Yeah, >> it's this pickup truck. >> He already knows. [Music] Tango 311050 stay 7 sample. >> Hey, Officer Triny with Coral Springs Police. 66 and a 45 is why I pulled you over. Do you have your license under your registration insurance? >> Um uh I don't have my license. Are you are you a technician working on someone's car? >> Yeah. >> All right. Why you going so fast? >> I ain't been too. You see, I just go with it and I slow down something. >> Okay. >> Do you have a picture of your license? >> All right. That's fine. Yeah, you're good. >> I really don't. >> Okay. >> That's why I >> Look, I get you're testing cars out here, but it's not a test track. >> It's a roadway where people are driving. And if you need to test something and you need to go highway speeds, unfortunately, you got to go to the saw grass, man. Okay. You live still or no? >> Did you update your license yet or no? >> So, you still have to do it? What's the new address? All right, man. Give me one second. Let me check out your license. [Music] Hey buddy, you're good to go. Okay, slow down. Okay, you're good. Yeah, you're good. [Music] Maroon color Toyota. When the light turns green, make a right. Tango 31 1050 3100 block state road 7 >> Florida tag three red Toyota one time traffic. >> Yeah. So we pulled this vehicle over uh while we were on that previous traffic stop over there. He just passed us a 63 and a 45 failing to move over for us. So, we're gonna have a talk with him. Hello. Right here. Hey, you realize you passed me at 63 and a 45 and you didn't even move over for me. I was on a traffic stop, man. You know how dangerous that is. >> All right. I'll just take your license, registration, insurance. My name is Officer Charnie with Coral Springs Police. >> Okay. Okay. Well, it's all on camera, so it's fine. Do you live in still, ma'am? >> Yes. >> All right. And then registration insurance. I'll be right back. So, the first thing that the driver said was she wasn't going 63 mph. With that being said, um the last stop, I actually gave him a warning. It was a technician working on a customer's vehicle. He was trying to get the vehicle up to a highway speed. He was trying to get the vehicle up to highway speed um to to verify a problem was gone. and I reminded him to bring it out to the interstate if you needed to do that. So, I gave him a warning. Uh, we're going to look at this driver's history, but she failed to move over for emergency vehicle. Just a quick tip. Actually, it's the law, too. Any vehicle parked on the side of the road with the emergency lights on, aka the hazard lights, you have to move over one lane. It's not just for emergency vehicles anymore. It goes for all vehicles that are broken down on the side of the road. If you can't move over, you got to reduce your speeds by 20 miles under the posted speed limit. So here it's 45, you got to reduce it to 25 miles per hour. If you can't move over, like a vehicle's adjacent to you and it it's not reasonable for you to actually change lanes without crashing or there's heavy traffic during rush hour or something like that, you got to slow down. It's for the safety of people. I don't want an early retirement out here by getting involved in some type of traffic accident. a vehicle sideswiping me, a vehicle rear ending my my vehicle, and it's just too dangerous. So, that's why these laws exist, for the safety of everyone. All right, man. I'm I'm issuing a citation for 63 and a 45 and failing to move over. You have three options. Paying it, traffic school, traffic court, and you have 30 days to choose one of the options. Please slow down. Okay, take care. Tango 31 final stop the 8200 block University in Tamarack at the mobile gas station. Oh wait, that's not mobile correction marathon gas station. >> Hey buddy, Officer Charnie with Coral Springs Police. >> Yeah. So the reason why I pulled you over is you ran that red light when you did the U-turn. Yeah. You got to you got to wait for the light to turn green, man. Do you have your license on your registration insurance? >> Thank you. Is everything okay? >> Yes. >> All right, man. You got to follow the rules. >> I just left the house. >> You got to follow the road rules. >> Is your address current, sir? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then your insurance, please. [Music] >> Yeah. I'll be right back while you lift that. Okay. If you find it, just stay seated. This is good. You're welcome. >> So, we're sitting in traffic at the red light. Both uh southbound northbound lanes have the red light. He's facing north. I'm facing south. Does the U-turn while the lights red. So, I'll pull him over and um he just didn't even he he told me he didn't even realize I was behind him with my lights and sirens on. But, uh we'll check his license out. He's definitely getting a ticket for that. That's that there's no excuse for doing that. >> Did you find your insurance? >> Yeah, I got >> Okay, very good. All right, I'm issuing a citation for the red light, but you have three options. Paying it, traffic school, which is online, or traffic court. You have 30 days to comply. >> All right, sir. Take care. Hey sir, officer trying with Cool Springs Police. Is there a reason why you're like almost touching my bumper, weaving in and out of traffic? >> I was looking for I was trying to find something. I don't have GPS. I wasn't sure which lane. >> You got to slow it down, man. Okay. Do you have your license on your registration insurance? >> Glove box. >> Roblox. >> Oh, yeah. Glove box. Sorry. >> And then just your insurance, please. Do you still live in Pomp Beach? >> What's that? I can't hear you. >> I think it's in there somewhere. >> Yeah. Yeah. Just take your time. That's good. I'll leave that with you. I'll be right back when you find your insurance. Just please stay seated. Don't get out. Okay. So, we're in traffic on University Drive heading northbound about to hit the intersection at Royal Palm. This guy's just riding my bumper. Gets so close. He goes into I'm in the middle lane. He goes into the right lane, which is the outside number three lane. People are about to turn into a shopping plaza. So, he darts back into the middle lane, continues to follow me too closely. So, we have following too closely, improperly, changing lanes, following other people too closely. And I think at that point he realized I was an unmarked in an unmarked police car. So, he started to back off a little bit. Driving like that is when someone is inevitably going to get into a car accident. You're just asking for trouble. You're asking for property to get damaged, people to get hurt. There's no reason to be driving like that. So, he's just got to be more careful. Did you find it? [Music] >> That's okay. >> No problem. That's good. Thank you. So, I am issuing a citation for falling too closely, but you have three options. paying it traffic school or traffic court and you have 30 days to choose one of the options. All right. Please. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Take care. Be safe. >> That's right. Scrolling, texting, manipulating. Hey sir, Officer Charnie, Coal Springs Police. I stopped you because you're texting and driving, man. >> Yeah, I'm sorry about that. >> All right. You can't be uh touch on the screen when you're moving. Do you have your license on your registration insurance? Yes, >> sir. Uh insurance I have on my phone. Is that all right? >> Yes. Do you live in Miami Lake still? >> Uh no, I'm here. >> Okay. >> Say that one more time. >> No, but I have an appointment with the DMV to get it replaced. uh guide yourself. >> Did you try doing it online? >> I was going to do it online, but my mom suggested that I do it in person, so I'm just going by her. >> Okay. >> Did see that you could do it online, but >> Yeah, you can do it online. All right. Very good. Is there an emergency? Like, are you texting 911 or something or what's going on? >> No, I was I was texting uh my girlfriend was trying to wrap it up cuz I'm on my way to the mosque now. So, I was just telling her, "Hey, like Okay." >> It was actually the last text I was telling her, "Hey, I got to go." All right, man. Give me one sec. I'll be right back with you. >> So, as a wise, strong man once said, you can't have your fingers manipulating the screen while driving a motor vehicle. >> Phone your right hand, fingers manipulating the screen in the school zone. Phone your right hand, fingers manipulating the screen. Black phone your right hand, fingers manipulating the screen the whole entire time. >> So, that's why we pulled him over. Um, he's just texting, scrolling through his phone. So, >> texting all driving is distracted driving. Distracted driving is just as dangerous as impair driving. We don't want any accidents out here, more than we already do. So, we're trying to combat that by educating the public through verbal warnings, written warnings, or citations. I'm going to look into this guy's um history, and if he's got no citations with us, or if he doesn't have anything that's ever been issued with texting and driving, I'll try to get him out of here with a verbal or written warning. But, if he's already been warned, then I'm going to write to write him a citation cuz obviously the warning from us or other law enforcement's not working. So, I just uh ran his license with dispatch. He's valid. No warrants. And I also checked the state system, David. Now, David's not a person. It's actually a database. It's the driver and vehicle information database. Um, that's what the acronym stands for. So, it'll have all his history with um vehicles that he owns, citations that he was received in the past. Uh if his license was suspended, it would tell me what the suspension was for briefly. in his history. He's only gotten one speeding citation in the past for 74 and a 65. That was in 2022. So, nine over the speed limit. Somebody uh issued him a citation for it. So, no previous history with the texting and driving. So, this one's just going to be a written warning. That way, if he gets pulled over again, someone within our agency or uh surrounding agencies can see that I issued him a break for this one. But, if he does it again, obviously, he's not learning and he'll probably get a citation next time. All right, sir. Listen, man. You've never gotten a citation for texting and driving. So, I'm giving you a written warning, but you got to stop doing that cuz obviously it's dangerous. It's just as dangerous as impaired driving. So, please take it seriously. Okay. Take care. Be safe. You're welcome. >> Any unit can clear a copy for 65 in progress at Target 7 that it's going to be a known 65. It's going to be a white male in his 50s. Black shirt, black hat, black shorts. Trying to get a direction of travel. >> Tango 31 clear. You can cancel on being 10. I'll show you tonight. >> He's going through the south doors. Yeah. >> Copy. >> Yeah, he's still going to be detained. Drop the bucket. >> Don't move. >> Hands together. >> He is a repeat though. He constantly comes in here. It's just today I actually caught it from the beginning and I have all my requires. >> Has he Have we arrested him before? You know, >> not here. No, I just took over. So maybe in the past, but for me, he's only, like I said, I've only seen him for about a month. >> Okay, perfect. And he comes here to steal usually or is it like all targets around >> Broward? Sporadic pier. I don't know. I I don't know about the I don't have anybody at the other door. >> Did he put anything in the bucket? >> Uh potentially. So, quick rundown. Uh, there was a retail theft in progress involving this guy. He was putting stuff in his pockets and stuff in the bucket he had. Um, Target LP called us letting him know, letting us know what was going on. They told us that originally he was going to go on the north side, which is where we staged at. He ended up going to the south side and that's where we met him. and now he's uh detained. Depending on the amount of stuff that he stole, merchandise, their uh target LP is going to decide whether or not they want to press charges. If they want to prosecute, he's going to be placed under arrest for petty theft. If they don't want to prosecute, what we could do is bar him, which means trespass him from the store. And if he comes back within a certain amount of days, he'll be placed under arrest for trespassing. So you understand that that's committing theft here in the city of Coral Springs and just about anywhere in the state of Florida, really anywhere in the United States. Okay? So you have to pay for stuff. They don't unless they tell you you can take it, you can't just take things. >> Fair. >> Also, I'll advise you that pan handling in Coral Springs is a citable offense. So don't be doing this on any of the corners here. Okay. >> You're going to arrest for felony retail theft. Okay? Going to have you stand up. >> It's been over 10 years ago. It doesn't matter. Florida doesn't have a limitation on that. So, >> you know, it doesn't. Come on. You got to stop stealing. You're also going to be trespassed from here for a year. >> Don't come to Coral Springs and steal >> evidence to it. You ain't got no evidence, baby. >> I would have arrested you without evidence. >> Yeah. Only evidence. >> Don't just make things up. Believe it or not, I know I know what you I know what you see and hear on TV is actually in fact not true. So >> possession is 910 law. >> Possession is 910 of the law took on camera. >> That's a movie line, man. >> Possession is 9/10 of the law. >> Bravo 44. Bravo 46. Bravo 56 65 and 36. Caller advising 20 to 25 people physically fighting. Okay. Further tango 31 out. >> There's one male that is running. We're trying to get a description. [Music] 114 heading northbound to the area reference. >> I'm glad you come in here. Good afternoon. >> Good afternoon. They have a bunch of them ready to fight. >> Did you witness it? >> No. I I say somebody called because I put in like I called you guys. They split. >> They're ready to fight. I'm like, "No." >> Which way Which way did all that all go? >> Some of them go that house. Some of them go that way. All of them. >> So, they just started running. >> Oh, yeah. Because I pretend like I call you, but I'm glad somebody calling me because they was ready to fight. >> Someone got jumped. >> So, we're going to go talk to the victim right now. >> Okay. Thank you, ma'am. Appreciate you. >> Oh, yeah. All right. >> All right. See you. >> 442. Bra 54. Copy at 139. 139 4005 Westside Drive. Calls are advising that somebody's 33 somebody else. They're advising that it's a yellow house that's across the street. They're advising that in the backyard. People are screaming. Code three. Do we have any suspect information? Are they still on scene? >> It's happening right now. We're still trying to get further. They're advising that they still see a lot of people screaming. They adise that one shot was heard. [Music] 22. [Music] >> Did you guys hear shooting? >> All right, leave. Run. Who's where >> from down there >> on this street? >> Hey, >> how many shots did you hear? >> Get our helmets. William, get our helmets. We're going down. >> This is good cover. We'll take that. >> He's He's saying that the shots were heard down here. Not specifically this house. >> Yo, not specifically this house. He lying. He lying. >> He's lying. >> Huh? >> He's saying shots were heard on this road somewhere around the area. He doesn't know exactly where. One shot. >> 46. [Music] >> Get in your car. Put it right here and start making commands. Everybody needs to come out of >> Hey, the Coral Springs Police Department. Come out with your hands up. Do it now. [Music] Carl Springs Police Department. If you're inside, come out with your hands up. Do it right now. >> You want to check the backyard of this real quick? >> You want to check the backyard real quick? >> No. Nobody back there. I'm telling you something. >> Just come with me. We're going to check the backyard, bro. >> They said screaming came from the back. I'm going to float, guys, just in case. >> Yeah, man. >> So, um, somebody called saying they heard a shot fired in the area of this residence. Um, we're we don't see anybody that's down or any victims of a gunshot wound or anything like that. Everyone who lives there saying they haven't heard anything. This might be all tied to all the fights that have been happening today around Coral Springs High School with the release. We're trying to investigate that. So far, it looks like it's possibly a bogus call where someone's using us as a tool to target people maybe that they were fighting with today and stuff like that. So, we're just going to double check the area real quick. Only one caller so far. So, that's why I think it's kind of like a swatting issue. So, we're going to find out who did this and there's going to be consequences if that's the case. [Music]
