I need to get a supervisor involved. That's what I >> Some people get into a car accident and they just calmly exchange insurance information. Other people decide to turn it into a live audition for a reality TV show, argue with witnesses, walk away from the crash scene, come back demanding a supervisor, and then act completely shocked when the police decide that they need to be in handcuffs. Today's body cam features a driver who allegedly caused chaos before the police even arrived. And somehow every minute that passes only seems to make the situation a whole lot worse. >> On August 26th, 2024, officers responded to a traffic accident involving an aggressive driver. >> Yeah, I would. >> I know. >> Hey, you're in a 209 on 280 fighting at all that there at the signal for. >> I don't know who's at fault or whatever. >> Okay. Obviously, I'm not at fault. I'll stay with you for a minute. >> Yeah, I was driving my aunt to get her Yeah. >> I know you got a lot going on, but me and the gentleman behind me were in the car over in the lane. >> Okay. >> She hit him first. >> Okay. All right. >> He was bent over looking at the accident. >> That's fine. >> And she came up behind him and just went boom. >> Okay. Would you mind hanging out for a second then? Just for a little bit. We're going to try to get the info. Okay. >> I got my daughter with me though. So, I can hang out for a little while. I can give you my card if you >> Yeah, that's fine. Uh oh, they're just going to loop around. >> going to loop around? >> Yeah. >> I don't know what we were doing. I couldn't tell you who was at fault or what not. I mean, obviously it's probably Yeah, obviously that and then I don't know if one signal wrong or what whatever. >> know, but she said that >> What else? >> Where is she about? >> And she is through the other side of the light there. >> Um >> She I don't know if she's at fault I don't know who's the driver. >> Okay. >> Have someone you can stop her or what? >> Yeah, I was going to do that. >> She's going to go get my little cousins. It's her sister. >> Who was driving? >> He's got >> She was driving? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> But, uh she she got to go get my little cousins from from school cuz we were supposed to be picking them up right now. We late to pick them up. >> Yes, she's got to come back. Cuz it's it's it's for this. >> Safe over. >> To go get her? What's what's her what's her what's her first name? >> Destiny. >> Destiny? >> Yeah. >> Do you know Destiny's last You see the owner of the car there? Is Who Who's car is that? >> sister's car. >> What's Destiny's last name? >> I'm I >> [laughter] >> What's Destiny's last name? >> Uh should I give it to him? Am I ratting her out? >> [laughter] >> What did she leave? She left? She needed to pick up a kid? She left the scene of an accident? Okay, I understand, right? I understand. I have been in the situation where my son needed picked up from school, and I am frantically like, "Oh my god, I'm going to be late. I have to go pick him up. I don't want him to think that I abandoned him. I don't want the school to think that I'm a bad mother." Like, I've been there. But, you were just in a car accident. Okay? You were in a car accident. I think the school can handle your kid a little longer while you deal with this situation. And the fact that a witness said that she got out and hit him? Oh. The fact that she left is absolutely suspicious. And then let's add to the fact that this guy doesn't want to give her full name because he probably knows that she's in some deep deep [ __ ] Oh boy. Do you think they're going to have to go find her? Or do you think she's going to willingly come back? >> I'm not even going to try. I'm I literally over >> Like, that's not >> Can you call her? Cuz she's got to come back here for the the crash. I've got to get her info for the crash report. >> Is this going to affect me or my record or anything? That's all I want to know. I'm >> Were you driving? >> No, but >> Then you're good. >> He just Um They said you got to come back, bro, before you get a comfortable Hey, boss. >> Hey. >> Hey. >> No. I'm not off for a couple hours. I was just riding by, dude, and there was a single four. I didn't see him, and they were all fighting. >> I know. >> So, who was in the car? >> I was driving. >> Okay. You were driving and who was the passenger? >> You got your driver's license, my friend? I got my driver's license. >> I don't know if you need I was right behind them. She had cut me off, too. I don't know if you needed >> Got you. Okay. Um >> But or if you want to >> Is this your car here? >> Yeah, right here. >> If you hang out there for 1 second, I'll be right with you, okay? Thank you so much. >> One of them is a female. They just I don't How far are you from right there or no? >> All right. >> The car's drivable. >> Yeah, it's drivable. >> Um so, she punched this other guy in the back of the head. Black female, thin build, wearing um a sports bra and shorts. Um >> Like yeah, black female in the white sports bra. >> Was she in one of these vehicles? >> Yeah, she was the driver of the other vehicle. >> Supposedly, she went off to get the kids, but she walked off eastbound. Um if you guys want to head that way and see if she's in the diner. She She's squirrely, so >> He said she's squirrely. >> [laughter] >> That's At least that's what I heard. What did he say? Did he say that she's squirrely? Of course, she's probably squirrely. She's ready to scrap. She's wearing shorts and a sports bra. She's like, "Yeah, we got into an accident. I'm going to punch you in the back of the head and then go get my kid from school." Is she for real? I can't wait to meet her. >> Did she take the key? You got the keys to the car or did she? Okay. Would you just pull it in here for me so we can get out of the road? Otherwise, we're going to get hit. Let's go ahead. Would you mind pulling your truck in over here so that way we can We can get get the road open, please. >> All right. Yeah, just flip around when you can. >> Hey. >> Okay, loud. So, what happened? >> It was She had came in. She was from the far lane and like I stopped to let her in. >> This closest lane or the the >> farthest lane both starting out and then she cut me off, but I just stopped and let her go in and then this girl waved out the window. And then she kept coming in from this lane and went >> What are you doing? >> Right like she came from the far lane. >> Okay. >> And then came over to the closest lane. >> Got you. >> And then she like kept riding up even though I was like, "Ooh, that's going to be close to the things." And she rolled up right against his car and then tried cutting him off. >> Okay. >> And then really left no option for him if he hit her car. And then that she starts getting out immediately gets out of the car screaming, "You hit my car. You hit my car." And then basically attacked him and starts beating him up. >> Got you. >> Fighting on him and I mean he really didn't have much choice but to like >> Defend himself. Got you. Okay. >> And she gone gone. I think she ducked in gone and checked back at the stores over there. >> Well, I mean she could have gone any direction. It was a pretty significant time lapse. >> Yeah. >> And she came up on side and went up on the curb and then hit us. >> Oh. >> And then we She went to the front of us. She slammed on brakes. >> Okay. >> So then that's when >> Hearing these people describe this accident, was she drunk? Was she drunk? She literally sounds like she's sideswiping and and making weird ass turns and trying to squeeze into places and hitting people and coming up on curbs. Is she drunk? I mean the fact that she left the scene of an accident to go pick up her kid. I mean she could be lying. She could be lying about that or the guy could be lying for her. She might not be picking up a kid. She might have just fled because she knew she was in deep [ __ ] because she was drinking and driving or something. And she got all of these people involved in her little [ __ ] show. Where is she? God, I hope they bring her in soon because I really want to meet her. >> So she went on the the sidewalk over here? >> Mhm. >> Oh. >> She came up the curb and must have went on the sidewalk cuz we were in the number one lane. >> I got you. Yeah. DUI territory now. >> I'm telling them but it not matches up the >> 15 minutes later, another officer arrived on scene to wait for the driver to return. >> What are you going to do nothing about it? >> So there's you. >> Ma'am, I just got here. >> She got marks over there. >> know the story so I don't know the story. >> So I have zero understanding. >> The worst you get is a She coming back here? >> Are you pressing charge Are you going to arrest him for hitting her? >> Well >> Yes or no? >> Well, I have to get her side of the story. >> Yes or no? >> Well, I don't know. >> It's not a yes or no. We We We only have one side of the story. >> Don't you see the marks on her head though and it didn't happen because of the accident. So are you going to let somebody hit her? It don't even matter. What's your badge number? >> 52. >> And what's yours? >> 892. >> You said you just walked up. You wasn't here when it happened. >> No. >> Okay, but you were here, correct? >> No, I wasn't here when it happened either. I showed up then she walked off. >> Whose badge number 52? >> And who are you? >> I'm the parent and I'm also the owner of this car. >> Oh, that's perfect. >> So I'm >> Hold. Hold. Do you have your ID so I can send you information for the crash report? >> You can do this right here. I wasn't driving it. >> Well, there's two people attached to the car so >> I'm Anitris. >> I'm sorry, what's that? >> I'm Anitris. >> I'm the person Anitris? >> I'm the person. >> Well, that's my thing like she left for her safety y'all >> No, she didn't. No, she no, she didn't. No. She She's on the way back. >> What is she trying to say she left for her safety? She left for her safety? Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Let me think logically here. She left for her safety. Is this woman trying to say that she sideswiped and got into an accident with these people and then they were going to hurt her so she had to flee? I mean, I'm I'm probably fabricating a story here based on this weird ass assumption I'm being given. What? Oh, but she's on her way back so >> [laughter] >> let's see how this escalates. >> Okay, perfect. >> She's right here. >> Oh, perfect. All right. >> Y'all this is Oh, there's more So we're going to send 15 per. Am I the only one out of range? And Greg, is is that the is that the woman? I know I know >> We got the one out of driving right. >> Yeah, with the okay, perfect. Do me a favor, just hang out right here for a sec. >> Okay, I got it. >> Our report's done, I'm going to send it to your email address so you guys have Actually, just hang out for just a minute, okay? Real quick, real quick. Raise your right hand for me. Right hand. Do you swear to affirm everything you told me is the truth? Okay, perfect. Is there somebody on you by chance? >> No, he's talking to >> Just me by the way. >> All right, too. >> Scratch, I guess you got that from the accident, too. >> Yes, ma'am. Is Destiny are you still staying in on Albany? Okay. Okay, perfect. So so what happened here? >> Hello. >> You got to hit me. >> I'm trying to get my stuff back, that's all I want now. >> I'm trying to go get them, but they're already in another school. >> Got you. >> I can't go get them. >> Okay. >> But he hit me. >> What what what what happened with the traffic crash? >> That's what happened, he hit me. >> Okay. >> He hit the back of me. >> Okay, where can you show me where, by chance? >> He had a big truck. >> Okay. >> sit us in the back. >> Okay. >> I don't know where. He just pulled over. He was in the middle. >> Hold on. Child, it was like a little >> So, it wasn't even nothing at all. >> It was literally nothing at all. >> But, this did, you know. >> Okay. You don't have to lie. Damn feet, brother. >> Yeah, but Supposedly, the officer that saw was off duty, so >> I'm just going to get some close-ups of your face, okay? I'm just going to get some pictures real quick. >> I just told him to go get my disposables. I called my dad and I called my mom and I had to >> I called all the marks on my leg. >> Daddy on the phone. >> Let me write it down. >> I called mom and I told her to >> I'm just going to get some close-ups of your face, okay? I'm just going to get >> Yes, sir. >> Perfect. So, if you'll stay with your hands by your side for me. >> Okay. >> I want to use I'm just going to get some close-ups of your face, okay? >> Ouch. >> I need you to hold your hands out front like that for me. All right. All right, so if >> I told him I left it straight up in the car, but it wasn't there. >> Okay. >> So, I let him leave. >> Right. >> So, he left. >> So, so Just so we're all clear, we're all on the same page. It's like now you're not free to leave. You're being placed under arrest for battery because I have three individual witnesses who weren't involved in the crash. Who said that? Yes, sir. >> Well, I'm saying I didn't hit him, bro. >> But, he hit her and she got marks. Is your placing her under arrest? >> All right. >> That man wasn't even there when that happened, bro. >> I'm just letting I'm just letting you know what's going on, right? So, I I have I have I have three witnesses who were involved in the crash. >> And who hit who, bro? Who hit who, bro? >> Bro, to find out. >> So, when the dude was like this was here. >> Oh, okay. But, you're arresting one person? >> So, I'm telling you I have three witnesses who weren't involved with either one of y'all. >> That'll be part of the Not him. No. No, ma'am. >> Who else was there? There was nobody else there. >> There was There was three people involved over there. They gave me their information. And so, that'll be on the police report for you. >> that I can go home? >> Well, if you're You're not under investigation. Definitely I need a supervisor. >> I need a supervisor. I'm fine. >> I'm going to ask you to put your >> I need a supervisor, please. >> So, I'm going to put your hands behind your back and I'm going to put your hands behind your back and put them up. >> for the fault. >> I already gave a supervisor and called them. >> Definitely not. >> Get down on the ground. >> I need a supervisor. Get down on the ground. >> I already said that, Destiny. >> What are you going to do? >> Stop. Stop. >> Three different witnesses said that she was the one that did it. >> Stop. Just stop. Just stop. Penal code 15, one time. Get up on your feet. So, >> Man, that that was quick. Okay, here's the thing. She's marked up, right? She's marked up, but is she marked up because of the accident or is she marked up because she was assaulted? Is that Is that what they're trying to say? Because these other people said that she straight up walked up and just hit this guy after the accident. Then she left. It's a bad look, right? Like it's a bad look. You're in an accident, someone gets hit, and then you leave, and then you think you're just going to stroll back onto the scene and act like you're the victim? Like it just It's all very suspicious. And then the fact that they're saying that they need to detain you for battery because there's witnesses that say that she hit somebody else. Like not hit with the car, but like hit somebody else, and then she immediately tries to flee. No, not suspicious at all. Not suspicious at all. >> Okay. No. >> Stop. You're not reach in into your pocket. Stop. Stop. >> Stop. >> Okay, we'll get your phone. Just don't reach in your pocket like this. Listen to what they're saying. Do not reach in your pocket. >> I won't. You won't get my >> Do not reach in your pocket. >> They said get all my drugs and [ __ ] >> Okay, just don't reach in your pocket. You know they both supposed to go to jail, but this is officer on a for officer >> All right, ma'am. We're going to stand you up. You want to read your rights and or do you want to read >> I don't know. I think they both said that's what happened, but >> Okay. >> We're not going to leave her. We don't know if you have a supervisor >> She asleep. >> [laughter] >> Did Did she pass out? Did Did Did she fall asleep? Was she laying there with her eyes closed? >> All right, you said There we go. >> Stand up. >> Listen, you're making it worse. >> Mom, get my >> Stand up and get your >> You're Okay, you're Get your Mom. >> Mom, can I get my stuff, PLEASE? >> OKAY, STAND UP. >> MOM, GET my stuff. >> Listen. >> Mom, get my stuff. >> Get my up. Stand up and get in the car and you can get your other charge. >> Okay. >> He's got it in his hand. >> I got it right here. >> No, my car keys and everything. >> Okay. >> My girlfriend's coming, too. >> Okay, but you got to get up. >> I got everything. I will. >> Get up and get in the car. >> Okay, get up. Like you're doing too much. Like okay, just get up. >> [laughter] >> You doing too much. Get [screaming] up. Like I don't know if that's her sister or her friend. They look a lot alike. But at least she's got a somewhat decent head on her shoulders. She's telling her to straighten up. She's just making the whole situation a lot worse. >> You don't have nothing in your pocket. >> Oh, they got it all? >> Yeah, he got it in his hand. And the >> What about the money, Dante? >> There's no money on her. Yes. There's no money on her. >> coming. >> All right. >> Mom, call her. Wait up on her. Call her right now. Hurry up. Stop. All right, come on. Just in the car. We'll let you go. >> You're not going to be in my hand like that, [ __ ] >> I do because you're not listening. All right, you're going to catch another charge, okay? You want another charge for resisting? Get in the car. We'll let's speak let's you copy. >> BUT YOU'RE NOT. YOU'RE BITING MY HAND. >> CUZ YOU'RE NOT LISTENING. >> YOU GOT TO GET in the car. >> I WILL, BUT YOU'RE NOT biting you're biting my hand. >> Okay, stand up. Just stand up. >> And get in the car. >> No, where is she? >> They are Just get in the car. >> Come on. >> This chick has definitely mastered the art of dead fishing. >> [laughter] >> They're just having a flop around. She's like, "I ain't helping you." She's just basically closing her eyes and just >> [laughter] >> Yes, well you are making IT WORSE. >> MOM, WHERE IS MY GIRLFRIEND? >> I TOLD YOU SHE CAN'T DO NOTHING FOR YOU. >> LET ME SEE HER, PLEASE. >> NO, MAN. JUST get in like you did. >> No, Mom. Let me see her, please. Please, please. Can you get her in the seat? I'll grab Can you get her Stop. Look at my Look at my face. Thank you. >> All that work for this nothing. >> Y'all thought this was funny. >> My supervisor is not coming here. >> So, who's coming? >> I don't know. >> How you see? >> How you see? >> Yep. >> What's up? She was the one who called my parents and lied that I hit her first. >> I mean >> We got to wait for the supervisor. >> All the way You guys are good to go, okay? >> All right. >> Like that's crazy. >> I'm not being nasty. You asked me for an answer, so I gave you an answer. >> A grown man hit this girl and y'all arrest her? >> I didn't let any I didn't let anybody do anything. >> She So, she touched him first, is what you're saying. >> Yeah. >> Y'all was supposed to give me her a >> Exactly. Like that's crazy. >> So, here's three people. >> Who? I was here. >> I wasn't talking to you. I'm talking to her. >> He was here though. He was in the car with her. >> Okay. Okay. >> Man, he sounds tired after dealing with her ass. >> [laughter] >> Let's see. She got a battery charge. She got charged with leaving the scene of a crash, which is a no-brainer. She had no valid driver's license, and she got resisting without violence. So, I mean, I guess technically she wasn't violent, but she did resist because she just like She just like flopped around. >> [laughter] >> I am curious though. Were all of the marks on her because of the accident she was in, or did she really get into a violent altercation with these people? I I'm guessing it was just from the accident. Do you guys think that she was drinking? Like why did this accident happen? Was she under the influence of something? I mean, it seemed like she involved a lot of people in a car accident unnecessarily. I mean, that's just what I was gathering though. But, there is a lesson here. If you're involved in an accident, maybe skip the fighting, skip the disappearing act, and definitely skip arguing your way into additional charges. Because those body cams are rolling, and the drama might be entertaining to us, but it won't be helping her case. Thank you guys so much for watching.
