This is the front desk. Oh, >> I'm sorry. >> What time this chick leave? What cab company she use? Is she Uber or what? Metro. >> Metro. Hey, this is Sergeant McClody with the Panama City Police Department. Um, we are at the days in on 23rd Street. Did you guys happen to pick up a Malaysia Johnson sometime between now and probably an hour or hour and a half ago? Her son or 2-year-old here is now unattended. We're trying to track her down. Apparently, she left in a cab. Apparently, she's on her way here. According to the cab company and the number I just called, who's her friend that the cab just picked her up and she thinks she's coming here as well. The cab company tracked them down. They said they picked a girl up from days in and brought her to Lizenb and they just picked a girl up from Lizenb to bring her back to the day's end and he believes that's her. He gave me the number. I called the number. It's her friend. She said, "Yeah, I think a cab just she just used my phone to call a cab. The cab should be getting here any minute." So hopefully the cab and the friend are accurate and there should be a cab pulling up here soon. >> That could be great. >> I I didn't look. Yeah. That is that a cab? >> Are you Malaysia? >> Yes. >> Okay, come on in here. We found your child running around. >> Oh my god. >> Uh the hallways and we found the babysitter who has a warrant. We've been trying to get a hold of you. >> Wow. >> Wow. >> I did not know that. >> Okay, we'll step on over here. He's going to want to talk to you in just a second. [Music] where she >> in the back of the police car right now. [Music] >> Something you want to get uh her up here. >> Need to talk to her too. >> I definitely do. I mean, she's 10, right? >> Check her to station. Just stand by. >> You good there? >> If you need someone to go relieve you, you anything else from us about money? >> Absolutely not. >> Okay. >> You guys are phenomenal. I mean, you guys want to love me. >> In the end, the mother was not taken into custody. Instead, her friend was booked on charges of child neglect and faced additional unrelated charges.
