- When you think of a granny, you probably picture a sweet silver-haired lady handing out cookies and warm hugs. Well brace yourself because some grandmas are more likely to give you nightmares instead. - Today, Detective Dale is going to take us through five cases that prove that not all witches need broomsticks. Some just need a cranky voice and the convenient excuse of being elderly. - During my years of service, I've seen all kinds of characters, but I've never come across anyone who yells louder than a deranged grandma. - Don't tell me to calm down. Get in there. It is 911, get in there. police officers responded to a call about a woman who had completely lost it, causing utter chaos in the neighborhood. - Light on. He's in there. Don't ask me to tell you what the (bleep) going on. Don't tell me to calm down. Get in there. - [Officer] I never said a single word. I never said to calm down. I'm trying to figure out what's going on before I- - It is 911, get in there. - [Officer] There's no immediate emergency. - How do you know? - [Officer] He's sitting on the bed. - Yeah. Yeah. Oh my God. I swear to God, I'm already got a lawsuit. The last cop that was here got me upset and I was supposed to calm down. Go in there and you'll know why I'm- - [Officer] Why am I here? - Because I called 911 and I said, "Bring an ambulance, he needs medical care." - [Officer] So, an ambulance? So this isn't a law enforcement issue? - [Suspect] No, it isn't. The f**k it is. I've been told you all aren't qualified. And I did not need to be told that. No, I didn't. No, I'm not needed? Okay. Yep. I don't need your services. Nope. - [Officer] Hello, Jimmy. - [Suspect] No, his name's Timmy. - [Officer] What seems to be going on? - [Officer] What's going on, ma'am? - I told, I'm not explaining- - [Officer] Ma'am. ma'am. - Nothing's going on. - [Officer] Ma'am. Ma'am. - It's fine. - [Officer] Ma'am, ma'am- - I'm fine. - [Officer] Listen to me. You're screaming at 1:07 in the morning. - Yeah, I know. I haven't slept for four hours in five days. - [Officer] Okay, so let's just- - No, I'm not gonna answer a question. I just said nothing's going on. I just called 911 and you can arrest me for making a call that's not necessary. - [Officer] What for though? What for? - I'm not speaking. - [Officer] Okay. - [Suspect] I'm not speaking until my attorney's here. - [Officer] Okay. Call your attorney then. - [Suspect] Yes, you should. Because I'm not speaking unless my lawyer's here. That's right. Sorry, y'all aren't gonna get me this time. (indistinct chattering) - [Officer] Hey, stay right here. - [Suspect] It's my f*****g house. Don't you f*****g order me around. You won't take my order. You guys are getting sued like m***********s. My attorney's already on it. Look at my arm, sir. - [Officer] Ma'am. Ma'am. - [Suspect] F**k you. F**k you. F**k you. Am I gonna get arrested for battery on a LEO, 'cause that's... I'm not touching nobody. And I need you to move. I need you to move so I don't hit you. Back up? It's my house, back up. - [Officer] Are you threatening me? - Yeah, I am. Yeah, I'm f*****g threaten... Oh my God, if you... Oh my God. Timmy! - [Officer] Relax. Relax. - [Suspect] Oh my God. - [Officer] You're being placed under arrest. - [Suspect] Stop. - [Officer] Stop resisting. Stop resisting. - [Suspect] Oh my God. Oh my God. - [Officer] Assault on a law enforcement officer. You made a credible threat that you are going to do harm to a law enforcement officer. - [Suspect] Do you know that man's been threatening- - [Officer] Relax. - [Suspect] Oh my God. - [Officer] He's physically handicapped, I don't believe he can. - [Suspect] Okay. Okay. You're right. You're right. I'm not gonna resist. I'm not resisting arrest. - [Officer] Awesome. Here you go. - [Suspect] Jimmy, I'm getting arrested. Can you tell him what's going on? Oh my God. I'm in a f*****g nightmare. Oh my God. Oh my God. I'm so irate right now. I am, aren't I? Huh? I'm irate enough that I need to be arrested. - [Officer] Yep. - [Suspect] I've served him with legal papers. I have a case worker on it. I have a case worker on it. Don't go in my home. You're not allowed in home or you will be arrested for entering my home without a search warrant. - [Officer] Get inside. - That's really gonna f**k shut- - [Officer] Put your leg up. - I'm gonna put my leg up. I'm not gonna resist. I'm gonna show everybody how psychotic I am. Yeah, yeah. - [Officer] Sit down right here so I can put the seatbelt on for you, please. - [Suspect] I think you can reach it. Might get a broken arm, stretch a little. - [Officer] Get- - [Suspect] No, I'm not moving. - [Officer] All right, I'm not gonna put a seatbelt on. - [Suspect] I'm not- (Officers chatter indistinctly) - [Officer] Who is she to you? Just a neighbor? - She's a pain in my a*s. - [Officer] What did she bang on your door for? - Door, window. I don't know. She's been over at my house about four times today. - [Officer] Okay. Who's Jimmy to her? - This guy? - [Officer] Yeah. - Money. Tenant. - [Officer] So, brings in... Okay, he just lives there? - Yeah, he lives there and pays good money to live there. - [Officer] Okay. All right. - They've been there about three years. - [Officer] Is this recent that she's been doing this? - It's been going on for, I mean, like six months. - [Officer] Okay. Is he physically handicapped? Mentally handicapped? A bit of both? - Old, lazy. Can't get around. - [Officer] Okay. - She's been- - [Officer] Well, I only ask 'cause he's laying on pee pads, so like- - Yeah, bladder control. - [Officer] No, I understand that. - Yeah. No, but he wheelchairs around. The other day he was over here in his little sit down, wheel around thing. - [Officer] I gotcha. - Yeah, mentally he's there. Physically he needs some help. - [Officer] Okay. - That's what she's supposed to be doing. I don't know what the hell's going on with her with... Well, she's always been that way for eight years. - This granny picked a fight with an officer, demanded an attorney, and then threatened the cops. One can only imagine just how much the neighbors love her, right? Anyway, grandma big mouth got arrested and hauled off the station. But let's just say the poor cop driving had a rough ride. - [Police] 79732. 79732. (suspect speaking indistinctly) - [Suspect] I got beat down. I've got a broken arm. This lunatic's in there, but he's old and he's handicapped. Is that right? Is that what you told me when you arrested me? He can't help what he's doing. He's old and he's handicapped. Well, he's above my pay scale. He's a little above my professional help. (car door thuds) - [Officer] I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen. Okay? We're gonna open this door and we're gonna put your handcuffs back behind your back. - Okay? 'Cause I'm a threat right now. - [Officer] It doesn't matter if you're a threat. - Okay? - [Officer] Our policy is that you get handcuffed in the back. - Oh, okay. - [Officer] So if you slip your handcuffs again, I'm gonna take that as you're attempting to escape. - Okay. - [Officer] And then it's gonna be another criminal charge, okay? - Okay, yeah. - [Officer] So we're gonna open the door- - Okay. - [Officer] We're gonna be polite. - Yeah. - [Officer] We're not gonna attempt- - You've been polite so far. - [Officer] We're not gonna attempt to hit anybody- - Everybody's been real polite. - [Officer] [Okay. We're not gonna attempt to hit me or any of my officers and we're gonna fix your handcuffs and you're gonna stay that way, okay? - Okay. - [Officer] Go ahead and sit sideways for me. And then put your hands behind your back. - Okay. Do you see that arm? I just had five surgery... I refuse. - [Officer] Don't get out of the car. - I refuse. - [Officer] You refuse- - I refuse. - [Officer] Ma'am. - [Suspect] I'm refusing a arrest. Yes, I am. - [Officer] Okay, that's fine. - [Suspect] Yes, I am. Oh, you're damn right, I'm refusing arrest. I'm a resisting arrest. - [Officer] Okay. - [Suspect] You're probably gonna arrest me for battery on an officer, right? I got battery, that's why you just threw me in jail. For battery on a LEO. I got it. I understand. I understand. I'm trying to get my finger out. They should make it a little tighter. - [Officer] Well, we have to make it- - [Suspect] It's hurting my arms. - [Officer] We have to make it tighter so you don't get out again. - [Suspect] Okay. - [Officer] Hop back in the car. - [Suspect] Oh yeah, I'll do that. I'm in. My hands are behind (indistinct) I slapped him the other day, I actually spanked him. - [Officer] Who'd you spank? - [Suspect] I spanked him. - [Officer] Who? - [Suspect] Timmy. - [Officer] Who's Kenny? - [Suspect] I don't know. - [Officer] Who's Kenny? Who's Kenny? Who is Kenny? She got quiet pretty quick. - I think I'm very calm for somebody who just had their $210,000 house destroyed from a man that I've done nothing but catered to, cook, clean. I literally have been up all day washing about 20 towels, three times each. And I had to do it right away 'cause it was full of his feces that he s**t all over my thousand dollar mattress. But I'll be calm, because God, I don't want another charge. - [Officer] Oh, I know. I have my camera right there. - Is your body cam still on? (Officers speaking indistinctly) Officer? Is your body cam still on? - [Officer] Oh, heard. Okay. - I'm requesting that your body cam on. - [Officer] It's on. - But you don't have to do that. - [Officer] It's looking straight at you. - It's on and it's on. (officers chatter indistinctly) - [Officer] I just need you to fill out this victim sheet, just do your name and you don't have to put your birthday, just name (indistinct) Yeah, just your name, police department and address, phone number, that's it. - [Officer] Okay. - [Officer] Yep. I appreciate it, man. I had no problem taking it. (officers chatter indistinctly) - [Police] What's the Christian channel? Is that like 91.3? It might be a good ride song. - [Officer] Oh, yeah. 91.3. - Can I ask you a question? - [Officer] Thanks, bud. - Can I ask you a question? - [Officer] Have a wonderful night. - I'd like to know if every time every officer's been out there, do they all have body cams on? Is it a law? Is it required? Oh, I think if you don't answer me, you're in big trouble. I don't know, maybe if I ask you too many questions, you'll make that a charge. (officer speaks indistinctly) (indistinct radio chatter) - [Officer] I am 10-12 with my 10-15. I'll be 51 to the pumps. Then I'll be 51 to the Land O' Lakes Jail. (indistinct) (indistinct radio chatter) 79732, 79732. - Or walker and I wasn't supposed to let him dehydrate or get hungry. I was to go out and fix his food because I only let him go from the bedroom to the bathroom. He's not allowed to go anywhere else in my house. He's just allowed to scream and yell at me and throw things around his room and scream and yell at me to get out of his room. It's his room. It's not my room. He rents it. He's a renter that I've already legally evicted. (vehicle rattling) (indistinct police radio chattering) - [Police Radio] Okay, when you're close, give the jail a call. ♪ All the children of the world ♪ ♪ Red, yellow, black, and white ♪ ♪ Yay, the lord is my shepard, I shall not want ♪ (suspect singing indistinctly) - [Officer] Come on out. - I'm already out. - [Officer] Listen to that. - [Officer] Oh, yeah. - [Officer] What's the charge? - Assault on LEO. Resisting without. I think that was her last charge here too. - [Speaker] Ew, did someone throw up in here? - [Officer] No. (Officer speak indistinctly) - [Officer] Open the door? - [Officer] Do you need my keys? - [Officer] No. I asked him to close this door before. (suspect speaking indistinctly) - [Officer] You're cardio is pretty good, kicking my car the whole time. - [Suspect] Yep. - The granny was later found guilty of intimidation and threatening law enforcement with bodily harm, and resisting an officer without violence. Let's just hope the poor man living with her gets out of there fast. This case was quite the spectacle though. I must say, Grandmas behaving wildly is becoming all too common. - I'll tell you one thing. - [Officer] Do not. - You do not talk to me! - [Speaker] Come on, let's go! - Try then! a firefighter's wife took it upon herself to drive to the police station while intoxicated. Little did the officers know this woman would wreak havoc. - She's sergeant, officer, lieutenant something. Tracy, she's got two kids and stuff like that. I also called her yesterday and asked for a female officer. (Police speaks indistinctly) - Once again, you guys (beep) - [Officer] Why do you need a female? I'm trying to figure out- - Really? I called an hour ago. Be here by six and you'll have a female officer. - [Officer] Well, the call- - 'Cause you guys- - [Officer] We don't determine what 911 calls come out, ma'am. - It wasn't a 911 call. - [Officer] And that's why I'm here, I'm the available officer, so I'm here taking it. If you don't want that, I can't become a female. I don't know what to tell you. - But I asked them if I could have a female. - [Officer] And the female officer's tied up. - If you get here by six, you will. - [Officer] And there's a female officer that's doing something else. - What's your name? Let me get my phone number. - [Officer] Sergeant Flores, yeah, she's right there. She knows I'm out here talking to you. Despite the fact, because we don't have a female officer available. If we did, there'd be one here. But unfortunately there's not. - No, I was here. I was here by six. - [Officer] And the female officer's busy 'cause there's only one female officer on duty, unfortunately. I don't know what to tell you. - No, they said two, they said the officer Tracy- - [Officer] Tracy who? - Schultz or something, whatever her name was, She couldn't be here because (indistinct) and then they said they would have another one for me. - [Officer] Who's the other one? Tracy. Tammy. She was the one who was there. But one second you're saying you do, one second you're saying you don't. - Because she is a personal friend on Facebook and I did not want her to be involved in my personal problems. - [Officer] Okay. So she's not gonna take the report, I'm still taking the report 'cause I'm an officer. Sergeants don't take reports for beat cops. - Oh, so she won't take me. - [Officer] She won't take you because it's my job. It's not a supervisor's job to take a patrol officer's report. - So when I asked, she said that she wasn't gonna be there. And then I asked the other one. - [Officer] Who? - Do I have to? - [Police] How could you... Ask who? - You know, ask her. Let's go, let's go in here (indistinct) - [Officer] Okay. Please. You mother (bleep) wouldn't be able to last a day in Inglewood. Logan Square. You wouldn't live s**t. What? - [Officer] Okay, Lynn, let's go. Let's go. If you're done- - [Lynn] (bleep) you. - [Officer] If you want to walk, let's go. - Come on, baby. Yeah, you f- - [Officer] You've tangled. - [Officer] Watch out for your dog. Watch our for your dog. - [Officer] Toby's tangled. - I'll tell you one thing. - [Officer] Do not. Do not - You do not talk to me. - [Officer] Stop, You do not try that. You do not try that, okay? Let's go. - [Officer] Come on, let's go, walk out. - Driving? - [Officer] Do not... Come on, get your dog- - (beep) you. You think I'm gonna sit there in the car and you're gonna pinch me? You f*****g s**t- - [Officer] Let's go Lynn. - I'm walking. - [Officer] That's fine. Come on, Lynn. All right, Lynn. So, would you like a copy of the Illinois domestic violence- - [Lynn] You know what you do? (Lynn spitting) - [Police] And she spit on my hand. - The police officer had been nothing but respectful and considerate up to that point. However, this hateful grandma didn't leave him much of a choice. Her little spit was going to cost her a lot more than she'd anticipated. - [Officer] You spit on the officer's hand when you spit on that sheet. - [Speaker] Yep. - [Lynn] I spit on the paper. - [Officer] You missed and you hit my hand. - [Lynn] Oh my God. Can I see a- - [Officer] Yep. - [Officer] We're past that. - [Lynn] A body camera. - [Police] Okay, we're good. - [Lynn] You touch my dog... - [Officer] Okay. Let's move her inside. - [Lynn] You're walking her inside. You little (bleep) - [Officer] Hold up. Do you have anything on you that's gonna poke us? - [Lynn] Oh, I wish I did. I wish I did. - [Officer] Don't move. Don't move. - [Officer] Hold on. (Officers chatter indistinctly) - [Officer] Come on, buddy. - [Officer] Okay. - [Lynn] (indistinct) Yeah, it's him. It's my dog. I'll (bleep) - [Officer] Let's go ahead and put you against the wall so you don't move. - Oh god, you're a baby. - [Officer] Hold on. - [Lynn] You're a baby. - [Officer] Can we just get a female to search her? - [Officer] Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. - [Officer] Can somebody get the dog? - [Lynn] What are you gonna do to my dog? - [Officer] Okay, you can pat her down. Do you wanna take my spot? - [Officer] Yeah. - [Officer] Okay, cool. (background officers chattering) - [Lynn] Where's my dog? Where's my dog? - [Officer] Right here. Lynn, come down, he's right here. He's right here. - [Lynn] Yeah, are you my (bleep) goddamn (bleep) Are you the one? - [Sergeant Schultz] What are you talking about? - [Lynn] Yeah, Sergeant... - [Police] Tammy Schultz. - [Lynn] Tracy? Yeah. - Tammy Schultz. - Thanks. - Okay. - Thanks for taking on, John. - What are you talking about? I just got here, I don't know anything about anything. - [Lynn] Right. Well, why don't you sit down a minute? - Okay, all right. Calm down. - [Lynn] Why don't you talk to me? - I will. I'm talking to you right now, but calm down, don't be yelling. - Yeah, you helped Jim. - I haven't been helping anybody, I just got here. (all speak indistinctly) - [Sergeant Schultz] I have no idea. - [Officer] Yeah, I got you. - [Officer] Thanks, man. - [Lynn] Give me my dog. Get my dog! - [Sergeant Schultz] Lynn, I'm going to. Hey, come on, here. - [Officer] Shall we? - [Officer] Come back here, (indistinct) - Get the (bleep) (indistinct) Okay, if I break my leg- Break my leg. - Lynn. Lynn. Lynn, shhhh. Calm down a second, please. - Where's my dog? - I'm gonna get your dog, but I'm talking to you now, okay? I can't get- - Get these (bleep) out of here. - Okay, just calm down. Stop acting like that. There's no reason to act like that. - Get my dog. - I will, but you have to calm down. - [Lynn] Get my phone, show me. If you- - Do you have anything in- - [Lynn] Break my leg, I will sue you. - [Sergeant Schultz] Lynn. Lynn. - Are you getting a high off this? Are you? (indistinct) - [Sergeant Schultz] Lynn, please. - [Lynn] Oh, this mother (bleep). - [Sergeant Schultz] Hey, Lynn, come on. Lynn. Lynn, stop. - [Officer] You're not gonna do that. Just stop. - Let me go! - [Officer] Then stop trying to fight. - F**k you, you little s**t. - Okay, do you need to do anything? - [Officer] So I have the initial domestic. - Uh-huh. - [Officer] So the only thing is I can't call review because I'm the victim. - Okay, yeah. - [Lynn] Get my dog! - She drove here, her car is half-a*s parked out there and there's alcohol. I can't tell if it's open container. - [Officer] Okay. - So if it could be said that she drove here. - [Officer] Yeah. (Officer speaks indistinct) - [Officer] Well, I had Ashley looking for the video anyway- - Yeah. - [Officer] To see if we could have the video of her pulling in. - [Officer] We'll work on that right now. - [Lynn] There's no coppers, there's no report. He's euthanizing my dog. - [Officer] Hey, Lynn, Lynn, relax your hand. - [Officer] He is not doing that. - [Lynn] No, but you know he's a liar. - [Officer] Relax your hand, okay? - And then he said I had a DUI? You know he's lying. A cop has to pull me over and (bleep) arrest me on site if I had a DUI. - [Officer] Hold it there for now. - You know it. You guys can't even (bleep) help me. - [Officer] Sit down, please. - (bleep) you. - [Officer] Sit down. - Oh, if I break my legs, you're going to jail. - [Officer] That is on you. - [Lynn] Where was the report? - [Officer] I'm sure it's still getting typed. - Really? - [Officer] Yeah. - And they're gonna euthanize him? - [Officer] I didn't say that. - Why isn't he in the 10 day hold, the dog? I spit on a piece of paper. - [Officer] Hey, Lynn. - What? - [Officer] I'm hearing what you're saying- - Then how did a dog, 13 pounds, bite an officer? - [Officer] I wasn't there. I couldn't tell you. - Then how could it happen? How? - Things can happen when I'm not there. - Tammy took the dog out. The dog wasn't even near him. And you all know it. Have a conscience. The dog didn't do nothing. I did. I did. And now they're gonna euthanize him? - [Officer] I didn't say that they're gonna euthanize him. - You said they weren't? - [Officer] No, I said they're doing a 10 day hold. That's per their policy when a dog bites somebody. - Show me, show my husband. - [Officer] Okay, other officers can handle that right now because I gotta handle you. - Why? - [Officer] Because I gotta- - Because you're an animal hater? - [Officer] I actually love animals. - (bleep) you, you don't. God almighty. Saint Francis of Assisi is gonna (bleep) bury you. - [Officer] Ugh, Lynn. - And you. - [Officer] Are you threatening me? - Saint Francis of Assisi. It's a patriot saint of animals. That is gonna bury you. Who? Is that a threat? - [Officer] Yes. - Oh my God. That's like saying God is gonna harm you. That's a threat? - [Officer] Are you threatening me? That's what I'm asking. - No. - It's tough to resist reacting to entitled individuals, but police officers encounter such people every day. His ability to maintain composure truly highlights his professionalism. - [Officer] All right, I'm gonna read you your Miranda rights. All right? - Finally. - [Officer] Finally, right? We're finally at this point. - Finally. - [Officer] All right, you have the right to remain silent- - Oh my God, if any of these (bleep) things- - [Officer] Anything you say can and will be used against you. - Any of these (bleep) cameras, audios disappear, you guys are gonna go down. You never read me my remanda rights. - [Officer] Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. - Yeah. Yada, yada, yada, go. - [Officer] You have the right to talk with a lawyer and have him or her present- - Take me to a psych ward. - [Officer] While you are being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed- - Why don't you live upon him? - [Officer] Before questioning, if you wish. - [Lynn] Live with him. - [Officer] Do you understand those? - Beat me. - [Officer] Do you understand these? - Do you beat your wife? - [Officer] Do you understand these rights? - Do you beat my wife? Oh, you're not married either. None of you are. - [Officer] Do you understand these rights? - Because you're sick. - [Officer] Do you understand your rights? - I don't know. - [Officer] Do you want me to read them again? - I'm crazy. - [Officer] Do you wanna read them yourself? - No. - [Officer] Would you like to talk to me about the events that happened regarding earlier with the other officer and your dog? - I'll talk to the psychiatrist. - [Officer] Okay. That's totally fine. - Don't get married. - [Officer] Don't get married? I've heard that quite a lot. - Oh, there's the queen bee. - [Sergeant Schultz] Hey. - Oh, so my dog's gonna be euthanized? - [Sergeant Schultz] No, it's not. Toby's fine. - Did he not say? - I never said that. I did not say they were going to euthanize him. - Wait, wait, wait. He did bite somebody? When you had him in your possession, that he bit somebody? - [Sergeant Schultz] Yeah, he was getting him out of the kennel and he nicked him. - [Lynn] He was (bleep) traumatized. - [Officer] Maybe there's some miscommunication. - [Lynn] God bless you. (indistinct) - So if I wanna charge her with threatening a public official, then I'd have to call a felony review again? - [Officer] They haven't called back yet. - [Officer] Okay, perfect. - [Officer] (indistinct) add it to it. - [Officer] What's that? - [Officer] We'll just add it to it. - [Officer] Okay, so when then when they call me back- - [Officer] Then you say you have additional charge. - [Officer] Okay, for sure. (officer speaks indistinctly) - [Officer] Sweet. Thanks, man. - First thing comes to first. First thing. And they told me that I was arrested for (bleep) DUI. There was no copper. I wasn't behind a car wheel. I did nothing. Nothing. How can you get arrested when you're not behind a wheel of the car? Oh God, yeah, sure. Yeah, 5'2, 145, I'm gonna kill ya. Goddamn, I hate you. (officers chatter indistinctly) What do you want? - [Officer] I want you to walk around so you can take a seat. - Oh, thank God (bleep) (indistinct) not here. - [Officer] It could be arranged. - [Lynn] (bleep) you. - Swing your feet up. - [Officer] Come on. - Swing your feet up. - [Officer] You guys want her one cuff on the- - [Officer] Yeah. - [Officer] Sweet. (bed motor whirring) - [Officer] Take this one off really quick. Actually, hold on. Go over there and then unhandcuff this one. Cuff it to that. Sarge, can you toss me those cuffs? Take this one off and then- - [Officer] Nah, the handles good. - Wow, this is something else. (officers chattering indistinctly) God almighty. Wow. Man, you guys treat me worse than cops. Worse than cops. - [Officer] Can you sit back so that we can put your seatbelt on? - Absolutely, officer. - [Officer] Thank you very much. - [Officer] Welcome to the team, man. - [Officer] New career. - [Officer] Am I hired? - [Officer] Yes, you are. - Big time (indistinct) You just think about that. - [Officer] I will. I'm sorry (indistinct). - [Lynn] Don't let them do nothing to my dog. Do you hear me? - [Setgant Schultz] Nope, your dog is fine. I'll make sure- - [Officer] And my guinea pig and my parrot. - [Sergeant Schultz] Okay. - Thank you. Ooh, we're gonna have a good day tomorrow in court. And I'll make sure they get the tapes, the audio. The audio, the tapes, and also the (bleep) goddamn car that I was driving. Some invisible human being that I got a ticket for, that I never even got. Oh, this will be fun. Somebody (bleep) up big time. He had DUI. Really, with who? Oh, and I get the paperwork tomorrow. I wasn't even above the limit. Man, you guys are (bleep) That's okay. I could use the money anyway from the settlement. - [Speaker] Okay. - [Lynn] (bleep) - [Speaker] Yeah, okay. - [Speaker] Okay. (bleep) - [Speaker] Yeah, that was in booking. - (bleep) God, you love that (bleep) - [Officer] Can you relax your arm, please? Relax. - Yes, that's fine. - No, I need it by your wrist. - (bleep) (bleep) McGregor's gonna get you. Do you know what that means? - [Officer] No, I don't. - How about Tyson? How about Holyfield? (bleep) McGregor? - [Officer] Are you alluding to something? - Yeah, I'm alluding. I would love to see that. - The woman was charged with DUI, resisting a peace officer, and aggravated battery to a peace officer. It's often the family that bears the brunt. But just imagine the toll such individuals can take on their children. Like the woman in the next case. - [Officer] You snorted the pills, right? - Yes. - [Officer] Okay. What did you use to snort them with? - A straw. - [Officer] A straw? - Yeah. officers responded to a call from a resident reporting a woman who'd used substances behaving erratically. It turned out that the caller was actually the woman's own kin, fed up with her mother's antics. - [Speaker] It ain't the man (indistinct) how've you been? - [Officer] Same old, same old, how you been? - [Speaker] Oh, better nights. - [Officer] What's going on? - [Speaker] So her mom's been clinically claimed as a psychotic. Like she needs to take pills and stuff like that. - [Officer] Okay. - [Speaker] And when she does it, she gets really, really bad. - [Officer] Okay. - [Speaker] So it was a night, man. I felt like she was building a house in there last night. - [Officer] Really? - [Speaker] Oh, man. She didn't even know she was on the toilet, when we woke up. - [Officer] Okay. - [Suspect] I hid my pistol and everything like that. So that way if we did have to go to work- - [Officer] Is she in there now? - [Speaker] Yeah. I don't know how she's gonna react to seeing you. - [Officer] All right. I'll go talk to her and see. - [Speaker] So hopefully everything goes good. - [Officer] Okay. Hi, Loretta? - Hi. - [Officer] How are you? - All right. All right. - [Officer] Are you having a bad day? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm all right. - [Officer] Okay. - Stressed out. I'm really stressed out. - [Officer] Okay. That's okay. - Yeah. - [Officer] All right. So what's stressing you out? - I've just had bad nerves lately and life in general, you know what I'm saying? - [Officer] Mm-hm, yeah. - I have anxiety really bad and stuff (indistinct) - [Officer] You have what? - Anxiety. - [Officer] Anxiety? Okay. - And the last couple days it's been really bad and stuff. - [Officer] Okay. All right. Are you taking any medication for it? - I mean, I just took my medicine. I need it sometimes to avoid that. - [Officer] Okay. All right. (Loretta speaks indistinctly) Do you have any, like, are you getting any chest pains with that or anything? - No. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm stressed out, really stressed out. - [Officer] Okay, all right. Let me ask you this, besides being stressed out, which is okay, that's understandable, I got anxiety too, you don't have any (bleep) thoughts or anything like that? - Oh, no, no. - [Officer] Okay. So you don't want to hurt yourself, you're just having a bad day? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. Do you- - I kind of have mental, you know what I mean? But I'm all right. - [Officer] Okay. - I took my medicine. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm really stressed out. - [Officer] Okay. Let me ask you, have you taken any other kind of recreational- - No. - [Officer] D***s that kind of help with it? - No. - [Officer] Okay. All right. - No, I'm okay. - [Officer] All right. - I give you my word. (sniffling) - [Officer] Okay. - I just need somewhere, I need some peace and quiet, you know what I mean? - [Officer] Okay. All right. - Oh my gosh. - [Officer] Do you want me to just have the squad to come check you out, make sure your heart and all that's good? - No, no I'm okay. - [Officer] Okay. - I give you my word. (indistinct) I took my medicine, I just need a little peace and quiet, you know what I mean? - [Officer] Okay. - I really (sobbing) - [Officer] Okay. All right. How about we go outside and get some fresh air and talk, all right? And then I'll get out of your hair here in a second. Okay? - You can't take me, are you? - [Officer] No, I'm not taking you. - [Loretta] You promise? - [Officer] I have no reason to take you. Just get outside, get some fresh air. The main reason is cigarette smoke kind of bothers me, so if we're outside it kind of makes me feel a little better. You all right? Bad knee? - Yeah, I had two hip replacements. - [Officer] Oh. - [Loretta] Yeah, both of them. (indistinct) - [Officer] Okay. - [Loretta] Don't do it to me. - [Officer] Huh? - Please don't do it to me. - [Officer] They're not doing nothing to you. - [Shania] Go outside. - [Officer] We're gonna go outside and get some fresh air. - Yeah you are, Shania. Shania, please don't do it to me. - [Shania] Let's go outside. - Please, please don't do it to me. - [Officer] Hey, Loretta. Loretta, she's not doing nothing to you. We're just talking, okay? You said you don't wanna hurt yourself. You said you- - Why can't we talk in the bedroom? - [Officer] Huh? - Why can't we talk in the bedroom? - [Officer] Because I don't like cigarette smoke. - I'll put it out. - [Officer] Okay. - Please. - [Officer] All right. - I'm sorry. (indistinct) - [Officer] Okay. - I had two hip replacements on both legs. and I got a bad back, cartridge missing and stuff- - [Officer] Okay. Well, do me a favor and put that out so I don't have to smell it. - I'm sorry. My gosh. (sniffling) My nerves are bad. - [Officer] I understand. Well, I was gonna let you smoke it if you went outside. I didn't care if you smoked it, I just don't wanna be stuck in the house breathing in it. - Yeah. - [Officer] Let me- (Loretta sniffling) Loretta? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - [Officer] I'm not trying to tell your business, okay. But listen, I've been doing this for 21 years, okay? All right? I believe you've probably taken something on top of your prescribed medication. Listen, listen to me. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - [Officer] I'm not here to bust you for it or anything like that, but- - I haven't taken anything since I got here. - [Officer] Okay. But, it will explain why you're acting the way you are, okay? (Loretta coughs) - I know I had nothing today. I mean, I have this week, but not today. - [Officer] Okay. - I did this week, and I usually don't, I quit doing it. (sobbing) - [Officer] I understand. Okay, listen, listen. I'm assuming- - I don't touch it anymore. - [Officer] Listen, listen to me. Was it m**h? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. Did you snort it? Smoke it? - I snort it. - [Officer] Snort it, okay. All right, listen, how long ago was it? - It was three days ago. - [Officer] Okay. Well see, that has a long lingering effect. That explains why you're fidgety, you can't sit still, your anxiety is through the roof. It creates all that, okay? - I got a lot going on. I've been staying with my mom and dad- - [Officer] I understand. I'm not questioning you have a lot going on, I'm just trying to get down to the bottom of why you're behaving the way you are, okay? - I'm okay. I'm really all right. I took my medicine, I just want to lay down and sleep. - [Officer] Okay. But you gotta understand their concern. Like, they've probably seen this before. You have a history of it and you know, you've relapsed and it happens, all right? It's not the end of the world, all right. My only concern is that you don't wanna hurt yourself. You don't wanna hurt anyone else. - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. (Loretta panting) - It's a long story. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm sorry, I'm just stressed out. - [Officer] Loretta, I'd be more than happy, if you wanna go to the hospital and get checked, we can make that arrangement. You're not gonna go to jail, you're not in any trouble. I just wanna make sure I get the right help for you, okay? And if you're having adverse effects from using, they can help with that, okay? They can help calm you and take care of you. All right? - Yeah. - [Officer] Is that something you'd wanna- - No, I'm all right. I'll be all right. I'm really crying and upset, made worse because she got upset and crying. - [Officer] Well, you gotta understand that this upsets them, you know? That's your daughter, right? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. Well, it's hard to see their mom like this and you know- - I know. (sniffling) - [Officer] You know. - The woman was clearly extremely stoned. The officer attempted to reason with her, but she was having none of it. One can only sympathize with her daughter, who must have been devastated seeing her mother in such a state. - I've just been really, really stressed out the last couple of days. - [Officer] Okay. All right. Let me ask you, is that the straw? - [Loretta] Yeah. Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. You don't have any more? - [Loretta] No. - [Officer] You said you just snorted it? - Yeah. - [Officer] You said it was about two, three days ago? - Yes. - [Officer] All right. How long have you been clean before that? - Seven months. - Seven? - Oh yeah. Yeah. - [Officer] So, and then just things, stressors just made you go back? (Loretta speaks indistinctly) Okay. Well, I mean, the purity of it can affect you differently. - But I'm all right (indistinct) told me something was wrong with me. You know what I mean? But it wasn't. I mean, I was just in the bathroom on the toilet. (indistinct) was sitting on the toilet and she got upset. - [Officer] Mm-hm. - I'm fine. I took my medicine, but I don't take them like your supposed to sometimes and I get a little... You know what I mean? - [Officer] Mm-hmm. - Because I've go acute psychosis and stuff. So, and sometimes I forget to take my medicine and it acts up, you know, you know what I mean? My head gets stirring and stuff. But I took my medicine last night and I took my medicine this morning. So, and we got into each other crying and got my nerves worked up, you know what I mean? (sniffling) Oh, lord. - [Officer] Okay. Okay. - I'm fine. - [Officer] All right. So I'm gonna have you walk outside with me so I can get rid of this. And I'm gonna decide what I'm gonna do with this, okay? You may get a ticket, you may not. All right? I appreciate your cooperation. I'm gonna take that in consideration, all right? You don't have to get in the car, what I want you to do is just stand in front of it for me, okay? So I need to make sure I get this secured. Okay? (Loretta sobbing) Come on. (Loretta mumbling) You can leave those in there. You're not gonna get- - Are you sure I won't go to jail or anything? - [Officer] I don't know. I'm not gonna take you to jail for a straw. Let's just go outside so I can get this secured. - [Loretta] Shania, please. - [Officer] Loretta. Let's go this way. Come on. - [Shania] Please, mom. - [Officer] We're only going outside. Don't make this worse. - Please, Shania, don't do this to me. Please. God, do not do this to me. - [Shania] Mom. - [Officer] Stop. (indistinct) resisting. - [Loretta] You gave me your word, man. - [Officer] Come on. (Lorette sobbing) Stop. - [Loretta] Oh, God. - [Officer] Stop, stop. - [Loretta] Okay.(sobbing) - [Officer] Okay? - [Loretta] Yeah. - [Officer] All right. Stand up for me. - [Loretta] Please, can I have a cigarette? - [Officer] Come on. Well, you could have until you did this. - [Loretta] Please, please. Oh, God. I can't believe you did it to me. - [Officer] Come on. - [Loretta] I love you (indistinct) - [Shania] I love you, that's why I did it. - [Officer] Stand up and walk. - [Loretta] Can you put your cigarettes there? (indistinct) - [Officer] Come on. - [Loretta] Oh, God. I can't believe you did this to me. - [Officer] Come on. - [Loretta] Oh, God. (Loretta sobbing) Oh, God. - [Officer] (indistinct) it'll be one female, 21. (Loretta whimpering) Come on. - [Loretta] Please, I'm serious. - [Officer] No, not now. - [Loretta] Pretty please. - [Officer] No. - [Loretta] Get my purse, please. I beg you, man. (radio beeps) - [Officer] Negative. No, you can't now. - [Loretta] I beg you, man. (indistinct) - [Officer] You can't now. - Pretty please, I beg you. I beg you, please. That's my pain medicine. That's mine. My legs are killing me. Oh, God. - [Officer] Do you got another straw in your pocket? - [Loretta] I don't think so. - [Officer] Rob, do you had gloves on you? Just stop. Stop, I'll get it. - My nerves bad. Can I just have one cigarette, please? - [Officer] No, I was going to, but you wanted to act silly. - [Loretta] Pretty please. Oh my God. I'm being honest with you about everything. - [Officer] Have a seat in there. (Loretta whimpering) (car door thuds) - [Speaker] We got all of her medication in that bag? - [Officer] Okay. - [Speaker] Did you go need to look for anything else? - [Officer] Yeah, she admitted to using (bleep) It was obvious that's what she was, you know, on. But, how long has she been here? - We just got her here last night. - [Officer] Okay. All right. She said it was about two, three days ago, which is very possible. M**h lingers. She didn't so much had the psychosis, but she couldn't sit still. She, you know, all the other signs were there. - [Shania] It's really hard because like she misses windows for medicine, it's like she's on d***s. - [Officer] Yeah. - [Shania] She's crazy and she kept us up all night. She kept saying Terry this, Terry's here, Terry's gonna talk to you. And she's dangerous, and this is on like the first stage. - [Officer] Yeah. She said... well, the straw was laying right there that she used to snort it. But, you know, I'm gonna take her to Claremont Mercy. They can give her some medication to kind of give an adverse effect of the (bleep) And then I'll file some charges on her for the straw and her not complying. - [Speaker] She did (bleep) in the house last night? - [Officer] She did not say where she did it. She said two, three days ago. Which is very possible. Just because she's acting like that now doesn't mean it didn't happen two, three days ago, 'cause- - [Shania] She was at my grandma's all last week. - [Officer] Okay. - [Shania] That's exactly why I don't want her over there. - [Officer] Yeah. So it's very possible she did it here. I assume she probably did, or if not, she was using straw to snort her prescribed medication. - [Shania] I know that she does. - [Officer] Yeah. But she did say she used (bleep) but that was like two, three days ago. So if she wasn't here then, probably not. So, I'm gonna take her to Claremont so they can treat her and then I'll file charges now. When she gets treated at Claremont, until the charges are filed, you know she'll be able to go wherever she wants. So I don't know if you guys don't want her here, I'll tell her she's not to come back. This is not a residence, she's only been here one night, so you just let me know how you wanna handle that. But you know- (Shania speaks indistinctly) So that's kind of where we're at at this point. And then, you know, we'll go from there. She'll have some charges to answer for at court, but that's about it. - [Loretta] Yeah. Yeah. - [Officer] So are you snorting your prescribed medication too? - [Loretta] Sometimes, yeah. - [Officer] Sometimes? Okay. And then you used the one straw that was on the plate to- - [Loretta] Yeah. Yeah. (indistinct radio chatter) - [Officer] Okay. All right. (indistinct) I'm gonna read this to you real quick. - [Loretta] Okay. - [Officer] Have you ever been read your rights before? - [Loretta] Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. So you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand that? - Yeah. - So the straw that was on the plate, that I seen in the room, was the one that you snorted (bleep) with? - No. - [Officer] Okay. - I snorted pills with it. - [Officer] You snorted the pills with it? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. What did you use to snort the (bleep) with? - A straw. - [Officer] A straw? - Yeah. - [Officer] Right. One of these? (Loretta speaks indistinctly) You had three white ones and two black ones. - [Loretta] Where was those at? - [Officer] Huh? - [Loretta] Where was those at? - [Officer] In your bag. - Oh, really? - [Officer] Yeah. - Oh. They just been extra in my bag for while. - [Officer] Okay. Where were you at when you did the (bleep) - I'd rather not say. - [Officer] You'd rather not say? - Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. Well, let me ask you, were you here or was it prior to getting here? - No, prior to getting here. - [Officer] Prior to getting here? - [Loretta] Yeah. - [Officer] Okay. - It was like a day or two before coming here. - [Officer] Okay. So, I mean, do you typically always snort your pills? - No, not really. - [Officer] Did you snort any today? - No. (sniffling) - [Officer] Okay. All right. - No, I forgot all about those (indistinct) - The woman was charged with possession of paraphernalia and resisting arrest. - Man, this case just broke my heart. I truly feel for the daughter. And as for the mother, let's hope she gets the treatment she needs. If she weren't in such a state, she might have been a much different person. But brace yourself for the women in the next case because she is at the definition of insufferable. - [Ms. Olrich] Oh look, she's walking with me. No look it, she's walking. - [Officer Healy] Ma'am. dispatch received a rather riveting call from a restaurant owner reporting that a woman had feasted on $34 worth of food without settling the bill. When the police arrived, the woman was anything but cooperative. The cops knew there and then that this woman would take every ounce of their energy to be brought under control. - Well, I mean, she'd run off basically and she cursed out my staff and said, "I don't have any money." She's starting asking for money from the customers, my manager told her, "You cannot do that," and then she just walked away. And I was following her and she would just be cursing me out like, "You're crazy, go to hell." Anyways, those were the insults. And I was just gonna propose to her, look, bring the money back tomorrow. Give me something. Like I said, I don't care about the $34. I've got employees that are stealing from me right now. I'm gonna be watching camera. I mean, I've got so much- - [Officer Healy] It's the principle - At this point, I'm just tired of people stepping on my toes and just backstabbing me, employees as well as customers. - [Officer Healy] Of course. - And now I'm putting in a state-of-the-art 16 camera system. Then I'm gonna put another one in there just on top of that because I'm just over it. So yeah, this is the lovely lady. She's sitting under the gazebo. I think she's mentally ill to be honest with you. - [Officer Healy] Can you text me that? - [Victim] Absolutely. - [Officer Healy] All right, so ultimately you'd rather just have her pay back the money than have her arrested? Is that about the sum of it? - She has no money, I bet you she won't have any license or- - [Officer Healy] Yeah. - She was telling people, "I don't have any social security card." I'm like, "Nobody wants your social..." Right, she's just mentally ill. Do I want her to go to jail? No, but I mean, it's not even about the money, it's the whole principle of it. I don't know what... She's probably gonna curse you out. I don't think she's mentally there. - [Officer Healy] Okay. - I don't know why my staff even served her, like they should have come to... Normally, they come, like this person is like really acting weird, what should we do? They went through the whole process of serving her, refilling the soda, so. - [Officer Healy] Yeah, let me go have a talk with her. She's under the gazebo, right there? I'm officer Healy, (indistinct) police department. Miss? Okay, all right, ma'am. - [Speaker] What do you want do here? - [Officer Healy] Ma'am? Ma'am? Nope, nope. Ma'am, stop. Stop. Stop. - [Ms. Olrich] Get away from me. - [Officer Healy] Stop - [Ms. Olrich] Get away from me. Stay away from me. - [Officer Healy] Okay, I'm gonna have to put hands on you. - [Ms. Olrich] No, you're not. Get away from me. Get away from me. - [Officer Healy] Stop. What part of stop- - [Ms. Olrich] To hell with you people. (dog barking) Look at these people getting away with this stuff. (dog barking) - [Officer Healy] Well, if you'd like to have a civil conversation, we can do that. - [Ms. Olrich] Civil conversation. (police radio chattering) - [Officer Healy] Okay, do you have any ID on you? (police radio chattering) - [Ms. Olrich] I have nothing. - [Officer Healy] Stop. - [Ms. Olrich] Get away from me. - [Officer Healy] Stop. - Probably because no one feels obliged to assist an entitled person lady, the woman clearly thought she could get her way by playing the sympathy card, but when none of her antics worked, she came up with a different strategy. - See, everybody goes, they're not concerned about me and not jail. - You wanna take this? Or are you just thinking about what to do here? - [Officer Healy] I'm thinking about my course of action. (Ms. Olrich scoffs) What good is served? Let's walk her to the car. I'll take her, you grab her stuff. - (indistinct) a big shot here. I told everybody I want to be... I remember you Mr. Healy. - [Officer Healy] Okay? - You were in the Land O' Lakes jail. - [Officer Healy] Okay, young lady, we're gonna walk to my car. - (indistinct) anyway. Is it... Oh, oh, look at she's walking with me. - [Officer Healy] Okay. - [Ms. Olrich] Look it. Oh look, she's walking. - [Officer Healy] Ma'am. - [Officer] Standby, I'm putting this over there and I'll come back. Are you gonna be okay for a second? - [Officer Healy] Yep. - [Officer] All right. You wanna bring your car over? - [Officer] Yeah. (indistinct) - [Officer Healy] Ma'am, just stand up. - [Ms. Olrich] I am already under arrest. - [Officer Healy] You're not. - [Ms. Olrich] Yes, I am. - [Officer Healy] You're in handcuffs. - [Ms. Olrich] Uh-huh, and that's it, you people put that on me. The hell with you, putting these things on me. - [Officer Healy] Ma'am, just stand up. - [Ms. Olrich] I'm not standing up no more. (indistinct) - [Officer Healy] Okay. - [Ms. Olrich] You are lying. - [Officer Healy] Okay. (bleep) (bleep) (police radio chattering) - [Ms. Olrich] Shut the hell up. Put me in jail, five months, two months, one month, and then the whole year. You finally let me out five months ago, and what? I can't get any help anywhere. - Ms. Olrich, I'm gonna help you up, okay? I'm gonna help you to your butt and then we'll go from your butt to your feet. All right. I don't want your shoulder to be hurt, are you ready? - [Ms. Olrich] Oh, here we go. My shoulder's been broken already by a black man in that jail. - [Officer] All right, we're gonna walk backwards. Can you go forward? You good? All right, cool. - [Ms. Olrich] Cool. Go to hell put me in a dog car? - [Officer] Hang on, I'm checking. - [Ms. Olrich] To hell with you stinkin' people. I don't have any ID or money. What are you looking for, money? I don't have any money. - [Officer] We're just making sure you don't have any weapons or any set of keys or anything like that. - [Ms. Olrich] Oh, you're an (bleep). (bleep) you. Any weapons. (scoffs) Stinkin' Who gets pat down here? Get them ladies in there pat you down in the jailhouse. - [Officer] Are those gonna be closed enough or should we clamp them a little more? - [Ms. Olrich] Double locked. Listen to the garbage these guys are saying. Double locked. Sit around and wait in these police cars (indistinct) news. - [Officer] All right. - [Ms. Olrich] I can't sit there, I am old. I can't sit down fast like this. - This has more room than mine. You just turn around and you put your butt down. - [Ms. Olrich] No. - [Officer Healy] Okay. Ma'am, this can either be easy or not so easy. - [Ms. Olrich] Go to hell! Go to hell! Go to hell! - [Officer] Watch your head. - [Ms. Olrich] (bleep) you. - [Officer] Watch your leg. - I put this stuff, if you wanna look at it real quick? - [Officer Healy] Yeah, where is it? - It's all in there. - [Officer Healy] In the trunk? - [Ms. Olrich] What do we care lady, it's your lot, you're the one that's stuck in it. We don't care. Nobody cares about nobody. (police radio chattering) That's for sure. (police radio chattering) - [Officer Healy] Go ahead on up the stairs. - I don't wanna walk up the stairs. I don't wanna go up there. - [Officer Healy] Ma'am. - I don't wanna walk up there. - [Officer Healy] All right, do not walk away. Walk up the stairs. This could be easy. - [Ms. Olrich] I'm 63 years old, (indistinct) - [Officer Healy] This could be easy, but you wanna make it difficult. - This could be easy. It is easy for you. You're being nasty to me. It's easy to be nasty. That's for sure. It's easy to be nasty. See? (foot thuds on door) - [Officer Healy] Stop. (foot thuds door) Stop. - [Ms. Olrich] Ow! - [Officer Healy] Get up. - [Ms. Olrich] Ow! (Ms. Olrich wailing) - [Officer Healy] Ma'am. (Ms. Olrich wailing) (Ms. Olrich speaks indistinctly) - What's going on, ma'am? (woman shouting indistinctly) - She was kicking the door, I pulled her back. - [Ms. Olrich] You're horrible people. You're horrible. Oh, God. - Hold up, let me get a wheelchair. (Ms. Olrich wailing) - [Ms. Olrich] Go away. Go away. (Ms. Olrich wailing) - The woman was charged with resisting arrest, and theft. But there's something about entitled ladies and their voices. Why does it always sound like they've got a load of cigars stuck in their throats? Just consider this woman up next, for example. - Just stop touching me. Stop touching me. The guy wasn't speaking with me to give me my $32.50. And you all carry me. police were called to a store about a trespasser. The trespasser in question, was a woman named Martha. Here's the twist. Martha was already well known to the police, having been repeatedly asked not to return due to her disruptive behavior. Little did the officers know that this time, Martha was about to turn the entire situation into a full-blown fiasco. - [Officer] Hello. - [Speaker] Hello. - [Officer] What can I do for you? Is she still here? - [Speaker] I think so. - [Speaker] Where's she at? - [Officer] I see her car out there, I didn't see her inside here. - [Speaker] She's somewhere inside. - [Officer] So we don't know where she's at right now though? - [Speaker] No, she's gotta be in the store somewhere. - [Officer] I'll start searching. Ah, Martha? - [Martha] Yes. - Hi. They want you to leave. - Okay. - [Officer] Okay, they don't want you to trespass, okay? - Okay, no problem. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm leaving. I'm gonna pay for what I have. - [Officer] No, no, no. You gotta go now. They don't want you to pay for anything. - Not this? - [Officer] No, you just leave right there. Yeah, that's fine. - Okay. - [Officer] You wanna just come to my car and I'll give you a trespass, and get you out of here, okay? - I don't need to get trespassed by you. It's okay, I no come in no more here. - [Officer] Okay. Well, you are trespassed, so. Okay, so I don't have to give you the piece of paper, just so you know- - [Martha] It's because of that woman, they ask, you can go, I don't care. - [Officer] Well, you don't need to take the piece of paper, just know that you're not allowed back, okay? - Yes, I know. - [Officer] If you come back you could be arrested, okay? - Yes. I've been in jail already for no trespassing. You know that. - [Officer] All right. So you know how it works. - [Martha] I know. - [Officer] All right. All right, Martha, have a good day. - [Martha] I will. (Martha indistinctly shouting) - [Officer] I got her. (chuckling) Martha, this is still their property, you can't be here either. - [Martha] I want my $32.50. - [Officer] Okay, I don't care. - The money, I need to pick it up. - [Officer] Okay. - Go and tell her. - [Officer] If you don't leave right now, you're gonna go to jail. - I'm going to jail right now. Take me to jail. Take me to jail. - [Officer] Do you refuse to leave? - I need my $32.50 that I came to buy. - [Officer] Okay. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. (car engine cranking) No, get out of the car. Martha, get out of the car. - The guy was speaking with her for my $32.50. - [Officer] Get out of the car. Charlie four, I have 1-10-15. - Let me close my car. - [Officer] Out of the car. - I need to close my car. - [Officer] I'll close it, out of the car. - [Police Radio] Charlie 3-24, who was that? - [Police Radio] It was Charlie one. - [Officer] Out of the car. - [Martha] One second. - [Officer] Out of the car. (Martha speaks indistinctly) - [Police Radio] Is anybody out with him? - [Police Radio] Negative, buddy. It's reference to Martha. (Martha wailing) - [Police Radio] Charlie one, you good? (Martha wailing) - [Officer] 10-4, I could use another. (Martha wailing) (handcuffs clicking) (indistinct radio chatter) - [Police Radio] I think he said he's 10-4. - [Police Radio] Copy that. - [Officer] I'll need another 'cause we're gonna need someone to tow this vehicle. She's been a little uncooperative, but she's cuffed. - [Martha] I'm not cooperating. I am recording you. - [Officer] Okay. - [Martha] I'm recording you. - [Police Radio] (indistinct) can start that way from Indian Springs. (officer clears throat) - [Officer] Step back. Stand against get your car. - Just stop touching me. Just stop touching me. - [Officer] All you had to do was leave. - The guy was speaking with me to give me my $32.50. And you are carrying me. Stop holding me, sir. Stop touching on me. Stop! - [Officer] I'm in the rear. My car's in the front. I'll be standing by- - I came to talk with you to get my money. Officer, you are f*****g a*****e. - [Police Radio] (indistinct) are you any closer until I get there? (Martha wailing) - Stop holding me. I'm not moving it. I not going to go nowhere. Stop holding me. - [Police Radio] I'm stuck at the light (indistinct) - [Martha] Stop holding me! - [Officer] Just waiting for a transport and then we'll go. - Excuse me, sir. Excuse me. Can you tell him that she was gonna talk with the boss to give me my $32.50 of money? You don't have to hold me. - [Officer] Yes, I do. - You don't have to hold me. - [Officer] Okay. - I'm not going nowhere. You've been a*****g me for 6 years. 6 years and your violence, your nastiness! - Well, Martha, any normal person would've learned their lesson in six years, but not you. You've had this arrest coming for quite some time. - [Officer] We're just hanging here until we get a transport. I'm not walking anywhere, we're gonna stand right here. - I don't want to wait with you! I can walk there, to the jail if I need to walk. I don't drink, I don't smoke. I call and I call and you don't leave me alone. I have already bruises. (gadget beeps) I need my car towed to the shop. The one right there. I got AAA. - [Officer] Charlie four, also let's get the next 10-70 rotation. - [Police Radio] 10-4, it's for a silver Volkswagen? - [Officer] Yeah, 10-4. - I need to close my car myself. - [Officer] No, we will close it. - I need to be transported, I have appointment at one, they were fixing it today. - [Officer] Okay, well, it's going to Prompt's tow yard. - [Martha] This is a***e! And I gonna see you, everybody's watching you, I have 25,000 people. Yeah, hurt me more. Hurt me more. Hurt me more! Hurt me more! - [Police Radio] Charlie (indistinct) how long has Delta three and Tango two been on scene on their call? - [Police Radio] Two hours. - [Police Radio] Understood. Thank you. (officer clears throat) - [Officer] Officer, are you coming here? - [Martha] Yeah, Kevin Jimenez, and you both can r**e me. - [Police Radio] Charlie five and Charlie three are on the way. - [Officer] Yeah, well, just step it up so I can get her in a car, She's going a little wild. (clears throat) - [Police Radio] All right, I'll be there. - [Martha] My lawyer is seeing all of this, you're going to hell Mr. Chain. Chain the fame. - [Officer] Do not turn around. - [Martha] I'm not turning around and stop touching me! (indistinctly shouting) (indistinct radio chatter) (officer speaks indistinctly) And stop putting your hand in my shoulder! Keeping your hand on my shoulder! (phone buzzing) - [Police Radio] (indistinct) charlie five on scene? (officer responds indistinctly) No, I'm asking is he on scene? If he's on scene I'm (indistinct) (indistinct radio chatter) - [Police Radio] Copy that. - [Officer] Once again, I'm in the rear. - [Martha] I not going in the rear with you. Chain of fame, disgusting man. I have pictures of you, they are all over the internet. - [Police Radio] You said you're in the rear? (officer responds indistinctly) - [Martha] You having pleasure touching me? Yes, you like to choke woman? Yeah, because you are a nasty rapist. I came to look for you in the back to ask for my $32.50 of money. - [Officer] Okay, if we walk, are you gonna calm down? Or are you gonna keep yelling? - [Martha] This is gonna be beautiful for Salvation Army (indistinct) - [Officer] Anybody here yet? - [Martha] He's hitting me. He's hitting me. He's punching me. He's punching me, help. (radio indistinct chatter) Chain the fame, Kevin Jimenez, Collin Smith... (gadget beeps) - [Officer] Don't turn around. - [Martha] No, I'm not turning around. - [Officer] Stay right there. - [Martha] I need to be like this. You're hurting my left side is gonna be more millions of dollar because of you, stupid idiot. - [Officer] Okay. If I walk you to my car, are you going to be calm? - [Martha] I'm not walking to your car. - [Officer] Okay. - [Martha] I need paramedics. - [Officer] We'll stand here then. - [Martha] I need paramedics. - [Officer] Why do you need paramedics? - [Martha] My pressure is going down. I feel like I gonna have a heart attack. - [Officer] Okay. - [Martha] I need paramedics. (officer speaks indistinctly) - [Police Radio] Charlie one. - [Officer] Can you have fire or EMS respond? She's complaining of blood pressure issues. - [Martha] My left side. You messing up my left side. Kevin Jimenez already did, you did it more. - [Officer] Okay, do you want me to grab your right side then? - [Martha] No, I don't want you to touch me! You having pleasure to touch a beautiful Columbia woman? You've been touching me for a long time? No, maybe because you are gay. You're messing around with Kevin Jimenez. Pa, pa, pa. - Being entitled is one thing, but being delusional and entitled, this woman should have earned an extra charge just for her spectacularly misguided sense of reality. - [Officer] Turn, turn. - [Martha] No, not before the medic are here. - [Officer Chow] Stop it. Right now, stop it. - [Officer] We've got fire and EMS coming. - [Martha] How many? - [Officer Chow] Stop. - [Martha] I wasn't arrested- - Stop. Stop. Stop. - [Martha] I'm gonna stop for a long time, sir. - Wait, just calm down, please, it's okay. - [Martha] He's been a*****g me for four years. - No, he has not been a*****g you. - [Martha] I have pictures. - Shh. Shh. - [Martha] I have pictures and I have videos. - Please don't yell, I have a headache. (Martha indistinctly shouting) You're acting up. You don't need to do that, ma'am, okay? - [Martha] I am no ma'am, I am Martha, and I know you for 20 years Mr. Chow. - I'm not sure what you just called me, but, okay. - [Martha] You are Mr. Chow. C-H-O-W. Mr. Chow? - Mr. Chow, yes ma'am. - [Martha] And you are owner of River City Restaurant with your wife. - How do you know that? - [Martha] Because I know you for 20 years. I was there on Friday and the food was disgusting. - Well, I'm sorry. I'll have a talk with the owner, I know him really well. Okay? I'm tell him he needs to up his game. Thank you though for- - [Martha] Can you tell him to leave me on my left side because Kevin Jimenez hurt me? And he hurt me today, too, he was very violent. (indistinct radio chatter) - Okay. Okay. (gadget beeping) - [Officer] Go ahead. - Martha, it's okay, just relax for a minute. (indistinct radio chattering) - [Martha] I trust you because I trust you with my children (indistinct) - Okay. What were you doing here today? What were you looking for? - [Martha] I went shopping. I had $32 to spend here. - Okay. - [Martha] I have $32.50. - Okay. - [Martha] I just started and he came and he- - What did you buy? - [Martha] I didn't have no time to buy nothing because he came and threw me out. - Why would someone call us then? - [Martha] Because I have that Mick, Mick is a Puerto Rican guy, a Cuban guy and he is very mean and nasty. I wanted to spend my 32.50, I don't have no more. (police radio chattering) - [Officer] Okay, you guys can clear. If they're okay with staying there with him, then you're clear to leave. (officer clears throat) (indistinct radio chatter) - [Mr. Chow] No, we'll get it. - [Martha] No, I want to hold it. - [Mr. Chow] Okay, I just didn't want to drop it and break anything. - [Martha] I have all my credit cards and everything there (indistinct) (indistinct chattering) Don't touch my car! - [Mr. Chow] Don't do that. (Martha wailing) Don't kick- - [Officer] Don't try to kick me. Are you kidding? - [Officer Chow] Stop it. (Martha squealing) - I'm gonna call it out. - [Officer] Yep. - I told you don't touch my things. Why he has to touch my things? - [Officer] I was getting your- - [Martha] Don't touch me, don't touch my things. I hate you! I didn't kick you, I pulled my leg. - Charlie one. Just leave her there. - [Officer] Fire should be here any minute. You can sit her up, if you want. - [Martha] Don't touch my things, Mr. Chow. - We have to. - [Martha] Not him, he needs to die. I hate him. I hate him. - You gotta stop screaming. You gotta stop screaming. - [Martha] I'm not screaming, sir. - You were. - [Martha] At him because he's been throwing me, a*****g me, throwing me. - [Officer] Do you wanna sit? Do you wanna sit up? - Do you wanna sit up? - [Martha] No, I don't. (indistinct radio chatter) - [Martha] I need my $32.50. - [Officer Chow] I promise you, it's not gonna go anywhere (indistinct) - [Martha] My $32.50 (indistinct) my phone. Okay, I ask for you, but he has to go. I don't want to see him because he and Kevin Jimenez hurt me. He is not gonna be the supervisor no more after this. - [Officer] Charlie four, we have fire and EMS in route, correct? - Martha, do you want some water? - I have water in my car, right there. - Do you want some. - [Martha] (indistinct), please. - Okay, do you want some water? - [Martha] I don't want to take water until the paramedics come. - Yes ma'am. Okay. (indistinct) - [Officer] Just watch her, since she's happy feet. Watch your, uh. - Yeah, I got it. - [Martha] I don't wanna touch this man. This is a man. He's an older man, not like you, piece of garbage. - Yeah, I am. That's true. I am definitely older. - [Martha] And I went to be at your restaurant and I left. The food was disgusting, but I love your place. - Okay. That's good. I'm glad to hear that. - [Martha] Look at my... July (indistinct) I was there. - Oh, okay. All right. - After what felt like an eternity, the paramedics finally arrived. As a former detective, I can tell you that some people request EMS just as a way to escape or delay the process. In my opinion, demanding EMS without a valid reason should definitely come with a bill or charge. Don't you agree? - Are you sure you don't want to sit up, sit up? - [Martha] No, I want it like this. - Okay, here comes comes- - [Martha] And don't step on me. - I'm not gonna step on you. Do you guys know Martha? - [Marcel] Yes. - [Officer] So she's under arrest, and now she's claiming a blood pressure issues, I believe. She just tried to kick me and we pushed her and now she's on the ground too. - [Martha] May I sit down please? - [Marcel] You wanna sit up? - [Martha] Please. - [Marcel] Yeah, let me help you. - [Officer Chow] Yeah, we asked her, she wouldn't sit up until you guys got here. - [Martha] One second. One, two, three. - [Marcel] How have you been? - [Martha] Having problems with the m**********r son-of-a-b***h. - [Marcel] Which one? This one? - [Martha] Ha, ha, ha. Everybody's watching you, my friend. - [Marcel] Martha, What's going on? - [Martha] I went to spend the $32 that I have- - [Marcel] No, no, no medically what's going on? - [Martha] On my left side, he hurt me on my left side. - [Officer] Calling Charlie one. - [Police Radio] 10-4. Truck one advisor pulling up on scene. Do you have visual on them yet? - [Martha] I am a 57 year old woman. - [Officer] Yeah, they're back here with us. - [Martha] He's threatening me and threatening me and threatening me. - [Medic] Well, try to calm down because it's not gonna help your blood pressure, okay? - [Marcel] Listen Martha, I haven't seen you in a long time and I missed you, okay. - I missed you too, Marcel. - [Marcel] I want you to be calm for me, all right? - [Martha] What about Caleb? Caleb is not here? - [Medic] No, Caleb's not here. - [Marcel] How are you feeling? Does anything hurt at all? - [Martha] I was okay and until he hurt me. - [Medic] Yeah? Where did he hurt you at? - [Martha] Everywhere. - [Medic] So what hurts now? Like if I took you to the hospital and I told the doctor, what would it be? - [Martha] Everywhere. - [Medic] Everywhere? - [Martha] Everywhere, he's (indistinct) - [Medic] How would they figure it out? - [Martha] Excuse me? - [Medic] How would they figure out where everywhere is? - Is this yours? - [Martha] That's mine. And I have ice water in the car, can I have some water? - [Medic] We can not give you water, if we're doing a medical examination. - [Martha] Okay. - [Medic] So if I took you to the doctor, what would I say?
