You need TO SETTLE DOWN. YOU NEED TO SETTLE DOWN. YOU NEED to settle down. >> Don't touch me. >> You need to settle down. >> NO, I WILL NOT SETTLE DOWN. >> YOU WILL BACK UP. >> GET OFF OF ME. >> [screaming] >> THE AIRPORT IS USUALLY A PLACE FOR vacations and expensive snacks. [music] But on April 16th, 2023, a woman decided to turn Terminal 3 into her own personal wrestling ring. She was spotted running through crowds and screaming at the top of her lungs to test everyone's patience. Officers tried to speak with her calmly, but she treated every attempt at communication like a declaration of war. It was a chaotic scene that proved some people should definitely stick to road trips. >> Okay. The one in the brown. >> Hello. >> Don't touch me. >> We're not touching him. Yeah. >> Leave me alone. >> What's going on? >> No. No. No. Hey, I spoke with your husband earlier. I was the one to speak. You >> spoke with him already. >> I know. So, are you on the phone with him? >> Don't touch me. We alone. >> Are you Can we talk? >> Yeah. >> Text text and have green. I got it. >> 189 to 187. Can you check your phone? >> Uh-huh. >> Ma'am, don't. Please do not. >> Don't touch that. >> Leave me alone. >> No, I am not stopping. You will away from me. You need to settle down so we can talk. >> I'm sorry, baby. >> No. >> I am getting away from the people >> over there. OVER THERE. >> NO. Leave me alone. >> Ready. Do >> not. Excuse us. Sorry. >> Do not come NEAR ME. DO NOT COME NEAR ME. >> ALL RIGHT. YOU NEED TO SETTLE DOWN. YOU NEED TO SETTLE DOWN. You need to settle down. >> Don't touch me. >> You need to SETTLE DOWN. >> I WILL NOT SETTLE DOWN. >> YOU WILL BACK UP. >> YOU WILL BACK UP. >> From the very start, [music] she acted as if the world owed her a free pass. She yelled, waved a pen, and kept telling everyone to back off. Every simple instruction felt like an attack on her. >> [music] >> It was clear from the beginning that reasoning with her was going to be impossible. Pro tip moment here. If you did not want to be touched, you should not move like a spinning wheel in public while screaming at everyone nearby. >> YOU GOT ME [screaming] on the settle down. SETTLE DOWN. [screaming] GET THE GET OFF OF ME. >> GET OFF. GET OFF. GET OFF. NO. NO. NO. Stop biting me. Get off of me. No. Please. Please stop it. Please stop. >> Roll on your side. >> No. Get off of me. >> Get off of me. >> Roll over. You're making proud of yourself. >> Get the off of me. EVERYBODY GET >> ME. Good job. [screaming] >> Somebody help me. >> Somebody help me. >> Somebody help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. No. Leave me alone. >> Leave me alone. Leave me alone. >> Leave me alone. >> Please get off of me. Leave me alone. Leave me alone. Get off of me. >> Wait right there. >> GET OFF. PLEASE GET OFF of me. >> We're not on you. Just lay right there. Get medical. >> Please get off of me. I DON'T NEED MEDICAL. PLEASE HELP ME, GUYS. Once she was on the ground, the situation devolved into a literal biting match. One officer actually had to tell her to stop biting me, which is a sentence no one should ever have to say to an adult. She screamed for help as if she were the victim. Despite being the one trying to take a chunk out of law enforcement, her screaming reached pure peak level. >> GET OFF. NO. NO. PLEASE GET OFF. WOW. Oh my god. >> No. Please don't put me in a cage car. >> Please get off of me. >> Get off of me now. >> No. No. Please. >> You need to settle down. >> I know you have a family, too. >> Just do it to me. >> All right. >> I have kids. I have beautiful kids. Please leave me alone. >> Just settle down and we'll get everything. >> Please leave me alone. Please. Please. >> Just please get off of me. >> Please get off of me. >> Let go. You need to let me let go the key. >> Ouch. >> All right. Let go. >> You get off of me. >> Let go the keys. Let go. >> Get off of me. You're breaking my wrist. >> Well, you're let go. >> Okay. >> Let go. the break. >> So, you're not complying. That's why you're not up yet. Okay, here we go. >> Put your knees on. Can you put me up? >> If you don't when you start complying, >> we can set you right here. >> Put me up. >> Are you going to behave? >> What do you mean behave? >> You know, not kicking. >> I wasn't kicking you. >> Sure. >> I'm not going to negotiate with you when you're the person with the knee on my back. >> All right. Well, you're sitting on your side, so >> Yes. So, please hit me up. >> Well, I say you're not going to kick. I just say >> I'm NOT GOING TO KICK. I'M TRYING TO GET UP. >> NO, cuz you >> Oh my gosh. What is this? >> I don't think we can trust you to bring us. >> We're waiting for the medical people to come here and get and take a look at you. >> I don't want any medical team. >> Did you bring my no get him away? >> NEVER MIND. [screaming] >> GET him away from me, please. Help me. Help me. Help me. Suddenly, she was the victim, crying and pleading. Seconds earlier, she was biting officers. Now, she wanted mercy. She refused medical help while also demanding help, which made zero sense. [music] Officers stayed patient even while she twisted facts. This was not fear. [music] This was manipulation mixed with panic, hoping noise would replace accountability. >> But you're not listening to me, >> please. No, you're not. You're not going to wait for medical. [laughter] >> I don't want a medical person. What do you want me to do? >> What do you want me to do? >> Just lay on your side. >> I don't want to get here. >> I DON'T WANT MEDICAL. >> WELL, WE GOT to get you medical anyway. >> WE got to get you medical. >> Just No, just me. Then just take out your gun and me. >> No, we're not doing that. [screaming] >> I'm sorry, babies. This is normal for you babies. Babies, I want to tell you babies under the sound of my voice, this is not normal, kids. >> This is not normal. >> Right now, it's time to relax. >> No, no, NO, NO, NO. I DON'T want to relax. No. My sister did this to me. Aia Darina, where's my nephew Jordan? Oh, where are Paige Hope? >> Who are they? Where are my nieces and nephews? Please get off of me. No. Please don't. >> Just help me. Please help me. Don't do this to me. >> Oh god. No. >> Well, they're going to try to >> They're going to try to talk to you. Behave. >> Oh my gosh. Why are you telling me to behave? I have done nothing wrong. >> Okay. So, talk to me then. I'm I'm paramedic. >> I don't want a paramedic. out loud. >> I need help. >> Sam. Sam, can you swap please on me real quick? >> It's hurting. >> No, Sam, don't come near me. Sam, >> don't put on gloves and don't come near me. >> You got a cut on. What? How'd you get cut? >> Someone we got called out just a little bit ago >> when she was out here, man. We tried to approach her. >> No, no, no. They're lying to you. >> Pen in HER HAND. >> NO, THEY'RE LYING TO ME. >> Running through people. They >> I was not. Please help me. Please [clears throat] help me. Oh, God. Please, I'm not insane. >> Talk to these guys. >> I don't want to talk to them. >> She started shouting about her kids, dragging her babies into the mess like emotional shields. That was a low blow. Using children to dodge consequences never worked, and it definitely didn't work here. Officers tried calming her down, but she stayed locked in chaos mode. This was exactly how you got banned from places, starting with airports. The crowd watched as spectators and the whole scene screamed public meltdown. >> Well, can we start with what's your name? >> No. >> All right. I'm Ryan in case you want to. >> She just got all I see is this. >> Please don't touch me, sir. Please don't touch me. >> Does not want to work up here right now. >> Okay. >> Are you hurting anyone right now? >> This these gentlemen have hurt me. >> Okay. Where are you hurting? >> Can you please get them off of me, please? They seem to have a reason that you >> What is the reason then? >> Not them. I don't know. But if you're struggling struggling like this, >> I've been in this airport for hours asking for help. >> What kind of help? >> You know exactly the kind of help I need. >> I don't like my babies. >> What kind of help are you? >> Oh my babies. >> Oh my baby. No. Get away from me, PLEASE. WHERE? WHAT? BABY. >> NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. Please don't touch me. NO. NO. NO. GET OFF OF ME. PLEASE. >> NO. NO. NO. PLEASE. >> GET. >> These guys are trying to help me. >> No. Excuse me, sir. Sir, please help me. >> Do you want to switch with AJ? >> No. Don't switch with AJ. >> Stay with me. Sir, please help me. >> Oh my god. A little bit of both. Which one? I would say the probably the 52 and then >> well there's other stuff. Are you trying to get >> down the neck and everything? >> All right, lady. We're going to sit you up. >> Please don't call me. >> Okay. Well, you can help us with your leg. Okay. >> Is this your shoe over here, too? >> All right. Sit down. >> I don't wish to sit in >> We like you to sit down, please. Sit down. Please, please, please sit down. Please just sit down. >> You want to get her feet up down there? >> No, don't touch me. >> The paramedics arrived and she treated them like they were part of a conspiracy. She refused to give her name and acted [music] offended that anyone would dare to offer medical help. She claimed she had been in the airport for hours asking for help, but her definition of help clearly didn't involve following rules. She kept screaming for her babies while [music] trying to kick anyone within reach. Watching her refuse to sit in a chair was like watching a toddler fight nap time. >> Please, do you have a fair lift up? You can >> No, no, no, no. Don't let them take me. Please. Please don't. No. Please don't let me. Why are all these men on me and nobody's trying to help me? >> No, you're not. Just put this really up. >> Oh, >> is there other sneakers? >> I already don't touch me. Please stop it. Why would you hold out? >> Please don't let them take me. >> Does she have any other family members here? >> Just hold on to her. Hold on to her. >> So, there's some back. >> No. Get off of me. >> We got the back. Hang on to her. I got the back. >> My way. Why are you going? >> 23, I guess. Go left. >> JUST GO LEFT. >> YEAH. >> I'm sorry. This is happening to you, baby. >> Come on. >> 24. >> Can you make me get off her discovery? >> No. >> No. You can do me right now. >> Yes. You can me right now. >> I am not walking. You can me right now. Relax. >> I'm sorry, baby. This is happening to you. >> Going this way, folks. Use ma'am. Stop. Please come through here. >> Please. Please. >> Thank you. >> No. Please. Oh, come on. Now you're >> Please don't take me away. No. >> Stop kicking. >> NO. PLEASE. NO. >> NO. Help me. >> Come on, man. >> No. I will not. She kept yelling for them to just kill her, which is a bit dramatic for someone whose biggest problem was missing a flight. She refused to walk, [music] forcing four grown men to haul her through the airport like a sack of angry potatoes. It was an embarrassing spectacle for her, but a [music] great welcome to the city moment for the tourists watching the chaos unfold. >> Come on now. We're almost there. Come on, man. Come on. Come on. Come on, man. >> No. Why? >> Yes. >> I don't think I'm getting out. My batteries have behind you. All right, let's hold her here. Let her sit in the general. Look at you. >> Yes, we got we are out there walking around. >> No. What are you doing? >> Can you check my hands over here? >> We're going to be to your left. >> Was that a bike? >> Yes. You've been here downstairs? Yeah. Yeah. >> I don't think I have anything else. >> Yeah. I mean, smaller. I don't know what that was on our bike. >> I don't think. >> So, we don't need a second number for this. We're added to this run number. I got everything I need. information. Yeah, she's going to be >> Yeah, she's Yeah, she's make sure we have all the information. I think she may have a bag out there. I'm not sure. We'll be right there. Was that you saying better? >> They all have to return up there so we can meet you up there. All right. >> The officers were exhausted and honestly, can you blame them? Imagine being trapped on a plane with that psycho. The passengers truly dodged a bullet. They [music] discussed her battery on the officer as she'd clearly left some marks. She was making everything 10 times harder than it needed to be for absolutely no reason. Do they have a >> help me a lot more difficult? >> No, don't relax. Relax. >> Watch your hands. >> Grab her arms. You guys ready? On three. One, two, three. Up she goes. Arms. Please put me down. I'm walk. [screaming] >> OKAY. >> Let me walk now. You said >> 92 now. And now you're going to walk with us. >> Get off of me. >> Excellent. I'll talk to you when we get down there. Okay. All right, ma'am. I'll talk to you when we get down there. here. >> Yeah. >> Hey. Hey. Sorry. >> Yep. Amar's still coming off. >> Do not give me any drugs. I don't use any drugs. >> If you're going to get a structure up HERE THEN I DON'T use any drugs >> here and they're READY TO >> THEY'RE TRYING to get a structure up. >> Yeah. Hey. Oh no. >> And as I was trying to flip her over, she stopped real bad. >> No. I was like, "Stop." >> Medical transport became necessary, not optional. Officers planned carefully because her behavior stayed unpredictable. She refused the hospital verbally, but her actions forced the decision. This was no longer about choice. It was about safety. The situation had crossed too many lines. Disorderly behavior plus violence always ended the same way with restraints, paperwork, and regret. Okay. >> 189. Can I get my 99? So So here's what's going to happen. You're going to go when you enter the hospital. He's he's going to ride in the back. We'll escort him up there. And while you're there, you get this looked at at the same time. And then we need to call in first notification also. All right. We need to make a first notification on that also. So, I'll get you the number and all that stuff and it'll be easier if you just give them all the information. I don't have all your your information. So, you'll just report that and when you're up there, you have an evaluation and then making sure, you know, let them really look at it, make sure the skin is intact, and if it's not, then maybe blood if we need to or make sure she doesn't have any anything that's going to cause an alarm. Is that all right? So, that's how we're going to handle this. Do we need to take her? >> Yeah, she she's got to go to the hospital. I mean, where everything here? Yeah. She just got to go to the hospital because of the narcotic or whatever they >> I don't want to go to the hospital once she's released from there. >> I do not want to go to the hospital. You gave me a nar. All right. So, instead of carnel for what? >> And then just let me know what the outcome is on that. Yeah. Heat. We're going to put soccer on you. Okay. >> I KNOW. >> AND THEN one of those. >> By this point, [music] it was clear this was not a one-time bad night. People do not flip like this only in public and act calm at home. She acted like this was normal life. It felt like she was either taking way too many pills or none at all. The officer stayed calm while she stayed loud. The hospital ride felt less like help and more like the next stop in her usual routine. I think it's going to be soon as you get your ID send it out so I can see Yeah. >> If I would have known, I would have brought my own arm inside a little bit. Right out there. Okay. >> I think right now uh he he was running ahead maybe downstairs on the back of the stretcher. Okay, I want to be in there with you. Hold on. I appreciate your pat going and we have another unit following us. This is how you get banned from the airport forever and lose your dignity in front of hundreds of travelers. She turned a travel day into a criminal record because [music] she thought the world revolved around her tantrum. Between the biting, the kicking, and the weird baby shield tactics, she proved she wasn't ready for civilization, let alone a flight. Some people just aren't built for public transport. The airport vampire was slapped with a laundry list of charges [music] that were much heavier than her carry-on. She faced disorderly conduct, battery, resisting arrest with violence, and resisting arrest without violence. Surprisingly, [music] she avoided a prison cell by entering a pre-trial diversion program. Her sentence included 100 hours of community service, a mental health evaluation, and a written letter of apology to the people she tried to chew on. She also had to attend community corrections classes to learn how to act like a civilized human. Do you think 100 hours of community service is enough for biting a cop? Or should she have done actual time? Let us know in the comments below. If you loved this recap, make sure to like and subscribe.
