stop what are you doing [Music] okay stop what are you doing engl okay stop okay when you see blue and red lights stop okay you're speeding in a school zone see the speed limit 15 limit yes you're going too fast no you're going 27 over a one two seven who seven yes you okay the speed limit 155 okay okay do you have your license ma'am lencia no at the house okay registration vehicle reg the car yes regist ation Tango 31 Spanish speaker please little momento okay I'll be right back little momento so we pulled the vehicle over the driver's going 27 and 15 school zone and when I put my red and blue lights on she wouldn't pull over to the right so then I put my siren on to get her attention maybe she didn't see it my car with the lights and even with the lights and Sirens she decided to keep going so then that's when I got out of my car I had to knock on her door to slow her down and get her attention and then she threw her hands up at me like I was the one that that was causing the problem I also realized that in the back seat her her young child doesn't have a seat belt on which is uh a very big deal um seat belts save lives and they protect people so we're going to get a Spanish speaker here because she doesn't speak English and we're going to see what the reason was for her speeding and why her her kid doesn't have a seat belt on so after getting a Spanish speaker here she's claiming that the seat belt was taken off after the vehicle stopped I didn't see the seat belt off during uh the speeding infraction so I'll give her a break on that I'll take her word for it hello I'm sorry you passed the light you passed the flashing yellow lights FL yeah for the school zone you thought you were out of the school zone all right yeah you kind of never slow down you slow down a little bit because you're going you know the speed limit 45 and then you slow down to 37 I'm adjusting to this car I'm sorry all I have my car I can show you my driving Rec do you have your license on yeah where you heading to right now to work I work right down with pharmacy technician okay I'm sorry I'm just trying to I I understand that but you're driving a 4, 5,000lb vehicle and if you hit somebody going 37 it's going to hurt someone or kill someone all right that's why there schools zones so that people slow down and people were more safe in the school zones let me check out a couple things okay I'll be right back all right thank you I'm sorry yes ma'am I'm sorry it's too late so she told me that she's on the way to work right now she just got the car recently and she still getting used to the vehicle uh nevertheless here's your license back I am issue Citation for the speed already pass the the thing they no you weren't all right but just please drive safer okay hey how you doing I'm officer try with Co Springs police and I stopped you because your speed and then you would probably change lanes when you were coming off State Road 7 we're doing an episode of traffic Thursdays right now shut yeah so that's why I have someone in the car with me but is everything okay cuz you're going a little fast and then you kind of cut someone off coming off State Road 7 did you miss your turn I got you do you have your license on you do you work here I don't work here gotcha I mean when you're driving like that you're kind of asking for it either that or you're asking to get into an accident you got to remember there's people with families and cars and if you hit someone you could potentially hurt someone for the rest of the life driving like that thank you I got the unmarked I got the cool car man so I kind of blend in with traff so we stopped the driver for going 70 mph he was in the Middle Lane once he was in the Middle Lane he missed the exit ramp so instead of going down the street and doing a U-turn like you're supposed to he cut somebody off conducted a rapid unsafe Lane change and then he ended up coming on Sample Road so this is exactly the type of stuff that we're trying to deter people from driving aggressively in the City of Coral Springs
