Take a deep breath. >> Just ask me question. >> Just relax. >> Do you know what city we're in? >> New York. contractor. Do you know who the president is? >> I'm not sure, but it sounds like a D. >> Oh my god. So, someone fell. Imagine that. >> Is it? >> We don't know. I'm not your knee. Looks like pretty bad. >> No. >> You want to tell us where your phone is in the car so we can call a number? >> Why would I tell you? >> Because you're not going anywhere near the car because you're under the influence. You can either give us and let us go get your phone or you can go to jail cuz right now you're under the influence on a school and clearly you drove to get here which you probably should not have been doing. So we're trying to be nice to you. We're trying to give you a break and get you a ride, but it's either this or that. >> That. >> So, what's in your car that you don't want us to see? >> Oh my god. Nothing. >> Okay. So, let me go get your phone so we can call somebody to come pick you and your kid out. >> Do you like traumatizing kids? >> Actually, I I kind of do. >> Oh, wow. You >> Which car is her? >> Kids. >> What is it? It's a great one. Is it unlocked? >> Your kids in the car? >> Yeah. >> You want to come check the baby since you're here? >> Yeah. >> Officers acted quickly to ensure the safety of the child while carefully managing the situation with the mother, preventing it from escalating further. >> What the heck? Signage. >> There's a baby. >> Hey, you okay? Hi, sweetie. >> Hey, honey. Do you know where your mommy's phone is? Do you know where your mom's phone is? Where is it? You don't know? >> I don't see a phone. >> No, but we're definitely not letting her drive. I don't know where it's at. Does >> she have emergency contact? >> No. No emergency contact. >> She's about to get naps. >> All we do is figure it out. >> I swear to God. >> You [screaming] sit down now. >> Give me my >> All right. So now you're going to get out of control. >> Where is my kid? Where is she? >> I don't care. Where is the kid? >> Turn around. Stand up. >> We're going to just put it under him. >> Okay. Can you tell me where my kid is? >> Yep. I have him. Don't worry. Give me >> Where? Who? Him. Give me your arm. >> Is it a boy? >> Okay. You going to get tag? >> You about to get tedd. >> Hold on. Can you do it the easy way or do it the hard way? >> So listen. >> Why? >> Cuz that Oh my god. Oal is disgusting. >> Ew, you all are ugly. Why? The mother presented challenges in [music] communication and decision-m which required careful handling during the investigation. >> Sit down. >> I'm sitting. Literally >> lock and lock them so they don't >> literally have been sitting. What is your issue? >> No. Uh emergency contact person. Who's the closest family to here that we can call and have come get your baby? >> Why? >> Because right now you're being placed under Marchment Act. >> Why? because you are intoxicated >> at a school. You're to the point where you're so drunk you're not understanding what we're trying to do. >> Oh, Iing understand your language. >> So, listen to what I'm saying. Who do you want to come get the baby? Do you have a mom? >> A mom. >> Do you have a mom? >> No. >> Okay. So, do you have a sister? >> No. >> Do you have a family member that can come and get this baby? >> No. >> Okay. [laughter] Where is the baby's father? >> No. [screaming] in Massachusetts. No. [laughter and crying] It must be nice to be >> now. Does this baby go to this school or you have another kid here that goes to school? Does she go to school here? >> She's [ __ ] two. >> So, you have another child that goes to school here? >> Obviously, that's why you're here, right? >> From the back. >> Who does a school call when they can't get a hold of you? >> No one. Imagine that. Efforts to reach family members and obtain contact information face challenges affecting [music] the pace of the authorities response. >> You have nobody that can come get the kids that we can call. >> I could, but I can't do it on the cops. >> All right. What's the number? >> I don't know. >> But your phone is not in the car. >> I can't do anything when I'm on cuff. >> Your phone is not in the car. >> It probably is. >> I'm telling you there is no What's your number? I'll call it. What's your What's your phone number? >> What is the phone number to your phone? So, we can try to locate your phone. >> I don't know. >> You don't know your own phone number? >> I know it. >> Okay. What is it? >> Oh, she won't give me the number. >> I will. >> Okay. What's the phone number? >> Let me go get my phone. >> No, you're not going to the car. You're under a Marchman Act. Ambulance is coming. Going to take you to the hospital. >> For what? >> Because you're under a marchman act. You're drunk. >> I'm not going to hospital. >> Yes, you are. >> For what? Oh, you make because you're more money. >> Because you're intoxicated and you're so intoxicated, you're not thinking right now. Okay. >> I see your So, what is your telephone number to your phone? >> You know what? Poor people. They can't afford this. >> So, does your phone work? >> I don't know. I don't have it. >> So, where is your phone? >> Why would you do that to someone I don't >> What is your phone number? What? Well, you don't have the money to go to jail either. So, that's where we're at right now. You're right. >> What is your phone number? >> It sounds like 0800. You >> What is your phone number so we can find your phone? >> It doesn't matter at this point, right? >> Well, it does because you still have two kids. So, they can either go into child protective services. >> That's the only >> or we can have somebody come get them from school. >> Oh my god. It's the only place they're going is CPS and you're c and I hate it. >> Oh, all right. That's fine. >> Oh yeah. So, what is your phone number? >> I hope you sleep at night. >> Okay. What is your phone number? >> USA. >> Okay. What is your real phone number? >> What is your >> I get them and dramatize their bad. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. >> Certain [music] contact details were initially unavailable, prompting additional steps from authorities to handle the situation efficiently. >> It must be happy to smile. You goddamn ugly ass. What are you? 40 50. >> Oh, no. I'm You're good. I'm close. >> Yeah, >> I am close. >> What's your name? >> She has her ID. >> Where's your area code? >> Are you picked up? >> Huh? >> Really tried. You really tried. Thank you. You tried. >> Yes. We just want to find your phone. So your kids have somewhere to go. >> Have you had girls rape? >> Who's talking about >> my [screaming] kids? >> Then why don't we get some help for them? >> There's no help when you send them toing geese yet. >> Then let's not do that. >> What's the option? >> So we are trying to find your phone so we can contact someone so they can come pick them up for you. >> Let me go there. I don't know. >> The flight officers have told you multiple times. >> I don't know. You can block me with my >> You don't remember your phone number? >> I do, but I don't trust this stupid. Go give it to him. >> I will call it so I can locate it. How about that? >> No, I hold with me. I don't care if I my >> He falls again. Then it's on us. >> I don't again. >> Yes, you fell. >> Yes, you did fall. >> I don't care. >> We went and looked for your phone. We couldn't find your phone. That's why we're asking for your phone number so we can hear it ring. >> That's not going to do anything. >> We are really trying to do the right thing for your kids. However, you are not. >> Oh, I'm not. You are 100% not. >> Why? Why? I don't want them going into DCF. >> Give us your phone number and that will stop that from happening. >> Which part is me doing wrong? >> Explain it one more time for you. >> I get it. >> We would like to find your phone so we can call someone to pick them up. >> We are really trying to help your kids out. 1037. >> Certain communication challenges required officers to follow standard [music] legal procedures, including a medical evaluation. >> Sit down. >> Have you done anything else besides? >> No, I've never done that. That's what's pissing me off. I've never And you can test it. I don't care. But stop touching me. I want to kill this woman. >> Can you just have her? You're in custody now. >> I don't care. >> Have to touch. >> I'm sick. >> Stop touch. >> You're about to jail. Stop it. I understand you're intoxicated, but stop to jail. >> Let me go to jail. Let [screaming] go. >> March at the jail cuz now she's got a battery on Leo. >> Oh, cool. Cool. >> She can be medically cleared. Is she that bad? >> Yeah, she's like I don't have the ability. Oh, so I'm sorry. >> Oh, it sounds like anyone can do that. >> H It sounds like anyone can do that. >> I don't know if the jail's going to take her like this without being medically clear. >> Yeah, they probably What's your name? What's your name? >> My name Get the camera. >> I really don't care. >> I'm even in the hospital. I've not been hostile. I'm not a hostile person. I am upset that I don't have my gift cuz that's all I am as a mom. Please don't do this to me. >> I can do anything. >> No, a little bit. >> Whatever you want, whoever you feel that you need to blame to make yourself feel better. >> You know what? When you're a mom of it, yes, it was all my fault. >> No, I didn't say it was all your fault. >> It's all my fault. That's fine. >> That's not what I said. I'm fully to blame for my part in this, but please, I just want to go see my kids. I want to hold them and tell them they're okay. >> Right now, >> obviously not right now. >> Hey. Uh-uh. >> Yeah. >> Go back up against the wall, hun. I'm I'm telling you, they do not play in here. >> What are they going to do? Chase me? >> They might. I don't I don't know what they do there. >> Oh my god, it's a party. >> It's a party, baby. >> And I just need >> apparently I'm terrible. >> No, we don't. You don't got to be terrible. >> What? >> You don't got to be terrible. >> No, just have bad eyebrows. Following the Marchman Act, officers implemented [music] procedures to manage the situation responsibly and maintain safety for everyone. [screaming] >> That's why she's got the leg. >> Then when we got to the hospital, the same thing that Leo Please, please let go of my arm. Please let go of my arm. >> So, everything's stationary right now cuz they're trying to get the blood results because she was not cooperative at the hospital. So, they discharged her. So, you can just go. I'll be here for a little bit. I know. >> Please [screaming] [laughter] get around. >> And I just sit. I don't care if I this. I never I never spit. I'm like, "Okay, well, I appreciate that." >> The mother refused a blood test, delaying [music] the process. Incomplete hospital records required staff to repeat procedures, highlighting the [music] challenges police often face in cases involving intoxication in children. >> I don't care. She me get some blood. They did get blood, but if she refused the treatment, they're not going to process it. >> For what? I was just there. Then you need to cooperate and let them do what they need to do over there >> so you can turn back. >> Hey, knock it off [screaming] now. >> Or what? I die or go to jail? >> That's not even okay. >> Why? >> Because it's not. >> For what? >> Why do you think you're here right now? Stop and just start acting right. Baking your head on my car is not acting right. >> So, who cares? >> Okay. Well, guess what? They'll take care of that here. >> So, they're going to have to wrap her while we're sitting here waiting. >> What are you doing, ma'am? Are you going to calm down >> when I leave? >> No, they No, >> I don't care. I'll go back in there. I don't >> go back in because they didn't cuz she refused at the hospital. So, they won't take her because we don't have some They didn't do her blood work. >> I want to call my kids. That's all I want. >> I don't wish you would have did that. >> Listen, listen listen. >> That's all I want. We're not even done. Do not let her out of that car. >> We're going to have to calm down. >> I don't care. Why is she being so insensitive? What? I put my leg up at her and now she wants to arrest me. >> Oh my god. Stop. We have to go to the hospital. >> I went to the hospital. >> It's going to be a vicious cycle like cuz I'm going to take her back to hospital. She's going to refuse and I'm end up back here and they're not going to take her. >> They sign your paperwork this year. >> They did, but apparently the piece of paper they sent me on the back part doesn't have anything on it. It's blank. So somebody's at the hospital now trying to get that. Initially, the mother was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. The court later applied adjudication withheld, resulting in a 36-month probation, [music] over $11,000 in fines and fees, and 80 hours of community service. This outcome reflects a balance between [music] accountability and providing an opportunity for reflection, learning, and future improvement. What would you think if you saw a mother driving 80 mph with six children in the car, none of whom were properly restrained? You're doing 80 and a 55. You got kids in the front seat. What happens if you get in a wreck? >> On March 7th, 2023, during a routine patrol, police noticed a vehicle traveling at high speed with several young passengers inside. The driver, who was taking her children to watch fireworks, was reportedly under the influence. Not realizing she was being followed, she continued driving in an unsafe manner, requiring police intervention. Is there a reason why you didn't stop? >> Huh? >> So, what do you mean stop? >> Didn't stop because I had my lights on, turn my siren on. I got you at 80 mph. I live >> Yeah. And I got you on camera and everything back there. I took you with the light. You're on the far left lane. All right. Need to see your driver's license proof insurance. >> I don't. I live right there. I have my twins and my >> Okay. Well, the kids aren't restrained. You don't have your seatelt on. >> They do. >> They don't. >> They do. You can't have two people in the front seat. >> I had to get my had to get my sister's kids. It's been a long night trying to get home. I don't >> You got to have your driver's license proof insurance, please. >> You don't have any? >> What's your social? >> I had a a warrant in Madison County. They don't want me out. >> Okay. And what's what is your name? >> Alicia. I just need to make it home to Santa. I live in the trailer park. You will follow me. I will go to court. What's your date of birth? >> Despite evidence, the driver initially denied wrongdoing. >> Okay. >> 105. >> I'm going to ask you, have you been drinking today? >> Yeah. Good. >> Huh? >> I'm going to reap you. >> You had a beer? Just heading to that. So, when was that? Someone's bloody. >> It's been about 2 hours ago. >> Just one beer. >> Okay. >> Well, I'm going to run you through some tests. >> All right. Do you have anything wrong with your eyes or anything? >> I had like 2 hours of sleep. I have twins. That's understandable. I'm going to shut my lights down a little bit and we're going to run you some tests. Okay. This is all recorded. Okay. >> Right. >> During a routine document check, police learned that the driver had unresolved legal issues and was operating the vehicle without a valid license. >> You know, you got to have the kids in the car seats. >> Sir, it's just my sister was drunk. >> Yeah. It's called unlawful restraint in the front. Okay. >> I'd rather drive than my sister. You've been drinking. >> My sister is really >> I took her kids. I do understand. I do understand. But I'm just trying to get home. I know she couldn't drive. There was no way. >> I mean, all the sheriff's up here know me. I'm not trying to say nothing against you, but if it was the sheriff up here, they would >> What are you doing? >> Can anybody stop? >> No, we're almost home. Get in the car, please. >> Singleton on port, >> sir. Really? It was just I didn't want my drive with the kids. It was >> Hey, does your partner want to come up here and do some SFSTs? I have one that's possible.1 N. >> You're clear. I'll be at United Dairy Farmers off of Route 4. >> I really don't want to scare my kid. >> Okay, we'll be in a minute. >> Lulu 21 Xray 677. Here's my traffic stop. >> Okay. And here's the thing. I I'm going to have to tow the vehicle. Okay. Yep. I'm going to tow the vehicle. >> I live right there. >> I get it. We can give you a ride. We'll provide you with a ride. twins. >> You can't drive because I have twins and everything. >> Where was that at? >> Sir, you can't follow me. I don't >> I cannot let you drive, man. >> Can I call somebody? >> 2252. >> You can call somebody come pick you up, but I got to tell >> Can I call >> here? Give me one minute. All right. >> 1730. >> To ensure safety and objectivity, officers conducted field sobriety tests on site. >> Do not move your head at all. Just follow the ink pen with your eyes only. Okay. Can you see the ink pen? >> Yes, sir. Just follow it. Don't move your head. >> All right. You still can see it? >> Yes. >> Some type of hand injury. I still can't rotate him, though. Um, >> you got to follow the ink pen. Okay. So, you only have one beer. Is that what you're going to tell me or you going to tell me the truth? >> No, I have a beer. And >> you told me two hours ago and then you just told the deputy 1 hour ago. So, it's all recorded. I'm just saying it's all not making >> an hour and a half, 2 hours. I had a beer and some mixed drink, but it was like a jello shot. It's not >> Okay. Well, here's what's going to happen next. Okay. >> Okay. >> You're doing fine. >> The subsequent tests were completed quickly. >> I haven't had too much stress. >> Too much. >> I had like that beer and then whatever the jello and then I told you. >> That's tough being a single mom. I had 3 hours of sleep last night and worked a 9 hour shift today. >> All right. That's I mean that's understandable, but you're doing 80 and a 55. You got kids in the front seat. What happens if you get in a wreck? >> I know. I understand. I know. You said you have a job to do and I totally understand that. I was in sheriffs that have followed me home and let me go home. I live right in front of somebody. >> Let's finish these tests like I said and we'll talk afterwards. Okay. >> Okay. So, you have anything wrong with your legs or anything? Can you face me a little bit here? Okay. Legs together, hands down to the side. I'm going to let you pick whatever leg you want. the stand. >> Yeah. Stand on, but don't do it yet until I tell you. You're good. >> By the end of the final test, police had a clear picture of the severity of the situation. >> All right. So, the next one we're going to go on this line. This is kind of a lot. Yeah. That's why I'm going to come down here. Okay. We're going to start right over here. Okay. >> On this way. >> Yep. Put your left foot on there. Right foot in front of your left foot. All right. Stand like that. Do not start until I tell you to do so. Okay. I'm going to demonstrate it for you. Left foot on the line, right foot directly in front of it. Okay? You're going to take nine heel to toe steps down. Okay? When you get to the ninth one, you're going to pivot and then you're going to go take nine heel to toe steps back. You understand that? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Put your right foot in front of that one. >> Also, before you start, watch your feet while you walk out loud and don't stop. >> Correct. >> Until you take the nine steps, turn around, take nine steps back. Do you get all those instructions? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. >> All righty. Thank you. >> Can I take my feet off >> if that helps? >> If that helps. >> That's fine. >> Okay. Left foot on the line. And then on >> and then child call somebody. >> Yeah. >> You ask somebody. >> After completing initial procedures, she was taken to the station where she continued to refuse a breathalyzer test, further delaying the process. >> I'm going to have you have >> a seat in the car. Where's your uh vape at? >> Oh, I'm sorry. It's in my hand. Okay. You have anything on you I need to know about? Anything hidden? All right. Just have a seat here. Actually, I'm going to take you on the other side. So, it's a lot eas. >> Yeah, we'll get it. We're going to put you on the other side. I'm going to put you on the other side. So, that's a lot easier. Oops, sir. >> Have a seat there. That's just a seat belt. Don't let that freak you out. >> All right. You know your password. 2 and contact. Just scroll down. >> In the end, the mother faced multiple charges. OVI, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding, driving under suspension, failure to wear a seat belt, and six counts of children. She was held in Butler County Jail. Under Ohio law, the maximum penalties could exceed 10 years in prison and fines ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. No matter the circumstances, the safety and well-being of children must always come first. This case serves as a strong reminder to all parents. Fun should never come at the expense [music] of a child's safety. Life's pressures heavily influence adults decisions, often with serious consequences for children. >> I've been a single mom. I'm not trying to milk you, nothing. On February [music] 25th, 2025, police received a report of a car accident involving a mother and her young child. Officers arrived on the scene and observed that the mother initially appeared calm, but her behavior quickly became unusual, anxious, and contradictory in her statements. >> She logged in second. 28 New Mexico 211 Tom Mary Adam. I have I have a suspended license because when I moved to Texas, it wasn't valid. >> Okay. >> And so there's no insurance on the car. There's no driver's license. I've been working with um New Mexico to try to get my driver's license since I moved here 2 years ago. I have a warning out on the border for no license, driving, whatever. And I've been trying to take care of all that. So, I'm a single mom with three kids. I'm not working. I live off of my child's disability check. So, I'm selling food place trying to make ends meet. I am not >> Okay, that's fine. Let me check on him and I'll come back and we'll figure out what happened. But I cannot I don't have anyone to I don't want my kids. >> Okay, let me go check on him and make sure he's okay. >> The man involved in the collision was also questioned by police shortly afterward. >> Hello, Officer Purdle. Are you okay? Are you >> Oh, you're fine. >> You're fine? Okay. Can you get your registration insurance and your driver's license for me? >> While you're getting that, what happened? >> I was coming down Stern Drive. >> Uhhuh. >> And I made a left to right hand turn onto the lane. >> This lane here and I took a right hand turn on traffic. I took up my daughter from daycare up here and all of a sudden, boom. So hard I spun around. >> Okay. Look at the I don't know. That's No, this is this is my truck. I moved the white tires. I think I spun around like this the trees. >> Okay. >> I was in this lane over here. >> So you were in this lane and you were going this way. >> Yeah. Yeah, I'm going to to traffic. I to pick up my daughter. >> The mother began sharing her personal story, including her legal history, financial pressures, and family responsibilities. Early information indicated she could be facing additional charges. >> That's crazy. >> Okay. What happened? You need to tell me what happened. driving down this way delivering the plates and he was behind me telling me before we was multiple times from all the way over there. I drive my speed limit here. I have tickets. I have warrants. I know what I have. I have three children that are depending on me because I can't go to jail. Recently with my income tax, I started going to get my license, paid my tickets off so I can be legal. I just got the car. >> I'm confused cuz initially you said that he was behind you. So at what point did he get in front of you? >> Tell me. You think that just happened so quickly to just me to be >> Well, the reason I'm asking you is cuz I wasn't here. You should be paying attention to driving, so you should know when he gets in front of you. >> Okay, don't be sarcastic. >> I'm not. I'm just trying to figure out what happened. >> And I'll show you. I came down this way. I just dropped off a plate. I'll give you the address, the plate that I just dropped off over here. I came over here. He was in front of me. He >> Okay. And then what? >> He was behind me. I felt rushed. I sped up a little bit. I'm beh I'm slow with the new speed limit because I learned my lesson with the share. This is what happened. This is what I saw. This is what didn't happen. This is not what happened. Cuz honestly, all as it was happening, I turned and I looked at my daughter. I turned around and looked at my daughter cuz she was in a car seat. He came over here saying, "You need to have your daughter in a car seat. She's supposed to be in a car seat. She's supposed to be strapped up. She's supposed to be this. She was. She should be in a back seat. Yes, I understand. But my daughter's weight requirement allows her to be in a booster seat. >> So, was she in the front then? >> She was in the front. >> Okay. Okay. >> But her seats are way far back. I thought you chose. And if that's against the law, then I'll take my ticket for that. Whatever. Whatever y'all feel. It is what it is. Whatever. Whatever you guys have to do with me. >> Okay. Just hang tight. Okay. >> Police confirmed she had three outstanding warrants. So releasing her on the spot was not possible. The child had to be cared for by relatives while processing continued. >> I'm trying to figure out what we're going to do. Okay. Like I said, you know, you have warrants. There's three warrants. One out of Otto, two out of Donana County. I'm already calling the Otto County judge to see if I can get you released on your own recgnissance because of the kids situation. So far, what he's told me is he asked if I can take you over there, which isn't a possibility because that's just something that we won't be able to do. So, it sounds like because of how many warrants you have, >> he doesn't want he doesn't want to release you on your own recgnissance. And that's a judge's order. So, with that being said, if he doesn't give us that, if he doesn't allow you to be released on your own recgnissance, I have no choice. I have to contact CYFD to take care of the kids. >> My you can't call my mom. >> That's what I was going to ask you. That's why I'm explaining all this to you. Do you have family here that can watch the kids? >> Can you call her and can she come here? So, is that the plan for me to go to jail right now? >> It is. And that's because the judge in Otero is not wanting to release you because of all the warrant. We're going to walk to this second unit. Okay. The white one. Just right here's good. Okay. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back for me. I'm going to take off your watch. Okay. Cuz they're going to take it off at the jail anyways. >> My thing is I'm from Texas. I'll tell you. I'll give you their number. I'll write it down. Whatever. >> You're going to have that. Okay. Yeah. >> Please. So before we get going anywhere else, let me read you something and then I have a couple questions for you. Okay? So you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questionings if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and do not have to answer my question. Do you understand each of these rights as I have explained them to you? So my question for you, have you been drinking? No. >> Okay. >> Not until honestly not until the accident. >> Not until the accident. >> So you got in a crash and started drinking. >> I We got in the crash. I know. I have a warrant. Doesn't make me do whatever. Whatever. You can think what you want to be. What? I'm just asking you. >> I'm not a bad mom. I'll say what it is. >> I had no problem. We had no interaction with the accident wasn't a problem. I was delivering plates and then when the accident happened, well, if I'm going to jail, I'm not going to jail. >> Okay. >> I hate to say that. I hate to say that. Now, would you charge me with Okay, I'll take it. I'll take it. >> I know. I'll take it. The mother continued sharing more personal stories, but conflicting details required officers to carefully verify the information. >> I will listen. I will take it because for me, I've been a single mom. I'm not trying to milk you. Nothing. Please don't take it. Take my emotion of me milking you. I don't have no agenda. I'm not going to make you feel sorry for me. I know what I do and I know what I don't do. I moved here with family bases thinking that I would have help blah blah blah. I was sober. >> Okay. >> I have not done nothing but drink a boot. >> A boot. >> A boot. >> When was that? >> Probably about an hour and a half ago. >> An hour and a half ago. Where was it? >> My house. >> At your house. A boot of what were you drinking? >> Jose Carbo. >> Of what? >> Jose Carbo. >> Jose Quervo. Okay. Do you normally drink? >> No, not as often. >> Okay. >> I went to rehab. I I never lost custody of my children. Never lost custody of my children. >> Okay. I just want to make sure because you're giving me different stories. About an hour and a half ago, you were drinking at your house. You said you drink Joseé Quervo. And then >> that's not what I said. You took what you wanted to you took what you wanted to say. Now, let me tell you something. I'm not No offense against you, but when I got arrested allo, >> I wasn't even drinking. I did my makeup. I was doing my makeup on my way to go get me a little hot pocket. Okay. I was going to a appointment. Not that you y'all needs to know. So, >> but I was going No, let me tell you. >> No, you were going to correct me about what I said cuz I said you were drinking Joseé QuBO and you said that's wrong. >> No, I drank it 2 hours before I even >> I don't want you to fall. >> I drank it 2 hours before I even left the house. >> I have eight different claims. Whatever. how you want. You already made your assumption. Go ahead. >> Hold on real quick. >> You made your assumption. Go ahead. >> Just hang out right here real quick. Go ahead. >> And actually, let's have you have a seat in here real quick. Okay. >> No, I'm not. You can either make your assumption. You're going to arrest me. Put me in the car. >> Yeah. >> Nope. Okay. >> Yeah. We're going to go in the car. >> You want to arrest me? >> Yeah. You have warrants on the second. >> Oh, that's right. You don't have a K9. >> 209. Give me a 21. Although she was found to have consumed alcohol prior to the incident, police conducted sobriety tests to ensure the rights and safety of all parties involved. >> Okay, Miss Duran, just so I can confirm for the crash report, you said your daughter was in the passenger seat, correct? And you were in the driver's seat. Yes. Okay. So, let me ask you this. Would you be willing to perform some tests for me? >> Yeah. Okay. So, I'm going to >> What kind? >> So, I'll I'll explain them out here. It's just going to be a couple of tests that we go through. But if we do this, I'm going to take your handcuffs off. I don't want you to run or anything like that. Don't get any ideas like that because >> just want to get it out there. That way it's said. Okay. >> I was racing from Dallas. I'm not going to run. >> Okay. Just want to make sure it said I don't want you to pick up any charges that you don't need. Okay. Are you willing to step out and do this? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, I'm going to seat belt you. Go ahead and step out over here. Okay. So, what I need you to do is right where you're at, go ahead and put your feet together. Your heels touching your heels, toes touching your toes, and your arms down at your side. I want you to remain in that position till I tell you to do otherwise. Do you understand? Okay. Are you able to see the tip of my finger? Okay. So, with your eyes and your eyes only, I want you to follow the tip of my finger. Do not move your head at all during this test. Do you understand? >> Keep Keep looking. You're okay. Get back in that position. >> I have ADS, too. >> No, you're okay. Get back in that position for me. Put your feet together and your arms down at your side. Okay. So, follow the tip of my finger. Okay. >> Try not to move your head. Okay. Keep looking at the tip of my finger. Keep looking over here and put your arms back down at your side. >> Okay. Get back in that position for me. >> I can't. >> No, you're okay. >> Just get back in that position for me. Okay. >> Balance and eye tracking tests were carried out according to protocol and the assessments indicated [music] impairment concerns. For this test, what we're going to be doing is a series of nine heel totoe steps down that straight line. During the test, I need you to keep your arms down at your side. You're going to be making each step heel to toe, looking down at your feet, counting each step out loud as you make it. Okay? Once you get to your ninth step, you're going to leave your lead foot planted on the ground, taking a series of small steps, turn yourself around, and then nine heel totoe steps back down the line. Do you understand all that? >> Nine steps. Nine step back >> just as I instructed. So during the test, once you start it, don't stop the test until you've completed it. Do you understand? Okay, go ahead and begin. I hate this. I just don't have coordination. That's why I do this. Three. Four. >> Keep your arms down at your leg. right now. >> If if you want to do it without him, that's fine. >> Yeah.
