Hey, I'm Lieutenant Rabalia, bringing you the What's on the Truck Tuesday, rescue edition. Today, we're going to be talking about our stretcher. This stretcher is a battery-operated hydraulic system, which means we can lift it up and down at the push of a button, saving our backs. This stretcher has the ability to lift up to 700 lb. The back has our oxygen tank, our Zoll monitor, and other equipment that helps us attend to the patient. It also has a telescopic IV pole that helps us hang the fluids high enough to give to the patient. If you live in a building that has an elevator, don't worry cuz we can collapse our stretcher to fit into the elevator. The stretcher system is integrated to the back of the rescue to ensure the patient is safe during transport.
