Please no. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. PLEASE LET ME GO IN MY ROOM. I NEED my stuff. >> Relax. >> Stop. Don't. >> In today's video, mental health becomes just a fancy label for a 19-year-old who never learned the word no. On January 14th, 2024, deputies responded to a call from a worried mother whose entitled daughter turned her home into a battlefield over a dispute with an ex-boyfriend. Instead of seeking help, this trashy teen chose to treat the arrival of law enforcement like a personal insult, setting the stage for a very expensive lesson in accountability. >> Bernalo County 911. What is the address of your emergency? Okay, tell me exactly what happened. She has an ex-boyfriend that continually keeps telling her to kill herself and I need somebody to come. >> Okay. What's going on right now? >> She's just walking back towards my house. My house. But I need I need mental health. >> Okay. >> No, she just said that she was going to run into herself. That's what everybody wants. That's what she said. >> So, what's going on? So, I'm Mom. Um, my 19-year-old is in a mental health crisis. Um, her ex-boyfriend and her have been fighting for a while. Um, she just came into the living room and she was asking me to call his parents because he's telling her and then when I refuse to call, she turned off running towards security and that's when I called for you guys. >> Is she inside? >> Yes. Anybody that tries to go inside, she's screaming and yelling. I can't help. Does she have any weapons? >> We're going to be live streaming. >> Okay, >> Adrian, the cops want to talk to you. >> They need to know what Jaden is saying. >> No. >> Hey, Eden. >> No, >> you're not in trouble. >> NO, I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO ANYONE. >> OKAY, I I understand you don't want to talk to anyone, but we're here to >> YEAH. AND I DIDN'T CALL FOR ANY KINDS OF COPS. PLEASE LEAVE. PLEASE NO. STOP. STOP. STOP. GET THE HONEY. >> HONEY. HONEY. NO. THEY'RE NOT GOING TO HOLD. HONEY, THEY DON'T WANT TO TALK. MAYBE JUST >> DON'T TOUCH ME. >> Eden clearly used this psycho behavior to get her way for years. And it showed the moment the cops walked in. She started screaming like a toddler. The second things didn't go her way. It was pure stupidity to think she could dictate police procedure while having a massive meltdown. She wasn't just upset. She was performing for an audience that WASN'T BUYING IT. >> I CAN'T STOP. OKAY. THE door sterilizing it, baby. >> No, I don't want to talk to you. Shut the up, BABY. SHUT UP. >> Please don't talk TO THE COP. >> NO, I DON'T CARE. STOP. YOU'RE HURTING. STOP. EDEN, TAKE A BREATH. >> EDEN, TAKE A BREATH. RELAX. >> I'm not Baby, I'm not I CAN DO ANYTHING. I CAN HURTING YOURSELF, ADRIAN. >> I don't want you to hurt yourself. And I want them to touch you. >> Okay. We're here. >> They hurt him. TAKE A BREATH. Take a breath. They can let you relax. Breathe so they can let you go. Breathe so they can let you go. THAT'S TOO MUCH. I CAN'T. IT'S TOO MUCH. OKAY. Promise you won't do nothing. I SWEAR YOU WON'T DO NOTHING. Do anything. Please. We can't. Stop touching me, >> honey. She doesn't like touch. Stop. Can I come to you if you don't stop touching me? She's being real. She's being real. She won't She won't They're not touching me. Take a breath. Okay. Take a breath. But they're touching me. >> Just relax. Okay. >> Nobody is trying to hurt you, honey. We're trying to prevent you. >> You get this. So you don't talk to me. Don't talk to me. >> And so then talk to me. >> Jay can't sit there and tell you. >> Don't talk to me. >> Jay can't talk to me. >> Okay. Hey, Eden. I meant it. Don't talk to me. >> Can you tell me? >> I'm done with you. I'm done with you being my mother. Done. >> Can you tell me what's what happened today? What What has you like this? >> I don't want to talk about this. >> Okay, I know you don't want to. >> The mother kept begging her to take a breath, but Eden was too busy firing her own parent. Claiming her mom wasn't her mother anymore because she called for help was peak immaturity and overly dramatic. She wanted control over the room, but the officers were finally providing some much needed boundaries. >> I don't want to talk to anyone. I told you this. >> Okay. What has you like this, Eden? >> Stop. >> What? What happened? >> NO, YOU DIDN'T. >> HEY, don't listen to mom. Hey, don't listen to me. >> She's not my mother. She's Anita. >> Okay, that's okay. That's okay. Can you just talk to me? Please. >> I don't want to talk to anyone. Please, stop. >> Eden, >> no. Just take a deep breath. >> Stop talking to me. >> Just take a deep breath. >> Stop talking to me. >> Stop. I didn't want anyone. Go. Leave. You're not needed. >> Okay, you done. Just I want you to take deep breaths alone. >> Just take a deep breath. >> Just take a deep breath. Leave me alone. >> You're okay. >> Leave me alone. >> PLEASE. That's going to make it worse. Yes. Just go inside. Come get you. >> Did you take anything today? >> Just keep breathing. You're okay. You're doing fine. Okay. >> Cops away from me. >> Okay. >> Get all the cops away from me. Get all the cops away from me. Get all away from me. >> Okay. Hey, Adrian. Adrian, >> just relax. >> No. The cops are here. >> I DON'T LIKE THE COPS. GET THEM AWAY. I TOLD YOU THIS. >> OKAY. FREAKING OUT. NO, >> THE MEDICS ARE DOWN THE STREET. >> OKAY, INSTEAD, >> BABY, let me get A MEDIC INSTEAD. OKAY, >> CAN YOU STOP TALKING TO me now, please? It's just it's making it worse. Let me go. >> YOU CAN'T. >> PLEASE LET ME GO IN MY ROOM. I NEED MY STUFF. >> YOU DIDN'T STOP. >> All right, WE'RE >> NO. NO. >> I WAS JUST TRYING TO PUT THE NO, I DIDN'T. NO, I DIDN'T. I DIDN'T MEAN TO. >> You need to stop, >> N. I didn't mean to, please. I'm telling the truth. I didn't mean to. >> Ma'am, please. You need to calm down. >> I am calm. You need to calm down. >> There's too many cops around me. I didn't mean to bite. >> You're going to calm down. >> Just when you thought the drama couldn't get any worse, she decided to turn into a vampire. Claiming she didn't mean to bite is the most ridiculous excuse ever recorded on body cam. You don't accidentally sink your teeth into a human being. She was immature, overly dramatic, and completely out of control. Yet, she still expected everyone to cater to her. >> I am calm. Please don't put me in. >> You're going to put get put in cuffs >> because you bit me. >> I didn't mean to, M. >> Please. I didn't mean to. >> I just sworn in my blanket. No, I to myself. >> Hey, Eden, I get it. >> You're going through a lot. >> But you don't have to be biting us. We're We're just We're just here to help you. >> We're not here to to cause any other harm or anything. We're just here to help you. >> I get it. I get it. You're going through a hard time. And I tried to close my mouth and I accidentally bit me. Can you just say relax, >> Eden? Just take a breath. Okay, >> just take a breath. >> We're trying to help you. >> Just relax. Okay, just relax. >> I didn't want it. >> Just calm down. >> I wanted to be in MY ROOM. >> SHE'S slipping out. >> Please just let me be in my room. >> My safety is fine. Please stop. >> Your mom said that you were going to run out. >> Yeah. I told her I was going for a walk for a second, but she fully ignored me. >> Okay. Okay. Just keep taking a deep breath. Just keep taking a deep breath. >> SHE FULLYING IGNORED ME LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES. I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. I'm not going to. You guys were called for a waste of time. I don't want to talk to any of you. Please don't comfort me. Please. You're going to have to stay like that. >> Why? >> You are. You know why >> I'm asking you why? Because I am confused. >> Because you bit me and you're trying to take off and >> I'm not trying to take off. I was trying to go to my room and I told you I did not need to be. That's not what I was trying to do. >> It doesn't matter. You're going to stay in your cuffs. >> Can you just tell me what happened? I don't need to know details if you don't want to talk about it. >> She kept crying about her safety being fine while literally being in handcuffs for assault. She actually had the nerve to ask why she was still cuffed after biting a deputy. It's pretty clear that accountability was a brand new concept for her. She was so used to being enabled that she genuinely couldn't comprehend why biting someone resulted in restricted freedom. >> But can you tell me why I'm here today? >> If you don't want to talk about personal details because that's my ex and that's really it. >> Is he here? >> No, he's being emotionally abusive like he always is. >> Okay. So, you got in an altercation with your mom about it? No, I was trying to walk outside. I'll tell you, I was going to go for a walk, but she called the cops. >> Do you know why she called the cops? >> I don't. Probably because I was crying and trying to walk away. >> She There was mentioned that you made me have made a comment about wanting to yourself. >> Because my you say something in anger >> for me to myself. >> He told you to do that? >> Yep. >> Do you have any plans to do that? >> No. >> Have you ever made attempts in the past? >> Very many, but none of them succeeded. Okay. And you don't feel like that right now? >> No. >> No. >> Because I need just to be left alone. >> I know. I know. I just need to get a better understanding of what's going on. Okay. Cuz we we are worried about your wellbeing. >> You look at me. >> You don't want to look at anyone. I'm sorry. >> That's okay. I respect that. Any alcohol today? >> I've only smoked a little bit today. >> Just some. >> Okay. Not more than usual. Not something that might affect. >> I actually haven't smoked a lot more today cuz my throat hurts. >> Okay. >> Okay. Have you seen your ex today? >> No. >> Cuz there hasn't been any physical violence or contact recently. No. >> Do you mind if I go speak with your mom? Go ahead. >> Okay. >> I know you don't want to look at me and that's okay. So, your mom also told me that this the same thing you told me. So, all your stories are the same. But she her concern to me is that sometimes it feels like your emotions are a lot. Does it feel that way for you? >> That's always how it is. It's nothing new. That's why That's why keeping it's nothing new. This is normal. >> Normal for you? >> Yes. Can everyone please go away? >> We can't quite yet. Okay. Please. >> It's funny how she blamed everyone else, her ex, her mom, the cops, for her own choices. She admitted to smoking a little bit, which probably didn't help her already fragile grip on reality. She was controlling and manipulative, trying to paint herself as the victim while a deputy stood there with literal bite marks on their arm from her so-called accidental attack. >> Because you also did bite a police officer. >> I didn't mean to because there was so much spit in my mouth. I kept saying sorry. I kept saying I didn't mean to. >> Take a deep breath. Okay, take a deep breath. A deep one in through your nose and out through your mouth. Okay. >> I can't breathe through my nose, so please stop. >> Then take a deep breath in your mouth. >> Please continue what you were saying. >> My concern is that I know that you have these emotions that are explosive, but those can be managed. >> I know that you guys keep telling me all the stuff that I've been hearing since I was 11 years old. >> But your mom also said you've never taken medication. Yes, I have never taken medication cuz she's never wanted me to. >> She also said that, but she says that it's something that she thinks would be good for you. >> Okay. And I'm not going to hospital. >> Okay. You don't want to go to the hospital. >> I am not. >> Don't yell at me. >> I am not. >> Don't lower your voice. >> THEN STOP TELLING ABOUT THE HOSPITAL. >> I'm asking. >> Everybody stop. >> Have you spoken with your therapist about it? >> Uh he's been off this week, so I kind of can't. All right. So, you don't want to go to the hospital for 27 minutes. >> Okay. >> Silver. >> The hospital scares me >> beyond belief. Just like all these police officers that are staring at me right now. >> So, I am under a LOT OF STRESS RIGHT NOW. SO, CAN YOU all stop? >> You need to lower your voice and calm down, girl. >> That all of you need to stop looking at me. All of the foreigner right there, please. going to be like two people or like three at least, just not all of you. I won't do anything. I'm not >> I'M NOT VIOLENT. I'M NOT ANYTHING. >> I believe you. I believe you. But they're here and I know you bit them on accident, but they're here because of that. Okay? I know it was an accident. I believe you. Okay? But that's why they're here and that's why they can't leave. >> So, I was just going to come into you and see if you would go to the hospital and get evaluated. Then that's fine. I can't make you. You're denying SI and any harms of hurting yourself. But I do have to go talk with the police officers. Okay. >> Watching her try to negotiate her way out of a hospital visit was like watching a kid bargain for five more minutes of playtime. She claimed the hospital scared her. Yet, she had no problem terrifying her own family with threats of self harm. She even demanded that the officers stop looking at her. It was pure entitlement, acting like the police were her personal audience rather than law enforcement officers. Um, she is going to get charges for biting me. Um, I get it. She's going through a crisis. I get it. I completely get it. Um, but that's unacceptable. Um, I feel like we were trying to do everything we could to keep her calm. We weren't aggressive in any. Right here, you could see her her bite mark. >> Um, I'm sorry. She get you better. >> It's okay. I I get it. Her emotions are all over the place, but her actions have consequences. So, she's going to jail. >> She is because that's battery on a police officer. What's going to happen? >> She's going to go to jail and then you'll have to wait until she gets released. I I understand that this is not the outcome that you wanted. >> No. >> Um, but like I said, she is 19 years old. She's technically an adult and she knew what she was doing because she kept apologizing to me. She said she didn't mean to. >> I understand, but her actions do have consequences. And this was >> she bit me the second time that we we I was trying to be calm with her. And I used already let her go. >> Yeah. I had let her go, giving her the benefit of the doubt. >> Um because I like I said, I know that she's going through a lot. >> She's just a baby. So, let me see what's going on in there and then um >> Do you know what happened with those charges? Are they going to stay on her record forever? Is she going to be on >> They're going to be on her record. They are going to be on her record. >> The deputy telling the mom that actions have consequences was likely the first time that concept had ever been introduced in that household. The mother was still enabling her by calling a 19-year-old just a baby, while an officer got visible bite marks. All thanks to her entitled daughter. This wasn't a baby. It was an adult who made a conscious choice to be violent. >> Yep. >> I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. I really, really did. I was just >> Any thoughts? You want to go talk outside or you didn't? >> I'm really really sorry. >> Uh, take out the battery. Yeah, >> she kicks start to >> like really visible. >> Um, >> well, at least if we do that, we could put She needs a mental health screening at the jail. That'll give her some help. >> She just think it was like unacceptable. >> Let's do this. If you're going to take her, let's have 43 stand or 55 standby. We'll say like, "Hey, we're going to get her to the car." But like if it like gets out of control again, like where she's kicking and screaming and fighting and all that. Um, we might just have to like >> transport her. >> Transport her >> to um Marble Peak >> maybe >> cuz I mean we're pretty close to 431 10. She But she denied the 431 statements. >> So honesty I can get up. I can get up. YOU GUYS DON'T MEAN TO TOUCH ME. OKAY. >> YEAH. MOTHER, >> LET'S GET HER OUT. >> ARE YOU KIDDING ME? >> OKAY, JUST STAND IN THERE. >> I'm going to reach over. >> I'm going to reach over. I'm going to reach over. >> Please. Please. I'm sorry. >> Were those crocs on the floor yours? >> No. But please, Eden's night ended exactly how it should have for someone who thinks they can assault police without consequences. This wasn't a failure of mental health services. It was a failure of basic discipline and a lifetime of being a spoiled brat. You can't bite your way through life and expect a hug at the end of the day. Hopefully, the county jail provides a much better environment for her to learn the respect she never showed her mother. The 19-year-old was charged with felony battery on a peace officer after kicking and biting deputies during the encounter, but she remains innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Her violent outburst transformed a family welfare check into a serious criminal matter that will follow her for years. Do you think the mother's enabling behavior contributed to this disaster? Or was Eden solely responsible for her choice to attack the officers? Let us know in the comments. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more daily body cam recaps.
