A stolen Mazda was found sitting in a Taco Bell parking lot. I'm 81 with that AMA 997 and he's going to start taking off. >> We're going to be going crashing into >> going to Greenfield Greenfield. Ram squad heading to six national going eastbound. >> On National Avenue, the driver reached 95 mph coming within 10 ft of a pedestrian represent of that car. Eastbound National Crashed into an arch one. We're about 56 right now. Eastbound Nationals are 77. Traffic medium and roads are double wet. Officer, you're going to go up ahead. One of you behind you call it out. Still eastbound in national. We're doing about 75 mph. He's going in oncoming traffic right now. Officer Rick find out probably about we're past one Parkway National. We're doing about 90 mph. pretty clear with traffic right now. Uh it is a little slippery with the roads. However, we are being able to catch up to him right now. Patching that pursuit eastbound on national went northbound on 34. North on 34. >> We're now eastbound on Pierce. Eastbound on Pierce. He's going northbound now on 27. Northbound on 27. North 27 pretty close to us right now. Uh we're doing about 70 mph uh light traffic. There was another agency that throws Phoenix pursuing crash into a marked squad. It's also stolen vehicles. Reckless driving still northbound on 27 just with the red light at Clayborn. going into oncoming traffic at uh Wisconsin. This is going in oncoming traffic again. Uh and I think it's Wells. Still northbound though on 27. Oh, sorry. That was it. Looked disabled all of you. The front end damage should be moderate. >> Negative. No front end. A search of the Mazda revealed a methamphetamine pill and a loaded handgun. >> Just have a seat. We got a medical coming for you. All right. What happened? >> Yeah. >> Well, that's what happens when you run, I guess. But >> the driver was identified as a 24year-old man named Austin. Austin faced seven counts, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety, multiple fleeing and eluding charges, possession of a firearm as a felon, meth possession, and resisting an officer. Many of the charges also carried habitual criminality repeater enhancers. At his plea hearing, Austin agreed to plead guilty to three felony counts, fleeing and eluding, counts two and four, possession of a firearm by a felon, count five. The most serious remaining charges, including recklessly endangering safety and meth possession, were dismissed, but read in.
