In Escambia County, [music] troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were conducting routine traffic enforcement 1 mile east of the Alabama-Florida state line when a trooper noticed a vehicle with illegal window tinting. He attempted to catch up to the vehicle, but it accelerated [music] to well over 100 miles per hour, hinting at the absolute mayhem that would quickly follow. >> [music] >> Because my lips are taped shut. The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Colley, was transported [music] to a local hospital and cleared for booking at Escambia County Jail. A search of his vehicle yielded a duffel bag in the front seat of Isaiah's vehicle containing a bag of 6.6 g of marijuana, a Glock, an AK-style rifle, a drum-style magazine for the AK, and 110 rounds of 7.62 [music] ammo. Multiple other boxes of ammunition were also found throughout the vehicle. Isaiah was charged [music] with felony fleeing with disregard to safety, possession of marijuana less than 20 g, resisting arrest without violence, leaving the scene of an accident, and reckless driving. The charge of reckless driving was later dropped. A judge [music] set his bond for each count, which totaled $65,000. Isaiah was released on bond, and his case was working through the system when he was arrested again on December 4th, 2023. This time for murder and attempted murder. According to the arrest report, allegedly met a group of three men to [music] buy an ounce of marijuana. During the transaction, Isaiah grabbed the weed and ran while the victims gave chase. After the victims rounded a corner, gunfire erupted, leaving one person in the group dead from gunshot [music] wounds. Isaiah also bragged about being internet famous due to running from the cops and [music] being bit by a canine. >> [cheering] >> ISAIAH AND HIS 18-YEAR-OLD [music] BROTHER, who was accused of firing the shots, were both arrested and are currently awaiting trial without bond.
