By the end of all of this, officers aren't just dealing with the original complaint anymore. They're wrestling someone through an elevator while getting kicked, punched, and blamed for the entire disaster. Grab yourself a snack because class is officially in session, and today's lesson is called How to Turn a Campus Complaint into Battery Charges. >> On February 5th, 2025, officers responded to a college campus in reference to a disturbance. Why are we here? If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this. Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. They knew their apps could contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues, but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits. The recent historic verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions. Now Morgan and Morgan is stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they caused. Click the link in my bio to take a short quiz. You may be entitled to a potential recovery of over $1,000. >> Alpha 73. >> Can we get another unit to deal with um Jay Lee here? I got a cuff on him and when we got him against the >> L. Wait, so when you had the spray out, are you you know, you said >> I did not spray him. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So when he he when I was trying to get him calm down is when he freaking damn motioned towards me and I said I'm going to spray you. >> Okay. >> Then I pulled out the spray. >> Okay. >> Um everybody else started clearing. I tried to calm him down. I even had Josh try to talk to him. He wouldn't calm down. >> I told him that he today he was going to go. >> If he doesn't freaking damn cooperate. >> Finally, at one point I said, "Hey, >> it's already too late for everything. Turn around, put your hand behind your back. Trying to do this as peacefully as possible." >> Yeah. >> Kept on resisting. Kept on resisting. Grabbed him and it was on. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So he when I grabbed uh Riley secured one hand and then I was able to cuff it, but as we were trying to secure it to his back and his second hand around, he rotated around and threw a a close fist at me. >> Okay. >> Did he hit you? >> If he did, I didn't feel it. >> Yeah. Yeah. He didn't I mean he tried but he but I >> But I was able I think I cuz I don't remember him actually. But >> what saved was me grabbing his legs. >> Yeah. >> Cuz if I didn't get >> he grabbed but then he grabbed my mic. You see it's all stretched out. He grabbed my mic trying to rip it off >> and uh like I said he kept and then uh when we got him second elevator he threw a kick that one hit me. >> Okay. >> Uh he threw a kick on me and then we tried to get him and like said we just kept bouncing back and forth with him until we finally got him on the >> Here's here's the thing though to think about. Should he be bracketed or should he be taken to jail? >> Um I mean they can do that at the jail. >> Okay. Cuz I He's going to need some care. >> Yeah, >> there's something wrong. >> Yeah. >> And he definitely can't be with Jen Pop. >> They will destroy him. >> No, they're going to put No. You know, in that in in this case with this particular individual, they're probably put him in chest custody as soon as he get there. Soon as he >> get No [ __ ] He needs to be in protective custody. There is not something screwed right up here. He will get tore apart in Gen Pop. He needs protective custody. There is something broken in his brain. And I'm not trying to be disrespectful when I say that. There's something broken. No normal human being acts like that because they were called he instead of she, preferred pronoun. Like it I I have been around individuals that have preferred pronouns where I have witnessed myself or someone else misgender them and they become annoyed and like a little irritated rightfully so because they have a preferred pronoun. And if you mess it up like if if a if someone were to come up to me and be like sir, I'd be like the [ __ ] is sir? Like I'm not a dude. You know what I mean? It's annoying, but sometimes people can misgender. Maybe you just [laughter] don't KNOW WHY. SO, WHY WOULD SOMEONE CALL ME SIR? Damn it. Anyway, you know what I mean. You know what I'm trying to say. Like, you're a little annoyed. You're like, why would you call me that? It might have been a mistake. You're not going to really hold it against someone. You're not going to flip the out and start screaming and acting like a crazy person. There's something not right with this individual. And yeah, putting him in Gen Pop, he would be torn apart. He would be torn apart. Get him in protective custody 100%. >> I appreciate you coming. >> Um, but yeah. >> Well, [clears throat] that was an impressive amount of chaos for a very simple situation that could have been handled, you know, in a calm discussion. And I do believe that people should use the correct pronouns. Even if you don't necessarily agree with it, just use people's proper pronouns. However, that right does not magically erase the kicking and the punching and the screaming. You know, it is possible to respect someone's identity and hold them accountable all at the same time. Let me know what you guys think of this one down in the comments below. Do you think that this situation was handled appropriately or do you think it should have been handled differently?
