Do not lay hands on me. When tenants make paying rent look like an extreme sport on the ground now. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on a second. A one-way trip to the streets is what they get. Don't do it. I swear to God. Do not touch me. Let me go. You can't do that. Today, Detective Dale will take us through five cases where tenants learn the wild concept of paying rent the hard way. It's one thing to pay rent late, but it's a whole new level of delusion to not pay at all and still act like you're doing the landlord a favor by gracing their property with your unpaid presence. Watch your mouth. Watch your mouth. On October 24th, 2023, Florida officers responded to a battery report at an apartment complex after an employee was allegedly attacked by a tenant when he asked for overdue rent. All right. Where are the other two separate? So he has one of those inside my office. Sure. He's inside office. Okay. We'll come out and help you. Okay. And this is the primary deputy deputy armstead. Okay. So he's going to he's going to be definitely doing the investigation. So from the top, tell them what happened. Okay. So, I come into work 12:00. I'm a part-time employee here. Okay. So, I come to work. I sit down. I clock in. I clock in. I go through my emails. I go through my emails. I go and my manager told me, "Hey, call a resident. Let her know that she needs to come down here at such and such time so that way she can go ahead and pay for whatever she needs to pay for, figure out what's going on with it." I'm like, "Okay, cool." So, I sit down and as I sit down, I'm leaving the resident a voice message. I'm like, "Hey, Grace, I need you to come in at 4:30. Speak with John about, you know, your your payment issues or whatever the case may be." And as I'm doing that, she comes in, walks in right there. Comes in and I'm sitting down. I'm on the phone and she comes and chokes me, spits in my face, punches me. I had a spit in my mouth. And yeah, that's when he came. I was like, "What the like?" And she he came and took it off me. So it it it basically became physical the second she this right right when she came in like right when she listen no time okay so he didn't even have time was it happening before you even realized kind of okay I don't think you understand her why is she so upset with you I have no idea so let me now y'all that's just finish oh I was saying he wouldn't know until I let you tell you what happened in the morning when he was not here just real quick I just have some follow questions for you at any time was a verbal altercation between you and her before this? No. Okay. So, there would be no reason that she would be provoked to attack you for any reason to your I could tell you literally what I do every day after work. After work, I lock up, leave out there, I talk to which is the So, you have no idea why. No idea. I talk and just let you know what I do. I go talk to Shane outside for like 10 15 minutes, talk about like our day, like what do we need to do to get better as a team and whatnot. And then after I go on my merry way to my dog, have you seen this lady before? Yeah, she came in like once or twice cuz um for like she's Chen's like leasing and whatnot is but she's never had an issue with me before. Like I like like one time when I was like, "Oh, you need to download the active building app." And she goes, "Oh, I don't want to learn." I'm like, "Oh, okay. Not a problem." And then she came in the other time like a week after saying, "Oh, listen. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off that way." I'm like, "No, it's cool. It's okay. Don't worry about it." That's the only That's the only interaction I ever had with her. Outside of that, I'd never had anything. So, she came and choked you and put hands on you. No provocation. choked me, put hands on me, and spit at me. Okay, mind you, we're post I know Florida doesn't really care about that, but we're post at the end of the day. It doesn't matter. Despite her wild attitude, the manager still tried to ask the police to understand her side as she may be going through a rough period. But some people go through rough periods the same way hurricanes go through towns, loud, messy, and leaving everyone else to clean up the damage, or in her case, her spit trails. Thankfully, she wastes no time providing proof of her rabbid attitude on the spot. I want to press charges. Whatever I need to do, follow the paperwork, I want to do it. Okay. That's just ridiculous. All right. And you said you had some information about why she was angry. I guess this morning she came and stopped me when I was coming downstairs to come to work. I didn't tell you. My name is John. I'm a manager. I run this place. I'm the financial and executive marketing man. Okay. Um, she coming downstairs and she got out the card and she, you know, jumped at me, "Hey, I got to talk to you about something." And then when I asked her, I said, "What exactly do you talking about?" She's like, "I heard um I heard somebody was complaining about me and in my apartment. I don't do anything." And she just seemed off. Okay. Is the best way you can call it is the most respectful way we can call it. So, she's talking to me. She's she's in a like in a days like you ever seen pull somebody from drugy driving and they can't even walk in a straight line. That's that's what she was doing. Like she was stumbling. She was just off her offer. So I her her her her apartment itself. She's only been here not even a whole 30 days. Okay. So after that, I was just like, "Okay." She walked back inside here with her school outfit cuz she goes to culinary school. I said, "We already talked about what your issue is. Please go ahead and leave it alone. If you make it a bigger issue, then you won't have an apartment here anymore." Okay. She starts to cry. She apologizes to me. And then she goes on about her day. And then this was today or yesterday? Today. This is all This is all from this morning. 8:15 this morning. So you walked in this building right now and I kid you not, I hear her voice and the whole time I've already known I hear her voice and I heard her voice and I immediately shot up because I already knew she was going to step inside here and put put her hands on. I already knew immediately that was going to happen. You were involved. No, he snitched on me. You seen outside? Hello. Hey, what's up guys? How we doing everybody? Hey, how are you? You guys want to take a doctor? I'll help him. He's She's the other half. Yeah, he's he's a witness. Oh, okay. Cool. Where's the other guy? He's there. The long sleeve shirt. But I just wanted to talk to everybody's on the scene. Where's the other guy? Snitch. He's over there on the phone. Oh, yeah. He's right there. Remember that. So, I like our videos. Don't forget to subscribe. There's a lot going on, right? Okay. You know, as of right now, I just want to make sure we put out that she's going through a lot right now, you know. So, when it comes to that, I just want that to make sure everybody comes into place, you know, from the time that she is, you know, I'd say on the harmless side, but as of right now, you can see there could be things going Yankee 39. I didn't want you guys to sit here coming here guns blazing. I just know that's it. Yeah, I guess. So, well, so I just know what Let me talk to her. Uh, I can't I can just tell you what physically happened. I can't tell you anything. So, yeah. Yeah. So, if you Is there a place I can talk to her separately? Right here. Right here. Hello. I'm here. You want to know? We were all here. What the [ __ ] You need me for separately. What the [ __ ] is separate? You getting too clever. Your job. Do your job. Do your job. We came here for one thing. Your job. Don't put your hands next to my face. Okay. That's where you lost me when you don't know. I know. When you calm that tone of boys down, you going to get smacked. So, uh uh uh uh calm it down. Hands behind your back. Hands back. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Hands behind back. Hands back. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't you think you're going to threaten me if I hit him? All right. I'm not playing. But you threatened me was shooting me when you got left with me, right? You're going to shoot me, right? You're going to shoot me, right? That's what you're going to do anyway, right? You're going to shoot me, right? That was a threat. You got loud, so I threatened you back. So, we both threatened each other. That's that get back. Now, take me to park, please. I'll put in the back of the car. I don't understand, but you're going to the car because I forgot and I don't want the facility burned down. So, blow it out, please. Cuz the apartment's going to blow down and I actually start to slap me. Okay. I didn't touch you. I did not touch you. Is that a Is that a lie? Okay. The cops seen that though, right? That's a lie. Now you lost me. No, she's she's break that case up. Write that case up. You lied. I'm not opening my mouth no more. One would think that the handcuffs would tame her, but she gets even more erratic in the back of the cop car. Here, I'm going to use the back of my hand just to brush the rub down politely cuz anything else you Well, let's see how this case goes. Okay. Slider. Okay. You have a seat, man. Be careful. You're going to shut the door on my foot. Right. That's what you're going to do. Cuz I'm a dog, right? But that's right. That's where you Right. That's where you up. Right. Oh, disrespect me. Yo, show them how you disrespect me. Show them how you disrespect me and how you threaten to shoot me. Show them. Show them. Put the car. Okay. We don't want to hurt you. Just step back. All right. We're going to do one night for you. All right. She's here. So, what happened? Nothing. We're in there. I'm talking to the gentleman. She starts getting so I'm not talking to her and we're right I'm like can I talk to her like start playing just [ __ ] with me and her she starts getting loud so I was like I was like oh hell no she said she was going to slap this okay so she actually goes back out she just starts spitting spitting and spitting so he starts recording her she [ __ ] the police put inside there Does that basically sum that up? Yeah. And all the other stuff, like I said, inside the office. Okay, perfect. Yeah, we'll we'll get you a link. And you lied and said I smacked you. Yeah. Yeah, you lied. You want me to spit in your face? Cuz that won't be a lie. You want me to spit in your face? You want me to touch me again like that, ho? Yeah, homie. The right way. Don't spit. Watch your mouth. Don't spit in my Watch your mouth. Don't spit. Watch your mouth. Everything is being recorded. Cool. And yours, too. What? Cracker Jack. Put your hands on me. What's your last name, huh? Snap Fox. What is it? Snap Fox. Snap Fox. Snap Fox. How do I spell that? Snot Fox. And the first name, can you stand over here for me? Not right now. Respect me. You're going to get disrespected right here. Just like that. Okay, I understand. Just like that. I understand. Yes, I am. It's not going to work. Okay. Possibly. Hello, ma'am. Just need that uh signature affidavit there. I have free will. Can I? May I? Please. Okay, just stay back here. No, you back the up. Do you want us to put her in the I told you this thing, so I don't give a I'm really feeling tough today. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right, relax. Calm down. Everything's going to be fine. Put me up in here with these disrespectful people. Drag them today. Make sure it's a two-way street. Okay, I agree. I've been respectful. You don't open the door. What? Yes. She was taken to jail and banned from the property. While this suspect seemed unstable, our next tenant just likes to withhold her rent money for fun. You No. No. No. No. No. This is your country. Have fun. No. Let me go. Sir, let me go. Let me go. This is your country. This is your country fun. On April 25th, 2024, officers in Florida received a call regarding an evicted tenant who had returned to the property. The woman had failed to pay rent for 5 months and was still refusing to leave. Hey ma'am, what's your name? What is it? Milan. Milan. Yeah. Do you have an ID on you? So, I I'll let you know right now. Um, I talked to the deputy that served the paperwork. He notified me that you were properly evicted. Deputy came today. Um, evicted her out and he had me change the lock. The deputy had to change the lock. Deputy Curry. Hey, Deputy Curry. It's Officer Michael Price, Daytona Beach. She was evicted properly earlier. Okay. She went and took her legal paperwork, went to the courthouse, filed two separate motions. Uh, I got notice from the courts. Both motions were denied. Okay. I gave it to the I I gave them all type of evidence to show them exactly what's going on. They just denied um no legal basis. Okay. So I I already have that there's plenty of legal basis. I I understand that you you believe that there's plenty of legal basis, but they've already denied your judgment, which means So if if you understand that I have 24 hours to be evicted. I need I need to get You've already been evicted. I'm not evicted. I need to get access back. I'm I'm They're not giving you access back to your stuff. I I just want to let you know I need to get access. I just want to let you know right now at this point it doesn't seem like we're kind of getting anywhere and I and I really don't want to escalate it to the further the next level. I'm just letting you know you've been properly evicted. Listen, may I speak please? I've been getting May around for like almost 8 years now. Okay. For almost 8 years. Okay. I'm I'm going to explain to you as simple as I can. They've evicted you. Okay. You went to the court. Your act your actions were denied. Okay. Which means you've been properly evicted, which means you no longer have any tenant rights to this place. If you would like to grab your stuff, you can call them at a later date and arrange to grab your stuff. But as of right now, you've been legally evicted and they do not want you on the property. So, I have to ask you to leave the property. If you refuse to leave the property, I'm going to place you under arrest. Okay? I'm telling you right now, I as I just said, this is a long history. I'm I'm letting you know right now, ma'am. If you I don't want to place you under arrest, but at this point in time, you're giving me no recourse. This is a long history. You're giving me no Can you please leave the property? I'm getting We're not doing any of that. There's no legal basis for me to get the support back. Will you leave the property? Yes or no? But and now will you leave the property? Yes or no? Ma'am law, ma'am. Yes, please. Will you leave the property? Yes or no? No. Okay. Do me a favor. Stand up. No. 47 central. Is there another unit close by? I need to speak to the supervisor. There the gentleman that you need to speak to him. He does not want to speak to you. They've already properly evicted you. At this point, you're going to go to jail for trespassing. I'm not for trespassing. How is trespassing? Thank you. 61. How's trespassing? You're I'm telling I've asked you to leave. Yeah, I'm cold for I've already asked you to leave. You told me no. I need to get access to you. I have plenty of stuff. They've already plenty of I have plenty of stuff in the apartment. They do not want to allow you access to to the to the place. What's the reason? They don't have to. They don't have to give you a reason. There's no reason. No, they don't. Why? Why not? Cuz they don't have to give you a reason. They've already given you enough time to grab your stuff and leave. You did not do that. When did they give me plenty of stuff? When they gave you a notice. When When was that? I'm just letting you know right now. You're going to be placed under arrest. When was that? Okay. When was that? All right. Being difficult with the officers gets you nowhere but to the police station. This is the lesson this suspect is about to learn the hard way. There's no legal basis, but now you you trying to enforce the law for trespassing. I'm telling you right now, you're they don't want you on the property. There's no legal basis there. There is plenty of evidence. There's plenty. That's something you can take up with the court. I did already. They don't want to see it. Then that's that that's where we are right now. Okay. At this point in time, you have to leave the property. I don't want to take you to jail. I really don't. I'm just asking you to leave the property because you know you won't. No, I'm not wrong. The court has already told you. You know you won't. Okay. The call the court is wrong. You won. Okay. Even the supervisor. Now the office is closed. Okay. Suddenly the office is closed. There's not something fishy about that. Nothing fishy about that. Nothing is fishy about that. Okay. This is your country. Have fun. You No. No. No. No. This is your country. Have fun. No. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. This is your country. This is your country. Have fun. Let me goain right now. You're not free to go. This is Let me go. Do not touch me. Let me go. Letting you know you're not free to go. You're not free to go. This is your country. Please do not Please do not fight. Do not resist. Stop resisting. Please stop resisting. Let me go. Please stop resisting. Please stop resisting. Let him know. Please stop resisting. Okay. Let don't touch her. Please. Don't make it hard. Let me go. Let me go. Don't make it hard for yourself, honey. Face the wall. I will not move. Ma'am, hang tight. Move it. Do not move. It's a choking hazard. No, it's not. It's not a choking. How is it a tricky hazard? Ma'am, just calm down. Face the wall, please. Ma'am, face the wall. Ma'am. Ma'am, you have to calm down. Please stop. Listen. Listen. Either way, the county is going to remove it. What's the reason they want to remove it? They ma'am, they're not going to. They're going to take it off. It's I understand, but it's a choking hazard. People can use that. Why would I choke myself? Listen, why would I choke myself? We're not saying you. It's just a policy. Okay, let me let me braid my hair first. Okay, you can take it off. Remove that. No, we're not removing the cuffs. You have to take the scrunchie off. Okay, you're going to have to grab that because I can't stay in here. I need two of that so I can't get back here. No, you have to grab that. That cannot stay in here. Ma'am, it's not coming off. Ma'am, that item is not going to stay in here. You need to remove it. No. I apologize. I I've had it before, bro, where someone tried to choke themselves with whatever they got on them. I'm not that I'm not losing my job cuz she wants she wants comfort and convenience. She was charged with trespassing and resisting violence. Unfortunately, she's not our worst tenant today. Our next suspect takes things too far until cops have no option but to use force. Do you mind sitting in my car with me to talk to me real quick? The wind's really crazy right now. No thanks. I don't trust you guys. If there were a charge for non-stop yapping, this woman would probably never leave jail. Don't do it, you guys. I was. On March 6th, 2022, officers responded to a dispute regarding a female who had not left the residence even after the owner's request. When officers arrived, they found the woman outside the residence claiming to collect her stuff. Every week I move we how many loads we take yesterday and I took a load is of her stuff or Okay. I thought I thought she was gone a while ago. I didn't know. Well, she's supposed to be Has she been formally evicted? Yes. January. Yeah, I have an eviction. Okay. I I just didn't know. Sometimes we have eviction notices and then yet they haven't been served through our court. So, I didn't You want to see it? Sure. Yeah. I mean, did did our our uh did Tony come over here through the court and say, "Hey, you know, you got to be gone. Did they kick her out?" She hasn't lived here. She hasn't lived here in how long? December. Okay. January, I think, but she she is mentally unstable. Is that Is that her car? That's her girlfriend's car. Okay. Is her girlfriend here? No. No. Okay. Okay. May I May I go in? Okay. Yeah. If you get that notice for me, please. Hello. Hello, ma'am. Uh, how are you? 65 radio. Good. How are you? Good. What do you got going on here? Um, I stepped from the patio. Okay. Were you painting? Oh, yeah. I'm painting my friend's house that I'm living at. Okay. In exchange for living there. Oh, perfect. Perfect. How have you been? I haven't seen you in a while. Getting a freaking job and a half. Yeah. Heavy heavy smoke. Okay. A heavy smoker. How are you doing? Oh, really good. I haven't seen you in a while. Well, that's a good thing. Yeah. I came for help a couple times up there at the station like they had told me to do and they wouldn't come. I'm sorry. That's all right. I take, you know, matters into my own hands and there's been a lot going on here in the past 15 years and they found out all about it. Yeah. And they found out how she gets away with it. Do you want to do you mind sitting in my car with me to talk to me real quick? The wind's really crazy right now. No thanks. I don't trust you guys. You don't trust me of everybody. I don't trust any person. I don't think I've ever not, you know, been kind to you or you'll take off with me. No, no, no. Honestly, I was just trying to get out of the wind and stuff to talk to you and I didn't want to go inside the house cuz it seems like the wind. You can handle the wind. I didn't know she was outside. Yeah, I'm not How much stuff does she have here? Still all the big stuff left is this and this and for clothes and stuff, you know. She still has a lot of clothing and stuff here. Yeah, but all she had. Okay. You know, the doors were unlocked. So the doors of what were unlocked? He refuses to bring my thing. So Okay. You know. So did you go inside the house? I don't know what's going on. His car here. Look, see this is all my See all the outside stuff from the radio. Okay. Did you take anything from inside the house? This is all I mean you can look from the patio. A lot of stuff here. Are you supposed to be here? I'm coming in on the last end. The police won't help me anymore. Okay. I've tried three times. I tried last uh like getting an escort to come here and get your stuff. Yeah. And they won't help me. Okay. So, um like she just turned her back on me. I think it was Friday. the who did the the black woman that was here that morning with you guys that I called you for grievant for him getting out. I don't remember a black woman. I just remember your roommate. She was here tomorrow. I don't think we have anybody that works there. Okay. You guys need to work on whatever she's got in there that's yours needs needs to be out. I mean, you evict her, but then we left this. I'm just saying the excuse to keep coming back is the stuff's here. Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah. Next week. My brother's going to help me again. We're going to get all the rest of the big out. It's almost out now. Oh, yeah. It's like 80% up. Yeah. But but now I start going through it again cuz she throw everything around, you know. I don't know. Was mine was hers. And the the guy that you were living with, that's the only person that I knew of. Oh, no. She Oh, I mean police people. There's no Oh, you're talking about another officer. I thought Okay. Oh, no. She's really tall. I know you're talking about a neighbor, somebody you live with. Okay. Yes. I remember Broadview Heights. Mhm. Okay. And then they sent me a parise and then I came to Well, because he used my identity to transfer some money and then he used my identity to pay the gas bill and the electric bill. Okay. So, there's a lot of things under dispute. Okay. I wish she the doors weren't locked and that she took stuff on the patio. Patio stuff. The woman continues to take advantage of the officer's kindness and wastes their time with incessant chatter, but the officers see right through it. As soon as she tries to jump into her car with the intention to flee, all hell breaks loose. They said you were in the house, but but the whole point is you can't. You're a victim. Listen, Officer Quinn, I've tried three times to get you guys to come down here with me because that's what you told me you would get. You said, "We're not going to watch you pack, but once you get packed, we will come and help you get your stuff out." That was three months ago, and nobody will come with me. All you got to do is call us three times. No, I went there three times to your office. It's got to be set up with them in advance. I didn't walk in the house. They wouldn't come back here. I haven't in 3 months. He refuses to bring me my It's still in there. He doesn't have to bring you anything. [Music] Get out of my way. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on a second. You're not You're not going anywhere. All right. Don't do it. I swear to God. Don't do it. Don't do it. You guys, I was just I was just in the hospital for 30 days. You can't do that.
