officers were dispatched to a residence after a woman called 911 to report a domestic violence incident involving a firearm her 10-year-old grandson had told her that his mother had left the house floor and he's running out looking for her now all right and he said someone had a gun yeah he said that Samson that lived there had a gun that's H it's like drips but it's definitely going out of the house huh what hey it's Frank are you guys coming back out here they did have problems they have had problems here before um with other DV stuff um okay the door is not kicked in mhm yeah that's what this is going to be a crime scene then they can yeah you're going to clear yeah cuz he doubled back again and I that he just popped out of nowhere like he honestly it's like he was in the house mhm yeah I don't want to just stay off the blood obviously cuz we don't know what the this is the officers were deeply concerned knowing that a 10-year-old was out alone at this hour of amidst fireworks and celebratory gunfire in the air finally the officers were able to contact the mother who refused to cooperate yeah you guys clear we're covered dog we're not going to that crime scene up touch that 33 just 43 a copy got one about this this is not um looking to trying to get a ping on this phone so we got to find out obviously something happened you got table flipped over and you got so so he's working on him right now iding him seeing if he is W he is um yeah Hatfield said that but I mean we still have to verify ourselves that he's actually going to be W so um we didn't do any call backs or anything did we for didn't nobody [Music] anything so so he's saying he's saying he stays here with the lady does live here but it's not his kid and then like when we initially detained him cuz he he was out back somewhere and he just came waddling around we're like hey where do you live he was like right here like come here and then it's like you got any weapons he's like yeah I got a gun it's new ears like okay well I don't I don't I don't know just I wouldn't worry about that we just need to find out if there's anything that's even close to that that's called from this number then we need to call them and find out what the deal is how's it going we don't even know yet so he has a prior conviction of uh I was going to say okay got some 49 stuff I'll put in a separate bag just okay hold on you I'll do something okay run somebody run the gun yep I'll take care of the gun okay run the gun um call somebody somebody call I'll I I'll well let's get out I can be hey that we're not calling yet hold on yeah so what I'm saying is let's just wait cuz if this is going to be a DV thing then we're going to have to call them I think he's got the female on the phone right now okay Frank so supposedly she went yeah she went somewhere and she was all beat up thanks man appreciate it you yep she went and dropped the kid off over the family member's house and her face is all up so we'll wait and see because if that's the case then she she told me great great grandma Yeah it's yeah it's whatever so okay black CH is what she should be okay the suspect was legally prohibited from carrying a firearm so he was placed under arrest and received a Weapons Under Disability charge thank you detective Dale for walking us through these heartbreaking stories do you think these Reckless
