He does have a valid insurance card, so the vehicle is properly insured. And today, he was going 65 and a 45. Like I said, he was carelessly driving, aggressive, careless driving. So, today he's getting two citations for that. So, here's the thing. I'm giving you two citations for speeding and for aggressive careless driving. Now, you have three options. Um he was honest with me, so I'm going to work with him a little bit. Uh, nobody appreciates people with no car insurance, especially people speeding going 25 over the speed limit with no car insurance. But instead of me towing his car and basically it impounding the vehicle, I'm giving him the opportunity to call for someone to help him. But he's definitely not getting back on the public road. Uh he's I assume he's from another um office. So, he's visiting Coral Springs from another office and he he just got confused on where to turn. So, if you're ever in a situation where you're in a left turn lane, you're dedicated to that lane. Now, you have to stay in that lane. You can't just dart across traffic, go into a straight through lane. Just best course of action is to turn left or right, wherever you are, and to go down the road, make a U-turn if you made a mistake, and that's it. It's just safer for everyone. People aren't expecting others from turn lanes to go straight. That's how accidents happen, and then that's how people get hurt. So, just to avoid all that, once you're in the lane, stick to it. If you made a mistake, go down the road, make a U-turn, and you'll be fine. It'll be lawful, safer, and you won't have to get stopped and possibly given a ticket. All right, sir. I'm on her driver's side in traffic. I noticed that she's not wearing her seatelt, right? So, originally I thought she was sitting on top of her seat belt with it being clicked in already and just sitting on top. Um, she was actually shoulder strap was underneath armpit, seat belt clicked in. She can't wear the seat belt like that. It's actually unlawful to wear the seat belt improperly. You have to wear it properly the way it's designed. And uh that's the reason for the stop. So, that gives me probable cause to pull her over. When I ask her for a license, she tells me she doesn't have a license. She's never been issued one in any state in the United States of America. The only thing she has is her passport. Um, she gave me a Broward County ID card, which isn't like a stateisssued ID card. It's a county issued ID card. She can't drive in Florida with no driver license because, like I said, it's a criminal offense. 104. We're going to see if she's ever been given an state issued ID number, meaning like someone in the past has pulled her over before for no driver license. They wrote a ticket and then the state generates an ID number. If that's the case where she's already been given a ticket for it and she just doesn't learn her lesson, keeps doing it, I'm gonna arrest her. But we're gonna find out first.
