On July 26th, 2024, deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office were at a house on an unrelated call when a woman came knocking on the front door stating there was a fight between a teenager and a 30-year-old woman happening just a few houses down from the deputies' location. >> Ma'am, who's fighting? >> It's an adult in a town. >> Well, they need to stay away or they're from >> I need you out there. >> Who's fighting who? Ma'am, who's fighting who? >> My daughter and my sister. >> Your daughter and your sister. How old is your daughter? >> My daughter's 14. >> And she's fighting your sister, why? >> And my sister is 30 something. >> Why are they fighting? >> I was just outside. >> Are they physically fighting or just arguing? >> Yeah, they physically fight. >> Yeah, give me a minute. The complainant came running over at the house we're at talking about a physical two doors down. >> Yeah, but my sister >> Hold on. >> And she's 30 years old so how many just give us two more. But anyway Uh-uh I I could get out. But but after that she had on raised her voice and I asked her who she was talking to. 31 11 Bravo units responding can come code two. We're things are settling down here. I don't know after that after I kept asking her who she was talking to then she got up um like raised her hands at me and before you know it we was tussling in the front room that's all. Raised her hands at you did she hit you or just did she like I don't know what I don't know what I don't know what raised We was tussling back and forth. I grabbed I grabbed her hair before she even hit me. Okay. I don't know what tussling is. We both got long hair. So we on the on the on the couch right there back and forth that's it. >> They were trying to pull us um off each other. >> Yeah. I haven't even got a chance to explain the ex parte order when they came running over and said there was fighting inside of the uh So, it was like 20 people in there and I had to grab her and pull her. No, I have to tell them what to do with their signal 20 son and his side who does not meet Baker Act criteria, but they need to be They need to be They need to get an ex parte order. Okay. >> And then that's when I walked away and then that's when she had swung over me and start fighting punching me and stuff and pulling my hair and then we got to the couch and still pulling my hair. So, now I'm down three, and I'm going to be at the jail until I'm caught up. Respectful. But, she initiated the physical contact. Okay, I'm just letting you know. >> Yeah. >> So, because of that, she's going to be the one that gets arrested. Since she initiated it, okay? What? Yes, please. If you could take them and just upload them in the data work for me. So, um but I wanted to make sure her child was taken care of. So, I'm going to take her down to the Orange County Jail and get her booked in. Um Is this a normal occurrence? >> Yeah, it This always happens. >> Wow. I mean, I understand being a mama, you like having family around, but if they're going to cause you this much pain and suffering here, you might want to tell them to keep it somewhere else. >> She was then transported to the Orange County Jail, where she was booked and charged with child abuse.
