good yeah uhhuh how about youself I'm good the man was clearly traumatized by what he'd witnessed Renee had nothing to do with theur murder and was later released his brother Rayo Mania was charged with murdering 29-year-old Tanya Rivera and two counts of aggravated assault on April 3rd 2022 police were dispatched to the condominium unit of only fans model Courtney clenny in Miami Florida when they arrived they saw clenny covered in blood cradling the lifeless body of her boyfriend Christian obam Sally no no no I can't let this wait it wasn't me guys guys relax relax why no guys relax relax [Applause] relax what's going on relax you guys pleas relax okay okay sit down just let me down okay okay okay baby come here just sit down sit down the cops quickly arrested clenny obam selli was taken to the hospital because clenny stabbed him with a kitchen knife the cops took her to the hallway to clear the crime scene covered in blood and frantic clenny acted like she was concerned about her boyfriend wa is he dead down no I'll sit down I just I just scared he's not dead as he uh no they're taking him to the hospital right now he's in the hospital right I I need to be at the hospital with him oh you're not going anywhere why because we're conducting an investigation it was fre it was self I mean I was self-defense I mean my mom was on the phone you're okay well listen the detectives are coming you're going to talk to them and then you're going to explain your but I'm going to be covered in blood I look crazy I was holding him while he was hurting blood trying to stop the blood even like tell okay so you guys started arguing then what happened um threw me against the wall CH me and you're looking like this he's never like chok to we like it's like okay but like I mean I couldn't breathe then he put me on the so he throws you against the wall then he put me on the ground choky that's happened two other times tell you anything to um she like like that kind of face like where I was really scared and I was trying to get him off I me he would get off then he gets off then I call my mom okay and then I was like I went into the other room and I was talking to her and I was like crying and saying like like something is happening like I don't know what's going on with Christian it's strange how she's switching from being concerned about her boyfriend to painting the man as her abuser one day prior to this incident clinty wanted her boyfriend to leave after breaking up with him but he refused since obam selli was a legal tenant and hadn't done anything illegal the cops didn't force him to leave and I was I was just like crying whatever and then like I went to the kitchen and he started like charging at me and I said like I'm going to like reset you he goes do it and they charged me up me through but he was far away and I never in a million years like like I'm I'm scar a statue at you no no no it was the the the um knife I said like I was just holding it to be like please don't come anywhere near me at this point clenny admitted to stabing opam Sally but said it was her only option left after he' pinned her against the wall and later charged at her in the kitchen my boyfriend water all over I know but you can't unfortunately you can't go in there you can't you can't 4220 43 69 okay here um I have um on on the inside on the inside full couch but on like the couch just like a loose like comfortable shirt I think there's like t-shirts or whatever in and then and then there's a pair of gr NS according to the front desk attendant conflicts between the couple were fre during their 4mon stay in the condominium during the course of the investigation police also found text messages between them and videos recorded by obam Sally proving that in this relationship clenny was the aggressor I need I need I need to go to the hospital fine that's fine I toal after can I say by can I say by I'll be right back boys I'll be right back okay baby don't this is my number you [Music] me he already okay the knife used in the incident went 3 in into obam's shoulder in a downward Direction which is not consistent with what clenny later claimed during the interview at the police station clinty appears genuinely surprised that obami did not survive have to inform you that Christian did not make it okay um unfortunately the doctors did what they could and Christian is dead oh my God Clint's been in jail now for around 2 years awaiting trial clenny was charged with second deegree murder in the death of Christian obam Sally for parents were also charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly trying to help their daughter cover up evidence of the killing they allegedly accessed obam's laptop which Clint's father discovered in the apartment they shared next we come to the highlight disturbing case of University of Utah student McKenzie luck after a California trip for the funeral of her grandmother luck returned to Utah and took a lift ride in the early hours of June 17th 2019 3 days later her dad reported her missing yeah I'd like to get if possible have a wellness check done on my daughter and I've been trying to get a hold of her and her phone just tends to go to voicemail I was just wondering if I could have somebody maybe go by her house and check on her police found Luck's car parked at her home in Salt Lake City but luck herself wasn't there it turned out her lift drove her to hatch Park which is 9 mi from where she lived the driver said she seemed fine and he dropped her off without incident eventually a man claimed he'd met McKenzie weeks before and she mentioned she joined an adults only sugar daddy dating site tracking her profile police found the man she'd met at hatch Park a 31-year-old male site user named aula AJ aayi so she stopped responding once I sent her my pictures I thought maybe she just doesn't want my type of race so I just stopped responding to her is there any else in there let's make sure gloves in the police search of AJ's residence turns up an overturned mattress and reveals the smell of bleach an Airbnb guest staying at his property was asked to leave while police performed their surge hi it's the police department um are you renting this room yes okay um we are going to be serving a warrant on this house I just is there anyone else in this room get my no nobody's here just me just you am I going to be able to come back in here um it may be a while but I will be there and I don't have a phone but if you guys walk in have we sit where you can see me all right AJ so is that where you'll probably be yeah unless want me to stay I'm happy to stay no you're welcome to leave if you want to I just if we wanted to come talk to you is that where you think be yes okay all right good luck man AJ was high on the cops radar being the last person McKenzie had spoken to and having written a book about murder and burning bodies aside from that he'd also been previously investigated for rape and assault but unfortunately no charges were filed and then here's some more well that's piece of paper 11 but does that look like a bone or um hard to determine I haven't touched anything but looks like a newer black possibly Apple phone police determined that the bone they found came from a human they also found a Charged smartphone burned clothing and what looked like a piece of scalp with hair still attached to it what's going on man so te are ready to talk to you about everything that's going on real fast so you want to come I'll give you right back to the house real quick but there's fck news I know I'm going to drive you back in my car it's a Camry so we'll stay we'll stay away from the news yeah we're not going to go by the news I don't want my face on the news I will do that so it doesn't Okay so stand up real quick go we're just going to are youting me or something no no no stand up then why you you're going to be detained for a little bit you're being detained but just for a second okay I got to put you in handcuffs just while we're driving her policy we're going just going to go talk to detective for a little bit why anyway because you need to talk to detectives and I need to transport you back so my policy says every time someone's in my car they will wear handcuffs so that's why they're there's a news they come right new we're probably not going to take we'll take you to another spot so you're not by the news Okay further investigation using cell phone records showed that AJ and McKenzie had both been at the park at the time McKenzie went missing on AJ's phone the police also later found child abuse videos including one showing a four-year-old child so think about that for a second and put yourself in their shoes and then start being honest with me we have had a week and a half now to prepare and we have been very busy because I care about McKenzie and I want her I think you did care about her I agree and I I know that there's more for you to tell me and you're holding back and I don't understand why AJ I just told you that your phone records and the location put you up at the meet do you think honestly and expect me to believe that you ended that conversation and somehow you and her and her location end up in the exact same spot oh I'm not doubting you if I see that too if I'm in your case I would be asking myself what are you asking me right now it's not a miraculous question yeah I I agree with you stuff doesn't just happen no yes I agree with you I'm telling you to explain that and so far you have not well how do I explain something I don't know are you saying you don't know or you don't remember because those are two different things AJ police continued investigating eventually retracing AJ's vehicle to a canyon outside Salt Lake City they found her burn purse there and ID cards in the river as well as burned human tissue containing DNA which match the remains found in AJ's yard AJ was charged with aggravated murder aggravated kidnapping and desecration of a body he was also charged with 19 counts of child pornography AJ was sentenced to life in prison without Parole in January of 2018 Brian Walsh entered the lden County Virginia home home of Rishi manwani and his mom Mala manwani police later got a call from Neighbors who reported hearing gunshots at the manani residents and went to investigate we saw a body saw what we saw a body that's right okay all right okay that's fine we saw about okay you're good right there so yeah hold on hold on get put she have a call or anything secing right now we found the cops do their best to take care of a scared dog inside the home as the neighbor repeatedly tells them he saw a body in the Home Police conduct a search of the residence and find the dead body of Mala next to the front door [Music] for C 731 East Main Street Bas first huh Bas yeah um J check over that way all as they continue searching the residents police look for clues of what might have taken place leading to the death of Mala they scour every room looking for evidence and possibly there may be other casualties in the house lives in the no right next all right downstairs during the search officers begin to smell a strange smell the house is quite large so it takes a while for them to check every nook and cranny while also staying alert considering the killer might still be lurking around see I smell I smell it yeah I'm coming through the smell gets stronger as police approach the utility room next to the water pipes they find something lying in the corner of the basement that was strown with old furniture though it was something they expected to find it's still a pretty gruesome Discovery I smell something that's weird first smells weird smells like burn oh [ __ ] he's right here there he is a gunshot wrapping up the search police have now located the body of rishy manwani they've not yet searched the garage but they immediately went back to report to the commanding officer about what they found did you Che the garage in case but feel like burnt popcorn I started to I thought he was going to be hanging in there cuz there was all the [Applause] pipes we can't tell we didn't want to touch anything is it BL his head it smells like burn popcorn down the basement the man responsible for the double murder turned out to be Brian Walsh a friend of rishy and a fellow drug dealer Walsh received two life sentences from a Virginia judge in 2021 the final clip in our compilation comes from a disturbing homicide that occurred on November 21st 2021 in Jonesboro Arkansas everything started with a 911 call from a distraught man1 where is your emergency hey yes I need uh AIC over here find 30-year-old Sabrina Benson unconscious on the floor the caller who was also her fiance was on top of her [Music] [Music] just [Music] make for [Music] [Music] medical Crews desperately try to revive sabrinaa Benson while doing their best to save her her fiance shadra Ward stands around shirtless acting clueless about what's supposedly happened to her yeah just [Music] started after intensively trying to revive Sabrina with CPR they load her onto a stretcher and put her in the ambulance yep yep yep don't [Music] unfortunately moments after arriving at the hospital Sabrina is pronounced dead Ward claimed that they'd been drinking with friends and later after coming home she called for help and he'd found her unconscious on the floor what what know I'm worried about her you need to come down bro h we don't we don't know we're just TR to Ru that out somebody's going to come back later and say don't come the other options we're going to get a start Ward's friends triying to get him to calm down but he seems intent on escalating the confrontation and is extremely defensive he gets even more agitated when the cops mention they'll get a warrant Dam dude you shut the upill the [ __ ] out talking about take what he's a eventually taken to the police station and later questioned by police who listened to a sad story of a family breakup and a lengthy past criminal record I wasn't who I was when I first left and being in a lot of trouble and all that you know we we all make mistakes Yer yeah yeah that wasn't a life that I want to live anymore you know I just wanted to get out get a job take care of be able to support my kids feel a part of my kids life and give them that I didn't had over right set the example for them yeah I definitely know that because Ward eventually admitted he'd gotten into an argument with Sabrina and then strangled her until she was unconscious his attempt to call 911 and lie about what happened failed badly and he was sentenced to 70 years in prison for first-degree murder when police arrive at murder scenes they could never fully anticipate what's waiting for them often times they don't just end up having to solve a mystery but they also have to witness the gruesome scenes that seem to be pulled right out of a horror movie we hope you like today's episode and that you'll join us again next time
