Hey, >> do not pull away. Don't you dare. >> I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do what you said. Makes sense of my like life that like everybody expects me to do. They say >> this video took us to April 9th, 2025 in Indian River County, Florida, where a routine gym night quietly turned into a full-blown disaster. Deputies responded to a report of a woman slumped over her steering wheel, looking more passed out than parked. The moment contact was made, the smell of alcohol told the story before she did. What followed was a messy mix of denial, emotional breakdowns, and decisions that only made things worse. >> What's going on? >> I took um like some drink. >> A what? >> I drink. >> You drink? >> I drink. >> You drink alcohol? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what's going on tonight? You're going to judge me for this? >> I'm not going to judge you. >> I'm not going to judge you. >> I've literally tried to read the best mom ever and I can't I can't do this anymore. I'm done with everything. >> With what? >> Being the perfect mom and the perfect. Well, it's hard to be perfect, isn't it? >> We can't be perfect. >> Is >> what's going on? They said you were like asleep and they couldn't get a hold of you or they couldn't wake you up. What's going on? >> You can tell me. I'm not going to judge you or anything. >> Everybody is judging me. Everybody >> I don't care what those people think about you. I'm not worried about what they think. >> But what's going on? Okay. So, I am this person and I I have to I got caught up in um being the PTA president. >> Okay. >> You send me a second. Probably a second one. >> Okay. >> Huh? They were asking if I was okay. So with with being the PD president, I have to I have to always be okay with everything. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I can't do that. >> Okay. I get it's hard. What's going like what what what happened? Did you I know you said you drink. Did you drink something? >> Tracy started her performance by immediately asking if the officer was going to judge her. It was a classic move for someone who knew they were a total hot mess. She kept rambling about being the PTA president and the perfect mom, as if it gave her a permit to drive while hammered. It was honestly exhausting watching her try to use her motherhood as a shield while she could barely form a clear sentence. >> I drank something. >> What did you drink? I drank um it's like it was like like something very simple. I'm just very >> What does that mean? Something very simple. >> No, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on a second. Hold on. Darling, darling. Darling, hold on. Or were you about to show me something? >> No. >> Okay. >> Obviously. >> No. No. No. No. No. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Please don't reach in there. Okay. Please don't reach in there. >> Okay. What did you drink? You say you drank something. I was trying to make sure you didn't drink something that's going to make you fall into a medical emergency. >> What was it? >> It was just like like >> Was it alcohol? >> It was alcohol, but it was it was not alcohol like like you would think like alcohol would be like >> What do you mean it wasn't alcohol like I would think? You know the um thing. I'm trying to think. >> You're what? >> I'm in real big trouble. Am I? >> I don't. >> I'm just trying to figure out what my >> I'm just trying to find out why I'm just trying to find out why we're here. That's it. Okay. >> Did you drink some alcohol tonight? >> What happened? >> What? >> What happened? >> I'm trying I'm You talking about why I'm here? Somebody called and said you were slumped over the wheel. >> That's why I showed up. >> Yeah, >> that's why I'm here. So, I'm just trying to figure out did you >> I am like I have a bit people. >> You have what? >> I need help. >> You need help like help uh with alcohol? But okay. How much alcohol did you drink tonight or today? >> Today maybe like a little bit. Like I don't know. >> How much is a little bit? >> A little. >> How much is a little? >> When asked what she drank, Tracy claimed it was alcohol, but not like you would think. As if she thought she was drinking magic juice or just highquality industrial solvent. She acted like she was in real big trouble, which she was, but still tried to reach into her car against orders. The officer was incredibly patient, probably because he realized he was dealing with the maturity of a toddler in an SUV. >> You're going to judge me. >> I'm not going to judge you. I'm absolutely not going to judge you. >> I'm like PD president. I need like my I I literally understand where I'm at in my >> Of course, I'll understand. and everything. I'm like PTA president. I'm like this person that's supposed to be the most like best part. >> Okay. But look, I I just I want you to tell me what what got us here tonight. That's what I'm trying to figure out. >> I don't understand. Do you >> I would definitely understand. Okay. So, I want to listen. I always make sense of my like life. >> You always what? >> I always make sense of my life. >> Okay. You always make sense of your life. >> Yeah. Wait. >> Okay. >> Why are you holding your gun? >> I swear I rest my hand. >> I can't. >> How much alcohol did you drink tonight? >> I think like very little. >> You sure very little got us here? >> You already know. You can look at me and tell him. So, stop. >> I just want to hear you say it. >> Enough to >> Huh? >> Enough to what? Not me. >> Enough to what? You saying you drank enough alcohol to what? Where are your keys at? >> Where are the keys to your car at? First off, what's your name? >> Danielle. >> Danielle. Okay. Where are the keys to your car at? Please don't me up. >> Damn, I'm not going to mess you up, but where are the keys to your car at? I just need to know. Are they in the ignition? >> Listen, >> where are they at? >> Tracy continued to whine about her life not making sense. While the deputy was just trying to find her car keys, she was so intoxicated she didn't even noticed the officer's patience was running out. She kept snorting, clearly unaware that she was about to trade her PTA meetings for a jail cell. At this point, it was clear she needed jail time, long-term rehab, and a permanent license revocation. >> Listen, >> what? >> Can I tell you something? This is my This is where my daughter goes to school like my daughter does her gymnastics. >> Okay. Where are your keys at? >> Can you please just give me a little bit of >> Where are your keys at? I need you to tell me where your keys are. Are they in the ignition or what? >> No. >> Are they in the car somewhere? >> They're in here somewhere. >> Okay. >> Is there any weapons in the car? >> I don't know if I asked. Okay. Where's your idea? >> Mom. >> Mother-in-law. >> Mother-in-law. >> Where's your idea? >> Yeah. She was um completely slumped over in the car. We were this close to breaking the window to get into her. >> Oh my god. >> So, >> oh my god. >> I can hear her bring it around. Can you Hey, can you guys please walk over cuz I'm not trying to accept her upset her please. Thank you. >> You I'm just going to my daughter up. >> Where's your daughter at? >> She's here. >> Is she inside right now? >> Yes. >> Are you here to pick her up? >> Yes. >> How old is she? >> Nine. >> Okay. Do you live with your husband or something? >> Listen. >> What? >> Yes, I am with him. >> Okay. No. >> Where do you live? >> I can hear them. >> Where do you live? >> Hold on. Can you give me a minute? >> Yeah. Take a second. >> What are you doing? You're just >> I'm waiting for you to talk. >> Judging me. >> I'm not judging you. I'm just waiting for you to talk. >> I'm sorry. I apathologic to terrifying when Tracy admitted she was there to pick up her 9-year-old daughter. She was literally planning to drive a child while being four times the legal limit. She kept asking for a little bit of help, but the only help she deserved was a pair of handcuffs. It was a disgusting display of negligence. She was lucky she didn't kill someone on the drive there >> in like perfect. >> Can you tell me again where your keys are? Will >> do. >> Can you tell me exactly where your keys are? >> My keys are in freaking >> Are they Cuz I can't see. Are they in the ignition or what? >> Oh, I'll give you my keys. >> Okay, Daniel, we'll get them. You mind just stepping outside for me? >> Do you mind just stepping out of the car for me? >> Yeah. You >> I need you to hop out of the car. You're really going to do this for me. >> Can you hop out of the car? >> Can you not do that? >> Can you please hop out of the car? >> I need you to hop out of the car. >> I'm sorry. >> All right. Can you stop over here with this deputy? >> I'm sorry. >> It's okay. >> Do you mind if I get the keys out of your car? >> Are they in this bag? Okay. >> Where at? >> Where are the keys at? >> They're not. It's okay. No, it's okay. It's okay. Eg. You can just tell me where they're at. >> Can I just go look? >> I don't really want you in the car too too much. Okay. Can you walk over here to the back of the car? >> Look, I'm not going to like do something. >> Let's walk over to the back of the car. I don't think you are. Let's go over to the back of the car. Okay. >> Oh my god. Are you serious? >> Let's walk over to this deputy, please. >> You going to walk over to this deputy? Okay. Put your hand back. >> Stop. Do not pull away. Do not pull away. Don't do that. >> I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do what you said. You You said I'll do what you said. I'll do what you said. You said >> I'll do what you said. I promise. I won't. Hey B, I think her daughter's inside. Her 9-year-old. Okay, I think she's picking her up. Sling, stop. >> Once she stepped out, Tracy, of course, turned into a puddle of apologies and I'm sorry while refusing to just walk to the back of the vehicle. She pulled away like a toddler having a tantrum, which only made things worse. It was painful to watch her struggle with basic instructions. She promised she wouldn't do anything, but her lack of compliance was already speaking volumes. You need to stop. You really need to stop. >> Go put her in the car. I'm trying to double lock her real quick. >> All right, let's go. >> Let's go this way. >> Yep. >> Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please. >> Let's go over here. Let's go over here. >> Get up against the car. Is there anything on you can stick me or stab me? Is there anything in your pockets I need to be aware of? >> Okay. I'm going use the back of my hand to pack you down. Okay. >> I need you to get in the car. >> I need you to get in the car. >> Step up in the car. >> Okay. >> All right. Use your left foot first and step up on the ledge right here. There you go. You sure you want to go that high? Okay. What are we doing? >> I don't know. >> Are you going to get in the car? >> I'm going I'm going. >> Okay. How about this? Put your left foot right here on the ledge so you can step up. You're not stepping up as high. >> Okay. Put your left foot right here. Put your left foot right here. >> Okay. Do that or step up in the car. All right. You need to sit up, too. You need to sit up. You need to sit up. Sit up and move over. >> Go on the other side. Yep. >> Sorry. >> You don't got to apologize to me. You got to apologize to your daughter who you were coming. Did you drive here or were you coming to pick her up? >> Okay. You need to apologize to your daughter who you were coming to pick up while you were intoxicated. The struggle to get her into the patrol car was a comedy of errors. She couldn't figure out how to step onto the ledge, and the officers had to basically guide her like a lost calf. She was coming to pick up a child while intoxicated, which is just inexcusable. She really needed her license revoked before she actually hurt someone. >> Yeah, >> we wanted her to go for help. >> She wasn't driving. The car was not running. >> Well, state of Florida, the car doesn't need to be running. She's in physical control of her keys and a call or she I don't know if you seen what she just did to us right there. >> We were watching. >> Okay. So, her not complying with us. >> She's unsetting her feet or our body cams like it would look horrible if we just let her go. >> Can I ask you a quick question? >> Sure. >> Okay. Now, we're just we're just like a big family here and we I just want to make sure she's all right. >> Yeah, she'll be okay. Are you guys going to take her in or >> when you guys were talking she could hear you and I was trying to like ask her what was going on. She heard and she just was getting off track. Who found her? >> Um she a member came in and said there was a lady unresponsive in the car. So she came to the front desk and then they came out. >> Yeah. >> You guys came out to pass. I banged on the window a couple times. She wasn't really responsible. >> Were you the one? You were the one that found her though after they flagged you guys down. >> Me and her. We both We both came running out here. >> I talked to you over the phone. >> Me? >> Yeah. >> Sure. >> I told you I needed help and you didn't listen to me. >> But it's just been kind of a spiral and we've all been very concerned about her. >> Okay. So just >> you know at least somebody somebody was looking out and found her like that and actually went inside >> way and I actually took my shirt off to break the window to try and get her open but I punched it twice. It didn't break and she actually start to come through. >> Um >> Okay. So she wasn't responsive just to you banging on the window >> like knocking on the driver's side door. Yeah. >> Knocking on the driver side door. >> She wasn't she wasn't responsive. Um, so you know, so then I said, "I'm going to break the window cuz I want to try and, you know, try and help out." >> I've got her. I just want you to know. Okay. So, I'll say while you're done. >> Thank you. >> As she was placed in the patrol car, the situation turned painfully uncomfortable. She cried, apologized, and blamed everyone else in the same breath. The deputies didn't rush or escalate. They simply followed procedure. Meanwhile, bystanders explained how close they came to breaking the car window earlier. That detail alone showed how serious the situation looked before law enforcement even arrived. >> Quick question. Yep. >> Um will they get her like can she get like a rehab or something or is that something >> I mean that's ideally that's going to be something that's going to be up to the court on what they decide what they want to do when she goes to her first appearance. They can work all that out and see what's going to happen. Yeah. No, he will be. >> I can't deal with these people. >> You know, she's clearly too intoxicated to be picking up her daughter, her her nine-year-old daughter. >> I'm not I'm not denying any of that, you know. >> So, >> so like I said, I wanted I tried to break the window just just in case and I asked if anybody had narc. I really didn't know what was going on. She finally woke up pretty much >> when I went to when I tried to smash the back window with my fist. She kind of stumbled came through and then we told her open the door and that's when she kind of started to come through come through a little bit. >> She had a 9-year-old daughter. She said she was going to pick up the grand picked her up, I guess. >> What happened? >> Grandmother just picked her up. >> Okay. Grandma's picked her up. >> Yeah. Um trying to find her keys. Oh, okay. >> I don't care. Okay. >> You just spell your first name for me. >> You just spell your first name for me. >> I'm sorry. >> Tracy. >> I thought it was Daniela. >> Daniel. Like, but Jersey is like >> Okay. What's your legal name? How can I How can I locate you? >> Tracy. >> Spell it. with an I. >> Okay. T R A C I E. >> What's your middle initial? >> Daniel. >> Danielle. >> Background details started filling in the blanks. She had been unresponsive long enough for gym staff to panic. People didn't intervene for fun. They thought she was in danger. That context changed everything. This wasn't an overreaction. It was concern. Her frustration toward those people felt misplaced, especially when they were the reason the situation didn't turn medical instead of legal. >> What's your last name? >> Taylor. >> I'm sorry. What? >> Taylor. >> P A. >> P. Spell it slowly. >> P L E H O. >> Okay. >> P L E. You said P L E. T >> H L E >> R >> I >> R >> R What else? >> Er, >> what? >> P H L E R. That's not like >> I'm not. >> No, I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I'm >> Well, you're talking clearly now. >> You're talking clearly now. I'm trying to get your last name. I asked you your last name. >> P O E H L E R. >> P O E H >> L E R. >> Okay. >> Oh, damn. >> Do you want to talk about what happened? I'm >> not trying to give you >> Do you want to talk to me what happened with your eye? >> Do you want to talk about what happened with your eye? >> Nothing. >> Okay. >> He's amazing. >> No. Shoot. I guess they call it welfare [ __ ] >> Yeah, >> she's impaired. As you can see, she's >> clearly >> no excuse for that. >> No. >> So, I don't know if you heard I guess like get her right. No. >> No. >> I I'm not in a business to do that, but >> then it comes falling on us. >> Yeah, exactly. >> No, I just Oh my god. Like, this looks soing horrible. >> No, I don't I don't even have it. Is it in her purse? >> What? I I have not touched I just >> We haven't touched anything. >> The phone was ringing. I have not touched a thing. >> And the grand her grandmother came to pick the the daughter up, you said? Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I'll take like I said, I'll do the tithe. >> I told you I needed and you didn't listen to me. So, [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. >> The officer tried to get her legal name and Tracy struggled through the alphabet like it was a foreign language. She gave multiple names including Tracy Danielle and Tracy Danielle Taylor. When she finally tried to spell her last name, it sounded more like she was clearing her throat than providing identification. She was so impaired that there was absolutely no excuse for her behavior. It took several minutes just to figure out who was actually going to jail. >> She is >> dude. >> Yeah, that was pretty bad. >> Why' you do this here? >> I didn't do anything >> here. My daughters gymnastics. I would never have done anything here. What was your division on this? Cuz they're looking at it. I see my >> dispatch has been updated. >> Hey, can you tell me please? >> What? >> I'm not asking you much. >> You have to ask me the question that you're trying to ask. >> I'm asking you why. Why? Why did you arrest me at this moment? What did you say? >> I said I didn't do anything here. You're a DUI. >> You didn't do anything. I'm not >> DUI coming to pick up your daughter. >> I can't do this anymore. I can't do it anymore. >> What do you mean you can't do it anymore? >> I can't be PT president. I can't [ __ ] live this life that like everybody expects me to do. They say you have to be this person and I can't do it. I can't do it anymore. I'm sorry. And I'm sorry that you had to be I am a PTA brother. I I am in charge of everything. And if like you guys put me on this thing, I will destroy me. It will destroy me. Like it will destroy me. It will destroy me. Yes. Yes. I've been drinking and I've been drinking and I'm like >> in her final moments before being hauled away, Tracy finally confessed to her drinking problem. Realizing her perfect life was officially over, the officer dropped the hammer by revealing her prior DUI and multiple license suspensions. It wasn't just a bad day. It was a lifestyle of dangerous decisions. She wasn't a perfect person anymore. She was just a criminal with a very high BAC. >> The drinking problem was like I need help. But I need like a family better. >> Sounds like you need some help with a drinking problem. I didn't want toing ruin my life because >> Well, look, the reason why I say that is because you already have one, prior driving while l I'm sorry, driving under the influence and two uh driving while licenses suspended and you have >> prior suspensions for refusal to submit to blood alcohol or I'm sorry, you have blood, breath or urine tests. >> Oh, that was >> tells all this together tells me you have a you have an alcohol problem. Okay. more than just getting arrested for a DUI. Eventually, you got to kind of wake up and see who you're hurting. You were coming to pick up your nine-year-old daughter from gymnastics. Okay. >> So, I'm a horrible person, right? >> Not saying you're a horrible person. You just need I think you need some help with some decision- making. >> Listen, I love my daughter. >> I'm I have no doubt that you do love your daughter. I'm just saying you got to the situation you're putting yourself in. >> And they always think your life is so perfect because you're just like this perfect person. So how am I now? I am not that perfect person anymore. I have no >> All right, let's go. 97 in the notes. >> How do you come back? I don't know. Let's go. Step up here. Step up here. >> I got to move the door back. I need you to listen to what I'm saying. All right, let's go this way. >> I just need you to listen to what I'm saying. Okay. >> I can't see you. >> Let's go. >> You tell me. Can you come back from that life? everything. He's falling down. >> Let's go. >> Dispatch has been updated. >> Where did you guys get me? >> I'm sorry. >> Where did you guys get me? >> At Chrissy's Fitness. Do you remember? >> In the parking lot. >> Yeah. >> How? >> What's that? >> How? So, one of the um somebody that goes to the gym there got concerned about you cuz you were slumped over the wheel. That's not right. >> Slumped over the wheel. >> Yes. >> Was I slumped over the wheel? >> Uh when I got there, no. You were awake when I got there. >> Okay. So, I wasn't slumped over the wheel. >> Not when I got there. No. Somebody else called and said you were. >> I didn't even have enough to drink to do that. >> Tracy Poler's day ended in a jail cell instead of a gymnastics meet. She tried to use her status and her daughter as a get out of jail free card, but a 365 BAC is impossible to talk your way out of. Her perfect life was a house of cards that finally collapsed under the weight of her own bad decisions. Hopefully, this was the wakeup call she needed to actually get help instead of just complaining about the pressure. Tracy Polo was officially charged with DUI with a BAC of.15 or higher with an added enhancement for her prior DUI conviction. After blowing a 365, which is nearly 4 and 1/2 times the legal limit, the court showed little mercy. In May 2025, she was found guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail, ordered to pay $2,700 in fines, and placed on supervised probation for 12 months. Do you think 30 days was enough for someone who almost drove a child while that drunk?
