What's up everybody? Welcome back to today's episode of Karen's Getting Arrested. Today we're heading to an airport where a woman in a restricted area refuses to cooperate with staff and security. >> I don't have to talk to you. You are a a a brave in this thing. I don't have to talk to you. What you got on me? What you going to arrest me with? >> What you going to me? Do it. Lock me up. I can't wait [music] to go to jail. [laughter] What should have been a simple conversation soon becomes a scene that draws attention from travelers, airport employees, and law enforcement. As officers try to figure out what's going on, the situation just becomes harder to understand with every new claim and argument. A few simple answers could [music] have ended this entire encounter much sooner, but that's not the path she chooses. Stay until the end because this case includes public outburst, strange accusations, and a reaction that leaves many people shaking their heads. Now, let's see how it all began. We do not have any control over what goes on in the airport is beyond Our control. We do apologize for your calling me out. My name is yelling at passengers and 26. >> We understand. I believe you. Are you reboking them or no? >> No, we're going to >> Okay. >> Okay. Okay. [music] From D27, there is a L around corner right here that will definitely be said. >> Yeah. Okay. The airport at Kentucky is closed down. >> This has nothing [music] to do. >> Did you get your boarding pass on you? >> Yes. >> What? What's up with the behavior, man? >> Your boarding pass. Your boarding pass. >> The boarding pass [music] was he >> I was doing disrespect. Just your boarding pass, ma'am. >> It's all right if I walk this way. >> No, you're fine. You're good, bro. >> It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. I was I was catching on him. >> Okay. >> I was catching on him. >> I don't Okay. Well, I mean, you have to have some sort of boarding pass to get out here on the golf course. >> I don't have to talk to you. No, I don't have to talk to you. You are a a [laughter] a prisoner in this thing. I don't have to talk to you. >> Okay. Yes, you do. >> I know. No, I don't. No, I don't. No, I don't. No, I don't. >> Yes, you do. >> No, I don't. >> You do. >> No, I don't. >> Well, that didn't take long at all. We're only a couple of minutes into this encounter and already feels like she's trying to compete for the title of the world's most difficult airline passenger. Ma'am, you're standing in a restricted airport area. This is one of the few places where people are absolutely going to ask you questions and security is going to expect answers. At this point, this entire interaction is becoming more uncomfortable than anything else. Ew. On every level, it's just like ew. >> You needed boarding pass to come out here. >> I don't need to talk to you about nothing. >> Your behavior, >> you are not nothing. >> Your behavior is why I'm out here. >> My behavior. It's only him saying that. >> Everybody else is. >> Nobody said that. >> Okay. Where's Who said that? Where's your ma'am? >> Who if you could do that? Cuz I got my family on the phone. I've been talking to him and he's been trying to get with me since the fact that I denied him of the situation that I deny him with. >> He is mad that I don't want to be with him. >> Okay, ma'am. Not only him, but numerous [music] other people have told me already. >> No, it's numerous. >> I don't have to tell you that. Yes, you do. >> No, I No, I don't. >> Britney, call the cops because he is lying on me and he is lying about me doing anything. Britney, you've been on the phone the whole time. >> 704. You got another unit coming out here. >> And who he is. He cannot do nothing to me. >> So I can walk off when I want to walk off. >> Ma'am, where's your boarding pass? >> Britney, I don't have to show you nothing. >> Yes, you do. >> For what? What did I do? >> Okay. Who are you? >> What did I do? >> Do you have your ID? >> What did I do? Yes, I do. I have my ID. Here go my ID. >> That's not even your ID. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. >> I have my ID. Don't worry about it. >> Okay. Who Who served you all this alcohol? >> I got mad. >> Britney. >> Okay. >> Ah, yes. Here we go. As you can probably see, when someone cannot clearly explain their behavior, they sometimes start throwing out bigger and bigger claims to shift the focus. At [music] this point, the airport's getting an unexpected comedy show. Meanwhile, everyone else is just stuck dealing with the disruption. Man, the reality is that when one person creates this much drama, it affects everyone around them. Other passengers should not have sit through a scene like this while simply trying to travel. >> Britney, >> you're dropping your money. >> I am. >> Britney, stay on the phone and stay level. Girl, he's lying. >> Okay. >> My ID. >> We We got to find out who you are. >> I am who I am. >> Okay. You can find out who I am. >> Okay. >> You fat ass [ __ ] with his friends. But I'm trying to tell you, you about to get in trouble. >> Poor guy. >> Britney. >> Okay, I got you. >> You about to be in [ __ ] trouble. >> Okay, man. >> Yeah. That [ __ ] ain't hold no weight. >> Okay. >> You stupid to believe in him. >> Okay. Yeah, you are. >> You ain't got nothing ON ME. WHAT YOU GOT ON ME? WHAT YOU GOT on me? What you going to wrest me with? You got really wet. >> You just what? What I did? What I did? What I did? >> What I did? Talking to you in the wrong fat ass way cuz you fat as you with me because of your fat ass friend. Cuz he mad cuz I don't want to be with his ass. Do it. Lock me up. I can't wait to go to jail. [music] Get your fat ass [ __ ] You fat ass [ __ ] You and your fat ass brother. >> Okay, listen to me. >> Lock Are you going to listen to me? >> Lock me up, [ __ ] >> Are you going to listen to me? >> Lock me up, [ __ ] You can't >> give my [ __ ] >> ma'am. >> Give my [ __ ] >> Is she rewarded? >> Yes. >> No. No. No. >> Yes. >> I am. Give me my [ __ ] >> Give me my [ __ ] >> Okay. Ma'am, listen to me. >> Give me my stuff. >> Listen to me. >> Give my stuff. I don't have to talk to you. >> Yes, you do. >> No, I don't. >> No, I don't. No, I don't. No, I don't. I know my rights. I know my rights. I'm not so big. >> You're about to go to jail. Okay. >> Don't put Don't arrest me. >> Listen to me. >> So, arrest me. >> You don't care about it. [music] >> Are you going to listen to me or not? >> No. Give me my stuff. >> Okay. You've been denied boarding by Delta Airlines. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, I'm going to give you a ride to the main terminal because you're not listening by Delta. IT'S ME, Y'ALL. NO. GIVE ME MY STUFF, >> MA'AM. >> Give me my stuff. Give me my stuff. >> You're not a ticketed passenger, >> Britney. >> Wow. I don't know what to say, man. It's just hard to understand how some people can be so confident. Well, being completely wrong. She seems to have forgotten that an airport is not your personal living room where you can do just whatever you want. Delta has already denied her boarding, but somehow she's acting as if she just won a major victory. It doesn't look like she's fighting the system [music] anymore. It just looks like she's arguing with like reality itself. >> Take a picture of this [ __ ] >> Ma'am, >> thank you. >> You're not a ticketed person, sir. >> Give me my stuff. >> Listen to me. >> Give me my stuff. >> You You >> sir, >> excuse me, SIR. EXCUSE ME. Everybody in this terminal, excuse me. He is trying to arrest me over >> radio. Have another unit step it up. >> Him. HIS FRIEND IS BAD CUZ I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO them about anything. >> WE ARE GOING DOWN RIGHT NOW for this [ __ ] >> I don't know. >> Ma'am, it's him. It's him. He trying to do something to me. >> Ma'am, I'm not trying. >> Give me my stuff. >> Ma'am, >> give me my normal stuff. >> Listen to me. Okay. Are you going to listen to me? >> Oh, no. 3704 37. >> I don't listen to you. >> 704 radio. YOU KNOW MY DADDY. >> MA'AM. >> WHAT' you ask me for? >> Disorderly conduct. >> Okay. Where? >> Here. >> Where? >> You you you see you making a scene. >> Where? >> I just made a scene cuz you made a scene. >> You made a scene. >> No, I did not make a scene. >> You did. You was touching on me. You told me. >> Britney, I'm being arrested. Just call the cops. You obviously >> come on. Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand Put your hand behind your backyard. Please >> I'm being arrested. >> Put your hand Put your hand behind your back. >> behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Queen. >> Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Lying. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> We're lying. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> What is he arresting me for? >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Britney, >> put your hand behind your back. >> Oh my god. Uh, did she just tell her friend to call the police while she was already being arrested by the police? Now she suddenly turns the entire airport into an audience. Almost like this someone in the crowd is going to step in and save her. I mean, the reality is that no matter how loudly someone argues or how much attention they attract, it it's not going to change what's happening. Yelling louder does not make the situation disappear, and it certainly does not erase disorderly conduct. >> He's mad because Put your hand behind your back. >> I'm not telling them. Yes. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Get off of me. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put Put your hand behind your back. >> Get that ass off of me. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I'm not putting my hand behind my back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. No, >> I didn't. >> Put your Put your hand behind your back. >> I literally didn't do nothing. >> Put Put your hand behind your back. >> No, >> I didn't do nothing. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Let's talk about it. >> Let's put your hand behind your back. >> I don't want a problem. Let's talk. >> You already been a problem. So, put your hand behind your back. >> I didn't give it a problem. You gave a problem. Put your hand behind your back. You can't do a problem. back. Get your hand behind your back, man. >> Sir, can I tell you the truth? What is this? >> Can I tell you? >> Can I tell you the truth? >> Can I tell you? >> Can I tell you? He didn't get that until he came in close. Can y'all not recognize that? >> Can we talk about that? >> Yeah, let's talk. >> Can we talk about this? >> All right. >> He and him. Come on. Let's get and him is in cahoots. >> Come on. They are mad because I would not let them let me tell them about what's going on. What's going on is I would not let them let me tell them about what's going on. >> Okay. >> What's going on is him and his friend wanted to [ __ ] on me and I said no. >> Now we've somehow reached the point where the story involves a secret conspiracy and random people at the airport. Now, this is often what happens when someone realizes that they're losing an argument, but they refuse to accept it. Instead of addressing what's actually happening, the explanation keeps growing and adding new characters, new claims. I'm sure that many people watching would likely find her behavior difficult to sympathize with. >> Okay, it's a lot of natural. So, now I'm arrest. >> Yeah, >> that's fine. That's fine. I go I bubble I go freely with this [ __ ] >> You got >> I don't mind. >> I don't mind. Where do I go to tell the truth about me being sexually harassed about this [ __ ] >> What did I do? >> Why? >> Where am I going? >> Can I ask where am I going? >> 1708 radio. >> Can I talk to you? Come on. We going to walk upstairs. Please talk to me. >> I'm talking. >> Please. >> You're going to tell me everything once we get downstairs. >> It's not a downstairs. >> Is everybody okay? >> You're not understanding. >> You're not listening. >> You're not talking. >> He asked me to not say something about him turn. >> Okay. I told him that this [ __ ] got to stop about you guys. >> That doesn't have nothing to do with you guys organization. >> Listen to me. >> I I can't hear you. We have to sit in the car. I'm sitting right >> I'm sitting right I'm sitting right next to you. Okay. >> I didn't do nothing. >> I'm going to sit right next to you. You still going to say you going to sit next to me and I ain't do nothing. >> Mhm. >> You know that [ __ ] was r grimy. You know he grimy. >> Mhm. >> I didn't do nothing. >> He mad because I'm telling the truth about what he did. >> Somebody you was um sit down right there. >> It's somebody you uh was bought in a fight with. >> No. >> Go back up there real quick. >> I wasn't born in a fight with nobody. I'm trying to tell you something. >> All right. Go ahead. Sit down. >> Yes. But you have to sit sit in the car. Please just listen to me. Go >> ahead. Sit in the car. >> Please just listen to me. >> All right, I'm going to listen to you, but you have to listen to me. >> You're not listening to me. You still arresting me for something I didn't You're just detained. He needs to go. >> That's what I'm saying. I didn't do anything. >> Okay. You're just detained. That's it. >> I didn't do anything. >> Arresting is different from detain. Detained means that he needs to go investigate and see if you're really wrong. If you're not wrong, you're free to go. >> I'm not wrong. >> All right. So, go ahead. Sit down. >> Can you get me up? Cuz I'm short. >> Okay. Well, this might actually be the first calm conversation that we've had in the last 10 minutes. And uh honestly, credit to the officer here, man. His level of patience is is almost unbelievable. I don't know how he does this. But also, did you notice how she suddenly became cooperative? After pushing back against everyone, she now seems to switch into a calmer, almost customer service style of interaction. Is it does this lock? >> I can't do that. Not Not right now till we figure out what's going on. >> It hurts. It's tight. Mad tight. Yeah. Let me get my uh pants real quick. I love both of y'all. I don't care what goes on doing today. I know tomorrow we'll be friends. We're already friends. >> I think so. >> Mhm. >> Are we? >> Yeah, >> we are. >> I be in my [ __ ] right now. >> Long time no less. No time, no less. I like that. >> Come on, Miss Bar. Dude, stop trying to act like we friends and you a liar. >> We ain't friends. >> You're a liar, [ __ ] You're a liar. You're a [ __ ] ass liar. >> Okay, you start your phone. >> You're a [ __ ] ass liar. >> Okay. >> You're a [ __ ] ass liar. >> Okay. >> You're a [ __ ] ASS LIAR. YOU JUST WANT SOMEBODY TO go to jail. >> Sure. >> You just want somebody to go. >> Just go. Since you're right for me, please. Okay. >> What? What I'm saying? I'm saying [ __ ] ass dirt. >> Now the officers suddenly become her best friends. And then just 30 seconds later, they are back to being called the biggest liars again. Her attitude just keeps flipping back and forth so quickly there. It's kind of hard to keep up with, man. It feels like her mood changes faster than a a plane turning on a runway. Honestly, it becomes difficult to even follow what she's saying from one moment to the next. Well, the woman was arrested after causing a disturbance in a restricted airport area and repeatedly refusing to cooperate with airport staff and law enforcement. Based on the events shown in the body cam footage, she could face charges related to disorderly conduct, trespassing, resisting arrest, and failing to comply with lawful orders. But what do you think about this situation, right? Do you believe the arrest was justified or should the officers have probably handled it differently?
