TURN AROUND. >> NO, I AM NOT. I'm on top of my game, [ __ ] >> In today's body cam, deputies are responding to a domestic disturbance call. They arrive thinking that all they had to do was just sort out a simple disagreement, but what they don't count on is the problems caused by the actual caller. The more this woman talks, the worse it gets. Every attempt by the deputies to help her results in insults, another argument, another excuse. And by the end of this encounter, she's gone from calling for help to being put into a patrol car, all while trying to explain why none of this is really her fault. >> On April 12th, 2026, deputies in Florida respond to a residence. A woman called 911 after an argument with a housemate turned physical. Here's what the deputies did next. When Deputy Savage arrives, he finds the 911 caller, Lashonda, standing in the front yard. She's highly agitated, and as she explains her side of the story, she quickly admits to initiating physical contact. >> They don't all need to be here if they're only going to be here to stand and shake their heads or say stupid [ __ ] to me because I can do that, too. I can put on a uniform and say stupid [ __ ] to people to just make them pop off if that's what's needed. >> All right. What happened? >> Last night when we left when we came in the house, the car locked, and I said, "You're going to have to get my keys out of the car." Like you sat there and did something and the car locked. He said, "I can get the keys out of the car in the morning." So then this morning, I wake up and I said, "Hey, get the keys out of the car." He says, "You can call the insurance." I said, "You can't call the insurance. Insurance stuff is in the car." I So I said, "You need to get the keys out of the car or call the locksmith." He jumped up and he started hollering and yelling, and I'm of course going to scream and holler back because I'm just a loud person, and everybody knows that. So I screamed and hollered for a second, and then I was like, "You know what? This." I went in the house and I locked all the doors all the way around. He yanked this door back open, but when he yanked it open, I pushed him back out of my room and he knocked me down onto the tile floor. When he comes out here, I reached like this to grab something from him and he says, "That's what you get, you stupid you you you're stupid. You always And I'm not always doing anything. I don't always lock my keys in my car. He did that. >> Okay. Where's he at? >> I don't know. >> So, he came inside, you pushed him back out. >> Yes. >> All right. Then, you guys came outside, arguing, arguing. You try to grab something, he pushed you to the ground. >> Yes. >> All right. Will you fill out an affidavit form? >> No, I will not. I just want him to stop being stupid. Like, that's stupid to keep doing stupid to me. >> And you're not willing to write it on a piece of paper, correct? >> No, cuz don't nobody want to press charges on him so he could be like, "It's your fault that I don't have anything." Like, no. >> Okay, so what I don't understand, first right off the bat, man, we hit the ground running with this one. The first thing I don't understand is she's not wanting to press charges or fill out a formal anything. Well, then why did she call? Wh- Why Why did she call? I d- I don't understand. Wouldn't you call the police for help and actually accept the help? I mean, am I crazy? Like, is there something else that they can do besides, you know, haul him off or press charges? Now, she did admit to putting her hands on him first. She did admit that. But, could it be argued self-defense? Like, could she potentially argue that she was in fear for her safety so she shoved him out and locked the door? He did push her down to the tile. This sounds like a really, really messy domestic dispute right now. Uh she seems clearly upset. She locked her keys in the car. Maybe he was trash talking her a little bit, calling her stupid. But, clearly she is not calm. Clearly, she's not calm and I have a very strong feeling if she doesn't calm down, she's going to be getting in some trouble herself. Just My powers of observation are saying that that might be coming up here soon. >> I would like to talk to him if he come by. >> He hung up on me. >> Can you call him back? >> He's not going to answer. He's just going to keep doing the same game. >> Please leave your message for >> He just gave me a cigarette. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. It's like >> I don't have a cigarette. >> Can you open my car so I can just have a cigarette? >> All right, he's not answering now. >> Until he does, go and do stupid [ __ ] like this. He'll go and disappear and so I guess it's my fault. >> Out of sheer frustration, she actually demands to be taken to jail. >> Take me to jail. >> Well, I would like to talk to him. >> If you were still in here, you could hear that I've told the whole truth. I put I told you I pushed him and then he knocked me down. >> Please leave your message >> Can you please >> Why on earth would she say take me to jail? Why does she want to go to jail right now? This is Why would you tell the police to take you to jail? Does she think she's only going to be safe in jail? I'M TRYING TO BE on her side here. Lady, I'm trying to be on your side. I understand like if you pushed first, if you thought you were afraid, maybe your boyfriend really is an [ __ ] He's not answering his phone so we don't have his side yet. I get it. I'm trying to be on your side but you're making this really, really hard. Why did you ask them to take you to jail? Why? Why? And at this point, it sounds like the only reason why she wants her car unlocked is so she could smoke a cigarette. >> Can you please just open the car so I can have a cigarette? Okay, I'm getting ready to get in the other car and drive off. If you can't hear me, I need a cigarette. >> You're not free to leave. >> Well, can you open my car so I can have a cigarette? >> No. >> I I'm going to leave too then. He can leave, I can leave. >> Well, then I'm going to put you in the car. >> I need a cigarette. I want a cigarette. >> So, this is how this is going to work. I'm not obligated to open your car. >> I don't I don't care. I just want a cigarette. >> Lashonda is officially detained after admitting to domestic battery, yet she is angrily demanding the officers use their lockout kit to get her a cigarette before she will comply. >> Well, you're not getting it right now. >> Well, I'm being held for something for nothing, really. This is stupid. To constantly be told that I'm doing something or causing But now you're standing here making me cause something cuz I just want a cigarette. >> Okay. Well, I'm not obligated to open your car right now. >> And I'm not obligated to have to stand here. I haven't done anything. I CALLED FOR HELP. >> [laughter] >> YOU'RE NOT OBLIGATED TO OPEN MY CAR and get me a cigarette, THEN I'M NOT OBLIGATED to stand here, either. Oh, honey, you're missing a very important part here. They are the law. You are not. >> [laughter] >> I understand you need a cigarette. I mean, I don't smoke, right? I've never smoked. I've got asthma. Shouldn't smoke anyway, plus I can't stand the smell. Anyway, shouldn't smoke cigarettes, but I understand needing something to calm down. Like if it was me, if I had called the police because I was in the middle of a domestic dispute, and I was super worked up, I'd be like, "Guys, guys, I need a cookie." "I need a cookie. I need a piece of cheesecake. I need a cupcake. I need something. I need something. I need I need a slice of something good. Give me that good good cake. I need something to calm me down." Like that WOULD BE ME. THAT WOULD BE ME. I'd be like, "All right, well, we could we could talk about We could talk about everything that happened over a cupcake. Swiss cake roll. Give me a freaking Swiss cake roll or a nutty bar. GIVE ME SOMETHING." >> [laughter] >> "GIVE ME SOMETHING SWEET AND I'LL CALM MY ASS down and we can talk like civil people." But no, she's she's demanding a cigarette, so I get it. I get it, lady, but you do not have in this circumstance, okay? In this circumstance, you do not have the same rights as law enforcement right now because they're there to help you, and you are not complying. So, better start, otherwise your wish will be granted. You'll go TO JAIL. >> FOR HELP. >> YOU just told me you pushed him. >> Whatever. >> Because he opened his door. >> No, he didn't open his door. He opened my door. And he locked the keys in the car. >> Okay. How often does he stay here? >> I don't know. Like >> Lashonda explains that the victim lives in the same home, but she didn't want him inside. >> So >> But the officer informs her the man has a right to enter his own residence. >> Okay. >> No, he cannot >> Okay, yeah. I was trying to be on her side, but yeah, if it's his home, again, can't she argue she was in fear for her life? It doesn't matter if someone lives with you or not. If you think they're coming in to hurt you, you should be able to lock them out, right? You should be able to push them and lock them out. I'M TRYING TO BE ON HER SIDE HERE. Let me know if I am like totally off base here. Let me know down in the comments. But if she says that she was in fear for her safety, does that negate the pushing and locking him out? Like that's that's what I think. That's what I think. But also, I'm not in law enforcement, so I don't know. >> No, he cannot. If I If If the locks are on THE DOOR, YOU CANNOT do that. You can't break a door more than what it's already broken. That's so stupid to say. >> All right. Well, you cannot go anywhere. >> Officer Howard, can you please just help me have a cigarette so I don't have to have anything to say back then? >> I do have a piece of candy. >> I don't want that. I need a cigarette. >> I have a piece of candy. >> I don't want that. I WANT A CIGARETTE. >> [laughter] >> OH MY GOD. I'M LIKE TRYING NOT TO LAUGH at her because clearly she's upset, but come on, it's a little funny. It's a little funny. Nobody's got a cigarette for you, but they got candy. [laughter] I would have BEEN LIKE, "I'LL GIVE YOU THE CANDY." GIVE ME THE CANDY. GIVE ME THE CANDY. I NEED TO CALM DOWN. I need TO CALM DOWN. >> [laughter] >> HE'S GOT A CIGARETTE ON HIM. >> HE'S JUST SITTING here with me just to bother me. I just need a cigarette. So then I won't have anything to say to the officer to make me do something and me be doing something wrong. >> Lashonda seems to have shifted from blaming the victim for her actions to blaming the police. >> Okay, so just leave me alone then. If y'all can't help me open the car, just leave me alone. >> Well, I can't do that cuz you told me that you pushed him. Can I call him? >> You I gave you his number. >> I'm trying. I called him. It went straight to voicemail. Why is it right now I only have your side of the story? And you told me you pushed him. >> Okay, Officer Howard, I didn't push him. I pushed the door open. I pushed the door There's towels on my door, so I pushed the door back closed. There's towels at the top of the door. >> Lashonda seems to think changing her story and telling it to an officer she hasn't been screaming directly at might change the fact she's already loudly admitted to assaulting the victim a number of times. When he finally picks up Lashonda's call, the officer is able to ask him what happened. >> He wants you to answer the phone because as of right now, they can't leave me alone because I told them the truth that I pushed you as you're pushing into my room. >> I didn't do anything. >> Hey, it's Deputy Savage with the Sheriff's Office. You're not in any trouble. >> Man, the smartest thing you was doing was not pick up the damn phone. And now he picks up the phone and all he said was, "Man, I didn't do anything." >> [laughter] >> Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Oh man, shouldn't have answered the phone. I wonder if he's going to come back. >> She told me that she pushed you, okay? I just need to talk to you so I can figure out what happened because as of right now, I only have her side of the story. >> I just got out of there quick. Once you get like that, I just leave. All I wanted to do all I did was go in there to get my phone. But when I tried to go in there to get my phone, like >> He stole my phone. >> I went in there to get my phone. And she seen me get my phone, she was about to rush me and start to push me and uh fight me and all kind of stuff. All I did was grab my phone and she was following me doing all that herself. I didn't rush out. I didn't go towards her. All I did was try to get my phone and leave out. When I left out of the door, >> No. >> I closed the door behind me. She pushed the door back open and she tried to rush me and tried to take my phone out of my pocket. So when I knocked my phone on the floor on on ground, I grabbed my phone. >> It's not his me. >> And then he tripped over that scooter that you see right there. Hit her head. >> You hit your head? Or you You said you tripped. >> He's lying. He did not hit his head. I did >> When the officer mishears the victim, Lashonda angrily contradicts her own story that she was pushed to the ground in order to call him a liar. >> Okay, and after that I just walked away. >> Oh, she tripped is what you said? >> Yes, she tripped over a scooter that that and I I got my phone and I just I got out of there. >> Got you. >> The victim confirms that Lashonda rushed him, pushed him, and bit him. Legally speaking, that establishes probable cause for a domestic battery arrest. >> I woke him up and I was like, "Hey, you got to open the car." >> When the officer returns, Lashonda asks him for her cell, not realizing she's about to be on her way to one. >> You have my phone? >> Yeah, but turn around. >> I'm not I'll turn around. I'm not. >> You are. YOU >> NO, I AM NOT. >> OH, YES, you are. >> No, I'm not. I'll turn around. >> Stop. >> No, I am not. That's not fair. >> Hey. >> I am not. That's not fair. No. >> Relax. >> No. >> Wait. Let me get my cigarettes first. I I You are both an You are both No, DON'T BOTHER ME. GET OFF. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT. GET OFF OF ME. >> GIVE ME YOUR HAND. >> I cannot. You're on my Can you please get off my chest? >> Give me your hand. >> You're hurting me. >> Give me your hand. >> You're hurting me. >> Give me your hand. >> Get off of me. >> No. GIVE ME YOUR HAND. >> STOP. HE'S ON MY BACK. STOP. LET ME GET THE GET HER OFF OF ME. >> NOPE. IT'S too late for that. Nope. You're going to get arrested and tased. >> I'm not going to >> Yes, you are. >> Stop. >> And if you kick me, you're going to get tased. >> Do you You're on my ankles. They're swollen, clearly. There's a bracelet that it's Can you take the bracelet off? That hurts. Can you take this off? >> All right. >> Ow. >> What if you quit? >> No, you quit. You're not hearing me. >> Roll towards me. >> No, take this off. You're idiot. I told him THE TRUTH. I SAID I PUT >> Although the audio here is muted, Lashonda's defense against her arrest is to loudly confess the exact details of her crimes for everybody, including the police, to hear. >> WHAT? >> WHY? >> WHY CAN'T YOU BE A LYING WOMAN? I HAVE TO GIVE ME MY PHONE. HE won't give me my phone. >> What? >> I didn't do anything. Don't lie. Y'all think that's stupid. You're going to lose yourself. I won't think you're going to make it because you're with him. >> Stop. >> You stop. Can you please take this off of me? >> NO. >> I WON'T. >> Lean against THE CAR. >> A BRA OR ANYTHING ON. >> OKAY, now I don't know that. >> You do, man. You can see my boobs. >> Yeah, baby. You didn't have to tell us you're not wearing a bra. We can see. Man, she obviously wasn't expecting to get tackled down to the ground cuz yeah, they were probably like smooshing her titties in the ground and all that. That probably hurt. Not even going to lie, that probably hurt. They're throwing her around. They need to be careful, otherwise she could pop out of there. That little tank top she's wearing not really holding them in very well, so they might get a show if they're not careful. >> Screw you. >> You stop. GET THE [ __ ] OFF OF ME. You're pulling my pants down. >> Stop. >> If you hit one of US >> YOU'RE PULLING MY PANTS DOWN. >> IT'S NOT GOING TO GO WELL. >> I don't give a [ __ ] GET OFF of me. >> Get in the car. >> Stop. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAG ANYBODY AROUND. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAG ME AROUND. >> GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME. GET IN THE car and >> I'll get IN WHEN I'M DONE. IF you touch me, I'm going to kick her. Let go of me, y'all. >> Why you making this so difficult? >> BECAUSE I JUST NEED MY PHONE. I'M NOT KICKING HER, so you can lie if you want to. >> Move your leg or I'm breaking it. >> If you break my leg, I'm going to charge you. >> Go ahead. >> Y'all [ __ ] you, you stupid piece of [ __ ] That's [ __ ] YOU KNOW THAT. YOU'RE NOT TALKING TO ME, THAT'S [ __ ] I AM IN THE CAR. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME IF I NEED TO GO TO EMS. MY HEAD WAS BUSTED ON CEMENT AND TILE. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. WHEN YOU CAME UP, THERE WAS DIRT DOWN MY BACK. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME. YOU DIDN'T ASK ME THAT. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> GIVE ME MY PHONE. I need to unlock it. >> You want me to bring him all over here? >> SHE CAN'T WALK. SHE AIN'T GOT NO NO CAN YOU PLEASE >> WHAT? Why doesn't mama have no feet? >> [laughter] >> DAMN, GIVE THIS WOMAN A CIGARETTE. MAYBE SHE'LL CALM DOWN. She is wound real tight right now. I know that she did wrong, okay? I know she did wrong. You don't got to tell me in the comments. I know she did wrong. But, I mean, I could kind of see some logic in what she's saying. She's like, "I told you I fell and hit my head. You didn't ask me if I needed an ambulance." I mean, I'm right there with her. Like, maybe they did and we just didn't see it because it was cut on this original body cam, which also as always, original body cam videos are linked down in my video description. That way you can go watch them uninterrupted. Also, go show support and give these body cam channels a follow. So, maybe it was cut in the parts that we saw, but she's saying that like they didn't even ask her if she needed EMS or anything when she clearly told them that she fell and hit her head. Like, she fell and then her boyfriend, husband, whoever confirmed that when they were on the phone with him, he said, "Yeah, she tripped over the scooter and fell." But, they didn't ask if she if she needed any sort of assistance. Are they required to? I don't know. But, I do find it quite interesting that this police officer says, "Move your leg or I'm going to break it." Like, I don't Officer dude, deputy dude, I don't know if you're allowed to say that, okay? And you make veiled threats like that? Like, "If you don't move your leg, I'm going to break it." Deputy dude, I don't know if you're supposed to say those kind of things. Just saying. I don't know. I don't know that might be a bit much, but she's clearly out of control. Maybe they should just give her a damn cigarette. Just give her a damn ciggy and then maybe she'll calm her ass down. >> Please, just let me use the phone. TAKE THE PASSWORD OFF SO SHE CAN OPEN IT. >> NO, you don't get a phone call or ticket. >> I'm not asking YOU FOR A PHONE CALL. I SAID TAKE THE PASSWORD OFF SO SHE CAN OPEN IT. >> How do I do that? >> I HAVE TO TOUCH IT, YOU [ __ ] IDIOT. >> you keep talking to me like that, I'm just going to >> Well, WHY ARE YOU SITTING LOOKING AT ME LIKE YOU'RE CONFUSED? IF YOU'RE CONFUSED AS A DAMN CHILD, YOU SHOULDN'T BE WEARING A BADGE. IF I CAN'T USE MY HAND, HOW AM I GOING TO OPEN THE PHONE? >> I DON'T KNOW. HOW ARE YOU? >> Get the [ __ ] out of my face. >> Move your leg. >> GET THE [ __ ] OUT OF MY FACE. >> MOVE YOUR LEG. >> YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT. YOU LOOK LIKE A CHILD, [ __ ] >> Now that she's in handcuffs, Lashonda's demeanor shifts from uncooperative to completely belligerent. She threatens to sue the department despite having just confessed to battery on camera. >> Yes, but after how it came up, I ASKED FOR EMS. ON THE PHONE, THEY ASKED ME THAT, and you didn't ask me [ __ ] NOR DID THEY COME. >> IF YOU asked on the phone, they would have been here. >> THEY I DID ASK ON THE PHONE. I I WANTED EMS. I WAS PUSHED AND SHOVED ON MY [ __ ] HEAD TWICE. I HIT MY HEAD ON CEMENT AND CONCRETE AND that scooter that didn't work. >> Okay. >> Can you please turn the air on? >> What? Your head's HURTING YOU? >> YES, I NEED THE AIR ON. I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO YOU OTHER THAN EVERYTHING THAT YOU ASKED ME TO DO. TURN THE AIR ON. TURN THE AIR ON. ALL RIGHT, THIS TIME I'M GOING TO SUE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION. YOU answered the question. This time I'll get a lawyer because this time it's [ __ ] lawsuit. I should have went on and let y'all tase me again and I would have really had a case. Y'all are wrong, but you can go ahead and make the wrong call. Stupid piece of You hear it. I tried to go back in >> You can't go anywhere. >> Now you put me in handcuffs. You are full of [ __ ] Do you have kids, mother Do you want right done by your kids or family? I pushed him to get him off. I pushed him off of me. >> THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD YOU. I PUSHED HIM OFF OF ME. >> Take me to jail so I can get done. >> Thought you wanted EMS. >> I do, but they could do it there. I am hot. This is not comfortable. Get me where I need to go to. >> Nope, I'm waiting on the ambulance. >> And then I'm not getting back in the car with you. I will request for somebody else. >> Okay. Whatever you say. Fire truck's here. >> This deputy's like, "Please. Please request another car so I don't have to listen to your mouth anymore. [laughter] I mean, yeah, she's she's pretty belligerent. She's pretty angry. She's pretty angry. But I Here's the thing, like I was trying to be on her side, you guys. I was trying to be on her side. Domestic disturbances can be very, very difficult, especially when you're only getting one side of the story. We don't know what happened before she called, but something happened to make her call. Now, did she call because she was the crazy one and she thought that she could get his [ __ ] off to jail or that the cops would just unlock her car so that she could have a siggy? I don't know why she called, but she clearly admitted to being the first one to put hands on him. I wanted to be on her side because I don't think it's right that the victim is charged for trying to protect themselves and then the other person's not there to give their side of the story and it's just It's a bad situation. I wanted to be on her side, but my god, her actions are showing that clearly what the boyfriend, husband, whoever said is probably true, where he said, "When she gets like this, I just leave." Clearly, he was trying to not escalate an already bad situation, so he So he fled. >> [laughter] >> He was like, "I'm going to flee. I'm going to run the [ __ ] away from this woman because she is losing her damn mind." And her actions and her behavior right now are kind of confirming what he said to the police on the phone. And I can't be on her side anymore. I'm sorry, lady. I can't be on your side anymore. But I do agree that they probably should have confirmed whether or not she needed an ambulance. And I know that like she had to request it via the 911 call or whatever, but they could have at least asked when she openly said that she fell and hit her head and then again, the boyfriend confirmed that she fell on the phone. So, I I do think that they should have asked if she needed any sort of medical assistance at all. Uh do I think that she can sue them and win because of that? Probably not. But, he did kind of threaten to break her leg. >> [laughter] >> I don't know. I need TO KNOW IN THE COMMENTS. DO I HAVE ANYBODY that works in law enforcement watching this video that can they can put in the comments right now and tell me, was the deputy allowed to say that to her? He basically threatened to break her leg if she didn't move it. I think it's different between saying, uh "Excuse me, ma'am. If you don't place your leg inside the vehicle, if I happen to close the door, it could potentially result in your leg breaking, and I don't want that to happen." Versus "Get your leg in the car, I'm going to break it." Like two two very very different ways of explaining the same outcome. You get what I mean? Was he allowed to say that? I think it was a bit much, but damn, I can understand his frustration because she's a real pain in the ass. >> She told me, "I'm not getting back in your car when I get out." >> You know, you know, she's going to go she's going to go to EMS. >> Lashonda is just as defiant and angry with EMS as she was with the police. Eventually, she lets them transport her to the hospital, but when she gets there, she won't cooperate with medical staff who then release her back into police custody. She continues berating the officer on route to booking. >> Are you listening to me? >> I am, but I'm I'm not going to speak to you now. >> So, why why can't you answer me? Why am I going to go to jail tonight? I'm already in trouble. I called and now I'm arrested. >> Calling 911 doesn't save you from going to jail. >> I told you WHAT I DID. I PUSHED HIM TO PROTECT MYSELF. I GUESS IT was just easier for you to jump on my back instead of going TO GET HIM. I ASKED HIM TO CALL 911. >> YOU ASKED TO GO THERE. >> Then they made you tell me that they don't have to do anything for me. So, what was the purpose? Y'all it's not right to Guys, you could have had You could have let me go back in my house to put on a shirt. >> Don't do that. >> I didn't Stop. IF YOU BREAK STOP. WELL, YOU'RE NOT GETTING ONE. STOP. IF YOU SPIT ON ME WELL, YOU JUST SPIT. >> WE HEARD YOU SPIT, BABY. WE HEARD the spit. We heard the spit. Don't upgrade your charge to battery also on a law enforcement officer, okay? Don't spit on him. Don't spit on him. Probably not good to spit all over the car, EITHER, BUT DEFINITELY DON'T SPIT on the officer. >> You could go ahead and make it another charge. I'M GOING TO MAKE IT ANOTHER CHARGE CUZ THAT'S WHAT I CAN DO. I CAN SIT AND [ __ ] PEOPLE AND ADD CHARGE AFTER [screaming] ADD CHARGE AFTER ADD CHARGE AFTER THEY JUST CALLED FOR [ __ ] HELP. YOU CAN STILL [ __ ] ME. >> I KNOW I CAN'T, but you can't spit on me anymore. >> I DIDN'T SPIT ON YOU THE FIRST >> I DIDN'T SAY YOU DID. >> YES, you did. If you're saying you can't spit on me anymore, that means that it happened prior. Everybody >> You did just spit. It's right there on my partition. >> on you. How am I being arrested because I pushed you off of me? I'm asking you a question so I know the proper law that this is a situation arise. You can't explain to me the proper the proper law and here you are with me in handcuffs ruining my I was the caller. I WAS THE one that needed help. >> I already told you calling 911 doesn't save you from going to jail. >> When the updates to Lashonda's story don't get her out of her legal troubles, she makes a very graphic threat against the victim. >> I promise you the next call that you have to come to my house is going to be the last call okay? I'm going to kill him. I'm going to chop him up in little pieces and then you can come get me. >> Well, I never worked that area so you probably never seeing me again. >> Can you hurry up so that somebody can give me some Tylenol or something for my >> Well, if you quit screaming, it'd probably help. >> I'm not screaming. I'm talking, [ __ ] That's it. You want me to do that because you have ink on your person. >> 641. Have you been here before? >> You know damn well I've been here before. >> Well, just asking cuz jail staff's going to ask. >> Due to her violently kicking during arrest and transport, Lashonda will be heavily restrained as she's brought into booking. Before he leaves, the officer briefs jail staff on what police have been dealing with. >> What was it for? >> So, we had to fight her to the ground. She's claiming there's a knot on her head, but she kept refusing medical care at the hospital. So, the hospital was like, "Well, then you don't need to be here." So, they sent her to the jail. >> Got you. >> And they said >> Awesome. >> because of the >> She's acting up now. >> After the arrest, she was charged with simple battery, resisting an officer without violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and threats to a law enforcement officer. She was held on a $4,000 bond, which she later posted. She initially entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. The court later granted a defense motion modifying her bond conditions to allow non-violent contact with the victim. At this time, her court case is still open. >> Now, if there was ever one body cam video that could prove that it was possible to talk your way into more charges, this would be the one. Wow. And I guess we all did learn a very valuable lesson. Just because you're the one that calls 911 doesn't mean that you can't be the one taken to jail. I am surprised that they never wanted to talk like talk to this guy in person, like bring him there or or something. Maybe they thought that he would just escalate the situation even more.
