Do not resist. Do not resist. Cannot resist. Can I see my baby? Wait, can I just My be honest. >> These adults let emotions take [music] over. And when feelings rise, clear judgment often fades. >> Wait, my arm. My arm. My arm. My arm. >> Only you're white. I'm black. Don't raise up. >> You see her? Today we trace the stories of six families where each impulsive decision leads to outcomes that are difficult to reverse. From a simple request to see my child just minutes later, the entire city had to activate a community notification system. What caused a mother to face serious legal challenges? >> Did she hurry up, grab the little baby, and took off throwing in the passenger seat? >> The little baby or a six-year-old? >> A 2-year-old. On June 17th, 2023, authorities were called to a restaurant after reports that a woman suddenly arrived, asked to see young family members, and then left with a 2-year-old despite not having lawful custody. At the scene, officials gathered information from relatives and [music] contacted her, requesting that the child be returned, but she did not respond as asked. >> Hold on right now, cuz I'm coming into a whirlwind. Okay? So, let me talk to your son and I'll have him call you back. Okay? >> I want to press charges on her. >> Okay. Ma'am. Ma'am, I understand that. I need to talk to your son first. Okay, >> I'm going to start from square. >> Yeah, that's where that's exactly what I need. >> Nice to meet you. I'm Maris. So, me and my other sister, my uncle, we just came here to let my sister see the kids real quick. She has a vision while she sees them real quick, right? I came up here real quick. I went to the store real quick. She said, "You don't come get these kids. I'm going to leave them in the lobby by the house." So, I hurry up and came back. My uncle's on his way back from the store right now. I help me cuz that's how we had all the kids separated in the seats and everything. Then, you can walk in here with me. >> She was right here with me by her garden. >> Who was she? >> AJ Davis, my sister. >> Okay. Your sister. She was here with you then? Yeah, she was here cuz I was brought the kids to see her. So, long story short, she tried to hurry up and run to my car. Didn't let her. She bumped into her mirror. Then she came right here, ripped my tag, crumbled it all up, my tag and everything. She wanted to get out the car at all. She wouldn't let us turn the car on for AC, no nothing. Just sitting right here. Wouldn't let us turn the car on nothing. Then finally, I went inside real quick. My girlfriend's in the car. She hurry up, grabbed the little baby, and took off, threw him in the passenger seat. >> The little baby or a six-year-old? >> He's a 2-year-old. >> Cuz my note said a six-year-old. >> He's two. >> Who is the parent of the child? >> My mom, Michelle Davis. She has legal custody from the courts. >> I understand that. Here's what I'm trying to figure out the whole dynamics here. Okay. So, who is the child to you? >> He's my nephew. >> So, your sister is the aunt of the child >> that she birthed him, but the court made her sign her rights over to my mom. >> Okay. This is all stuff that I don't know, man. So, my mom, the court, AJ, she was in a relationship, so the court made her sign her rights over. Her mom has legal custody on her birth certificate. >> Hold on. Okay. I need to know who took the child. >> A my sister, the birth mom. >> Okay. The birth mother. >> Yeah. I'm sorry. The birth mother. Okay. So, the birth mother of the child came and took the car. kid who does not have custody of the kid. Is the vehicle she was in was she by herself? >> By herself. A red A5 Kia and it's registered to Alice in peace. >> Okay. Where does she live? >> She doesn't live nowhere. She just lives coast to coast with friends. >> So, we have no idea where she's going. >> The other lady that she does stay with. We have to go pick the baby up. She said, "Ka, >> how can we contact this person? >> Let me have my girlfriend walk the phone." >> Okay. >> And here are the other kids. That's why they leave. I'm waiting on my I'm waiting on resp. Guardian of the child lives out of state. >> No, she lives here. She's on the cruise. >> So, you are in charge of the kids while she is gone on vacation. >> So, does your sister work here? >> And the other person that you're calling works here also? >> Yes. >> The police isn't here right now. >> I need to know if she's got the child. >> She doesn't have them. >> Where is you know where the child is? You know where he's at? >> No. No. I don't. She would not tell me. >> She needs to otherwise she's going to be in a world of crap. She say she left to go get some drinks for the kids. She was on the right. >> Somebody needs to get in touch with her or we are going to find her and it's not going to be good >> because as of right now she's facing kidnapping charges all kinds of stuff. >> Right now the police say you're going to be talking and all that. >> Hello. Hey. Hey. Relax. Relax right now. Okay. So this is Deputy Myers with the sheriff's office. I need you to return the child right now. >> Coming up there. So where can I meet you? You can meet me right here with the child right now. >> I don't want to come back up there to pop out. >> Okay. It doesn't matter what you want right now. You're facing kidnapping charges. You need to come here right now. >> I'm facing that charge, but okay. I'll >> You've got 10 minutes. I tried to run this tag every way possible. I'm not coming up with anything. Who's she on the phone with now? >> Ke the one that was supposed to be. >> Okay. So, is >> Hey, did she get the baby or what? >> So, you don't know where she at now? She said she's driving around and coming >> from where? >> On I4. on I4. How long ago did this happen? >> It just happened. So there's no way she got on I4 that quick. She literally cut through the racetrack and made a right. So I don't know how she got the I4. >> She said that she was on I4 going to Dela to see your grand your grandmother's house, but now she's turning around. >> AJ is your niece and we don't have any address for her. >> No, she works here. >> All we know is she works here. >> She doesn't live. >> Okay. She's not even allowed at the house anymore. >> Okay. When you came here to let her see the kids, was she working? >> Just sitting right here talking to friends. >> Okay. So she was off. That's the my mom the guardian the guardian. >> Hi. >> Hi. How you doing? This is Corpal. >> I understand I sent my son. I just sent him like >> Shel. When I'm looking for something signed by a judge >> custo signed by a judge. >> Okay. You guys can't see that. You have to be on the flip court TV. >> Is it Flaggler or Valuchia County? >> I'll try to do it on my phone real quick. >> What was the interaction? >> So when I came, I sent open the McDonald's real quick. She was here. Yeah. In Popey. No, I bought the McDonald's. So they were eating McDonald's. She stay here. I said, "I'll be right back." Next thing you know, I was going down the street real quick. Just the Walmart real quick. She called me and said, "I'm going to leave the kids. So you need to get back here right now." Cuz she thought we left, but I didn't leave. She was still here. I left. >> So you left to go to Walmart? >> She stayed here. I left the Walmart. She said, "Come." So I came back and got the kids real quick. And then she came out. I was just loading them up, waiting on my other sister to come because, like I said, we were splitting the kids back up so she could follow me back to Deltona. And the next thing you know, it just it went zero to 100 real quick. She's delusional. She's just it just >> if she's delusional, you probably shouldn't have left. You know what I mean? >> But she just zero to 100 real quick. >> I get that. But I mean, if you're in charge of this 2-year-old child, that's your nephew. I'm not placing blame. Don't misconrue what I'm saying. >> So this here is like it's like a cook off on a >> right. But what you're saying mean she's allowed to have visitation with somebody accompanying her, right? So you left the child. >> Okay. She was here. >> Yeah. They wasn't left. >> She was here. >> Let's try to figure out where she is. Let's focus on the child. >> And then we can worry about who's supposed to have custody of the child later. >> In response, officials used vehicle tracking technology to locate the car, placing the child's well-being as the top priority. >> I've got the tag. He's putting it in the LPR right now. He's got it right now. We just had the one that bought the phone bought the car on the phone. So, we got our name and deal. >> We never come. I was like, "How am I supposed to be stuck with him?" And I only had four diapers. You know what I'm saying? So, was like, "Oh, he's not coming back." Okay. So, pulling out. This what I told. So, so I said, "So, you sit here and say, "Oh, not coming back to get the kids." Then they changed the lock. say the ground. He don't I did say that. So Keith said there was like but I never told her that. That's where it started and that's why he's from there. >> Again I am the common denominator. Kea is in the middle of you and your mama. Ke is in the middle of you and your brother. Kea is in the middle of you and your children. Ke is the common denominator of why you stay in trouble. Ke want you around her. Instead of her being a woman and saying that she rather see you in jail than around her. They're using you. You do more for them than you do for your children. You had some money in your pocket, you could have cash some diapers. That's what I'm saying. They your kids so with these fake friends. Sometime it's best to be by yourself. >> You don't need them the other day. >> Your kids need you more than anything. You told me to text me. Oh, you my mama. I said okay. >> But listen in the text message. >> Hold on. Hold up. I'm passing I'm passing this little little mall area. Do you want me to meet you to a McDonald's that's on this road? >> It's on street. It's going to be on the left. So then he was like, >> this one McDonald's said he's going to be on the left. He made a right on Old McDonald to be on the left or belt. Old Kings or Belter up at the parkway. She said, >> did she? >> Yeah. >> Your children look for their mom. All they ask is for their mama. >> You know what they do when they see my kids? >> You think your mama? How you think your mama feel? How do you think your brother don't feel? Your brother had stepped up to the plate like he boooo wherever she's at. She has eyes around. So that's why she is making you responsible as well when you was irresponsible because everybody makes mistakes if you don't keep making the same mistake. These are kids, AJ, that did not ask to come here. They do not deserve deserve to be treated the way they're treated. When them kids see you, they are elated to see their mother. >> The woman continued [music] to provide unclear details about her location, leading authorities to consider issuing a public child safety alert, a system designed to quickly involve the community when a young person may be in. >> Just trying to see if I hear anything that tells me where she's at. >> Where you at? Hey, Mr. Davis. I guess she hung up, but someone else is calling you now. >> Sound like she driving. >> She is. She said she was like 2 minutes away from that McDonald's. >> No, she old Kings. >> Old Kings. >> Old Kings or something like that. Yeah, I got gig on my other phone. I got >> I think she going to Miami. That's why Kea not answer the phone. She's trying to go to Miami with Tony. That's what Kea told us. When Kea pulled up, Kea said I had to lie to the police and say that AJ was on her way, but she was on that was on her way to Miami. So many words. She basically saying she don't want to get the baby up and she has charged. >> Well, listen. If she don't get the baby up, she's going to have even worse charges. She's facing some serious prison time for that. She's going to Miami. She's going to get caught quick quicker than she knows. You know those big electronic signs on the interstate that say Amber Alert? Say Amber Alert. >> Oh yeah. >> Thank you. I said, "Have you spoke to Audrey yet?" She said, "Where? >> Where kids at?" >> I don't know. Gig left. >> Gig went to go get the baby. They probably don't put an Amber Alert out. >> She's so dumb. That's her dumb ass. She keep calling me. I say, "No, you cannot come to my house." on you for a second. >> She's facing Kea's facing criminal charges for interference with child because she knew where she was and she refused to tell us. So she's now facing charges also. This is hurting you. Now you lost your job and everything. So guess what? For real. For real. >> Can you see if she can meet somebody? Anybody from the job gig? Shante you, anybody. >> You said Gig was on his way to come. >> I wouldn't even give a if she just went to a gas station and asked him calling somebody. My main concern is cash. >> And what she had to say, she didn't have nothing to really say. >> And she was like, "How he call?" And I didn't call him for break. I know. I know that. I said he didn't break. He was like, "Um, all I did was the house. That way he get there." And y'all, >> she wasn't going to the house, >> but I seen the thing that said he land. >> Yeah. You got to think 95 that way. She going to try to use Tony or she going to use Isaac cuz Isaac's in Miami right now. I think maybe. But no, you said she was going to my house. >> She not. Well, just call me if you can get cash on me, please. >> Okay. >> Like I said, Ka's facing criminal charges now. You know, from her saying earlier that she knew where the child was and refusing to give the information to law enforcement. That's interference in child custody. What's a criminal offense? How you involved in this? >> I ain't involved in it. I'm just a part-time job out there. >> Oh, is it? Okay. You know all the players. Okay. >> And is just [ __ ] They'll tell you. She's just plain out simple. We've been here probably for how long? Since what? Three. Is Kea the one that's got the brother that's the transgender? >> Yeah. >> Was out here fighting that day. [laughter] >> He was here. >> I'm the one that took him to jail. >> All over Twitter. >> Facebook everything. >> Went worldwide. >> Yeah. >> Hey, did you get cash or no? >> Not yet. I'm waiting for her to come. I'm sitting over here in front of McDonald's. >> Which McDonald's? >> What McDonald's you at? You can send me your location. >> So when you make a right, you ride that one here or the one all the way down? >> All the way down. Okay. >> She got to be at the hotel. Unless you want to house our section. Listen, I got deputies checking the hotels right now. >> Let us know if he has more communication with her, too. >> And let me know if you get more communication with them, they said. >> The effort expanded as concern for the child grew. Family members, [music] investigators, and even her colleagues worked together to ensure the child's safe return. >> Who's she texting? >> What's going on? Where's she at? >> I'm trying to um I don't know where she's at. That I'm not >> We need to get this child back. >> That's what she's trusting me right now. >> Right. What I'm doing in my car right now is I'm working on the Amber Alert paperwork cuz an Amber Alert's getting ready to be put out on this child. We need to get that child back yesterday. She has just opened up a world of bad news for herself. >> Regardless, she going to jail >> regardless if they do get the child, but she going to go to jail. >> She's going to jail. >> It's kidnapping. >> Well, let me ask you this. I don't want to go to jail. Never seen a cop. Never seen a a courthouse. If I get her to meet somewhere and leave the baby there and I come get the baby, like a bathroom at like a KFC, >> leave the baby somewhere or like >> I don't know. We're talking about a 2-year-old child. We're not leaving that child unattended any >> gives the baby. If she gives the baby to someone and they end up with me, am I going to go to jail? I'm not >> We need to get this child back. >> That's all I care about as a kid. I don't care about anything. >> We need to get this child back. Problem I have now is anybody >> going to follow me? >> Here's here's what I'm here's what I need to explain to you at this point. Anybody who knows where this child is and is refusing to give information to law enforcement about where this child is is committing a crime of interfering with child custody, which is also an arrestable offense. >> It's a human right. It's a boy. >> It's cash. whoever is involved in this. I mean, this we're talking about a 2-year-old child here. >> What Rosie is trying to say is she's trying to help get the child back right now. >> So, what she's saying, though, she can get you the child quite quickly. >> But I just don't want no competition behind helping you out in the bushes somewhere, but do not >> to get you. No, we want the child. I don't care how we get the child back at this point. If you get the child back for us, you are not going to be in trouble. We need the child. Can somebody like follow me on my car so that I need to pop out and get her? >> We have deputies that can follow at a distance and you will never even know they're there. What is her phone number? Who's her cell phone through? AT&T, Verizon, do you know? >> Probably Straight Talk or Cricket. She >> Straight Talk or Cricket? >> Yeah, she doesn't have a real phone company. >> She's still texting you. >> Yeah, she just called me. She was like, "Where are you?" I was like, "I'm at Cuz I'm the manager at Hurricane, too." I'm like, "I'm at Hurricane. I left all that mess. I'm trying to see if she's going to pop up over there." She's like, "Call me." I'm like, "I'm calling you." That's our district manager. And I was like, "Please do the right thing. the baby texting back on that one. >> Your district manager has Anita. >> No, Sean. Yeah, Sean is the big corporate head boss head. So, he's still there. >> The tension eased only after the woman and the toddler were located. >> He's still there. >> He's still there when his lights talk to him. >> Hey, how you doing? This deputy Myers again. Where exactly are you at the McDonald's? >> You know where the driveway is? The drive-thru? >> Yes, where the drive-thru is. I've got the patrol cars backing out of there right now in case she meets you there. >> Yeah. Okay, >> we got her. Your uncle has the child right now. Our deputies are out with them. Our deputies have her in custody. Yeah. Just hang tight here, though. It's a big scene over there right now. Come here. >> Come here. No, no, no. Don't resist me. Do not resist me. Do not resist me. Can I go resist? Stop. >> Can I go get my baby? >> Just relax. Just relax. Okay. >> Do not resist. >> Don't resist. Wait, wait. >> Stop resist. Do not resist me. You okay? >> Happy birthday. >> Hello. >> Yeah. >> What's up? >> Uh, did you say hello? >> Give me five. >> Can you come here? >> No. No. No. I got you. I got you. >> Oh, wait. My arm. My arm. My arm. >> Wait. No. My arm. I got No. Look. What you crushing my arm? >> All right. Go ahead. Hold on. Do not resist when we losing this. >> I'm not going to No. No. I wasn't saying I wasn't saying it was play. I was saying it was you was touching my elbow. >> Okay. >> You got no syringes, no other weapons, no knives, no guns, no nothing. >> Can I get my stuff out my car? >> Well, we we'll we'll focus on that. Okay. I just want to make sure you have nothing on me. >> I'm trying to come back. I'm getting my phone out my pocket. >> Give him some >> in a second. I need to scoot in, please. I'm being very nice with you, but I I will get with you. Move your foot in. Move your foot. on charges. >> We'll talk about that. Move your foot in. I'm going to jail. >> I'm I'm going to either shove your foot in or you're going to get >> Am I going to jail? >> You are being detained right now. >> Wait, wait, wait. Relax. We'll talk. >> I'm not I'm not Can you roll in one? >> I don't want to ride in front of the baby. >> I'm going to get you McDonald's. Okay. >> Can I get McDonald's, too? >> Have McDonald's. I'm trying to I'm trying to tell him what to do with my stuff. If you're if I'm going to jail, am I going to jail? >> I don't know yet. >> Can I talk to my uncle real quick to give him instructions? Then >> give me the instructions. >> Yeah, I want to get my wallet. >> Okay. Where's your wallet at? >> In my glove department and my cuff and my upper and my armrest. And then wait, can I ask >> where I I got? >> So, I'm not going to be able to talk to my uncle before I go? >> Not right now. >> Am I going to jail? >> I don't know yet. >> But I need to my baby, bro. >> We'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'll be full honest with you and tell you what's going on once I know it. >> In the car, she said she never intended negative impact. However, removing a child without legal permission, even for a short time, can still be treated as a serious violation. >> So, what's going to happen? >> I don't know. And this is what I was trying to tell you beforehand, >> but I did not up him. This is the end of what I was. >> But the thing is, while y'all was fussing, you should have left him. And while all this time I was sitting there, you should have bring him. You listen to somebody else. She was telling me to bring him to her. >> People who don't give four doodle squats about you. And this is what I was trying to tell you. Your mom has custody. >> Yeah, but they were still coming to me. >> Regardless, this is what I told you. I wasn't taking >> You have no right to >> They was at my job. >> Regardless, this is what I'm trying to say. Off the property. This is what I was telling you. >> But he was coming with me over. >> But how they coming with you? You and him. They're not in the car together. >> I was coming and then what? What? He said, "Oh, me and her knuckle up when me and me on Chante was on the phone. >> You shouldn't listen to her from the start." That's what Trante and I was telling you. She don't care about you. She rather see you in here because she wants your position over there at Papa. That's why I said sometimes it's best to be by yourself instead of having fake friends who don't care about you. And we just got finished talking about this after grandma. See, that's why I said for every action there's a reaction. >> I know. But but look, when he was just on the phone, what she said? Oh, the police said, "Bring him to me. Bring her to him." Regardless, but I've been here waiting. Thank you very much. >> Me? >> Yes. >> They told me bring the Popeyes and then I was spoken to them and then they said bring the Popeyes >> and you never did. >> I was on the highway. I got back in Palm Coast and then I sent him here. >> But when I told you to come to me ASAP before all this transpired. >> You told the police you said you would be there in 5 minutes. >> No, I ain't say 5 minutes. I said I was on the highway. >> Go put him in the car so he wet. >> You said I'll be there in a couple minutes. >> Yeah, I was I was at Okay. I was at the Orman 30 minutes. I was at the Orman and Banel exit, right? So then that's when she called me and said she pulled off. She told me her rent center. I said I didn't want to come to Ren Center. She told me to come way in the back. I said I didn't want to come to Ren. So then my I called my uncle and I called my godmama. We was all on the merge phone call. >> This is not good. You got 1 2 3 4 5 6 seven cops here. >> I know it's not good. I was giving them back. >> I'm glad you gave them back. >> Oh no. One thing I want to think about it, sir. I listen. Excuse my language. Okay. Don't don't take it wrong. Excuse me. I I I have some up late. I mean, I'm not going to have my kids, bro, cuz anything. >> You didn't think you were going to hurt your kids, but the problem is is you take them in the first place to a woman. It's a problem. >> But I was keeping them overnight anyway today. >> It's still a problem. You don't have rights. >> But even if I was keeping them, they were leaving them with me. >> I don't know what was going to happen in the future. I know what happened in the present. >> And then that's when like me and her exchanged words. I pulled off. That's when she told me to meet him. And then my uncle came. And my uncle said, "Meet him." And I said, "Okay." And that's what led me here to meet my uncle cuz literally before I pulled in and I was on the phone with her, she was like bringing the public and I met came and met my uncle. Am I going to jail for what? >> Either going to be or interfering with child custody. >> Yeah. Serious. >> And mom have a bond. >> I don't know. >> But sir, I didn't my baby pressing charges >> cuz I had I can show you text messages where they was staying with me. I can show you all the proof. >> I believe you they were going to stay with you. What also I believe is you do not have the right to take him. >> Even if he was staying with me, >> right? Even if he was staying with you don't have the right to take. You're a babysitter cuz you don't have any parental rights. >> I still got stuff in my pocket. I'm taking it out. Look, this is No, it's not. Don't look. Don't put anything in your pockets or out of your pockets. Just stop. >> Like, you know, it's like it looks like Do not reach for anything in your pockets, okay? Just stand up real quick. I'm going to take everything out of your out. But it was poking in my butt. It's like that. It's like your pants off. Huh? I can't like this. I was hot, >> man. Do you got kids? >> No, >> I have kids. >> How many do you have? >> Enough. >> I got six. >> But see, but I'm getting in trouble for this. When they was even bringing me my kids, >> you do that. You were like, "School anyway." They were bringing me my kids. >> School. Okay, >> listen. If you don't do it, you're going to get a resisting charge, too. Push your knees in cuz we've asked you several times. Please push your knees in so that we can help you. >> Man, they're going to go. >> No, they're not. >> The heartache of a mother who gave birth but does not have custody is real. [music] Yet, emotion cannot override lawful decisions. Ignoring instructions push the situation beyond control, triggering a city-wide alert and the possibility of severe legal outcomes. >> Well, listen. Here's what we're going to do. I'm going to read you something real quick. Listen to me. Don't talk right now. Listen to me. Okay. I'm Deputy Myers at Flag County Sheriff's Office. With these rights in mind, do you want to talk to me? >> Yes. Okay. >> What do you got to say? >> Deputy Mars, remember when you called me, right? >> Then my ag called that's I told her I told you to tell you hold on. I was right about the arm in the banana exit. Okay. I turned around. I got up on I guess the lady left. She left. >> That was over an hour ago. >> No, listen. She left. All right. So then my god mama said, my godmama said don't meet her. I can show you the messages in the >> Okay, that's all fine and well. >> Okay, but listen. Wait. So, okay. So then >> I told you to come back to Popeye's, didn't I? >> Yeah. And then the lady called. Then after my golf, the lady called and said, "Y'all told her to get the baby." And I can see >> I told you to come back to Popeyes. Did I not? >> You did. >> Why did you not come back to Popeye's when law enforcement told you to come back to Popeye's? This could have ended a long time ago. A lot better. >> Do you have kids? >> I do. I got three. >> I have up in the past. I with my kid. I got a DCF case cuz my baby daddy didn't know when DCF got involved. He used to me in front of my kid. I kept going. Like when I had with this last baby, I didn't have no DCF. But with this new baby daddy, I didn't have no DCF. But since I was still involved with GCF, they wanted to take him. I gave my rights up to my mama. All right. Okay. Today, my brother, well, last night I can show you the text messages. I have all the proof. Okay. My brother called me and he was like, "Can you get your kids?" I was like, "What you need morning or night so we can work around my schedule." So, he said night. So, then I didn't come last night cuz he was like, "He's not going out." So, I was like, "Well, bring him to my job." He was like, "Can you meet me at Tinder Outlet?" I was like, "I can't right now." So, he came up to the job. So, then that's when the lady, I don't know, whatever she told you her name was. She was like this and that. So, she was like, "You're stuck with your kids." I was like, "No, I can't be stuck cuz I open in the morning." So, my brother left the kids at the job and I have witnesses saying he left the kids at the job. >> His girlfriend was still there. >> No, she wasn't. I kid you, sir. I kid you not. You can call the managers. >> Regardless, when my whole question is, you took the child. I told you to return to Popeye's and you refused to do that. That's what this is all about. >> Cuz I had told everybody else and then they told me to break them with the kids. Law enforcement tells you to return a child that you are unlawfully in custody of and you refuse to do that. Do you not see the problem here? That is a huge problem. Why did you not come by to Popeye? Because other people told you not to. So it didn't matter what law enforcement told you. >> I didn't say that when I when the lady told me bring her to get other. >> It doesn't matter what the lady said. >> I know. But then I spoke to my uncle and my uncle was like, he just going to get the baby. He rather me get the baby to him. >> I told you to come back to Popeyes. >> Yeah. And then I never talked to you again afterwards. >> It doesn't matter. I told you to come back to Popeye's. >> How was it kidnapping when they brought the kids to me? >> Because you snatched the kid and left and Let me finish. >> I'm sorry. >> Your parental rights have been terminated by the court. You took the kid and left and refused to return the kid when law enforcement advised you to. That's how. >> But I need to snatch him. That's what I add him. >> Can I say bye to my uncle and tell him two things to get my baby again? >> Not right now. 2 hours ago, this could have ended when I told you to go back to Popeye's and you refused to obey my order. >> I have a question. Would that have a bond? >> That's going to be up to the judge. >> So, I'm stuck right now on a no bond. >> Yes, ma'am. >> She really wants to talk to you real quick. Is that okay? That's up to you. >> I understand that, bro. You just should have Listen, when he told you you had a 10-minute period, you should have been came back. You gave us a boost chase right now. If you would have came back in 10 minutes, you probably would have never had this charge cuz you would have never been gone that long. You made them do a whole Amber Alert paperwork. That's what made it worse. You just do the in America. >> I'm thinking she actually wasn't. >> That's like me going to jump off a bridge right now. For what? What the did you get out of it? You got a million dollars out of this. >> No. >> You got out of it. >> I think she was my bad. My bad. >> I was saying I don't know. >> It was If I get a bond, would you come get me? >> I'm going to do it. I'm going to do I say it on my [ __ ] job. If I'm sure I'll let >> But no, I'm just saying Allison, I can't wait cuz I call my boss. I have to be back to work on >> I will be Alison long as I have it. I only have 10 on me. That's all I add to my name. >> But Alison, but if even if Keith don't do it, bro, I will pay you back. I know the guy told you how much you find, but you definitely need to get out and I just tell you. >> All right, you got to go. >> No, I want my car. >> Hey, Alison, they got to take her. >> Wait, Ellie, wait. Wait. She She's 2 minutes away, ma'am. >> I'm sorry. We got to go. >> She right there now. Look. >> How long am I going to be waiting? >> No, it's like 2 minutes. Like 2 minutes. >> What do you need to tell her? >> Like 2 minutes. Just 2 minutes, ma'am. Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> I'm going to do what I got to do real quick and as soon as I'm done, we're leaving. >> Okay. Why didn't you just follow what the they said to do? >> Because when he told me to come, Ka said, "Don't come. He going to jail." This and that. And it's like she set me up. >> She did. Get over her son. >> I'm not even messing with him no more. >> Get over her and fire her. If you make it out of jail, fire her and start fresh with new people. What if I get up? >> I'm going to Connecticut on Wednesday, so I don't want to. >> Okay. Are you done? >> Don't do no like this again. If you get out of this, you need to >> stay out of jail. Kei is >> this is crazy. Thank you for being understanding. >> I mean, you didn't do anything to me. >> I know. It's like, okay, I know you probably heard bits and bits. I was at the job, right? The other person they talking about, you see how the other person said they play she played the big part in it. >> No, I I really don't know much about the entire case. >> I know, but you But you remember when they were just yelling saying Kea got me up. Excuse my language. >> Okay. >> Okay. That was my ex-boyfriend's mom. So, it's like she was telling me one thing and all this and then Yeah. It's like she she played like she tricked me. You think they're going to let me shower? >> Being honest, like I'm musty right now. >> Her relatives were finally able to exhale [music] once everything was settled. >> How you doing, my friend? >> I'm good, man. >> Better better days, right? >> Yeah. >> Not good when all the kids. I'll tell you that. >> That's That's Yeah, that's the stuff that pisses me off. I hate that stuff. >> It's playing games with your time and everyone else's time with kids. >> Adults can be stupid towards each other. where they bring kids into it. >> Has playing chips. That's >> I'm doing really bad. >> Yeah, I know. Cash, too. He's a nice kid. Really nice kid. >> He's always in here all the time. That's good news. They got They got him back. That's great news. >> That's fantastic. Hey, you guys have a great night. Be be safe. All right. Have a bless night. >> The woman was charged with interfering with lawful custody. Under Florida law, this offense can carry penalties of up to 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Court-ordered custody and guardianship must always be honored, even by biological parents. Ignoring them can lead to serious and long-term consequences. Sometimes the line between a small misstep and major consequences is as thin as a single moment of lost control. >> No. >> Is that right? >> On July 23rd, 2022, a tense exchange unfolded between local authorities and a mother in a Walmart parking lot. It began when officials noticed her vehicle in a reserved space without a valid permit. What is usually a routine parking matter, often resolved with a simple notice, escalated because of how the mother reacted. >> Do you have a handicap placard? >> Does anyone in this vehicle have a handicap placard? >> It's a yes or no question. Does anyone in the vehicle have a handicap placard? >> No. >> I'm going to take that as a no. >> Do you have Are you the one driving? Have your driver's license. >> Dispatch my grand. >> This is your vehicle. >> Yeah. >> Your driver's license. >> Can I ask you what? >> I I don't know what you What What are you wanting? >> Because you're probably going to take me to jail. Do you have a warrant? >> Yes, ma'am. I think so. >> Okay. What's your warrant for? >> For traffic tickets. >> Okay. >> Do you know how much your bond is? >> $900. >> $900. Okay. And I guess you don't have $900. Okay. >> Does this your mom? >> That's my grandma did. >> Your grandma? >> But my kids are going to go to DCFS. I got a DCFS case already. You taking to jail? My kids are going straight to DCFS. She can't take my kids. You know, >> why can't she take your kids? >> My grandmother has cancer. >> You got a lot of issues going on here. You have a suspended driver's license. I'm going to bet you probably don't have insurance either, do you? I just got my car. This is like my first day driving and I just came over here just to get some wipes cuz I ain't had no money. >> Go ahead and stand over by your vehicle. Okay. I don't want people backing down my door. >> Excuse me, ma'am. Should I grab their car seats to put in your car? >> Put them in their car seats. >> Huh? >> Put them in their car seats in your car. >> Well, how the hell is that going to help if >> Put them in their car seats in your car? >> I put them in my car. Are you going to listen to me? >> Put them in their car seats in your car. >> I didn't even go in the store. >> The atmosphere grew strained when the mother loudly accused the other party of unfair treatment, sparking an unnecessary confrontation in front of her young children. >> No, cuz she doesn't want to ask what the they want to do. Excuse me. That's what it really is. Hold it down. >> Did I just hear you say that this is because you're black? >> Yes. >> No. >> Yes, it is. >> You want to listen? You want to listen to me, >> lady? How many more people are parking handicap? Don't touch me. >> How many more people are putting their handicap without a handicap sticker? >> I didn't even go inside the store only because you're white, not black. Don't raise your voice at me. >> You wouldn't have listened to. >> It's because you're white and I'm black. I didn't even go in the store. I'm parked in handicap because I was getting something from my grandmother white. >> Hold on. I'm sorry. I'm just a biased thing, but I'm I'm a foster career with DCFS and I can tell you like all this is not working. >> You already got a DCFS case. >> Listen to her. Listen to her. >> So, my kids in cuz that's your job. You didn't have to stop. [screaming] >> Why did you stop? >> Listen, I can answer. >> Why did you stop? >> I can answer your question if you >> because you heard what I said. Let her talk. >> Do you want to listen to me? Do you want to listen to what I have to say? >> I don't >> what I do. I will tell your grand I am not going to take her to jail. You're not taking me to jail. >> You're only not taking me to jail for the kids. That's why she ain't taking me to jail. >> That's why she not taking me to jail. That mean my kids. >> Okay. So, she's so inappropriate. And this has zero to do with being black. She's in a handicap spot. You have a handicap placard because you need a handicap >> placer. And so you did you hear her? She said something about you. So I guess maybe that's why you stop. No. >> Oh, you didn't hear that? >> I never heard a single word. Yeah. I didn't hear a single word. I stopped because as I'm driving through, I looked over and I was like, there's handicap placard on there. I backed up. I didn't even get out of my car. I just handicap. So this has zero zero to do with race. Lady, I don't care. I don't fear the lady. >> Yeah, I can put her kids in DCFS. I elected not to do that. >> Do your job. >> Hey. Hey. Hey. Take it easy. You got kids around here, right? Be an adult. >> If this was about race, she would be in handcuffs right now. It's not about race. Okay. So, she's going to get a ticket for parking in a handicap spot. >> She does need to shut up because she looks she looks ridiculous and she's This is not a race. Check everybody's up here who sp their handicap. >> Do you want to get this finished up or do you want to just stand here and yell all night? >> Listen, you do your job. >> Okay, >> I am doing my job. I'm giving you a ticket for your handicap violation. I'm not even taking you to jail. >> Just go home. >> No. You got kids right here. >> Just go home. >> I got a You talk too much. >> I understand all that. >> No, you don't. You've already got a DCFS case. Here's a DCFS worker. >> She don't know what to do with my kids if they take me to jail. She said, "Do your job." >> Listen, I don't know you, baby. But listen, the last thing we want is your kids. It could be worse. >> Like I said, run everybody car up here that say that's part of your handicap. >> Let her do her job. Soon she finish with you. >> That's her job is to run everybody handicap. >> Then run everybody. Park the handicap. Is that what you going to do when you leave me? >> Cuz that that better be what the you going to do? You going to run everybody ticket. Take your ticket and leave. >> Are you going to run everybody? Just go home. Just go home. >> Take the kids home. >> Take your chance to walk away right now. I'm >> talking to you. Would you please listen? >> For the love of God, would you please just go home? >> Officials were trying to complete the paperwork process, but the lack of cooperation led them to apply firmer control steps. Nearby, the children looked on in visible distress as the scene continued. >> He's trying to give you a break here to take the ticket and get out of here before didn't even go to the store. I pulled up right here just to get some white on my drink. >> She said she got the handicap. I pulled right next to her. Come on. >> Just because you don't like how something went. >> I'm telling you, grandma, you going to have to make it here. Grandma, you can >> listen. Are you going to take this or not? Or go put it inside your vehicle. >> Listen, just please take your kids and go home. Be careful. >> Excuse me. >> Excuse me, ma'am. Don't touch my vehicle. >> I'm not touching. Get >> then. Put it under the All right. Listen. >> You are getting real close. Baby, you touching me. >> Can I have your baby, please, ma'am? >> And you might want to call someone to drive you because you've got a suspended driver's license. You have no insurance. >> You might supposed to take me to jail then. >> How I'm going to get home stupid up here cuz I ain't got no >> I'm sorry. >> No, you're not. You're disrespecting me. You're making me look really, really bad. >> It's a white people [ __ ] Y'all want to be on this? >> Like I said, they run everybody. They don't even have >> We That is part of >> I don't have one right there. That >> Well, that's what we're going to go to next. >> Okay, let us do our job. Okay. >> Okay. >> No, he's a grandfather. >> Well, and he's able to drive. >> Yeah, he can drive the car. >> And he can drive her car. >> I'm not going to let no white racist happen. Y'all doing this. >> The stuff you saying is not true. You're just saying >> ass piece of >> Why don't you stop? >> No. >> You know what? >> That is not right. >> It is not right. What you doing? >> Okay, but what she did is right. Remember the >> But she's a law. >> It doesn't matter. >> It does. >> Put your hands back. >> Put your hands behind your back. You want to go to jail, you're going to jail. >> January 20 on a black. >> I don't want I don't want your kids to see you at handcuffs. Okay. This is not what happened. This is Michael [ __ ] >> No, this is you bring this on. >> I tried to catch a break. I tried to let you go. >> Ask him to go and confirm. >> Where you going? >> Oh, I'm just crushing this. >> Where's the Where's the your car keys at? >> In my uh $5. >> My keys on my computer. Not my good. >> How yall know get they car seats? >> Grandma's here. Your grandma here. >> She's not. She's not. They can't take them. My grandfather doesn't know how to watch kids. He didn't can't do nothing with my kids. So my kids have to come with me. >> Your kids can't go to jail. They [laughter] have to. They have no choice cuz then that means >> they're not going to count. >> Yes, they are. >> No, they're not. >> They're not. >> This is what they call DCF. >> That's why you're not coming. Okay. >> So what >> what are you doing? Where's the keys at? Stop. >> Just give me my kids, bro. Your kids are not going to jail. >> Stop. >> I'm not trying to do your kids are not going to jail. Her >> You keep trying to push me. >> That's the big fluffy thing. Grandmother. >> What? >> That's the big fluffy thing. >> All you had to do was just >> You're her grandma. >> Yes. >> Your grandmother. Because it's not right. It doesn't matter right now. She's not my She can't take my kids. >> She's not my Are you saying I'm not your grandmother? cuz they don't came. So, I'm telling y'all that y'all are leaving with my kids with a stranger. >> Okay. Well, your grandfather's coming then. How about that? >> Cannot leave my kids that they don't know. >> You're going to pick up a resisting charge if you don't stop. >> Y'all not y'all leave with my kids with strangers? >> No, we're not. >> But they're not going to leave your kids with strangers. >> Let's go. >> You want my driver's license? >> Come on. >> I sure can't. >> I'm sorry. I don't want to >> stop resisting. Okay. Look what you're doing to your kids right now. Okay. My kids are crying because y and they have to go this part. >> Get in the car. >> My >> sit down. Stop resisting. Stop. You don't try to bite me. Do not try to bite me. >> Do not bite. >> Do not try to bite me. >> Do not. >> Now she's going to go for a fel charge. >> Yep. >> It did not end there. Inside the vehicle, she continued to act impulsively, causing the situation to spiral further. Yeah, she cannot get >> Stop. >> You're about to get tased. Can I get out? >> You're about to get tased. >> Can I please get out? >> I'm chasing my mom. Can I please get out? >> We cannot. >> Can I please? >> Can I please get out? Go home. >> Your mother. If nothing else, please don't bring my mom in this. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Can I please go home? >> Not now. You're not. >> Please. >> Can I please go home? Cuz my kids are gone. I gave you that opportunity. >> Ma'am, I didn't understand why you even stopped me. You didn't even >> Whether you understood it or not. >> Is this a push to start? >> Yes, ma'am. >> What do I push? >> You just got to push the exactly like your car. You got to push the brake. >> Well, I'm going to take the car. >> Can I please go home? >> You had your opportunity. >> You had the chance. I tried to give you a chance. You refused the chance. Now you're going to jail. And now you're going to be looking a felony charge. >> I can't get a felony charge. >> You were looking at a felony charge. You kicked this officer. >> I didn't mean to. Yes, you did. And you attempted to bite him. >> I didn't try to bite. I don't even got teeth in my mouth, ma'am. >> Follow my camera. So, you tried to bite me. So, >> let's get over. We're going to put a secret on you. >> I I got it along the way, too. Yeah. She twice to bite him. I mean, she took it. Where'd you get that from? >> Just a struggle. >> Struggle. >> Yeah. And then she kicked on the door. >> Yeah. She kicked him twice. And um Well, at least twice she kicked you. I saw that. So maybe more cuz our people don't like that. >> Okay. Grandma and grandma. They don't have any kind any other family that >> they said that there is no other family around here. Grandma has cancer. Grandpa, which is actually grandma's ex. I I don't know what his medical status is like, but um I talked to grandma and she said we're just going to have to call DCFS. >> The mother was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and resisting arrest. Under Missouri law, she could face 4 to 14 years in prison. Sometimes the greatest strength in difficult moments is not a raised voice, but calm listening and cooperation. Amid stress, exhaustion, and the pressure of raising children alone, she unintentionally pushed herself into a situation where even her sister, who wanted to help, [music] had to step aside so authorities could step in. >> But you do have somebody on your phone, right? >> Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't know. >> What about your sister? On September 26th, 2024, local officials went to a gas station after reports of a serious disagreement between two sisters. One was caring for three children. The other had driven nearly 90 minutes to visit her nieces and nephews. When she arrived, the sister found the mother not fully alert and the children in concerning conditions. >> You involved in this? >> Yes. >> All right. Come out here. >> Just us two arguing. We are. >> All right. What's going on? >> Okay. So, basically, I had came. My grandma just stay off the exit. What she did imply like I came to get my license plate on my car and then I came to see my nephew. I already told her I was coming to stay tonight. I wasn't going to drive back cuz I came from Atlanta. So I drove like an hour and 30 minutes to come. So we already talked about it. We cool, you know, it's no understanding like that. But she does have a problem when it comes to drinking, you know, like and like she would say like, you know, oh well I don't drink this much or I don't drink as much as this. But it gets her to a point to where she's knocked out. And that's what happened. Like when I walked in, when I knocked on the door, my nephew, my oldest nephew, answered the door. >> Have you ever lived with her? >> I've lived with her in the past, but it hasn't been like recent. >> How long have you lived with her? >> About 2 years ago. >> 2 years ago. Okay. >> So, yeah. So, I come here to visit, whatnot, see my nephew, and he answered the door. I go in there, she knocked out like, "No, I just wake up." Like, at that time it was like 7:00. I'm like, "It's only 7:00. Wake up." Like, they all in here running around just get up. Like, what are you knocked out for? And I'm like, "You ain't she like I'm drunk." Then she go say, "Yeah, I'm tired." Like cool, but I already know you now. I can tell. I've witnessed this for years. Like I could tell I've had to chase her down the street. I've had to pick her up. Mind you, I'm only 16, 17. So it's just like I'm already young doing this, plus taking care of her child. So all of that cool. So as the time went by, she cut me off for like a year or so cuz she's had thoughts in her head of our grandmother being in a ring and my mom's not really her mom's not really her mother and I'm not really her sister and so on and so forth. I didn't really, you know, in a way I was just like I'm just thinking about the kids at the point cuz I don't want to just take them from their mama like but I know she's mentally like it's like a back and forth thing and I know what she does to cope is to drink. Like that's her coke right there. I'm like cool. So I come in today and like wake up n whatever the case may be like bro I don't like when you drunk like that. Like and I'm just staying like under my breath. I'm not yelling like I'm not screaming or nothing like that. She wake up out of her sleep. Goes crazy. You get no blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Mind you, I didn't even call the police after the jump. I did not cuz I wasn't going to. Bro, just chill. Like you're yelling at me first of all. I'm not even yelling. Like mind you. And then like for me to have to act so mature and have to be my big sister. Like what the like what? I'm 22 years old. Like I don't have no kids but I've had to raise one. So I know what it's like. Like I've had to be put through that. >> So does she put hands on you or anything? >> Yeah. Okay. So yeah, she started fighting me and whatnot. So that's when it got to that point because at this point you're hitting me. My nephew's in the way trying to you trying to get you off of me and whatnot. They're all seeing this. You justing you just you're not even seeing where you literally you my nephew. I'm like boom that's it. I'm coming for leave. Every second I move, she trying to knock me out. Every second I'm not I'm not putting her hands back because I'm not trying to do that. We've done that over the years where I've had to put hands on her. Mind you, I am the younger sister. I am the younger one. I'm thinking everywhere. >> Do you have your ID with you? >> It's in my car over there. >> That's fine. Don't Don't worry about it. I'll get your I'll get your name and class. >> From there, each person shared their version of events with everyone believing they were the one treated unfairly. >> What's going on? >> Me and my sister got in a disagreement. Any like any sister, brother, mother, anything. She got the police involved. But I'm not her girlfriend. If you if you run her name, it's her and her girlfriend full of felony charges. But you come in my house and you start coming down on me and I know I've come a long way. My breath is not perfect. I'mma be honest. But I love [laughter] you. >> Everybody makes mistakes. >> It's just not fair. So as soon as we got to altercating, I did run here. So that explains how how we look like right now. I was just like, "Okay, all I know is to run because if I stay there, then I'm definitely going to catch a charge." You know what I'm saying? So that's why I'm here. And I had to use the restroom and I didn't feel comfortable in my own house. But it's just not there. We still live together. >> No, she stays in Atlanta. She came up here. I was fine. I was fine. >> Did you Does you and your sister normally not talk with each other? >> We don't we don't altercate a lot. She just came up here. She said she had to get her tag. I told her, "Okay, I need get me some wings if you want to see your nephew." Mind you, my oldest son when I was going through my number, she was basically his parent, but now I can honestly say I'm the primary caregiver for all of us. But when we was homeless back in the day, did she help? Yes, she did. So, she said she was going to come up here, see him, whatever. Shoot. Like, that's awesome. >> You have a Georgia ID? >> Yes. >> Is that the name on the ID? >> Yes. >> Or you go you have the name that No, >> cuz you're not coming back. If you got a Georgia ID, then you should come back. I should I mean what does that mean? >> That's your actual legal name. >> Yes. >> Do you know your driver's license number? >> No, sir. >> But you do have a driver's license. >> I have an ID. My driver's license isn't valid. >> Is it suspended? >> Yes. I have a breathalyzer in my car that didn't talk to lot. I could get it out. I just kept it in during the summer. I didn't trust myself. I would be honest. >> You got a picture of your question or anything like that? >> I don't even have my phone. >> All right. So, can you tell me the part where she was you? Like how did I get to that? I mean like first she was talking or whatn not and I'm like all right just get back there and she like hear my face spitting on me and all that like get back up and then she just goes off. I mean like she just started and whatn not and I'm not just trying to hit her back but I'm like bro like just get off like you knocking fire from me like >> bust on my lip like you knocking knock knocking me out but at the same time I'm not thinking about I'm thinking about these kids. These kids are all running around you. You flopping over them stepping over them knocking them over because you trying to. But here's my thing. Like I already and I'm already thinking about after this. After this, say she go home with her kids. That's cool. That's why I want her to be safe. I want her to be happy. But at the same time, I cannot sit and just be like, "Oh, them kids is straight." Or, "Oh, everything just straight." Because I know how she is when it comes to the alcohol. I know how it is. So therefore, I'm already have to take this to a whole another battery because she need help. Like it's not even no know nothing else about it. I'm not She's a great mother. So she woke up, she started talking to you first and after a while she got aggressive towards you, correct? >> Yes. >> Okay. What was the first exact thing she did? That was physical that touched you. >> Spit. >> She spit in your face. >> Yes. I'm like, bro. Like, bro. Like just chill. Just back up. >> She spit in your face. What happened after that? >> She started pushing me, you know, telling me to get out. >> Did Did you back at one point? >> Yeah, I did defend myself, but like I let her hit me a couple times before I even did anything, but it was more like a pushing. Like I pushed her on the bed and I had her on the bed. During the review, officials learned that her driving privileges had been withdrawn and the vehicle contained a sobriety tracking device, [music] indicating that previous difficulties could be resurfacing. >> You come over here, ma'am. >> Yes, sir. I chose to come here because I didn't want to physically articate with her. And that's why I'm here. She while I was running away when she was physically coming at me, she called the police. I told her, "Okay, do that." But I came here because I know how we get. We are sisters. We've done this our whole lives. So nothing physical happened. Is that what you're saying? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How much have you had a drink today? >> Um a bottle of XXL wine. A bottle. >> You finished it yourself? >> No. No. >> It's still there. >> But you did drink today, correct? >> Yes. >> All right. So nothing physical happened, right? All right. That's why there's so many of us. You know what I'm saying? >> You know what I'm saying? I love my kids. >> The cops are good on you, man. >> Huh? You say yeah. >> Okay. Nothing lying to say the focus take me sir. Can you call one to get my car? >> Call one of who? >> Uh the women that call the focus. >> We can try. But who's who's the car registered to? >> Okay. So he's going to the Valuchia County branch jail for a child uh may be enhanced due to the nature of it and basically leaving the kid by the road um unattended and so basically he'll go to first appearance in the morning and they'll decide if he's going to get a bond or not. >> Okay. >> And his car is going to be towed. >> Yeah. For our policy we can't release it to anyone that's not the registered owner. >> Understand? child. >> What you trying to figure out, Dwey? >> Oh, yeah. I got his name's in the car. >> The mother and the grandmother, which is where he's with her. >> Yeah, I ran the mother of the child. >> Drop the baby off. I'm like, did you knock on the door or like don't worry. >> I know he was in the car. That's why I said I'm not going to waste my voice. I heard it in the background. I heard it. She also said that while she was on the phone with him, >> he said to her um that he left the baby at her grandmother's house. She goes, >> "Did you give him to the grandmother?" >> Yeah. I asked him two questions. Did you knock on the door like, "Hey, here come the baby." Or did you call my grandma like, "Hey, grandma, come outside. Baby is here." Because from my understanding, I was in Orange City. I was speaking to a cop and they told me that you guys had a police officer near by by my grandma home. So I'm assuming that you guys in my grandma yard. So I'm like, did you guys see him pull up or what? So when he told me a >> mom, I'm not talking about that. I'm telling him what I know. He called me and said, "Oh, I see you got the police around." And I'm like, I'm calling my grandma saying he's in the area. Do you guys see him? But she wasn't answering the phone. And that's when he hung up and called me back and said, "Don't worry about it. I already dropped the baby off. And that's when the the cop called me again and told me the baby is fine. We got him. We got the baby, but Bobby on the run. I'm like, "What do you mean he's on the run?" He said he he dropped the baby off. Yeah, but he he ran off and he just left the baby in the yard. I'm like, "What do you mean he left the baby in the yard?" And that's when and we don't know what he's running for. So that's when I called him and that's when he's answering to Why did you call the police, Sa? What did you have to do? >> Can you tell me how this all started in Orange City? Cuz I mean, we don't have the full. All we have is like a wellbeing track. >> Yeah. Well, it started off because he was already drunk already from like 10:30 p.m. already pissy drunk. Um it started off him being loud, disturbing. Kids are already in bed by 8:00 p.m. But he's so loud and and I'm trying to talk to my mom. He's so loud. So I'm like, "All right, mom. I'm going to get ready to go to bed." And he's still loud. Loud music. So my mom was like, "You know what? Get up. Come to my house with the kids so you guys can get some rest. Don't you touch my son. Don't you you can go but leave the kids here." I'm like, "No, I'm going to take the kids with me." So that's when he grabbed the baby and dip off in the car with the baby. And my mom said, "Call the police." So number one, he's drunk. >> I didn't have a car seat. >> Yeah. >> And he's drunk. >> Yeah. He's just trying. You don't have to talk. >> Oh. >> And then Orange City got down there. They're dealing with you. They get his information. >> I'm listening, Bobby. I'm listening. >> That's when they would instead of all being checked. >> Yes. >> Already. I just kind of wanted to get the full picture before the >> I'm listening, Bobby. The review continued with a vehicle inspection to gather additional information and clarify each person's responsibility. >> Thank you, M. >> Oh, yeah. Grandma immediately recognized. >> Does he want his phone to go with him? His phone. >> Oh, what's up with it? >> His phone and I think a debit card maybe. >> I'll take I'll just take his phone. >> Did you already get the other side? >> No, not yet. >> Okay. I I mean, I don't even know how to read an X-ray to be honest with you. Even if I could x-ray it, I can't tell you if it's if it's fracture or not. Except for what? >> Obviously, it's not normal to be swollen and like that, but again, you were driving and it's probably where you were trying to stop yourself or where you were bracing. >> No, it was until I'm done with all these charges. Yeah. I was just concerned that it keeps getting bigger. >> Yeah. I mean, there's just without an X-ray, there's nothing we can do other than I mean, stabilize it.
