Reason I'm going in your car's cuz I can smell the odor. Not only on you, but also in the car. >> My sister might have something in there as well. >> Hey, stop. She wrecked out. RC, starting 10-16. >> Can I call my girlfriend? >> Call your girlfriend to what? >> the car. >> Ma'am, your car is in two pieces. >> In policing, there's a recurring phenomenon that occurs very frequently. There's even a term that I've come up with it. It's called the chaos companion. With a passenger in the car, seems to want to interact with the officer and make the situation way worse for the driver. And most of the time, it's just a person spewing off nonsense or some fake laws or irritating the officer. But very rarely have I ever seen the chaos companion jump into the driver's seat of the car and initiate a pursuit. This is one of those. If a person drives in that shoulder like that and an officer catches them, you're almost guaranteed to have a ticket. It is so much better to just wait. And I see people do it so frequently. It is not worth it cuz you're almost guaranteed a ticket. >> 8446 10-24. >> 84. >> It's Illinois David Edward 50578. David Edward 50578 Illinois. It's a red >> Pontiac Grand Prix. I'm right here at the one on 55 southbound. >> Driver, Robert State Police. I stopped you for passing on the shoulder. My man, you got your driver's license? >> I got the license. I was taking her to the hospital. She was feeling too good. She was losing What? No, no, no. >> All right, go ahead. Step out for me. Step back here in the back of the car. Any weapons on you? Nothing in the car? >> No, sir. >> All right. So, so what's the deal? She was losing. Why don't you take her to the hospital back here? >> Because I had got off right here on my way here. She started saying she wanted to pull over cuz she was losing. So, I got off. Otherwise, I would have never gotten off. >> All right. You got an ID on you? Oh, yes, sir. All right, give me your ID. Well, traffic's backed up cuz of a crash up here, okay? >> Okay. right. Cuz I was going to turn around right here and go back to the hospital. >> Mr. Winfrey, your car? >> Uh it's a friend of mine. >> A friend of yours car? Okay. Let me ask you a question. You smoke And be honest with me cuz I can smell it on you. >> Yeah, before I got in the car I did, but there's no In the car you can There's in the car there's not any. >> No. >> So, I'm not a fan of conducting business at this proximity. You've heard me say that many times in videos. I've even showcased a video where the subject as soon as they got out of the car they pushed the trooper. So, conducting business at the front of the patrol car the officer standing at the right front quarter panel is the ideal manner. And if you notice that you heard the trooper ask if he smokes the green stuff because he smells the green stuff. He's looking at the tongue because a lot of times it will leave a brownish tinge on the tongue and it's just a little bit of information that the trooper can add to his investigation if he decides to investigate the person for driving under the influence. heard the driver, I'm not sure if you caught it, but he said the reason why he was driving in the shoulder was cuz he was heading to get this passenger to the hospital. Well, the trooper was very astute, knows his area, says, "Well, why didn't you take him to the hospital back there?" And the guy came up with something that didn't seem very plausible as why all of a sudden you want to turn around. Now, are there situations where people rush someone to the hospital in their own personal vehicle? That has happened. It's not advisable because most of the time if you want to get to the hospital you want to get there in the most expeditious manner and that would require breaking traffic laws and that's still not going to get you off. And if one was to decide to do that, calling 911 is going to be the best protection you have if you decide to make that choice. And I'm not suggesting you make that choice. That's the reason why they have ambulances and they know how to triage a person if they get there quicker. I mean, trying to make it to the hospital is a huge challenge, but at the very minimum a person would likely call 911 and this guy never called 911 so if she's in such a situation, never called 911 and passed the hospital. >> Where are y'all coming from right now? >> I was coming from the hotel. >> From the hotel? >> Yes, sir. >> You smoke back at the hotel? >> Yes. >> Okay. Let me have her stand right there. Who is she? Ma'am, you got an ID on you? >> Okay, I want to freeze this right here. If we look at this, this This has not been patted down. He has no driver license and the trooper's focus is directly inside of the vehicle and his story doesn't make a lot of sense. I know there are a lot of edits in these and if I missed the pat down, forgive me. But under the circumstances, this is not the most tactical position to be in for the trooper. >> Ma'am, you got an ID on you? No ID? How you know him? Who is he ma'am? Anything in the car that you know of? No? Okay. Hey, before I before I go back here, nothing nothing illegal on you? Put you Let me check and make sure you got nothing illegal on you. All right, be back with you just a sec. >> There was no pat down conducted cuz he conducted it after and the pat downs have to be methodical across the entire part of the waistband, up and down the legs, anywhere where a weapon can potentially be concealed. Methodical pat downs, safest way to go. >> D-4, D-26. >> On call at 4. >> All right, 10-19 over here, the one southbound. 401 I need a uh 10-30 for me out of Illinois, please. >> D-4. >> 03 02 William, Illinois. It's a ID card. >> D-4, 10-52. ID card is valid. >> 10-4, does he show to have a DL anyway? He He's He said he smoked right before he left the hotel room and he's uh I asked where he was coming from, he said the hotel. >> 401, 10-4. >> Go ahead. >> I'm not showing another driver's license or a state or anything. >> 10-4, so he just has an ID. >> 10-4. [snorts] >> 10-4, thank you. 401, I'll be out shortly. >> All right, Mr. Winford. Uh before I go in your car or anything else, I'm going to ask you I'm going to tell you your rights, okay? You're not under arrest right now, but you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one may be appointed you by the courts. If you decide to answer questions, you can stop answering questions anytime till you talk to an attorney or have an attorney present with you for the question. You understand your rights? The reason I'm going in your car is because I can smell the odor not only on you, but also in the car when I went back up there. That could be because it's on you. >> Yeah. >> It's It's a lot It's It's loud um and I can smell it. It's very strong, okay? Is there anything illegal in the car that I need to know about? >> No, sir. >> Nothing at all? All right. Is there any guns in the car? >> No, I don't >> It's not that you can't have a gun. I just want to know before I go sticking my hands right anywhere. >> No. >> Have a gun go off in, okay? >> No, sir. >> What about on her? Anything illegal you know about her? >> How did I know all that? >> But it's just your friend or girlfriend or >> a friend of mine. >> Just a friend of yours? Okay. All right. How do you know Was she from here? >> Uh yeah. >> Are you from here, too? >> Yeah. And I stay here now. >> Okay. So, you don't have a driver's license? >> No, sir. >> All right. So, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to What I'm going to do is I'm going to ask you to walk right up and stand right at the very corner of your of your car. That way, if anything happens behind us, you don't get hit, okay? >> All right. >> Yeah. Right up here on the front corner for me. >> I want to stop you here really quickly. Something that you may have picked up on is and it looks like where the passenger is sitting, the visor is down. I think those two lights might be the lights on the side of the mirror. May or may not be. I'm not sure. If you know what this vehicle is, but if that is, it's something that an officer will take note of. If the passenger is constantly looking and observing what the officer is doing. I mean, most people, if you're in the passenger seat, you're just going to sit there and wait to figure out what's happening. Again, it's not against the law, but from a tactical and safety perspective, when a person is paying particular attention to everything that you do and they're in the passenger seat, it's just something to take note of. And one thing that I noticed is that the officer has already requested an additional unit to assist him, which I think is a good thing cuz it looks like he's on his road to conducting a search. >> All right, ma'am. Here's what I'm going to ask you to do. Go ahead and jump off your telephone cuz I'm going to talk to you for just a second. Step out for me. Step right back here. All right. Let's see. I'm going to go ahead and place your purse up here. I'm going to tell you your rights, okay? You're not under arrest right now, but I want you to know your rights before I ask you any further questions, okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one may be appointed you by the court. If you decide to answer questions, you can stop answering questions anytime until you talk to an attorney or have an attorney present before further questions. Do you understand those rights? Okay. Is there anything illegal in your person? Anything illegal in the car that belongs to you? Anything illegal on you? Do I need to have a female officer come out here and check you? No. Nothing illegal on you. Nothing illegal in your purse. Because I'm going to search you, okay? Okay. So, the reason I'm going to search the car is because I can smell that strong odor coming out of the car. Also on him. You smoke Okay. So, I don't have anything against smoking I just don't You can't have it unless you have a medical card. Do you have a medical card? You don't? Does he that you know of? You don't know? How long have you known him? I'm going to let you stand right here while I look through your purse, okay? >> So, Trooper's well within his rights according to the Supreme Court. There's a case, Wyoming versus Houghton. It was a 6-3 ruling and it was very similar to this. It was actually an officer stopped the vehicle and there was a female who had her purse inside of the vehicle and the courts ruled that if there's probable cause to search the vehicle, then the officer is allowed to search things inside of the vehicle including the purse and it went to the Wyoming Supreme Court and then it went to the US Supreme Court and it was a 6-3, so not a slam dunk, but the officers are ultimately able to search bags inside of a vehicle for the contraband that they have probable cause for and under this circumstance, it's the green stuff. So, it's the Wyoming versus Houghton case which gives the officer the legal standing to be able to conduct that search of the person side. >> Where y'all from? You from Memphis West Memphis or Memphis? >> I'm from Missouri. >> You're from Missouri, okay. Whose car is it? You don't know? Who is Calvin Craft? >> My brother. >> Your brother? >> I'll give you his number. >> What are those scales for? Make sure you get what you pay for. I don't blame you. It's not your purse, is it? >> No, it's hers. It's in my purse. >> You would be surprised at the people that I ask about and they go, "Yeah, I got a little bit." You do? Do >> No, Sarah really Okay. >> Occasionally? Is that what your spoon's for? >> I >> You snort it? Or you shoot it? >> No, neither one. I smoke. >> You smoke it? >> When I do >> Okay. I was just wondering what the spoon was for and I could see the powder residue on >> It says that you'll see milk on that. >> Okay. Not a big deal, man. All right, so Here's what I'm having >> of my purse. >> Okay. Here's what I'm having you do. I'm having you walk up stand with him, okay? Yeah, walk walk around here and stand beside him. >> If we have backup in route, the safest matter to conduct the search is just to wait till backup gets there, give them the brief of everything that's going on before we have our head inside of a vehicle not observing the people who are outside of the vehicle that we're conducting the investigation on. >> It's going to be the party car. He's walking up. >> Hey, yeah, go ahead and hook him up. Getting back to your car and talk to him. He He come by me about 45 mph on the shoulder. And I get him out, I walk up around Mel Owen. I get him out, I start talking to him. He says, "Yeah, I smoked the dope tail back there." >> Things are starting to look worse for this person by the second. But before we see how this case pans out, I'd like to tell you about one of my favorite apps right now, Upside, who was kind enough to sponsor today's video. You see, Upside is a free app that gives you cash [music] back on everyday purchases like filling up your gas tank, buying groceries, or even dining. And over the past couple of months, I find myself using it everyday in my day-to-day life. Even to the point where I specifically use the app to find restaurants and stores that I'd like to use and get a better discount. And now I got my kids using the app, too. Plus, what I really love about Upside, it gives me cash back in addition to the points that I'm generating on my credit [music] cards. But I'm by far not the only person who's benefited from Upside. Because you see, as of right now, Upside has given back $1 billion to its users. To see how much you could earn, download the free Upside app and use promotion code Sergeant Curtis [music] to get an extra 25 cents for each gallon of gas on your first fill-up. That's an extra 25 cents per gallon on your first fill-up when you use the promo code Sergeant [music] Curtis. After downloading Upside by scanning this QR code or clicking on the link in the description. >> He's going They were going I don't know where they were going. And then as they get up here, he's passing on the shoulder. He says she she says she don't feel good, so he's taking her to the hospital. He's going to go ahead and turn around and go back to the hospital. >> Okay. >> No. >> No. Whatever. >> He's high on the kite. She's got her purse and we're probably fixing to look for some Cuz you got to do you smoke? Yes, she does it. >> But there's uh scales >> Oh, she she's looking when you >> Oh, yeah. >> Wherever you were digging on, she was looking for >> I'm fixing to find it. I'm I'm probably We're probably going to call it uh see if we can get a female officer. >> She uh yeah, what's Memphis PD have on her? >> I guess I can >> I'm going to read her rights and yeah, just get them back here and talk to them. >> Okay, couple of interesting things. A lot of communication between the driver and the passenger. Definitely something that I would have taken into consideration as far as what they're likely talking about, especially since we're conducting a criminal investigation. Now, this is something that I've mentioned in videos before and then you get to see it very, very clearly here. The backup officer arrives and the assumption of the backup officer is that a very methodical pat-down was made on the people that are at the scene. And again, these videos are edited and there may be a something that that I did not observe, but a methodical pat-down is what the assumption of an arriving officer often is. So, make sure you do them that way because your backup is going to believe that you did. >> I got it. >> Got it. There's a possibility that my brother's might be in this car. Just so you know. And if it is, it's in this one. I just wanted you guys to know. >> Okay. Stay up here on the corner for me. >> And my sister might have something in there as well. >> Hey! Hey! Stop! Put him in custody. >> Half of what you see, none of what you hear. If you look at her behavior before, calm, relaxed, leaning on the car, smoking a cigarette, conversation between them, just like that. And she was talking about having a firearm inside of the vehicle. And the troopers having to chase after. Half of what you see, none of what you hear. >> 440 anywhere. Female jumped in the car on me, and took off. We're uh almost to the bridge. 10-4. 460, she stopped in traffic. She may have wrecked. She did. She wrecked out. 460, she stopped at 10-16. [ __ ] She's going to be 10-7. He's leaking diesel. 460, start. Oh, [ __ ] Fire setting hit me West Memphis fire. We got a truck. She hits leaking diesel. She's in the car. Uh I don't know. It's far as they get his ambulance here quick. Do you need help with anything? Man, just have you got a fire extinguisher? Hey. No, not yet. Who Who Is he in the car with you? >> He's in there. >> Okay. >> You want me to back up in case it catches on fire? >> So, I hear a lot of mention of diesel and this is a really horrific wreck and a lot of mention of diesel. My understanding is that diesel, if that gets on the road, it makes it incredibly slick and there can be a huge pileups. To truck drivers and highway people who know more about the diesel fuel and what the huge concern of the diesel. I believe that a lot of it has to do with the road becoming incredibly slick, but if there are other reasons, please in the comment section, people like to learn this kind of stuff. >> Fire setting advised and she's in bad shape. Ma'am, stay still. Stay still. Stay still. Yeah. Yeah. >> Lay your head on that. Lay your head on that. Don't move. >> I thought she run over me. >> Why did she >> I don't know. She comes over the top like I mean we know why she's done it, but for what? Were y'all chasing her? >> Yeah. No. We was on a traffic stop with her. Hey, hey, hey, stay stay still. Stay still. Yes. >> Hey, 45 department is 10-19, correct? >> Fire setting we got to get to the intersection now. Hey, hey, stay Lis- listen, listen, listen, stay listen. Stay still. Yeah, 10-4. >> Should we try and get get her out? She ain't going to be still. >> No, no. Hey, hey, hey, listen, listen, listen. Stay still. >> No, she's got She's going to have a bad head injury. >> Hey, stay still. Stay still. >> Back in Stay still. Stay still. I don't know it. I'm surprised it didn't I thought she was going to come all the way out. Ma'am, stay still. Stay still. Please. Stay still. Stay still. Listen. You're going to cut yourself. Listen. Listen. Stop. Stop. No, that's her head into the She was on the side of the road just talking to >> Hey, stay stay stay right there. >> Stay where you're at. Stay where you're at. >> You got her. I'm going to go see if your other guy got gloves. >> Of course, we're going to have to let traffic come through so we can get EMS down here. >> While I do have some critique of the tactics, the compassion that the trooper is showing to this person who just ran from him and as he's running next to the vehicle almost ran him over. I mean, it was incredibly harrowing to watch. The compassion that he's showing to this person, you can hear in his voice that he cares. He doesn't want this person to be hurt. This is professionalism under the circumstances. You'll always hear me mention if I see tactics that can be better, but I'm also going to call out the things about policing that matter to show compassion to a person who's in this kind of circumstance when they just committed a crime that nearly injured you. >> Please help. >> Listen. Listen. NO, MA'AM. SIT STILL. Sit still. Sit still. Listen. You're going TO HURT YOURSELF EVEN WORSE THAN YOU ALREADY ARE. SIT STILL. Sit still. Go ahead, Tim. Try to control this female. She's She's trying to climb out of the car or she's going to have a But, she wrecked on her own. She hit a truck trying to run up the shoulder. >> Hey, try not to hit this metal. This metal's going to cut you. Just hold still till the ambulance gets here. She's got a bad >> on her arm, but >> Yeah, I've seen that. >> Can they not block this off? Get an ambulance to come through this way? >> Is that you? >> Yeah, that's my car. >> Okay. Okay. >> I told you to just hold up. Tell him we'll get medical here. Hey, just stay still. Stay still. I know. I know you're really bad, you know. >> For city if the EMS can >> bridge back down. They come the wrong way on 55. >> Touch your camera. >> It'd probably be easier for them to get to us. Just chill out. You're hurt. You got to wait. Wait for the ambulance to get here. Make sure you don't get hurt any worse. >> Just hold still, okay? >> Hey, uh see if I can break chain and cut that key off. Do they got power? I don't want them to need knives. >> For city, advise uh West Memphis fire that she hit a truck that's hauling hazmat. The truck looks to be fine, but he is leaking diesel all over the highway. >> I notified the county I notified the county to notify the environmental guy. That's the diesel. >> 10-4. >> Hey, what's he hauling? He's right there. Hey, hey, don't move. Don't move. >> That thing's hot, you know. >> Don't move. Listen to me. Don't >> Watch me. >> Don't move. Don't move. >> The thing is hot, sir. >> Okay. There's weights. It says leaning. Okay. >> So, I need to get something to drink. >> Look, I I moved it where you you won't touch it anymore, okay? >> I I'm not going to touch it anymore. >> 10-4. Uh when you get on 55 and start coming toward us, you'll have to get on the shoulder, but come up to around the one you're just before the the one exit on the right hand shoulder road where there's going to be several bags laying there. Please just stop and with those bags there's going to be evidence in there. Um It is one reason she was running. >> 4-10 male still out there. Do you copy? >> No, he's 10 He's uh 10-15. >> 4-30 B, 4-1. If you can tell me that VIN and number off that auto car. >> 4-30 there's Hang on just a sec, man. Hey, come over here and just make sure she doesn't try to get out. 4-30 the driver said it's going to be hazardous waste. I don't believe it had the number on it. It's just got dangerous uh placards on it. I don't know if it's got a I don't see a number on it. It's a Crystal Clean Cleaning Supply truck. Uh he said it's got hazardous waste on it. I'm not >> Headphones. >> Hey, [snorts] hey, hey. Man, why would you do that? I'm not going to have your phone out. You know there's evidence, right? >> know if you caught that, but there was a person who's on the scene, a witness or a citizen who's standing there, and he takes out his phone and takes a picture of this woman who's laid out in this horrific wreck and decides to take a picture. And the trooper caught it. And he says, "Well, now I'm going to have to take your phone." And what he's going to take his phone for is for evidence, because this person is not trying to be the best of humanity. That's the worst of humanity. I mean, what's the purpose of taking that type of picture? Don't be that person. No one who's in this horrific wreck wants to be laying upside down with some stranger standing there to take a picture for their social media or to share with their friends. So, I'm glad the trooper took the phone. He says he's going to take it for evidence, and that's evidentiary value. See what happens. >> I'll make a call later. I'm going to give it back to you. >> 4-1 and it's going to be right before the bridge 4-8. Fire department and another one out over >> I think most of it went in the grass, but 4-30, when you get a chance, that individual that I ran, the the male subject, will you run him see if he's got any 54s, if he's a convicted felon. >> No problem. >> Hey, I think her ID is going I don't know for sure, but I think it's going to be in that purse. >> On the passenger room? >> Yeah. That's when she ran when I pulled that that out. >> What? >> Can I call my girlfriend to get >> No, you cannot Can you She called your girlfriend to what? >> To get the the car. >> The car? Ma'am, your your car is in two pieces. >> It don't even have back tires on. The back tires are stuck under that truck right there. >> Why? >> Because you hit it. You were in a really bad accident. >> I wasn't driving. >> [laughter] >> You're the only person in the car. >> Where's Eric? >> He's not in the car. See, ma'am, >> No. >> No. We we get this moved out of the way, we can get her out, but she's she's going to have a she's bleeding out of her left ear pretty bad. >> No, it's fine. >> And uh >> It's not underneath. >> So, I don't know if you heard that, but she's bleeding out of her left ear, and then she said, "I wasn't driving." She lost consciousness, she regains consciousness, and then she says that she wasn't driving the car. Now, I'm not a medical professional. Medical professionals, please chime in about the seriousness of a person in the air because I've been on calls and seen people who they seem like they're okay one minute, and then they have a brain Those are horrific calls to be on, and I'm wondering if that's a concern here. I imagine that it is, but I would prefer if a medical person was more specific in the comment section. Thank you. >> Sir, will you please let him talk to me? >> No, ma'am. No, ma'am, I want you to stay still, okay? >> You need to try not to move no more than possible cuz you can have some severe injuries. >> I'm not driving. >> Come on. >> I'm not. I'm telling you I'm not. Sir. >> What's that? >> Can you guys come up here? >> I seen Listen Listen to me. Listen to me. >> My boot itches. I can't >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> You see all this? This is razor sharp. If you lean it forward, you're going to cut yourself, hurt yourself worse. So, be careful. >> I thought she was going to be under the truck. >> That's what I thought. When I When she come by me and I seen her spin, I jumped out and I seen y'all come and all that I seen was just that crumpled mess. I thought that was the whole car. >> Yeah. >> Answer that and then I want you to delete that picture. You're hurt, right? >> Is this Are you okay? >> Who? >> Eric. >> Yes. >> Can I see him? >> No. >> Sir. May I please see him? >> No, you cannot. >> Is he okay? >> He He's fine. >> So, why can't I see him? >> Cuz right now you're under arrest, okay? >> For what? >> For For felony fleeing, for one. >> I didn't flee. >> For Listen to me. For battery on a police officer, number two. >> What did I do? >> You dragged me down the road about 30 ft. >> I didn't see you, sir. >> You didn't see me when you jumped in the car? You said my sister may have something in here and you jumped in the car and took off with me trying to keep your get your keys? >> No, sir. >> Okay. >> Can I talk to my boyfriend, please? Sir. >> What? >> Can I talk to my boyfriend? >> No. >> Hey. Put your Put your arm back. >> Hey. Hey. >> I'm going to have to handcuff you. >> Hey. >> He wants to make >> I'm going to wait till the EMS gets here cuz when when that comes open, she's going to try to run. >> No, I won't. No, I won't, sir. No, I won't. >> Here. Here. >> That's the reason she's where she's at. >> I won't run. >> Okay, then keep both hands right there. >> Well, the EMS unit is right there. >> Hey, watch your head. >> Oh, I'm sorry. >> I got it. >> Come on. Hey, come on. Sit down. >> Give me your hand. Come on. You got it. >> All right. >> Hey. Now lay down. Lay down right here. >> Sit down right there on your >> Sit down right here. There we go. Cuz you've got to >> You okay? >> Sit down on your butt. >> I I don't want you to get it hurt any worse than you are. >> Sit down on your butt. Put your feet out in front. >> Hey, baby. I'm right here. I don't I don't have a headache. >> You You got Come now. You did You hit your head. >> Where? >> I don't know where you hit. >> No, I do not. You guys are lying. >> Just hold still. >> I don't have anything on my head. >> Okay. Well, if you didn't, you're lucky. You were laying in the back seat of the car. Are you hurting anywhere? >> No, sir. >> This is the only place No, she got it on that arm. Oh, no. On the gulf. >> Oh, I see that now. >> She got some on that arm. >> No, she had coming out of her ears. >> This here right here. >> I don't know if it's that ear or if it's her face or what. >> Must pulled your ear vein out. That's where >> See the ambulance. Of course they start me a small, please. And I'll check with this guy see if the ambulance's preference for a large. Like what's your name? >> Brittany. >> Brittany what? >> Done. >> Brittany >> Yes, sir. >> What's your date of birth? >> Yes, sir. >> Where are you from? >> Missouri. >> She's from Missouri. You see if you can find something on her. It's going to be a couple hundred yards before. It'll be on the right side in the grass maybe on the partially on the concrete, but it's a probably 200 yards before the exit. >> Ow. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Say what? I don't know where they went. They were They were in front of us. >> I'm going to do a other commercial vehicle. It's a box truck. >> Hey darling, are you hurting? >> Okay, awesome. >> Thank you. Man, I appreciate you. >> Don't worry about it. Yeah. >> How are you Are you from here? >> What exactly happened? >> Okay. Man, I I appreciate your help. I I really do. Have a good one. >> No seatbelt? >> Nope. No seatbelt. She was completely She was all the way in the back back here. She got some severe on her arm from the exhaust pipe. And she was out and she was I thought she was when when I ran up here. >> I'm sure y'all are going >> I'm sure y'all are going >> Has anybody uh Has anybody got an idea where they are? >> No. Stop. That's it. He ran from the police car. He pulled up on the scene. I had him in his car. We got him in custody. She jumped in on a traffic stop, took off, and ran from me. Forest City's greeting me at the immediate after I got to transport this female to the immediate. I make sure she's okay. Yeah. She She has no idea where she's at. Hey, can you open that trunk for me? >> You hear me say this frequently, it's one of my terms. Are you in the shape to be in the fight of your life? And that's for all first responders. Because first responders do a lot of different things [clears throat] that require them to be in extreme situations. Sometimes you have to run into a burning building, and sometimes you have to run out of a burning building. But only you can answer that question. I can't answer it, only you can. Are you in the shape to be in the fight of your life? >> Yeah, 10-4. Just uh Start looking around there. Quite a bit of stuff. I'm not sure what I was going to be in. I'm possibly She was going down 11, and ran over a couple of them. 10-4. Just uh where they were at with something so we can go back and look. >> I'm trying to find all the charges and it looks like the male was charged, but I don't see any charges for the female. The original video is pinned, but it looks like a booking document for the male. Refusal to submit to BAC, no driver license, improper lane change, false evidences of title and registration, possession of firearm by certain persons, and DWI unlawful accident. It looks like that's what the male's charges were. It looks like the female was transported to the hospital and there's something that mentions that she had a felony warrant out of another jurisdiction. This is one of the situations where I talked about the chaos companion. Half of what you see, none of what you hear. People can flip on you in just a matter of seconds. In policing, it's something that has to be taken into consideration. It makes an excellent case for taking away the keys when you're dealing with people that you might be conducting an investigation. Shout out to the trooper for staying relatively calm under the circumstances. I mean, incredibly dynamic and showing compassion to the person. Hopefully, this person makes better choices when they go forward in life. Not a wise choice and it looks like she paid some significant consequences. On that note, it leads me to the next coin, which is about rescue when we saw the fire department doing incredible rescue. And it's actually one of the unsung heroes of our armed forces and I'm really excited to share this coin. I think this tilt has been working. So, this is US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Proud tradition, worthy mission. The US Coast Guard is a phenomenal, phenomenal group of people. On the other side, you saw it honor, respect, devotion to duty, US Coast Guard Auxiliary. With the coin, I received a great letter. In the letter, there were so many great things about tactics. The letter was pictures and everything, but there's something that stood out in this letter and the person said, "What I really care about is that you shout out the men and women of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Boat Operations Flotilla serving the public and active duty in Alabama." The Coast Guard does phenomenal work and they are one of the unsung heroes of the US Armed Forces. The amount of illegal pharmaceuticals that the Coast [clears throat] Guard actually gets annually would blow your mind. And a lot of times, you don't hear about it. So, it's a great opportunity to shout out the US Coast Guard and I'm so happy that I received this coin for the channel. If you're considering going into the military, the Coast Guard would be a phenomenal choice, and that's coming from a Marine. Shout out to the US Coast Guard and all the great people from Alabama. I actually trained in Alabama quite a few times. If you like this kind of content, like the video, subscribe to the channel. It seems like a lot of you watch, but you're not subscribed. The details are already set. We're just waiting to post it, and it's going to be coming soon. So, look for that. That's the Dot Legacy Scholarship.
