Appreciate you, Bob. Sir, >> Daryl was found injured less than a mile away from his residence. According to him, the fight had broken out with a man after Daryl confronted him. Later, witnesses would reveal hearing arguments about money related issues. It was clear that Daryl had some history with the man, but he wasn't conscious enough to share it all. He couldn't speak much, but he was coherent enough to drop his shooter's name. It was Hikim, not Kareem, who had shot Daryl more than once. Daryl was transported to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead the following afternoon. >> He's got one of those. >> He got one dead in the [ __ ] chest. One in the face. They just took him around the side. There's one coming out of his butt. I don't know if it's going down and but there's four showcases. >> So I wonder if he got hit four times. We might even missed another one. >> The one in the butt. Is it an exit or an entry? >> It looks like an entry. >> Yeah, >> it looks like an entry. >> I think he got hit three times. >> Everything happened in there. >> It happened there. He tried to make the door. The door was locked. That's why he fell down right here. crap out of here and they steal everything. And I'm saying, >> well, he said, >> I don't know if that anybody recogniz >> Parker uh Parker Park's just going with him. >> Okay. No, he get in there. >> Yeah, they did the typical house instructions on the back door. Don't knock. >> That's why you couldn't get in. right here. [laughter] >> Yeah. They're like, "Nope." >> I ain't I'm say he's not going to make it. >> God, we should have grabbed those two dudes. >> What's your dudes? >> Oh, the ones we pulled up. The geeks. >> All the geekers that were leaving. >> Yeah, it probably I didn't I've never been down here, though. >> I've never been to this house. >> Now we know these poor dogs, dude. >> Yeah. >> Pisses me off, >> baby. >> Camera. Camera. >> Oh, there's 10,000 outside. camera. >> Oh boy, we should have a lot of good video. All right. >> Yeah, >> I got one out back. My car's out back. >> They got to go in cars. >> One back in the back. >> Well, I'm going to have to go the around way or pull my car up front because that's our scene back there. >> Who wants the baby in the car? I'm see. >> Yeah, >> they'll send cars down here. They'll relieve us. >> Two blocks away. I can't Someone's got to get him. >> Just Just take him for now. We'll get someone to use the bathroom. My stomach is bothering me all day. >> What's that? >> Bathroom. I've been sick all day. So, can like I need to go like I can't move it. >> You go to the bathroom. >> Can you wait like 2 minutes? >> Where's Heidi? >> Not necessarily. >> Can you come here real quick? >> Can you just let her use the bathroom? Yeah. >> Where's it at? >> Over here. >> We'll probably just stop and roll through and just put it in the back. Unless there's stuff in there. >> Can I just make one phone call and let them know I don't have my phone? And his parents. >> Are you babysitting? >> Yes. This is my nephew. >> Nephew. Okay. >> Okay. So, they're going to take my phone because um they put me in the back of the cop car. So, uh, I have him. I have the baby. >> They want to come grab him. They can't. >> They They said you can come get him, but listen. I'm in car 120. >> 9120. >> 91 9120. >> 9120. >> Yep. You're at 19th and Muller. >> No, I'm parked at the end of the street. We're not leaving, right? We're just going to stand right here. >> Okay. We're just all witnesses. That's it. >> This way from somewhere. >> Yeah. >> Is he going to be arrested? Uh, I don't I I don't know. I can find out here for you in a little bit. Is that your >> My boyfriend. >> Your boyfriend. Okay, I'll find out in a little bit. >> Just got to get a little bit of information. Remind me what your first name is. >> Amelia A. >> Do you know who that was back there or what? Do you know what's going on? What were you laughing? >> I was in the kitchen and I heard some yelling downstairs and um I was just making food and I went back to my room and all of a sudden I heard like six gunshots. I heard like four and then like two more. >> Okay. You heard six gunshots and you were in the kitchen. >> Like six. It could have been seven. I'm not sure. >> Okay. >> I wasn't in the kitchen when I heard them. I was in my bedroom. >> And who else stays here? >> Um my mother-in-law. um my niece, her girlfriend, and um my nephew. >> So, you your mother-in-law, niece, nephew? >> Okay. All right. But you didn't see anybody. Do you know who You know who got shot? >> No. I I know who got shot cuz somebody said his name and I know who that person is. You know who it is? Okay. >> But I didn't see their face or anything. I just heard that he got shot in the face. >> And you don't know you don't know who was out who was out backwards at all. >> A lot better. >> Okay. All right, just sit tight for a second and I'll be back right. >> How are you? >> I'm ready to be done with this. >> Yeah, >> I get [screaming] it. >> I like waking up to this. >> Do you know that guy that was out back? [cheering] >> I just seen him around from time to time. >> The guy that was on your back porch? >> Yeah. >> He don't live there. >> What? That blanket? >> Yeah. He doesn't live here. >> H that's odd. >> Crap. >> People in and out. >> Wait, someone did give me Oh, where's my phone at? >> Yeah, I got to go to up back. >> Hello, Sergeant. Where's the camera at? >> Uh, I don't know. >> Out back, maybe. Um, lot of dog poop, so watch your feet. >> Uh, victim was out back. He was shot in the face. I don't know where anywhere else. Said a guy named Green did it. Male black wearing all black. Um >> why did he do it? >> I don't know. There's three victims or three witnesses or four witnesses inside. We still have one inside cuz he's has one leg and it's in a wheelchair. Three in cars. Oh man. D I'm shocked. He was still alive talking to us and right through his face and then one went into his butt. >> That one that one surprising but it could have like >> I can see his feet when he was talking to me. They were all busted out. >> It could have got like lodged in there and came forward. But that one >> just straight. >> I don't know if he had some bad ammo or what cuz that should have killed him on the spot. >> Yeah. Should have that would have been >> in the face like that. Yeah. I don't know. >> 40 or even a nine. >> Yeah, that should have done it. That should have done it. But >> he's a big boy, so he absorbed a lot of that hit >> in the chest. >> Yeah, dead center chest. It wasn't It was off a little bit, so it wasn't in the heart. So I think that's what >> might have saved him. >> He might make it just cuz it didn't hit the heart probably. I don't know. He was starting to fade on me. >> Yeah, he was. >> If they get him there in time, he might get lucky. >> Hi. >> He said he doesn't live at the >> Yeah, it's in 4K. >> He said green though. >> Kareem. >> Kareem. >> Kareem. >> Kareem. What did he give you a last name? >> He was He was tattoos. He said Kareem set he he was Kareem was blaming him for setting him up for something and that's why he ret Hendrickk or Hendricks. >> D. Yeah, his name is D. >> D E just said D. >> Hendrick. >> All right mug all over here. >> Did you hear the gunshots? >> I just went out back and I seen him on the back porch. I feel he was okay and he said I'm dying. I checked him. Didn't look like he was bleeding out, but you know, you can't out. >> Okay. Uh, so you were like, so you didn't know they were in the backyard in the garage or anything like that? >> Okay. When you called in, you said 15 minutes. You said, is that just what you thought about when it happened? >> It might even been 10 minutes. >> 10 minutes. >> But it was it was just so frantic. I didn't I could barely hear her on my phone. >> How'd she know he was back there? Uh, I guess she come beating on the back door. >> Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. Sounds about right. [clears throat] >> So, I was in my bedroom, you know, with my nephew. He was sleeping. I heard like maybe what door opens. >> Were you door shot or door open with the with the baby? My door was shut cuz I was on the phone with my um uh I was on the phone with my mom's best friend. My mom passed away when I was 15. So I was on the phone with her best friend. You know, we were just talking >> and uh then I heard that I heard that and I I I like kind of ran to the back door. I opened it. I asked what the just happened. Um >> so you heard gun fire, but it wasn't from inside the house. I was coming from >> It was definitely from like the back alley or something or the garage area. I'm not really sure exactly. I can't even be 100% with you cuz like I said, I was in my room. >> Okay. >> Um uh but I like I said, I heard like five or six gunshots. Uh my brother, my little brother ran to the back door and he freaked out and went home. He's 15. He he doesn't know. >> He's not around that really. So I told him, I'm sorry, but he's he knows he >> But he didn't see he doesn't know me. didn't see anything either. Uh, so I like my young body just went to 10 and I he the dude that got shot, he came to my back door and he had a his face, >> right? You know him or >> I've seen him like here a couple times, >> but he wasn't hanging out in your garage or in the back alley or anything? >> I don't think so. I mean, I don't Yeah, I've seen him here a couple times. Like he was here I think seeing my dad like he was my dad's friend I think. >> Okay. >> But I don't I don't really know. I don't >> Is your dad home? Was your dad in the house? >> No, he was taking my girlfriend to uh physical therapy. They're on their way home now. They're on their way here now. >> Taking your friend to physical therapy. Yes. >> You guys want to put a tape here? >> Also, >> he should be on his way back here now with her. >> Okay. >> Um >> so he left. But your dad's friend was Was this guy here before or no? You don't you don't call cuz you were in your room. >> You're okay, baby. Uh I'm not sure if he came after he left or if he was here before he left. I'm not really sure. I couldn't tell you. >> Okay. >> Like I was I was asleep until like me and him was asleep till like 12:00 and then that's when I woke up and then like I got up to go get me a bowl of cereal. I finished my bowl of cereal. I put it in the sink. I heard some arguing I think but I don't really know. I couldn't hear what it was about cuz they was outside kind of far away from the house. I think they were in the back alley when the argument was happening. >> So you like two you had multiple people arguing or just that guy arguing and then then what you heard. >> Uh it was like it was like I think like multiple people. >> Okay. >> I think it was multiple people arguing. I'm pretty sure I heard like two or three voices arguing. It was like loud screaming and then I heard pow. >> Okay. And then when you went to the back door, did you see anybody running away from there or you he you just went? No, they were all they they they it was like there was the tall skinny dude. I don't know if you got him. >> Yeah, he just got here. So, >> Oh, well, there's the tall skinny man. He was standing there. He came back. The only person I seen. >> Okay. Who all was in the house with you? There's somebody's in a wheelchair. And >> that's my uncle. >> Okay. And you? >> The baby. My little brother. And then the girl. And then >> Okay. But your little brother left? >> Yes. >> Okay. Like I said, >> what's what's his name? >> And he said he's 15. >> Yes. >> He's got he's um >> What's he wearing right now? >> Questions for him. His lawyer's name is Michael Hog. >> Michael Hogue. >> Michael Hog. I think someone said that the I think I heard somebody say that he he robbed someone. That's why he got shot [crying] >> for over $100,000. >> That's what you heard? >> That's what I heard. Uh before or after the phone? >> That was before. >> Okay. So, you could hear somebody arguing while you were on the phone. >> I heard something about uh he robbed someone for over $100,000. >> Okay. >> But this is your dad's friend that got you. >> I I believe so. I don't I I assume he was my dad's friend. He might have been somebody else's friend that was here. I just think he's my dad's friend. I don't >> Okay. I mean, it was like your dad and friends hanging out out in the back before like you left to take your friend or >> uh that I couldn't tell you. I was asleep. >> She's like, "Okay, I got you." >> I was sleeping till like maybe 12:30. >> Yeah. >> Daryl had died of the gunshot wounds and one would think that this was it. The investigation for this murder hadn't even ended when it would turn into a full-blown gang related incident in the days that followed. It didn't take a lot of work from officers to find out that Haikim had gang ties. His most recent run-in with law enforcement was in October 2022 when he was arrested after a high-speed chase in which he was accused of ramming the car of his ex-girlfriend at a Franklin pizza shop. After he pointed a gun at her, she drove away and he followed at speeds that approached 80 mph. Haikim was clearly a dangerous man and now he was on the loose. Hikim was already under indictment for Daryl's murder, meaning he was a wanted man. He should have been more careful or even gone under the radar. But events that followed were the complete opposite. On December 14th, 2024, Columbus police were dispatched to the address [music] where Daryl was living before he died. The caller reported a medical emergency at a home on the 13000 block of South Ohio Avenue, the place that was half a mile away from where Daryl was murdered. It was not a random event. According to the caller, he had gone to check up on Daryl's partner on December 14th. What he found instead was dead bodies. >> 911. What is the location of the emergency? >> Uh, yeah, they downstairs. Hey, I came over to my friend's house cuz he got killed on Tuesday. He got he got shot on Tuesday and um he got killed on Wednesday. So, I came over here to check on this girl. Well, when I came in the house cuz the door was open. It's a body up in here and them ladies shot in the head. No, I didn't see nobody else. I didn't see nobody else. I just seen I just looked. I was checking. I was like, "Yo, yo, hey, what's up?" Cuz I didn't want to go all the way in cuz I didn't know who it was. I came back out seen one of one of the neighbors out here. I'm like, "Man, yeah, somebody in here." But they see it said, "Man, go check on them." They got dark skin. I went back in check on them and as I started looking I seen blood. I seen like a I like a bullet hole in the head. >> Kick it. >> Are there doors? Are there dogs? >> Dogs are secure over there. >> Yep. >> Kick it. >> Kick the out of it. >> Stay right there. >> 122. Just know there are some 22s in the back and we're back here. >> I'm not seeing anybody back. >> You call us here. 23. you down. >> Okay. >> Yep. Ready? >> Columbus police, >> if you're in here, make yourself known. >> We're good. >> Columbus police, if you're in here, make yourself known. >> I got it. Columbus police, make yourself known. >> Columbus police here. >> Columbus police. I'll go with >> this. It's a >> [ __ ] >> I mean, there's another door. So, >> no. >> Ready? Can you see right here? victim in there. >> No, she's right here. >> All right. >> Police upstairs. >> Yeah. >> [ __ ] on cash. >> Yeah. >> All right. Watch what we touch. >> Yeah. There's blood all over the floor. Is there >> There's a trail. Someone was shot this way. >> Oh, yeah. Hey, we're walking through. >> Yeah. Everybody listen. >> There's two. >> Unless >> two victims >> right here. Right here. >> Hold on. Keep going. You got two victims. >> Hey, hold on. >> 113. >> Columbus police. >> I copy. Three victims. >> Start multiple medics. >> Three down right now. >> I'm going let police fire now. >> 113 to police fire. There's three three females all shot in the head. >> Let's get out. Get out. >> There's three. >> Yeah. >> We just got this. We They're clearing upstairs right now. >> That's the bathroom back there. We got three all shot. >> Okay. >> What do you guys got upstairs? >> You guys got the upstairs. Okay, >> let's uh Is there anybody out there? >> Yep, there's two out front. >> All right, let's let's re uh reconstruct the cruisers out there that we're not blocking. Um and then shut down the road east west off right there. Let's shut that down. East and westape. >> Yep. Get the tape up. Daryl's friend made the right call by not going deeper into what officers were now calling a trap house. Two more bodies were waiting for them, all shot in the same way. One victim also had a gunshot wound on her elbow, which suggested physical violence prior to their deaths. The victims were identified as 49year-old Dawn Clover, 34year-old Sierra, and 36-year-old Tiffany Parish. All three lived in the same house as Daryl, and it was a catch 22 for officers to figure out the connection between the four murders. This was deemed an extremely complex case by the detectives due to the number of deaths involved in the span of 4 days. The criminal activity was flagged as gang related. >> All right. >> Okay. Pat him down. >> Can you spread your feet, please? Thank you. >> It's a weird address. >> Do we know >> someone in the front yet? >> Yeah, that's what I was. >> Check the garage. And there's a U-Haul out front as well. Cleared the U-Haul. >> Just out front. >> Big as hell. Has anybody talk to their house? >> Yeah. Has anyone talk? Cuz they got cameras and everything at this house. >> I also want to get in their backyard and tape off part of that because it's literally their backyard is a crime scene. >> Just what I do run that tape from there to here for now. The whole like that's a garage. So that other house >> where all this is an open garage that is empty is connected to the backyard of 1333 which does not have the backyard. >> Okay. So this actual house is not connected then. >> No. Okay. >> Well the yards are like a king. >> Yeah. But what I'm trying to figure So this house that's their garage. They just have people living in it. Right. Yeah. >> And they have cameras all out the wazoo on every flipping side of this thing, which is also incredibly sketchy. >> So, >> we need to talk to these guys. >> I would say 100%. Yeah. Look at all these cameras. >> This is here. So, now >> the backyard goes through here. >> Yeah. Columbus play >> like it goes through enough to where somebody that might have been injured might have ran in their house. >> Yes. >> Hey, is your parents home? >> Are you the only one home? >> You and your brother? >> Hi. Can you pull your brother out to the front? >> Can you grab him, please? >> So, it's just you and your six-year-old brother. No adultery thing. >> No. We're going to make sure that there's no one hurt inside your house cuz there's a lot of people hurt behind. Okay. >> How old is he? >> How old is our the one you're talking to? >> How old are you, buddy? >> Is your brother coming? >> Okay. All right. If you guys can step on out. >> We just got to make sure no one's hurting here. Okay. >> Officer over there. >> All right. Columbus police. Anyone's in here. Make yourself known. >> All right. >> We got over here. >> We got downstairs. That's a nice >> clear over there. >> Dining, living, and kitchen are clear. Hold there for a second. 1333 South. >> Yes. >> McKenzie, is there a basement? >> All right, I'm coming. >> Oh, that's crazy. All right, ready. Columbus police, if you're in here, make yourself known. >> Sir, are you able Are you able to come home? We had a shooting behind your house. Why don't >> you guys come over here? Okay. Let's go over here. We can talk my way, too. We got >> you guys just sit back here. That way you ain't standing out here in this cold. Ain't nothing shoes going on. Just hang out in here. Okay, you guys are safe in here. [music] Got two really awesome officers right here. Me and Officer Gray. So, what's going on? What are you guys doing, huh? Hey, let's clear out. Let's go clear out and start securing the scene. Too many bodies in here. >> So, uh, they're going to be brought in. >> No, no problem. >> She's going to hang tight. Is she going? >> Yeah. >> I'm bring this one right here. >> Code one right here. >> They're all cold. one. >> Oh, she's still too. >> You got one upstairs. >> No, just three down here. >> All three one. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You sure? >> I'm positive with this one. We got liquidity and everything at >> right here. >> Yeah, they're stiff. Real stiff. >> Oh, >> it been a while. >> Yeah, at least an hour or two. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> I mean, burners are still on. >> You guys took the old lady off from upstairs >> today. >> Two days ago. >> Probably six days ago. Oh, >> you being terrible. >> Yeah, >> good >> trying. >> Appreciate you guys. >> Yeah, no worries. Same same to you fells. >> Should uh >> homicide doesn't let they don't like us touching. You think the burners are good to stay on? I don't want to touch. >> I would take I would turn that oven off. I would turn I would turn the oven off. >> Just turned off camera. >> Holy. Did you turn it on? >> No. See that cool still? It looks like >> that's weird. The [ __ ] See where it said oven heating that light just turned off. >> Yeah. >> You guys good with that? >> I would say I would say yes. We have it on our body camera. Just I mean >> can you reach with >> the hard thing is I couldn't tell who's I should have looked coming in here. I couldn't tell if the shoe prints were ours or somebody else's. There's cats running around in here. There's little bloody cat plants all over. >> Well, I mean, like we came in. >> They said, "Yeah, she's in rigger. They're in pretty pretty bad rigger." >> The possibilities of the murders being unrelated to the events of December 10th became even less when officers noticed a key detail. All victims jewelry and personal belongings remained untouched at the scene. This wasn't a robbery. It was targeted killing. And when Daryl's friends revealed that one of the three women had been his partner, the thread connecting both scenes became impossible to ignore. Their blood had also spread across clothing. Bloody cat paws over clothing suggested that the three women had been dead for a while. 3.40 caliber shell casings were recovered as evidence. >> What's the deal? >> Three females. >> All shot in the head. Looks like >> which spray >> all over. >> Front, back, >> side. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> Just one each. It's been a while. >> What's up, dude? >> Um, whole front. Everything's taped off. The only We still have traffic uh flowing. >> You don't have the reports down everyone that went in >> once I sge. Did you call 28? >> I saw you on the phone. cuz I can tape off southbound if it's >> so I didn't know I didn't know how long it had been. I just saw three victims. So I went to police fire and asked for multiple medics cuz I didn't >> was on your ear. >> Well, I didn't know I didn't know I would ask for multiple if I >> guys coming out was not like even on your channel was not >> not uh like it was unreadable. >> Oh, really? I asked for multiple because I didn't know if there was any chance to work any of them. So, I I just knew we had three victims. I would have called. I didn't know. >> How did you guys get the call? >> Came in as a shooting. Said that the people out back here went in and found uh they only said one person. >> I saw >> they didn't go far enough to find the other two victims. They said they >> walked in and found their friend shot in the head. >> So, we're like, "Oh, >> that's what I read the notes." I was like, "Oh, someone I wasn't going to jump that." I thought so too until Ava looked Ava was clear and she's like we got another one here and I'm like another what? She's like victim and I'm like oh my god. >> Then the other person walking in the kitchen they're like we got a third one in here. I'm like holy dude. >> So the red tape is you guys got to stay in there until what? Super >> actually red tape I'm not even supposed to be in here. Red tape's homicide only. >> I can't believe this happened like this and nobody called anything in. Oh, true. Is it Can you see a wing in the head? >> I don't see one. >> Good luck. Okay. >> They want it clear. >> Say what? >> They want to clear out. >> Yeah. >> When did When were you guys here? >> The har said he was here. Six days ago. >> Yeah. It's been a couple weeks for me and I there wasn't any of these. >> Those are cat. >> Those are from the cat. >> Yeah, I big old conic. So, yeah, what we'll do is we'll wait for dad. As soon as dad gets here, let's tape off that part of the backyard. >> Yeah. And then we were here, so we had this. No one came through there or anything. >> Dude, a flipping triple. >> That's nuts. I thought it was the parents, but the dad's getting McDonald's for the kids. It's wild though cuz you weren't inside their back door. They had that thing like barricaded >> inside the house. >> Yeah. They have like a 2x6 like thing that blocks off from there. So I wonder if they rent it and then the landlord rents that flipping. >> It's weird cuz there's an address right there. So it's like its own address. I don't know. >> And this is a whole separate address. >> Yo that he went inside and it's >> is it all men? What are the victims? >> I think it's all three women. >> Three women. >> Yeah. Someone owe someone money. >> God damn, man. >> 1018. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I'm not I'm not moving in time soon. So, we were in the backyard and like the neighbor in the front >> Mhm. They have a dog back there and that's where we thought we were supposed to go and there's just landmines everywhere. >> Yeah, it's a it's a super weird cuz the first couple times I've been like the first time I there was like an eight here but so I was at the front and it was this one. I was like >> Yeah. >> Okay. [sighs] Um like execution in there. >> Yeah. Three females all all on the head. >> Were they dressed? >> Yeah. I mean they're all users. This is just a big drug house where they all use that. >> Thankfully, the house had enough cameras to help officers gather footage and make sense of the murders. But the amount of cameras in a single residence also raised many red flags. Upon speaking with the neighbors, officers suspicions of this being a trap house were confirmed. One neighbor, Wendell, blamed the house for the poor reputation the area had earned. According to the man, the neighborhood had been improving in recent years, but this house remained in a terrible condition. The constant traffic of people was also quite concerning for families around who had considered taking the issue to area officials. >> Look around this property camera. >> Well, dude, this house has like 8,000 cameras. >> It's a trap. >> No, the one in the front. >> I don't think >> Oh, this and this should be the same. >> It's not. >> It's two separate addresses. They share. Dude, it's wild though because they obviously are not like do not like this because there's cameras all on it and they have their back door barricaded with a 2 by six. >> So, I bet you they rent or something and it's just it's weird. Super weird, >> dude. I I just did a quick glance cuz >> So, >> I didn't get I didn't I wasn't able to push far enough into the room. I just went upstairs and so I didn't >> So, I went I pushed into the room. So, this is what I will say this as as a new person. You need listen to it. >> On homicide, you don't look for no evidence. You don't do >> you clear it. You back out. >> Correct. >> CSSU will look for all the evidence. But as I was stepping over two call number three. >> Yeah. >> We were stepping all over that blood trail >> through the house. We want to make sure. >> So someone someone got shot farther up here cuz it started halfway through there. Let's go call the detective. >> I'm making the call. >> This house has like 8,000 cameras. Which one? >> The one that's uh shar on his way home right now. >> Oh, there there's several facing. >> Hey, what's the address here? 1013 >> 1331 >> 1331. >> Hey, we're out here at 1331 South Ohio Avenue. Um, I wish we had more information for you, but uh, right now we got three people shot and deceased inside the residence. >> Okay, I didn't go up there, so I just see how fresh sounding like this is connected to that other cop. >> That one that just happened on Mo. >> That's what it sounded like because the victim who died of that mower place used to stay here. >> It's a >> and so well what he's I I think >> I mean he could be inside small caliber >> or he just left >> Small Caliber maybe >> 22 >> 22 >> easy. >> Yeah, you wouldn't hear a 22. I mean I mean like I mean if these are homeboys and stuff or whoever silenc >> How's it going? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. How are you guys doing? >> Um shocked a little bit, I guess. >> Do you hear anything or >> No, I look I was just in that guy's house about a week ago having coffee with him and he hit on me and I turned him down. >> Oh, really? >> Um, yeah. Like we talked like I I thought it was the neighbors. So, as you guys were pulling in, I called him to be like, "What's going on behind your house?" >> So, no answer. >> No answer. >> Um, but like I don't know that we're we're more worried about Jazzy. He had a dog, a German Shepherd in there. >> There was. >> Yeah, >> there is no dog now. >> I think there was a pit. >> Not way in there. We're talking about this house. >> Little brick house right here. >> Right here. >> The one with a chain link fence in front. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> No, no, no, no. Across the street from that. 1331. Do you guys know the 1331 at all? >> Um, I know it's a drug house. >> You do know that? >> Oh, yeah. >> Everyone knows that. >> Everyone around and I just moved in. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. Like I literally we've been here since October 15th. Oh, really? You never look like I'm doing a U-turn. >> Oh, yeah. To take the baby home, you know. But no, didn't hear any. I was out here with the mail lady. She was delivering our mail and I we were inside opening presents literally out here with the mail lady >> and then all of a sudden you guys start flying up cuz she needed help with her mail and then now she couldn't deliver that. >> You didn't hear anything before? Like maybe 10 minutes prior to that? >> No, nothing. >> Nothing. >> But you know what? If there were gunshots, it's kind of kind of blocked that out around here. I mean, you get blind to that kind of when you live like either on right here or, you know, we used to live on the west side, so like you kind of >> No, I get it. >> Which but I I do know that that's definitely >> definitely a house. >> All right. >> No. >> What's that? Sorry. >> It happened at that house. >> No, no, that house. So, when it's a situation like this, we just try to make as big a working space as we can so it has nothing to do with any of that. Is somebody in custody or is there a killer? >> No, >> I just was a little worried. I don't really like more so than it could I felt like it could have been me if he did. And the other one um the dog. >> Yeah. No, I think the dog is alive. We knocked on the door and the dog seems to be >> happy as a clown. >> She's a good dog. She's Jazzy's a really really good dog. So, >> I mean the call came in, it seemed legit, too. Cuz they're like, "Yeah, I walked in. She's dead." prostitutes and stuff too cuz that old guy we pulled over like a week ago. >> That's what he was doing. He was paying for a little good time and then went on his wife. >> It's a triple though. Where the hell was the victim? >> They're all females. All head shot. >> At least they're learning marksmanship. >> They're all pronounced or they're all head shot. Do you see? >> She went in and uh saw >> I saw one of my partners in there. >> One sitting in a chair, one's in the living room, one's in the kitchen. >> How clean were the head shots? >> Right here. >> All of them in the same spot. >> I didn't see the other two. We [ __ ] see the first one. >> In the forehead, though. >> Yeah. It was like right here. >> So, probably not. It's probably There's good marksman. I was going to say I doubt it. >> Probably we're laying down just >> Well, >> it's a small quarters. It's tight. >> It's tight in there. >> Do you hear any gunshots? Anything in the last 24 hours? >> She pulled up. My daughter was here, so that's why I'm >> Is she home or Guess she is. She was just by herself. >> Hey, I'm nosy. >> See what you get for being nosy. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> All right. I just was scared. >> We We had a shooting in the back. >> So when I hit the corner, all I seen was >> Mhm. >> police and tape and >> Oh, no. I'm okay. I'm good. And I'm calling you. >> I didn't get no call from you. I'm So see how he lost me. >> I'm I didn't hear anything. I call >> last 24 hours. Have you heard any gunshots? >> Um no. All I heard was that dog to be honest. That dog is going to get hurt. >> I hope everybody okay though. >> Does the dog bark all the time or >> Yeah, [laughter] normally. Yeah, normally it do bark all the time. But I haven't heard normally I hear trust I can hear everything but I don't I didn't hear no shooting or anything. I didn't hear nothing. All right then. >> Do you know any of the people that stay in that little >> in that little yard? That little thing over there? >> I know they I know they Asian, but I don't know about >> No, but my cousin used to hang out with him and he overd him a couple about a year ago probably. >> So I I don't talk to nobody over here though. >> Yeah. But I know they they've been in the back. I called the police a bunch of times about them being in the alley and hanging out behind our garage and stuff like that. So, >> drug users. You know what I'm saying? >> The usual. >> Yeah. >> All right. Appreciate it. >> Yes. >> Um, there's a possibility some detectives may come over here. I want to talk to y'all. Just want to let y'all know. >> Okay. >> So, you guys >> All right. Thank you. >> Anything else? All right. >> All right. I'm a real discerned guy, right? >> Oh, yeah. >> You know what? Cuz I heard uh Woodard talking about what he was holding in certain places, >> parts of the alleys and stuff like that. Do you >> what you want to do? >> Do you know what all they were holding? >> Oh, I think they're just blocking the roadway right now. >> Okay. I don't actually need it up front anymore or not, man. >> Huh? >> I don't know if I'm going to be needed up front or not, man. Yeah. >> Hey, we're just going to put some tape right out here just so like the media and everything doesn't come up on your own. If you need to leave for whatever reason, just flag someone down and let them know and it shouldn't be a problem. >> Okay. Thank you very much. I'm just seeing how far back we can kind of push this. Okay. We're just making a big scene. >> Yep. Um if you uh there will be some detectives coming out, so you know have any information. Basically, what we're doing right now is just making this a big scene so cameras don't get up and everything. If you need >> to leave, well, if you need to leave for whatever reason or like go pass the tape, just kind of wave someone down, let them know what's going on so they don't think you're just waltsing through. >> All right, I'm getting ready to come. This is my wife's pardon. >> Okay, your wife wants to come in that alley. Just watch. just get getting off here. >> Okay, >> I'm going call her right now. >> Okay, thank you. >> Can you see if you can get that on there a little bit >> on that brush? >> I cannot say anything right now. So, I'm sure someone will be by to to talk with you later. I got a polit. >> I'm officer Ward. I understand you're upset. You want to smoke? >> You want to get a cigarette? I got you. >> Okay. >> I believe Officer Brooks already spoke to you, correct? >> Yes. At the moment, you are. So, we're we're holding you for now. That doesn't mean that anything else is going to come out of it. >> Detectives, things like that. But if you want a cigarette, we can try to work on getting you a cigarette. >> Yeah. >> We didn't actually go, did you? >> I never got into where they're at. Three females all head shot. >> And it looks according to the medic like they've been there a little while cuz you can also see the dry blood where the cat walked through it. That's dry. So, I don't This house over here has a ton of cameras. I don't know if they work or not. >> Do you know who found them? >> The >> Yeah, he's in 111. >> He came in the U-Haul. >> And there's like a ton of like stuff, clothes, all piled up, guys. >> It's what we expected inside. But it's weird because it shares the yard with this address, that house, but there's like two separate addresses. So, I don't know if the guy's like renting this out or probably what it is is the landlord somehow got two separate addresses. That's considered a carriage house and he rents the front and the back. But apparently, this is kind of interesting. The house here with the 18,000 cameras has the back door basically barricaded. So, apparently they know that that's a sketchy. >> They have both of the doors, the back and the side both have like two spots. Can't >> do that. But I can definitely do a bottle of water. It's even cold. I'm not going to do that before detectives get here, but I just I wouldn't say anything right now. There's a camera behind us and they can pick up all kinds of stuff. So, for right now, we'll just wait and you can tell them everything. >> While witnesses reported a brawl before Daryl was shot, the three women were quietly killed in the house on a normal day. Someone who had been in that house just hours earlier described an ordinary night, hair getting done, conversations running late, no sign of what was coming. The motive for the triple homicide was never officially revealed, though the case report listed drugrelated circumstances for all three victims. Meanwhile, rumors of a serial killer on the loose circulated throughout the southside. Then on December 15th, a SWAT team moved in on Hikim and took him into custody without incident in connection to the triple homicide that followed Daryl's death. In total, Haikim faced 15 counts. Among them, aggravated murder charges spanning both scenes. According to court records, he didn't pull the trigger himself. He confronted Daryl while an associate carried out the shooting, pointing to a deliberate, coordinated attack. He has since entered a not-uilty plea and remains behind bars without bond as the case works its way through the courts. This concludes the report from our investigation division at Twin Scope Cops. All individuals involved remain presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Thank you for supporting verified and responsible case analysis.
