crying police have extremely important jobs to do especially when children are involved unfortunately we live in a world filled with all kinds of dangers and predators when that happens police turn the Predator into prey let's find out what happens when missing children realize they've been found how old do you if I ask you that question again I'm going lose my mind how old are You2 oh you up on the 19th of February 2021 valua Deputy Royce James was on the hunt for a potential 22-year-old Predator from Orlando his Target a 13-year-old girl who went missing she was suspected of being checked into a hotel or motel with a man in Edgewater Deputy Roy started his search at a Dollar General Store where she was last seen basically I'm missing a um a juvenile left school and um possibly was picked up by a guy here I I'm kind of wanting to get an idea of who he is and what time am I going to look for I'm looking at today from school gets at around 3:15 is so I'm thinking 3 to 3:30 I mean is that like a super super recent picture though she says she looks pretty much like this it looks pretty close to her after Deputy Royce found a positive match on the store security system he was led on a trail to the missing girl according to the girl's grandmother she never came home or went to her after school sports the officer proceeds to local hotels hello um hey my name is a deputy James I'm wondering if um a juvenile and another person checked in here earlier today I Haven have you seen that her no she would have been here with an unknown probably male with no luck at the first motel the officer proceeds to the next one in situations like this time is of the essence so he's hustling to track this girl down hello Hi how are you okay I'm looking for a juvenile that looks to be ran away from home today and we have information she may have checked in to a local hotel with an adult um this is what she looks like um any check-ins today oh one check in before I came in police then asked a school friend of the missing girl about her whereabouts apparently her plan was to meet a stranger she met on the internet at a motel her school friend couldn't remember his name so the officer narrowed his search down I'm investigating a um a runaway juvenile okay that supposedly checked into a local hotel okay today with an adult most likely I don't know what he looks like or anything um this is what she looks like all right someone checked in earlier when I was in here so let me check oh perfect okay is there a name to that last yeah well her she's only 13 so I I don't know the person she's with so it would have been whoever she's with yeah she doesn't even have an ID she's again only 13 you know she's an older person you have no idea the person she's with no clue well check out this person that checked ooh where's this guy I think this is him they said his name started with a t possibly Tyler Deputy Royce found his Target thanks to the cooperation of all these employees it's here at the allset motel on Ridgewood Avenue in Edgewater that Tyler is possibly committing a serious crime front office anybody inside we need to come in for a second Sheriff's Office back up have a seat on the couch where what's up sweetheart Sheriff's Office get happy up here go in the bedroom and wait for me for a second how old are you how old are you just waiting there for me are you okay do you need are you hurt at all you're not hurt at all your stomach hurts okay we're going to be right with you okay it looks like the officer walked in at just the right time this 13-year-old girl clearly knew something was terribly wrong and she ran for safety into the officer's Arms This Predator has been cornered before anything devastating happened to this girl so what does he have to say for himself how old are you if I ask you that question again I'm going lose my mind how old are you 22 oh you up yeah you up real good yes I am I found him how old is he too old all right I'm on the way copy you sure you're okay sweetheart Tyler Thompson was charged with interference of child custody and traveling to meet a minor Tyler was released later the next week on a $115,000 bail from belua County Jail do you think he deserves harsher punishment at around lunchtime on March 29th 2024 a 3-year-old boy went missing in the woods near his home in Delan Florida the police were called and they deployed a canine unit to track him down hey are you on can you stay here this isting yeah doesn't mess up the [Applause] the Kine officer follows his Puff's lead to the end of the trail at first it looks as though there's nothing there but then the dog starts to whine and the officer hears something hey come here buddy we at I'm coming I'm coming I'm coming get him Bubba find the Bubba 5 11 Central I got them not all heroes wear capes some wear a collar and a leash this K9 did an excellent job of of tracking down the boy in less than an hour but has the boy been harmed correction five off of 15 I'm sorry come here buddy come on I'm going to take you home I'm going to take you home okay come [Music] on I found him [Music] hey buddy your blanket come on good boy kayen Midnight's efforts paid off and the boy's finally home the boy had no injuries and no charges were filed against the parents for negligence negligent parents are one of the biggest dangers to a child's safety on the afternoon of March 16th 2024 an anonymous tip was received by police about 27-year-olds Alysa Langley and Timothy Stevens this couple was found in Daytona Beach Florida endangering their own children Timothy is the woman's fiance and the child's guardian and both of them were breaking the law [Applause] W what's up guys Sheriff's Office time to wake up time to wake up hey guys y time to wake up guys hey Sheriff's Office wake up need sit up come on get up get up welcome back sit up why can't have alcohol in the beach you got ID huh do you have id id my ID you crime and drinking in public but neither of them seemed to have any idea where their kids were when they realized what's really going on they both started drunkenly scrambling hey where are they go Timothy's half-hearted attempt did finding his missing kids makes me think he doesn't care all that much If You observe closely his demeanor and what he does next confirms my suspicion whatever the case because Timothy was intoxicated in public the cops placed him in handcuffs yeah hear everything else she passed out you're supposed to be watching over the K so put the ph up there I'm try [Music] in your hand it's work work yeah something you wouldn't know about it's not very nice I don't care I need you to come get the kids me and Timothy are both being arrested is somebody able to come get kids come get the kids the alcohol on the beach and childhood can tell can you tell them where we at not allow to have any beer at the ilal it I thought it was not glass nope glass is not allowed but neither Al what happens is people get drunk and when they drown Ur negligent people like these two make a cop's job harder than it needs to be the other officer makes sure the kids get collected by their family is there any excuse for Behavior like this I only have like two beers two is still illegal two is still illegal two is no the cops here kid this this lady is the only person that's been nice him him everybody else has been heads so now we both jail who the is going to bond us out no one exactly now my grandpa has to drive 8 hours to get the goddamn k no I want to I want to listen to what my cpal has to say I want to make sure my kids are taken care of I don't I'm sorry but the window him and him I don't trust I don't trust them no in the truck she said in the truck can you just wait window I want to make sure my kids we're going to make sure they're taking okay so tell them to come over here and let me listen to what my grandpa's saying he's writing down the message right now I can't hear nothing in the I'm telling you to get in the and I'd like you get in yourself theck thiser so they're going to take care of them they'll feed them they'll clothe them and they'll be comfortably waiting grandfather arriv okay you to get the did you catch what she just mouthed to Timothy although they're both equally responsible it looks like she's blaming Timothy at least the cops care about the children unlike this drunk couple dra this up too long want to get this over with let's try to get this over with okay you got it stupid call an ambulance please hey all guarding it hey wake up wake up my heart goes out to the kids who have to call that man their dad Timothy got charges for child neglect possession of alcohol and an attempt to escape custody Alysa here got a bad sunburn and a child neglect charge luckily the kids were found at the hotel pool both parents were sent to valua county jail on June 27th 2018 a Savannah Georgia mother called the police when her child went missing near a wooded area in Port Wentworth the mother's child Kamaya vix had been gone over 18 hours going to be one of our c for stand I'm trying to get position we got you Lord I love you thank you been here a long time hang baby over here over here in the need to have contact with a child confirming go see your mama you ready to see your mama okay she's I need to know immediately what kind of status you have uh healthy condition uh no visible scrape marks no uh she's a child that confirmed the leopard shorts and uh purple gel shoes tell them to let me talk Tas Force prep to go child doesn't small Tre next to the canal she's wearing the clothes that were described leopard print bottoms and a white T-shirt has a few has a few cut cut and the biggest surprise here is the child's condition after having been lost for so long how did a 2-year-old make it through the night all alone out there law enforcement had lots of people on the ground looking for her and the relief on their faces was clear hello baby how sir here any order here you go M good job guys yes hang on I can't hear you you go woohoo oh yeah got a little bit of watero not a lot can you believe how deep they trecked into the woods to find her 18 hours is a very long time that cop's probably a father himself the way he's protecting and cradling that brave kid the officers made their way back to the base camp to deliver the good news in person want you want my number yeah let's get her under the shade I got em com so where exactly was she you know where she was exactly um I don't know the location I just know that if you uh if you when we were on the line yeah we kept going straight and there's a fenced area like with up to here and we just kept going going and she was past the tree I know where it's at if I if I go man I had the guys go back in us on the and back no no no no so we can go back here let me see what I'm doing ready now Not only was the child later hospitalized to make sure she's okay but her mother was there too which makes this a sad story with a happy ending unlike our next story no charges were necessary in this case on the 2nd of February 2024 in Medford Oregon a 24-year-old suspect named Justin Ryan trometer was on the run for a long list of charges involving child neglect domestic violence robbery theft harassment and reckless endangerment unfortunately this felon fled the scene of his latest crime with two kids in the back of the car the man was trailed to Jacksonville Woods where police arrived to a disturbing scene sheriff's office if anybody's in the vehicle show yourself now Sheriff's Office I can hear kids crying Sheriff's Office watch down I got [Music] up front of the car can't believe this hi little guys this is freaking horrible R get D here we want medic sweetie yeah let's do it hi how are you you have such pretty blue eyes I'm there we're out with the children uh I'm there can we get a whole D ask need to respond immediately and medical code one the bottom of where the gates at for the children check on yeah are you okay baby just make sure he's not hiding up there you all right baby these kids are only 6 months old and one-year-old the Jackson County Sheriff's Office deputies determined that they'd probably been left in that car for over 2 hours to make things worse fenel and methamphetamines were found in the car so the officers secured the scene I don't like this dude I getop let's secure them in our cars yeah at least just take the whole car seat it's okay go all the way to the top of wagon trail you'll come to a gate that's now open follow that up you'll come to a house at fors hi baby I'm sorry sorry I know oh no do you want out here I'll get it for you you want it you want to come out the officers are on edge with such vulnerable kids in this dangerous area but that doesn't stop them from being kind to them you could hear the joy in that kid's Voice once the police stepped into to help them the investigation went on and Justin had definitely been in the area so these deputies are still on the hunt so he just sent that location right yeah so we're not far behind him no game's up and he abandoned a couple kids this is unreal man I'm my shoes up given his history I'm surprised Justin even bothered to put them in the booster seats the children were taken for medical inspection then later handed over to the human services department currently they're still in the care of DHS and their felon father is still at large accidents happen I get it but parents are supposed to be the first line of defense against danger and yet it was up to the police to step in and be the heroes these kids needed so when missing children realized they'd been found we're
