on June 22nd 2024 officers noticed a vehicle driving recklessly and speeding the officer saw that the driver a woman had a child in the back seat which raised concerns for safety the officer initiated a traffic stop to address the dangerous Behavior they have not yet advice a full wir all the way down [Applause] how's it going today good how are you not too bad you got your license in your registration with you un roll the crack window sure no that's fine how are you upon arriving at the scene the officer instructed the driver to stay inside her vehicle for safety reasons the officer then requested her license and identification to verify her ident identity and ensure she was legally allowed to drive oops sorry I just have no freaking AC just left my family dinner gotcha gotcha results indicated that she was indeed under the influence of alcohol that to be open or close close John how many seconds was that I like when I asked by my eyes were supposed to be closed I added rber yeah how far off was she like over under 5 Seconds was she how far from the 5 Seconds was she she was at that like 20 seconds so she was 10 seconds off yeah okay the officer began summarizing the events of the sobriety tests including the walk and turn test the nose to tip test and the breathalyzer results he explained that the female had failed to perform well in all the tests which indicated approached her her father began cooperating with the officer seeking to understand the situation he recounted details about the family gathering noting that the female had sustained a traumatic brain rain there though at the party and stuff there's a lot her mother and I are going through some stuff a lot her mother and her are having some issues a lot of family issues she was very sporadic M very emotional okay she's got traumatic brain injury she's gotten that when she was a younger kid on a four-wheeler accident okay so she's when her motions she's uhhuh roller coaster she's bipolar so she has these ups and downs where she can be very manic do you know if she takes any medication for the bipolar thing do she taking anything for the bipolar she's she has traumatic brain injury just told that but she's not taking anything for the bipolar right like prescription medications or anything like that it might explain what's going on I mean she's 30 so she could be either she's better doctors there might be something going on between her and her doctor yeah I mean she yeah she did take some things but I don't really need cl cl or something like that but blood pressure medication those are all things I can clear up with her later on I'm talking to her but I mean as far as you know no like uh you know medications that we need to worry about and make sure that we get out of here to bring with us no okay no okay no but she she does get very I was just saying e at it like very like manic ups and downs roller coaster with her emotions her um her dramatic brain injury was in her impulse Center so um yeah that doesn't help her with her impul yeah it doesn't help her control things sure sure yes do you know of anything that she's been taken recently as far as drugs pot it's the only thing that she's you know SM pot okay probably like an everyday sort of thing if I had to guess right yeah it's legal now the female's mother arrived at the scene and began cooperating with the officers providing details about the incident the officer informed her that they had found a significant amount of illegal drugs in the vehicle he explained that these drugs would be taken into custody as evidence and that a separate investigation would be initiated regarding the drug rated findings this development added another layer to the case complicating the legal situation for the female and emphasizing the seriousness of the situation right right no I get it I get it it's just not necessarily illegal to do it and then get behind the wheel of a car and almost hit somebody head on you know what I mean somebody yeah so I so I was behind her and um she was sitting at the intersection of wwor Ontario uh and ridge just south of tops there she let the whole light cycle go through um motorcycle turns left in front of her then she finally goes through we almost missed the light cycle I'm going the opposite way so all right that's kind of weird so I turned around got behind her and she is like all over the road she's over the middle she's back over the shoulder she's over the middle like four or five times I'm like okay well that's weird just as I was getting ready to you know pull her over she's in the opposite lane and other cars coming Northbound and all of a sudden she had to Swerve over to the side in order to avoid the head-on collision so she like turn around trying to yeah he's got infection or something yeah he's got all day his eyes has been MH so that's that's kind of what led all to this stuff so what we need from you guys is um is there a safe place we can take the baby yeah you guys can go and maneuver around if you want to take the baby in the truck or if you want somebody to just drive this thing whatever you guys want to do this car is fine unless you don't want to drive it then I'll tow it no it's it's our car no don't want you to tow it okay have not okay no okay let me just move all this stuff this has got to come with her just in case she needs it that's what she wanted okay and then the rest of that stuff's got to come with me okay this that the other okay is that a problem what this yeah yes this is a problem so is this okay
