On February 24th, 2024, police received a call from bank staff about a woman [music] with her face covered, carrying items that drew attention, and asking for internal information as well as a tour of the facility. When her request was denied, she did not leave and continued making disjointed, unclear statements, creating a tense atmosphere. All of this occurred while she was holding her young daughter. >> What's going on, man? That's it. I'm gone. >> All right. Get in the car. >> Thank you. >> Once the situation was stabilized, the top priority was ensuring the child's safety and comfort. However, this proved [music] difficult because no contact information for family members could be found to pick her up. >> All right. I wasn't crazy, right? >> No, he wasn't crazy. >> You okay, young lady? You okay? >> That's your mama, right? Your mama. >> Is that your mom? >> He's the good guy. They're going to help you. Okay. They're going to help mommy and you. All right. >> Calm down. Got to relax. Relax. Okay. >> Mama's okay. Okay. Thank you, sir. >> Thank you, man. >> You okay, young lady? >> What's What happened today with mom? What happened? >> You know I don't know. >> Okay. Do you Do you know where your dad is? >> I know. I just don't know. Hold up. >> What's his name? >> Abraham Davis. Daddy. >> Do you know Do you know how Davis? >> Do you spell his name for us? >> You break him anything in my car, that's another felony charge. I don't care what your question is right now. You break anything else in my car, it's going to be a felony charge. >> I don't know. Where's her father? >> Huh? >> She's kicking the back of my car. Let her know it's going to be a felony. >> You can go to You can talk to somebody at the jail. >> Thank you. You want to lose your dog? >> What's her father's phone number? What's her father's phone number? >> That's fine. I'll get Dest to do it. I don't need you to do it. >> We'll make sure that you're safe. >> Call her mom. >> Hey, your mom just needs to go get some help. Okay. But don't worry, she's safe now. Okay, just like you get someone here to make sure that you know who. >> So when I made my outer rounds then I came back in that's when she was questioned. She had a on the side want know she wanted the facility of the bank and want to know who's the president and you could tell like that then that's when it got a little and I asked her to leave your mom takes any medication pills. >> So it's okay try to calm down. Okay. >> Did she take any medication this morning? >> No, she didn't. cuz she takes pills like on a daily basis like every day. Hello. >> You want to give me her father's phone number now? Hello. >> Excuse me. >> What's her father's phone number? >> Def. >> What's her father's phone number? >> Hello. >> So, you're not going to give me her father's phone number? >> She don't. I am her father. >> You're You're not Okay. Who can come and get her? >> Nobody can come. >> So, Defas, you want Defas to come and get her? >> If you want to put her in the state, you can't. >> No, you you did this. Listen. Are you going to give me a contact to get your daughter taken care of or what? >> Are you going to Listen, I'm not talking about that right now. Are you going to give me a contact to get in of a person that can come take care of your daughter? >> I would like to speak to you. >> There's a supervisor on the way that's being taken care of. >> So now, who's going to come and get your daughter? Who's going to come and get your daughter? >> What? She got warrants, too? >> Got a sisters and brothers, auntie, uncle. >> I have a I have a sister. Her name is Mia. >> Mia. How's Mia? Young or older? >> She's older. >> She She's 20. >> She's in her 20. >> She's in her 20s. >> Yeah. >> You want to know her last name? >> I know. You don't know my last name. >> You know any phone numbers that we can call? No. >> No. >> How old are you? >> I'm eight. >> At the same time, those involved conducted a full review and verified the incident. >> Did she say anything whenever she had that or whatnot? >> No. Are you talking? No, she never did that. I just saw on her side. She never did. And now she she's at sideline. I said, "Ma'am, you have to leave. You're making my place uncomfortable." She starts videoing and recording me. >> So, you asked her to leave a couple times. >> Honestly, it's four times. Then she went into the president office and sat there. Then I everybody evacuated and then she said, "Well, baby, come on. Let's go." So she finally made it here when she saw the blue lights. That's when she made it there light. So I was making my out around with me, make sure door is secure. And when I walk back in, that's why I know that she was had a mask on and talking like she was on solid. So I as I left for I can't really apply any force. I'm just a security guard. That's why we had on the call you are. >> I painted her with a taser or I didn't arc it or shoot it cuz I was too close proximity and I didn't want to scare the child anymore cuz the child's standing there watching the whole time. So eventually I just stopped trying to fight her cuz I didn't want the little girl to keep seeing her mom get, you know, around. I was able to get the knife away from her and I threw it into the bushes over there and she had that like on pel like pelvis carry right here. >> After calming down, the little girl said [music] she wanted to see her father. In that moment, it was clear that what children need most is the feeling of being in the safe arms of family. >> You want me to get out? >> No, it's fine. >> Can I hug my daughter? >> No, in a second. Okay, I'll let you talk. >> Can I speak to the lieutenant? >> She's here right now. >> Can you let her call somebody on your phone? I don't have nobody to >> the dad or a friend. You don't have somebody. >> Okay. If you can put your foot back in. >> Okay. Not right now. If if I can get your foot in, please put your foot in. Foot in a second. Put your foot in. Put your foot in. Put your foot in. >> You okay? Come. Come here. Come here. Come here. Okay. You'll be okay. You'll be okay. Do you have your mom? Is that your mommy? >> Yes. >> Do you have Do you have somebody that can come get you or something? >> It's probably my auntie or I don't know my dad. I don't know. >> Probably my dad. >> Okay. So, do you know your dad's number? >> Well, if I could just get a witness report from you, what you saw and everything. >> Abraham Davis. >> You guys looked up her her dad already? >> No, we don't know how to spell his first name. Um, but she there's a phone in the car, but we're trying to find the keys so we can get the phone. She knows how to walk. Fell. >> Probably fell. Did she have >> I thought she had the keys in her hand. >> Young lady, is your neck okay? >> Yes. >> Your neck's okay. All right. Yeah. And then get a picture of this little girl that her back of her neck and her legs, please. Her legs down here. That very well could be for me whenever I was trying to get her mom off of her. But >> make sure you tell us more often. >> We need the key so the car don't get towed. >> But I don't have the key. >> So how'd you drive here? Sorry, you guys had everybody around here slinging me around. Somebody must have picked it up. I don't know. >> Okay, so like what was the last time or like where was it? >> How was I supposed to know? I just was hugging my daughter and you guys smuggled me. I don't even know. I just got here. >> I don't even have my >> I know, but like we got it right here, but like we're trying to find the key. So all your property >> all my stuff. You guys put me on. I just was talking. You guys are too aggressive. >> Can my friends check you out real quick? >> Can I see your name? That happened today. Yeah. You cold? No. I'm just scared. >> You want to help them? >> It's okay. They're going to help your mom. Okay. What happened? >> I don't know. Just when she woke up, she said she was going to go up here and that's what we were here for. And then she started saying that. >> You're not in trouble. It's okay. You didn't do anything wrong. Okay. You did nothing wrong. I got an extra sausage croissant in my car from Burger King. You want it? >> Yeah. Okay. I'll get you something to eat. Okay. I just wanted to call my dad. >> Okay, let's get let's make sure we get out of the road. I don't want you to get hit by a car. Okay, let's get you right here. >> As for the mother, she began [music] explaining why she had come to the bank. Although her intentions showed no clear risky signs, her clothing and unusual behavior in a sensitive location caused the situation to escalate, [music] showing how a single poor choice can lead to serious misunderstandings. >> Look at me. >> I can see my >> Look at my hand. I don't have it. I'm not. >> Let's put Let's put her >> Let me take pictures of you. Horn, are you okay? Are you injured at all? >> We got We got time. Lieutenant, I was trying to speak to you before. >> I'm a sergeant. >> Oh, sergeant. >> Okay, turn around. Let me get a picture of you. >> Do you need EMS? >> You already got your EMS. I called to speak to you, Lieutenant, because your sergeants were too aggressive and they were yelling at me. I didn't refuse. All I requested today was to speak to the gate. keeper on my account because I had to settle in an amount of $18,750. I'm coming to request a 20k loan so that I can go back to Washington and speak with Congress. >> There's something wrong with my hip. I was trying to tell him a slam to the ground. >> Where is my daughter? >> She's over there. We just want to put you in the car first. >> What did you say? >> I said first put you in the car. >> I already I already did that. >> Let me get your I see. can feel this for you guys. >> Did you fall on it? >> That hurts. >> Okay. >> Okay. You want to sit down somewhere cuz you some Let's sit down and have some food and we'll see. Check out. Okay. >> What's this woman's name? Natasha Hayward. I'm going to start on the support cuz I really don't like the fact that that little girl got hurt, but the mom was squeezing her around the neck and I didn't know at the time that was her mom. >> Did you tell EMS to transport her? >> Oh, tell them to transport the girl. She's she's going to go with her. >> So Maha is going to meet them over there. >> So Maha's going to meet Does she need an adult riding with her or >> No, she she should be fine. >> Who Who are we going to turn the child over to? >> We'll figure that out when we get there. Yeah. >> Where'd you put them? Because you got in the car with them. >> It's on the camera. >> I don't have them. I'm not lying. >> You're not lying? >> No. >> Okay. >> Here you go. She's not lying. But those are the keys. >> I'm not lying. >> You're You're showing my breast in front of people. No, >> I'm not. >> Yes, you are. >> Is this it? Perfect. You did a great job. >> They said EMS is taking her to the children's hospital. >> Okay, tell her um I'm notifying the father right now or trying to Hi, this is Corpa of Savannah Police Department. Are you able to meet your daughter at the children's hospital? There's going to be a sergeant there and you just need to come to the back of the hospital and your daughter will be there with a doctor's and a sergeant. She'll be able to update you on the incident that occurred today. Okay. Thank you. I don't know what happened to mama today. She was acting weird. >> Is that your phone or your mom's phone? >> Is my the my phone. She took it away from me because she didn't want me playing anything on it. I don't know why she took it away even though dad bought it, not her. >> All right. So, you can take that phone with you so you can stay in contact with your dad until he gets to the hospital. Okay. Hun. >> So, for right now, we're going to have you sit in the back seat. Okay. We're going to take you to the hospital. >> Dad, I got to show you my dog. Do you have a picture of yours? Yes, in my town. Here she is. >> At the medical facility, the girl shared that her mother had shown unusual behavior earlier. [music] Her account matched what cameras and witnesses had recorded. >> All right, you got it from here. >> Hello, Miss Mariah. How are you? >> Good. >> What happened today? My name's Tracy. I'm one of the nurses. >> I don't I don't know what happened today. Me and my mom, we just went to She >> Your mama did? Yeah. What's she doing? >> I don't know, but I've been told that you have a toy box. >> We do, but we've got some things we got to do first. We do have toys. So, when you said mama was acting strange, what was she doing? >> I don't know. She wasn't anything. First, she was okay, but then she started saying stuff about she and I didn't know she was talking about at first. I didn't see it. I saw she was doing it, but they told us to get out. She didn't. She She refused and started recording. She had my neck where I almost couldn't breathe and she was squeezing. >> Mama did. >> I don't know. >> Okay. Where are you hurt? >> You fell in right here. >> Mama got you around the neck. You said with what? Her arm. Her hands. Did you know? She was doing >> like a bear hug. Okay. >> Okay. Well, you're okay. You're safe now. Want you tell we'll tell the doctors that, too, so they can check your neck. Good. All right. Is somebody coming in with >> I believe her dad is on the way. >> Dad's coming in. >> Yeah. >> You cool with that? >> Yeah. >> The father arrived quickly to pick up his daughter after being notified. In contrast [music] to the mother, he remained calm and cooperative. >> Look who I found. >> Daddy. this time. I don't know. >> And so the officer kind of got involved and [laughter] kind of pushed the mom down. But when she fell, normal reaction wasn't to let go and brace. She went down with her and that's why she was. It wasn't anything we did on purpose. It was just she just wouldn't let go. And so apparently mom was there saying that she was God. Had a debate. She was at the bank. >> What was happening to make the police? >> They got a call about a lady showing up there with the saying that she was gay and a bunch of other random things. It just didn't make any sense. >> I'm not sure. That's what and that's she said the same thing when I asked her what happened about years. >> Are you prepared to take her home when she's gone? Okay. Just make sure >> I know. No, I know. I just want to make sure you know. I mean, clearly she loves you. >> Do you have your idea, Mr. Meanwhile, the mother continued [music] making incoherent statements at times talking about money, then mentioning authorities and later referring to beliefs and [music] power. This raised the question of whether she might need professional support rather than only standard procedures. >> Nobody not going for y'all. Y'all don't scare me. You know why I'm crying? Because I love y'all. Sit down. Sit down. >> Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. I'm just taking me more. Stop. Am I going to do just relax? >> Look at me like you hate me. Already sat down. My back is hurting from sitting like that. I don't even lay like that. I had to stand for a few minutes and now I will sit down. >> Okay. As long as you stand there. >> Yeah. I'm not running nowhere. I'm not hiding. You guys want this little bit of money? I could cut you a check bigger than this. >> I'm just let I'm just letting you know. I write a check bigger than that. Yeah. Now I write a check bigger than that. A little bit of salary you making. Not too infinite. Only reason why y'all struggling is y'all don't got the power of the right to do it. I got to do it. My god will >> still ain't broken. >> I also don't have like the exact >> It's not [singing] practicing magic. >> It's plastic now. Hey, sit down. >> Don't touch me, please. >> You need one of those plastic things so I could spit. No, no, no. >> I spit on the floor. >> Why are you spitting on the floor? >> Because I actually me that place. >> You trying to get another charge? >> I don't care. >> That's money. Lun it up. PUT MY HANDS BEHIND MY BACK. I'M AT EASE. Acting like they working. I like the new Christian rappers. They on the surface. Not really on the surface. Repent. Let's go. Put the CUFFS ON MY WRIST. THEY TERRORIST trying to say that Jesus ain't God. Boy, you bugging. Turn vision. Stay in focus. If you love God, then you better show it. Still could do it. Yeah. This ain't no game. I ain't joking. Scary [ __ ] There's a bunch of scary people over there. >> They just If she refuses, what's y'all's next step? >> Talk to the doctor. >> Okay. You refuse? All right. I refuse. We'll just talk to the doctor. >> That's right. Go ahead. Write the paper. I'm not going to call the doctor. See what they want to do. >> He can't identify nothing. I'm definitely going to tell him. I'm going to tell him Mr. Mr. pain. You definitely going to get in trouble for It's no law to hold my child. It's no law to hug her. Y'all put your hands on her. Y'all don't even have a right to do that. Then snatching her away from me. I try to hold her. Y'all try to snatch her away from me. I'm holding her. He threw me down on him. He officer a pain. My daughter, you a child. You should be ashamed of yourself, but you not your ego. You don't even know why you got Don't hide from God. Come back out. Don't hide from God. Don't hold your head down. Hold it up high. Feel good about your wrongdoing. So when I persecute you and put you on the cross, all your sins you will carry just like your fake tattoo. >> From start to finish, the woman did not show cooperation and repeatedly shared stories that lacked a clear basis. >> What are you doing? Put one leg in and then scoot in the seat, man. Put that leg in the car like you would get in a car any other time. >> I got to use my muscles. I need muscles. >> All right, man. Put your feet in the car. Put your feet in the car. If you're not trying, put that foot in and then put your other feet foot in the car. What are you doing? No. Put your feet on the floor. Put your feet on the floor and sit normally so I can put a seat belt on you. Put your feet down. Sit normally so I can put a seat belt on you and put your hands behind your back. Why are you doing this the hard way? >> I'm not trying to be hard. >> Well, ma'am, that's what you're doing here. That's what you're doing. Put your feet right here. Put your feet right here. Sit down. >> I am >> correctly in the chair. Correctly in the chair. Put your feet over here. Put your feet on this side. >> So when you start driving, I'm still going to put my >> ma'am. Let me put the seat belt on you. Okay. >> Go ahead. You got >> Please put your hands behind you. Sit correctly so I can put the seat belt on you correctly. I want you to be safe in the back of the patrol car. Okay, ma'am. All right. Thank you, >> ma'am. Back up. Stand against the wall over there. Stand over. >> Stand. Stand over there. >> I am standing over there. I requested to see the gatekeeper. >> Ma'am, listen. I'm [clears throat] going to do you the courtesy of letting you know. Listen. Just listen to me for a second. >> There's another one behind it, too. >> You guys listen. Can you listen to me for a second? I'm trying to help you. You have to do what they say here. These folks do not play by the same rules. Okay. >> This is my >> You just need to do what they say. >> You're not being insubordinate. You're the one that didn't listen to me. >> I'm trying to let you know. Okay. >> I had told you what was going on and you made your own verdict. No, he is too aggressive. >> All right, man. Take a seat. Okay. >> He's too aggressive. >> I've actually been told that I'm not aggressive. >> You are you using improper using my outside >> and you excuse me. >> Take a seat. Okay. We're past talking now. Okay. >> Before you even were able to identify what was really going on. All you do is justice with the money. >> The mother was charged with criminal trespass, [music] family violence, possession of a firearm or during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, disorderly conduct, secondderee cruelty to children, and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers. Under Georgia law, she could face a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison. Actions that are hard to understand do not always come from ill intent, but sometimes from a troubled state [music] of mind. Early recognition and timely support can help prevent unfortunate situations. There was more than just waves on the water that day. There was also a moment that pushed everything out of control. >> There's no There is no There was no threat. There was no threat to say, "Here's a gun. Look at my gun." Nothing. >> On October 4th, 2025, a group of teenagers were on a boating trip in Florida waters. As they passed near another boat, despite doing nothing, their presence appeared to upset an older man on board, leading to a verbal exchange. The situation gradually escalated beyond a simple argument on the water when a concerning object was displayed, prompting authorities to step in. >> He was saying he's going to me and all my friends. >> There you go. >> What do you look like? >> Old guy. He had a old lady. We were all going under the bridge and then my friends came this way, but I went through the back way to get to my house. >> I got you. I don't even remember what he was wearing. >> Okay, let me let me let me talk to him real quick about >> my buddy was going to shoot him and watch him bleed out and he waving his >> he was waving his under that bridge. >> So kind of unrelated to this guy just a different >> No, this guy own >> You don't know him? Just a separate guy. >> Yeah, separate guy. But he had put his boat up and left. >> So he already left? >> Yes. >> Okay. What did that boat look like? >> Look at the video real quick. I'll show you. >> What did the truck look like they left on? Was it the Nissan? >> I didn't get here. They're my friend over here. But I just came cuz they said >> But you saw this gentleman leave, right? >> No, I just got >> No, the guy who you said was pointing your friend. >> Yeah, but they were all So they were on their boats and then they all came here talking to each other there, >> but I was way back there. But I just came to see if they were still here. But let me show you. >> Where's your friend? >> They're already back there on the roads. >> Okay, >> let me show you the video. >> I don't know. I can't even tell you what he >> old guy and then >> No, I'm not trespassing. >> Oh my god. >> You see that boat? >> So, where did he was last seen? >> Uh, he pulled his boat out of the boat. >> Did you see him where he went? >> Like I said, I was back there in the creek. That's way back there. >> Okay. That wasn't you who took the video, right? It was your friend. >> Yeah, I was already there. >> Where's your friend? Cuz if he's the one who had the gun pointed at him, I need to talk to him. >> Hey, call him. Okay. >> Those present provided statements and images helping make the review process more objective and clear. >> What do you have? >> Does he know what it is with the Nissan? I think >> he he said he didn't know what what truck left on said was a Key West boat dude wearing a long sleeve like dark colored shirt. >> There was no seeing the video, but allegedly like it was in his pocket. >> All right. Uh you have the video, ma'am. You said >> Yeah, we're doing it now. I'm good. Good. >> Okay. I sent you the one where you can hear him say, "I'll watch you out." And then they said, "Here you can see him messing with his pocket." And then wasn't there one? >> He's like, "That's >> This one doesn't have anything." >> So raise your hand again if you were on the boat, witnessed it, and had you not. >> Okay, I'm talking to teenagers. If you were on the boat, you saw a and you felt raise your hand. 1 2 3. Okay, there we go. in Florida since your mom's here. Uh it's called Marcy's law since you're the victim of a crime technically since you felt there was point at you. You have the right to make your info public or do not make your info public. All right. >> Guessing you don't want your info public. Okay. >> Yeah. It's going to be a tall. He was waving around with the kids saying I hope I'll watch one of you and die. Yeah. Just get down there and read them. I mean I have evidence like I have him on video saying it. Um so he's going to go regardless. But since you're here and your mom's here buddy, can you do a sworn written statement saying what you saw? >> Okay. Okay. And then as mom, you obviously want to pursue charges. >> Yes. >> Okay. He had it. So the picture shows him having the gun in his right pocket. It looks like black handle, maybe like silverish gray slide. Um I was talking to the deputy. He said that between him leaving here and then him contacting him, he went inside. So that could be anywhere. So I was going to see if like I guess he was pretty argumentative with the deputy to see if we could get a consent search on the truck and boat, but if not, it's inside. >> The man saw the incident from a different perspective. He admitted there was an argument but denied displaying anything [music] threatening. His anger came not only from the conflict but also from feeling misunderstood and placed in the position of facing a serious accusation. A very human response when someone feels their reputation is under threat. >> Hello. >> Hey sir. How's it going? My name is officer. What was your first name sir? >> Uh Christopher. >> Christopher. My name like I said officer Ron. Just call me Max. I just got to read you your constitutional rights. Okay. Miranda warning. >> Does that mean I'm arrested? That's why I'm you're detained for right now and then I have to complete my investigation. Yep. >> All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used as evidence against you in a criminal prosecution. You have the right to talk to an attorney. Have you requested an attorney before for questioning? >> Uh, not at this point. No. Would >> you speak to me now? >> I'm I'm okay speaking. Yes. >> Awesome. Yeah. So, what do you think brought me out here today with the kids? >> Yeah. Um, I think there was a bunch of kids on boats and we were on our way in and I think there was quite a few of them and uh they were speeding through the canal and just being rambunctious. There was other boats that were fishing as well >> and they followed us in to the boat ramp uh which I have video and other things of and I think when you get four to 10 teenagers together uh they can be a problem especially when she's sitting on the front of the boat in a bikini and all of them are guys and one girl and I just think that uh I don't think they were kids of integrity. I'm sure they're good kids. uh other than us trying to go in and being followed is to the extent of it obviously some words back and forth a majority of it through them and like I said it's probably on my phone well there is video on my phone I'm not sure if you talked to any of the witnesses at the boat ramp there were four guys in the corner four black gentlemen >> okay >> those boats followed us all the way to the boat ramp to the point where my boat is being pulled out of the water we were out of the water >> so I understand all that they were in the causeway or uh excuse me the ICW you guys were underneath Which the river the river which direction were you heading in the video? >> Um >> seems like you're going southbound >> I guess. Yeah, I guess back to the main ramp. So coming from Edgewater. >> All right. So you're going northbound then. My thing right now is I have video of it too. I have video of you with a in your pocket. It's clearly like I can see it right here. Has like a silverish slide and like a a gray hand. >> There's no gun. I had uh glasses. >> I'm going to show you a picture then. So we can all agree that's you. Camo shorts. That's me. That's you >> wearing the same. >> I The video is not loading, but what is that? You're You're gripping it like a That's not a >> What is that? >> That's my keys and a pair of glasses I had. >> Okay. So, I can see the slide on it. >> There's no I did not There's no slide. I If you want to go ahead. I did not pull that gun. I don't have There's That's an absolute lie. There's no That's a lie. It's a lie. It's That's There's no evidence. There's no I didn't pull a gun. We were followed in. There was none of that. I have a 19-year-old son. I respect kids. That's a lie. There's 12 of them. >> The video and them basically I'm paraphrasing here. >> I'm sorry. I'm getting upset, but this is unfortunate. >> But them saying I have it on video, too, that like I would watch you beat out and >> after four of them approached me. I'm like, you kids don't even understand. You don't know what you're getting into. Like, you can't follow people up. There was no There's no gun >> again. Just there's no There is no There was no threat. There was no threat to say, "Here's a gun. Look at my gun. Nothing. Nothing. I have four det. >> There's no gun. If you have video of me showing a gun, then either they photoshopped it or they're lying to you. >> Okay. My other hangup, too, is when I was talking to you, you said no. You said you said no. So, >> but then you keep referring to it as that gun. So, there's a >> there's no gun. My stepdad has a gun there. There's no gun. We didn't pull any guns. >> Where's your arm located? >> Huh? My farm is located in the house. >> Okay. Is the inside the house a >> No. >> Do you own any? >> No. >> I do. I do. I own a sig. Um that I did. Yes. I own a sour that I actually got from a friend that I gave to a brother. >> What kind of sig is it? >> I don't even know. I got it from one of my guy one of a guy that I did tree work from. I'm not a troublemaker. I didn't pull any I don't even know. >> All right. because my my whole thing my next step is >> this is crazy. [music] >> I'm probably gonna apply for a search warrant for >> Yeah, you can. That's fine. If you want to do that, I'm I'm okay. >> Well, to alleviate that, if you were to tell me where the gun is now, I can just retrieve it and not go scurrying through your house or property. >> Go ahead and do it. It's fine. Get a search warrant. I'm not This is ridiculous. >> All right. Put your foot real in >> and officer. I I would like you to call I mean, you know, you talked to all these kids. >> Yes. On my behalf. I think you should talk to my stepdad, too. >> Okay. Do you have >> I don't know if that does anything or not. >> Do you have his phone number? >> It's in my phone. It's in the back. I can give you uh yesterday. >> Okay. >> I don't think you believe me, though. That's >> Well, I I don't believe you because I have video saying to the contrary and you're out. I just showed you a still crap Wi-Fi. >> I understand that and that's unfortunate, but but okay, >> Emmy, no more talking. You got 10 kids versus me. >> All right. Well, questioning is done. So, did you want me to put your stepdad in the report? >> Yep. >> What's his last name? >> All right, that's all I needed. No more questioning for me. >> However, the explanations from him and his family could not outweigh the strength of the evidence and witness statements at the scene. >> How's it going? >> Not too bad. Officer Ron, how can I help you guys? >> I'm blind. That's a bat, right? >> That's okay. >> So, you were the arresting officer? >> Yes, sir. >> Ron? >> Yep. >> Hopefully, I pronounced it correctly. Yes, sir. Give me the circumstances here because what you're well from what I'm hearing makes no sense. >> Okay. So, I have five kids saying that he brandished a gun to at them and then made said he'd like to shoot them and see them out since I have five people. >> Explain explain to me the gun. >> Okay. Well, why why are you putting your finger in my face? Like, I'm He's an adult. I don't have to do this. I'm just trying to be nice to you. >> Okay. I have five people saying he had a gun. >> He didn't. >> Okay. And that's I have probable cause to say to arrest him for that. Okay. If I have five people saying it and then they all swore to me that they did. >> I was on the boat. >> Okay. >> She was on the boat. >> I also have video of the entire circumstance. Okay. And the threats alone what he said. Okay. I'm not saying what they said was right. I mean, they're teenagers and annoying. Okay. >> I took her to the car, please. >> I took her statement. >> You You go in the car. >> Okay. I took her statement. My partner did and that's part of my report too. I said, "Can you pronounce your first name? I don't want to." >> Yummy. >> Yummy. Okay. I put in my arrest report. Yummy said that there was no involved. Okay. So, it's not like I did a a partial report or bias report. I put in what she said. I put in what the five kids said and then a separate third party that was at the the boat ramp as well. >> A drunk older. >> Okay. Well, nonetheless, as part of my investigation, I have to put it. If I don't include that, then I'm not doing my job. >> You didn't get my input. >> Were you there? I was on the boat. >> I'm saying at the time of my investigation, where were you? Longwood, right? >> I was on my way home. I was not in Longwood. >> So, you were not here in New Smart. Correct. You were not there. >> Somebody could have made a phone call. >> I could have turned around and I could have came back. >> Okay. So, >> and I could have No, let me finish. >> All right. Have a good day. >> You are such an [ __ ] >> No, he's an adult. >> No, you are. >> Have a great day. I'm done explaining myself. >> I am going to take We're going to go to court. >> That's fine. >> And I'm going to prove wrong. The man was charged with aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a dangerous weapon. Under Florida law, he could face up to 6 years in prison and a $6,000 fine. This story reminds us that in moments of anger, [music] stepping back is not a loss. It can be a way to protect your own future and the safety of those around you. In the biting cold of winter, two young children sat alone in a dark car while the adults conflict unfolded upstairs. >> There you go. You want me to carry you? It's a little cold. I don't want you to slip. Okay. >> On February 18th, 2024, police were dispatched after a distress alert from an apartment security system. There they encountered a woman and a man who share children following a heated confrontation. Both claimed to be victims stemming from ongoing unresolved conflicts. Something >> over here. Jared Jackson. >> Just one person. >> She had to put your knife on me. Thank you, sir. >> Okay. Okay. >> Can we put this stuff down real quick? >> All right. >> Miss Jackson, >> you have any? >> No, I don't. I don't. >> Keep your eyes closed, please. Stay right there. >> Come over here. Place your hand behind your back. I'm going to detain you for now. >> Okay. No, but who is she to you? >> She was she's the the daughter the mother of my daughter. >> Okay. >> She does not live anymore in my house. >> Okay. >> Do you need an ambulance? >> No. >> Okay. >> I need her out of my house. >> Okay. >> And I don't want to stay. I don't feel safe here. >> Okay. >> All right. >> She's forcing conversations on me. I said that our doctor go in my house and see where she's been. She destroyed cameras and I everything on tape has been nicely. >> Okay. >> I want this. >> How long How long have you guys been? >> An hour. >> About an hour. >> 1120. Okay. >> I see nose, lip any other you have. >> She's exactly. >> Okay. No, I didn't say on there. >> Search it. >> Search it. Okay, not go. I got the door. You two, sir. Just Okay. >> Amid the tension, the course of action shifted when officers learned that two young children were in a car outside in temperatures around - 9° C without supervision. >> Where where are your children? >> In the car, actually >> outside or inside or in the garage? >> We don't have any weapons. >> Who's with them? >> That's fine. >> How old are your kids? >> She's five. And I'm also babysitting a three-year-old. >> Just the two of them in the car. >> How many car did you drive? What was it? Toyota. Um, I'm not sure. >> I can go and help if you want. >> Right. Well, here is >> Yeah. Find these kids. >> I want to know their condition, if there's heat or not, or if they're asleep or not or what. Supposed to be in the back of Billy. >> Okay. Um, we got into a dispute because blocked me. really have a bad communication for about a month and a half and I haven't had financial support from him and um I came over he let me in and I attempted to have a conversation with him and he physically arrested me and I defended myself which is the reason for that mess there you'll see on camera he knocked me down quite a few times and um I defended myself we attempted to have a conversation and he just kept saying things like I'm in danger my license and things of that nature calling for Alexa to um basically call emergency services >> it was she destroyed it >> I mean it's in the it's in the drawer Yeah, because he kept screaming that his life was in danger and it was not and it made me feel as though I would have been incriminated. So, I took it down and um yeah, that was it. >> I got the key. >> Yeah. Can you ask police here that long? I'm so concerned about the children. It was honestly a last minute attempt to have a conversation with them regarding the child support matter. THERE'S >> two kids. >> Are you guys okay? >> Okay. >> Inside the apartment, the mother continued discussing unresolved issues related to financial support and lingering relationship matters, showing how when adults are caught up in conflict, children can easily be overlooked. put that up at court. >> Well, I told him that and he already >> do you need medical attention? >> I'm not sure because my adrenaline is rushing right now. Um, he did get a couple of good blows in. >> Where did he hit you? >> My face, my head. I could potentially have a concussion, but adrenaline. >> How did he hit you? Open face. >> Yes. No. >> Open. Close. Okay. >> Basically saying the same thing. He's been saying the same thing for like the last 4 months and nothing and I'm a single parent. Like I'm struggling and I'm banking on him and he just keeps lying to me. So tonight was like okay like stop lying to me. Like I asked him I was like why do you keep lying to me and you just keep saying you're going to help and you're not helping. And he's like do this and I'll do that. And it's like you've been saying things for months now and you're not doing anything. Tell me something that's legible. Tell me why you keep lying. I don't want to have this conversation. And I'm like fine. He's like trying to force me to have it and he on me and I'm like I fall to the floor. You'll see it on the camera. I fall to the floor. I grab him and I try to protect myself and I say, "Why are you doing this? There's still an emotional attachment there." So I'm like, "Please stop me. Why do you hate me so much? Like I'm not a problematic baby mom." Basically, I'm like, "I'm not doing um a lot to the point. You have to treat me this way." So, just Florida 612. >> And who's the other? >> Who's the other child that's inside the vehicle? >> Um, it's my cousin's daughter. I'm babysitting her tonight. >> We don't know right now. We're still investigating. And then also, you just left two minor kids in the car. So, that's in a sense alone with no heat. It's cold out there. Have you been drinking tonight? No. >> You didn't have anything to drink? No, we came from my apartment. Okay. Who came away from it? >> I did. >> You said three. >> The kids said yes. >> Oh, okay. So, he was home. >> Mhm. >> When he got there, he was home. >> He was on his way out. Yeah. >> Well, this is a mess. >> What is he saying? >> Here's the first thing. The first thing is you guys are in a physical altercation. He's got marks on him and you guys have a child in common. So, under Ohio law that is considered your relationship with him. Having a child in common fits the definition of a domestic relationship. Mhm. >> The violence makes it domestic violence. In domestic violence under Ohio law, no police officer in Ohio has any discretion in arresting or not arresting. So, you'll be arrested for domestic violence >> right now. >> Other problem is I got a 5-year-old and a three-year-old that I have to figure out what to do with who are in a car that's not on without a parent or guardian and it's 15° outside. So, that is my that's my dilemma. All right. Well, the 5-year-old's he's the dad of the 5-year-old. Is that right, but I I don't know if he's equipped to deal with him. Who's Who is not? >> And no one is. I don't have family here. I'm from Tennessee. We moved. >> Who's the three-year-old gone to? >> My cousin. I'm babysitting her. >> Okay. Where's the cousin at? >> She's at work. >> For adults, the cold is uncomfortable. [music] For small children, it can quickly become a serious health concern. Officers carried out legal procedures with a mother while also prioritizing the children's safety. >> Hey. Yeah. Two. When the car is not on top. >> She awake or sold asleep. Okay. Well, we're going to put Okay. Okay. >> How are you? >> Yeah. All right. Let's go. >> Hello. How are you? Are you okay? I want my mommy. >> You want your mommy? >> Okay. female name. >> All right, sir. You got >> kind of >> about to go downstairs. >> She's under arrest for >> Right. The 5-year-old is both of theirs. Okay. And two charges of childment for the kids being in the car alone. It's been about an hour more more so now. Over an hour. >> 15°. >> Mhm. going to go upstairs. Okay. All right. Wash the floor. There's glass. Hi. Hi, baby. I know, baby. I know. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. All right. So, you are with me. >> Yeah. Head back to him and go back, but I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. And I'll stay here. I'm not going to run away here. Okay. Once you get to the deal, we'll be able to get them all. Okay. Okay. It's because you GOT ALL THAT YOU CAN STAND RIGHT THERE. THEY'RE GOING TO BLIND YOU and then I'll take those cuffs off. Okay. How you doing, Miss Jackson? I'm >> okay. How are you? >> I'm doing all right. What's the um password? And find that phone number for the cousin. Another child, [music] not hers, was taken to the station to wait for a family member. >> All right, you ready? We're going to take the seat belt off. There you go. You want me to carry you? It's a little cold. I don't want you to slip. Okay, we're going to go up and go sit upstairs. >> Okay. All right. Ready? Sit you down here. All right, come on in. >> All right, let's go this way. Come on. Yep, I'm right here. >> I did. 104 is still at the the apartments. I was following back with the small child. If he gets dropped off, that's okay. >> If someone can bring him back, that's fine. I can do it. But I'm here with >> respond as originally planned. >> That's a window. >> Yeah. You see yourself in it? You can see a reflection in it. Huh? Yeah. There's some stairs there. But we're not going to go down those stairs. All right. You want to sit down? Let me see if you want me to see if I got some like coloring books or something for you. Do you like to color here? I'm going to scoot you in right there. All right. But if you still look at that location, >> here's some coloring books. Do you like dolls? You do. It's your lucky day. Yeah. Yeah. Look at that. Here's a couple coloring books. You want some crayons? Are you good? >> There's more. There you go. Look at that. >> A mermaid. >> Yeah. I a mermaid. >> A mermaid. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> This one. >> This one. >> Fire truck. >> Yeah. >> Or this one. >> Lightning McQueen. >> This one. >> This one. Papa hat. >> THIS ONE? >> YEAH. >> OH, THAT'S WOODY. >> YEAH, he's a Papa hat. >> Yeah, his cowboy hat. >> The child's mother, the woman's cousin, arrived worried and upset after learning what had happened. >> Hello, Mom. >> Yes. And this is a very serious matter. >> Yeah, it is. Yep. Come on in. >> Thank you. >> Mhm. SHE'S RIGHT HERE. SHE HAS BEEN WONDERFUL WITH US. >> UM, >> do you have your ID on you? I need to get your info. Okay. >> Um, get arrested for >> um, domestic violence and child endangerment >> because >> um, so I'm I'm going to get to everything. Let me just get your info here. I I promise I'm going to tell you, okay? I'm I'm not going to keep nothing from you. Okay? >> So, she has been wonderful this whole time. Okay? The most polite little girl I've ever been around. Okay. >> Okay. And that's a good phone number. >> Okay. >> Here's that back for you. Um, so we we got a call. Who is Kira Jackson to you? >> That was my cousin. >> Cousin. Okay. All right. We got a call um at one of our apartment complexes uh from a security system that someone just needed help. So, we went to go figure out what was going on. through what we saw in our investigation, she was arrested for domestic violence. She said, "I have two kids in in the car." We said, "Where's your car?" She said, "Parked out back." When we went out back, >> the car was off and the two kids were sitting in the back seat. >> Um, what's the street number again? >> They were both shivering in the back seat and >> we were able to get them into our cruiser where it was warm and the other little girl went back up with her dad and then we brought her back cuz she wasn't with any parents. Okay. So, was she against her child's father? >> I believe so. >> Yeah, I I believe so. >> So, I've been drama >> I've been dealing with with the kids, but yeah, I believe so. >> Just so happened the kids were not with >> So, no, they were not with her. They were in the car. Um, >> was she? >> She was up on like the ninth floor and the the car was in the back of the building in the 15° weather. Um, and it was not on it was not running. Um, we're all we're going to be all set here. Help me clear. >> The other little girl was asleep. She was awake and they were both very cold. Obviously cold in the car there. >> Um, so she is going to be charged with childment as well. >> Okay. >> The woman Kira Jackson was charged with domestic kid felonious [music] and two counts of child endangerment. In your view, what outcome would be fair and appropriate in a situation like this? Share your thoughts in the comments below. When a child has to call authorities to [music] protect themselves from their own father, it is no longer just a family disagreement. >> So, how did he end up with red marks on his neck? >> I don't know. >> On June 28th, 2025, authorities received a call about tension between a father and his son. The situation began when the mother called and learned another woman was in the home, making the atmosphere feel overwhelming. Feeling frightened, the boy called 911 because he did not feel safe. An instinctive response when a child no longer knows where to turn for protection. >> Like nothing like that. He He's just upset. That's all it is. And I just got him a phone and now here we go. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> What What happened? >> Well, what's happening is that my wife's in rehab in California. We were separated and I'm seeing somebody else and I have that girl here now with her child and he's upset that I have her here with me now. And they were chilling all day. We're having a good day. And my wife called him to ask who was there. And he responded away like, "Yeah, this girl's here. They're doing this." And she told him to call the cop. I heard her on the phone. You better call the cop. Like just to like mess with my night kind of thing. So anyways, he says like I grabbed him by the throat and did all this. I I grabbed him to get his phone so he would not call the cops. I didn't want no police. I was trying to talk him down. So I made an agreement with him. >> So how did you grab I just I just put him down and grabbed his phone. Like he was it was up in the air. I just kind of reached and grabbed his phone. That was it. Like I did not I don't abuse him. There there's never been nothing. >> Where was your hand at on him? >> It wasn't even on him. It was like up in the air with his phone. >> Then how are you holding him down? >> I wasn't holding him down at all. >> You just told me you were holding him down. >> I'm not holding him down. I wasn't holding him down. He he he was fidgeting for the phone like like he he he was trying to give up his phone and I just like climbed up his like arm for the phone kind of thing. He raised his hands up. I'm not giving you my phone. And I went and grabbed his leg like like dude like don't be calling no cops. His mom's mad cuz I have a girl here. That's what it's about at the end of the day. That's what it's about. They've been We've been chilling all day here having a good day. He's upset because she called him and found out what was going on. That's the real >> He's upset. So I told him that I will take them home. I'll give you your phone back. >> Well, you're not taking anyone home. >> No, obviously. But I told him that I'll find a way Uber. I'll tell I'll I'll get them out of here, buy an Uber, and so be it. To get him out of here so he's happy so we can just go to bed and have a peaceful night. And he said, "Okay." So he I gave him his phone back and then he called the cops. >> So how did he end up with red marks on his neck? >> I don't know. I had There's no red marks on his neck. >> No, there absolutely is. >> I have no idea. >> I don't put red marks on his neck. I would never put red marks on his neck. His mom does that to him. His mom is Oh, >> his mom's a California. >> Yeah, his mother gonna do evil. Oh, no. You don't get it. >> Her his mom is evil, bro. I didn't put no red marks on his neck. You can say what you want, but I didn't put no red marks on his neck. >> Well, I think part of the issue is when when you were explaining to him how you grabbed the phone the first time you did gesture. You said you had your hand. I just put it down. I wasn't trying to like >> You had your hand on your son at some point, right? >> I took a So, I get my phone. I were just trying to figure out, you know, what did and didn't happen, right? So, you had your hand all that. I get I get that. >> I'm sure he's not trying to arrest anybody. He doesn't have to. We're just trying to get the straight story. Right. >> I get it. >> The father believed he was simply handling the situation to maintain order, but did not realize that physical restraint can create deep fear for a child even without leaving visible signs. >> No, I will. >> Like, can I have the He's just upset cuz of like the family dram. That's all. Hey, >> okay. I I get I get >> All right. Come walk over here by my car. All right. I need you to be very specific for me about what happened when he was trying to get the phone from you and I'll break it down. >> When his hand was on your neck, was it his left hand or his right hand? So, >> dad's completely hammered. Son says he >> Yeah, they're both used his forearm, held him down, and took the phone away from him to stop him from calling the cops. He's got Hey, bud. Let me see your neck real quick. >> Other side, please. >> Nope. Your left side. Dad holding him down to get the phone and I never put my hands on him after. He already told me that they held him down. Okay. Um, it's dad and that's your dad's girlfriend. That's the other person in the house. Mom is Mom is in California. >> I'm visiting or >> rehab. >> Yeah. That's why >> um >> those kids, they just got they need to get out of there. It's your home. >> I mean, he can't sign a complaint to the minor and mom's not here. >> Yeah. >> You want me to tell him to start calling his grandma and have her come? Um, can you or your mom call your grandma and have her start coming here, please? >> Where she live? >> Oh, Planefield. All right. I'll call you back. >> She's crazy, dude. >> Okay. So, now's your opportunity. >> Okay. I need you to be very detailed about exactly what happened when you took the phone from him. >> Okay. He was kicking and screaming. He was fighting back and I He said he was going to call the cops and I told him not to call the cops. So I grabbed him. I pushed him down on his chest and I said, "Give me the phone." I ripped the phone from his hand. I said, "You're not calling the cops." And then we made an agreement after that if I take her home and I get her and her kid out of here, will you not call the cops? He said yes. And after that he called the cops. So when you held him down to get the phone from him, did you use your hand, your forearm? What did you use? >> I used my hand, my left hand on his chest. >> Okay. >> Nothing likeful just to get the phone. I got the phone back and I told him like, "Dude, don't call no cops, bro." And he said, "I won't call the cops as long as you get them out of here." I said, "Okay, I'll get them out of here." He's like, "I'm going to call mom." I told him, "Fine, call mom. I'm going to get him out of here." And then he called the cops. Do you not see the issue with holding down your kid and preventing him from >> understand like >> I understand. I'm sorry about that. I will make her leave and he'll be happy when she leaves. That's what that's that's the problem. >> How do you get to Mark Jones? >> He also felt he was being misunderstood and that his son was influenced by his mother's words. A common reaction when adults fail to recognize a child's genuine emotions. >> What? >> Try to get the neck. >> We've been swimming and playing and we've been on trampolines. We've been we've been here all day having fun. Like he's been like that kid he has. He'd been holding on to his neck all day in the pool. He was holding on his neck all day when he was swimming with him. He was being a good big brother. He was being really good. That's probably where some of the marks came from from swimming in the pool. >> You didn't see him? >> I didn't see him at the time. No, I didn't because there's this water and we're just having fun. I didn't really notice it. >> Okay. >> To be honest with you, he's got rub marks on his neck and this and that. That's not from me. That is not from me. That is from all day in the pool and hanging out. She She's telling him what to say right now. My wife, >> she's not talking to your wife. >> Yes, she is. I can hear her from here. >> Uhhuh. She talking from California. She's talking to him cuz she knows that she got the cops here. This is exactly what she wanted. She wanted to make me look at the bad guy. So she got what she wanted. That That's the problem. >> That's the problem. >> So, why don't you go inside for a minute? Okay. Just go inside. >> Go inside, buddy. Like uh the the story I'm getting from both him and you is like it was beyond corrective punishment. >> Beyond corrective punishment >> like >> not necessarily how you interpret that. Do you interpret it beyond corrective punishment? Like I just got the phone out of his hand. I didn't like him. I didn't put pressure more than you think on him and I didn't put the red marks around his neck. If you think it's beyond corrective punishment just to get the phone out of his hand, then so be it. He's telling you what she told him to tell you. That's my ex-wife in California that wants to ruin my life. If you guys are falling for it, then so be it. That's what she's telling you guys. I heard arguing, but I don't know what happened. >> You didn't see any of it. You just heard it? >> No. >> Okay. Um, okay. >> So, what's happening right now? >> Um, so Jason's under arrest for domestic battery and interfering with reporting of domestic violence. >> So, he's going to go to jail. He's going to >> be there at least for tonight until he can see a judge. Um, >> Monday. Sometimes they come in on some days. Kind of just depends on the weekend. I don't know if they came in today or if they'll come in tomorrow. >> So, what about the kids? >> We are attempting to get in contact with their grandparents. >> Uh, she came over at 12, but she came over a couple days ago. >> Unfortunately, you were not one. You're not their guardian. So, >> yeah. I was like, I could stay here with the kids tonight. I don't know. I don't know what happened. I don't >> you know, >> I just didn't want the little guy to see that. Yeah. That's why I closed the door. So, I apologize for that. >> No, I want him. >> I I appreciate you doing that, but unfortunately his dad is extremely intoxicated and was not helping himself any. >> Okay. >> So, go ahead. >> We need her to >> come watch her grandchildren. >> Peace officer. Okay. Our job is to make sure you're safe, your brother's safe, friends safe, >> you know, >> and your sister's safe. And that's it. So, your dad's going to be okay. Okay? He's not going to go away for days and weeks and stuff like that. Nothing like that. He just made a mistake. Okay. He's got time out and then he'll be out. Okay. All right. But he's not going away. Okay. He can't We got to protect your brother, okay? Or whoever's in the house, we have to protect them so it doesn't happen again. Did you see your brother's neck? >> Huh? Are you correct? >> Give me some. Okay. >> All right. We're good. >> He said it could either be on the back deck or in the back garage. >> He's got no idea. >> So, I'm here playing video games. >> Yeah. Okay. >> I will make them go away and and we can coexist in this house. Sorry. >> Yeah. Well, no. You're You're coming with us tonight. You're under arrest. You Hey, I'll give you the address. Come on. Ready? >> Okay. Watch your knee. >> Yeah. >> The father was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic. Under Illinois law, he could face up to 2 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. This story reminds us that parenting is not only about providing care, but also about self-control in the most difficult moments. Actions driven by anger can leave lasting emotional effects on a child. It's no coincidence that the number of adolescents facing mental health issues is rising. One contributing factor is family dispute. >> I just have >> from who? My mom. >> Okay. >> On August 11th, 2023, police received a call about a family dispute involving a mother and her daughter. Officers arrived promptly to clarify the situation and speak with everyone involved. >> Do me a favor. Stay seated in your car. Okay. >> Ma'am, can you come with me? My mom. >> Okay. >> They were fighting right here in front of the Jeep. >> How did I get in the in the hallway? >> His boyfriend lives here. Where is he? He went for a walk. He didn't want to get into >> What are you and your mom fighting over? >> Absolutely. >> So, tell me what happened cuz the call's very confusing. Okay, let me tell you what happened. She called me and told me to come get her. Melissa, she was here by herself. So Melissa called me to tell me to come get her because she feels like she's having a nervous breakdown. But she's drinking. So she didn't want to drive. I went and picked her up. I picked her up to come get the drive the Jeep and I took Melissa with me. That's how it was supposed to go. But she drove my truck and I brought Melissa. There's too many kids. >> Do you have an ID on you by chance? >> Yeah, this is my house. Just >> out getting off. >> Well, my feet are burning. So now I don't have it. >> That's why I'm trying to keep you in the car so you don't burn your feet. You want to see my phone? >> No, I could just get >> Let me tell you one thing. I am not okay with somebody going into my house to fill my knowledge. >> I have no idea what's going on. >> No. Well, get an idea. >> Listen, you're not going to yell. >> You're going to sit down quietly. You're going to come first with me. >> I am. >> You're absolutely right. >> Stop right now and let me >> This is my residence, sir. >> Stop. >> I'm not going to stop. >> You're going to stop or I'm going to put you in handcuffs to detain you. >> This is my residence. My daughter is right here. >> That's awesome. We're here to help you. >> Are you going to put ME IN CUFFS RIGHT NOW, TOO? Are you going to put me in cuffs and find my This is my residence. >> If you relax and stop, can you sit all the way in? Let's just start over. Okay. What is your name? >> Melissa Pile. Okay. >> Right now, like >> Carrie, are you serious? They're going to arrest me. >> No, ma'am. >> No, you don't. No, ma'am. Me. >> Your hand is close to my face. >> OH, stop your >> I'm letting you know right now. >> Stop your face. >> Right now, just to relax. >> Don't do me. Oh my god. I didn't do anything. I'm just putting her inside so she doesn't see. >> Okay. You remember this? This is my mother house. >> Okay. >> During the investigation, police noted the mother faced significant personal challenges, including raising multiple children alone and dealing with personal difficulties. >> Your baby, >> she was with me. She was >> Yes. >> Okay. So, she called you because she's having a mental breakdown. >> So, I went I came and got Mercy cuz she does school from home. So, I came and got her cuz I didn't want to leave her Jeep somewhere else. Where was she? >> She was at a convenience store. >> So, you picked her up from her Jeep and brought her. >> I put her in the Jeep. I drove the Jeep. Mercy drove my truck and then I was just going to bring Mercy here so that she could get her stuff and go to my house. >> Journey stayed with me last night cuz her mama has class. >> So then when Melissa said she needed me, I told her to stay right there. I was coming for her. >> You came picked up at a convenience store. >> Yes. And I drove her vehicle home. I drove it to here. And then older daughter brought your truck here. >> And she was just going to gather some stuff so that she could come to my house. Somehow Jason, her dad, got in the pass away. That's a big trigger for me. She's [snorts] raising these girls by herself. She's doing it all by herself. They got into a fight because Melissa was starting [ __ ] with this one and this one was protecting herself. And so yes, her mother grabbed her and was they were like a cat fight is really what it was. Never like this. She's a wonderful mother. But when she's drinking, this is the first time you've ever been a >> What are those marks from your her nails? Can you tell me what happened? >> Be honest. I don't know it. >> We were standing right there and my dad got involved and yelling, arguing with each other, but she like stepped up to me and I >> She came at me again. And after that went on for a while, I went back inside to grab a few things and >> she came like >> she followed me inside. and she was standing in front of the door and I was asking her to move again so I can go and I could just get out of the house and she wouldn't move. So it started again and I ended up but she ended up below me and I was on top of her and she had my my hair and then I finally got out whenever she whenever she came outside. >> She showed signs of stress, hesitated to answer some questions and stressed her personal rights. >> I have rights. >> You do. No one's taking them. It's a warning. >> What is your name? >> My name is Bernal. Before you start imposing your rights on me, I'm going to impose my rights as a citizen. >> And I'm not taking any rights. >> So you can stop yourself right now cuz I have the right to impose them on myself. No, I have the rights to impose myself. >> Can you start over and just talk instead of yell? >> You want to take me? Take me, bro. >> Okay. I don't understand what you're trying to say. >> Exactly. >> You make no sense. >> Exactly. >> Not making sense. >> When do I need to call, sir? Tell me. Tell me who I need to call. >> I'm just going to put the phone right here. >> NO, NO, NO, NO. TELL me who I need to call for my rights. What are you talking about? >> I don't have rights when this is my >> No one has said you have no rights. What I'm telling you is you're not going to yell at me. You're not >> I'm not yelling at you, sir. >> You have right now. You're not. >> This is my boss. >> Okay. I don't think it's a good idea that you call him, but if you >> I think it is a good idea. You've been on the force for how long? >> It's not relevant. >> Kind of is. >> Have you been drinking at all today? >> Are you married? >> My husband from pancreatic cancer. >> I'm sorry to hear that. >> Yeah. You don't know about that cuz you're so young to know about that. Do you want to get on the Albuquerque police horse and pretend like you know everything? >> Not at all. >> Hi, Albuquerque police. I have >> Officer Andrew Bernol. She's a little 1018 struggling to find her words. >> A little 1018. Who is the person who is at her home and willing to go to bed? >> You already have the police here. Can you disconnect that line and just talk to me? >> No, I will not disconnect the line. The reason why they call the police police is a different reason why you should be here. >> I'm trying to figure out why. >> I am too. >> But you keep yelling AT ME. YOU'RE COMING at me because you're a first >> first >> Albuquerque whatever the you think you are. >> I have no idea what you're trying to say. >> That's the officers. I'm going to let you go to speak with them. They'll help you. Okay. >> Yeah, absolutely. >> All right. Okay. All right. >> Given the situation, police took appropriate steps to ensure the safety of everyone involved. >> You're making very little sense. What is it that you're confused on so I could help clarify? >> I want to go home into my house, which is registered in my name. Why the you guys are here? I don't I'm going to be 100%. >> So if you want to sit here and flex your like muscles on me and like >> Oh, I No, I'm not. This is not my car. THIS IS NOT MY CAR. LOOK. SEE, this is what happened. >> You need to relax. >> You need to relax. >> Are you serious? And this is great. You guys are going to like You guys are going to make me pass. Huh? >> We're just trying to figure out what's happening. >> Wait. Wait for my brother to help. Wait for my brother to help. >> You have shoes. >> Believe you guys. Did you ask her for some shoes? >> NO, I DON'T WANT NO SHOES. >> You You're a new employee. APD officer. >> Don't pull away. >> Don't pull away here. >> Do not >> How could you do this to me? >> You could just throw them on the floor. Thank you. >> Do not me again, please. >> When there's nobody here, >> you're under arrest for battery on a police officer. >> WHO DID I BATTERY? Who did I battery? Who did I battery partner? You're going to jail. I don't care. Where's my brother? >> Walk towards my car. Knock it off. I'm not playing with you. >> What? I got arrested for >> battery on two police officers. >> I don't even do anything. I'm at my own home. >> Go ahead. Put your foot in. >> My own home. >> Follow this officer's instructions. >> Throw arrest for battery on police officer two times. And also, >> so sit tight. >> They also reassured the children and arranged temporary caregivers. So, how many children are in this house right now? >> Just me and >> Are they the only two that live here? >> We have another little sister, but she switches off days between >> Okay. She's with her dad. >> Yes. >> Okay. Do you know where you could stay to be safe? >> My uncle is on his way. >> Basically, she's talking to you. You guys are fighting about your deceased father. She blocks you into a room like a bedroom. She like stands in front of the door. I wouldn't like my room. I want to say she was blocking me in cuz I cuz I could get out. But >> so you asked her to move out of the doorway and then tell me again why. >> Just I don't really know. Like it just happens all so fast. >> Did she touch you first or you touched her first or what? What happened? >> I think I like grabbed her and I moved her but she's so clumsy whenever she's drunk. So she fell. She took me down with her. >> And then what happens? >> And she was she had like vacuuming my hair. She we were right there on the floor in the middle of the hallway and I ended up with her on the floor and before I knew I was between um her thighs and I didn't >> I don't even know what happened. >> Um I also have ambulance which was supposed to be in right away. I don't really know what's happening with that but they're coming. Melissa's brother does have authority over the kids. He will take their next thing is to figure out a safe place for them to go while she's >> Well, they either go with me or they'll go with him tonight. I have a plan. So they'll probably go with him. Did she like have drinking binges like this a lot or? >> She hasn't been alcoholic. >> Yes. The last time she drank like this was it was the Friday of Jenny's graduation. >> Was she like out all night or what? >> No, she went to work yesterday, so she stayed home and then she went to work this morning. I didn't know anything was wrong until she had texted. >> Authorities continued discussions to agree on the appropriate course of action. >> My niece called me, kind of gave me a little bit of background. >> Okay. What did she update you with? She said, "My sister's totally hammered and she's trying to drive and leave as she attacked Mercy and Carrie, her friend, came and prevented this all from going down, I guess, any further than exactly what it is." And I believe there's a Sam, her boyfriend, is in the house with her trying to handle the situation, >> handle this situation. >> Yeah. Like trying to calm it down or or he's part of it. I don't know how it is with boyfriends. >> Let me see what the officer inside would like. >> No problem. Um I do have at home I have a power of attorney um over over the kids. >> All three. All three. And also whatever else you need, I just have on the west side. No worries. No problem. >> Talk to you for one second. >> I cannot speak to you. >> Hello. One second. Can I talk to you for one second? I know you're too cold to listen to me. >> I'm too cold to listen. >> I'm mad and I know. This is my brother. If there's one person who's going to take care of me, it's me. It's here. He'll take me under his feet. Let me talk to him. Let him listen to me. He will take me. I have to go to work. I have to support my family. The mother's boyfriend later arrived, but the situation became tense and authorities stepped in to provide support and ensure everyone's safety. >> What's going on, sir? >> I'm the boyfriend. >> Whose boyfriend? >> Did they call you? >> Uh, her friend called me and said, "Come back." >> All right. Do me a favor, man. Just sit right here on the curb for now. >> Might get some shade or stuff. >> You can sit on that curb closer to the back of the unit. What's your first thing? They're going to finish medical and then that officer will update you with what's going on. But meanwhile, if you could just stay here, anything of what's going on? >> I was here for some of it and then I just walked away. >> What did you see while you were here? >> Yeah, I seen confrontation. I didn't see initiated it. >> I wasn't in the room either time or whatever. I was in the house and then I heard something and they were both laying on the floor at the garage. I was over there putting out I was like out of here. >> But uh as of right now, Melissa's under arrest. uh battery on a police officer two times and then that's the only charge I know of at the moment. So don't leave. Don't go anywhere. >> How could you do this to me? How could you do this to me? >> Hey, listen. Stop your head. >> No. >> What do you mean no? Stop hitting your head on the window. >> WHO'S THE ONE? WHO? >> I need you to give me a chance. >> You need to listen. Stop talking. The first thing you're going to do is shut your mouth. Second thing you're going to do, stop hitting your head against the window. You're going to wait until my supervisor arrives on scene. >> What did I just say? Number one is be quiet. You will wait until my supervisor gets on scene. Do you need medical to check you out? Do you need medical to come look at you? >> I just want to see my brother. >> Are you refusing medical? >> No, I'm not refusing medical. >> Do you want to see medical? Yes or no? So, I'm going to take it as you're refusing medical. >> No, I'm not refusing medical. I'm just asking for my brother to come see me. >> Family members appeared helping find temporary housing for the children and clarifying custody arrangements. This highlights the important role of family and community support. I'm officer Marcus right now for battery on a police officer and also child abuse. She's got some her neck. You're able to take the children? >> Yes. >> And they said that you have power of attorney. How so? >> When this happened a while back, we drafted up when she came back from uh California. She went to a rehab there. We drafted up. They advised us that she should draft up a power of attorney in case she did lapse. So, I have the documentation of my house. I live on the west side. We never got to the point of getting it notorized, but I do have her signature and I do have it all drafted up. But I'm also their godfather. >> How long has she been struggling with alcohol? >> For a very long time since high school. >> I'm figuring out waiting for more officers to come cuz I have more documentation to do. She's going to go with us today. Hopefully. I don't know. Maybe she rehab or something. Doesn't seem like maybe this is her normal. >> Whenever she drinks, it's her normal. If that's the case where she works, she's probably not going to have a job after this. >> Where was she working? >> It's an ankle something. >> Oh, yeah. I saw it on her. Uh, sure. >> Do you normally feel safe with mom when she's not drinking? >> Okay. Guess the biggest thing is a little one is going to go with you. I'm going to talk to Sam. If you just want to sit tight, relax. Um, once we get the ball rolling, I'll let you know when you guys are good to go. >> Once arrangements for the children were settled, police continued assessing the mother's condition and considered referring her to support services if needed. >> So, if someone's hitting their head in the car and they won't stop, we have to put a helmet on them, right? So we can protect THEM FROM THEMSELVES. >> GUYS, MAKE SURE YOU catch her for a few. She's not even supposed to leave it at my house. I'm >> going to leave the door closed. We can roll down. We got her in the car now. We don't want to take her out, right? Ma'am, I understand you're upset. You're going to continue to hit your head. We're going to put a helmet on you and it's very uncomfortable. >> She has to listen to her. >> I would like to listen, but you've been yelling at me the whole time. I have haven't had a chance to talk to you. Sorry. Are you hurt? >> No. >> So, listen to me, please. Yeah, you don't have to listen to me cuz you have your authority and I get it. >> No, I want this. I came here not knowing what's going on. I'm just trying to make sure that we're safe. >> This is not safe or change. I'm the only one who is providing any type of income into this house. >> Look at me. Are you know and if you want to call my boss call me I'll go to I'll go to whatever classes. So I I I just got to advise you because I don't want you to keep hurting yourself. You bang your head on my car. I'm going to push you on a head to face. >> Can I talk to my brother? >> The man who just showed up and his ADIs and whatever. >> He has his guardianship. Yeah. >> Oh my kids. >> More than likely if they takes out they're going to go. >> Oh, that's fine. >> I'LL GO TALK TO MY BROTHER. MY BROTHER IS RIGHT HERE. HE HAS GUARDIANSHIP over my kids and he can take MY KIDS RIGHT NOW. >> AND YOU CAN take S AWAY FROM THE RESIDENCE. I DON'T CARE. I PRO I wish that you would. >> Well, I'm going to figure all this out. I just need some time. And so, I just need you to stay calm, not put yourself in the back of my car. We don't want to use force. We don't want We don't want to do any of that. Okay. >> Oh, my baby. >> I know. Take my scrubs. I can't. >> I swear to God. Swear to God. I'll let him. Who are you? Mr. This is my sergeant. >> I'm the sergeant. >> SERGEANT. Hang on. So if she starts to escalate bang her head and things can handle it. >> Sam is giving you a false name. It's not Samuel Smith. It's Samuel M. up. >> Can you please call my brother over here? >> You'll listen to their instruction. >> They verified information with her boyfriend and completed the required procedures. >> Don't even worry about replying to her. She's just confirming what you already gave me. So unless something new pops up, I'm not worried about it. >> Does she normally drink? >> No, she's recovering. She's recovering. >> Oh, there's a lot. She's a little guy. >> Yeah, I heard a little bit of it of her saying he passed away from pancreatic cancer. I believe how long you guys been together. >> Here, we'll turn around. You don't have to worry about it. >> I didn't. Or we've been together like a year and a half. >> In the whole year and a half, she's never had a situation like this. >> Not what she did. Only this. >> You see my camera? No, but the camera captures you holding her other arm. Correct. >> When the level one occurs. Um, did you see her apply force to her hand or lift her arm up? She said she pulled her arm up really high. >> I don't recall her applying any force, whether it was wrist compliance or anything like that. >> You didn't see anything like that? >> I thought the whole thing was low level cuz we were just escorting position all the way to silver car at the back of the car. >> Okay, sounds good. Thank you. >> But if it makes a difference, she I think kicked Amanda twice and then me once attempting twice. >> I heard that. The mother face charges of child abuse, battery upon a peace officer, and assault upon a peace officer. Under New Mexico law, the maximum sentence can be up to [music] 15 years in prison. Supporting parents in crisis is essential. The law must be respected, but at the same time, society needs to build [music] mental health and family support systems to better protect children. A tense conflict erupted between two neighbors with children involved in the background. >> You want to fight? You want to fight? On October 7th, 2024, local police received a call for assistance regarding a dispute between two women. What began as a concern over child care quickly escalated as tensions rose. Police arrived promptly and started gathering information, beginning with statements from the neighbors. >> Hi. >> Um, so earlier I went to go pick my son up from the bus, okay, which is literally at the entrance by the blinking light. So, I picked my son up from school or whatever and I don't get along with her, but my baby dad and her baby dad are cool and [ __ ] He asks us like all the time like look out for his kids or whatever. So I come back, I pull up this way from picking my son up from the blinker light down there. I pull in, her son's standing outside, she's not on the porch and her door's closed. So I sent the picture to the baby dad and I'm like, "You might want to call or do something cuz he's just standing out here by himself." So I come in the house or whatever. Well, his he texts me back. He's like, "Can you go outside and please make sure my son not still standing out there?" So I come outside on my porch. His across her porch, bum rushes me in my house. Her hair and her shoe is still in my house. So, she ran in my house to fight because I told her baby dad like her baby's just out here by himself type. So, yeah, I want to press charges cuz >> that one's off. I have the video footage of her running in the front of my house cuz I have a camera right there. So, I have the footage of her running into my house and you can see the shoes that she's wearing. Yeah, she grabbed me when I got in my house by the back of my hair. And so, I grabbed her hair. Yeah, that's her hair in my house. Up in my three up in you. >> Which one? >> But I've had problems. That's her shoe. You can check my outwear size five, six and a half. Okay, that's her shoe and that's her hair because um my friend that was here, he had to separate us. Like I was screaming for him like cuz he was upstairs and he had to separate us and then um so I left that there for y'all but I slammed the door and he threw like her one shoe out here which obviously she took with her. But this is not my first problem with this girl. Like last week her sister ran up on me. Her sister's aer I have the video of that too. I don't know her little sister's name though. So, there's really nothing I do about it cuz I don't know the little girl name or whatever, but she ran up on my porch the other last weekend and I've already went to the courts. I've already tried to put on her, you mean? She sat here and done called the police talking about she's so scared for her. I told the cop that I to her in her. I had to call the police back cuz the one night I'm sitting out here having a conversation. This scary escort home cuz I told her I said get >> a couple months ago. >> Yes. I've been having issues with trying to get some type of like thing in place. But like I told her before, if you want to just me and just get away, but what you're not going to do is try to run up on me while I'm in my I got my kids here. All you had to come outside and we could have ran it. >> I understand that you're >> like I'm upset because nobody ever wants to do [ __ ] But that No, somebody got to do something with her cuz it's not the night. I'm letting y'all know now. Like I got kids in my house and >> so let me go ahead and take your information. Can you pull up your your footage for us? >> Yep. I got that and I got the one from last. Security cameras in the area captured the entire incident, including [music] the detail of a sandal left behind at the scene. >> This is the video from last week. I went to go throw a thing. You can see where my trash can is. My trash can be sitting over there. >> I went to go throw a can in my trash can and she started talking to me. So I told her, "F you." >> So then here come the minor. That's the minor. So I threw the other can that I had in my hand. I went inside to go get my shoes on, but when I came outside, she ain't want to do nothing. But like I said, the little girl in the white, she's 16 years old, so I can't legally put my hands on you. I'm going to go to jail if you end up trying calling the police. So, this was literally from what is this? September 29th. But I have multiple reports. Like I said, you could probably even look it up in your system. >> Yeah. Today, >> the video of her running up into my house on my So, when I'm in my house, she runs up. I'm in my house already. So, she starts grabbing me by my hair. Like I said, right here where you're standing. Only thing I can do is grab her hair. like you had me from behind. So I reach back. I'm grabbing her hair with this hand. Finger hurt from my ring and but she's wearing those exact shoes. Like >> can you pause it where she was at? >> Pause it where? >> Like where she's in the middle. Can I see her real quick? Will it zoom in? >> It'll zoom in. Give me a second. Let me pause it for you >> cuz it's going to Hold on. >> They're so pretty. >> I buy them for this um um store. She's wearing purple Crocs, which I did throw one out after I slammed my door after we had to her out of my house. I did throw one Croc out, but [ __ ] I'm going to save the other one because you got the other. >> Previously, the two parties had clashed multiple times and even taken each other to court without a final resolution, showing that the conflict had been simmering for a long time. >> You said there was somebody else that was here, too. Your friend helped you like >> Yeah, but he was already on his way out the door. Like, he was already leaving. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> He Where was he at when this happened? He was upstairs. I had him uh he went outside cuz I went outside and then he went outside after me. And then I like I said, I came back in. Then that's when he had texted me like, "Hey, can you go make sure my kids not out there? He's upstairs while I'm coming outside to see and check my mail and shit." And that's when she started to like run up on me after. I'm already back turned to the mailbox. He came back inside obviously cuz that's when I started screaming his name like you know about to just run up in my house. Um, I can't even defend myself at this point cuz I might put my head backwards like I want to press charges because I went to the courts. I don't know if you can pull that up or not, but I've tried to uh I went in front of the judge to go get like an order placed. Okay, that way I'd protect myself because it's AHA. So, I did that to try to protect myself from the situation. And the judge literally told me when I showed him cuz I have more I have multiple more videos and police track records of all this, but he told me he said, "This literally seems like just more bad behavior to me right now." He says, "I'm really not going to grant anything, but if it escalates, then let me know." And I'm like, "All right, cool. I'll let you know or whatever." So, ever since then, there's been like a a silent beef with her like, and it's like I told her before, we can fight and just get it up out the way, but she don't never want to just do that and or just be an adult and just drop the but when you think you're about to run up in my house, I wouldn't care if my kids wasn't standing right here, but all three of my kids are standing right here screaming and like, you know what I mean? That's different. Like, but that that's just not cool. Now I'm at the point where something need to happen with this girl before I really just do some to her because it's it's coming to that point. Now you put my kids in danger. No. >> Yeah, that's not okay. >> This one's for you. I already have one. >> So what I'm going to do is let me go get some information for you. He's going to talk to Oh, he did see the video. If I send you a link, if I text you a link, are you able to upload that video to the link? Okay. So, let me go get that real quick and I'll be right back with you. Okay. >> All right. >> All right. >> A few minutes later, police returned to continue collecting information from the mother to support the investigation. What's her name? >> Marona. >> Okay. >> But she goes by Mina. >> Mina. Okay. >> And the only thing that I And this is another problem that I had when it came to doing the whole court with her. I don't know her birthday. But when I went to go do that order, they kept trying to tell me like, "Oh, well, you can't like do it because like we have to give you 24 hours to get her birthday." If he granted it, which he didn't grant it, so I didn't end up needing it. But for somebody, I mean, like, girl, you could have called the police on me. Had me being patted down in front of my own house talking about some, "Oh, you're scared. Well, you must not be that scared cuz how how do you how do you sit there and claim you're the victim and you're scared and it's the third, but you you running up people's houses. >> So, you're unit 62. Which one is she in? >> She's in 63. No, whatever that is. 61. This is 63, not her. >> Okay. >> 61. >> So, she's literally directly next door. >> And this is exactly why I was told by the office down there to go file a report because if they put a protection order in place, they will have to move her. >> Okay. >> And I'm not the only person that has issues with her. She has issues with her. She was trying to have 15-year-old mother. The mother's pissed. The mother's willing to go press charges about that. But it's just like you crossed the line run up in my house. Um >> okay. So when we came, the one who was standing here outside your house was was her. >> Who? >> Maragona. >> No, that is her baby dad's uh her baby dad's sister. Like I said, I messaged him about the baby being outside and it's about a baby. You know what I mean? So yeah, I did message him and I sent him a picture of his son standing out here by himself. So you're going to go inside and you're going to listen to me or there's going to be no TV. >> I'll be right back with you. >> Go. I don't want it. Go. You need to listen. Thank you. Go in and shut my door. >> I'll be right back with you. Okay. You're welcome. >> Police approached the neighboring house and spoke with the mother who shared her perspective on the incident, explaining that tensions had escalated unexpectedly. >> This one is low. >> All right. I I'll go ahead and get it. I never made it. >> I'm right here. >> Hello. >> I know. I'm going to put a shirt on. >> Yeah. >> Hello. >> All right. What's going on? So this female has always been a drama with me for no type of reason at all. I can never sit outside without her trying to jump me and my sisters with her stupid ass friends too. She was lit literally every time I'm outside. She's so drama with me all the damn time for no at all. Now she want to text my baby dad sending them pictures about my kids being outside. Oh no. My kids are never on top. I'm right here outside right here playing with the [ __ ] Okay. My kids will never be on. I'm a strict ass mommy can ask anybody about me. I don't care. But she's always got a problem with me for no type of reason at all. And I'm tired of it, bro. Like it's weird as me and my family alone. Like why is you going back and forth for what? So between us is why me and my dad do not communicate. We not do not get alone cuz I'm hurt and I'm tired of it, bro. I need my peace, bro. >> So what happened? >> This is what happened, bro. I'm literally just outside just chilling. Bro, you want to fight? You want to fight? You want to fight? Go ahead. Come. Guess what? Nope. You don't want to run up. She don't want to do nothing. But when I'm alone, she don't start [ __ ] When my sister, she want to set every the damn book. And I'm tired of it, bro. I can never have friends over texting my dad telling him telling him that I have hell at my house. No, I had to talk to one dude. I had this one dude only and his little brother be here all the damn time, too. I'm tired of always trying to and I'm tired of it. Like why? Like there's no point of you hating on me. Why? Cuz I won't have a threesome with you if they be dad. That's the only reason why she hates me. Cuz I want to have a damn threesome with with them. This nasty as hell CDs that she told me about the too. So I'm like over it, bro. I was finally starting to get my damn peas, bro. And I'm tired of damn this on a drama, bro. I didn't step for the time, bro. And I'm tired of it. It's stupid as I'm grown, bro. I'm 3 years old, bro. I'm grown as, bro. >> So, what happened today? >> Here I am outside my 2 minutes, bro. Cuz I have a one-year-old going inside the damn house. Check out my kid, bro. My son's right here playing with the ass. Okay. And I come outside and he's still right here playing with me. I will never leave my kids outside as long as I'm not stupid. I grew up in a very strict ass family, bro. I'm foreign, bro. I don't know if you guys know anything about my foreign. We are straight as my parents are very very bro. I couldn't step foot outside alone without my parents being beside me. Okay, that's why I want my parents too with my too, bro. And I can't do that. I know what the damn ho got everybody, bro. I want my peace. I want my >> Each side carried their own frustration and story. This illustrates how when emotions override reason, the truth can easily be misperceived. >> Walk me through you being inside of her apartment. >> Here I am right here, okay? And I see her outside and I say, "What the you done for?" She's the one that ran up on me. He's the one that wanted to fight me all the damn time. And I I'm tired, but of course my eyes too like the I'm not sweet. I need her to leave me alone, bro. Cuz >> But walk me through how you got inside of her apartment. >> So here I am right here with her fighting, dragging her. What the? I dragged her into the she's gonna scream after her boyfriend. Josh. Oh my god. Josh, it's not my fault you can't fight. It's my fault you can't drag. >> Okay, so the video that we have shows you running over to her apartment. >> I was running >> over to her apartment. >> No, we were both right here. It had to be later on, too, because we was fighting before, too, before I even thought I even ran up on her. Man, I wish I had my camera, but this one this [ __ ] doesn't even work no more cuz I just showing you my stuff, too, but it doesn't work at all. >> I just want my peas, bro. Like I need her to leave me alone and stop telling lies to my baby dad. That's why we don't communicate. We don't even get along no more. >> So you're saying that but you guys were over here. >> Yes, we was right here. >> How did you end up over there? >> She said you can't fight and nothing on my face or anything. That's why that's when I ran up over there again cuz she was keeping on me. Keep talking and talking. This is how she is. She's talking. Sorry to That's all she was. She's talking talking. I'm tired of it. I don't talk much. If you get mad, I don't give a >> Okay. When you ran out of your yard, what happened? >> Um if we end up in her house. >> Okay, >> that's Was she in there? >> No, she was not inside. That's when we both I was heated, you know. I was heated. That's why I couldn't can't really remember. Take a breath. But like was right here fighting and we just, you know, rolling on the floor and this and that. Then somehow we end up on our steps and the boyfriend jumped in tried to break us up. But honestly, I can't remember cuz I'm shaking right now. I'm sorry. I'm >> at all. >> I'm sorry. >> Do you need an ambulance? >> No, I'm fine. Oh, I'm not at all. I should deal with just a little in my face. I'm fine. So you guys were fighting here too? >> Yes. And last week she was trying to jump me and my sisters as well. That's when I called the cops. And I have reports on her too and agent reports too. All of that. And they about to move me out of here soon because of her. And I know for a fact it was them that knocked in my door. They're trying to bring it to like I don't see this right here. I know for sure it was them. That's when I have to call the cops again cuz I have to make reports. I'm not staying no more. Like I can't see lay their heads. >> Just hang on in here for a minute. Okay. We'll come back talk to you. The neighbors also continued to present accusations from their perspective. >> So, at any point in time when you were out here today, were you over there fighting with her? >> No. This is literally the first time I even seen this girl at all today. I can't even show you the time stamps cuz I know she not over there trying to lie fast. >> No, I'm just trying to get down to trying to get to the bottom of this. I don't talk to her unless her and her little raggedy little sisters start. The other weekend when he was out here and they said to me, I said, "Then do something because always have the most but you don't never want to do shit." That's why I said when you first came up here, if she had a problem, I love her baby dad know that his mom was out here by himself. She should have just came up and said that. They said, "Do you want to fight?" But when you COME IN MY HOUSE AND YOU GOT MY three kids standing right here next to me and my kids is screaming, "No, we not going to play that CUZ I DON'T EVEN PLAY like that." The only reason I even said anything to her, baby dad, is because of the simple fact he asked me to please look out for her kid because she has hell of men in the house. Multiple men a day. >> I understand all that, >> but I'm dealing with this [ __ ] >> The father's involvement reportedly played a role in the dispute. What started as a concern for the children eventually developed into an ongoing conflict between the two families. >> She has two. >> She has two. >> She has another one, but that one was adopted. I like the baby dad or whatever. So, she has three biologically. Two live there. her other baby dad's trying to get custody. >> How old are the ones over there? >> I think yeah, one and three and a half or four. So, it's not like they're school age. >> Get over here. >> But the only reason And to be honest with you, this is exactly why when I see him standing there, I didn't say I just took the picture and I sent it to the baby dad >> and then she just ran over. >> No, this is what happened. So, like I told you, I sent the picture to the baby dad. He must have said some to her, right? I texted him right now, but I took the picture whenever I sent it to him. I said, "You might want to have somebody come over here and either check on your kids or something." I said he did. He said it over here by himself. I said she's not on the porch and she's not. The door's closed. >> Let me stop you there. How did you know that she wasn't out there on the porch? >> My son's busted up and you guys pulled up like I told you at the blinker light. Well, I go this way because I park right here in front of my camera for a reason. So, when you come from that angle and you're coming around and you're going over those speed bumps, I don't go over the speed bumps. I go into the little parking spot because my car's already messed up. I'm coming up. I see him. But when you come around that corner, you can see her door and you can clearly see her porch. She has one porch and there was nobody sitting or standing on that door and that door is closed. Now granted, even though I don't like her, if the boy was sitting out there, she was sitting out there with him. I'm not about to send him a picture cuz she's right there. But if someone tells me, "Hey, look out for my kid because there's other weird going on too." I saw a picture and maybe dad even told me he's like, "That's how I know my son was on your phone because she got mad and just tried to pull that." This is not the first time. >> All right, hold on. Walk me through again where she come running over like what happened. Okay, I'm going to tell you what time I I sent the text message. I >> I'm not asking about the text. >> What you're not understanding is I had already went in the house after I sent this picture. I came out here because her baby dad listen. I'm probably going to be taking her to jail. I'm just trying to keep everything straight. Okay. So, relax. I get it. But you got to help. You have to help me. Okay. So, when you were in the doorway, right? >> I was in my doorway. So, when he he text him upstairs with my three kids and I'm puppy sitting. I'm not upstairs with my kids. I'm down I'm upstairs but I'm puppy sitting. So, I'm upstairs with the puppy. He text He's like, "Hey, can you please go make sure my kids throw out outside?" I said, "Yeah, I got you. I'm waiting for my baby dad to drop my kids off like I told you guys cuz he was right here when all this happened." I open my door cuz I come down the stairs. I open my door. I go like this. I walk out here a little bit. I look cuz he was right on the sidewalk when I seen him. He's not on the sidewalk. Cool. I go to check my mail. I go turn around. I'm already back in my house. Nothing on camera, but I'm rushing into my house. She grabbed me by my hair when I was in my house. So, what I did is of course I'm going to reach over me and I grabbed her hair back and that's why her hair is laying right there. Then that's when I was charges. Yes. And then that's when I was Yes. And then that's when I was screaming in the video my my baby dad's name Joshua because he had to run up in here and he had to like try to separate his because she had my hair. I'm not letting go of your hair though cuz you came in my house. I did pull her hair out but you should have never ran my house. >> So and then I have this too. I don't know where the >> Do you need like All right. We're going to be walking her by. We're not saying anything. We're not starting no fights. >> No, I This is my thing, okay? I done even told her this before. If you would just leave people the and stop acting like you're a victim. I mean, you don't call the police talking about like I told you before. I'm threatening your kids. >> I'm just telling you for right now when we walk by to say to her. >> Police returned to follow up with the mother, ensuring she understood her legal responsibilities while safeguarding the children. >> Well, we're going to need you. >> I got her stopped at Malaysia. >> Do I need my wallet or anything? >> We'll we'll get all that figured out. Okay. Okay. >> Louder. >> Put your put your hands together like you're praying. Turn them around hand to hand >> like palm palm to palm palm to palm. >> Palm to palm. Like your hands together. >> There you go. >> Make it more comfortable for me. >> Go ahead. >> Too tight. Good there. >> Oh, yeah. That's >> fine. I don't know what this >> Well, we have to and I'm trying to do it here so you're it's more private. We're not trying to I don't want to embarrass you or anything like that. Okay. >> 187. This is so weird. >> Three. >> I'll be 24. >> I don't have anything on your desk. >> No. >> We're We're going to get everything else figured out, but for right now, we're just going to go ahead and seat. Okay. 17 get you to head forward and >> so the kids that you have here now who are they what's >> those are my kids her right there that's my baby dad's sister her her wife is inside my house too >> okay get the kids so we're trying to work I don't I don't want if I can avoid having like CSB come out and get involved with the kids and stuff that's what we're trying to do okay at that point >> you as mom are Well, that's what I'm ask. Would you be willing to sign a form saying that she can watch the kids? >> Of course. Yes. That's family right there. She's family. >> Okay. Go ahead and get the kids info. >> Okay. >> The mother was later charged with adult and aggravated trespassing. Under Ohio law, the maximum penalty for these charges can be up to 3 [music] years in prison and a $10,000 fine. In the end, it is the children who are most affected by adult conflicts. By acting calmly and respecting the law, we can better protect our families and ensure a safe environment for children. In encounters with police, cooperating typically helps resolve situations more smoothly. In this case, however, the man took a completely unexpected approach. >> On June 27th, 2025, in Marian County, Florida, a man caused a police chase after colliding with a patrol car and attempting to flee. You ain't getting nothing. >> No, I was asking. >> You ain't getting nothing. Get in the car. >> I didn't double lock. I need to catch my breath. That was ridiculous. Yeah, >> he pushed the car into me almost. >> Is that baby okay? >> Was that in the car? >> Oh my god. >> Like why would he do this? Let's pull over. Take whatever. Now you got extra charges. The situation escalated when another man, then identified as the mother's brother, came back home, but he did not cooperate with authorities. >> Is my car damaged? >> I locked it for you. >> Thank you. >> So, hopefully you have your keys. >> I do. I don't see any damage on my car, which is shocking. Get your >> My baby. WHAT HAPPENED? We're about the fact he ran for me. Okay. >> Okay. But I'm trying to see what's what's what happened. What's wrong? All we need you to worry about right now is your banker. Okay. >> [ __ ] wrong. I'm just trying to come figure out what's going on. But you ain't got to me about GOING TO JAIL IF I DID WRONG. SO I'M GOING RESPECT YOU THE SAME WAY YOU RESPECT ME. >> You kind of came in a little little hostile. >> I came running cuz my sister's here. My sister is here. >> Check this. >> Yes, please. THAT'S ALL I'M ASKING. AIN'T NO REASON TO BE me about getting arrested. That don't phase me. >> Fine. Listen to me now. Just let me talk. Is that her boyfriend or is that her husband? >> That's her boyfriend. >> Her boyfriend got into a car chase like a dumb ass. She crashed his car here and he ran. We got him. That's it. That's it. That's it. >> Why he couldn't just say that though? Why he got to threat me about being arrested? >> Cuz you probably came a [ __ ] >> cuz you came in way up here. Walk away right now. >> I'M NOT EVEN TALKING TO YOU, SIR. I'M TALKING TO THEM. >> You're tying up three. >> I'm talking to them. That's because then you asked me if I want to know what's going on. SO NOW WE TALKING. >> COME OVER HERE AND TALK TO ME. >> THEY GOING TO PISS ME OFF. >> They going to piss me off. For real. For real. >> Boss, come here and talk to me if you want to talk to somebody. >> BUT I'M SAYING SO WHY IS THEY MAKING IT SO HARD EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY SISTER? INSTEAD, THEY WANT TO ME. I UNDERSTAND THAT. BUT YOU AIN'T GOT TO SIT HERE to me about going to jail. >> THAT'S THAT WAS SCARED ME. I'D HAVE BEEN THERE ALREADY. >> Once under control, police clearly explained the reasons behind the measures they had to take. >> Way more calmer than than these other >> you come in way up here. Let me tell the people, right? >> Yes, sir. >> So, if you probably come up and said, "Hey, man. What's going on here? I live here. I need to know what's going on." That would have probably been a lot different than where the my sister way up here. This that and the other, right? I'm trying to start, you know, we're going to start stuff. I heard all them comments. Right. >> Yes, sir. When you get up there, everybody else gets elevated and then it's a whole c situation that doesn't need to go there, right? Yes, sir. >> Essentially, I understand this is your house, but this is a situation that doesn't involve you and you don't need to be wrapped up in, right? >> Does involve me cuz it's at my house. This is where I lay my head at for peace. I don't we don't want no police here. So, FOR ME TO GET CALLED OFF OF WORK, LITERALLY, I'm going to get off in like 2 hours. I just got called late to come up here and run. I just had to run all the way from up THERE BY THE UH ZITRO. RAN ALL THE WAY FROM UP THERE TO GET HERE. SO, of course, I'm going TO BE PISSED. OF COURSE, I'm going to be mad and call my sister AT THAT. HELL YEAH. I GOT A right to be mad. >> But your little sister and all that like that. Yeah. He He took this problem here. So this ain't anybody else's fault but Jordan. He took this problem here. So us being here, I promise you at 5:00 in the afternoon, I didn't say I'm going to come to his house and mess with him today. He brought us here. So since he brought us here, we got to do our job so we can get out of here. The minute we have people coming up prolonging it and essentially putting themselves and making a situation way worse makes it a lot longer for us to get out of here. All right. My concern was this baby. My concern when we were here was this baby. He was in the back of this car. >> He did that [ __ ] while Lonnie was in >> 100%. >> What the You got to calm down. You ain't coming. These people, they just here to do their job. >> I admit I wasn't trying to come in, but in predict. Okay, so hear me out. My incident right now, my mom's in the hospital from a massive stroke. SHE'S ALL I GOT. YOU FEEL ME? SO WHEN I PULL UP and I I get a phone call saying it's 50 POLICE OFFICERS, 60 POLICE OFFICERS OUTSIDE, I GO straight up, >> that's that phone that I gave you. >> Then I just give it to somebody else. >> Then I give it back to you. Put this in your hand. >> Yeah, dude. But you ate. >> However, the vehicle [music] search continued to reveal several suspicious items linked to illegal activity. >> All right. >> Yeah. I'm just pumped. He was trying to run me over. I had my gun. I was like, "You come near me. I'm going to you." All right. He kept pushing the car towards me cuz there was a car between me and him and he was pushing my car and that other car just pushing it towards me. And there was a gap that was about wide enough to fit a car through. He if he would have kept going, he would have went I was right behind you. >> I didn't see you jump it, but I was like, man, I cleared that thing. Visitexmug >> if you want. We went straight that way. >> I was say I can walk you through it if you're going to be if he wants to go with me. >> If you want it's like if you did you see him. >> He's got guns and stuff in here and he was coming out of one of the parks where they often. >> We were calling both feet behind him and [clears throat] he was walking away. >> I want them not have the car seat. What's that? >> French fries and stuff. We're giving it to her, right? >> Yeah. Just put it right here for now. Uh right across from the not the community center parking lot, but that additional parking lot they have that's often tucked in the woods by the golf course. We came out there, pulled into a parking spot at those apartments and then started ramming right there. It's like the first or second car. It's like the first or second car in that parking lot of those apartments there. >> Fine pass and the park goes off to the right and the apartments are to the left >> and it's like he immediately hooked and parked into a parking spot, backed up, started my car with the back of his car and then >> that's that's in the apartments. the park. >> I was definitely No, I was pumped up cuz he backed up in my car and then he started ramming me coming towards me and was ramming my car. Luckily, there was a car and I had almost enough room to fit a car through, but he kept gassing it to the point where his tires were spinning and so I moved over and I had him at gunpoint. I was like, "If you come for me, I'm going to shoot you." And I told him multiple times he finally backed up and went around my car, but and then couldn't get out that way, so he went through a fence and I I feel like I was good to chase him. I hope I was because >> if Do you um do you have a >> Yeah. >> All right. Lab out. No, I'm not. I was just really pumped up because I thought he was about to run me up. >> Everything. So, I thought we'll hold it for a second. >> Do we have somebody over there walking? >> Yeah. Yeah. Christian's over there. >> Do we have to Is it an evidence thing to come out? >> No, it's I got a small with ammo. >> Okay. >> And in the trunk. Just It ain't enough for the I don't think it's scales. >> Okay. >> With a bunch of bags and scales right there. I don't have any damage hardly. He had hit. >> That's That's not what I'm talking about. water in there. >> Yeah. >> All right. Go in your car. Open the >> It's rusted. It's a little piece of junk. It had a full magazine, though. And he's got a sticker from the smoke shop on there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. My first second pit ever. Kind of a ram, but I mean, I didn't get no damage to my car, but I didn't want him to go any further. I didn't know he was going to try to stop here. I pitted him right here. And I was hitting the brakes and I see the car spinning in the road. >> I wasn't going to let him keep driving in this neighborhood like that. More seriously, the man did not have a driver's license, which created a dangerous situation for others, including his own child. >> So, I'm coming up to the park right there. Not the community center park, but the little extra parking lot they have that borders the golf course. He's coming out there. The windows are dark dark. I go pull him over. He's kind of driving like trying to get away from me, but he pulls into a parking spot. So, I was like, maybe he's just nervous and pulled into a parking spot. He starts backing into my patrol car trying to get turned around. That's when he started me like right here. >> Then he comes back. >> Yeah. And that's when I was like pull my gun out and I was like, "Show me your hands. Show me your hands. Show me your hands." >> He finally was able to back out of the parking spot. This is my car. He's on this side like as if he's that car, but he's facing towards me. >> There's a parked car right here. >> There's about this much room and he's ramming the side of my car and that car coming towards me, pushing both cars into me. So I'm backing up. I back up and I move off to the left. Still got my draw. I was like, "If you come any further, I'm going to shoot you. I'm gonna shoot you. Stop. Stop." He finally he's burning tires trying to pushing the cars towards me. He puts in reverse, tries to go around my car, sees he can't fit, backs up, turns around, and goes through. There's a white plastic fence there. Drives straight through that white plastic fence. I followed him through it slowly, get out to the intersection, and he's going left onto Spring Road. I think that Silver Silver Road. So, I turn left, go after him. He's passing cars, and I get up behind him. We make a ride on the Oak Road. Come over here. We end up over here. We turn into here. We come up this way. I pit him right here, spin him around, he go, we go through this mailbox. I might have ran the mailbox over while I was doing the pit. And he goes back there, bells out. I bail out after him. We go over I think it was one street, jump into someone's backyard and that's where I got him. >> Do you think he had anything with him? >> He has a >> know anything on him that he >> I don't know. K9's doing a I don't think he did cuz everything was in the truck >> that we know of. >> Yeah, that we know of. >> Okay. >> He don't have a license. If that's his ID card I found in the middle console does not have a license >> and I haven't ran him or nothing. >> Okay. >> Why don't you sit down for a second? >> I'm good. I'm calm down now. I was when I first got I was >> caring. >> I know. I I'm not worried about this one. It just It upset me. I thought he was going to run me over. >> I need you to relax. >> The driver faced multiple charges including fleeing [music] and eluding law enforcement, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, child inment, possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, possession of a by an unlawful person, and driving without a license.
