- It's no shocker that some criminals have a screw or two loose. But then there are others who are the walking definition of insanity. - But what happens when these lawbreakers clash with law enforcement? Well, it's a spectacle you won't want to miss. - Today, Detective Dale will take us on a wild tour through five jaw-dropping cases where suspects were arrested and their reactions were, let's just say absolutely crazy. - In the world of law and crime things can get messy. But even I didn't expect this case to get this stinking. - I'll call the police on you. What's your badge? What's your number? Write it down. a call came in from Rose's Discount Store in Brook Park, Ohio, reporting a woman in a pink dress behaving rather oddly. By the time the police arrived, she was trying to hop into a stranger's car. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of a sticky situation. - [Officer] Ma'am, you are going to be arrested. I'm trying to help you out here. You're going to be arrested. - [Suspect] Touch me again, you're gonna be arrested. - [Officer] Hmm? I'm gonna be arrested? - I'm gonna call the police. - [Officer] Do you want her in here? - I want you to go to Suffolk County. - [Officer] She doesn't want you in here. Leave right now. - [Cashier] You gotta go. - [Officer] You're trespassing. - [Cashier] I'm sorry. - Can I use your phone? - [Cashier] No, we don't have a public phone. - [Officer] I am gonna give you an opportunity to leave and you can walk away or I'm gonna arrest you. - You already arrested my family and you're under charge for- - [Officer] I have no idea who your family are. I have no idea who you are. - You don't know me either. - [Officer] Are you gonna leave, yes or no? - No, I want his phone number to the police. I'm calling the police on you. Where you from? What's your badge? What's your number? Write it down. - [Officer] You're under arrest. You just put your hands on me, assault. - [Suspect] I asked for your number. - [Officer] You can't push a law enforcement officer, ma'am. - [Suspect] Call my f*****g PO. - [Officer] Ma'am, you are under arrest and I'm trying to be nice. - [Suspect] You're about to be prosecuted. - [Officer] Ma'am. - [Suspect] Can you prosecute him? No, look at my bag. Could you get my bag? - [Officer] 14 to radio, I'm taking her into custody. - F**k you, don't touch my s**t. You ain't touching my s**t. Quit throwing me around. - [Officer] Yeah, I'm taking custody. - [Suspect] No, stop. - [Officer] Ma'am! - [Suspect] Stop, stop, stop. - Ma'am! - No, you arrested already. - [Officer] Ma'am, listen. Ma'am! - Stop! - [Officer] Just send a squad up here. This may be a mental condition. - F**k you! - [Radio] Okay. - Ma'am. - Stop pulling. - [Officer] Okay, I'm gonna have a squad check you out, okay? - [Suspect] You going to jail, b***h. - I'm going to jail? - You're going to jail. - [Officer] You're gonna arrest me? - Yep, b***h. - Okay. - [Suspect] F**k you! - [Officer] Okay. Your what? - [Suspect] You're about to go to jail, b***h. - [Officer] Okay. - Get me up. - No. No, you're gonna stay here. - [Suspect] No, you're not pushing me down. - 63, radio. - Oh, you're not pushing me back. - [Officer] I'm not pushing you down, but you're gonna stay here. - [Radio] Her tow truck was supposed to be here half an hour ago, just called and said it's gonna be another hour. She's getting towed to her residence. - Get the f**k off me. - Okay. You just hang tight, okay? - [Radio] I copied all of it up until the last part of it said you said to call Richards, and what else? - [Radio] She's going to the residence with the vehicle and she has the (indistinct). - [Radio] 21-20 to dispatch, she's by the front gate. (motorcycle engines burbling) (siren wailing) - [Officer] Will you stop! - Trust me, things have been going pretty smoothly up until this point. But after what happened next, I can vouch as a former detective myself, the cop was never the same. - Ma'am. - I wanna know why- - [Officer] Ma'am, please. She just crapped herself too. So she's got no panties on, she's crapped herself. - Look me in the f*****g face. Tell me what the f**k. - Remember from she got arrested by Jason one day- - What's your f*****g charge, b***h? - For what? - You got no charge. - Disorderly. - At where? - Planet Fitness. - Oh, I've never been to Planet Fitness, b***h. - [Officer] Okay, I've never dealt with her before. Okay. - Okay, okay, okay. Please. - [Suspect] You're about to lose your job. - [Officer] I know, I know. - You gonna be on welfare, b***h. - [Officer] Okay, that's fine. - Did you find out who she is or not? - [Officer] I have no idea. Yeah, you can look at her, but like I say, she's crapping herself. - Yeah, I see that. This is her MO. She gets drunk and comes to the shop. - [Officer] Okay. Yes, yes, yes I know, I know, I know. And you're in handcuffs. Yes. - The fact you're a, that you don't respect that I'm a. - [Officer] You are too? - Yes. - Okay. - F**k you. - [Radio] I think we've dealt with her several times. - [Officer] I just got information. She just crapped herself. She's got no panties on. - In the bathroom - Hi. - Yeah, that's hers. - What's going on? - She talk to you guys at all? - [Officer] Well, she was laying down outside. When I came over tried to get into somebody's car. She goes in here demanding to use their phone. They said, "no," they want her to leave. She won't leave. Then she started pushing me. So I put her in cuffs, brought her out here, and she crapped herself and laid down. - What's his badge number. - We'll get it to you, what's going on? - I'm not talking to you. Give it to me. - [Officer] It's 14, tell her it's 14. - It's 14. - I don't give a s**t. (officer sighs) - [Radio] That came back as a 35-year-old male. - [Officer] All that stuff was hers. No, we didn't go through that. Have you guys ever dealt with her before? - No, sir. - [Radio] 47-year-old female, she is DUI. - You gonna get his badge number? - It's 14. - No. I already got a case against him. - Yeah? - If you don't get his f*****g badge- - All right. - All, right, I'm gone. - Hey, watch your mouth! - [Radio] Check our systems, please. I think we've had several dealings with her at our Planet Fitness in our city. I just wanna make sure it's the same person. - That's fine. - [Radio] Okay. - All right. - All right. - [Radio] She's not showing any history. - Do you have her license? - He has it, I think. - Arrest me, please. Oh, can you please arrest me? - Hey, let's not say that. How about that? - I mean, kind of looks like her. I don't know if it's the years of alcoholism or what. She don't look like her. - Pardon me? - You guys have anything left to do with her? - [Officer] No, I mean, I think that we're just gonna do, we're not gonna charge. She's something else. - We're gonna go to Southwest. - Okay. - You know what? - [Medic] All right, we're gonna stand up. - You're standing up. - Can you stand up? - Stop touching me. - [Officer] Okay, we've dealt with this before. - She had the same purse last time. - Okay. - Weren't you with me when she said she got robbed? - [Officer] I remember that call, but I wasn't on her. She was spitting earlier too, so be careful. There she goes again. - I got congestive heart failure. - [Medic] Okay, we're not doing that spitting s**t. - It's not on you, officer. - [Medic] I need you to sit back. Just relax, okay? - That's my purse. - The woman was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated. But as rude as she was, she was nowhere near as twisted as the old man up next. - [Officer] Do you wanna surrender the laptop to us with consent, we get the laptop now and we get out of here. - He hasn't done anything, he's just looked. - [Officer] I understand. 911 operators received a phone call that was both highly unusual and deeply disturbing. Any parent would feel a chill hearing about the threat this old man posed to any child. - [Caller] I just received a phone call from my husband. He said that our 87-year-old neighbor just came over and asked him to delete a browser that he had on his laptop. And when my husband opened it, it was labeled "toddler v****a." And he's looking up child p*********y and now the man is in the driveway trying to burn the laptop. - [Operator] Do you think it was accidental that that information got up there? - No, I do not. - And that's why he's doing that. Okay. - And he's outside. He just stopped him from burning the laptop. Talked to my husband, he just took the gasoline away from him. - [Operator] We'll get them on the way as soon as we can. - [Officer] What's going on? - So, he came over Tuesday and he asked me to look at his laptop. I said, "Okay." I said, "What do you want me to do?" And he said, "I want you to delete some stuff." He had some stuff on there, "I don't want on there, but I want it removed." So I'm like, "Okay, I'll just," you know? He goes, "I want the whole program removed." And I said, "Okay." And then he said, "Well, I want to put it back on." And I'm like, "Well, what's the point of removing it?" You know what I mean? So I'm like, "Okay, whatever. I gotta go get my kids at school." So then the next morning, which was yesterday morning, he stopped me and said, "Hey, could you look at my laptop again?" How you doing? - Hey. - And I said, "Yeah, no problem, I'll look at it." So I went over there and he had it open. I looked at it and he goes, "I want you to remove it," the same story. So I'm like, "Okay." I saw his windows that were open. One said, "toddler v****a." I didn't click in it, but I saw the windows. There's like six windows. The next two were maybe Russian. - [Officer] But did you see any sort of child p*********y? - I saw the tab. I have two kids, they're young daughters, so I'm like, "What the is going on here?" - Yeah. - So I go, "What do you want me to do?" And he said, "Just delete it." I'm like, "Okay." He was standing there. I didn't know what to do at the time. I'm like, "What do I do?" So I would've opened it if he wasn't standing there to see what it was. - Yeah. - But it definitely said "toddler v*****a." And I'm like, "Oh." And I said, "I'm done." I just got mad. And I just said, "I'm going home." So I called his wife at work and told her about it. And she said, "Well, I'm gonna come home now." I said, "Okay." So I guess she called him. He came back over here and wanted me to delete it. The whole thing. - This is today? - Today, yeah. Then I said, "I'm done. I'm not anything with this." And I let him have it. I yelled at him a little bit, I'm not gonna lie. "I have kids, you want my kids to come over there and sit with you all the time." I said, "I don't do it, I'm not doing it." And then finally I said, "Just please go." So I called his wife, told her what happened. She was on her way home and I was out here with her on the phone. And he had a dolley with this on. And I said, "What are you doing?" And he goes, "I'm going to burn the laptop." So he had the laptop with the lighter out back. And I said, "No, you're not. And his wife started crying. She's like, "I'm trying to get there." So I said, "Please go sit down, please." So he sat down. I went back in my house and like I saw him walking along the side. So I ran out really fast. And I said, "What are you doing?" He said, "I'm going to burn it." And I said, "Why?" He goes, "I want to destroy it." And I'm like, "Okay." So I grabbed this and I ran over here, called my wife. My wife said, "We have to call the cops." - [Officer] Where's the laptop now? - It's over there. - Is it in one piece? - I don't know. His wife came home. I was listening in and she said, "We're gonna destroy it, I want to destroy it. It's gonna be destroyed, I'm not gonna take it, and we're gonna destroy it." So, I don't know. She said, "I'm gonna take it to work." I don't really know what's going on over there. I wish I never saw it. And I'm like, "He has a granddaughter that's 12." - The neighbors had already painted a profoundly unsettling picture of the elderly man, identified as William Stafford. It was now time for the police to address the situation. However, it soon became clear that he had an enabler by his side, his wife Beverly, who seemed determined to cover up her husband's misdeeds. - [Officer] I'm a deputy with the County Sheriff's Office. How are you guys doing today? - We're fine, so far. - [Officer] What's going on today? - He's got dementia. - Okay. - And he tried to take the gasoline and burn the computer. - Gotcha. - And it was so close to the house that Mike called me. And said he was gonna, he's sick. - [Officer] Gotcha. Are you on any medications at all? - No, he's going to the doctor tomorrow. - Okay. - It's a new doctor. - [Officer] Gotcha. So how did all this start today? - What? - How did this all start today? - I had a computer and I had a program on it that I didn't want. So I asked him to get rid of it. - Okay. - He saw something and I don't know how. - [Officer] Gotcha, what kind of program did you have on there? - Hmm? - What kind of program? - I don't know, it's another search engine. I don't know either. - [Officer] Okay. What does that search engine do? - What? - What is that? I'm not familiar with that. - I don't know what it is. It's not a good program, I don't think. - One of those search things. - [Officer] What does it do? - Hmm? - What does it do? Is it different- - It doesn't do anything. - From Google? - Brings up things that you might look at. - [Officer] Like what? - Anything. - Okay. Then what else happened? So you had that search thing on there. - I asked him to take all that off. - Okay. - He saw something and I didn't even know it was on there. - [Officer] Okay. - I don't think he saw anything either, because he didn't have it very long. - [Officer] Gotcha, what else happened? - Nothing. - Okay. - He has two children. - I gotcha. - They're never over here. I would never do anything to a child. - [Officer] Okay. I didn't mention anything about that. - Well, there's nothing there. What'd he say? - [Officer] He was saying you brought over the computer with gasoline and like a dolley. - And do you know what the gasoline was for? He told me what he saw. - [Officer] Well, I don't want you starting fires in a neighborhood. - Yeah, he was gonna- - That's a good point. - [Officer] Because usually you start a fire with gasoline, it's gonna explode. It's not like diesel. Gasoline's gonna ignite very fast and you're gonna get hurt. - I haven't ever started a fire, ever. - I came home from work. Mike called me and he was gonna- - [Officer] Okay, so how long has this been going on with the computer? Have you asked him to delete the browser before? - No. - No. - [Officer] This is the first time this has happened? - Yeah. - Okay. You guys happen to have your IDs with you by any chance, or driver's license? - I have mine. - [Officer] Can you grab his too? - Yeah. - Thank you. - [William] I am so sorry. - [Officer] Why are you sorry? I was asking why you're sorry. - Cop cars in my front yard, for one thing. - Gotcha. - I didn't do anything. - [Officer] What do you normally, like on a computer, is there anything that you look up or anything or? - Oh, everything. - Like what? Examples? - The weather. - Weather and stuff? All right, I have a few questions to ask you. So, he has dementia, you're saying? How long has he had dementia for? - He's had it- - Has he been on- - Stage two. - Okay. When was the last time he was on medication? - He's never been, because I have a hard time getting him over to the doctor. - When was he diagnosed? - He hasn't, that's what we're doing tomorrow. - [Officer] So how is it stage two if he hasn't been diagnosed? - Well, I've just watched him for a while and I talked to people and they've had parents like that. - Okay. I understand he may be older, but he's heard me just fine through my conversation with you. - Pardon? - He's heard me just fine when I was talking to him. - Okay. - Okay. All right, just give us a few minutes. We're still investigating everything that's going on, okay? This laptop, where is it located? - I got it. I'm gonna destroy it. I took it away, he doesn't need it. - [Officer] Okay, I'm just saying don't do anything with it yet. I do have to call my supervisor. Once I have answers and more clarification, I'll come talk to you guys, okay? All I ask is that you guys hang out for a little bit, okay? - Okay. - I'm a school teacher too. - [Officer] Were you? - He's retired. - [Officer] What was the reason why you were bringing out the gas tank? - I was gonna destroy the computer. - [Officer] You're gonna destroy the computer? - Yeah. - Okay. - I asked him to destroy it. He wouldn't do it. - [Officer] Okay. Is it your computer? - Hmm? - Is it yours? - Uh-huh. - How long have you had it? - Oh, a long time. It's just a little laptop. - [Officer] A long time. If you were to guess, how long have you had it? - Couple of years. - [Officer] Five, 10, two? - No, not that many. A couple, two. - Two, okay. - I don't know how old it is, I really don't. - Huh? - I don't know how old it is, it's old. - [Officer] Okay. Now, where's the laptop right now? - I have it. - You have it? Okay. - She won't let me have it. - No. - Okay. - I didn't do anything. - [Officer] Okay, no one's saying you did anything wrong. We're just, you know, we're here trying to make sure everything's okay. - The audacity of the woman to defend her husband is truly mind-baffling. However, the cops aren't about to let this situation slide either. No matter how defensive she becomes, it's evident that her husband is in serious trouble. - [Officer] I'm gonna be very straight up honest with you. So right now there's allegations being made that there may be potential child p**********y on that laptop, okay? Whether that's true or not, I don't know. That's a different pay grade that has to deal with that, okay? I do have enough right now to go for a search warrant and secure that laptop. But you can hand it over to us that way. - No. - And voluntarily give it to us, but if we do go for the search warrant, I have every right to secure this residence and that laptop until the search warrant is done. Which could be today. - So you wanna take it? - [Officer] We want to take the laptop, yes. And if there's nothing on it, you get it right back and that's it. - He said there was. - [Officer] So, it's- - When you say "secure the property," what exactly? - [Officer] Secure the property, so I can secure everybody in here from tampering or touching the evidence. - You mean everybody's gonna stay out here. - [Officer] Everyone has to stay out here until that search warrant's done. And then we take the laptop and we leave with the laptop legally. But if you wanna surrender the laptop to us with consent, we get the laptop now and we get out of here. - What happens if I surrender it to you and then you find things on it? What are you gonna do next? - [Officer] That's not up to me. - That's the different- - [Officer] That's completely up to our detectives. - He hasn't done anything. He's just looked at stuff. - I understand. - He's got dementia. - [Officer] I understand, that's all gonna go into account. But this is not something I can just go back on the road and ignore. You have to see my position. How old are you, sir? - 87. - I don't know if they're gonna even push, like, you know, an issue just due to his age. Just 'cause that can be physically taxing, that whole process, okay? But as of right now, those are your options. - Okay. - I can secure a search warrant and then take the laptop that way. Or if you want to just hand it over to us. We don't look at it. We submit it to evidence and then the detectives pick it up and that's it. Just don't touch it. We're just gonna grab our gloves. - Oh, right here. - [Officer] Don't touch it, ma'am. Just leave it. - I just picked it up and was gonna- - [Officer] You're okay. Like I said, it's nothing against you guys. I have a job to do. - My fingerprints are on it now. - [Officer] Again, it's more of what's there internally. If there is anything, like I said, if there's nothing on there- - I've been trying to break it. You can't break these things. - [Officer] It's just one of those things we have to do, okay? - [Officer] Just point to him where it is. We'll take it and then we're gonna submit it, okay? - Why do you have another browser? - Okay. - Okay. And that wasn't coming from a threatening manner or anything. I'm not gonna sit here and lie to you. - Do I get anything in writing that you took it or anything? - [Officer] I can give you a case card with all my information and everything. - Okay. - Is there any additional stuff you wanna let us know? - That's the only thing he has. - Okay. - I have my own computer but he never touches it. - [Officer] Okay. Again, that's the only thing I have enough right now for a search warrant for, based off talking to the neighbor and talking to you. Again, I'm not here to lie to you. I'm just here to tell you how it is, okay? We're not gonna touch that laptop, that goes straight to submitted. We don't even look at it. - Okay. - That goes straight to our detective that's assigned for these kind of cases. And then whether they want to do anything with it or if they have enough probable cause to pursue criminal charges, that's gonna be on them. With that being said, I'm gonna go to my car, I'm gonna get you case cards, a bunch of information. Just hang tight here for two more minutes and then I can let you guys go about your day, okay? - Okay. - Because you gave us the computer, this is just like a written form stating that we're allowed to have it, that's all. And then any passwords for the computer? He would- - I have no idea. - [Officer] You'll be contacted by a detective. - Okay. - I don't know when. It could be earlier, like later- - Okay. - This coming week. Any passwords? - No. - Okay, that's it. As far as anything criminal-wise, that's not my determination to make, okay? Everything classified right now, it's a suspicious incident. That's what we're gonna classify it as. Because we don't know. - He hasn't done anything on the computer. - [Officer] You'll probably be contacted. It really depends on their caseload. - Yeah. - It could be next week. It could be the week after. - Okay. - Like I said, if there's nothing on the computer of evidentiary value, they're just gonna give it back to you and that's it. Again, that's not my determination. I'm not gonna touch the computer. My job is to transport it from here to evidence and that's it. - Okay. - [Officer] I write a report on literally what happened here and that's it. - Okay. - It's up to the detective to, you know, whether they want to pursue anything or, you know, kind of investigate it further. But like I said, if they feel like there's nothing on the computer, we're gonna come back and drop it off to you and that's gonna be end of it, okay? - All right, thank you. - [Officer] If you guys need any questions answered or anything like that, don't hesitate to call. - Okay. - We'll try to clear things up as best as we can, okay? With that being said, we'll get out of your hair, okay? I appreciate everything. - Okay, thank you. - Yep. - Take care. - You too. - Okay. - [Officer] Do you swear and affirm that everything on the statement is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge? - Yes. - Okay. - Like I said, what do I do in this situation? I mean, what if he comes over and wants to talk about it? - [Officer] I would tell him to leave. If you don't want him over here- - I mean, it's not, like I said, there's never been an issue before. I mean, he's nice. - [Officer] I would advise just to have everybody separated right now for- - Yeah. - Everything that's going on. Especially with your children, we don't know the circumstances, okay? - [Father] Right, that's the thing. Like, he's five and he's like, "I wanna go say hi." And I'm like, "You can't." - [Officer] Yeah, just stay separated and look forward to a call from the detectives. - The officers did indeed discover questionable content on William's laptop, resulting in his arrest and subsequent charges. However, he managed to post a $7,500 bond the same day. Kudos to the brave neighbors, though, for blowing the whistle. If you found this case concerning, brace yourself because the next one is guaranteed to have your blood pressure rising over the roof. - I am not doing anything! I'm not doing anything! the police got a distressed call from a heartbroken man who claimed his drunk girlfriend was being violent. The officers quickly arrived on the scene. As they listened to the man's story, it quickly became clear that an arrest was necessary. However, when they tried talking to the girlfriend, things took a turn for the worse. - [Officer] Hey, how can we help you? - Where to start? So my girlfriend was here, her phone was like all off and stuff. - She is down the street now and her dad is down there with her, but he can't calm her down. So just so you guys know, she's parked down the street. - [Officer] Okay. - This is her dealer's house. And I came here because she said she was at work and it was just my first guess she was gonna be here. So I drove here, I saw her car, and then her dad said that I should call the police because I don't know if she's kidnapped or hurt or anything. - And they've been trying to get her help for a long time. - And then she came out and then that's when I got out and was like, "Hey, what's going on?" And I was still on the phone with the operator at this time that she was, like, hitting me. Took my glasses off my face and screaming bloody murder. He came out, he was banging on my window saying, "Get the out of the house." I'm like, "I'm in the road. I'm not trying to start anything." I don't know what I'm supposed to show you. "Just coming back to fight everyone and beat the out of the cops. Coming back to fight," this what she edited. "Can't believe you called the cops of all people. Hope you never get to street skate again without a pig in your way." - Hi, can I help you? - [Officer] Are you Sadie? - Yep. - Take your hands out of your pocket for me. Take your hands out of your pockets, put your hands behind your back. - Why are you arresting me? - Don't resist. - [Father] Sadie, Sadie- - [Officer] You're gonna make matters worse on yourself. - My daughter, why is he being arrested? - [Officer] I will explain everything here in a minute. - [Suspect] I didn't do anything. Look at the marks on me. - [Father] Sadie, don't. - [Officer] Sadie, do you have any weapons or anything on you I need to know about? - [Suspect] No! I'm not doing anything. What am I gonna do. - Sadie. - Stop. - [Suspect] What am I gonna do? - [Officer] now you're getting charged with interference. I told you- - It's not even me. - This is gonna cost- - For fighting with us. - [Father] Yes, you're gonna end up costing this a whole lot more. - [Officer] Now you're getting charged with interference with official acts. We're not playing this game. - [Suspect] Please define an "official act." - [Father] Hey, listen to me. - [Suspect] Let go of my right wrist. - [Officer] You're gonna cooperate with us here from here on out. - [Father] She's just a little kid, man. Okay, so, Sadie all my partner was saying was that we believe you to be under the influence of alcohol. You're not being charged with it. We just have to have it documented, okay? So you're not being charged with it, okay? Your charges today, and the reason why you're going to jail, okay? Is for domestic a***e assault simple, okay? You're getting charged with domestic a***e assault simple. You're getting charged with interference with official acts, for pulling away from us and trying to get away from our custody. - I understand. - And then you're being charged with assault on persons in certain occupations for kicking me. Okay? Those are your three charges. That's all you're being charged with, okay? - [Suspect] What does that mean? - What do you want to know? - [Suspect] What are my consequences? - Well, so you're gonna be going to jail today, okay? - [Suspect] For how long? - So for the domestic, most of the time you'll see a judge in the morning and then they release you. - [Suspect] I stay the night? - You will have to stay the night. Females see the judge before males do, so you'll probably see a judge around eight o'clock in the morning. Okay? So, you're gonna be there less than 24 hours. - [Suspect] I can't do that. I just wanna go back to my dad's house, please. - Well, we can't do that, okay? And let me explain something to you, okay? With the domestic situation, we don't have a choice, okay? Because you've been together for five years, lived together, are in a intimate relationship, we don't have a choice in the matter, okay? Domestic assaults are a mandatory arrest. We don't even have the choice ourselves. - [Suspect] Look at me. - Okay, what marks? - [Suspect] Look at my face, my chin. We can put that into the case that this has happened. - [Suspect] You guys just believe who's called first. Can you fix my jacket for me? - [Officer] It's not that we believe. This is why I tried to talk with you and I read you your Miranda rights, okay? Because I have to read those to you before I can ask you your side of the story. That way you don't self-incriminate yourself, okay? But you didn't give me that chance. So now all I have is his side of the story to go off of. And that's why everything's gonna be documented as a simple, okay? Now if you want to tell me what that- - It doesn't matter. - There's been issues in the past and you're- - It doesn't matter now, anyways. - [Officer] You're indicating to me that he's been assaultive towards you in the past, and we can document that in the case and then detectives will follow-up. - No, they won't. - [Officer] Yeah, they will. - It doesn't matter though. I did, I really did. I asked to pay for it. - [Officer] Listen, here's the deal. You're going to jail for theft, and you're going to jail for resisting without, all right? So just be quiet. - Yes, sir. Please don't torture me bad. - What? - Please don't torture me too bad. - I don't torture people. - I understand you don't- - Don't look at me.
