No. Get off of me. Get the go to the ground. No, don't do that. You got to tell me what you arresting me for. >> Take care, Rosco. Y'all love y'all. >> Hey, go ahead and just get in. >> Children don't just [music] see the world. They notice the challenges and mistakes adults sometimes try to manage quietly. >> When you're being bad or you're in trouble, what does mom do? >> She you >> No, it's a yellow root cuz he practices voodoo. >> You're my child. You're going to go help. No, I'm not. You are. >> From cars and homes to playgrounds, every action leaves a mark. A reminder that love must go hand in hand with responsibility and care. In this car, a child was surrounded by scattered belongings next to an adult who appeared unwell. On July 31st, 2025, authorities received a call about a mother experiencing a medical issue with a child present in the vehicle. Officers quickly arrived and worked with witnesses to handle the situation carefully, ensuring the child's emotional well-being. >> She was looked over in the car with her daughter, young daughter in the car with her probably. >> Okay. radio. >> I believe it's just a single car. What did that guy tell you? >> He said that he just dropped his kid off by >> Okay. So, he didn't see it. >> I think she came back on the window. She didn't. >> Gotcha. >> This gentleman right here. >> Yeah. I don't think he saw it though, right? >> Yeah. >> I It's got to be a car down there or something. Do you have a license on you by chance? >> Hey, Dory. >> And the car. >> Okay, Des. What's your last name? >> Okay. My uh >> out of the >> Yeah, we just >> My boyfriend >> My boyfriend is leaving work and um and cuz he works. >> Baby, what happened to you? You were in that car right there. So, what happened to you? >> Yeah. What happened? >> Your boyfriend's not here. >> Your boyfriend's not here. So, what what happened? Do you know what you hit or what hit you? >> Not to the point. >> Do you guys need anything? >> No, we're good. Thank you. >> You are not to the point where you guys are saying that I rolled or can you say anything because I >> You didn't say anything. What happened in your car? >> Yeah, what happened in my car? Yes. I'm trying to understand what happened in my car. >> It looks like it was involved in an accident. You were driving. >> You took off too hard. >> Is it okay if that guy leaves? >> Oh, I want to have talked to him. >> Okay. Yeah, I think we need to get somewhere. >> How you doing, sir? What did you Obviously, you didn't see the accident, right? >> No, she was already there. I was dropping my son off day down that way. >> Was she where she's at now? >> Yep. And then I went to the gas station. Then when I came back from the gas station, I turned down here and I turned down here and that piece was in the middle of the road. So I was going to move it and I tell me I'm like well let me just check on her cuz they've been sitting there too long and nobody over knock she would not respond. I didn't know a little girl was back there. >> Okay. >> So I'll just call 911. >> You mind if I just get your name and phone number? >> Yeah. >> I just talked to a lady where that black car in the driveway is. She said she had to drive around all this. She's back at her house now. But said when she went out to drive around this crap, the people in this white house here were sitting on their front porch. So they might have seen stuff. And then there's a ring doorbell. One, two houses down, too. >> All right. Thank you. >> Did you guys give Narcan? >> Did you guys give Narcan? >> I don't believe so. She was alert enough when they talked. >> Okay. >> I'll find out if they do later. >> All right. Thank you. >> Yep. That's >> Did that come out of her car or >> I have no idea. I didn't tell him about the damage on the car, but I don't know if it's exist. Let him know >> there's damage on the car down there. >> I mean, but I don't know if it's been there or not. The black Mitsubishi closest to us has front end damage. Like that could be like a sideswipe kind of deal. Front left bumper. And then the black Mitsubishi, two cars behind that has a uh driver side mirror. >> Okay. Oh yeah, they did not give our hand. >> Okay. She's got Suboxin in here. >> She's got some one >> suboxins. So >> that looks exactly the same as the one that's on the street there. >> Yep. >> Here. >> Well, there's one of her >> suboxins. She's got prior history from >> Okay. She's got that green stuff coming out of her nose. >> She's denying obviously. >> So when we got here, I don't know if you heard, but she was she was slumped over. Her daughter was in the back seat crying. >> Was she buckled in a little bit? >> She said she was buckled in. She wasn't when we got here. I think she unbuckled herself to check on her mom. Ex like pressure pointed her to wake her up and it took a decent amount of time to get her out. >> We got a traffic unit coming. We're probably going to go OVI. >> Yeah, she doesn't have uh no medical issues. >> She's not injured. Vitals are all stable. Nothing wrong with the daughter. >> Okay. >> So, as far as medical um she doesn't want to go back to the hospital anybody. All right. >> Well, then we can have her come out and I'll have her sit in my car. >> Okay. What about her daughter? >> She can sit in the back. >> Somebody able to take her daughter? >> CSV. >> Upon noticing potentially unsafe items in the vehicle, officers took steps to address the situation while shielding the child from any distressing scenes. Ma'am, stop going to clean the car. >> Can I get reverse? >> We'll get it in a second. Okay, >> let's go sit. We're going to have you sit out of the rain in my the back of my car, okay? When we figure out what's going on. Listen, ma'am. I don't want to handcuff you in front of your daughter. [cough] But if we we play this game, it's going to happen. You're under arrest. One for driving without a license. We're going to figure this out. What's going on? We have nics in the game. So, you can either we can go this route and I handcuff you in front of your daughter or you can sit in my car and you can console her until I can figure out what's going on and what we're going to do. >> Your choice. >> Can I pick who can figure up? >> We're going to figure that out. Okay. >> Again, we're going to get out of the rain. Your daughter's hysterical >> and I don't want to make it worse by placing you in handcuffs. She doesn't need to see you that way. So, why don't we go send you my car? >> Okay. Can I have my purse? >> No, please. I have Can I have my number? My phone? >> No. >> How am I going to give you anybody to call? >> I want to get you in my car first and then if you need you need to get a phone number, I'll get your phone number. >> But again, right now, you don't have a lot of options. You are under arrest. I'm just not placing you. >> Do you understand? >> No. Wait. >> You are under arrest. If you want me to place you in handcuffs, I >> don't want to do that because your daughter's here and she's stare. >> So, let's walk to the back of my car. Let's sit down in it >> and get you guys out of the rain. >> Come on. >> Come over here real quick. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me, stick me, stab me? Those Right. I'm just going to pat down the pockets here to make sure you got nothing in them. What do you got? Some money. What's in here? Huh? Listen. What's this? >> Do you want to put daughter in your car once once I give you a bag? >> Yeah. Yeah. Stick your hands out of your do swings. Other hand. >> Suck your foot in. I'm sorry. >> During the vehicle inspection, authorities identified several items that could pose [music] risks to a child. They contacted relatives promptly to ensure the child was removed from the unsafe environment. Grab that. Hold on. 935. >> This is an OVI. Um, so I have a witness who said he got done dropping his child off daycare down there. Was coming down here. She was parked here, went to the gas station, came back and she had moved. Um, bumped over at the wheel unresponsive. child in the car was screaming. >> So there's no accident. >> There is an accident somewhere. I haven't found it. >> Okay. >> She's suspended. I told her like, "Listen, I don't want to. You're under arrest. No version. You're under arrest without a license. While we figure out what's going on in your child who's already I'm not going to put you." I go to paddle down. She's got a large bag in >> little one has uh that teddy bear that's in there. That's >> I figure cuz she's just sitting here. Yeah. >> Hey, Kennedy, >> I'm going to figure out I'll take care of the criminal stuff if you want to do the OBI. >> I don't we have to get uh O'Brien to run the test and everything. >> Yeah, if you want to do that >> cuz I do not know how to do any of that stuff yet. So, I'm not any but I mean if we can get her like this this pisses me off. >> Yeah. >> And I think six is going to go look for the accident down here. >> Okay. Um, there was a car that has a busted driver's mirror and one that looks like it was sideswiped, but if you look, all of her damage is right here. >> So, I got her ID. I'm going to add her to the call for you. >> All right, Desiree, who can we call? Who who can we give your daughter to? >> Um, my daughter lives um right on the street. >> She said she's got a grandma in Norton. >> Um, on 22nd Street. It's not in Norton. It's in It's in Kenmore. >> In Kenmore. Yes. >> What's her name? >> Kathy. I can show you how to get there. >> Do you have your calendar? >> You don't think she had any of those cars? >> I mean, there's damage on like the black one there, but I think it looks old. And that mirror that's damaged there. There's like no pieces or parts around. >> I wonder if she had something further down. >> Yeah. I mean, it looks like it could be a telephone pole or something like that. >> Um, so it might be way down there or >> give the calendar. So, here in a few seconds, once your phone powers on, we'll get your her is that your mom or her father's mom that lives on 22nd Street? >> My mom. >> Your mom. Okay. So, once the phone powers on, we're going to call her. I got to get some information. Uh, so what's going to happen is we have to call CSB. We're going to rule six your daughter. And then if CSB is okay with her going to your grandmother, that's where she'll be released to. Or your mom. Has your mom ever been convicted of any crimes, any felonies, anything like that? Wait, can I can I change your person then? >> Is there a different family member that she that you wanted? >> That might be more qualified. Yeah. >> Would that be yours? >> Um, could could you get my phone for me? >> It It's dead. So, that's that's the problem. So, we're I have it plugged in. It's going to charge up for a little bit and then we'll get the numbers and things like that. >> Okay. >> And then just give me just give me the number. >> Yeah. I'm going to have to talk to you mean like I need a supervisor and stuff like that. >> What do you mean? Like like when you say like CFB >> we're going to take custody of your daughter. You overdose in a car while driving. We're the state is taking custody. >> I didn't overdose. >> You did. That's okay. >> Nan don't even do opiates. These if I would have to guess is morphine. >> Oh substance. She also had a green zany bar. >> Yeah. So, you know, all >> the mother continued to show signs of fatigue, [music] emphasizing the importance of adults remaining alert, healthy, and attentive when caring for children. >> Where are the keys? Des. Hey guys, >> he's zonked out. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> Hey, you got to stay awake. >> Are you going to have to go down to the hospital? >> I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm sorry. >> I know. I know. I'm not trying to you either, but I got to get you up. >> Okay. >> Okay. Hold on. Here. This is what you need to do. This is driving me crazy. You need to blow your nose. Blow it. >> Blow it again. >> I think Yeah, that's what you needed to get out. >> Now, if you don't need another like trap grab, you need to stay up. >> Okay. >> Okay. I I'm not trying to hurt you. >> Trust and believe I'm not trying to. >> I see. >> Okay. You just need to stay up. >> We got an answer from CSB. >> They're They're coming. We're taking they're coming. >> Yeah. Just sure if we were taking them per her CSB was me. So, >> um probably be quicker. idea to do the paperwork. >> Okay. >> I gave her my phone. She was watching Netflix. And >> I don't think I'm going to >> They can't reach now. >> You want her to go with your mom? >> My dog. >> They They said because you had the on you, >> you can't just go straight there. I'm not going to lecture you, but I I I really hope that uh this change is something for you here. If you you start kning off, whatever, dude. Just grab that mat. >> Okay. >> And just pinch hard. She usually just wakes. >> Yeah. She had to get all that cuz I'm sure that's >> Mhm. >> The mother was charged with on a police officer, possession of drugs, and child. Under Ohio law, she [music] could face 5 to 15 years in prison. Every adult action directly impacts children. This story reminds [music] us that staying attentive, acting responsibly, and placing children's safety first are not just choices. They are obligations. >> What is that? >> It's something someone gave me. >> Be more specific for my curiosity, please. >> This is lucky item believed to protect oneself from misfortune. But this time, could luck change the consequences of unsafe behavior? On May 8th, [music] 2023, Clark County authorities received a call from an 11-year-old girl reporting a [music] family dispute involving her mother's partner. The man had used a potentially unsafe item in the yard despite the mother's warnings. When officers arrived, a child ran out in fear. >> All right. Are you the one that called us? >> No, my sister did. >> Your sister did? Okay. What's going on? >> Um, basically my mama boyfriend had took her gun and was shooting in the yard. Even though mama told him not to shoot me in the yard, he did it anyway. scared me and my sister, but he left because you know that the police is coming. >> Clear. I was just informed by the daughter that the male has gone status one. Uh do you know what he drives? >> It's a Ford. >> Wait, that's my mama. Mommy, >> who all is here? >> Me, mom, and my sister. >> Stand by for description. >> Mom, what's up? I can't afford. >> You need my phone? >> I am. >> You come in. >> All right, hun. What's going on? >> My uh boyfriend, well 843. >> What car is he driving right now? >> In my car, I got 2017 Ford Focus S. >> Okay. Ford Focus SC. What color is it? You have like a tag of it by chance? >> My tag is 91 Central 28 for the vehicle. >> Oh, I called him on the phone. He'll come back for you. >> Are you wanting to pursue any charges? >> No, I told him. Oh, he'll come back for you. Hold on. >> But it is he got in the house. He which is clear. They don't like the charge. Bottom line. And he just he didn't touch him. >> My boyfriend. >> Okay. >> Clark County said he needs you to come back. What happened? >> He was shooting over here. >> Mhm. Was he shooting to the ground or >> I don't know. I just heard I just heard gunshots cuz I knew what gunshot sound like. >> And he said he's not going to ask you twice. And if he got to ask you more than one time, he will put a PA on the car. He said he need you to come back in the yard. He need you to have a conversation with him and explain what y'all got going on. He said he not asking no more than once and he right here so you can hear him. Clark County. >> They were shooting. He was shooting out here and I got scared and I had called. They had told him that there was some elderly people uh living over there too. So >> I got your problem. >> What's your name, honey? >> Tell him I call. >> He hear you. >> You coming back? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. How far away are you? >> Um not that far. >> Okay. >> I'll be back like in 5 minutes. >> All right. Thank you. >> Okay. >> What's your birthday? >> 2018. >> He's coming back. >> He is coming back. >> Yeah. Yeah. He going to come back cuz he already know cuz you pulled in cars. Like I said, you know, my gun is in the car, but my my gun is rested to me, but he already know, you know, >> it's in the vehicle. >> Yeah, I'm I keep my gun in the bus shooting in the house. >> Both the mother and children reported that this was not the first time the partner had acted in ways that caused [music] stress and they had previous disputes that required intervention. >> That's what told him he has a 1032 with him. Do you know where he was standing at when he shot it? >> We was in the house, but if I had to >> You don't know. >> I said we was in the house. I assume it will be like right here in this area cuz she mostly shoots right here like right over there. >> Anyway, I came here, I just started cooking them, you know, brought us some chicken to children and then cooking some corn, you know, vegetable, whatever place. And when I was in the kitchen, he Rozie was in the room and church was in their own room doing their own thing. He just sitting at the basketball. He started bouncing the basketball. So Risia heard the basketball bounce and she got mad and was like, "Don't be uh touching my don't be touching my she don't move child blah blah blah." That's another situation that I got to deal with Clark County Court with her for all this money for the stuff going on with her. So anyway, she told her he was like, "I'm just bouncing the ball." She was like, "Yeah, but don't touch my up when you get mad. When we touch, you get mad and want to fight and argue and stuff like that. So don't touch my." So he was like, "All right." So he had just dropped the ball and roll the ball. So Roz didn't touch her. arrived kept on pushing him and shoving him. >> Okay. Which one is that? >> The little trunk one. Okay. >> She kept, you know, she was like, "Don't touch me. Come touch my >> And he was like, >> "What was your birthday?" "Oh, your birthday's coming up, ain't it?" >> Did you hear what happened or see what happened? >> He was like, "Okay." He was like, "He didn't say nothing." He like, "Man, talk to Jill. J get her." and she kept on walking behind him and pushing him and stuff and carrying on but he didn't talk. >> Um I heard what happened and I could just kind of like see my head would kind of happen cuz he does this like often mama told him not to do it. >> Okay. >> And then she was like don't be letting him touch my got that ride to Jeff basketball. He didn't bust it. He didn't do anything to it. He just think it over. He was just m so you can't be putting your hands on and pushing nobody. She was like yeah I know but it's still my basketball. He don't even touch my stuff cuz he get mad when we touch his stuff. >> Does he live here? >> I was in my room on my mama phone or whatever. I just heard I was hearing I did hear previous that came like from over there from someone else probably like doing something probably like target practice. I'm not sure. So I'm not going to say they get the out but he be here from time to time. I just work with him. >> Okay. So is he staying here then? >> No, he just be over here whenever I want to be bothered. >> Okay. >> Well, I heard shot I was in my room. I did get scared of living, so I jumped. So, I came out of my room to see what was happening. I heard two of them. Mama said, "Why you shooting this girl? I just told you not to shoot this gun. I got minors in my house and I'm not going to get no charge just cuz you decided to shoot a gun." >> Me and him got a court situation going on between us two anyway already. And I'm just working with him because he's waiting on his vehicle to be fixed. So, that's what we're doing. Even though we did go to court for it, >> that's 10. And he has done this before. He even done this at our old place or whatever. So mama cuz I had went back to my room or whatever cuz he was arguing again. She told me to get out of the face. So that's what I did. And she busted in my room and she was like, "Call number one." I was like, "Okay." So I did. But then she was like, "Oh, she Oh, he's going to leave. He's going to leave." So I hung up the phone and mama accidentally called again. And then she pretended and she made it seem as if she called 911. And he would just be like, "Oh, T, wait, baby. Wait, wait, wait." >> He scared of the police. He already worked together. >> Even though me and him did have an issue back in December where we had to go to court for a domestic which you see bumped me where we got into it about some stuff about my car. >> Is there a current bond between the two of y'all? >> Which mean >> like TPO protection order? >> Um, I think they dropped the TPO because we had went to court, but we got to go back for some more stuff on the 27th. She did tell me it was certain things within the restriction. I do have certain things what's in place me doing something you know stuff like that you know really you don't really supposed to be you know your TP off because she like once it go to court we take that off you got to put your own TP on back on and then what you going to do blah blah blah but we do got certain restrictions in place if he come over and do stuff like that anyway. >> Okay. So I'm I'm going to end up taking a look at that cuz they just uploaded for >> Jim two was still arguing and then mama went to Razia room and apparently Razia called the police which is y'all right now. >> Why do I believe he's on his way back? That's what she just told Deon. >> We really don't supposed to be dealing with one another, but I'm trying to work with you to the best of my ability because you know what I'm saying? I know your car, right? >> And you said you've seen the gun. >> Um, yeah. I have seen it before in his hand. I have seen it. >> What it look like? >> Uh-huh. >> What you What did you tell me it look like? >> It's a small black old pistol. >> Well, it's brown. >> It's not silver. >> It's dark brown. Yeah, it's dark brown. I think it's dark brown. Does it look like how our guns look or does it look like a old one? >> A old one. >> An old one. Okay. Does it have like the p the circle piece on it? And you said he shot twice today. >> He doesn't have the license. Oh, my mama does. >> He shot more than twice. >> How many times did he shoot today? >> It was at least four or five. >> Authorities documented detailed statements from all witnesses, though the full purpose behind the actions remained unclear. Let's go back to when he went out to your vehicle and grabbed the gift. >> He went out to the vehicle and he had already picked up the gun or whatever and I told him, you know what I'm saying? Put my back in the um thing to keep it in the holster. >> It's a 14-year-old. >> What's up? He He's the one that called, but she's a witness as well. She said that they were arguing. He pulled it out. He pulls it out and flashes it, shoots it pretty often when they get an argument. Okay. And then he's like, "I'm not going to do mad. I'm not going to" I said, "Yeah, but I don't want to brought it in the house cuz he leave anyway." And I told him, "Don't bring it in the house because the children in the house because I don't trust rid anyway." So I always keep it out there in the car way go in the park. It's already in the car. It's fresh. So he was like, "Yeah, I got it." So I told him, "Um, don't shoot that gun out here." You know what I'm saying? Even though I know a lot of people do shoot, but I don't know what kind of babys are. I just moved out here. So I don't know. >> Which is, you know, whatever. Anyway, he shot it and I said, "Well, don't get >> So was he outside when he shot it or was he inside?" >> No, he was outside. >> Okay. >> No. 14-year-old called in reference. So mom and mom and boyfriend got into an argument which there's a bond condition for them to stay away. 14-year-old called police cuz they were arguing and he started shooting as >> Was he in the driveway? >> Yeah, he went all by the woods. >> Okay. So on the right side of the driveway in the woods and he Okay. So he ground a shot and nobody can do nothing. But still the point is that I still explain to him clearly that even though it's my even though it's fresh, but that's not the point. >> Yeah. >> Y I call you right back. >> Does he have criminal history? If he don't have anything, I'll be right back. >> But was he shooting it to intimidate her is a question >> because they were in an argument and then he came out here and started shooting us. >> So let's say if you >> the kids were scared. That's why they called. >> So I I guess where would the shooting to intimidate another person, where would that cross a threshold into a crime? >> What do you mean? >> So like if you're shooting around a person or near a person, obviously that's a all day. Or pointing a gun at a person. If you're going out in the backyard and shooting >> Well, that's We don't know if he was back here. The kids just said it the the shots sounded like they came from over here. >> We don't know. >> Probably terrible idea. >> He her mom he walked off into the woods and fired a couple times into the ground. >> Kids weren't around. >> What was his purpose for? >> She didn't say. >> Didn't say anything to you while he shooting. >> He said he came back inside. She yelled at him for shooting cuz that's her stays in her vehicle. And then after they yelled at each other, uh, he left. So >> question for you. when he shot the what was the reason he he shot the >> man he just like shoot stuff when he made that animation >> did he say anything to you when he shot it? Oh no. >> What's up? I told you like he also he just he know like more country be shooting shooting ground. He ain't going to nobody say nobody about nobody. >> Okay. Well just just beware. We can't just shoot just cuz I already told him you don't want to listen to me then he can listen to y'all. >> Where did he go? Do you know? >> Oh he on the way back. J >> like not like not like in a bassive way or not like not just every single day >> but like >> would you want to talk to them about that? I got to move my car real quick which uh that way he can get in the driveway. >> He already told him he he g him five minutes. He already told him he'll get here and then he going to put a CPO on my car and then he was like we stopping and it is what it is. Just need you to come out here and so we can have a conversation with you and figure out what we going to do. >> I got you. are not like um everyday is a bit but like when he gets mad or whatever he likes to like bring it out on my mama and like >> at the police's request the [music] mother's partner came forward. Initial information indicated that the dispute started from a game in the yard. >> There you go. Right there. And he would like to play him that he would get sometimes he would and you see all the damages on the car. >> Yeah. >> He did all that. All right. Having paid for [ __ ] over here for me. >> What's going on, man? >> Real quick. >> You okay? >> What about if I patch you down? Just make sure you don't have >> Okay. Wait. Hey, guys. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. >> Let's go patch it down real quick. Make >> Oh, she did. Get it off. >> Okay. Go in there. >> Let me just grab it. >> So, what's going on, buddy? Would you get blood today? >> I got infected, too. So, >> no. Just the dog. >> Oh, the dog. >> The dog. >> I'm talking about the gun. Where? >> Oh, my gun. >> Don't Don't grab it. >> Oh, no. It's >> Come here, puppy dog. >> What happened today? What's wrong? >> Why were we called? >> My little uh stepdaughter light carefully. She never had care. >> I looked for my lighting. What happened today? Why did we get >> here? Ma'am, let me just grab it real quick. Okay. Make sure there's no >> cuz I had basketball and she came running off and pushed me and stuff and they said they heard a shot. >> This is your car, right? >> Yeah, they're in my car. >> Okay. And you're going to meet if I go grab the gun. >> Oh, I mean, let's walk through one step at a time, okay? Cuz I just want to build a story in my mind. I don't know if he moved it or whatever. Where's the >> just before you left? >> I don't have a >> No, she's saying where is my mama house? >> Well, apparently the children talk. He explained to you. >> Yeah. >> Paint me a picture 20 minutes before you left here. >> Yeah. Yes, sir. >> Walk me through your day. Take me a picture. >> All right. 20 minutes before I left. Uh >> I came Yeah, I had that, too. Yeah. I got here and >> I went we went got some food and came here. So, she was fixing something. So we start playing with the basketball. >> I start playing with the basketball. She start um rise. She start pushing on me and stuff like that. I ain't said nothing to her. I ain't open my mouth to her or nothing out the way. Yeah. I ain't I ain't open my mouth back to her. >> What do you mean by that? >> Like I ain't said nothing back to her and she just starting me, pushing me. I'm passing that's >> again. I'm just trying to paint a picture here. Right. >> Yeah. >> Talk me through some details. Like we were standing in the kitchen. She was fixing uh she was cooking some kind of vegetable stuff. I start bouncing the basketball. I got the best ball and start bouncing cuz you know my kidney it got infected. I felt a little better and I started bouncing the basketball and and R she got upset. Told me don't touch my basketball and stuff like that right there. I ain't trying to interrupt me. Can I get a light? >> Yeah. I'll go find you a lighter. Hang tight here with these officers. >> All right. >> Hey mama. >> Thank you. >> We got us one. Sorry. Did you take her the gun that she usually has in her car? Did you take that to your mom's house? >> It's Yeah, it been at my mom's house. >> It wasn't here today. >> Oh, it been at my mom house. >> When questioned, the man gave an account different from those of the mother and children, creating conflicting statements. >> Just a question. You're saying the gun's at your mom's house? >> Yeah. >> Why would the kids call 911 saying you're out here shooting? >> Yeah, it's it'd be people shooting around her all the time. People back there and people right there. I guess I don't know where the shot come from, but it people be shooting it all the time. Like, >> so if I tested your hands for a shot residue, you wouldn't have any on it. >> And just let me preface that by what we're being told is this was a revolver. I don't know how familiar you are with, >> but revolvers have a cylinder cap. They release quite a bit of that carbon and that's what we would search on your hands for. It's a chemical test. It tells us when someone's firing and with a revolver, it's very, very certain if someone had it. Yeah, >> we're not saying you're lying to us, but if you are, it would be very, very evident very quickly. >> We just want the truth. >> Yeah. No, >> I was kind of bluffing when I said that, but >> I don't see any purpose to actually do PSR, >> but now we have the issue of where he clearly took it with him and did it somewhere. >> Who would shoot like to a kid anyway? Like there were no kids outside. >> They weren't saying that you shot towards anybody. Uh, hey hun. That puppy just got out. >> I don't know if y'all want him out. >> Is he okay? Okay. So, we're we're not nobody's saying that you shot at anybody. Our only question was whether you shot at all, whether it was >> Yeah. That that's what we're trying to figure out. >> Yeah. Like will there be a crime like if you shoot >> outside? >> Yeah. Um, >> when you got it puts them in >> No, they're not. >> But it it it's basically like disorderly conduct, right? You're not supposed to be shooting guns out in yards or anything like that. you not supposed to shoot in the yard. >> So, it's it it really depends on the circumstances around what you did and how you did it. Yeah. So, if you're in a if you're in a crowd or if you're in an area where people are going to be freaked out or afraid of the shots, that's a little bit different than, you know, you and buddies going out into the back and shooting rounds into a tree. You know what I'm saying? Just for >> Yeah. Cuz again, it's not like like your closest neighbor's right there, but again, you don't have people right back there, anything like that. So again, I'm not saying you can't shoot. >> But like this other officer explained, if there's other people around, they feel by it and you didn't shoot at all. Nothing like that. >> Don't put them in a harm way. Well, I look like >> I'm not I'm not asking you to put them in. I'm asking if you shot at all. >> Hello. >> Stay away from her. This address, no harassing or communication. Do not return except may return with police escort to pick up his stuff. That was December 2022. Yeah, everything's valid. I never put down money. I When she came up, Chris said, "I ain't saying I told him this." >> Yeah. I ain't saying nothing. Wait. Did I? >> I swear. >> Yeah. >> You tell me the same thing. >> Oh, that's that's what she told me. >> You don't real water, please. >> Are you living here or you just stay here? >> Okay. Between here and your mama's house. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, I told you I got kidney experience. >> Oh, it's just your medication for your kidney infection. >> Okay. Well, I mean, we'll go ahead and put you in handcuffs, sir. Put your hands behind back. >> Um, you have a very, very strong pulse. >> Is there a reason you got a strong pulse? No, you just got a very strong pulse. It's unreasonably strong. >> You nervous? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Smoke one more cigarette. >> Oh, we might be able to get you one more cigarette. Oh, actually, you're going with you're going with all of a cigarette. >> Smoke right now. >> Oh, she ain't going to let she don't like smell. >> Do you want me to put these back? >> I take those go with you. We're going to go ahead and step towards this vehicle. Okay. >> We had a bun thing because of some stuff we got into it back in December. I was truthful with him and I told him that I was trying to help him out because his car was getting fit and even though he know what we got, but you could have just chilled out till you got your car feet. >> We're Hey, man. I'm going to go ahead and let you take your meds. >> All right. >> Just so uh your kidneys don't start acting up on you after we uh search you. We're going to put you down and then I'll let you take your medicine then. Okay. These are the only two pills you need to take. All right. So I go >> somebody trying to help you out. You already know you on she got to sit down. >> Well, I don't want you to get in trouble. If he goes back to court and they know that he's been in here because you invited him, then the judge may turn it around on you. So just be careful. >> Yeah, I told Da. Me and Da had a conversation there. We I told her, too. >> What's in this bag here? My stuff. >> Come out. Ty. Come out. >> That was very specific. >> Yeah. >> Is it something that's going to get you in trouble if we take it into the jail? >> TPO is valid. Okay. >> All right. >> You guys can't have any contact. That's why you're going to jail. The bond condition for you guys to have zero contact. >> Authorities found an item whose purpose was not immediately clear, adding complexity to the situation. >> Please don't cut yourself. >> I don't want to sign the forward injury on >> Sarge. Your faith in me never fails to >> saying I don't know what boy scout classes y'all have gone to. You know, whiddling's a second year thing. >> I grew up in the sticks. Do you want to ask? >> Do you want to ask him? >> I don't know what that is. >> I want to ask. >> I would love to ask. >> No, you don't have gloves on. >> It's fine. I've done worse. >> Yeah, I'm going to make a first reported on you. No, >> I'll just die. I'm ready. Hey, buddy. Question for you. >> Yes, sir. >> What is that? >> It's something me. >> Be more specific for my curiosity, please. >> It's voodoo. >> It's voodoo. Okay. >> Can you be any more specific? Like she know what it is. >> Dana, please come out. >> Can you uh enlighten me on what exactly this is? That was in his pocket. He said it's voodoo and that you'll know what it is. >> Yeah, some type of be >> some type of voodoo stuff. >> Yeah, it's >> okay. So, it's not going to be if I test it. >> It should be a used >> Oh, I don't know what voodoo people do. It's like a yellow root like >> a yellow root. >> Uh-huh. >> Okay. Yeah. What's that mean for me now that I opened it? That bad? I won't know cuz I don't do voodoo. Only they do voodoo. I don't do voodoo. >> That makes sense. All right. You know, some people go to the voodoo doctor for like >> elements and stuff. >> Yeah. Elements, rich, uh, you know, like trying to money. Okay. Prosperity, you know, stuff like that. It ain't, it shouldn't be no. It's a yellow group. I mean, but you want to >> I got you. I mean, no, it's I've never seen it before. I don't think any of us have. So, that's why we were just Usually when stuff's wrapped up in tinfoil, it's it's drug. So, >> I got you. Okay. Police continued investigating, working to verify the witness's accounts. >> You Miranda, real quick. All right. You have the right to remain silent. Any um she said it's yellow root and he goes to the voodoo doctor to boot. >> You did. That was very interesting. >> Do you understand each of these rides I've explained to you? It's a yes or no. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us right now? >> Yes, sir. >> So, did you have the firearm in that vehicle going to your mama's house? >> It's at my mama's house. >> Okay. So, was it in the vehicle with you? No sir. >> So, how did you get it to your mama's house? >> My girlfriend. It been a minute. It been at home for a long time. >> Okay. Why is she saying that it stays in her vehicle? >> Because it used to before the dog mess up. >> No, it's a yellow root cuz he practices voodoo. >> I ask her one question. >> Who? >> Stay in the car. Stay in the car. >> Sit back down. >> Can you Can I Can you come up for one second? >> What's up? >> Please. >> I'm right here. >> Please let me smoke one more cigarette. Please. Please. Not if you're riding in my car. >> I'm I'm going to stand out. >> I mean, >> I cannot let you stand outside the vehicle. >> Will you take get one of them take me? >> How did they get to your mom's house? >> Me and her went together. >> She told me she has no idea how it got to >> It been a minute. It >> We had it here about an hour ago. So, why are all the kids saying the same that you were holding the gun out here messing with it and shooting? She also told us you were out here shooting the gun. >> The gun has it. >> So, all three of them are lying. >> It happened. >> Are all three of them lying to us? >> Like, y'all can tell. >> Yes or no question. Are all three of those people yell lying to us about the >> They heard the shots. But I understand. >> So why would all three of them say that you were the one out here shooting? >> What? I don't understand. >> And why would you leave before we got here and then come back? >> You know why I left? >> Why? We're asking you. >> Why? You know why I left? >> Nope. >> Why? Why'd you leave? >> Cuz I was scared of going to jail. Cuz >> Why would you go to jail? Cuz you when I just told you about the condition, you didn't know what I was talking about. >> I knew that. But she always let me come back home. Y'all don't understand. >> But you But you signed papers to the judge saying you were not going to come back. Oh, y'all just don't understand me. Y'all just don't understand. Like, >> again, there's no contact. >> Like, someone need to understand. >> The two of y'all The two of y'all cannot have contact. >> Like, someone need to understand. >> There's nothing else to understand. Understand me. Like, I >> There's nothing else to understand. >> I know, but listen. I had some stuff in my phone. >> The little girl talking about me everything. >> Okay. Again. >> But I haven't. >> Are the three of them lying to us about the >> They I said they had they they probably did heard shots. >> Okay. Then why are the three of them saying you had a gun? >> Because the little girls don't like me. >> Okay. It's not just a little girl. All three of them. So, are they lying or are you lying? >> I'm not lying. >> You sure? >> Yes. I don't have them. >> There's three of them that have witnessed you with a arm before you left. >> You saw him with the gun today? >> Um I did see him put it in their clothes, but then mama had to take it out because she wasn't going to get charged with anything. >> What's up with that? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> Like I have to tell you too. I did not have a gun that at my mama house. >> Yeah, I saw with the >> again the three of them are lying that they saw you with >> they ain't seen me with no. >> So they're lying >> like when Rise like Rise did not >> So they're lying. >> She did not her room. >> So sometime I do keep it in car but I know that Riseia is an unruly child and I got problems with her. So sometime I have to keep it out the house cuz I just don't trust Rise. >> You have a log for it. >> I have a um zipper thing for it but normally it be in my car. So Riser don't have access so I can keep my feet. >> I'm not talking about just her. All three of them >> and Lanny, she went in her room. >> All three of them said they saw you with a gun. >> The only someone out is Rena. >> Okay. Again, all three of them said you had a gun. >> Yes, I know. >> Yes. You know. >> Yes. So you said >> So did you have a gun with you? >> Okay. So then how >> I don't know. >> Okay. Doesn't matter if it's your gun. Did you have a gun with you? >> No, sir. Only thing I had to say. As the situation unfolded, the mother's partner tried to show affection to the children, but was met with a cold response. >> Not to cut you off. I'm sorry. To just to clarify, you saw him shoot the gun out here earlier today. >> I heard it. Mhm. When I was in the house, I heard a shot. >> Did you see him with the >> No, I heard it. So, I knew it like, okay, you must got my >> to your knowledge, the gun was in your vehicle today. Like, you didn't take it to his mom's house last week. >> It was down there last week. It was >> cuz he's telling us that you took it to his mom's house. >> I don't never take it. >> Go ahead and put your feet in. >> Hey, um, >> put your feet in. Hey, >> she said the should be in her car and that she did not take it down there. >> She It was down there last week, but >> she told me today it should be here and the kids saw it earlier. >> He was evading that the entire time I was asking. >> Yeah, if it's not a yes or no question, then >> I'm good with that as well as violation. >> All right, go ahead and step out. >> All right, >> I'm taking a cigarette in, please. >> Uh, no. We're going to get going. It's hot out. You're already sweating. Get you >> I love you girl. Love y'all. Bye y'all. >> All right. Take care of Rosco, y'all. Love y'all. >> Hey, go ahead and just get in. >> Go ahead and get in. >> By the I need to talk to you. >> All right. >> Thank you. >> Violation of the TPO as well as convicted felon in possession of a >> But I don't have no armor. You hear me? >> I hear you. We got three witnesses saying they saw you with it. And the owner of the says that it was supposed to be in her vehicle. >> Yo, it been at my mama house. Is this someone I can talk to? >> When you get a phone call at the jail, you can I can't talk about that. >> What do you mean? Who you want to talk to? Well, you talk to me right now. >> I can help with something. >> Okay. What can you help with? >> A lot of stuff. >> With a lot of stuff. >> I know a lot of unle stuff. >> Are you only saying that cuz you're going to jail right now? >> No, sir. For sure not. >> Well, I'm talking to you right now. >> I told you I know what a lot of I know a lot of illegal stuff. >> The man was booked into the county jail on charges of possession of a by a felony first offender and [music] of family violence. Under Georgia law, he could face 2 to 15 years in prison. True care always comes with responsibility. Adults who genuinely care for children must ensure they grow up in a safe, [music] supportive environment, free from stress or fear. >> What do you mean information from me? So now I got to fight to get my child back for noing reason. So this the third one y'all took from me for noing reason. >> This mother was very distressed, having previously been separated from her first two children, and now seemed to face similar circumstances again. On March 2nd, 2025, Police and [music] Child Protective Services, CPS, arrived with a court order to ensure temporary care for a 7-week old boy. The mother was uncooperative and despite officers efforts to explain and reassure her, emotions ran high, making calm discussion difficult. >> So, you guys came out yesterday and she didn't answer. >> We came out Friday, yesterday, twice. >> Who have you been coming out with? Um, I don't know because I'm just on today like officers and property management or I think just officer. Usually we call officers when we do it. >> We'll be able to knock and see if they come to the door, but we're not going to be able to force open the door. You'd probably have to contact AMHA property during our business hours and they'd be able to maybe go in there, but we we're not going to be able to force that door open. >> They have a back door here, right? They do. Okay, I'll go around back. Don't look in here. >> I'm not too curly. 22 21 to 22. >> Hey, MHA. >> What? >> Hey, how you doing? >> I'm fine. What? >> We're with Hyper Metropolitan Housing. >> What? Don't step in my apartment. >> We have an order to grab the baby. >> Get the off me. No. Uhuh. No. Get off of me. GET THE OFF. STOP. >> GET OFF MY COW. I'm not touching my >> Stop. Does anyone else help? >> Get away from me. >> Come on. Let's go. >> GIVE ME MY TOWEL. YOU'RE GOING TO GO. >> NO, I'm not. There you are. Can you stop twisting my rig? Okay. All right. We're going this way. >> Listen, this can all be over with after you take care of what you got to take care of. >> WHAT IS THAT? >> FOR WHAT? >> You can get your baby, okay? Just deal with what's going on. You're going to get more charges if you can. >> I don't even have charges. >> You're going to get one. So, I suggest that you just calm down. Soon as I do you have so what is the reason? So you're going to be under arrest if you don't So what is the reason? Mhm. bring me my son. >> Can y'all bring me my son? There ain't no way ama quad for y'all to come here and do this. >> Keep flipping those. Most likely the same thing we hide evidence. >> Bring me my son. >> She'll talk to you in a minute >> about what? >> Whatever's going on. We're just >> Nothing going on. It's okay. That's okay. >> Give me mying son. >> We're going to Yeah. You have anything on you? >> Stop touching me. You already know I ain't got [ __ ] on me. Stop spread your feet to me. Spread your feet. >> Get the YOU SAID I AIN'T GOT [ __ ] ON ME. >> ALL RIGHT. >> REALLY? >> SHE'S going to come talk to you. >> She better GET IN MY TOWN. We're going to work on that. Okay. >> Hello. >> Yeah, they all lost their jobs. >> She better not go nowhere with my son. >> The mother felt deep despair as this was the third child being temporarily placed in protective care. Where did she take my child? >> What's that? >> Where did she take my child? >> To CSB. I've got all the information here for you. All right. >> What do you mean information from me? So now I got to fight to get my child back for noing reason. So this the third one y'all took from me for no reason. >> Even after guidance and assistance, the mother remained very emotional at the station, requesting that only female staff participate in the process. You said it electronically, right? >> Yep. >> Okay. What's this? That's the CSB stuff. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. I tried talking to her. She didn't say anything. So, someone, >> what's going on, Sharon? What's going on, dear? You going to cooperate with the deputies when you come in here? All right. Well, you don't have to say anything, but we'll just try to make this I know it's a I know you're having a bad day. Let's just try to make make it easy. Okay. Over here, Jeff. They're right here in the window. Okay. You got to face them. Okay. He's going to ask you some questions and stuff. >> What size shoes you wear? >> Okay. Just a big one. Okay. Anything on you is going to poke me, stab me, hurt me? No. Right. Take a step back for me. And then spread your feet for me just a little bit. Spread your feet. There we go. Is it She has just the robe on. >> I Yep. >> Do you have just this on? Nothing underneath? Yes. Nothing underneath or just the robe? Listen, we we can do this one of two ways. I would prefer not to have to like be mean or anything like that to you. I just need to make sure we are good. Is this holding your dress together? No, no, >> you're not about to show that everybody. >> That's why I asked you if it's holding together and you were a cop. >> How do I know this? >> We don't know what you have on underneath that. >> So, why don't you use your eyes? >> Okay, we're going to go this way. We're not playing this game today. >> Kneel down. Kneel. Kneel down. Kneel down. >> We're going to ask nicely or we're going to put you down. Lay down. Lay down. Lay down. Lay down. >> You're showing my >> lay down. That's it. >> You're showing my class right now. >> No, it's not. Tell me to walk out the room. >> Just listen. >> Walk out the room. Use your eyes. You can't be a cop and I have four senses. >> Well, if you were being cooperative. >> No. You actually know how to use your items. Damn job. >> If she got felony charges, >> I don't >> I didn't charges. >> Charges. >> Everything's recorded. >> Exactly. He can show. There should only be women in the room. There should only be women in the room. But you're not going to show anybody. TELL THE DUDES. >> I will once you calm down. >> You cooperate. We will leave. >> Stop yelling. There should only be females in the room. >> Can I have a uniform, please? Like large. >> There should only be women in the room. >> No, that's not even if you act like everybody knows about women. >> This is not a debate. You will do what they tell you to or I will tase you. >> Just like that. Do what they tell you to. >> Stop. Stop. Are you going to do this the hard way? That's your problem. You get chased, you get changed. >> Close that. >> The mother was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, LEO. Under Ohio law, she could face 1 to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. No one questions the mother's love, but in a society governed by law, actions must follow legal [music] standards. Cooperation, staying calm, and seeking legal advice are the appropriate ways to protect one's rights rather than confrontation. >> Did mom tell you to tell us that that he grew the he climbed the fence? It's okay if she did. Nobody's in trouble. >> He did. >> Okay. >> Young children often express the truth without filter. In this case, this child's honest account helped reveal the situation his mother had not fully shared. On March 7th, 2024, authorities received a call about unusual marks observed on a child. It was initially believed these marks came from disciplinary actions at home. Officers quickly arrived to investigate and speak with the mother. >> Hey there. >> Hi. >> Are you Miss Venique? >> Madison. >> My name is Madison. I work at GCS. We got a report in some concerns about the baby. I need to talk to you guys because that part is anonymous. They're not able to share. Okay, you got a call from me. >> That part we can't share. >> Why? >> It's anonymous. The four guys have their own side of things and we just come out and see if we can make sure they're okay. Talk to me about whatever's going on. I have some papers for you. Is it okay if you come in and I just lay my eyes on the kids? >> Are you Vinnie? >> Yeah, I am. >> So, I have my card for you. I'm going to give you my card and I'm going to show you this paper that we have as well called the rights and responsibility. So, it goes over the DF process, what that looks like. >> I already know what it looks like. I had DC all called on me multiple times. >> Okay, awesome. So, you can have this paper. On the back is my name. It says Madison. And then my phone number. Then it has my supervisor's information as well. I have another paper for you. And this one is going to be for you to sign. Um, and it basically goes over arm safety. So, it talks about if you guys own a gun, we just ask that it's in a safe away from the kids where they can't get into it. Sleep safety for little ones, making sure they have their own cribs, no blankets, no pillows, anything in there. Water safety, making sure there's supervision around pools, ponds, lakes. also toilets. And then it asks, is anybody deaf or heart of hearing in the home? No. Okay. And are you guys part of any Native American tribe immunization or anything like that? Okay. So, I'm gonna sign this. You could sign it for me as well, just to show that I talked with you about it. Thank you. So, our concern, the report that had come in had concerns for the kids with so I need to take a look at them and make sure that they're okay. Have you seen them with injuries at all recently or know what that would be talking about? >> Probably know where the call came from. Like I explained to them, I have boys, you know, boys going to be boys. So with them climbing the fence over there and me telling them to get down, don't climb the fence that they want to climb the fence and you know how he fell and everything. So I told him about that. Other than that, no. >> Okay. So he has from falling off from climbing the fence. Where on his body is it >> on his leg in between or on the back of his something like that. >> Okay. Is it a scratch or like a >> No, it's cuz he actually fell off the fence without I mean the first time he did it, but the second time he climbed back up there them trying to follow other people the brothers and >> so all the kids were climbing on the thing. >> Yeah, it wasn't just mine, it was hers, too. They >> Oh, >> yeah. It's her fence. But yeah, they climb. >> Is it okay if I take a look at it to see it? Just cuz it says on the report that he has a mark on there. Can I come in? I have to make sure the little baby has a crib. If not, we can get you surgery and get good information. Back here. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> How are you? >> Put all these people here for me. >> Take his jeans off so you can see his leg. >> That little one's trying to climb the fence. >> Daredevil. >> Officers examined the child and gently asked about the incidents. Gradually, the child shared experiences of being disciplined at home. >> I'm going to take a picture of that. All right. Will you turn him around so I can see his other leg? Also, you got to see his belly and his back also. All right. Turn around. >> One more. She's like, "What?" >> Okay. How long ago did that happen? >> Probably like a day or so ago. >> So, it's Thursday. Like a day or two days ago. >> So, like Tuesday or Wednesday? >> Yeah. >> And then questions about you. I know you probably been asking a whole bunch. When you guys are all together as a family, what do you do to bond? >> Part game. >> And then when they're being bad or not listening, what do you do for discipline? >> In a coma. >> For how long? >> 30 minutes or so. >> And then what are some types of things that they get in trouble for? >> Not listening. being disobedient. >> And then who lives here with you? >> Me. The kid. >> I have Rake on the report, too. Does he live here? >> Yes. >> Does he live here? >> Was he there when he fell off the bus? >> Do you use any? >> No. >> Do you drink alcohol? >> No. Have you ever experienced domestic >> years ago? But it was back in 2016. >> I'll have to see all the other kids as well and take their picture. Oh, hi. >> Hi. >> Oh, you're ready now. You're sitting down ready to talk. Do you have any marks or brushes? >> Yeah. >> Oh, you do. Where at? >> Right there. >> Right there. >> Oh, what happened? >> Right there. >> Oh, you fell right there. That's not fun. You want to stand up so I can see your belly and your back, too? >> Yeah. >> Oh, thank you. [laughter] >> Thank you so much. When you're with mom, what's your favorite thing to do with mom for fun? >> For hearing, smelling. >> Hearing and smelling. >> Just practicing. >> Okay. Okay, you're all done. >> Yeah, I got one. >> Thank you. Do you have any anything? >> No, I don't think >> I remember one was there, right? >> Oh, one dot. What happened there? >> When I was at school, that was burning you off. Keep chilling. >> Your belly and your back, too. Good job. >> When you're at home and you're spending time with mom, what's your favorite thing to do with mom? >> Play with her. >> Play with her. Okay. When you're being bad or you're in trouble, what does mom do? >> She rips you. Where on your body? >> I don't know. >> I mean, everywhere. >> Everywhere. Does she use her hand or does she use other things? >> She used a belt. >> A belt. Do you know how many times? >> No. Okay. Do you see the the scratch on your brother's leg? >> Oh, you didn't see it? >> Oh, okay. Who takes care of you the most? >> Um, my mom. >> Your mom. And do you have chores? >> No. Okay. I'm all done with you. Thank you. My pass came too. >> Another adult in the household was also questioned but seemed unaware of the full situation until informed by authorities. >> How's it going? So, we had gotten in a report in with concerns for the kids cuz there were seen on them. I just wanted to hear from your point of view what you've seen, what you know about the on the little >> I ain't know nothing about it until uh >> what they say in the report about me going to pick him up outside. I did. He did say he fell. >> Oh, you think he fell at school? >> I'm not even sure. >> Oh, wow. >> She I asked her. Lady said she's not She don't know. He's been going to school all week. So, I asked her all of a sudden it just on his bed. >> Did you talk to mom about that? >> Yeah, I did. >> What she said? >> He said everything he said. >> What do you do for work? >> I would roll. >> How often are you here? >> Between 60 and 90 days. >> When you are home, do you get to spend a lot of time with the kids? >> Hell yeah. >> What do you guys do for fun today? >> Yeah, man. We ain't at a bar. They going to go see my family. Got a birthday party to go to Nest Clean after the mess and [ __ ] they going. >> Do you ever have to discipline them? >> I like to put my car. Need some time to think about it. Excuse my friends. I ain't really with y'all. Hey, I'm sorry. >> What about their mom? What have you seen her do for discipline? >> One or two. We call we talk about it. We talk everything out. In this household, we going to talk. You sit in the corner. You got a little time on your hand to sit there and chill. When I give you these snacks and the juice, you think you done learn from your situation? You able to go outside? And if they say no, do you want to go back in the corner or you just want to sit in the room and watch or you want to sit and watch your brothers play outside while you sit beside me? >> Are you the biological father of any of them? >> No. >> All right. You use any? >> No. I got to see. >> Oh, okay. How often do you drink alcohol >> when I'm off? >> And then I'll talk to mom again. So, your last case, I saw that they put services in place for counseling for you. Have you have they called you or have you gotten into that yet? >> Have they called you or you just haven't engaged in them? M. >> Are you still interested? >> Yeah. >> How do you feel like your mental health is doing? >> Okay. >> I was in therapy before. So, >> and will you show me on the fence where it was over the time? >> How high up did it get? >> I don't know. >> They was all pretty high to the top. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Who all was out here when they were >> Her little boy. I'm not sure if she was outside. I think her mom was also not really sure. You know, he was they play up in so right here. >> Okay. Like did you actually see him climb the fence? >> Yeah, they were they was all on the fence. >> Did you see him fall? Like did you personally or someone like just told you about it? >> No, they came back and told me that you fell after I told them to get down. >> Who told you? >> My oldest son and the kids. Like >> the 5-year-old. >> He was crying. So he came back. He was like, "Mommy, money fell off the fence. I told y'all to stay off the fence." >> Do you know if any adults did see like to your knowledge like when he fell? >> I can't say if they was outside or not. >> I got They play up in this area. Then they like to climb the fence with her son. And I'm just like, get down, fade down. But you know, boys is going to be boys. They don't listen. I have three of them. >> Yeah. You get your hands full. Okay. If we need anything else, we'll come knock real quick. But >> if not, have a good rest. Good night. All right. >> Thank you. >> When spoken to in a safe and supportive environment, the children were able to explain more clearly what had happened, providing a fuller picture than the mother's claim that discipline was mild and infrequent. Hi. How are you? >> Good. Mom, is it okay if we take him to the side real quick? >> For what? >> To talk to him. >> Oh, why y'all can't talk to him? >> You want me to talk to him? You remember a couple days ago when you guys were playing outside? >> Yeah. What happened? What was going on? >> Yeah. >> Who did? >> Do you want to show me? >> Show it. >> You can show me right here. >> Come walk me over. I don't know where you guys are playing. We were playing right here. Right here. >> What were you guys playing with? >> And he fell off the fence. >> Who fell off the fence? >> I don't know who fell off the fence. >> When you guys were all playing, do you remember who all was playing out here with you? >> My brothers and my friends. >> Was there grown-ups out here? >> My friend grandma. >> Your friend's grandma. >> And where on the fence were you guys playing? >> Right there. What were you guys doing on the fence? I was trying to get my friends to not get on it because my baby goes. >> You trying to get your friends to not get on it? >> No. My bad. >> Your brothers to not get on it? >> Mhm. >> And which one of your brothers was on there? >> It was Mommy. Is it money? >> Did you see it with your eyes? How do you know? >> Because how high up did he get? You want to touch it? You can show me. >> Your little brother was right all the way up there. >> Yeah. By himself or with help? >> No, >> he grew out of the roof. >> He didn't have help. >> He did that by himself? >> No. >> Did mom tell you to tell us that that he grew the he climbed the fence? It's okay if she did. Nobody's in trouble. >> She did. >> Okay. Well, thank you for being honest with us. I appreciate it. You know, honesty is always the best policy, right? Can I get a high five? >> Awesome. >> When you use the belt, do you use all the kids or just the oldest one? >> Yeah, most >> everybody. All right. How many times? What you mean? How many times? >> If they're getting the weapon, how many times you >> I don't know. Probably like two or three times. Don't really count it. >> So, with a 2-year-old, what kind of things does he do wrong that he gets for? >> Being disobedient. Like basically like if I tell him do something, don't jump at me. Stuff like that. >> Okay. Gotcha. Gotcha. That belt, what was that belt about? >> She asked me to show her the belt that that when if I hit him with the belt, show her the belt that I used. >> Is that the belt that you used when the little 2-year-old like those? >> No. >> What belt was that? No, the that he got is from the fence. She asked me what belt do I use if I like >> Okay, I see. Do you mind if I see it? I'm sorry. I I know. I walked away and that was my bad. Do you mind? I'm sorry. Okay. Is it like It's always this one. Like this is like the designated one that we go to. >> It's only one bill. I only got one belt. >> I got you. I got you. Who gets >> Everybody [laughter] does if they get a >> like all the way down to the to the baby. >> What? To the 2year-old? >> The the baby you were holding in your arms? >> No. >> So, she doesn't get it. >> No. >> Okay. We got a 5-year-old, a two-year-old, >> and a three-y old. >> And a three-y old. Does the three-year-old get it, too? >> So, the two-year-old when he gets it, when he's disobedient. That's correct. >> Yeah. When he to throwing a tantrum and stuff like that. >> Throwing a tantrum, screaming, crying. >> Yeah. Ever so often. >> Like when he doesn't get what he wants kind of thing. >> Sort of. Yeah. >> Okay. Gotcha. >> Like I told her, I had to use the belt about two to three weeks. And the last people that got her belt was my oldest and the three-year-old for acting up the school. >> Okay. Gotcha. When was the last time the 2-year-old two to three weeks ago? No, the last time was my oldest and the three. >> So, when was the last time the the 2-year-old? >> It's been a minute. He been good. >> Okay. So, >> and where on their body? Like, is it same across the board? Everybody gets on the same part of their body or kind of like on their >> Okay, gotcha. Does it generally leave marks? >> No. >> And what part of the belt are we using? >> I hold this in like this >> and they get hit with this. >> Like this. >> After reviewing evidence [music] and statements, the mother was held responsible according to the law. >> Okay. Gotcha. Who is this that's in here? the other um adult that's sitting here. >> My auntie. >> Your auntie? Okay, got you. She live here. No. All right. No. >> Then take a step out. >> Why >> don't walk away from No. Don't tense up. No tense up. No. Get off me. Get off me. What are you wrecking me for? You got to tell me when I'm wrestling. You got to tell me. You're going to Okay. But do not test. No. No. You're going to go to the ground. Don't go to the ground. No. Don't do this. You got to tell me what you arresting me for. It does not help. >> Yes, it does. You got to tell me what you arrested me for. >> We're going to talk about it, but you need to not resist. >> I'm not resisting. >> All right. >> You do not have to hold me like that. >> Yes, I do. >> No, you don't. >> You have made it very clear that I do. >> No, you don't. You do not have to hold me like that. I'm still walking. What you arresting me for? >> How is that child? I haven't did anything to my son. >> Come and stand at the back of this car. >> I haven't did anything. I haven't did anything to my son. So, how I'm getting arrested for child when he fell off the fence? I have a win. How old's your son? >> Her son is five, just like the other one. >> Like seriously, why would I hurt my kids? >> Go ahead and have a seat. Do not resist. >> When I get bailed in the car, can I bail out now? >> Bro, why would I hurt my kids? How I'm going to jail? >> Y'all not even listening. That's not fair. >> Get in the car. >> That's not even fair. >> Inside the vehicle. You are going to get another charge when y'all not even put your feet in the car. >> Put your feet in the car. >> Not even giving you a lawful order. >> I don't need you. DON'T DON'T DO THAT. >> Y'ALL NOT even listening. Let me go. Y'all not even listen. I don't want this. >> The children were placed with relatives who could provide a safer and more supportive environment. >> Hey there. >> You're good. You're good. You're good. >> Okay. >> What's your relation to the family? >> That's my niece. >> That's your niece. Okay. Obviously, she's being arrested. What we are trying to do is figure out what's happening with the children. Do you happen to have an ID on you? Oh, >> no. I actually don't. >> Not a huge deal. Are you willing to to watch after the kids if that's something that we can orchestrate? Yeah, I watch them. >> Cool. We just >> Oh, I can I can call her mama and stuff to come get the kids. >> Talk to her and she's going to be the one that decides what what goes on with the children. >> Your auntie is on the way. >> I just >> If you could call her. >> Police want to talk to you real quick. >> Okay. >> Right here. >> You're on your way over, right? >> Yes, I'm on my way. I'm on my way to go to you guys right now. >> Perfect. We'll see you when you get here. She's okay. She's more than okay. Is the kids okay? >> They're inside. I haven't even seen them in the past appointment. They're in their rooms. They are more than good. Okay, >> go inside. I'll meet you guys inside and everything. Okay. >> The mother was charged with child abuse [music] and resisting an officer. Under Florida law, she could face up to 6 years in prison. While discipline is important for teaching children selfdiscipline and responsibility, it must always be done safely. Parents and caregivers should ensure that methods used never cause physical or emotional effect. And now, two more kids have just been added to the long haunting list of andused victims. Driven by his eternal love for dogs, Willie had no idea he had created a reality oasis that any horror movie would be defeated by. >> Why you got to keep the dog for us? >> Well, you want the dog with all your problems? >> What problem? The dog over here with us. Our dog is like family us now. >> On February 9th, 2024, an anonymous call reporting severe child rang out like a warning bell about the hell hidden behind the doors of a home in Aluras, Florida. Without hesitation, police rushed to the scene and launched a full-scale investigation. Everyone in the house was questioned. No one was left out, not even the dog. I'm coming here trying to let them know that y'all can't stay here because number one, I guess his sister gave him the okay to stay here. They got put out of the project or whatever. They got I have my own situation, my own little >> Hey, can you let her talk so she can finish real quick? >> I have my own little thing going on. Homework, school, and my kid is going to need you. So reason why I haven't been over there to get them out because I haven't had dinner. But my boys coming like tomorrow from the Nik. So yesterday I when I got over here, if you guys remember me pulling up, it was initially telling him he had to go because number one, y'all got all this stuff back there. This is where y'all, you know, storing stuff and then the city is contacting him and my brother's locked up from that. >> How long has Willie been saying? >> So they've been here since I want to say November. They haven't paid anything. There's nothing wrong. his sister gave him the okay to stay here. >> His sister Liam. >> So why did why does she have permission to do so? >> That's why that's why >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah. So that's what's going on. >> Okay. So >> I don't So what happened? So what happened with the dog? >> I had the dog for the dog. >> I had the dog. >> So you walked over here to get the dog >> yesterday. So I brought the dog home and then Take them over. I want my dog. I got it on video. He said I got paperwork. No, you don't have paperwork on dog. You're nothing but a squatter. I got >> You're nothing but a squatter. Pick up a pipe to come after me. >> Yes, I do. >> Can you just talk to one? That'd be great. >> You're from Daytona, right? I am. >> Oh, I met you at the one. >> So, what's the problem? You want them out of your house? >> Yeah. Camera's on. You got me. I almost said it, girl. I had your back. What's the problem? Why are they here? Make them leave. What do you want me to do? >> Oh, I already told them they had to go. >> Yeah, they still here. I still see them. >> Yeah, I already told them. And but what happened? See, I'm not physical and I have a lot going on. So, he >> Who owns the house? >> Me and my brother. >> Yeah, they still here. >> That's what I'm saying. >> Did they get mail? >> No, they should be getting m That's why I'm like >> I'll make him leave right now. >> Yeah, I already told you. Who's that? That's >> Willie, which is brother. >> The other kid. >> I guess it's his girlfriend. See, I >> this white kid right here. Who is that? >> His girlfriend's son. >> Willy's girlfriend's son, >> I guess. >> So, you own a house? >> Yeah. >> Perfect. Let's do a walk through. They stepped into a dark world where dog feces, urine, rotting floorboards and cold-hearted cry had become the roof over the heads of two innocent children. Tiny souls being suffocated day [music] by day, living aimlessly like shadows, waiting for the day to be freed. And then the paradox slowly revealed itself. The children didn't even have clean water to [music] wash their faces while the dog lived like royalty with ownership papers, freedom to roam, and even warm affection. [music] Turns out in that house being human was a disadvantage. >> The dog. Okay. You good people cuz I know you used to be over here and like that. Okay. That dog right there. You see him? I got the papers for that dog. It's like and he still got it. >> Like you kind of said you guys let the dog go back and forth, right? >> But I told him getting the dog back. I got the dog back and he still got the dog again. So if I got the dog, if I'm the co-owner of that dog right now, why he doing with the dog again? >> Do you want him to keep the dog? Because listen, >> I don't want that man right there. He came on my yard, talk trash to me, ma'am, and disrespect me in front of them kids. >> Well, can I ask you this? When we get your money financially situated, can we on camera work something out civily while he keeps the dog until we fix this problem? Because if you have papers for the dog, I'll get it back. Willie, this is a problem. She's going to go through DCF. There's no water. She's going to end up >> Water just got turned off. >> Yeah. She's going to end up losing kids. Honey, I need to try to not make that happen. I know that, man. >> And I don't want you catching a child charge because of it. She's been warned. I feel like she's bringing you in all the mess, but the children say you're the fiance. >> Yes, ma'am. But at the same time, man, I've been doing so much to try, man. >> You are doing a good job. >> So, let's fix the dog right now and let's just let him keep this dog. >> Why you got to keep the dog for us? >> Well, you want the dog with all your problems? >> What problem? The dog over here with us. That dog is like family with us now. Come on now. >> Okay. Hey, if you're able to financially take care of it, >> we could. >> Okay. Where where's the papers for the dog? Do you have the >> I get a check from the government. Huh? >> Watch the bee. Honey, do you um do you have papers that show the dog's yours? >> It's not showing of mine. No, I got the papers. I got the papers of the dog. >> If you have no papers showing that it's not yours, and if we can't come to an agreement, we'll take the dog. But I need a bigger picture. Will, you got to save this house. >> I'm trying to save it right now. But I'm doing this by myself. >> I see that, honey. It's hard on me. >> She's going to end up making you catch a charge with these kids. That's why I came over. I mean, I'm not >> That's why I'm doing everything. >> Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I'm pro woman. This is bad, Willie. That is bad. This dog is the least of the problems. You need to let somebody take care of this dog till you can get on your feet. >> Hey, it's like this. >> Alex, I'm going to need you to go do a walk through of the house. I'll be right back, Willie. Hang out here. >> You can bear with me. I'm dealing with bigger stuff right now. The dog and any other possible things that came into play are the least of it. It's the children and these living conditions. So, bear with me. >> Thank you. Thank you. Can I I'm going to ask one question and okay I'm going to need you to lower your voice because you're going to incite Lily and if I have to fight him and get because of your mouth we're going to have problem the kids come home for an hour. >> I got it on >> you're a smart woman. >> In fact DCF had previously issued warnings about child in this home [music] but those warnings weren't enough to shake off the deeply rooted irresponsibility. This time though, they refused to turn a blind eye. If these people couldn't even manage rent or pay a utility bill, how could they possibly nurture a decent future for their children? >> Uh, sir, she's calling. I need name and data birds of all the children. >> No. 1098. Might I speak to you, please? I'm going to take care of this on the DCF issue cuz I I really like Willie. I want to do all I can to help him. And I'm saying that cuz I really don't feel like fighting cuz I will. His size means nothing to me. I'll end up on the tree. It don't bother me. I will. I'm not putting up with it. I'm not. I got a lot going on at home. So, I need to take care of this. I'm going to call DCF. Don't do a walk through anymore only because he has an expectation of privacy as a renter. She's telling me she gets mail. I need that mail to be provided with me. This dog is the least of my worries. I'm calling DCF and I'm going to start a report. I just don't want them to know cuz she's going to flip out and I don't want the kids to flip out. So, just bear with me. Thank you. >> If DCF comes in and the mother, okay? If you guys are dating and you guys are together, Okay, >> I appreciate I just thought maybe you'd be more helpful, but I didn't explain it right. Thank you. >> I will take care of him. I promise. It's hurt and all the stuff I need to do right now. This dog and you and this neighbor, I'm not saying I don't care about it. It's back burner for me because there's a pending case. I'm going to call them right away. Okay. I just know about the living conditions of the house cuz there's no water. So, this has nothing to do with you. >> I got to say one thing. She going to give us She said, "Thank you, but how can we pay to get the water on this?" She going to give us an lease. >> That's what I want you to stay and tell DCF. And you tried to pay. >> That's what I want. Just don't talk to her anymore. And let me let the lady let you hear that. >> I got that on my camera. Now I need it on a statement. >> The dog was still the topic while officers had to wrestle their way through the stench, the screaming, [music] and a flood of pathetic excuses, doing their best to stay sane like someone working a garbage route. And then [music] right in the middle of that chaos, a chilling truth came to light. One of the children had a broken neck. And that was the moment they knew. They couldn't wait another minute. >> Hey, be quiet. >> I'll deal with it in a second. >> So, do you care for this dog? >> Oh, for the last year and a half, I have. >> Oh, all the time. >> And here's where we have a problem. If she's got papers that says the brother's the owner, >> he knows I have the dog. He's gonna have a three-way call. Larry, and by the way, >> and when he was in Flagler, I was going to see him twice a week by phone or over there. >> Okay. Well, your gestures don't go unnoticed. All I care about is who owns it on paper. But her brother, >> her brother, her said he had paperwork. >> You're making my scene worse. I got it. I got paper with me. >> Maybe I might give them to her. >> She said, I'm excited. Thank you. >> I'm past the dog. I just want the dog out of my scene is what I'm saying. >> Thank you. Before I change my mind, >> I don't want to leave her or the children unattended in the cleaning. So that's what I need. Constant surveillance. What's going on? Like I say, when my brother Go ahead then with her. When my brother got in concert or whatever, I stayed in Palm Cole. I had a baby in October. I had two kids. So I've been staying your whole story. Yeah. >> Do they have a note? A lease? >> No, they don't have a lease. >> They've been here two months. >> They've been here. He just told me cuz I come in when he was doing all this arguing and molding up in the neighbor's face. He was like, "Yeah, I've been here since November." And I'm like, "November?" The sister Michael, my brother's girlfriend is his sister. She's the one gave her brother the okay, but his girlfriend. >> So, they're squatters. Squatters. Okay. >> Squatters I could have addressed two months ago. Now, I can't. She says there's an electric bill in her hand. >> Listen, I'm You don't see me. Oh my god. No. >> Do you want the dog or you want him to have it? >> I told him he can have it cuz right now >> keep the dog in the house. He's not getting it back. I'll be right back. >> We need to do a hotline on this though. >> She's going to call me back and let me know if I need to do that or if she has taken my report on my behalf. >> The reason we did that, Jeeoff, is because DCF was out with her before with their last case and they told her if she has one more encounter, all the kids are being immediately pulled. So that's why we call. >> She has pending pending cases. What we need to do here is we need a detailed report of what you're seeing and then um I mean there's a show where it's you charge with me. >> Absolutely. When you walk through you'll see it. What I don't want to do is charge Willie for it. But once DCF comes here they might want it because they're living as a family and he's allowing all of this to go on. >> Are you DC arrest or you >> Yes. Times two. I'd rather just do one because mom was told from DCF get it together. >> Mom's biological mom or the mother. Willy's he he's only the living boyfriend, right? >> That's what I'm trying to accomplish with him. He's just the boyfriend. So, it's not child, but he's been here the whole time and knows these kids have no food or no water. >> My thing is he's cleaning ownership as them as these are my daughter. This is my dad. >> They call him dad. >> Yeah, they call him dad. >> I love the CPT involved, but they need children. >> PCF's on their way. They're >> I don't know. I think PCF best can do that. I'd rather have them probably. >> That's why I called you. I had in my head already with everything I have. It's enough for a PC on view for mom, the children, all three to be placed. But the little girl came outside and goes, "I saw you talking to him. Here's my papers. My neck's broken." And it's from that individual right there. >> Oh, the back didn't go. >> Yeah. Your neck's clear. She's broken. >> We clearly saw that. You know, I think, you know, I showed her the I think it was an intentional act where they tried to to make it look like she was hit so they can't shrink. >> I just want to share my day with you and have you do this walk through because all followup gets done by you. So, it's just easier if you're here. In the end, [snorts] DCF couldn't escape suspicion for their delay, [music] allowing children to survive in filth beyond imagination. But justice didn't sleep. The mother and Willie were arrested for [music] child and jailed at the Poke County Jail in full accordance with the Spirit of Florida section 827.03. That said, bond information remains a mystery as they await the next steps in the legal process. >> Yeah, I think it's my murder. I don't die. Not quite sure what's going on, if you're facing charges or what's going to happen. But I'm going to be as polite as I possibly can. I gave you the cigarette. I'll let you sit in here and finish smoking the cigarette. And then we'll decide what we do from DCF after that. And then we'll probably put Willie in the back to decide, but we're not sure. But unless you're under 18, you get cuffed when you go back in the car. So, we haven't decided yet. No, I'll take care of that. And we watched the video. It does not show him hit the child. We saw the tape. I don't know. Did she tell you or did you see it? Well, I was saying like I wasn't over here on this side cuz I couldn't see you over here. But give me this. >> Also, before you finish that or before you get my little >> Just put it down right there and I'll pick it up while you're still cuffed in a few minutes. Don't put it out. I'll give it to you. Turn around. I'm going to give you realies. Okay. >> Go ahead and get in. And I'm going to leave that right there so this way I can give you another drag of it when I put some gloves on. Sorry. >> I know, but I'll let you have it when we decide what we're doing. She's sitting in here. >> Okay. >> I want you to sit with her. You have to be cuffed when you get in the car. >> I didn't want to get cuffed. >> You're not going to jail. Get over there. >> I don't want to get cuffed, though. >> Well, that's just how it's going to be because I'm going to let you sit with her and I'm going to give her a cigarette and I'm going to try and um >> as of right now, you are not under arrest. I promise you. VCF makes that decision, not me. >> Who's under arrest? >> You, her, anybody. They make that decision. Not me. This is yours. I'm not taking it. I'm just gonna put it on the car with your stuff in case DC has something otherwise. >> Hey, that's my cousin right there. >> Right. And that's what I'm trying to do, Willie, right now. >> I'm saying now I ain't get that wrong. >> I agree. Go ahead and get in. But what I mean is when I say I agree. I >> don't want to talk to you. >> Call my sister Renee. >> Go ahead and get in. I'm going to come back and talk to you. As of right now, I'm not even going to Miranda you cuz you're not under arrest. >> I'll talk to you in a minute. I'm just putting you in here while we finish this investigation. >> Jeff, can you please tell me what's going on here in the mill? DCF says there's no case. DCF said that Michelle called them directly and she never told Michelle not to do an emergency. >> We got to go through the hotline. Is that Did that would that go through? >> Yeah. Just she told Michelle not to do that, that she was coming here. So then when she got here, she talked to Michelle and told Michelle to do it on the web. So Michelle did it on the web. Now she's saying there's no reported case cuz the web takes for days. So now Michelle is reporting it on the web, but she doesn't know what to do with the children. She's talking to a supervisor. Do they not take children in? >> Sure they do. DCF statewide rules take the children is what I'm telling you. >> I don't know. But right now DCF is here. So DCS take sharing with you. She said no, they're not because Michelle didn't do a case. So I had Michelle always. That's why even if you have a contact lease, if you've got all >> a copy, she told her not to and told her to do it online. So Michelle did it online. She was doing what she was told. But my point, >> can we still get >> Oh, we're already on the phone now doing an emergency while I'm telling them the supervisor. But it shouldn't have to be this hard. I'm begging them to place the children. >> I understand. I I >> What is the norm here so I don't lose my profession? >> Well, I think the norm is always you call the hotline first. No matter who you know in DCF, make sure they have reports. >> So, is it 104 to take the two 10:15s go to the jail and she can wait with the kids? >> That's as far as I know. Yes. >> Okay. I just want to make sure these children are going to be cared for. >> Okay. Hey, I got some cheeseburgers for the kids and they're going to get some drinks and stuff. So, I'll grab a few nuggets and give them to you. Okay. Are you allergic to nuggets? >> I'm going to let you talk to them. This is just temper. I told mom that they got to fix this with mom and when mom gets out, everything's going to be okay. >> You've never been? >> Okay. But might be able to get you in a program when you get released. They'll give you a maybe a facility, but you got to talk to your kid. Their mouth is going to it's making your job a lot. >> It's a lot that >> this couple deliberately planted an unerraasable scar in their child's memory. They didn't just rob them of a childhood. They paved the way for deep psychological burdens. Especially today when even a small emotional wound can child into the dark pit of depression in a cold techdriven world. Watching the woman aggressively attack her boyfriend, you'd never imagine how smoothly she could switch into the role of the victim. >> Yeah, because >> on September 1st, 2024, Georgia police were suddenly hit by an emotional whirlwind unleashed by an extremely toxic woman. They received a call accusing her of assaulting her boyfriend, but the moment they arrived on scene, everything flipped. She immediately slipped into the role of the victim, crying, sobbing, and painting herself as [music] used one. It wasn't until the man, Russell, showed up that the truth finally came to light. >> Hi. >> Yes, ma'am. >> He's not going to put his hands on me like that and me and me on the ground so you can take him away from my house. Now, >> start from scratch. >> He wakes up every day and talks about how bad my kid is, and I'm sick of it. His kids are little brats, and they're bad, too. And I'm tired of it. I held my tongue long enough. So this morning when he started, I said, "I'm sick of you waking up every day and talking about how bad my kid is." I said, "You can get your [ __ ] and leave." So I went inside. I sat on the couch. I called his mom. You can call his mom and verify this. I said, "You need to come get your son because I'm tired of him waking up every day and talking about how bad my kid is." He come over there, gets in my face. Your kid's a littleing punk. All he does is this and that. Proceeds to get on top of me by my throat. Picks me up. Me to the ground by my throat. I'ming him, grabbing him cuz he's got me by a throat where I can't breathe. picks up my phone, throws it across the room. His mom's on the phone the whole time, so you can verify. Then he's still yelling and screaming, "My kids's outside. His two kids are inside." While he's steadily attacking me, my kids outside in the garage. And I said, "You need to leave." He said, "The cops already been here one time because of this. Who you think is a problem?" I said, "No, the problem is I stand up to you men that put your hands on me. That's the problem." >> Okay. Who is he to you? >> He's my boyfriend, but not anymore. So, he's not on this lease, so you can take him and leave or he can get his stuff and leave. I think that's the second time y'all been here like we're not going to do that. >> My kids are inside. >> Yeah, because touch her. >> Yes, you did. You're a liar. >> And you're mad because I stand. >> Stop. >> This is the second time y'all been here. >> So, what I mean, >> she's crazy. >> Well, what took place today? >> Nothing. She's crazy, dude. I'm telling you. >> Well, something took place today. >> She mad about something that got said yesterday. Kid's bad. He's disrespectful of my kids. I said something to him. She's got mad. She starts me, scratching me, hit me with the [ __ ] iPad. It's broken there. She was on the ground. I told her to chill the out. Stop. She said, "I'm calling the cops and stuff calling." Second time in a month y'all been here for the same thing. Two different people. Y'all ain't got to worry about nothing. I'm packing my [ __ ] I'll be out of here today. I pay the bills here. She makes $500 a week. She can't afford. I pay this here. Her name is on the lease cuz she was on the lease with her ex-boyfriend. Y'all were here maybe a month ago about the same thing. They were fighting, fist fighting, this that and the other. Everybody told me she was crazy. I said whatever. She's cool. this same thing y'all were here for. So, I moved in. My little girl's birthday party was yesterday. And uh she comes in there. He's mean and bad mean to my kids. He's just a little to him. Anyway, that's that's what started it all. So, she comes in there. First thing she did, she calls my mom. Don't bring my mom in it. And then she comes in there. I'm getting in the shower. She comes in there antagonizing me and I tell her, "Leave me the alone. What's wrong with my kid? What's wrong?" I said, "He's mean to my kids." Blah blah blah. Going back and forth about him. She throws the iPad at me. Hit me. Starts scratching me. Scratches on my neck somewhere. She scratches my neck and I put her on the ground. I said, "Stop and leave me the alone." By then, my kids came in there. I'm not doing that for my kids. That's a no no. So, I had to go cuz she's following me through the house. I had to go get my two kids, lock them in her bedroom so they didn't witness none of this. I mean, I I know y'all can look it up. Y'all were I don't know if you came. One of y'all came here maybe a month ago, month and a half ago about the same thing, but a different guy. >> Grab your grab your license for me. In her eager attempt to throw an innocent man in jail, she enthusiastically began instructing the police on how to investigate, conveniently forgetting one small detail. All the evidence seemed [music] to be pointing right back at her. >> And Swammy broke my iPad. Go look in her bedroom. He probably picked it up by now. Took my phone across the room. Look at my phone. Call his mom and ask his mom. She was on the phone. She was on the phone when he attacked me. Picked up my phone. Threw it across the room. Broke my son's iPad. It's probably still on the floor. He can play victim all he wants. That's fine. Play victim. Get your and get out in the house. >> Okay. Where's the marks on you? >> He grabbed me right here by my throat and me. I defended myself by scratching him because I couldn't breathe. You want to take me? Take me. I don't care. At the end of the day, he's a liar. God knows. I know. And that's all that matters. Call his mom and ask his mom. Go ask his kids. Go ask his kids. I was sitting on the couch. He come over there and me. Go ask his two kids. >> They all saw him. >> His two kids did. My kid was in the garage. Go ask his kids what happened. Call his mom and ask her what happened. >> Tell me. Stop telling me how to do my job. Okay. We I've dealt with this with you before and you won't let me talk when I try to try to figure the mess out. You want to try to just run everything. It's not going to happen. >> Because the point is when I've had enough until you got to let me do my job. Like I said, this happened the last time. You kept telling me you're going to do this, you're going to do that, you're going to do this, you're going to do that. No, that's not how this works. >> I didn't say I'm going to do this and do that. >> Yes. The last time I was the last time I was out here, you're telling me how to do my job >> now with the way you acted. right there. You look like the aggressor >> because when I've had enough, I've had enough. >> But if we're here and I say, "Don't start." And then you go after him, doesn't look good, right? >> Nope. But when I've had enough, I've had enough. >> Amid the fog of swirling emotions, nothing stings more than hearing a seven-year-old calmly say. They were fighting [music] in the living room. A simple sentence, yet it echoes with heartbreak. Because kids don't lie like adults do. [music] They only know how to tell the truth. And the truth is, their mother is a terrible person. >> Where's your How old are your young? Uh, Daddy Kate just turned seven, Parker's four. >> Can I talk to your seven-year-old? Of course. Can I talk to you, sweetheart? >> Come on, baby. Hey, sweetheart. Did you have a birthday yesterday? Happy birthday. >> Thank you. >> You know what my birthday was? >> When? >> The day before yesterday on the 30th. But I'm a lot older than you. Did you see what happened this morning? >> Not really. >> Well, what did you see? >> All I really saw was them fighting. >> What? What? What do you mean fighting? >> Well, they were just fighting in the living room. >> Like what? Were they yelling or were they Well, who was yelling at who? Well, they were both yelling at each other. >> Okay. Where was your daddy at? Was he sitting down or was he standing up? >> I would say standing up. >> And where was she? Where was the other lady? >> Sitting down. >> Sitting down. >> Okay. Did you see anybody put their hands on anybody? >> They both put their hands >> Who put their hands on who first? >> I don't. >> You don't know? >> Don't know. >> How did they put their hands on them? >> I don't really know. >> You don't know? Like I'm going you'll grab you? >> Don't really know. >> Don't really know. Okay. Thank you, baby. I appreciate it. What did you get for your birthday? >> A lot of stuff. >> A lot of stuff. You know what I got? >> What? >> Nothing. That's what happens when you get old. >> Cuz she has no marks on her. >> Yeah. All I did was grab her by her shoulders. She was already down and just told her to chill the out cuz by then I looked and I seen all them in my periphery. >> I've never had a confrontation with a woman, much less nothing like that. And it's especially not going to happen in front of these babies cuz this one is hers. He's already been put through the ring. You know what I'm saying? But y'all don't have to worry about this cuz my brother Yeah. My brother's on his way getting home and I'm out of here. >> I locked her out. >> Who's the closest that could come watch the little one her son? >> Probably her dad. That's who she wants to call all the time. I mean, she would more than likely leave him with the neighbor. They're very close. Amanda >> family. He stays with his papa a lot. >> Does he? >> Yeah. All the time. >> And nothing's happened with that recently. Him causing issues. >> Papa. >> Yeah. >> Well, what happens is that's where it all starts. He goes with his papa and her brother lives there and he just does whatever he wants to do. So when he comes back here, he's >> But you're living here in that's your new address right now. >> Yeah. But >> what's a fun? >> I'm going back here. >> This is the address where he goes to his papa's house and does whatever the hell he wants. He has no >> So then we He has um they call it stage one autism. Goes asberers. >> That's what he has. >> I think they stopped using that term. >> Yeah, they did. >> But you looking at him talking to him, you never tell. It took me like a week and a half, two weeks to see any sign of it. >> It's just like I mean >> very malt. He's he's smart. He talks. It's just when he gets told me he has temples. He had to yell real loud. He does that. But that's what happens. It goes over there and it comes back and huh. >> Yeah. Dude, y'all seen it out there. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> She hit me in the side of the head. I guarantee I got a That's why the iPad's in a million pieces. She hit me with the iPad. >> Oh, that's why I forgot that. >> Hey, sweetie. Can I ask you a question? Another question? Yep. >> How'd the iPad get broken? You know? [clears throat] >> No. >> Never saw that. >> You never saw that? Nobody threw it or anything? >> Yeah. >> The red one? >> Yeah, I guess. >> Mm-m. >> You didn't see anybody throw it or anything? >> No. >> What about your little brother? >> No. >> No. >> And just like always, Russell's mother, acting as a witness over the phone, showed up like a familiar rescue hotline. But unfortunately, this time her statement tore a hole right through the victim boat that the future daughter-in-law was desperately trying to row as the truth slowly came to light. No matter how stellar her acting was, she couldn't escape the net cast by the heavens of justice. >> Her name's Barbara. >> Barbara, she was she on the phone when all this was going on? >> No, she called her earlier and I told her, "Don't call my mom." >> Mhm. >> She just hung the phone up. >> Okay. She's Okay. She's saying that she was on the phone and all that. >> She was on the phone earlier. >> Okay. cuz we were in here talking and then I went back there. I had a shower running when she was on the phone. I was getting in the shower there. I was going to go to my mom's house just because and that's when she come back there [ __ ] with me and that's where it all happened back there. >> Okay. She put her hands on me a couple times before that this morning in the laundry room like she's some grown man. She grabbed her arm and went to my neck and ped me up against the door. What are you doing? Chill. I never seen the side of her but we have a bunch of mutual friends and all and everybody's like dude crazy. The lady here said that you were on the phone during the whole time that I had to call you and she you would corroborate that she was attacked by your son. >> No, that's not true, officer. Now, she did call me with him that they were arguing. He came in the room while I had her on the phone and they started yelling at each other. Then he got disconnected and I tried calling Russell and I said, "Russell, put the kids in the vehicle and move." Of course, they were arguing, arguing and arguing. I said, "You have to not do this in front of your children. You're in your truck and me with children." He said, "You should see the scratches on." And and he said, "She's crazy." But he told me she was crazy. I said, "Okay, Russell." And then we got disconnected again and my other son is on his way up there right now. I was trying to tell Russell just get in his truck. And it's so they were screaming and yelling at each other, but she did not say that he her or put his hands on her. He did not she did not say that. Now I'm one of those. She did. I can tell you because my son knows not to touch a woman. And she did not say that her. She just said, "Come with him. He's talking ugly about my children." And then he came in the room and they started arguing again and nobody. >> Okay. I just finished talking to your mama. Your mom pretty much corroborated what you were telling me. >> Is there any way that I can you can like make her leave? >> Oh, she's going to jail. She's going to jail for battery and and um the children cuz the fight happened in front of the children. >> Yeah, that's why I locked all of them in their room cuz I could not get her to stop in in hers cuz I already been through it with this actual dad. >> Well, I'm sure y >> she tried to over talk me the last time I was out here and it don't happen with me. I'm going to do my job. So, >> that's why you got the badge, buddy. But she just I don't want I don't want anything bad to happen to nobody. But >> babies with with the way Georgia is and family balance because it is family violence because you guys are residing together. >> Am I going to get trouble? >> No. But she has no >> Yeah. I I did not touch her. All I did was literally she was on the ground. She jumped on me, put on the ground. I'll never put my hands on them. I don't care what they do unless they hurt a child. So, and I grabbed her shoulders just like that. I said, "Chill the outcome." She was going crazy, dude. Well, she like I said, she says that if you around the throat, she don't have any marks. She has no marks. You have severe marks on your neck and then light marks me somewhere with the eyeball. But >> the um statutes on uh family violence is simple battery is maybe this. >> Mhm. >> And then we leave it we leave that up to the victim if they want to prosecute that. She drew [clears throat] blood. That that's battery. >> You have no say so in it. We have to act. She's going to be on jail. She ain't going to like it. Plus the way she acted out there. She come running in like a bull. She should >> What do you think that's going to get you when you're talking to the authority? You know what I'm saying? But I mean, you would think obviously I don't think her and that one were married, but her prior relationships was the same thing. You would think, you know, you learn from your mistakes and but yeah, her >> I'm going try to talk to this. I should have known. >> I'm going to try to talk to her about who she wants to go to. >> She'll probably say her dad. He goes there a lot. Yeah. I won't be able to get all my but I'll get my clothes. You How long you been here? >> A month and a half. you set up for residency, so you have a right to the house. >> Thank you, man. All right. Sorry, guys. >> And with uses as evidence, the children's [music] testimonies, and the absence of any injuries on her own body, the police decided to arrest the woman on charges of battery, [music] family violence, and to children in the third degree. A fitting end for the extremely toxic one, but a heartbreak for the children when even their birthdays could not bring a little more joy. >> I did what you said. I called the mama. She didn't corroborate anything you said. I talked to the children. They didn't corroborate anything you said. So this is He's got injuries. You don't. All right. So you're going to go to jail uh for battery family violence. All right. And see the children. >> Yeah. So turn around. Put your hands behind your back. You got somebody to come watch your son, your neighbor or somebody so your dad can come. >> He's not lead. He's not going to be in my house while I'm not here cuz my aunt's >> He's been here for a month. So he's established residency here. >> My dad's my Don't leave my kids with him. >> I'm not. That's why I'm trying to get That's why I'm trying to get you to call somebody. >> Um could your neighbor watch until your dad can come like last time? calling. >> I'm not going to play, but he better be at my mother house before I get home. You want to take me to jail? Take me to jail for 32. He's not home. >> Promise. Baby Jesus, >> that is the last they'll his kids will see him. >> Come get me from jail and come get Riker. >> Okay. Get from jail and come get >> Come get Riker right now. Call Amanda back. That's Titan, dude. >> Hold on. down there. >> Come send somebody to get me from jail and send Come get Riker from Amanda. Let me call Amanda. >> Is that Amanda that lives next door? >> Bullet County. >> Is that Amanda? >> I'm not going to Bullet County. >> Is that okay? All right. >> Is that Amanda that lives next door? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'll walk over there cuz I remember that you and the baby went over there that one time. He's got multiple. Actually, his head's starting to right here. I got >> saw on the side of it. >> Yeah. I got to get that picture. >> I would tell you to get all your stuff today and get out. I told her that you you would step her but she's already making it won't be good if he he's here when I get out of jail. She's not going to get out of jail because it's family. She's got to see a judge. So, >> hey, come here, pal. >> Come here. >> I would take the day to move all my stuff. >> Yeah, I'm going to go get a U-Haul. I'll move it. You're going to go over there with them for a little bit, okay? And play. >> Your grandpa's going to come. >> Okay. Papa's going to come get you in a little bit. You're going to go play with him for a little bit. All right. >> You guys can play while we get ready for Hudson's birthday. >> It's his birthday today. Okay. So, sorry you guys have to come after me for this, but >> it's part of the job, brother. >> Thank you, man. >> All right. And in the end, when all the emotions had settled, what remained was an arrest warrant, a child temporarily separated, and a house [music] that had fallen silent. Perhaps even long after everything passed, that woman would still have no idea that was the saddest birthday of those children's childhood. Today's stories remind us that every adult action leaves a lasting impact on children. From cars and homes to seemingly ordinary moments, children witness lapses in judgment, unwise choices, and the effects they create. Law, responsibility, and love go hand in hand. Every thoughtless action can shape a child's future in ways we may not realize. If you found this video helpful and want to spread the message, hit like, share, and subscribe today.
