Please not only resisting you guys can get in here. [Music] Come here. Anybody else in here? Nobody else in here. No, it was the guy that came and made sure I could come in my apartment. On June 6th, 2024, a potato-headed woman decided logic was overrated and tried solving a missing package mystery by setting her neighbor's door on fire. Yes, her grand plan involved lighter fluid, tissue, and a whole lot of nonsense. Caught on camera mid arson, she played the confusion card, then flipped to full denial mode. Welcome to another episode of Self-Sabotage brought to you by Pure Chaos. Hey, Whitney. Hey. Hey. I'm Detective Hails. Hey, do this is Detective Osborne. Do you care if we step in and talk to you for just a minute? About what? Uh, just an incident. You at the wrong residence? No, we got to step in and talk to you. Do you have to technically have to come in? Well, no. You can step out here if you want. I mean, what's going on? Well, that's what I got to step in and talk to you. It's going to take a minute. I mean, you can step right in. Can we step in and talk, please? I mean, there's nothing going on. So, you step out here and talk to us outside. Come on out here and talk to us. Okay. What's going on? We got to talk to you about the incident over here last night. I don't know nothing about no incident. I wasn't even here last night. You weren't So, was anybody in your apartment last night? There was an incident here where this door got burned last night. I don't know nothing about that. I don't know what y'all talking about. So do what? Either you were here or you were asleep or you were I was not here. I was gone taking care of my business. So Okay. No one was in your apartment. No. Do you have a child? Yeah, I do. Does your child stay here with you? No, she doesn't. Okay. How's your child? You said what? How was your child? I mean, I I refuse to talk. What? I refuse to talk. Okay, step out of here. Step out now. What are you doing? You're under arrest. Do not resist. Are you serious? Let go right here. This wall now resist against the wall. Put your hands behind your back. I said get my phone. I told you go. I told you put your hand. What? Sir, somebody can talk to you, please. You just told me you didn't talk. Can I talk to you, please? I promise I'll call. Can I please talk to you? Can I please talk to you? Resisting in the moment. You guys can get in here. Can I help you? Please can I help you? No, you do not. Can I use my phone? Can I talk to you? Yes, you can talk to us now. But why? Why would you resist? I didn't resist. Is there anybody else in here? Clear this. Come here. Anybody else in here? No, it was a guy that came in here last night. Who else is in here? No, it was a guy that came in and tried to come in my apartment. Okay. Cute. If you lying to us, she wants her phone. I'm going to grab it for her. Just the phone. Where was the phone at? The mental gymnastics here deserve an Olympic medal. First, she was home all night. Then, magically, she was out with friends. Suddenly, she's refusing to talk, claiming innocence. And next thing you know, resisting arrest like it's a sport. Officers could barely keep up with her back flips of logic. Add a sprinkle of fake confusion and voila, you've got yourself a onewoman circus of contradictions starring denial, deflection, and pure drum. Did you see the lighter flitting? Yeah, it's in there. When I looked in that closet for people, your phone? Yeah. Okay. I'm going to walk with you outside. You still want to talk to me? Yeah. Okay. Well, you're detained at this point, so I do have to memorandize you first. Okay. Are you want to explain the situation then? I wasn't doing anything. I just busted my nose and my face. I needed to see medical attention. Your nose isn't busted, by the way. Got to use my phone call in just a minute. Yes. After you talk to me. So, do you want to explain to me now what happened last night? Did nothing happen last night. I didn't do anything. I was in my apartment. You told me you were gone. I was in my apartment sleep. My boyfriend, my baby daddy came and take me. You told me no one else was there. He came and take me to pay my bills and rent like he normally do. I'm gonna show you something that way you can I just want Listen, all we need is an explanation. I just want to know why it happened. I'm gonna show you something. That's you right there throwing stuff. This is you. Are you watching it? I want you to see it cuz I just want an explanation. That's the lighter fluid that's in your apartment. All right. So, I just want an explanation is all I want. What What did she do? What did she do? Did she do something to you to make you mad to make you do that? Or I thought that somebody was trying to go outside. I had a dream. That's what I did. You had a dream? Yeah. Okay. And then you just woke up and did that? Yeah. What? You know that lady? I had several packages. Some of them I You had several packages? I think she steal stuff. I have packages that I haven't had. So, you think she stole your packages? Yeah. And that's why you did that? Did you know she was over there? No. No. Then why would you do it if she stole your packages, but you didn't know she was over there? I I just I just needed a truthful explanation is all I need. I just thought she took a package cuz I have several packages. I've seen the sign that say that she steals. You seen a sign that says she steals? Yeah. What sign? That say the what? This. The what? Say theft. You know what she's saying though? It says theft. Theft on on the internet? No. On her on her door. On her door. It says theft. So I I'm just trying to trying to get a picture of why. You understand what I mean? So, you're telling me it's cuz she stole packages from you? Yeah, I had several packages that came with prison. Okay. How did you know she did? I mean, people say that she steal. I mean, I see the sign. So, people say that she steals. So, you just believe that she stole your packages. So, you just decided to burn her apartment down or what? No. Please explain it to me a little bit more in detail if you don't care. My dog [ __ ] She Somebody's trying to dream [ __ ] Somebody's trying to come my house cuz I always see the light come on and so that's what I did. No light was on though. The light normally come on. People be walking past my door. Yeah. But when you first started opening your door the it was dark and then finally when you step in the hall the light comes on. Was it the lighter fluid? Did you use the lighter fluid that was in your cabinet in there? Is that what you used? What kind of rags was it? Was it paper towels or rags or paper? Paper towels or toilet paper? Regular like paper you write on. Okay. Ah, yes. Beat the ever delusional package vigilante, a true detective in her own head. According to this unstable, flamethrowing philosopher, she lit a fire because of a dream, a door light, and a sign that supposedly screamed thief. Armed with lighter fluid, and pure nonsense, she took justice into her own chaotic hands. Who needs proof when you're guided by vibes, gossip, and wild imagination? And then why keep doing it? Why multiple times? eventually stopped. Well, yeah. When the fire department got here, you stopped. I mean, I there's there's video. Like, I'm not lying. I showed you part of it. You did it like multiple times. Three times, actually, that you lit and the fire got over halfway over the door, right? Is it because the light was coming on or is it because that she steals packages? Because the light was coming out and she still So, it it's because the light was coming on and she steals packages. That's why you did it. Okay. I mean, there's video footage is what I'm saying. That's how I can tell you that your boyfriend wasn't in it. You were the only one in there, correct? Right. So, did you think she was stealing something or something? I'm confused. You like Cuz you tell me that it's because she steals packages and the light came on. Yeah. Like she steal packages and light come on. Okay. But I mean, do you think burning someone's apartment is right just because they steal packages? No. No. Okay. I mean, what would be the right thing to do? doesn't have the situation alone or called the police, right? You know what you did is wrong, correct? Yeah. Yeah. Is that the only reason you were mad at her? Cuz you think she steals packages? Yep. We got to take you up there. If you want to talk some more, we can talk to you. But why can't I just talk? Like I answered all the questions like why am I still detained? I'm like, you understand? You understand what burning someone's apartment down is, right? I'm doing I'm in my apartment doing nothing there, you know. I mean, it was So, tell me, is there always people in this in this apartment building? Yeah, it's I mean, it was an accident. It ain't like I tried to do it. Listen to me. Is there always people in this apartment building? Yeah. Okay. 24/7. There's probably someone in there, correct? Right. Okay. So, what happens if you catch it on fire and everybody dies? It's called homicide. You know what I mean? I cooperate money on my finish cleaning up. We can't let you go. I can't let you go. I mean, I'm not doing nothing. Like, can I go in my apartment? So, I'm finish cleaning up like I normally do. I'm in my apartment all day doing nothing, cleaning up. Can I just finish spending up doing Until you try to light the other person's apartment on fire? Light nothing on fire. You already clean up my apartment. You already tried to light something on fire. What happens if you would have killed them? Huh? I'm not letting you go. Period. The end. End of story. That doesn't make any sense to let you go. You know what you did was wrong. It was Can I just go in my apartment and just go as then you decided to resist? No. Then you decided to resist. I did not resist. Can I just Can I just go? Let's go. No, you can't go in your apartment. Can I just go and go? We have to calm down. Do you care if we go in and grab the lighter fluid out of your apartment? Yes. You You don't care if we do? I can grab it. So, after setting not one, not two, but three fires, this self-appointed fire fairy still claimed it was all just a harmless little misunderstanding. Apparently, flicking flames at a neighbor's door is her idea of conflict resolution. All because the hallway light came on and she had a feeling about stolen packages. And when reality hit, she wanted to go back to cleaning. Girl, you nearly committed homicide, not house. That's going down, please. You're pretty calm right now. I'll be okay. So, you want to go in the apartment and grab the lighter fluid for us? Yes. Okay. [Music] She going to go in and grab the lighter fluid for us. Is this it over here? Yes. Is this what you used right here? Yes. Okay. Anything else that you used? No. Where's the towels? It was baby. It was tissue. Where's your lighter? Oh, I used the stove. You used the stove to light it? Was there any burnt towels or anything? Did you bring any of the burnt towels back in? No, I didn't have any. What were you burning? She said paper. Oh, okay. Okay. So, you use the stove if you didn't have a lighter. All right. Let's go back over here. I have your phone. Okay. You can have it. We have our keys. Your keys? Where are your keys at? So, we can lock it though. Are they in here? I'm not going to court or what? Yeah. You'll have to go to court. Okay. Just let me go to court. I We can't let you go. Not listen. You tried to burn You tried to burn my ass. Just let me go. Hey. Hey. Which key locks the door? Yeah, it is. This one. Can you just please? What? The keys. Please just let me go. I I listen. I can't let you down. Please. I know you're calm now. You've been calm the whole time. Please. All right. But you understand what you've done was wrong. Try to Can you just please be calm? You did try to. It's on video. Can you just please let me be calm? Not right now. You understand? I'm calm. Can you I'll talk to the state attorney. You are calm. Yes. 100%. All right, let's walk back out here. It's a little warm in here. Okay, I guess those are the keys. I don't know. [Music] We're going to go to this squad car over here. Nothing on your person in any area that I cannot search. Is there meaning in your pants, shirt area that I can't search? I made nothing. Just let me go. I I I can't let you go with me. Please let me go. You You've got to go to court first. Do you understand? Just let me go, please. Listen, the quicker you get up there, the quicker you get to court. Okay. Can you just let me go? I can't let you go right here. I'm sorry. All right. I didn't do it. You did though. You You tried to burn an apartment down. Can I use the phone make a phone call? Yes, you will be able to make phone calls if you give me just a second. All right. She kept pleading like she's starring in a soap opera. Please let me go. I'm calm now. Meanwhile, she was far from calm. Despite all her crocodile tears and pleading, the officers weren't binding. Court was waiting, and no amount of sob stories, or fake calm could change the fact. Actions have consequences. The reckless woman was charged with arson, damaging property, resisting arrest, and trying to block the police from doing their job. Looks like she really wanted to turn up the heat, but now she's just cooling her heels behind bars. In the end, if you enjoyed the video, hit that like button and drop your thoughts in the comments.
