Hi, welcome to What's on the Truck Tuesdays. My name is Battalion Chief Nyer. Today I'm going to talk to you about our incident command board. [Music] All of our command vehicles have this dry erase board that is pre-labeled out with what we need to get going on our fire ground scenes. If you look from the top down, we have our incident command section here. Accountability operations section says when we're going to need to do our PARs, our tactical benchmark. The main area that we use a lot of right here is our assignments for our units. And with the help of an accountability officer, because there's a lot that goes on back here uh during a a real incident, uh the accountability officer or an incident commander simply moves who they need to over here. I can set up different divisions that are up here as well. It's also capable of writing on. So if someone else comes up and wants to help out and they want to they want to write something down, they can say, you know, engine 109 has cleared rehab. We also have some blank ones here. A lot of times we get mutual aid uh units that come to us and we don't know exactly who we're getting. So we created these blank ones and these are real simple too because whatever is blank on there we can write whatever we want on here. Battalion 113 from Coconut Creek may come and help me out. I can write his name on here and put him right up here as the staging manager. Uh so it's just again it's another uh tool that we have that we can use. Again all of our command vehicles, battalion trucks, district vehicles have these on here. Uh, and it allows us to stay organized and helps with accountability on a fire
