I'm confused. How are you going to pay your bill with your phone? >> I'm going to ask people on Facebook to pay my bill. >> What? >> It would be stealing if I took the cup. >> It would be stealing if I >> She has $20 that was given to her by another patron. That she said I don't think I have enough money, so they gave her a 20. So, she has a 20 in her possession that was given to her from somebody else here to help her pay. Can you pay the bill? Yes or no. Don't say maybe. Don't say any [ __ ] I'm asking you man to man and person to person. >> If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this. Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. They knew their apps could contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues, but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits. The recent historic verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions. Now, Morgan and Morgan are stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they caused. Click the link in my bio to take a short quiz. You may be entitled to potential recovery of over $1,000. So, there are plenty of ways to save money when you go out to eat. You can order water. You can skip the appetizers. Maybe don't add the extra bacon to your burger. But, the people in today's compilation chose a much more creative way to save money while dining out. They just, you know, eat the entire meal and then refuse to pay for it. Apparently, all these people thought that the check was optional and the police were just maybe a part of the restaurant's reward program. But, once the body cams start rolling, we're about ready to see some of the wildest excuses, boldest lies, and most embarrassing attempts to turn dining into a criminal case. Go So yourself a snack, preferably one that you actually paid for, and let's watch four of the wildest dine and dash body cams that I've covered on the channel so far. Okay, so tonight we are at a pizza place in Florida. A place where expectations should be simple. You eat the pizza, you pay the bill, you go home. Unfortunately though, our main character tonight is deciding that paying for her meal is just a vibe and not an actual requirement. >> On April 4th, 2024, officers responded to a call regarding a woman refusing to pay for her pizza. >> [ __ ] awesome. Bro, I swear. >> Let's see if we can get this figured out. >> No. I need my boyfriend to pay my bill. And then And what happened was my other phone My phone doesn't have Wi-Fi in there. >> Let's take this outside. >> Sorry. >> I I can't. >> My dad did 44 years in the NYPD. >> Okay. >> You can call him. >> That doesn't matter. >> It does matter. I had money in my account and now I don't. >> He's in charge here. >> Okay. I had money in my account and now I don't. >> Okay. >> This happens to me all the time. My car broke down. Your Your like You can see it. >> Well, you need to pay your bill. >> I know. I'm going to make money if I have my phone to make money. >> Well, you need to pay your bill now. >> Okay. You have to take me to jail. >> Okay. So you're not going to pay your bill? >> No. I'm going to pay my bill if I have my phone. I can't >> to pay your bill right now? >> I'm going to try. >> Where's your phone? >> In the car. >> Hang on. My bag. >> Probably in my bag or sometimes it vanishes cuz God just does that [ __ ] to me. >> Then >> What? [laughter] What? What is she talking about? There's so much to process already. So her phone's Wi-Fi is not working, so that's why she can't access her money. God apparently moves her phone sometimes, so she thinks it's in her purse. Her ex-boyfriend was going to pay for her food or something, and money just mysteriously exits her bank account, and it happens sometimes. [laughter] Oh, let's not forget that her dad was on the police force, which these officers really sound like they could give two shits about. So, um she says she's going to pay. Let's Let's find out if she actually pays. Let's see if her phone is still in her bag and if she can access Wi-Fi or if, you know, God hit it again. >> I'm confused. How are you going to pay your bill with your phone? >> I'm going to ask people on Facebook to pay my bill, Morgan Wallen. He does He does do that. >> What? She's going to ask people on Facebook to pay her bill? Is she one of those internet beggars? Is she an internet beggar? Is she just going to like sit on Facebook and be like, "Somebody pay my bill. I'm too pretty to pay for anything." Is she one of those people? Please tell me she's not one of these people. >> do that. >> Well, hopefully we can. >> We'll wait out here for you. Do you have a driver's license? >> Yes, I do. >> Where's that? >> In there. >> All right. So, you >> I had money in my account. >> Are we going to pay the bill today? >> I want to. >> Not with asking Morgan Wallen to pay >> [laughter] >> the [ __ ] bill. >> Okay. My dad. >> Your dad means nothing to me. To be completely honest, he means nothing. >> I know, NYPD cops hate you guys, too. >> That's fine. I It doesn't matter that he's NYPD or not. Your dad is not any >> My mom can pay my bill. If we I went to her house to try to get it. >> Okay, is your mom willing to come here and pay your bill right now? >> Yes, if you call her. >> Okay. >> If you call her, she's not going to believe me. She thinks I'm a psycho. She's stealing my kids from >> [laughter] >> Imagine that. Her mother thinks that she's psycho. She's acting like a psycho. And she's acting so annoyed at these police officers. Is it Is it just me? It seems like she has such an attitude problem. Like she can't believe that these police officers and the pizza place and everybody is such an inconvenience to her. Yeah, no wonder your mother thinks you're crazy. It's going to take a police officer to talk to your mother so that she'll pay for your slice of pizza. Seriously? That is how unhinged you have shown your mother that you are. Oh, boy. >> Oh, boy. >> I mean, we can trauma bond all day long, but we're not going to do that. >> Okay. Is this your vehicle? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. Are you a registered owner of the vehicle? >> Yes, I am. >> You don't have anything inside this vehicle to pay your bill. >> No, I have $7 on me. I can pay my bill. >> Copy. 15 St. Johns. >> My friend can come and pay it for me. He will do that. I need someone to do that. >> Okay. What's your bill? I'm sorry. >> I can print it. >> Okay. Cool. >> She's sitting here trying to come up with all this stuff about how she wants to try to get in the finest. We're not going to let her do it. >> Yeah. She didn't have a car that she >> Did she have a car? >> Yes, she She walked here. Like she walked in here with no car. And then she drove off in that marine car. So that's Someone had to dropped like I was like either she's a magician She's a movie star that's just trying to cause trouble for PR. Like I don't know what. I just can't read it all and I'm like >> Clarion >> So he said that she got dropped off not in that car. And then suddenly that's her car. I mean, maybe I It's feasible that that is her car. I mean, if she can get into the car, clearly it's her car. Maybe she was somewhere else with somebody and she left her car there and then they dropped her off to get some food and to take her car and go home. I mean, I've done that kind of situation before where like I've met up with somebody someplace, left my car there, we rode together someplace and then I came back to get my car. That could be the kind of situation. But to just walk in and order food with no way to pay for it, how do you think this is going to go? >> Pay my bill. >> Larry? Who's Larry? >> Larry, my ex-boyfriend. All my ex-boyfriends are friends of mine. They'll pay my bill. They they have jobs. But I need my phone to work to call them and my phone is dead. I can go to my house and charge it. >> Um do you guys want to just fresh charge it? >> She can't pay her bill. >> I can walk there and leave my car here and my bag here. >> Okay. You leave your bag here? You stay here often? There >> I'm a squatter. >> Okay. All right. Where is your residence right now? >> Right there, 130. >> Which car did you come here >> And literally just said I'm a squatter. She said I'm a squatter and her mother's trying to take her kids from her. She's a real peach. She's a real peach with an attitude problem. >> The red car. >> It's my usual. Perfect. Perfect. You said you're not going to pay this? >> No, I am going to pay it tomorrow. >> Okay, so if you help me, all right. Come on, you guys want your bag? >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Like you want to call in person? >> You do. You're going to jail right now for defrauding an innkeeper. >> I didn't defraud. What the >> You're failing to pay your bill. >> I'm not here failing to pay my bill. I need my bag so I can make some phone calls. And my pizza and my meal. >> No, you're not taking that ever. They don't take food in jail. >> Oh, I got to have friends in the room, right? Oh. No, I'm not going to my kids taken. you. >> Thank you. >> Oh, okay. >> Oh, that would have been bad. Do you have anything on you that's going to go to the jail? >> a knife. >> Same chance. >> be. >> Okay. >> She got a knife? >> [laughter] >> Where is she keeping it? Is she bringing her purse? Where is she keeping a knife? She was in this little sundress. This is not going to help her case trying to prevent her mother from taking her kids from her. Is she on something or is this just how she is? Like I can't I genuinely can't tell. Let me know what you think down in the comments. Is she on something or is this just her? Is this just her attitude problem? I am I cannot believe people like this exist. >> I should get my bag so I can call my dad. Help. You can be my bill. >> She's going to be 10-15 from where I'm standing. >> I'm not a defrauder. This [ __ ] happens to me all the time. You will your friends know me. >> So, you said you have a a knife up your >> Yes, I do. You want to come get it? >> No. >> That >> [laughter] >> That is THAT IS WHERE HER KNIFE IS. It's She's got a knife in her And she literally said to him, "YOU WANT TO COME GET IT?" WHY DOES SHE HAVE A KNIFE SHOVED up there? Why? What is the purpose of that? Is she She must be crazy. She's got to be crazy. >> I do not think so, [ __ ] >> Okay. Good. Thanks. So you know, appreciate it. Holy cow. >> Yeah, it's not worth going before >> Well, there's a bunch in here. Did she buy that one from you guys? >> Well, yes. She bought it from us, yeah. >> [laughter] >> And then she brought these? >> Yeah, those were in there. No matter what. >> Got you. >> Thanks, officer. >> Yeah, no problem, guys. Y'all have a good one. I appreciate you. Cool. We were just as we pulled up, where he he said he's in training. He said, "Have you been here?" I said, "No, not yet. I need to come check it out." >> Well, you guys if you guys have a break a little bit later, your pizza's on me, okay? >> Cool. Papa 2163 St. Johns. Okay. Is there a female deputy that can meet 51 to us by chance? She's saying she has a signal zero in an inappropriate place. >> [laughter] >> She has a signal zero in an inappropriate place. We need a female deputy. Female deputy, please, to um get this knife out of her cooter. >> She's on her cell phone. Um her name is Danielle. >> Hi, Danielle. >> Hi, how are you? >> Shitty day. Oh, you look so pretty. >> Thank you. I was going to my boyfriend's house, but he I didn't want to stop. >> pretty to go to a >> Well, I I was at the pub waiting for him to come get me >> Real quick. >> Come on out here. Just going to You said you got something up there? >> No, I don't. I was kidding. >> Well, that's something to joke about. >> to kind of check. >> Really? >> Yeah, not going to Yeah, I'm not going to do a whole >> This dumbass, you can't say that you are concealing a weapon up your hoochie mama and then think, "Oh, I was just kidding. I was just kidding." Oh, she getting patted down now. She getting patted down now. They didn't call that female deputy in for no reason. >> Um I was kidding. >> she does that, let me ask you I just talked to your mom on the phone and she said that you didn't pay your bill at some bar last night. >> No, because this happens to me all the time. >> you didn't have money to pay your bill last night >> I have 7.5 million dollars. All right, he's just he asked a question. >> He's being an [ __ ] >> No, he's asking a question. This is a job. >> My dad did 44 years in the NYPD. I did 20 years in the NYPD. >> Okay, so >> I'm retired. >> No, you're not. >> I don't believe you. >> [laughter] >> You are a police officer? I don't believe you and I don't think they do either. >> No, you're not. >> Do you have anything up your hoo-ha? >> No. God, I don't want to look. >> I know. >> I I don't >> I'm going to I'm going to check it. >> Just at least do a pat down. >> Step out. I have to be like I can't thing because my legs are stuck cuz they're chubby. >> You're athletic, you're not chubby. And don't call us chubby woman. All right, just put your stomach up there. Your dress is so cute. >> Yeah, thank you. >> All right. >> I need my bag. >> I need Go ahead, we're going to get it. Go ahead. >> Thank you. >> All right. Hands tight for me, okay? >> Thank you. >> Thanks. >> NYPD, huh? >> So, when it comes down to it, she was just charged with defrauding an innkeeper. It just means, you know, she just walked into a place, she basically purchased something and didn't pay for it. But, she did have some She had some beers in her bag. She had some beers in her bag and um apparently she was on the police department, which I think, you know, is a big fat lie. This all could have ended if she would have just paid her bill or didn't go order food knowing you can't pay your bill. Instead, it ended in handcuffs. And this is because entitlement is not legal tender. And Morgan Wallen is not your emergency contact. Pay for what you eat, handle your business, and don't turn pizza night into a criminal record, you [ __ ] So, today's bodycam video is quite an interesting one because it starts with a free cup of water and somehow ends in felony charges. >> Surveillance footage shows this young man enter a Firehouse Subs and ask for a water cup. An employee then catches him getting a soda instead of [music] water, and she approaches him to choose the water option for him on the touch screen. However, the male then backs out of the water option and pours himself more soda. He then leaves, leaving the employee frustrated. She then calls the police as the male is now sitting outside the restaurant watching YouTube while sipping on his stolen soda. >> Brandon. Staff called because they want you trespassed from here. >> Hello. >> Staff called because you've been going in there taking water and stealing soda and not really serving any purpose being here, so they want you trespassed. Do you understand what that means? Means you're no longer welcome here, and if you come back you're going to get a ticket. >> So, she walked up calling him Brandon. Did the people inside of Firehouse Subs know his name was Brandon, or has he just had his run-in with this cop before? Could go either way. >> I'm going back to Firehouse Subs. >> You're trespassed. >> This for you. >> I can't hear you. That's what? >> What they're saying is I stole what? What I stole? >> They said you've been going in there taking water, drinking soda, not really serving any legitimate purpose being there, being a paying customer, or none of that, so they want you trespassed. >> I paid for you. >> Okay. Today? >> Not today, but I paid for you. >> Okay. Well, you can't just go in there and take water and take soda and >> I I asked for a cup of water. They gave it >> Okay. Well, they don't want you here anymore, so Any questions about that? >> No. >> Okay. If you come back you're going to get a ticket, so that includes like this whole area here. All right. So, then you got to get up and walk away. >> What's up? >> You got to talk louder. I can't trespass you. That's the law. >> Who the hell does he think he is telling a police officer that they can't trespass him? Okay, the establishment wants him trespassed. So, now the officers are officially telling him, "You're trespassed." And he has the nerve to say, "You can't trespass me." Oh, yes you can. Or I can. That's what I'm doing. >> They want you trespassed. >> No, it doesn't matter who. An employee here. I'm telling you to leave now or you're going to get a ticket cuz I've already trespassed you. Yes, I can. >> Are you the owner of Firehouse Subs? >> It don't matter. It does not matter. >> Does he not realize that this is a police officer? They can ticket, they can do whatever they need to do. Hello? It doesn't Oh my god. He's So, it sounds like to me he's trying to be sassy and trying to say that she really can't do anything to him because she's not the manager of Firehouse Subs or whatever, you know, completely ignoring the fact that, you know, she's a police officer. It's fine. Whatever. We all have a feeling how this is going to end, right? >> Leave the property now. I'm telling you to leave. >> Are you the manager of Firehouse Subs? >> It don't matter. I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you. You need to leave. Leave. Yep, I did. >> Let's go, dude. >> Do you want to go to jail? >> You can You can put me in jail? >> Yes. Oh, I will. Yeah. Get off the property. >> Get off the property. >> Are you the manager of Firehouse Subs? >> It don't matter. >> It does. >> Get off of the property. >> Dude, you're going to go to jail? Just walk away. >> Can you get them to contact the manager? >> No, it's not worth it. They want you trespassed. >> They want you trespassed. It's not worth it. Let's go. >> and see what he does. >> Get the manager to contact Firehouse Subs. >> past again, we'll take him to jail. >> Take me to jail? You're going to take me to jail? >> Leave the property. >> of Firehouse Subs. >> Dude, you can go and stand over there. You can go stand over there. You cannot go on any UWSP properties or this building. >> But as soon as you contact the manager of Firehouse Subs, I'll leave. >> that you request. You don't get that right. >> you contact the manager of Firehouse Subs >> No. >> is when I leave. >> No. >> Brendan, we don't have an issue. If you just walk away, we're all good. Like but if you if you try walking back, you're going to go to jail. You got >> Yeah, that's definitely how that >> No. >> As soon as the manager says I have I have been banned from Firehouse Subs is when I'll be banned from Firehouse Subs. >> Get off the property. >> I've been banned from Firehouse Subs. >> help if the employees don't want you there? Cuz the employees don't want you there. >> with employees sitting outside of Firehouse Subs. >> what? I'm fine, too. I like you. >> Can you contact the manager so we can situate this? Okay. >> 223 Tom, what are his bond conditions? Do you understand what bond conditions are? >> No. >> Okay, so you're out on bond cuz you committed a crime. Okay, so you can't commit any other crime. >> I'm not committing a crime. >> No, not yet. But if you come back on this property, I'll take you to jail for DC. >> I'm not taking you. >> Oh, she's got a whole lot of power right now. Oh, she's got a lot of power. Do you think she's going to use it? So, yeah, he's out on bond, which means he's, you know, not allowed to commit another crime while out on a bond. And if he does not leave this property after being officially trespassed, he is then committing another crime while on bond. Now, she has the option to put up with his [ __ ] for a while and just try to coerce him to leave or she could literally take him in right now because she has clearly given him enough opportunity to leave and he's refusing to leave and he is now officially violating trespass. Now, whether or not she chooses to bring him in for violation of trespass is completely up to her, but this guy is out on bond. He better start slowly tiptoeing away from this property, otherwise he's going to be in a lot bigger trouble than we originally thought. >> Actually, I can >> Okay, no, you can't. >> Yeah, you cannot because the manager never said >> It does not matter. >> Manager never said The manager never said that I was banned from Firehouse Subs for sitting outside of Firehouse Subs. >> Do you want us to physically remove you from the property? Do you want us to do that? >> can't. You literally can't. >> We will physically remove you. >> You can't. Contact the manager of Firehouse Subs. >> I love that he's telling police officers what they can and cannot do. >> [laughter] >> You cannot physically remove me. Yes, we can. Yes, yes, absolutely we can. That's what the uniform is for, and we've given you warnings, and this is all on body cam. Why does this guy think that he knows better than law enforcement? Why? Why does he think he knows better? He seems to think that because the manager themselves of Firehouse Subs hasn't trespassed him that he has every right to be there. This is one of the dumbest reasons to get arrested I think I've ever seen. >> If he wants to go to jail, he'll keep going. You're making a choice. Go ahead. Go ahead. I told you you're trespassed. I told you to walk away. You're not listening. It don't matter. It don't matter. >> They said they want you trespassed. >> Stay here with that officer. You're not free to leave yet. >> Hello. >> Hey. >> I'm the one. >> The manager? >> I am. I'm the one that called. Yeah, let's talk over here. And she can give you information, too, cuz he's coming on nights, but she's here if you need anything. >> He sold soda? >> He sold soda today, yes. So, we gave him a water cup. I walked him right up to the machine. I said, "The water's right here." He went back and took something else. And >> Took a soda? >> Took a soda, yeah. >> Dude, they said if want you trespassed. It's it's that big of a deal. Just don't come back. Why Why does that matter, dude? Yeah, I understand it, dude. Dude dude >> Um he's refusing to leave, so I'm going to take him to jail. >> Perfect. Actually, I'm going to come back in with some paperwork. I'm going to take him to jail for theft. >> Okay. Did he cause any disturbance in here? >> I wouldn't say disturbance, but there was an incident where like he made a few people feel uncomfortable cuz he stood up and went really loud on Sunday. Yeah, so he screamed a little bit. >> But but that was on Sunday. >> That was on Sunday. >> That was not today. >> Today he took soda. Again, and the funny thing is and not funny, but if you look at the table that's out there in one of the chairs, there's a clear Solo cup. That's literally the cup he used to come in and take soda on Saturday. >> Okay, I'm going to get him tucked away and I'll be right back. Perfect. I appreciate it. >> That cup has been out there since Saturday and you didn't throw it away? Really? Show some appreciation for like your property. Don't just leave trash outside for days on end. Might seem petty, but damn, throw away a freaking plastic cup, why don't you? >> What's the point in this? >> Cuz I don't like eating trash. >> Dude, I understand that. Brother, do you I I understand that. They're But they're saying you're stealing into >> Tell me I'm banned from Firehouse Subs. >> All right, put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. >> I'm under arrest for what? >> You don't have to fight. >> Do not fight us. >> Do not fight. All right, we're going to stand here. >> I am standing. >> Now you got resisting arrest. >> Stop. >> 241 he's fighting. 241 he's fighting. >> You have never ever stolen anything. You can put me in jail. >> Yes, you did. >> No, I didn't. >> Yes, you did. >> You gave me a cup of water. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind your back. Do it I'm not losing my job over this. I'm not losing my job. Stop. >> I have one handcuff. >> I have his hand. >> I'm not losing my job over this. >> Let him do it, man. >> You made a choice. >> I need his hand. >> I'm I'm not one of those cops. I need his left hand. >> I'm not losing >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm not losing my job over this. I didn't steal anything. They gave me a cup of water. That's what I did. I didn't steal anything. You can't put me in jail over this. >> Yes. >> No, you can't. You cannot put me in jail over this. You literally can't put me in jail over this. They gave me a cup of water. That's what the I did. You can't put me in jail over this. That's dumb. I didn't steal anything. >> You need to be searched. >> You're trying to put me in jail for that. I didn't steal anything. They gave me a cup of water. That's what the I did. You can't put me in jail over that. >> I'm saying you took soda. >> Soda? >> Yes, sir. >> Soda? THEY GAVE ME A CUP. THAT'S NOT [ __ ] STEALING. >> But you said they gave you a cup. >> They gave me a cup. That is not stealing. That is not stealing. >> Did you get him on that, squad? >> Hell no, you're not putting me in jail over this. >> Okay. Okay. >> Hell no. >> My key fob doesn't work. Good. >> I'm not going to jail over this. They gave me a cup. I'm not going to jail over this. I'm not going to jail over this. >> Brenda, stop resisting. >> They gave me a cup. It is not [ __ ] stealing. It'll be stealing if I took the cup. It would be STEALING IF I TOOK >> THANKS, GUYS. >> SURE, we're just coming to get her. >> [laughter] >> IT'S NOT STEALING. SLAM. THAT IS THEIR WAY OF SAYING, "DUDE, shut the [ __ ] up." >> Okay. >> I'm not going to [ __ ] jail. I'm going to get shot today. Oh, Jesus Christ, I'm getting shot. I'm getting shot. I'm not going in there. Hell no, I'm not going in there. I'm getting shot today. >> Anybody want a soda? >> I'm good. >> Are you the assistant manager? >> Uh I know. I'm her mother. She's the general manager. >> Okay, can I talk to her real quick? >> You were the one that got the earpiece knocked out. You did good. >> Something else knocked out. I was trying to bring him to the ground, but >> you look kind of young, so it wasn't a too bad of an experience. >> That's all right. >> Next time call me out there, man, cuz I'm 62. I ain't got much life left, so >> No, he followed you. >> Yeah, we were watching the whole time. That was not fun. >> That's what I didn't want to deal with in here. >> Yeah, that all makes sense. >> Cuz he was going to get confrontational. >> So, I'm going to grab a non-permission affidavit form. We're taking him to jail cuz he stole a soda. >> Yep. >> All right, so as far as that goes, I'll have you fill it out. Do you have like cameras and stuff? >> We do have cameras. I would have to have I can call my owner. She has access to it on her phone. >> And he lives just around the corner or what? Well, I wanted to drop him to the ground, but actually he just kept holding him against the wall, so >> The manager, you never said I got banned from the property. >> I said you were banned. >> No, shut the [ __ ] up. I'mma punch the [ __ ] out of you when I GET OUT OF THESE CUFFS. OH, JESUS CHRIST, I'LL PUNCH the glass off your [ __ ] face. Shut the [ __ ] up. WHEN I SEE YOU WHEN I GET OUT OF THESE CUFFS, OH, JESUS CHRIST, I'LL PUNCH THE [ __ ] OUT OF >> THAT'S A FELONY. >> OKAY, BET. >> Oh my god, he was sitting there threatening her. Yeah, let's just let's just keep making it worse. Let's just make it worse and worse and worse. So, this whole situation started with a cup of soda that cost under $4. But, the moment that the employee said that he wasn't welcome there anymore, the situation stopped being about soda and turned into something entirely different. Just simply refusing to leave the property. And he just kept arguing. He kept pushing the boundaries. And eventually, he turned a minor dispute into handcuffs, resisting charges, and multiple other offenses. All because he couldn't accept one simple outcome. Just take the loss and leave. And but instead of walking away with a bruised ego, he had a trip to jail over a soda. All right, so imagine turning an $8 Applebee's bill into a full-blown arrest on a city bus. >> Another exciting day at Applebee's. >> Yeah. >> How you doing? Did you just leave Applebee's? >> No. >> No? Well, they were pointing at you. >> Huh? >> Were you at Applebee's? They said no. You sure? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How you doing? This is Officer Camacho with the Applebee's Department. So, one of your employees was pointing out a person that ran out on the tab. But, they said >> Yes. >> the the female that's underneath the tent is not in a scooter. There is a heavy-set female that's on a scooter over here by the SunTran stop. So, I'm trying to confirm what what did the person look like? >> Okay. One second. >> Well, I am not trying to sound judgy here. I am really not, okay? But, this woman is clearly identifiable. She is a heavy-set woman on a scooter. Pretty easy to identify, I think. And the fact that this police officer walked up and was like, "Were you just in Applebee's?" No. >> [laughter] >> Me thinks she was in the Applebee's. >> anytimeatapplebees.com For hours of operation, specials, and address, please press one. To place an order, please press >> This is already too much. I'll order Applebee's to go instead. Choose from the whole menu. Order and pay online. Pick it up and now you're home free. >> She gone. SHE GONE. OH, she probably thinks she got away with it. She probably thinks that she got away with it. All she had to do was say, "No." A couple of times, the police stepped away, she hopped her happy ass on that bus, and now she gone. >> Thank you for calling Happy Pizza Galleria. This is Ty. >> Hey, it's Officer Camacho. I got disconnected. I was I was trying to figure out uh the description on the female that ran out on uh >> Is her scooter still over there? Her scooter was still over there. Wait, is she still there? She's still The bus literally stopped where her scooter was, but her scooter is still there. Did she leave it? I'm so confused right now. Was that not her scooter? >> Y'all's tab. >> Yes, sir. That is her. And um my server that she walked out on said she'll have like a design by her eye. Like makeup design. >> Okay. All right. Yes, so So, it's the heavy-set female, then. Yeah. Okay, perfect. I'll All right. I got to run down the bus. All right. All right. All right, thank you. >> Okay, so it was her. She did get on the bus. He's running down the bus to stop it now, but why is the scooter still there? I'm so confused by the scooter. Was that not her scooter? Like I know that like here and I'm sure in a lot of major cities, there's like scooters that you can rent and you like ride around town and you pay by the by the hour or whatever, but that was like a motorized cart scooter, like someone would have that they would use on a regular basis. Do they have those for people to like shuttle their ass around town in some places, too? I don't know. Let me know down in the comments. Is it the same kind of thing as like the scooters that you can ride on in big cities? Or do they have those that you can rent too? She literally left the scooter on the side of the road. Or is that her scooter? And she just hopped onto this bus to get the [ __ ] out of there because she knew the cops were going to come for her ass. Could go either way. Could go either way. >> Unit 66, made contact with the caller. Everything's 10-4. 10-4. The other now 1131 street that are in the town. >> Yes, sir. >> So sorry. Come on. Let's go. Come on. Let's go. >> 10-14. Where you located in the town? >> Listen, this can go really easy or it can go bad for you. You decide how you want to do it. Ma'am, let's go. All you got to do is pay whatever you ate and that's it. Ma'am, I don't want to have to drag you out of here. Come on. >> 5311 again. 5311. >> This guy. [laughter] This guy's like, I'm getting out of here. I don't want any part of this. I got an appointment to get to. Who knows how long it's going to take before he gets her ass off the bus. I'm GTFO. Sayonara. See you later. >> Can I get 55 in front of Calabasas? I got somebody that just skipped out on a bill from Applebee's and I got a >> Oh yeah, no everybody, everybody's getting off. >> [laughter] >> I must have missed the part where the police officer was like, "Everybody needs to go. Everybody needs to get out of here." Maybe he didn't say it, maybe I didn't miss it, maybe everybody is just like instinctually saying, "We got to go. We're like this is not our fight. We got to get out of here." And they are vacating the bus so that he can deal with this woman. >> Detain over here. They uh ordered a bus. Ma'am, let's go. >> 10-4 back here at the Garrett Town Center 32. >> Let's go. I don't want to hurt you. Come on. The person just acting like they're asleep. They're refusing to move. Ma'am, let's go. Ma'am, let's go. Ma'am, come on. Let's go. Ma'am, let's go. All you got to do is pay what you owe them and you're not going to go to jail. If you >> I'm sorry, but there's no way he's getting her off that bus by himself. There's no way. I'm not again, I'm not trying to sound mean, but she's she is a very heavy-set woman. There's no way that he is getting her off that bus by himself. She's going to dead fish it and he's going to have no choice but to just either wait for reinforcements or roll her out? I don't know. >> Keep resisting, I'm going to charge you with a resisting and I'm going to take you to jail. Do you understand that? Do you understand that? Staying quiet is not going to change what's going to happen, okay? >> Do you think she's trying to like manifest him away as she's sitting there? Go away. I'm not getting arrested. He's not even here. When I open my eyes, I will be at my destination. >> [laughter] >> What happened? I was helping you. >> No, no, no, no. She's she skipped on a on a tab on Applebee's. >> Well, that's basically stealing. >> Yeah, it is super simple. Super simple. All she got to do is pay, she won't go to jail, but she wants to keep playing games, but she decided to skip on the on on the check. Simple. All they wanted was for her to pay. I made contact with her while she was at the bus stop. She's like, "No, I wasn't at Applebee's." And they were not 100%. So, I called the info. They're like, "No, yes, it was her and she got uh the sign on the eye. So, I come in and now she's acting like she's asleep. She don't want to move. And I I'm going to I'm going to hurt her trying to pull her out of here. >> She's about to pull up so we can have all three. >> That's That's her bag. And I'm telling her like, "Listen, stop acting cuz it's as simple as you pay up and there's no harm, no foul." But now I'm going to take her for resisting and >> Right. >> it's on her. I don't I don't get I don't get why people got to do stuff like that. >> Can we talk about this real quick? This can go a lot easier if you just talk to us, okay? Nobody wants to hurt you. >> Tina 1300 198 >> Can you tell us your name? >> It's her name. >> She was fine when I talked to her at the bus station. As soon as she seen me board, that's that's what she did. >> Yeah. >> I got to book her as Jane Doe, that's that's what's going to be. Not what I really want to do. Swear to God. >> I know, bro. >> So, she ran out of the tab and police comes out, points in the direction she's in. I make contact with her. She says, "No, I wasn't at Applebee's." They didn't have the full description perfectly. The other person came out, described her to a T including the the little tattoo design on the on the eye. So, I come I saw her board the bus, so I stopped the bus. I get in and now she's acting like she's asleep. I'll tell her, "Listen, all they want is pay their tab, no harm, no foul." I gave her a bunch of chances, talk to me. And now I'm going to charge her with resisting. Now at this point, this is where we at. But, limited space and me yoga, I don't want to hurt her, but I mean, at this point She's tried Yeah, at this point, she is definitely for resisting. Ma'am, do you understand you're being arrested? We'll probably need another pair. Yeah, we're going to need definitely another pair. >> I mean, is she exercising her right to remain silent? Is that Is that what this has been the whole time? And if she's just choosing to be quiet and not answer questions, why are her eyes closed? I mean, this is weird. This is really, really weird. It's literally an $8 Applebee's tab, and she has the money to pay it. So, why is she not paying it? >> Ma'am, stand up. Stand up. Oh. up. Stand up. We don't want to hurt you. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. Come on. >> Help me. >> We don't want to drag you out. You just stand up. >> on. >> 1 2 3. Stand. Stand. Stand. Stand. Come on. Come on. >> All the way. >> Get up. Yes, you can. >> Stand all the way up. >> I'm 400 some pounds. >> Come on. >> You can get up. >> stand up. 1 2 3. Let's go. There you go. >> There you go. >> There you go. >> Thank you. >> Her bag? >> Yeah, that's her bag. Thank you. Ma'am, do you have anything on you that's illegal? Any weapons or anything? We don't want you going into the jail with anything cuz it becomes a bigger problem once you get to the jail. Is there anything illegal on you? >> The suspect was apprehended and taken to the county jail for skipping on her tab at Applebee's. Charged with innkeeping and resisting arrest. >> Uh-huh. Yeah. She should have just paid it. Why? Why? And I just want to say that mug shot is something else. Oh, it's not a good look. It's not a good look. That's the thing that I don't understand. There was a patron in Applebee's. When she wasn't paying her bill, she probably said she didn't have money or something. A patron gave her a $20 bill to pay her $8 tab. They gave her more than double the money that she needed. And what? She just decided, "Oh, I'm just going to keep this 20 and just, you know, waddle out the store and not pay my tab?" Seriously? And then when she gets caught on the bus, she's just going to sit there and get a resisting charge? And what the hell did she get at Applebee's that was only $8 and wasn't really worth all of this? I highly doubt it. You know, at some point, it's really not about the bill anymore. It's not about the money. It's about choices. And this is a masterclass in how to turn a tiny problem into a life-size one. Imagine going to a restaurant. You sit down, you order some drinks, a full-blown meal, knowing damn well that you don't have one damn dollar to pay for it. That is exactly what this guy did. And if that wasn't bad enough, it turns into something way bigger. >> On April 1st, 2026, officers were dispatched to a restaurant in response to a report of a customer attempting to leave without paying. >> I'm not saying he's trying to beat the bill. If he is trying to beat the bill, he's trying to beat the bill. You can deal with that from that point. >> It's a $208 tab though. It's not a small tab. >> If it was 50 bucks, I would write this off and not really give a [ __ ] We'd just follow the runner and say he just walked out and call it a day. >> What? $208? Is this like a five-star freaking restaurant? $208? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, I'd be pissed, too. I'd be pissed, too. Like I was thinking to myself, I'm like, okay, so we've seen before, like we saw the lady who had an $8 Applebee's tab and they sent the cops after her because the restaurant was just that petty. They are not just being petty. This dude racked up over $200 at this restaurant and is and is just planning to dine and dash? Oh, big mistake. >> [laughter] >> Big mistake. That's not a little bit of money. And like I get what this manager is saying. He's like, "If this was just a $50 tab or whatever, fine, we'd write it off, but it's $208." Is that what he said? >> But it's $208 out of my server's pocket. Yeah. So, if you could escort him to get his wallet and bring him back to pay his tab, I would greatly appreciate that. >> Okay. So, here's what I'll do. I'll talk to him, obviously. If he's unable to figure this out here, how how do you feel about him coming back? >> I don't trust him to come back. Okay. And the thing is, I have to clear the book tonight. >> Is he intoxicated? >> He's had a few cocktails. He doesn't seem overtly drunk to me. Like, I would still probably serve him one more cocktail. >> Yeah. Without a real issue with it. >> Right. >> He says he's a programmer. He gave me a number of some colleague to call, goes directly to voicemail. It's not a local number, it's not a state number. >> Why did he do that for? >> So that his colleague can get his wallet for him and bring it down. >> Okay. >> But it went directly to voicemail. I'll try the colleague one more time and see if I can maybe get this guy on the phone. It goes right to voicemail. >> Okay. I'll let you talk to him. >> Okay. Let's do that. >> You're going to have to talk to this guy, okay? >> What's up? >> My name is Yevgeny. >> Okay. >> I'm a software engineer. I'm here for kind of vacation. I'm staying with a colleague of mine down on Truman Street. >> Uh-huh. >> It's probably like a like a 25-minute walk or maybe a 30-minute walk. >> Mhm. >> Somewhere along the way, probably at the place, I don't know my wallet. >> Okay. >> I checked everywhere. I checked in the bathroom. I I I I checked uh uh my bag. >> Mhm. What's your name? Do you have ID? >> Uh I I don't have ID. >> Of course he doesn't have his ID, cuz he doesn't have his wallet. He's already said, "Oh, no, my wallet is. Well, I looked in the bathroom. Oh, I thought I dropped it on the floor by the table. I don't see my wallet anywhere." Now, I know what a lot of you are probably thinking. You're probably thinking there's no way that guy is a software engineer. I'll have you know, I have met not only software engineers, but I have met people that have a lot of money that will typically go out to places to eat just wearing a t-shirt like this guy is. Like, you really cannot make snap judgements based on someone's looks whether or not they have any money. So, you know, you might actually think to yourself, "Oh, the restaurant should never have served this guy that much food because clearly he looks like he can't pay for it." Oh, no. I have known some people you not believe how much money they had and I'm like, "Dude, do you realize you got holes in your t-shirt?" >> [laughter] >> Like, "We're going to dinner. Uh you're wearing a t-shirt that has holes in it and you're going to pay the whole tab. Okay, fine. Cool, man." And whips out a freaking platinum American Express and he's like, "All right, cool, man. Cool." So, you can absolutely not make snap judgements on people whether or not, you know, you think that they have money just by the by the way that they're dressed. Of course, they're going to serve this guy. But, I am guessing he's not actually a software engineer and I am also guessing that he really has no money in his wallet even if he were to find it. I think that he was just planning on eating and then just dipping. That's what I think. And now he's telling this police officer this really convoluted story of how he hunted all over for his wallet, he can't find it, and now he's looking for a solution. So, let's see what this made-up solution is, shall we? >> You got any ID? >> Uh this guy. >> Okay. Spell your name for me cuz I have to identify you for the call. >> Officer, would you mind I have uh my bag and it has proprietary information. If I can just grab my bag >> Sure. >> I will My My apologies for causing this trouble. >> No, no, no. This I deal with these calls all the time. So. >> It was a very nice place. I I Yeah. >> Thank you, man. >> Thank you. Sorry. I just want to make sure that >> There's a problem with this. >> Really? >> Yes. >> Do you Do you have anything with your name on it in there, man? >> Huh? >> Do you have anything with your name on in there? Like any piece of paper with your name on it, anything that has your physical name on it right now that I can take to hold? Like look in there for me and tell me if you have any piece of paper, anything at all that has your name on it that I can hold to guarantee that you're going to come back for this. >> I'm going to go through it. >> Let's let's do that. >> We're going to go through it. >> Okay. >> We'll step outside. >> Go ahead. >> Uh no, no, he's just uh all these are usually like my work notes. >> Uh-huh. >> So I'm just thinking whether >> No, no worries. We You said you had proprietary uh possessions with your name on it, so I just want to see them so I know who you are and I can identify you for the call and we'll start there, okay? >> I mean, he's really committing to this bit. He is committed to the bit that he is somebody and he has proprietary information inside that bag and that includes notes that are secretive in nature and cannot fall into the wrong hands. I mean, he didn't say those words, but that's kind of what I feel like he's implying. And I think that he might be doing that because he thinks He thinks that if he does that, then that means the police can't look through his stuff because he's already, you know, given a name and now they're looking for some sort of proof that he has anything with that name inside this bag. And I think that he really does think he's like outsmarting everybody by saying that he has got sensitive proprietary information and paperwork in this bag and it's for his eyes only. And frankly, I'm surprised that he's not saying he's with the freaking CIA or something, you know what I mean? >> Before we get to anywhere else. >> No, but but the name is just written by me. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Yeah, but you can >> Take a picture, look you up, yeah. >> Yeah, I mean, you could >> But per my investigation, I have to identify everyone involved. It's just the rules. Okay, where are you from? Or where's your ID out of? >> Uh my ID >> Uh-huh. >> would be out of uh Massachusetts or California. >> So, where do you live now? >> Coral Gables. >> So, you don't have a Florida ID? >> I don't have a Florida ID. Uh >> How would his ID be potentially two different places? Like, if you have an ID, you would know what state your ID is in, correct? And I mean, it's you know, plausible that he wouldn't have a Florida ID yet if he just relocated or whatever, but you wouldn't know whether or not your ID was California or Massachusetts. Is that what he said? >> How long have you been in Key West? >> Two days. Well, today's my second day. >> Why didn't you bring your your wallet to a restaurant? >> Uh I didn't realize it. Believe me. I I I wouldn't walk into a restaurant uh with knowing that that I didn't have my wallet, but >> Okay. All right. You're going off to this guy's. >> But but I mean, you you if I'm coming with you, then I'm coming back. I mean, >> Well, let's save ourselves some time, okay? Let's save ourselves some time, me talking to you, okay? If you don't have the money to pay for this, you need to tell me now before I waste law enforcement resources on taking you to the place and bringing you back just for you to come here and say, "Ah, I don't have $208." If that's the >> Yeah, this police officer's like, "Do do not waste my freaking time. Don't do it, cuz you're just going to piss me off and we'll add some obstruction." >> case, man. >> Hey, I understand, but I need you to get that out of the way now. Because that way I can talk to the manager, we can work something out, okay? But I can't have you waste our time. So, if you don't have the money, just go ahead and say that. Do you have the money? >> I have the money. I don't have it on me. >> So, you have $208 to pay this bill. Cuz if you don't, it looks like you don't. It looks like you're lying to me. I've done this job for a long time. I know when someone's lying to me. Just tell me now because when I find out you don't have it, it's going to be a bigger problem than if it if you just fess up right now if you don't have it. Do you have the money? >> Yes, I don't have the money. >> No, no, no. I I I I >> So, if >> So, if I take you to 1200 Truman and then I bring you back here, you're going to pay the bill. >> Hopefully. >> That doesn't work for me. Why hopefully? >> I >> Yeah, what what did he say hopefully for? >> [laughter] >> WHAT DID HE SAY HOPEFULLY FOR? Do you have $208? Yes. Well, so if I take you to go get your money and bring you back, you can pay the bill? Hopefully. >> [laughter] >> Oh, hopefully. >> He has to be home. >> Huh? >> I don't have the key. He he But but >> One second. Just >> But but he >> I'll be right with you. >> So, if he can't pay the bill, it's not much. I just want him to pay the bill. I don't think that I'm really too much beyond that. Like all these guarantees, he's not going to have money. I feel like >> Yes, I just asked him directly a couple times. He said, "Well, hopefully I have it." What do you mean hopefully? Well, I So, let me talk to him for a second. >> Listen, my friend. I'm going to write this out as a walkout. You don't ever come back to this restaurant again. You don't ever approach this restaurant. You don't ever come to this complex again. All four of these restaurants are connected. I'll be reporting you to all four restaurants. You try to do the property again, we will call the US police on you. Do you understand? >> Yeah, what what >> Don't don't No, do not. This cop is going to let you walk on this. I'm not going to press charges on you. >> He's not going to press charges? Oh, I would press charges. I would press charges. Not only did he rack up $200 worth of food and drinks, but then he's wasting your freaking time and lying about it. I don't know. Maybe this Maybe this manager has a freaking heart or something. Maybe Maybe mine is just tainted and cold and >> [laughter] >> Maybe I'm just heartless at this point, but this guy is getting off way way too easy, I think. Way too easy. It wasn't no $50 bill. It was $200. And now he's wasting this manager's time. He's wasting this police officer's time. He still isn't being truthful and forthright. I I cannot believe he should he should he should press charges. He should press charges. That's my opinion. >> I'm going to count this as a walkout, and I'm going to explain this to my boss tomorrow that you could not pay your bill and you walked out this restaurant. Okay? If you take me to your house right now and you get your money and you come back here and pay, right. If you do not come back here and pay, do not come back to this complex. Do you understand? So, can you pay? I'm asking you one time and one time only. Can you go to your house with this officer, get your wallet, and come back here and pay? Yes or no? Don't Don't Yes or no? Yes or no? It's a simple question. At the moment you're not sure if he's home. You're You're staying there, so you must be able to get into the residence. Come on, man. Let's Let's be adults. Okay? Let's be adults. You dined in my restaurant. My server took excellent care of you. Right? You drank cognac. You had a great time. Correct? So, I'm going to ask you one more time. After I ask you this question, I'm going to make a big choice, and I'm going to press charges against you. So, be honest with me. Can you pay the bill? >> Okay, so now he's saying he will press charges. Okay, so was he saying before if you come back and pay the bill, I'm not pressing charges, but if you don't, I will press charges? It's like he's switching it up now, which is good. Like this is what I wanted. This is the outcome I wanted. I WANT HIM to press charges on this guy. Because you really going to sit there and you're going to eat at this restaurant and you're going to sip [ __ ] cognac and you're not going to pay your bill. You're doing all of this knowing that you can't pay your bill. You got to be kidding me. Yeah, I hope he press presses charges. Press charges. Because if he's just going to be nice and let this guy off and be like, "Oh, now you can't come to back to, you know, these four restaurants here." Do you know how many other restaurants there are? How many restaurants there are that he could go do this to? No. He needs to have some serious consequence. Nope, that is not right. A lot of people think that dining and dashing is just kind of like a haha, it's not really a crime. No, it is a crime. It is literal theft. It is literally theft. It is no different than walking into a department store and taking $200 worth of merchandise and walking out the front door. It's the same thing. >> Yes or no. Don't say maybe. Don't say any [ __ ] I'm asking you man to man, person to person. Can you pay the bill? >> Sure. Can but I don't have the money. >> So, you can't pay the bill. So, then you you came here willingly knowing you couldn't pay the bill. So, don't come back to this complex. Do not come back to this restaurant. Do not come back Look at me. That is A and B. That is Alonzo's. That is White Tarpon. That is the Patio. This is Bell Mar. Don't come back to any of these properties. Do you understand? You're lucky tonight. I've had a long night and I'm going to let this go. I'm going to count this as a walkout. I'm now going to have to explain this to my boss. You're lucky this guy isn't placing you in cuffs cuz he could absolutely do that for a dining dash. Do you understand? It's $208. That's more than a misdemeanor, I believe. I think it falls under another category. Out of that, they would hold you in Monroe County Jail. I know that you have Monroe County Jail papers in your back. Do you understand that? So, I'm not silly. I'm not stupid. I've lived in this town for a long time. You're not my first. You're not going to be my last. Do not come back here again. Do you understand? >> I dig this guy. >> [laughter] >> I love this guy's energy. He is like firm, to the point. He's mean, but he's also kind. I like this guy. I like this guy a lot, but I am pissed that he's not pressing charges. He's just going to let him go. So, yeah, he's not going to come back to these other four businesses hopefully, but he's probably going to go do it other places. He's going to go to numerous other places and dine and dash there. He needs to have some sort of consequence. And I understand he's being nice but firm, but you need to press charges. >> Thank you. Can you ask for your property >> that's right. >> Thank you. Let's go. >> Yeah, keep going. Keep going. >> Yeah, we just trespassed in here. >> the beach, yeah, yes. Yeah, that was uh >> I'll be sharing this amongst all my managers and all the properties. If you try to enter any of these buildings, they will call the police. You understand? >> Down the stairs. >> Officer, I I am in a I am a free engineer. >> What were you in jail for, man? >> Uh I was I was trespassing on the Well, I I I >> up before I actually have to take you to jail. >> I didn't know that that that we're not supposed I mean, I thought the beach I mean, but but but this was like mo- months ago. Uh this is my second time in Key West. >> All right. >> Uh I was on the beach and uh but but I was only in jail for uh I think a couple days and I mean, once once I went to court, they walked to my car. >> Yes. >> I'm sorry, I'm a little bit nervous. >> Okay. Before I issue you your warnings, you are not free to leave. This is still an open law enforcement investigation. Take a seat on the yellow curb and you're not going to go anywhere until I figure out who you are. I need to identify yourself fully. I have your name. I'm going to look you up. Sit down on that yellow curb. That's a lawful order. Sit down now. And do not move. Sit. Sit. Sure. The name you gave me? >> Yes. >> No return. That little piece of paper that you wrote your name. >> You you you you you you must have not No, no. >> No, I I took a picture of the paper that you showed me. That's the name you gave me. >> What? What? >> Let me see that Monroe County paperwork with your name on it so that I can find you and we can get out of here. Do you have any weapons in there? >> No. >> Okay. The Monroe County paperwork from the last time you were in jail, I saw your name on it. Show it to me now. >> I'm trying to do that. No, it's not me. >> I swear a lot of these police officers have the patience of a saint. Like I I would be so incredibly annoyed that I Oh Oh and I know that there are certain things that you can and cannot do and certain kindness and and patience and you have to give people chances and Oh, that's why I would be a horrible police officer. I I would have zero tolerance for people's [ __ ] Give him the paper he asked for. >> Perfect. Let me see it. Give it to me. You know giving a a false name to law enforcement is a crime? >> I didn't give a false name. >> You did. >> No. >> Yes, you absolutely did. >> No, you're not a cop. >> It's literally written wrong. The picture you showed me, I have it right here. My body cam is rolling. You literally gave me a fake name. >> No, no, no. >> Here's your paper. >> No, I didn't give you that. >> Do not move. Dude, are you serious? Drop that cigarette. Drop it. Stand up. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh my god, what is happening? What is happening? Why is he being arrested right now? So he's Oh, why is he Why? Why? Why is he being arrested right now? I mean, of course it has nothing to do with the with the dine and dash. Does he have a warrant? Does he have a warrant? Did he violate parole? What is happening? >> You You on you that's just poke me, prod me, hurt me. >> No. >> The moment you're being detained, not yet arrested. I I would urge you to be quiet. >> I I remember on the paperwork, I I think they they they misidentified in in the name. >> Yeah, okay. Take a seat. Take a seat. I will grab it and take a seat. >> What What do you say? Am I sure >> Sit down. 93 Alpha 1 9 Delta >> My server, Tonio, waited on him. He was here, I would say he's I had a feeling about him. He kept looking at the doors. I think he was going to try to bolt and try to make it out the door before we noticed. I was always on the door because my hostess went home sick tonight and I'm the manager here, so I was on the door all night. And Trisha, my other server, was on the patio all night, so there was no way he could make it out that door without somebody noticing. There was no way he was making it past me without noticing. Tonio would have noticed right away that he didn't pay his bill. Um he sat there for several hours and drank several cognacs, doubles. Um Hennessy doubles, $90 worth of cognac. And then had a lobster risotto, uh antipasto plate, and a gelato for dessert. So, he rounded out his meal really well. Um so, I 100% want to press charges on that [ __ ] Absolutely. My bosses will be so happy that I did this. >> Awesome. >> Yeah, I want to press charges. Whatever you need from me, call >> I'll call you tomorrow. >> I'll give you all the info. Thanks. Appreciate it. Absolutely. You too. >> Good. Yep, pressing charges. Exactly the outcome I wanted. Yeah, I can't lobster risotto? >> [laughter] >> $90 worth of cognac including Hennessy and some gelato for dessert? Ooh. Yeah, I hope he enjoyed it. I hope getting arrested was worth it. >> The man was charged with fraud by swindle, defrauding an operator of a food or lodging establishment. Prior to this arrest, he had been arrested and found guilty five other times by law enforcement agencies in Florida on the same charge, not including a separate arrest here in Key West months before this incident. >> Oh, so he's done this before. Yeah, if they would have let him go, he 100% would have done this again and again and again. He's been arrested five times for the same reason? The same reason five times? And yet he's still out dining and dashing and racking up bills and sipping on cognac while doing it. Disgusting behavior, man. It's one thing to like go into a McDonald's and, you know, walk up and snatch somebody's DoorDash delivery that you didn't pay for, run out the door and eat it, but you're really going to go eat lobster risotto knowing you're not paying for it. That's >> [laughter] >> That's disgusting behavior and I'm glad he got taken in again. Well, there you have it, a full course meal featuring entitlement as the appetizer, terrible decisions as the entree, and of course, handcuffs for dessert. Let me know which dine and dasher was the most ridiculous down in the comments. And if you like videos like this, remember to hit the thumbs up button.
