Shamar was charged with felony counts of fleeing and causing bodily harm, firstdegree reckless endangerment, and misdemeanor hit and run. He was held on a $10,000 cash bond. However, this case is still far less troublesome than the next one on the list. Take that vest off for take that vest off. You know, come on. Take that off. Let's listen. On May 4th, 2022 in Florida, officers responded to an apartment complex regarding a disturbance in the parking lot. The caller stated that there was a large group of juveniles drinking alcohol and loitering in the area. When officers arrived on the scene, they found approximately 15 to 20 subjects in and around several vehicles. These are the events that followed. You doing that? Hey, back up. While the cops handle him, another teen comes forward and creates a scene. [music] You do that. Back up now. The you do, bro. Back up. It's no big deal. It's no big deal. Roll up on your side. Stand up, bro. Get back right now. Back up. Back up. I got wrong with y'all, bro. Wrong with y'all. Back up. Hey, back up. Back up now. HELP. BRO, IT'S ALL GOOD. I DIDN'T do nothing. I didn't have touch. Work on him. I didn't do nothing, bro. You were about to hit me, dude. I was not about to hit. So, why'd you bite your face and get in my face? Because, dude, you're running up on me. Yeah. Okay. Okay. What's going on with him? Step out. Step out. Give me that keys, bro. I'm sorry. I was just hyped up. I respect 104. I know. We got a lot of subjects here. We got 115. Why is he going to jail right now? Why is he going to jail? If you get in my face, I'm I'm not in your face. I'm sitting as close as it is. And you're not a problem with him. like 3 ft of space over there right now, bro. Riley, that's the brother in this 1015. Just make sure he stays away. I told you several chances. I said, "Hey, stop balling your fist. Chill out." I apologize. All right. I accept your apologies, but you we didn't have to take it to this level, man. I know. I'm sorry. I was just hyped up. It's like It's like 15 of you guys let you punch me in the face. Well, you look like you were going to hit me. I know. And I apologize. All right. Why' you have what's all the ball balling up your fist? Sorry. I'm just hyped up. There's a situation going on. Sir, honestly, I apologize. Yeah, but listen, man. Listen, man. Listen to me. Any anytime you come across police, you ball up your fist and get in somebody's face. I'm not You know what? Do you think I'm I'm going to punch you back? I'm going to let you punch me in the faces. I know, sir. Trust me. If you were to chase me, I'd understand. Truthfully, like that. You got me in my ribs a couple times. It's fine, dude. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what what your dig is, but I appreciate you coming down and like I Man, I'm sorry. Okay. You got me. Okay. I listen. It's not personal, man. I'm I'm doing my job. I I appreciate you being sorry, but you screwed up. Okay. Yeah. I apologize. I was acting big and tough, but I got I got thrown on my No problem. Stand by real quick. Do you have anything else in your pocket anywhere? Anybody else? You can check me anyways. I'm sorry. And I apologize. You're good. Well, I I respect you as a man for, you know, man to man. I'm sorry. Got to do what we got to do. Have a seat for me. Right here. No, over here. Over here. Yeah, that that's all right. I'm right here. We'll we'll call or do whatever needs to be done. Okay. I'm going to I'm going to explain to you right here. Okay. After putting him in the vehicle, the officers disclose everything that's happened to his father. We don't need this other one, do we? No. No. So, keep him over there. Yeah, just keep him away. He was 2 seconds away from joining him. Sorry about that. No, no, you're good, man. This is your house number or your cell phone? Okay. So, here's your stuff back. I explained to you on right now is going to be arrested for what he just did. All right. They're going to What's the charge? Out of curiosity, I'm going to talk to the other officer exactly find out what what the exact charges are. But regardless, he's going to be taken down. You know where the juvenile assessment center is on 45th Street just you know where the railroad tracks are for the juvenile assessment center. What's going to happen is he's going to get taken down there. They're going to process him and then uh why how old is he? 20. He's 20 years old. Uh someone over there said he was 16. If he's 20 then he's going down to County Jail. That's all right. So regardless you can call down in a few hours. They'll figure out how you can get him home. All right. Yeah. So, right. It is what it is, right? Are you good with keeping him calm? He's not I got him. I got him. Can I say one thing to my son before he leaves so he doesn't freak out? I'll let him know. Just crack the window. I don't have to Well, I'll let the other officer know cuz your our supervisor is going to want to talk to him and then before they leave, I'll let him know. No, before they leave, I'll let him know you want to talk to him. All right. I want to make sure you're good with the other son. Okay. Yeah, I am. But tell um if we can find out a charge for him, maybe to cool him down a little bit. He's good. I think it's probably resisting arrest or something like that. They've been together cuz I wasn't around for a while. It's probably a misdemeanor. It's probably a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge. He was wanting to know. He's fired up about it. No, I want to be No, I don't care. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not doing anything. Just kidding. Not happy. We're here. Oh, I remember this house. All they ever had with each other. I was around for a few years here. So, they're very tight cuz that's all they have. Like I said, it's probably a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge. I don't know the the whole ins and outs of it. Yeah. Uh we just can't have him fighting around with you guys or or grandma. He's just upset about his brother. I hear you. If I could just speak to him for a second before he goes, you let me know. We'll try to figure that out here. Do it now. It takes like three seconds. I I'm not the one in charge over there. I don't know what's going on. Not if he's if he did something for us to have supervisors out here, it's probably something that he needs to sit there and think about what he did for a minute. Okay. Uh so they don't want to pop right in and say anything. They said they saw it, but then they were like, "No, we ain't got nothing to say." So all right then. You have nothing to say, then get out of here. 1 2 3 4. Yeah, that's a practical thing. Multiple uncooperative witnesses. All right. Well, I'm sorry I had to turn out this way. It is what it is. If you were a police officer, you probably understand why I had to do what I I was raised from police officers. So, sir, do you have your license with you? Yeah, I already Oh, you guys. Thank you. All right. Uh, you want to talk to him real quick? I'm going to end up taking him to the hospital and then he's going to take a ride. Okay. You got to take a ride. No, I know. I'm not good now. I just want Can I stand up and at least say goodbye? No, no, no. You can't get out of the car, man. You got to stay there. Are you arresting me? Yeah, you're you're arrested right now. For what? What did I do? For assaulting a law enforcement officer. It's not assault. I never touched you. Okay. Well, you were about to. That's why it's assault. I wasn't about honey. That's the plan. I'm not going to argue with that. Listen, it can go to court and then they can throw it out. Well, obviously this guy kicked me in his rip. He's He's actually halfway. No, I know. He He is dude, I gave you more than I gave you so much respect and you know it, man. I gave you respect so much. Really? Like I had like two seconds. I do see how you get older. How many Yeah. Listen, man. How many times did I try to tell you, "Hey, relax, dude. Stop balling up your face." Like maybe once. I'm sure it's on your body cam. It's all on body cam. That's the That's the great thing about having a body cam. It's all in body hand. I know that's what I'm saying. I don't know. Listen, it's okay, man. I'm not here to argue with you. I'm just here to you can talk to your dad. I know he's not one of those. I can tell with I know he's not. So have I. I know he's not one of those. That's what I'm saying. I'm trying to explain to you like Yeah. But he'll Can you at least readjust my custom? One of my hands. I I am I'm going to do all of that before we leave. Can Can I have my brother come and stuff to say goodbye? No, no, no. We can't have everybody come say goodbye to you. So it's just one person? Yeah, just your It doesn't even have to be your dad. I'm just your dad the favor. Tell me mom's number so I can remember. Oh god. All right. Thank you. I appreciate more than Hang tight, man. Watch your leg service. Yeah. You know, dad's a decent dude, but kid messed up. Naturally, they claim to have no idea why an arrest is taking place. Do you even know what you were called for? Called for like disturbance or what? I mean, I know decent amount about cops. Something like that. One of your neighbors called neighbor calls for a disturbance. Yeah, something like that. But why did y'all drop their amuse? Of course, he's going to stand up against cops. Yeah, there's enough. What happened, man? Why are they outbursts tonight? Well, I I was just upset. Like, there's a lot going on. I wasn't going to touch him, you know? I had so much time to touch him. I would have if I wanted, you know. Okay. It just I like I was being stupid. What? We came here for a noise complaint and then it went south really we all just around and like I don't know. I just got upset and then I've You been drinking and stuff or? Huh? You've been drinking a little bit? No. Sure. Yeah, 100%. You test me whatever you want. I haven't had a single drink. I haven't had nothing. Okay. All right. Very good. So, a bunch of people are saying that like you got in the officer's face and stuff and told him to take off. We were close. Yeah. Like I was talking [ __ ] I'll admit, but that's just talking [ __ ] You know, if I I had so much time to touch him. If I was going to touch him, I would touch him. You know, I was just talking. I'm stupid. What were you saying to him? Like I I don't even remember how happened. I was just talking like I was just frustrated that okay cuz every time cops come over here they're just like complete. So I was just frustrated like I was hanging out with my friends and stuff. The boy was charged with assault on an officer and carrying a concealed weapon. A few girls prove that it's not just rowdy guys that are the problem. Are you proud of me? Must be officers responded to an incident at an overflow parking lot where a female driver was found unresponsive inside a running vehicle. Upon inspection, officers discover that a DUI charge isn't the only one she'll be facing. My dad pays for everything for me. He's He has money. If he needs to pay you, he can pay you. These are the events that followed. Hello, Sheriff's Office. Can you turn it off for me? There you go. Yeah. Turn the engine off. Don't Don't drive off on me. Step out for me. How old are you, lady? 19. Damn, bro. Was anyone else in the vehicle with you or you by yourself this whole time? I was just going down to the 19 bar. What 19 bar? Um the strip. We were We were just staying here. Who's we? Um my friend Jade. We're staying the night here. Where's your Where's your friends at? Um there's nobody in the car but you. They told me to wait here. Where are they? Are Are they in their own car? Yes. So, based on watching you pass out at the wheel and the alcohol that's in the vehicle, and I can smell it and you're swaying as you're standing there, I I suspect that you're under the influence. To dispel my concerns that you may be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, would you submit to field sobriety evaluations? I'm just waiting on them. They told me to wait. That's not what I asked you. I asked you if you would submit to field sobriety evaluations. These are tools to help me determine The purpose of a field sobriety evaluation is help me determine your level of impairment and if you should be operating. I don't feel comfortable. No, I don't. Okay. I don't feel comfortable driving. No, no, that I didn't ask if you were comfortable driving. Let's try this again. You ready? Yes. All right. I need you to open up the mirrors for me. Listen to my question. Okay. I suspect that you are under the influence of alcohol and that you're impaired and that you should not be driving a vehicle. To help me determine if I'm correct or not, will you submit to field sobriety evaluations? Okay. I don't. Okay. Okay. Cuz my house is just right there. I just I I'm not comfortable. You're not comfortable what with the law. Like I'm just really Am I making you uncomfy? It's not you. It's just like how the world is today. I know. Goddamn Tik Tok told you to fear the cops and now you so so social media tells you the cops are bad and now you're out here scared of the cops. It's not you guys. No, it's it's just like Would it surprise you that if you were drinking in the safety of a hotel room or your room or with your friends and you weren't driving your vehicle that I probably would never had any contact with you? So what you should say is you should say like, you know what, society is wrong. trust and I should not have been in my vehicle with alcohol and drinking and driving. I should not be doing that. But the cops are really good. Yes. You see what I'm saying? So, you shouldn't be uncomfortable. You should be uncomfortable with your My parents are fine with this. Like, they're just like Your parents are fine with what? Driving myself. They're okay with you drinking and driving. No, like as long as it's like okay with like my my person myself. This right now probably not. What What do your parents do? Um, my dad was in the army for like 10 years. And is that your main drink right there? Oh, I haven't had that till 9:00 tonight. I promise. Whose uh bag is that? That's not mine. No, the bag on the right. Who's is that? That's not mine. That's my bag. The bag's not yours. So, is is that is Jade a male or a female? Uh, she's a male. That's mine, but that that's She's a male or he's a male. She's a male. She's gay, but that's not mine. I I I promise. So, it's actually a male. Yes. That wants to be a female. Yes. So, you said she had a respect for the whatever. Yes. Okay. But I promise I haven't had that since 9:00 tonight. Well, what about the beer right there? That's not mine. I don't drink that. I was, but I stopped because I knew I had to drink girls home cuz they they're gay, but I'm not gay so I don't drink. Oh, that's still cold. Cold. Hang on a second. Okay. I literally just wrecked a car like this 3 months ago. So, three deer and I was my dad was like, "So, based on all my observations, I do suspect you driving impaired." Okay. You're under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Okay. Okay. So, my house is just right there. Like literally right there. I understand that. But you drove you drove this vehicle. You made the decision to drink and drive. So, we're going to go through the motion. I think it's better to get I respect whatever. Well, I mean, you tell me what else you think that I could have done. Who is that? My friend. It's literally right there. Answer him. Hello. Is that a sober person or not? Are you sober? Tell them to find you a sober driver. Are you sober right now? If so, that'll be great. They said they're 2 minutes down the road. Yeah. Are they Are they sober? Um, they they just hung up. Did you explain to them that they needed a sober driver here immediately? And this is the male that wants to be a female. Yes. The officer kept asking about the bag inside the vehicle, but the girl refused to admit it was hers. This is the moment when her lies started uncoiling. But it's just the start. Well, that's you. Yeah, that's me. This is your stuff? Yeah. You said it was someone else's stuff. No, I'm I'm saying like my friend's coming to get me here. Is there something in here illegal? No. So why did you tell me it was someone else? No, no, no, no. I'm saying like my friend's coming. You definitely should probably take the ride, but I No, I'm saying like my friend's 2 minutes down the road. Do you use any drugs besides? No. I You in college? Yeah, I am. I go to university. Yes, I'm eighth. Eighth straight student. I make straight A's. Straight A's? Yes. Straight A's. I have Did you walk away from My dad. My dad. My dad's a father of me. My dad My dad pays for everything for me. He's He has money. If he needs to pay you, he can pay you. Oh, yeah. I don't want him to pay me. I want him to make you make better decisions. We're going to get her help. Let's get Can we move? Can someone take her? Can you grab her? Get some help. Okay. You want to go out the back? Where are you taking her? I'm just getting her away from the scene. I'll take her down here. Nope. They're right there. You can take her right there. Nope. Okay. Well, the cops tried to understand the situation as both parties had different statements. However, the old grandma, whom the teens attacked, set the record straight and told the cops what actually happened. In the living room, she's a grandma. She goes, "There's a bunch of people outside cuz she [laughter] she was a roommate to one of the girls." And I I came out and then the girl started hitting me and she bit my finger. So the girl in the black tank shot black tank and a red bra underneath. Her hair is messy and she's got black shorts on. She came in the house. This is your house. The one you all you meanwhile another officer was investigating the teens involved in the incident. I need to figure out what happened today. Okay. Today we came here just to ask for the money back and instead of saying, "Hey, can we talk about this?" Her mom immediately came out of the car and hit me. Okay. What does she look like? The mom is the mom is the bigger one with this. Wait, wait. Time out. Time out. They look alike. Okay. She's saying, "Do we know what she was name?" I don't know her name. Okay. So, would you be willing to be a victim and press charges? I want I want to sue her. She's on my lease. Okay. Is she a family member of yours at all whatsoever? thought she was, but no, she's not. She's not related at all. Okay, gotcha. At this point, at this point, I want to press charges. And that car is one of them. The white car. The white car? Yes. And [crying] the white guy come in with the black drums. He goes, "Come on, brother. You deserve this." And I told him to get out. I said, "I have a grass [crying] in here." And he just kept pushing his way in, too. Okay. Were there any weapons? I I didn't see any. I I really can't tell you. I just know what was going on on my porch and my I mean the lady upstairs came down and was talking to them and I don't know what they said to her and my grandson is 5 years old but he's he's going to be home soon at daycare. Okay. Well, we'll just keep you here. Okay. So, you said black bra or sorry, red bra. Black tank top, a red bra. um and black shorts and she's tall. She's about 58 and she was you they were all fighting outside. No, when my cuz I called my daughter and my daughter come pull me in and the girl jumped out of some car and it attacked my daughter on the porch. That's when I opened the door cuz I heard banging and then the black girl uh pushed my my daughter in the house and it started punching her and then my grand my granddaughter came out. That's her mom and she started punching on her and we were trying to get her out and I was trying to get in there to call the police and then that that girl started punching on me on my head and everything. Okay. I don't I don't feel well. I I just was in emergency room. My liver I got problem with my liver. Like I said, I would like to press legal charges because again, we have a lease together. She knows where I live now. And now that her friends have pulled a gun out on me, I'm scared for my safety. I am a nurse. I have a lot more to lose than to do this. Do you get what I'm saying? Do you get what I'm saying? Like I have a lot more to lose than to engage in violent activities. How does she steal that money? Does she like live? Like they're on the same. Okay. So they took her money. She said she came here. The mom and the boyfriend pulled up in the car. The mom jumped out and started swinging on her. So she got grandma started hitting me. They started hitting me too. [laughter] AND THEN I STARTED JUMPING. They cracked. She started hitting US WITH THE PANTS. THEN the man hit her and then she used to like what? That man with the gun. The man with the gun. He He hit her and then he pulled the gun out. Mama, I need to talk to you separate real quick. The grandma gun that never been hit. Nobody's like we were on a legal binding document together. Repay rent. She has not been in my home since July. Uh can you turn around back? You're being detained. Keep your hands up. Why am I being detained? cuz you were you were a suspect in all this. Okay. I don't know exactly how, but we'll figure it out. Okay. So, you're not under arrest being detained. Please, you have any weapons? Oh my god. No. I'm a nurse. I have a nur I'm a nurse. I'm a nurse. I just got through working at Harborview. Like I said, I have a lot more to lose. They have all ill intent in that house. Unfortunately, being nurse doesn't permit you to break the law and defend it later on. They have ill intent. They were planning on they right now. You're actually detained. Okay. This investigation. What? Just chill out. Chill out. It's okay. Chill out. I just detained right now. Okay. You're not You chill out. What? What? Are you serious? What do you mean with everyone here? What do you mean? You're even going to go out there and stand. Bro, I was sitting there at a reasonable area. Why are you grabbing me? Because this is an Bro, what is your badge number? What's your name, bro? I'm serious, bro. We're going to end up arresting you. No, why are you arresting me? We're going to end up understand. Well, how are you going to arrest me? What am I doing wrong? I'm walking away. We're trying to DS, bro. My right is over here. So why you pushing me this side? Leave. You have the option to leave or stay. This guy was accompanying the teens, [music] defending them, and filming the whole scene. He even tried to threaten cops until they decided to teach him a lesson outside the area. I'm literally This is all public area. You cannot push me anywhere. You can Why are you guys really doing the most right now? Because this is investigation. Can't touch me or nothing. You can't touch you. Why? What did I just tell you? Step away. You're going to get I'm not doing nothing wrong. I'm from a reasonable distance and you're attacking me right now. Look, you look coming up with right now. No, no. Look, you talk to me. Hey, we're from like we speak same language, right? You have two options. Okay. Chill out over here away from the scene. Okay. All we're going to arrest you for obstruction. How am I obstructing? I'm not speaking your language, bro. But how am I obstructing the scene? Can I ask you? Because you're just being too close. This is a crime scene. I was literally at least 20 yards away from an officer with any type of weapon and you guys keep walking up to me. But now, but now we just need you to I'm literally trying to make sure I'm recording for her safety, bro. We are recording. We have more. I want I want your name, bro. Hey, I didn't even relax. I didn't do nothing wrong, bro. You refused to leave. several verbal commands. Llawful command on public. All right, bro. All right. Well, now you're going to get arrested in the book. Ma'am, do you remember who hit you today? Yeah, you you'd remember them if you but you'd be able to recognize her. Okay, so right now we have somebody detained in handcuffs. Okay, just cuz they're surrounded by police and just cuz they're in handcuffs doesn't mean that is the person. Okay, it's just as important to know if it's not the person as if it is. Okay, so what we're going to do right now, we're going to put you in the back of this car. We're going to have you We're going to drive by that person. Okay. I just need you to tell this officer yes or no that is the person and then we're going to take you down the road a little bit so the fire department can check you out. Okay. Okay. All right. We'll help you out. Okay. I'll just explain it real quick. Okay. So, I'll have you look out the window and I want you to just say yes or no if that's the person you recognize. Okay. Look at the car. Look at the car. That is positive one. William 32 positive identification. Let's get her out of here. Hold on. Can you say what's going on for you guys? For what? They touched me first. Hold on. Hold on. HOW IS IT ASSAULT IF SOMEONE TOUCHES YOU FIRST? I need a question. No, you guys keep trying to tell me I just assaulted somebody. How am I assaulting someone? I would like to get your statement. But you guys are arresting me. He just He didn't say that I was He didn't say that I was getting arrested. He just said I was just I need you to chill out. Otherwise, we're just going to have to put you in the car. You understand? Bro, keep that at highlight. Bro, they got dumb as bro. This want to touch me and everybody in their family and you guys want to sit here and arrest me? The I did NOT TOUCH NOBODY UNTIL THEY TOUCHED ME. ALL THREE OF THEM. All three of them touched me. The And I was supposed to sit there and just let the go. That's crazy. That's crazy. So, when are you guys going to get my statements? I don't know. What do you mean? Whose car is this? I'm not talking to you. That's yours. All right. I'm going to read you Miranda rights. Okay, I want you to get your statement first. Okay, I'm going to read you first. I got to read. I want you to get my statement. Okay, listen. You can talk to me after this. Let me read this to you [cough] first. You have the right to remain silent. You have the anything you say, K&N will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to you you have the right at this time to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before questioning. If you wish, you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any escapements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? Do you understand them? No. You don't? No. Have these rights in mind? Do you wish to talk to us now? Yes. But I need you to understand your rights first. Sure. I understand. Do you understand them? Okay. So, can I talk to you guys or you guys just going to close the door and act like I didn't I have the door open. I'm trying to make you talk. Give me your story. Okay. So, Oh, yeah. One second. Okay. But my question is, why am I arrested? Well, let me ask you what what what's the definition of assault? The teen started trying to puzzle the cops, asking them questions and pretending as if she was the victim. So I would Excuse me, Mr. Lee. YEAH, LET'S I JUST HAVE A QUICK QUESTION. What is the definition of assault? What is the definition of assault? Any unwanted touching? Is that the full definition? No, but that's part of it. But I want What happened to your Can I Can I Can I talk to you? Cuz they keep saying I He literally just said I was able to talk to him and he just walked away. So that's Okay. Did they read you your rights yet? The mother came out the car and started hitting me. Not once did I touch that lady. Who's Who's the mother? I don't know her name. I don't know her. The only person I know here is the one right there that I can see through the trees. I don't know the mom. Which is why when she got out the car saying, "Who's this? Who are these? What's the problem?" I She She came up to me trying to hit us. What's your Who are you? Who are you? I'm not touching nobody cuz I don't even know who you are. Who are you? You're trying to get at me. You're trying to hit me. Her man is trying to stop her talking. He's talking mess as well, but he's also trying to stop her from hitting any of us. So, he's trying to stop her. Where where is he at? I don't know. HE'S THE ONE THAT HAD THE GUN. YEAH, that's the same person that had the gun. That was the only man here. [cough] And so, he's trying to stop the lady. I'm like, "Who are you?" I'm her mom. I'm her mom. I'm her mom. Okay, that's understandable. But where's your daughter? She's the one that said that she had the money. SHE HAD THE $3,000. EVERY PERSON THAT Let me Let me explain to you. Sorry. And we were all calm. Her mother pulled up yelling, screaming, saying she wants to fight. And okay, who are you? Like I said, we didn't know who her mother is. Rebe just met her mother a couple years ago. We don't know who that is. So when she comes up trying to fight us, I'm not touching you. I don't know who you are. Okay. She's That's my daughter. That's my daughter. Okay, cool. She's blah blah blah blah blah. Open the door. Re Come outside. Come outside. I don't even know what she was saying. She was just yelling. come outside. Then she pushes me. I tell her, "Do not touch me. Do not touch me." She pushes me again. "Do not touch me." Then she stops me in my face. That's when I touched her. As she stalks me in my face, her grandmother opens the door AND THE GRANDMOTHER STARTS hitting me, too. So, two people now are on me after I didn't even touch the mom. I did not touch the mom outside yet. The grandma didn't open the door. So, how am I getting arrested for assault? How am I getting arrested for herself? Like we all came here just to talk. I just wanted to talk to her. I've been best friends with her for 11 years. Fight back at all. No degree. No, I got hit. Okay. I got hit. How could I fight back to a man? I got hit by a man. They're PC. Okay. It's DV because they're former roommates. So, let's get her out of here and let's question her someplace else. That's not right here. Okay. Perfect. Okay. So, she's under arrest of this plan. is under this plan for consult for at this point. We got to figure out if there's more to it. But I definitely want to finish up with her state and I just don't want to do it here. There's too many there's too many moving parts here. Okay. Can you explain stand up? So this time you're under arrest. Okay. I'm under arrest. Yes. So we're going to walk out. This is horrible. How am I under arrest? We'll explain it there. Please do not start fighting this. Okay. This is horrible. Okay. Let's go ahead. We're going to go in the back seat. Okay. I have so much to lose. Just because you're under arrest doesn't mean you're convicted of a crime. This is horrible. I've never been arrested. I've never been arrested. I'm literally like You have anything on your person? You're No, I don't. So, I'm just doing a search of your person. No, I don't have anything on me. I don't have anything on me. We have to search. It's It is policy that we search you, sir. I didn't come in here with ill intent. I just wanted to talk. All right. Go ahead and face the car. I just wanted to talk. All right. Frustrating. Go ahead and kick one of your legs out for me. [laughter] want your chance. All right, go a and have a seat. I'll put the window down. I'll do everything I can. I'm very claustrophobic. I am very I have asthma. Seriously, I'm not making this up. Like, serious. Okay, we will do everything we can to make you comfy. But I've never been arrested ever a day in my life. This is not fair. It will help if you just take a breath. I Oh my god. Wait, why isn't the person that hit me arrested? The one the grown woman she might be. I don't know. I'm already She's not. I'm looking and she's not in handcuffs and she's the one that's attacked her. Okay. So, the grandma's not getting They all touched me first. I'm genuinely confused. I don't know. Miss ma'am, I just don't like it. Miss Adriana, I don't like it at all, bro. What's good? On August 21st, 2024, officers responded to a Target store following a report of two young ladies shoplifting [music] jewelry and other items. I can't go to prison. You're not going to prison. Jail. The girl in the white conceals and then the other one conceals there. And that was the last thing they selected. They kind of walked around the grocery department for a little bit. Like they even looked at like dairy stuff like butter and stuff, but they never grabbed anything else. Cool. Now I want to prostitute sir. Thank you. We hate for you to be texting your ex-boyfriend that's waiting outside for you. All right, ladies. I'm going to read this to you. Okay. I know I should have, but So if you if I asked you to stand up right now and pointed out all these items you stole, would you be able to do that that you did and not her? Uh probably not because we I think we got the same things. Okay. So you guys are both like a little doubles. Uh I mean it's all both and we also share a lot. Whose idea was it to Whose Whose plan was this to come here? To Yeah. to come here and take stuff that you weren't planning on paying for. So originally I wanted to go to Walmart, but I need to put gas at Wawa cuz it's the cheapest. Well, to me, I think Shell or one of us was the cheapest. So, so she was like, "Let's just go to Target." And I'm like, "Okay, let's just go to Target instead." But I just need body wash. So, you you came here with the intent to to steal it. To get body wash and the jewelry, but I can pay for it. I don't know. Whose idea was it? It wasn't necessarily said of like, "Hey, let's go in and do this." It was just necessarily just done if that makes sense. It wasn't planned. So when you came in the store, you were planning on paying for everything that you bought? No. For everything that you stole? You were planning on paying for it? No. Like I said, nothing was planned at all. Like we just walked in and I said, "I need body wash." And she said she needs jewelry. That's exactly why we went to the jewelry first and we were just okay. Like it wasn't necessarily set plan. So who was holding the the bag? And you were putting Did she know you were putting things in the bag? She did. She put things in the bag, too. Who took the chips? But did you come in here with the intent to not pay for it? Well, no. But like I kind of like I like coming in here I might like like look at it and try and maybe want it. But no. But you said you didn't have any money to buy it. Yeah. I thought I had $2. Okay. Whose idea was it to come here? Nobody's idea. It was nobody's idea. You guys just showed up here? No. We come to Target all the time. So you just figure you're going to come hang out? Yeah. I have a lot of people walking around here. We're going to meet her boyfriend here, too. Well, ex-boyfriend. How old are you? 17. You're still in high school? Did your mom know that you're here? Have you talked to her? Mhm. She knows you're here. Yes. Does she know you were coming here and would stealing stuff or she didn't ask how you were going to buy stuff with no money? No, I don't like inform her what I'm doing. I would I I usually have my dad's any money. Okay. So, you who was carrying this bag right here? I was carrying it, but it's not my bag. Okay. Did you you were putting stuff in the bag? Did you know she was putting stuff in the bag? I did. Yeah. Do you know she did? Yeah. She did, too. Well, it's on camera. So, I'm just asking. So, we asked you to like stand up and point at the items that you put in here specifically. Oh, I I mean I got the chips, but all that jewelry like I'm not going to be able to look at all that and like pull out. I could get a couple. I didn't take a lot of jewelry. There's like Yeah, I didn't take much though. There's like 15 or 20 items here. Would you like to try and look at that? Yeah, I don't want to do that. Cuz I didn't grab much. I did grab this. Mhm. Well, you're an adult, right? It doesn't feel like it, but you are. So it may not feel like it, but you make these grown up decisions. Wait, what does that mean? What does what mean? What do you mean? What do you mean when you say I'm getting taken in? Like what do you mean I'm going to jail? You're going to jail. You'll get booked in. You'll get be given a bond. I'm not a strange 4.0, bro. Okay, that's my problem. I don't know what goes on in jail. I do not want to get touched by nobody. Okay. Well, as long as you behave and you [snorts] don't do anything runchy, we'll be all good. Bro, this is fantastic, bro. Yeah, you made a mistake. I did. But you'll have to if you ever get like a government job or anything. Can I be a nurse? Yeah, you can be a nurse. When you're only 18, I mean, you made a silly mistake at the age of 18, which happens. But I know, but I'm literally going to college after this. Yeah, you have to tell them about this. I was going to Well, on your application, it's going to ask if you ever been arrested or charged or convicted of any crime, and you're going to have to disclose that.
