found this in my garage I was like you know what I'm going to keep this in case we ever need it cuz I have seen this happen before look at that dude it worked [Music] out all right well um as we were going up to a CIS cool HPD with this stolen vehicle that they got in Pursuit with and route up there we were advised that this driver of the stolen vehicle had also rammed one of their officers um which now we have AG assault charges against this guy one of our deputies here uh who is pit certified um was able to get up front when the time was right a pit maneuver was conducted which immobilized the vehicle it did go down this bank here which then caused the vehicle to do one roll into this canal fortunately for the driver he's okay in case the driver was going to bail out I was advising the other deputies and officers on seeing that I was going to release my can9 to apprehend the suspect because of the charges we have against them that didn't happen once we realized the driver was all right we were making contact with him I grabbed a uh a rope that I had in my vehicle and was able to um rope him out of the car and uh just help him walk through the water once he was out of the canal he was detained and and uh arrested at that time and he's looking at charges for the stolen vehicle egg assault and whatever else the uh pursuing agency decides to um to do so good news is vehicles are good nobody got hurt even the vehicle that was used to uh pit him uh very minimal damage the deputy did an excellent job and other than that it's kind of good teamwork between three different agencies ourselves coolage and uh DPS I'm Deputy OB with penal County Sheriff's Office uh we were involved in a Pursuit here at coolage PD let us know that there was a pursuit of a stolen vehicle and then upgraded it and saying that there was an aggravated assault on law enforcement that the suspect veh rammed a law enforcement officer in their vehicle so uh we were close by and we joined in the pursuit I am pit certified um through ma PD and so I cruised through the front of the stack and then got an opportunity and fitted the guy out and ended the pursuit pretty simple it's actually my first pit in uh on the street so yeah that's pretty much the juice of it
