clinging to the front of a moving School Bus while pounding on the hood but you haven't seen lever Duran tell his side of the story or how he handled it after being confronted by the police well complaintant what happened coming down the road the bus was beside me one of the students threw a juice bottle out of the bus I got out I stood in front of the bus saying stop the gentleman grinned shook his head no and proceeded to try to run me over 50 5091 is the bus number out there is where he tried to run me over he came down the road came up the road and came down here and stopped at the red light right here I tried to get him to stop again that's why I'm so upset I'm upset that one of the students the bottle you and hit the Windfield didn't break it you stood in front of the bus and tried to prevent it from Ming say again you stood in front of the bus and try to prevent it from moving did I find a bu I did you stand in front of the bus and try to prevent it from moving you're the bus stop so you st in front of the bus anded to he shook his head no no and proceeded to run me over try to run me over would not open the door would not talk to me you think that's the perfect thing to do is to step in front of a bus the children on board instead of getting the bus number and calling the police I never had this kind of incident before in my life the gentleman right there the bus driver is responsible for the behavior of students on his bus okay I'm do you have your license on you sir sir do you have your license on you 925 yes I do I give you my name can I see it you know kid bottom I just wanted to plus I think you need to be under more control of these kids that are on the bus did you see uh who what who threw the bottle no I didn't all I saw was coming out the window okay that's what I saw okay right now we're trying to get a hold of the bus figure out what their Side Story is and then there when the gentleman tried to run me over I DED that into the bumper and held one into the mirror was the bus driving with you on the hood you tried to run the over I climbed up on it and he kept on moving and he kept driving with you on the hood yes sir and I'm yelling stop call the cops call the cops stop and he just grin and kep W gone where did you get off the bus this is the only place he stopped so he drove from pyo Avenue with the neighborhood yep yes okay did he stop at all he drove from there all the way up all the way up and all the way back without stopping just that jump in the H of the car the bus so I didn't get run over yes he tried to run me over when the bottle came out of the bus and hit my windshield I stopped the car finally got out stood in front of him saying stop gave a br and started to move I The Bu run over I don't know the bus I don't know the school I held on all from there he made a left hand H came down made a right hand first came down made a right hand turn and stopped here because red light Mr you know two ofro so yeah he's going to say that I jumped in front of his truck well I understand I I understand both sides of the story I'll let you talk listen Okay side is this he may not have had knowledge of this kid he's driving the bus in front of I'm just being can understand now put yourself his shoes he's driving the bus he's responsible for these kids in the bus him not knowing you or your reason why you yelling and laying he was laying on the whole bus like this when he was hanging on and pounding on the windshield and I saw there were kids in the car and they were like you know yelling and everything and I thought oh my God I should call 911 and I said surely other people have called this in because like there were I saw people taping it on and she said no one has then I thought oh my God what if for some reason that driver opens the door because he seemed completely insane I he was pounding was screaming open the door open the door and that's what then I started to think oh my God if she would open cuz then the 91 one operator said did he seem to have a weapon and I said oh no I don't I don't think he had a weapon and why was he doing it I said I don't know I just came upon the whole scene as he jumped on the thing and then I thought oh my God if she would stupidly open the door she said do you think he would hurt anybody and I said oh yeah I think he would he was crazy I said he I definitely think he would 68-year-old lever ardin Duran might be a little crazy but he did take riding in the front of the bus to a whole different level he was charged with disturbing the piece disorderly conduct obstructing a school bus driver and destruction of property after he wrenched open the doors of the bus while the bus was stopped at a red light according to a witness he then got onto the bus to confront the driver the driver then sent the quote extremely terrified children to the back of the bus many hid underneath the seats all charges were dropped except the obstructing a school bus driver charge and the case ended without a criminal conviction he was sentenced to just one day of unsupervised probation according to his attorney he has no criminal history and worked for 18 years as a teacher in Baltimore Public Schools do you think he deserve to get arrested or was he right for jumping onto a moving school bus with children on it scolding the driver and pounding
