What are you doing? No, >> I'm just we're just talking. What kind of noise is he out there? >> You want to rest? >> Uh, yeah, sure. Thank you. >> Are you arresting me? I'm trying to eat here. [laughter] All right, everyone, settle in because today's body cam video is about to test the limits of common sense. Police respond to a hair salon where a woman allegedly got her hair braided, thanks the stylist, and then walks out the door and somehow believes paying was optional. This is one of those videos where you start to think that the logic can't possibly get any worse and then uh somehow it does. >> On February 6th, 2026, deputies responded to a reported theft at a hair salon. The caller advised a woman had just gotten her hair braided and left without paying and that she was actively following her. Deputies located the suspect a short distance away. >> No, you didn't want suspect in front of one. >> Stop. Stop. >> Yeah. >> Hold on. You're not going to leave. What's going on? Did you just go to the salon? >> What are you talking about? I asked her unexpected. I'm going back to Jamaica today. She said, "Okay, she could do it like that and then that was it." She never told me anything by pain or anything else. >> What's your name? Let's go with that. >> Why? >> Put the food down. Put the >> I'm hungry. >> Put it down though. >> You [laughter] put the food down. But I'm hungry. [laughter] >> Are you going to be sitting there eating your food while talking to a police officer? And [ __ ] where's your shirt? Where is your shirt? Are you dressed for Jamaica? You you don't wear shirts. I can't start I can't start this early in a video. I'm just going to I'm just going to push play and see where this goes. Arrest me. >> You're not free to leave. This is entertainment. It's an investigation. Okay. So, I need to figure out what happened. >> I just told you what happened. She didn't tell me to pay for anything. I asked her. I told you I was leaving today to go to Jamaica. >> Okay. >> And I told her that's what I was doing. And she said, "Okay, I can come and do it." But she never said nothing about pain. >> Come and do what? What did you get done? >> My braids. That was it. >> Oh, she did your braids. Yes. >> How long did that take? >> Didn't take that long. >> Okay. And so then you left? >> Yeah. >> Did she tell you that you needed to pay? >> She never said it at first. No. When you tell somebody you have to pay, you have to tell them up front. You never told me that up front. >> No, but you wouldn't expect that you go to a business. >> You never She never told me that up front CUZ I SAID BY CHANCE. Can you do it for me real quick, please? >> Got it. Okay. >> And >> the logic here just does not make sense, miss. Uh, I need to eat my food and then be on my way to Jamaica. You walk into a business and you say, "Hey, can you braid my hair real quick?" You don't expect to pay for services. Like, you just thought that she was going to braid your hair out of the goodness of her heart. How do you think she's going to pay for her rent if everyone that walks in she's just going to just give him a little braid real quick? Just give them little braids. Little braids. No talk about money. Seriously. Seriously. She didn't say anything about money, so I thought it was free. Is that the logic? Seriously? >> She said, "Okay, and that was it." >> You're complaining about pregnant. >> And I'm pregnant and I'm trying to eat my food here. >> 98. Copy. I have a little bit 9 to 12. Just 56 me in front of 117. Detain her. >> I'm pregnant. I'm trying to eat my food. >> All right. All right, just relax. >> Is this pregnant thieving [ __ ] really about ready to start eating food right in front of this police officer? Is she [laughter] Is she seriously about to start eating food in front of this police officer? Oh my god. This can't be real. This can't be real. Is this real? Is this real? Is someone pranking me? Uh, this body cam was actually suggested to me by a viewer and I just want to tell everybody if you happen to find a body cam that you want me to react to, feel free to send me the YouTube link to my email. My email address is below. So, this was uh submitted by a viewer. Is this a joke? Are you like, are you pranking me? Okay, it looks like it was submitted by Is it Colo? Did I say it correctly? Colo, are youing with me? [laughter] Colo from South Africa. Are you [ __ ] with me? Oh my god. All right, [laughter] let's let's continue, I think. >> You have any weapons on you? What's your name? >> Chardonnay. >> Chardonnay. What? Chardonnay. What? >> I'm trying to eat here. >> I know. Chardonnay. What though? >> What is it? >> Are you going to arrest me? >> No, no, no. I'm just putting gloves. It's cold out here. Chardonnay. >> Yeah. like H A R. What you did at birth? Oh my god, this [ __ ] is really sitting here going, "Are you trying to arrest me? Are you Are you arresting me? I'm trying to eat here. [laughter] Oh my god. Oh my god, it hurts. [laughter] It hurts. >> What are you doing? No, I'm just we're just talking. What kind of ones you got there? >> You want the red one? >> Uh, yeah, sure. Thank you. I appreciate it. >> Just do me a favor. Turn that way. You're going to go to handcuff right now. Okay. >> You're not under arrest right now, but you are going to be detained. Okay. Just relax. >> You know, you can't arrest me, right? >> Why not? >> I'm paralyzed. >> Paralyzed? >> Yes. >> So, how's that possible? >> Can you just get me to go get my >> SP? >> If you don't Yeah. Just hold it for a second. Uh, and she's right there. I want to go talk to her and see what happens. >> 90. >> Man, she walks pretty good for being paralyzed. [laughter] She offered him the rest of her food and he's like, "Sure, I'll take it." And threw that [ __ ] down. He's like, "Bitch, you under arrest." [laughter] Oh, this is too much. This is too much. >> 12's going to stand by. I'm going to walk over to the victim and see what we got. Yeah, right here. >> So, tell me what happened. >> So, um she comes in. We're >> Before you do anything, sorry. Just raise your right hand. >> Do you swear that everything you're about to tell me is the truth? The whole truth and nothing about the truth? >> Yes. >> Okay, go ahead. >> Um so, we were closed. I was closing up, but she came in all like, "Um, can my hair I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow? Like, please." And I'm like, "Okay." So, I thought like I'll be nice cuz she seemed like desperate. Whatever. Right. >> Are you involved? cuz she's my boss, so I just call her. >> Okay. Sorry. I didn't know if you were >> Oh, yeah. Um, and so I was like, "Okay." Yeah. So, it took about like almost an hour and she kned right out in the chair, but I didn't realize she was intoxicated until after she kned out >> and uh so >> so I'm braiding her hair. See, my hands are all standing, whatever color was in her hair. >> And uh and then then I'm finished. So, she said, "Thank you so much." And then so I'm walking to the front and I was like, "Are you paying by cash or by card?" And she said, "Huh?" I said, "Are you paying by cash or by card?" And she said, "Oh, I'll be back in 30 minutes." I said, "No, it's we we we don't do that here. We're closed and we you know, you have to pay with your appointment." She said, >> "Oh, huh. Well, you never told me before that I'm going to have to pay." >> Okay. >> Why do I have to pay? And then I said, "Um, well, I'm going to need to like pay for this." And she's like, "Well, I'm going." And then she like she's at the door. So, I I left to to just video her so I like know who she is. And then I was like I was like, "You can't just walk out. I'm going to have to call 911. You can do whatever you want. Give whatever." And then and and uh and that was it. And then I was just shaking. So that's why >> No. No. I get it. I get it. You do the right thing. >> So she was nodding off because she was intoxicated. Is she really pregnant? Please tell me she's not really pregnant. Please tell me that she's not really pregnant. And she just has a big old belly from from eating all of the fast food. Like please. I mean, we know she eats fast food. Did she get that belly from fast food or is she pregnant? Was she lying? Please tell me that she was lying and she's not actually pregnant and she wasn't drunk getting her hair braided. Please. Oh my god. This is This is not good. This is not good. It's hilarious, but it's not good. >> You said you took a video of her. >> Yeah. >> You have one on. >> It's not It only has like the side of her cuz I I was behind her. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. >> What's your name? Do you have an ID on you by chance? >> No, it's not on me. >> What is uh what's it what's your first and last name? >> Nope. >> I'm just going to pat you down for weapons. All right. >> I really don't care what y'all do cuz I didn't do nothing wrong. She didn't tell me nothing like that. >> Okay. You just face the car for me. Nothing sharp on you. It's going to poke me. No. Okay. Can I get my lighter back, please? >> Yeah. I just I don't want you having it and lighting up in the back. You know, >> I'm not going to jail. >> Well, you're sitting down in there for right now, so I just don't want you. >> So, let me get my stuff. >> I'm going to I'm going to I'll give it to you. >> You're holding me and I'm crippled. I I'm trying to tell you that. >> I know. I hear you. Just take a seat. >> Can I sit on the floor right here? >> No, you got to sit in the car. >> Can Can you leave the door open? I'll I'll crack the window. All right. >> No, cuz I'm not GOING TO GO TO JAIL CUZ SHE NEVER TOLD ME NOTHING. >> I SAID YOU'RE going to jail. Yeah. >> I say you're going to jail. >> And how much was the hair? Like how much was the >> I don't know. Now I'm just recalculating cuz >> I know that she's frazzled, but come on, baby. You You got to know how much her hair was because you already gave her a price. You can't be so frazzled that you've forgotten already. Got to be quick on the uptake. The police officers got someone to haul to jail. Come on, let's go. >> 70. I don't even know because I didn't have to like it was an hour. >> Yeah, I guess >> 60 or 70. >> I think I should have now just 80 whatever now. >> It's It doesn't Yeah, there's no difference. >> That's how much it was. I'm just freaking out though. I'm like, >> you're good. We got her. She's detained. No, I I understand your your warning. >> Um, >> it just never happened to you before. >> No, I didn't. I totally did. Um, at any point did you guys discuss price prior to your hair? >> No, I told her before I said, um, I said, "We charge between 50 and 100, and I'll know once I get through here." And she said, "Okay." >> Okay, got it. And now, um, this might sound like a silly question, but do you what are you guys going to do with this? You want her to trespass? Do you want her uh like arrested for the incident? How do you guys want to cuz it's it's up to you. Either way, it will be documented. Um but we I have basically like you guys are the victim you're the victim of this crime. Um >> what are the legal rights? >> Well, if you want, you know, if you want to prosecute charges, that's totally fine. She would go to jail for that. Um and then if not, there's usually two options. Usually do that. You can press charges and she goes through the legal system, she goes gets arrested, um your place is a victim in the crime. The business is a victim in the crime. Or we could tres trespass her from the property. basically meaning that if she steps foot back on it for any reason at all, like she doesn't need a reason to step foot on it, she would be arrested for that without you guys. That would just be like a trespass warrant in our system. So, it's up to you. >> Definitely a trespass warrant because she knows where she was and call the cops on her and I need protection in the shop. >> No, no, no, no. I get it. >> For sure. A trespass. Um there's no way to make her pay. Huh. I don't know why I care about that. >> I mean, I could ask her for you, but >> you worked hard and you deserve >> No, no, absolutely. No 100%. I kind of do it normally cuz I was bent over because her head was all the way down. >> Right. Right. Right. No, I I I um >> I didn't come out that great, but still I just spend an hour with her. >> She'll definitely be trespassed. Um but I I mean I can like I said, I can ask her about the money. I But if she doesn't have it, I can't like force her. >> I mean, I guess the best of both worlds would be, hey, if you pay for the service right now, you won't be arrested, but you will be trespassed. But if you can't pay, your ass is going to jail and you're trespassed. They can do both, right? They can prosecute and trespass. I would hope. He kind of made it sound like a or kind of situation. He didn't really make it sound like an andor situation. I would hope that they could do both. That they could prosecute and trespass. But I mean in this kind of circumstance, I would say the trespass for sure, but I mean maybe give her the option. I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE probably surprised by me. I know. I mean, at least give her the option to pay because get this poor girl her money. I understand the principle of like, no, haul her ass off to jail. No questions asked. You know, she doesn't get a chance to make it right. She's going to jail. I understand that side, too. But this girl did a job. She needs her money. At least give the option for her to pay to get out of the handcuffs. You know what I mean? But trespass. Absolutely. I still cannot believe that she was just nonchalantly eating in front of that police officer and then offered him [laughter] her food. That's freaking wild. >> Going to have money. >> I I I doubt it. Yeah. So, it's up to That part's up to you. If you I think definitely have her trespass. That way if she's seen around the shop, trust her. >> This right in this way in a trespass and I'm not convincing you either way. I really don't mind. Like it doesn't matter to me. I just I have to ask. But in the more manner of a trespass, uh case number is pulled for a report. Full police reports conducted and then uh what's we call a field interview report. We take a picture of her and then it's in our system that if you guys see her um and if we I mean I know but maybe like another shift comes by, they don't know. So, if you guys see her and she literally just comes onto your property, that's all it takes. >> What's considered our property or is it >> uh whatever the like I would assume probably like your not really the sidewalk but inside the shop at all. And if you get a video of that or picture, then she'll be arrested for that incident of trespassing. >> Well, she comes in the shop. >> Yeah. But I mean, if she's standing on the sidewalk, you know, public public property, but if if she does anything to come on the shop, that's 100%. I mean, if she's sitting on the on the sidewalk, I would still just call the police and just let them know, hey, this girl's trespass and she's like harassing the shop basically at this point, you know. But that's when we get to that bridge, we can cross it. But, you know, like I said, I just give you guys the options just cuz sometimes people just, you know, it's up to you really. >> Because it doesn't seem like it's her first time. >> I don't know. You can't do both. You can't get her for trespassing and >> Oh, no, no, no. Well, I can't arrest her for trespassing, but I >> It's like theft of a service. >> No, for sure. It's theft like that. There was a crime was committed, right? It just as a victim in the crime, it's now up to you to decide. Like if you sell drugs, the victim is the state of Florida, right? But if you commit a crime against somebody else such as you in the business, then it's now your >> No. If I want to prosecutor, do I get in trouble? >> No, you wouldn't get in trouble. You would just be labeled as a victim. Um, and you'd be that that that would just be like in there. >> Can she be arrested for the crime and for trespassing? No. >> So, we have the protection. The trespass can be entered in there. Yes. But she she's not Well, she would not be in violation. >> Only going to trespass if you >> She would have to come back again. >> Yeah. If you come back again, >> but arrest her for the theft. I think I mean I could be wrong, but it sounds like that's what this woman is trying to say. Can you arrest her for for both? Not arrest her for both, but can you do both? Can you prosecute her for the theft and do the trespass thing? I mean, unless I'm misunderstanding and she is asking for her to be arrested for trespass. I think she's asking if you could do both because maybe she was hearing it like I like I was. Again, it sounded like he said it was an or situation. We can get her for trespass or prosecute. It didn't sound like an and situation to me. So, I think maybe she's just looking for clarification on that. But this poor girl, she thinks if she prosecutes, she's going to be in trouble in some way. Oh, come on, honey. No, you're the victim. That's what he's trying to tell you. >> I don't know what the right thing is. What? I don't know what the right thing to do is. On the one hand, I'm like I feel I feel so bad for all these people that are just like so. On the other hand, like why should I feel bad? Don't feel bad. There's nothing to feel bad about. She did the wrong thing in my ear. She came in and took advantage of so you know I mean to me that's as if she came in and stole basically. It's the same difference. Yeah, she's she definitely is, you know, in violation of theft for sure. I just, you know, some people feel differently in how they want to go about things, but that's why I leave. >> I want to do what's safest for us at the shop. I don't want her coming back and trying to harass us or damage something there or, you know, something to that effect. So, I'm leaning toward the the trespassing cuz at least then if she's anywhere near the shop, I can call him and say, "This chick is here." >> If I were to press charges, can you also trespass her? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She'll also be trespassing. Oh, you >> she Yeah, 100%. She'll be trespassed. >> See, officer, dude, you got to you got to be more clear, man. You made it sound like it was an or situation. See, that's what I'm saying. Me and me and this blonde woman, we're like kindred spirits or something. Yeah. Like she she thought it was an or situation, too. She was trying to figure out which should we do. So, yep. I wasn't the only one confused. He needs to practice how he presents the situation because Yeah. All of this would have been solved a long time ago because the blonde woman would have been like, "Hell yeah, do both. Get that [ __ ] on both." Okay. You want Okay, perfect. All right. Um, do me a favor. If you want to start walking this way in my car cuz I'll get you guys some paper. I have to get You got to sign something. All right. Um, >> no. You did nothing wrong. [cough and clears throat] I just patted her down for weapons for now. >> Yeah, I'm going to I'm going to take her out here. What's that? >> I got money in my pocket. >> She admitted it to her. >> Um, what's up? >> Can I have the Can I put the money in my the money I HAVE IN MY POCKET? Can I pay her? >> Do you How much money do you have? >> I have $8. >> They want They don't want that. >> Please for me again. Please call for me again. >> She never said let me. >> So, am I going to jail? >> Uh, yes. You just just listen to the song. >> What the? Relax. >> How am I GOING TO JAIL FOR THIS? >> RELAX. >> I HAVE $8 in my pocket. >> Thank you. >> That's why you're going to jail for this. because you only got $8 in your pocket and you got a service that was worth over $50. That's why you going to jail for this. [laughter] Why are they always so shocked? Why are you shocked that you basically stole You stole a service. You didn't compensate the business for it. The police are there. You're literally wearing handcuffs and you're surprised that you're going to jail for this? Really? Really? Oh my god. This is where we are as a society. These people walk amongst us and I am shocked every day. >> I'm giving YOU $8. YOU'RE REALLY arresting me for for something you NEVER TOLD ME I HAD TO DO? >> HEY, you need to relax. >> WHEN I ASKED YOU FOR WHAT? I don't know. >> I didn't know that was full. Can you put my money in my and don't spend my money, please? I'm not going to take your money. >> Keep your hands out of your pockets. >> I really don't give a damn. >> I do. >> You know, they could give that $8 to the woman that braided her hair. Just saying. She could get herself What the hell can you buy for $8 now? She could go get herself a small iced coffee. I mean, it's a little late in the day. She could see if there's a happy hour somewhere, although it's after 6:00, so I highly doubt there's any happy hours going on after uh 6:00. Usually, they're earlier or late. Um, what could she do with $8? Go buy a couple of lottery tickets. I mean, there's lots of things that this stylist could do with this $8. So, I say pluck the eight bucks out of this bitch's pocket and give it to her. I mean, she deserves something for the work she put in. She took an hour to braid her hair and she got nothing. Nothing. So, yeah, give give her the $8. This [ __ ] ain't gonna need it in jail. >> That's goose. >> I'm not going to jail cuz she never told me none of this. Please stop grabbing my jacket. That's a dead person's jacket. >> Can I Can I ask you something? >> No. No. I want to talk about >> Is ignorance a good uh defense in the law? Does a bank have a sign that says you can't ROB You go to a place you say >> I DID NOT DO NOTHING WRONG, SIR. OKAY. >> I ASKED her if she could do something for me cuz I'm GOING TO JAMAICA AND I SAID THAT. >> MA'AM, I'm like a foot away from you. >> And she literally said, "Okay." She never told me I had to pay for anything. >> I'm a foot away from you. >> She never said that [ __ ] >> Please don't scream at me. It hurts my feelings. Please. >> I don't care. >> Please. >> The lady never said that [ __ ] ass [ __ ] >> Please don't yell at me. It hurts my feelings. [laughter] >> But no, the police officer is absolutely right. Ignorance of the law does not excuse your behavior. Like you can't say, "Oh, I didn't know." Because yes, you did. Yes, you did. There's no business in the world. There's no salon in the world where you can walk in and get your hair done and not pay for services. So, don't play stupid. Don't play stupid just because she didn't tell you exactly how much money it was going to be. Don't think that the services were free. Come on. And she even said that she told you it was going to be between $50 to $100 and she wouldn't know until your hair got done. So, don't don't do that. Don't do that. You're just making yourself look more foolish. Oh, you know what just occurred to me? Do you think she's going to make her trip to Jamaica now? And how the hell is she affording a trip to Jamaica when she only has $8 in her pocket and she's stealing braids? Who's paying for her trip to Jamaica? Really? Oh, I have so many questions. >> So, she's in the room. >> So, I'm locking you up. You never said that [ __ ] and you know that. You [ __ ] [ __ ] >> Also, you're trespassing this property. If you go back to that store, you're you're going to be arrested again. Do you understand? >> Okay. >> All right. Good. As long as you acknowledge. I go. >> No, no, no, no. You're also going to jail, too. >> What did I do? >> Oh. Oh. Oh, you committed theft. >> No. THE [ __ ] I DID IT. >> RELAX. RELAX. >> I don't need to give a [ __ ] I'll do >> for one damn day. I don't care. >> Hey, lady. Stop. Can you stop touching me? >> Hey, I got somebody for you, [ __ ] ho. >> I didn't say we were dumb. >> Are your pants big on you? What is this like? >> Yes. Guys, I'm hold I'm crippled. Can you stop? Oh, come on now. >> You are the one walking around here. >> There you go. >> Keep walking and moving. >> We're good, Gman. We're good. We don't need ID. >> Come here, >> Gooseman. Come here, PLEASE. CUZ SHE'S LYING ON ME. >> Y'all ain't going to put me in jail for nothing. >> I'm not going to tell the truth. This is what you don't talk to my ear. >> All right. They're going to take it a lot meaner than I will. >> Hey, man. Can you call Gucci? I'll talk to Gooseman. >> No, if you How about this? If you stop talking, maybe we'll do that. >> And let them Let her take >> Let her take your earrings out. >> No, that lady lied on me. Gooseman, she's lying. >> Let her TAKE THE EARRINGS OUT. >> NO, YOU GUYS. I'M CRIPPLED. >> OUT OF JAIL. >> NO, I want to talk to >> You're going to go in the court. >> I want to talk to Gooseman. >> Can I talk to Gooseman, please? >> No. You can talk to the back of my car. >> Gooseman, I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Sit down. SIT DOWN. I'M PARALYZED. And y'all, >> I don't think this [ __ ] knows what crippled and paralyzed means. She seems to be moving around pretty freely to me. I do not think it means what she thinks it means. >> She was initially charged with theft with two previous convictions, but court records show that charge was not filed and was instead reduced and transferred to misdemeanor court where it was refiled as theft with one prior conviction. After her arrest, bond was initially set at $5,000 and later reduced to $3,000 before she was released on her own recgnizance. She later entered a not-uilty plea. Court records show she failed to appear for a scheduled hearing which led to a warrant being issued on April 6th. She was taken back into custody on April 18th. As of the most recent update, the case remains ongoing with additional court proceedings scheduled. >> Of course, it does. I think it's safe to say she didn't get to take her trip to Jamaica. WW. We never even found out if she was actually like pregnant. I think she was just bullshitting. She probably wasn't really pregnant. She only mentioned it that one time. Maybe it was just her excuse to eat in front of the cop. She said, you know, she was eating for two or some [ __ ] which is just it's a stupid ass excuse to eat in front of a cop right before you're getting arrested.
