McCarry was a veteran teacher, while the 33-year-old Williams served as a junior high and high school math instructor for the Wells Independent School District. Together, they held the responsibility of shaping young minds, but the explicit images found on Michael McCarry's phone of a girl, alongside a video of McCarry's girlfriend engaging in a act with a dog, raised some very serious concerns for the investigators. Forensic interviews and medical reports had revealed a harrowing truth. The victim was Williams' own daughter. Now, this new charge is in addition to a charge of possession of child and cruelty. According to the arrest affidavit, a child made an outcry on April 28th. Now, that child claims that Williams had touched her inappropriately inappropriately, excuse me, 2 months earlier. Williams and her boyfriend, Michael McCrary, In February 2026, the legal chapter for both former teachers finally closed. Michael Scott McCrary was sentenced to 10 years in prison and lifetime sex offender registration. Hillary Daniel Williams, who had been re-arrested in June 2025 after bonding out, pleaded guilty and the abuse of her daughter. Officers arrested 46-year-old Michael Bailey for public indecency, a class four felony due to prior convictions. He was processed and later released with a court date. The case has been sent to prosecutors and he will face a felony public indecency charge in court.
