Get over here, ma'am. I saw you. I'm telling you right now. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Get over here. Get over here. Get over here. Move up here. Stop. He's got two seconds to make up his mind. Okay, drop your purse. >> No. No. I want to get my daughter, please. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but a mom convinced she's above the law is a whole different problem. But, there are ways to snap her back to reality, like how these cops taught an entitled mom a lesson she won't ever forget. You know, I'm trying to get to work, and mind you, this guy has his pepper spray out, spraying me, and I'm walking my son, and he gets my son in the eye. On July 23rd, 2024, employees of a shop were trying to defend their business against an irate customer when a woman, despite being with her children, inserted herself in the situation in defense of the madman. Yeah, I had picked this gentleman down the road up to give him a ride here to Dollar General, and he got down. I don't know what pissed him off. He was yelling and talking to me and all this and that. And so, this guy's yelling, "Help me!" Whatever crap. I get out of the car. I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" You know? And he's spraying me with the pepper spray, mind you. And I don't even know what's going on. Doesn't explain himself or nothing. He The guy's yelling for water and stuff like that. So, he's coming around, getting close to my car, getting close to my kids, trying to take my license plate down. And he's spraying his pepper spray. As he's spraying his pepper spray, I'm covering my kids. So, all my back is covered in pepper spray. Yeah, so my kids got sprayed. This gentleman sees everything, okay? I sprayed him cuz he got close to me. I felt threatened. So, yes, I sprayed him. The woman, Angelica, told the officers that the man she dropped off had fled the scene. To get to the bottom of it, the officer spoke to the employee inside the store. This guy, he's filling up a shopping cart, going throughout the store, and I'm I know what exactly what he's going to do. But, I've seen it before. And sure enough, he comes through here, acting like he's going to pay. He comes right right by me here. And I let him go cuz I already had the front gate locked. I had the doors on off, and I keep this open manually. I opened the doors for him. He went through, shut the doors in behind him. I lock it, and I called the sheriff right away. He started beating on my glass, and pounded the [ __ ] out of my door. I pepper sprayed him, calmed him down, and he stopped. He did for about 20 minutes. And then he got crazy again. She He was having communication with her 100%. Bring me water. And she [music] was in my face, coming up on the sidewalk. I was like, "What's going on? What's going on?" He knew exactly what's going on. So, so you busted this one right here? >> Yeah. Busted him. And he went into the store, went out the back door. And a customer saw him at the laundry that he's definitely at the laundry mat. The laundry by the car wash over there? And and I'm not saying I'm lying or anything. She's lying. I watched that man get out of the car. And I watched her spray him first. Well, she said she picked him up down the street. No, it's her ride. No, she didn't. He was all there. He had pepper spray. I can't breathe for anything. I'm done. How long ago did this happen? I'm done with the car wash. Just She just The lady right there that's getting in the car, talking to the officer. They just told me this. They just pulled up. And he's at the laundry. And he went out the doors, getting into the laundry. 246 24. Police provided the officer with a description of the male suspect. They clarified that he didn't physically harm any of the employees. To back up their story, the employee reviewed surveillance footage with the officer. His foot. Oh, he kicked the door in. There he goes. There he is. Yeah. What color? Okay. If that's why the pepper spray happened, and the only way I think she could have gotten it on her kid is if she touched him after that. >> Got it from her, yeah, because I was directly behind the car when I sprayed mine. So, he's coming this way. My son Mind you, my son, he has autism. So, he's jumping around. Yeah, trying to get out of the car seat and stuff, you know? So, I'm trying to get to work, and mind you, this guy has his pepper spray out, spraying me, and I'm walking my son, and he gets my son in the eye. Yeah. Now, I had to clean and wash it out. I washed it out. And mind you, he's getting my license plate down, and he's like, "Oh, you know, you sprayed her." And I'm like, "I don't even know him. I picked him up down the road, and I brought him this way." If I wasn't covering the door, and he came in through the front of the door, he would have sprayed He would have sprayed inside the car on my It seemed the employees were onto something when they claimed Angelica knew the suspect. Although she worked as a Lyft driver, she wasn't working that day. So, the question was, why would she pick up a stranger when she had her two young children in the back seat? Okay. I don't know. I mean, usually I You know, I talk to a lot of people around everywhere, you know? When I stopped, I just asked, "Can you drive?" And he was like, "Yeah, can I get a ride?" Go down to Dollar Store. I said, "I got to get some things." Did he have anything on him, like knives or anything like that? Nothing. He just had I believe he was wearing just a white T-shirt, and that was it. >> make any statements to you besides he was just going to leave? You know, he just said, "I got to get down and get a few things." He goes, "Let me get down first, and then you then you can go ahead and go in." He goes, I was like, "Okay, you know?" Cuz I had my kids in the car. >> Sorry. So, it was like, "I'll go ahead and get down first, and then I'll get down." But, he was taking for a while. He was yelling. So, I was like, "That's my daughter." And I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" I don't want her in the car. He's like, "Can you give me water? I can't breathe." And I'm like, "Okay." I got water, and I threw the water at him like that cuz he was already like The guy. The guy you picked up? Yeah. He started like um He had sprayed with mace, too? Yeah. Oh, yeah. That guy. He sprayed her. And he's like, "I'm not letting you go." And I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" He's like, "What do you think's going on?" And I was like, "I don't know. That's why I asked you." The officers believed she knew the suspect. Otherwise, there was no reason a mother would pick up a stranger with her two young children in the back seat, let alone defend him after he caused a ruckus inside the store. Yes, to get him out of the heat. Mainly children. >> him that you saw concerning his behavior? Yeah. Mainly. How often would you say you do that? Uh I mainly only do it for children and females when I see them walking. I would say I do it about six times a year. Okay. Cuz I do work for Lyft, too. So, it's like In this car? No, not in this car. I have another car that I work for. This This is a loaner, so it's Okay. So, here's the deal. I'm going to talk to my supervisor for a second. Based on what you're telling me, I am going to go and just detain him for right now and put you in the back of my car. You're not under arrest at this time. I just needed to talk to him and possibly call a few detectives to see if they want to speak to you, okay? Angelica continued to deny any wrongdoing, but the evidence and surveillance footage clearly showed she sprayed the employee for simply trying to get her registration number. As a result, she was transported to the police station, where she was questioned by social workers. Hi. My name's Kim. This is Dana. We're here because we received a report. Okay. So, the allegations that we have are for other neglect. You let somebody steal your stuff, and then So, that's my report. So, what happened to you? Yeah, I picked him up at the Dollar General. I don't know. I took him to the Dollar General, and he went into the Dollar General first, and I didn't know that he was going to steal. He comes out of the Dollar General saying that I paid for all this stuff. Well, he didn't say stuff. But, he's going to pay for all that. When did you pay for all this stuff? So, I got out of the car, and I said, "What happened?" And the altercation was between me and the employee. He started threatening me with pepper spray and stuff like that. He goes down [music] first, and went in there, stayed in there for 10 minutes. I He came out, was trying to walk out of the store. The man had locked the gate, the door. And I didn't know what was going on. They were yelling at each other cuz he came out from the other side of the store. So, I thought it was somebody, you know, somebody robbing. He sprayed him and couldn't even tell if it was the worker or not. He was leaving the work. Worker called the police. He comes around, and there's an altercation between them. And And I get out of the car, and I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" You know? And he's like, "Well, what do you think's going on?" And I'm like, "I don't know." And he's like, "Well, he's stealing." And I'm like, "How was I supposed to know he was stealing? I didn't know that." You know? She admitted that picking up a stranger was irresponsible, but swore up and down that it didn't constitute child neglect. However, she did attack the employee, but that wasn't the only reason the social workers were there. Do you have prior cases [music] with us? No, I don't. I've never had CWS. The last report was closed on March 1st of 2023, and I work for a nonprofit shelter. And then you had We were homeless. Okay. And we had another one back in 2018. I don't know what that was for. I don't remember that one. Um and so, you're a teacher. What school? I teach at Lafayette. Okay. I've been a teacher for over 5 years. Okay. Like, I have my own house. I have my own place. I have my own car. What is your address? Do you live [music] there? My address is Apartment C. You're going to stand on these little boxes. Face towards us. All my stuff is in the car. Same thing with this. The floor back of my car. Okay? And then I have clothes for little sister in one of these boxes. All time. Yeah, that's just going to be in there. I haven't seen this one, so I'm just going to leave it. Same thing with the back of my hands. What happens to you? I try to In the end, Angelica was charged with child abuse and battery. On October 10th, 2024, Ohio police officers were dispatched to an apartment building following reports that an altercation between family members had broken out after a woman told her son's baby mama to leave her apartment. Hello. Yeah, you got to leave. You going to have to leave. Is he bringing you back to the city? No, he in there WITH HIS MAMA. HE DON'T HE RIGHT BEHIND MAMA WITH EVERYTHING, BRO. YOU hear me? There's no reason to argue with her. That's what I told her. Told you to chill out. Told you to be quiet. I get it, but I mean, that's not helping anything. Yes, she can sit there and and yap all she wants. >> [music] >> We're just trying to get the job done. All right, so if she got to go, that's what we're going to try and do. I'm I'm leaving. I'm leaving, so you're happy? Y'all need to stop OPENING THE DOOR. ALL RIGHTY, SO IT'S TIME TO GO. Is that the officer or is that the That's the officer. Time for her to go. You need to calm down because they can arrest you for disorderly conduct. You don't need to be on the phone getting you a Uber back to the city. Your mom's exactly right or whoever you're talking to. >> I'll take her. No, you're not taking me. You two are not getting along very well. It's probably better she takes an Uber. Thankfully, the suspect's aunt was making sense over the phone, but whether her advice got through to her or just went in one ear and out the other, only time would tell. As the officer said, the best path forward was for the suspect to get an Uber and get out of there. Just grab whatever you need for right now. We got an Uber coming. You're not listening. I'm trying to be Tell the officer. The suspect's attitude was so hostile that the officers couldn't wait to get away from her. They warned her that she had 2 minutes to get her belongings and get out. Otherwise, her Uber would be a police cruiser and she'll be sitting in the back seat cuffed. All right, you ready? No, I'm not ready. IF I WAS READY, I would have been walked out Well, I'm going to bounce you with nothing if you don't start speeding up. Why are you guys even talking today? It's not working. Go. >> [music] >> You're you're the adult. The officers were being more than patient with the suspect. They had given her multiple warnings to stop arguing and leave, but she just couldn't resist sticking around to try and get the last word. Every time every time you do that, it's just adding it up. It looked like that was the end of it, but the suspect's attitude eventually got the best of her. And even though her Uber was on the way, the officers decided they would give her a lift directly to jail themselves. YOU'RE NOT YOU'RE DONE. NOW YOU'RE GOING TO GET WRAPPED. >> [snorts] >> THE BOY AND his mother begged the officers not to take her to jail as it was her day to look after the baby and they had plans. However, in her state, there was no way the officers were letting her walk away with her baby. Where's the child? Don't forget. Yeah, and grandma. I don't know if she'll calm down or not. She's pretty wound up. She hit me in the arm. She She hit me and stopped me. So, that's when we took her to the ground and we arranged to just hold her down. Yeah. Go ahead and step out. Just anything that you're not supposed to have? Like what? >> Weapons, drugs. No weapons. I don't have any drugs. Any drugs? I'm not worried about weed. No needles? No. You have to ask. I don't want to get stuck by anything. Just one hand. I got to be handcuffed? To here, yeah. The young mom was charged with assault and aggravated trespassing. On June 1st, 2025, police officers were dispatched to the side of the road following reports that a young woman was involved in a heated argument with her grandmother. Where do you live? Right there in River West. I can't take you to River West. In fact, I can't absolutely can't. Okay, good. If that will resolve this, then I will happily take >> can't believe I don't know. She just always says something >> Who do you stay in River West with? >> My car ugly. I'm going to move and get my own apartment. Although the young woman initially denied knowing the older woman, she eventually admitted that the older woman was her grandma whom she lived with. The officer attempted to work with her politely, but she just blew him off, disrespecting him to his face. She keeps saying stuff. Oh, oh, that's why she keeps saying stuff to me whenever she wants. I don't give I think you're being disrespectful. Then by all means, when you get down to River West, pack your Get out. Then that's not a problem, then. Okay, it's not a problem. Then we saw that. Uh number one Oh, number one >> You watch your mouth with me. Oh my god, that's what I thought. Okay. That's what I thought. Now don't say nothing about me packing up if you're not going to help me. I I got no reason to help you. So don't tell me what to do. >> one over here running your mouth. Okay? I didn't touch her, but she better be left out of this. Touch her then. Go ahead, you can go to county, or you can go to DCF. Which one do you want? >> I didn't touch her. Right, so shut your I'm going to shut up. Thank you. I can't stand stuff too. Thank you. >> Thank you. The woman's grandma said she didn't care where her granddaughter went to help get the ball rolling. The officers agreed to drop the girl off at a friend's place, but she chose to drag her heels instead. What's the address? What's the address on West what? What's the address on West? >> I'm trying to help you. I'm going to give you a ride over there. You can yell at me. Yes, it was the address. Or you can walk. I'll walk. Okay, go ahead. Have a nice day. Hey, don't you You don't understand. >> Grab your stuff, let's go. Why are you saying stuff to me? Grab Because I'm here because you're acting up. That's why I'm here. >> pissing me off. Look, she's telling me to calm down. You calm down. >> Put your stuff in the bag and let's go. Because I'm tired of you. All you do is talk Oh. All you do is talk All you do is talk All you do is talk nothing to you overdoing it. You're not grabbing. Do not grab. No, I'm not in the I'm going to get the rest of my stuff. Okay, I don't care. Knock it off. Grab your bag and let's go. She was really beginning to test the officers' patience. They had given her multiple warnings to gather her belongings and leave, but she was more concerned with getting the last word than staying out of jail. Walk. How can I get my daughter? That's her daughter. Okay. STOP YELLING AT MY FACE. LEARN YOUR BEFORE I KILL YOU IN MY CAR. I DON'T have to learn I'm tired of you. You people It's all your fault. Help! YOU'RE OVERDOING IT. OKAY, PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. NO, I'm not. Put your hands Put your hands behind your back. I'm tired of Okay, I'm going to have I didn't do nothing to you. I didn't do nothing to you. I didn't try to Everything is all on me. Why do you Put your hands behind your back. No, I'm not. You always You're the one that You're the one that put yourself in this position. She did not cause this. You grab my hand, you slam a door into me. We're not playing this game. You're going to jail. >> Oh my god. Uh I'll put her in here. Yeah, I'll walk her across the way. She didn't cause this. Yes, she did cause this. Yes, she Y'all DON'T KNOW HOW SHE What caused this was you acting up and throwing a door into me. You could have just walked out like the book said you could have. Now you get to go to jail. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Grab your stuff and go. You're acting more immature than your child. I DON'T CARE. YEAH, she didn't have to When is he coming? I don't know. I called for them. They're on their way. I have to get fresh air. It's hot in here. Roll your window down. >> [laughter] >> That better? The suspect wanted to get things done and over with. However, she had to wait for a police van to show up and transport her to jail. She could kick and whine all she wanted, but she was going to have to wait a little while longer. You have child and all that. Child, sister, and grandma. Thank you. All of them, please. There you are. Thank you very much. >> You're welcome. Your your bubble gum and your whatever this is What's going in your purse, okay? It's your property. Your purse. Bro, why are you in my purse? Like It's your property. You can just do whatever you want. That's where you're incorrect. I don't want it. Throw it. I'm not doing that. That's littering. That was That's not mine. It's on your person and your coat. When is he coming? Like why do I have to come with you? I'd rather be on That sucks. The suspect needed a lesson on how to treat her elders. The way she spoke to her grandmother in front of the officers was despicable. Hopefully, some time in jail would do her some good. Oh my god. When am I leaving? It's not going to be It's not going to be like last time. Whenever the transport wagon gets here. They're on their way. You need to be patient. OH MY GOD, WHY CAN'T I Why do I have to be on my personal space? We're having a meltdown. >> [laughter] >> We're having a meltdown. We'll We'll put We'll put that on the book and slip to have mental health counselor at jail. The suspect was so irate that the officers decided to meet the transport vehicle halfway. There, she was searched before being loaded into the back of the transport vehicle and taken to the police station for further processing. She's feisty. Feisty. Use my vest. Yeah. Okay. She's staying county. Yeah, they'll Well, they'll take stuff there. Um Not the food or the drink, but >> the chips. Yeah. What you guys do that? Thank you. Thank you. That's all right. You got something for me? You got anything you got something for me? Thank you. Can you stop spitting everywhere? Goodness. The suspect was charged with resisting arrest. On a summer afternoon, a police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with illegal tints and other violations. However, instead of cooperating, the female driver had other plans. What are you doing? What you want? Cuz I don't even I don't even understand why y'all just follow me. Y'all Y'all literally sat there and watched me pull off. And then come here. One second. Can you stop to the ma'am? Ma'am, where are you going? Ma'am, where are you going? BECAUSE YOU JUST YOU JUST I SEE WHAT YOU JUST DID. >> I SAID one second. What are you doing? Why are you Why are you leaving on the traffic side? First of all, we We parked right here. Second of all, >> Okay, is that Is that how you want to play? No, because you just watched me. I pulled off from the store. I watched you. Okay. I pulled off AND YOU WERE HURTING THE CAR. >> talking You're free to tell. How am I supposed to see anyone inside your car for You can Listen, my kid You can see right here. >> Ma'am You can see right here. >> Stop. I'm not playing these games. You can see right here. Okay. So do me a favor, sit back down in your car. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. I called 911. I don't care. We're not playing these games. MY CAR WAS OFF. BECAUSE MY KID IS NOT DOING STOP pulling away. Stop pulling away. Stop. Stop. You aren't in control of this situation. I said you're on a traffic stop. That doesn't mean I'm going to walk away now. My car was I don't care if your car was off. You stepped out of the car afterwards. I don't care. Come out. Get your Come out, Junior. That's my stuff right there. Come on, Junior. Pretty sure we've already done this, too. Oh no, she's absolutely going to jail now. Absolutely. This is the second time I've had to do this with her because she wants to play these games. Why she thought she could walk away from the officer while he was in the middle of conducting a traffic stop was anyone's guess. All she had to do was sit calmly behind the wheel with her hands at 10 and 2, and there wouldn't have been an issue. How are we going to do this in front of your kid? Because Because [laughter] my kid is not doing >> I can't believe that you're doing this in front of your kid. Come on, Junior, stand right here. Don't cry, baby. Hello. So I had went to I want to go get Junior a Gatorade. Somebody come get her kid? Yeah, uh So when I get >> Yeah, I don't know why your mom does this. Yeah, no, this This is This is Wait, are you No, this a loophole in the front? Oh, okay. Yes. Hello. Hey, can I don't need this many people around my traffic stop? Thank >> just got to get a There's a baby over there. So, I got to got to take the baby away from him. Okay, we're not we're not going to be arguing. We're not going to be arguing on the phone. STOP. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? STOP. HE'S OUT OF CONTROL. SHE wasn't even arguing with him. She was TALKING ON THE PHONE. DOING. STOP. STOP. NO, we're not going to be sitting here talking yelling about this traffic stop when the only thing that you need to do is just stop and be quiet. That's all you have to do. Just be quiet. Be in the car. Be in the car in front of your kid cuz you are acting like a child because you Stop. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? STOP. NO, YOU NO, I'M I'M DONE WITH YOU TALKING. I'm done with you talking. Cuz all you want to do is try to do screwed it everything. [music] You are not in control here. My lights were on. You decided to pull over and get out of the way and and get out of your car like, I'm out of my car. I'M FREE AND GOOD. STOP. STOP TALKING. THE OFFICER told the woman that she could blab all she wanted, but she would have to continue doing so from a jail cell. Due to her actions, he was going to give her a ticket for everything he could. This is the second time I think I've done this with you. No, I don't even know you. This is my first time meeting you. >> Is your first time? Okay, maybe. No, I don't know you AT ALL. I NEVER LET YOU HAVE I JUST STOPPED you like a month or two ago? No, you didn't. On Henderson maybe? No, I never No, I promise. Okay, good. The last time I GOT STOPPED, I GOT STOPPED on the on the road I don't I don't It NOT NO, MATTER FACT, MY LAST MY Give her an ID out. I have nothing to do right now. Okay, can you just stop walking away from me? Just stand there. Stop talking. No, because you know what JUST MADE ME MAD IS BECAUSE you you you you telling me you stopped me a month ago. The last time I got Okay, that's great. So, maybe I'm mistaking you for someone else. I don't like that. I DON'T LIKE THAT, BRO. That That's Why is that Why Why is that everything weird? Is that the part? Why is that the part? Not the way you're acting in front of like your 2-year-old I don't even your 5-year-old kid over there. Not that way. Okay, your 6-year-old kid. Not that way. Right? Not you just thinking I'm going to do whatever I want to create a situation that did not even have to happen. Because I don't care. The officer asked to see her license, but she claimed she didn't have it on her. He wanted to know why she had been acting so aggressively, but whatever her problem was, her excuses just weren't cutting it. So, what's got you all fired up today that like that's got you like so worked up from the very beginning? Okay, I'm going to tell you. Absolutely. Is there something else going on other than just me looking at you? No, it's because when I came out the store how you hurry up and you rushed you bum rushed inside the parking lot and you didn't even park your car. Right that window down. Cuz I was already coming here. I come here every day my baby goes to football practice. Okay. Then you say you wanted to test my test my tint and you was just doing the most when I got out the car. I had already parked the car. When you put the lights on, I had already put it It was already in park. >> Okay. So, do you do you think that just like invalidates everything? Like you just got a free pass or what? No, it was it was And on top of that, you just said you stopped me a month ago and I never met you before. So, that's why I was like, well, then when did you stop me? I know you ain't stopped me a month ago. Okay. You did. I know when the last time I GOT STOPPED. I GOT STOPPED on the same So, what? So, if that's the If that's your reason for acting like No, it was because you were so aggressive that is completely No, it was because you were you were aggressive. How was I I told you to stand by so I could go get my tint meter and you got out Yeah, okay. Hold on. You told me that we were done basically, right? Cuz I said I said you are staying right here and you said, no. No, I never said that. Okay, stop. Well, I'm not going to stand here on the road and argue. You said You said you wanted to test the tint. So, you can You can have a seat in my car now. The woman's family members were just as worked up as she was over the traffic stop. As a result, the officer loaded the suspect into the back of the police cruiser so he could address their concerns. obstruction She didn't get real rude or nothing. Absolutely. She got out of the car, told me that we weren't doing a traffic stop, that she had parked and she was all good even though my lights were on and everything was on beforehand. I even told her to stand by and she decided not to. She wanted to start yelling at me about this rather than just maybe getting a warning for some tint. She decided to start yelling. There's nothing to work out [music] at this point. Once my hands go on somebody, they're going to go to jail. This is the last thing that I wanted to have to deal with, but she created the situation, right? She She was trying to walk away. No, no, no, that's not how we I mean, you don't do that. You probably understand that when I'm on a traffic stop with somebody, you don't just get to leave and walk away cuz you decide that you want to. I would absolutely I would absolutely be okay with that, but here's the problem is that she hasn't and she's just continued to tell other people, you and her family, just how just how right that she is and how wrong I am just for looking at a car that has a really dark front tint. So, that's why I wanted to So, so I can tell you Okay, give me a minute and we'll work this out, okay? The officer was willing to work with the woman's family. Shortly after her husband arrived on the scene, and the officer explained to him why his wife was arrested. The license plate cover on there has to be completely clear. Oh, okay. >> Okay, so it can't be tinted. I have to feel like get right up on the car to even read the tint or I'm sorry, to read the tag on it. Just make sure that's clear. Not a big deal. Right, right, right. And all four of your windows are just tinted. It's just a sticker that I got. It's not a big deal. Take it You It might be a cling-on or you can just pull it off and get a new one on there, but it's got to be 28% in the front and 15% in the back. Okay? If you have any questions, it's it's just online for the statutes, but you can also call us and we will be more than happy to tell you the Okay. the percentages, okay? So, she's just going to go for a misdemeanor. So, she'll get a bond as soon as I take her in there and I type up my narrative and all that stuff. Super simple, not a big deal. Um I don't know what's going on in her day that made her flash out like that at me without even I mean, we we get into it like that. I understand that. Yeah. I mean, I just walked up to the car and she started yelling like getting rude with me and I hadn't even introduced myself yet. So, I don't know what's going on with her. Maybe something is going on like Maybe her day was But there's a certain limit to how much how far we can take that before somebody goes to jail. So, it's unfortunate cuz this is the last thing I need to be doing today. The suspect was searched before being transported to the police station for further processing, but not before she made one last-ditch attempt to make the officers look like they were violating her rights. There's nothing. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You got my You got my You got my Cuz I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant. My my new assistant she grabbing my Relax. I've never had anybody scream at me, okay? You need to calm down. Cuz what's going to happen is Thank you. Okay. She grabbing my I'm not grabbing anything. I'm grabbing your bra. I'm a woman. I know the difference between a nipple and Okay, and you just grab my bra. >> Okay. My My assistant the volume button. Okay. Once again, as a woman and somebody who's been pregnant before, I know the difference. No, man. Come on. You're not going to sit there and play that game with me. You might be able to play it with a man, but you can't play that with me. Let me see your ID. Okay. I'm working at a medical center, honey. Okay. Huh? I work with old people, patients. Impossible. Exactly. The woman was charged with obstruction. On August 29th, 2025, police officers were dispatched to Walmart following reports that a mother of two was exhibiting behavior consistent with being under the influence. When officers arrived on the scene, they found her stumbling around in the parking lot. So, how are you doing, ma'am? How are you doing? Good. I'm Officer Dwyers with the Grove City Police Department. Uh we got a call about you. Sounded like you were uh stumbling around inside the store, so we just wanted to check on you and make sure you were okay to drive. Can you talk? Yeah, I'm not drunk or anything. I'm drained. I just moved into my apartment. I've been up cleaning organizing. Gotcha. So, you've just been up for a long time then. Yeah, and I was crying cuz I get paid six hundred dollars a week. Okay. Gotcha. Yeah, they said they saw you go into the um the mother cuz that's where I've been. What's the What's the deal with the can here? My uh Right here. No, thank you. So, I fixed Okay, how about you just set that down there on the trunk for me. It wasn't looking good for the suspect, Chevelle. Her balance was off and her speech was slurred, and the fact that her children were in the vehicle made things that much worse. Next, the officer asked her to sit on the curb before he continued asking more questions. What's the deal with the inhalant? The what? The inhalant, the spray bottle that you were holding when I walked up. I said I fixed my my Okay, gotcha. Gotcha. What are you I'm hearing you. Well, cuz you say you're fixing something. There's no indicator of spray or nothing, and I seen you holding the spray can and you're stumbling around. No, I'm not. Holy moly, my daughter just asked asked it open the door. Where we're at with this right now is we're just going to give you opportunity to feel feel feel sobriety tests just make sure that you're okay to drive. Obviously, you're about to the car with your two children. I can't walk a straight line for nothing. Okay. Excuse Excuse me. We're walking you through everything that we need you to do. You have everything you need for You know. So, yeah, if I was drunk, this is really to tell you my cousin is epileptic. Okay. And when she like first wakes up, she got pills for it. Sure. But mine's only act up when I'm really stressed, and I'm under a lot of stress. Just moving this day. I'm trying to organize my house. I bought her taking a ball ride. Okay. So, they saw that you had gone into the mother's Right. Did you go in with your children or no? No. Okay. So, you just left them outside the door then or >> No, they were standing right there. Were they inside the room with you? No, they were standing right at the door. Okay. What were you doing inside the room there? I was praying to pray. I swear. Okay. She agreed to participate in a series of field sobriety tests to prove that she wasn't under the influence of alcohol. An officer went inside to speak to Walmart employees regarding her behavior earlier. She walked in like her feet were She walked in like Godzilla, honestly. It was super weird. Oh, she says she has vertigo. You know, a lot of people have vertigo, so I don't know. It might be nothing. It was just We were worried because of the kids. We debated calling for like 20 minutes. >> So, you said she left them alone for 15 minutes. They were just wandering around? I don't know. I left them in the car. Okay. Well, then she was sitting in the mother's room. She was down there. All right. So, when you do this, I just need you to uh in a heel-to-toe fashion. You're going to take nine steps down that line. A turn and then nine steps back. And then you can be able to do it. Okay. Do you want to make an attempt to do it? All right. Am I going to jail? So, you're not here's where I'm at with this. I believe that you are some level of intoxicated. I didn't do anything. Well, so let me Let's stop. Hang on. Let me explain a little bit further to you. Chevelle felt that she could no longer continue with the field sobriety tests. However, she continued to claim that she wasn't under the influence of anything. So, can you understand that from my point of view I have a breathalyzer test or something. Say it one more time. >> I have a breathalyzer test. I don't drink. I understand. I didn't drink in there. The reason wasn't like that. I just opened it. I just opened it to spray my my sibling cuz I'm I can't afford them this [ __ ] home sibling. Right. So, based off of what I'm seeing, I believe you are impaired by something. I don't know if you're impaired by alcohol, but I am I will not let you drive today. But, why do you think I'm under the influence? Cuz I can't walk a straight line. Not because you can't walk a straight line. Again, I didn't see you walk in a straight line. You said that you didn't want to. Based off of what I'm hearing from your slow speech, you're unsteady on your feet, your eyes >> I'm not unsteady. When I looked at your eyes, you have showed us several indicators of impairment. Your eyes usually that's >> unsteady. She then claimed that she had been fasting for 3 days, which may have contributed to her lack of stability. She also continued to blame it on the adhesive that she was spraying in the back of her vehicle, but that didn't explain her behavior in Walmart. How long were you spraying that stuff in the trunk? Like I just came out the store, so I just opened it. You can believe I was seeing. Well, that's not the problem that I have. The problem is if that's what you think it was, that you were inhaling too much of it there in the back. You think it can have that effect within minutes? I mean, it does feel wet. So, like you probably like it I put my hand on it and it does feel like sticky. Great. I have I mean, it just it kind of depends on if you how much you were spraying. That stuff is strong. Like I smelled it like even just rotating the can and I was like, "Ooh, that stuff is strong." But, um I mean, were you Well, I mean, I'll ask you straight up. Were you purposely inhaling it? No. To like try to get high or anything or were you just trying to or were you just trying to fix it? >> I really was trying to fix it. I'm a fixing. Like fix the brandy like >> Yeah. I get it. I get it. I mean, I got to do what I got to do. The officer suspected she had been inhaling the chemical from the canister. However, they couldn't prove if she had done it on purpose. So, after calling around, they reached one of her friends who agreed to pick up Chevelle and her children. Are you able to come out here and um pick up I'm sorry, what's your name again? Chevelle. Pick up Chevelle and her two kids? Okay. Okay. Um You know the Kohl's sitting in Walmart? Yes. So, it's going to be the Walmart that's on Stream Town Road. I'm already in Galloway. I don't have a couple exits away. Okay. All right, sounds good. We'll see you then. All right. All right, bye-bye. All right, bye-bye. All right, I'll give this back to you. Thank you. You just want me to set it back in your car? Is that okay? Yeah. Okay. Did you go in the room to kind of look for a break? Yeah. The room? The room? Like the mother's room to like kind of have a break from everything? >> Yeah. Okay. That's my damn place. I'm going there to pray and I have the UVersion Bible app on my phone. Okay. After a short wait, the friend arrived on the scene. She was lucky that the officers had stopped her from driving home. Who knows what might have happened if she had driven off in that condition. All right. So, here's where we're at with this. Today, you are going to get a citation. Yes. You're not going to jail tonight. Well, I'm going to jail for being in the mother's room exactly. You're getting a citation and I'm just warning you for today. Okay. I believe that you were down in your car in the state you were in. I don't think you can care for yourself for long. I don't think Really? You're more than entitled to your arrest, but this is based off of what I see. And if it was just you speaking to me, then I would see what the situation is. Like I said, you're more than entitled to your arrest. It's okay. I just want to speak with you please. Not a conviction, but a charge. If you want to fight this later, so um just hang out. We're going to write those out for you. You'll get your copy in a court date and you can handle it that way. Does that make sense? Yeah. Hopefully, Chevelle gets the help she obviously needs. There is no doubt that the officer's actions that day may very well have helped avoid a fatal tragedy. On April 9th, 2025, an officer was dispatched to a Kohl's parking lot after loss prevention [music] reported a shoplifting in progress. According to reports, surveillance footage captured a female suspect stealing shoes and other items. Don't you move. Police, come here now. Get over here now. Move in. You guys move in here. Get over here, ma'am. I saw you. I'm telling you right now. SORRY. SORRY. SORRY. SORRY. Move over here. Move over here. Move over here. Move up here. Stop. What are you guys doing running a 60 over here? I'm not running anywhere. I'm not running. I'm not running. Stop. I'm going to tase you if you don't. You're moving right now. I'm just trying My mom's back is broken. Why don't you all quit resisting me? She's not resisting. You're going to get a new charge. As the officer was alone, while he continued to struggle with the suspect, Brittany, her male accomplice saw it as an opportunity to escape and began walking away from the scene. I told you three times. You're going to roll You're hurting me. Roll [screaming] over. Sir, you're hurting me. Roll over. Sir, we told you to give us the keys. Give us the keys. Get off. I can't breathe. That's my sibling. Please. Well, looks like she's going to turn over. Get off. Oh my god, he's hurting me. Roll over. We had to call my mom. Please, he's hurting. He took my phone. I can't breathe. BRITTANY, GET OUT. I CAN'T. YOU GOT PLEASE. PLEASE. GET OUT. I CAN'T. HE'S UP THERE. BRITTANY. WILL YOU PLEASE give her the keys? NO. WHY? >> YOU'RE BEING CHARGED WITH RESISTING NOW. I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. PLEASE. What's my bond for? Please give her the keys. >> You're not GOING ANYWHERE. I'M NOT RESISTING. GET OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR. I GOT MY LEG UP HERE. >> YOU DO. GET IT out from under there. I can't breathe. >> If she can't, nobody's even on her. I can't. I'VE GOT A BABY and I got a broken back. Please. Brittany claimed she wasn't resisting, even though she had intentionally [music] wedged herself under the vehicle. But, it didn't matter either way as backup arrived and quickly chased down her fleeing partner. Brittany, come here. Come here right now. Come here. What you doing nothing? I don't care. Stop walking. I'm on my mom's side. I'm on my mom's It doesn't matter. I'm on my mom's SIDE. I'M ON MY MOM'S SIDE. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND I'M LISTENING. NOW. STOP. I got you right here. I know. Stop. What are you trying to do? Stop. One of the same. Ah, stop. Bro, stop bending my arm like that. Like what are y'all doing? Y'all going to break my arm, bro. Like stop bending my arm like that. Is there anything on you? Weapons? No. Okay, come in there. No. Sit back here. Brittany was pulled out from under the car and was secured in cuffs. Other officers pulled her main accomplice out of the police cruiser and interrogated him. I can't talk to my girlfriend. Nope. Why? Cuz you're being detained right now. I'm not with you. I'm talking to my own again in the car. She can't come over here. Bend over. I'm going to take your left cuff off, all right? All right. Now, can you tell my girlfriend to come over here? Not right now, man. Bro, for what? Okay. Tell her to come over here. No. Why? Listen. Go sit inside. Cuz our show not yours. All right. All right. No, that's not what I said. What you said? I believe he called you a Not that. Oh god, anything but a You need to don't know anything The suspect claimed he was dating Britney's daughter who was in the vehicle when the officers arrived at the scene. While police chatted with her, they began combing through their vehicle to check for any stolen merchandise. places for these I don't even know what the [ __ ] I came here for. I had two suspects when I got to control one. I don't know what what happened with the other property. These are still new too, right? Yeah, they're new. They got you for a bunch of them. Here's your socks. Here's the socks that he had. Everything he ditched in the back. I got it all on video. All right, she was cold so I patted her down. She was back in the car. What do you need from me? The officers discussed how each suspect would be charged before turning their attention back to Britney. They radioed for EMS to come to the scene as she claimed she was pregnant and having back problems. But the guy also Like if one of you guys would have been here and you [snorts] would have even searched me. I told him I was pregnant and he kept throwing me up on the car and I wasn't resisting and so I was not resisting. Can I face you or put my back against the car and he threw me up on the ground and I got stuck under the car. Is your address current on your ID? Which address do you need to Looking together in front? Oh, can I check my boot real quick? So I can make sure there's nothing new. Okay, now. What are we checking for? I had my money in my socks and then my shirt. If I take them, I get prescribed. Uh yeah, I'm 53. Got your current address? Can I tie this back more so it doesn't get in my face? Um that's my old ID. My new one is in there. Did you want to grab the new one? Um will you bring me the red bag? I'm like at it. Okay, let's have a seat. Britney's daughter wasn't being charged with theft as she never set foot inside Kohl's. That said, the officers still had some questions for her. At least this is getting over with now though cuz we're 11 weeks pregnant and I only probably really got to go today cuz my first offense. You got stuck under there for us? You got yourself all twisted up and then step out. I was putting my back in the car. I didn't even know what to do. I was in the car cuz I wanted to go get my uh medicine that I can't get from the pharmacy. So I'm working on it right now but I don't know what I'm going to do cuz I got my mom cuz I was mad. Well, I'm pregnant. She's going to work. You got to work. Yeah, but she said that it was said it was closed. I said it was closed. At least I'm getting to work so I She's going to get to work here. Bro, I don't know. They're trying to say I think it's being lied to a cop but I don't know what it is cuz they called me when I was 18. What's that mean? The officer questioned a lot of me. No, bro, I didn't even lie. I think they they put me as false information at first. They had me in there as false information and I was like, what false information? Because that's lying and I definitely gave you my name. The officers sat the woman down in the back of the police cruiser where she was read her rights. Although she wasn't being charged, she was still heading to jail on her warrant. Is he going to jump her like with my mom or like she already had >> [music] >> Bro, he's a little jumper. Oh, I already know. You got family coming? You got a lot of a lot of stuff going on for you. Y'all probably know my baby dad too cuz he's in jail too but he's done for like he don't like want to do nothing else dumb and all cuz he has a kid on the way. I know, that's why he's been crying. He's been crying cuz the judge knows that's what he does not cry. I'm like, he was in courtroom crying. I'm like, why is he crying? She's like, because the baby. Cuz he does not cry. at all. He has to start making better decisions soon. Or it's too late and then you're going to have a baby in in jail. It's not worth it. Well, I already know. Well, I haven't been in trouble. The charge that I got now, I don't even know how I got it for cuz I was not in trouble so that's how I know I'm not really going to probably get a long sentence. Plus it's my first time in trouble like You're under the job. What's that? Jack the bike, right? No, it's the new one. Oh, well, I heard that one is that bad so I don't care. That's where my mom's going to say is the new one. Good thing cuz I ain't going to be in there alone. No, you're all going to be in there. Britney and her male accomplice were charged with theft, obstruction of official business, and resisting arrest. The male suspect had active warrants for receiving stolen property, failure to comply, carrying a concealed weapon, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. On February 28th, 2024, two feuding mothers arrived at a police station. One mother, named Gabriella, wanted to claim custody of her 9-year-old daughter. During that time, the child was under the custody of Anne, the mother of the child's father. Is it you guys that called us? What's going on? So I have some documents I've been trying to give to my son's daughter. She's been with me for 5 years. Not 5 years. He's in jail. It was 5. That is in jail. I don't have it. It's in my vehicle. These documents were signed from him. No, I don't. But I will show I could show Yeah, when the officer >> court orders here. And what's your name? Anne Buchanan. What's the deal? You're trying to take the daughter but they won't let you. She just got out of jail. This is my daughter. Got you. Can I talk to you over here, please? I I just better explain it. I don't Do you have any paperwork? So as far as I know, it's custody is given to them. No, it hasn't. There's no >> Okay, paperwork says it has been. That's why you need paperwork. >> There's no court order. I just left my attorney. Right here that you can see on that paperwork there's no court order. Gabriella had a child with Anne's son who was currently in prison. However, as Gabriella was unstable when he went to prison, Anne had been granted temporary custody of the child. However, since Gabriella was already doing better, she wanted her daughter back. So we don't have the power to like I can't take care of her. I give give her to you either way. So where she's at now and where she's staying now, she's going to have to stay until you guys get this squared away in court. Okay? >> But she has no court order. Okay. So I can't remove her from their custody. They don't have custody. Okay. But right now it shows I can't Listen, they said they've had her for a while. Okay. Well No, for 3 years and I've been calling the police to her house and trying to get her with me. And the attorney just told me she has no court order. >> How old is she? She's [music] 6. I mean not she's 6. I'm sorry. I have a 6-year-old. She's 9. She's 9. Cuz I have a 6-year-old in the car. I have a 6-year-old in the car. I have four kids. Hey, hey, hey. What's your name? This That's my oldest daughter. They come with me. Can you talk to me out here real quick? The officer spoke to the young child in question. She told him she wanted to stay with her grandparents [music] and didn't want to go home with Gabriella. However, Gabriella refused to accept her decision claiming that the child's grandparents [music] had brainwashed her. All right, so I guess so everyone can hear me. I'm going to document it just that I talked to you guys. But as it stands right now, I can't remove her from their custody. So she's going to go with them. You can't do that. I can't do that. Okay. She has no court order so I'm taking her. Yes. This paperwork I just showed him. You're doing You're showing him a old paperwork in 2022. That's a petition. You guys are good to go then. No, she's not going nowhere. I'm taking my daughter with me. She's not going nowhere. Okay, you can't keep them from leaving the building. Okay, no. I could grab her. Move both of them away. No, I can't get her. 3105, can you come this way, please? Hey, hey, hey. Have a seat for us. Have a seat for Anne. Here, step out here with me, Anne. Mercy. Well, listen, your daughter does not want to go with you, okay? Because she's brainwashed. >> Okay, she does not want to go with you. That's too bad. I'm not her mother. Okay, well, that's not a good situation if you're going to force her to do something when putting stuff in her head though. You don't understand. That's because she didn't see me for 3 years. You have to I have my daughter has to relearn to learn who I am. Cuz she didn't see me. They took my daughter away from me since she was 6 and now she was hurt. She's [music] in distress. She is sad. She's probably wondering about where's your mother at, you know? She knows where her mom is. She doesn't want to go with you. That's because they put in her Okay, you didn't even know how old she was. Cuz I have a 6-year-old. I have I just had a baby. I do know how old she is. Gabriella could protest all she wanted but it was obvious that the officer had already made up his mind. Her daughter would be going home with her grandparents because they are the legal guardians. Okay, Lord. He told me now that's my daughter. >> Okay, but if you're going to keep them from leaving, blocking the door and stuff like that. >> but I'm going to I'm going to grab her. It's my daughter, man. They had to jail for her best interest with her mother. Well, it seems like she's doing good with her grandparents right now. I don't care. She can do you can think however you think. She can do good with me, too. And her other siblings they're comfortable saying that thing. You can't see that. That's crazy. What I see is them being cordial with me. They're cooperating. I'm cooperating. I have a daughter. No, you were keeping them from leaving. You're blocking the door. You're not cooperating. So, from what I see she is in better hands with them than you. How do you know that? From what you've exhibited so far. >> No, she's better hands with me. The officer told Gabriella he disagreed, [music] but it made no difference. Gabriella threatened she'd take her child the second they walked through the door. That's when another officer stepped [music] out and informed her they were finished playing her games. Ma'am, you need to leave this station or you're going to be trespassed. And if you don't go, you're going to go to jail. Do you understand? >> Why am I being trespassed? Because you have no reason to be here at this time. >> I'm telling you. I told you in the front or whoever I told. You can't say that to me. You can't That's not your right to do that. I know my laws. Apparently not. >> You can't tell me that I'm being trespassed. I [music] absolutely can. No, you cannot. I'm not doing anything wrong. Okay, you no longer have any business here. >> Yes, I do. My daughter's in there. >> Okay, you cannot block people. Okay, let me be. I'm going to grab her. And get >> Ma'am, you're about to leave or you're about to go to jail. >> not going to go to jail. She kept pushing back against the officers, openly [music] threatening to take her daughter right in front of the police station. It was a stupid plan that was never going to end well. And eventually, the officers reached their limit. That's two seconds to make up your mind. Okay, drop your purse. >> No. No. I want to get my daughter, please. Stop. Why are YOU SO MEAN? WHY ARE [screaming] YOU >> [snorts] >> STOP RESISTING. I'M NOT RESISTING. Get off of me. No. GET OFF [screaming] OF ME. YOU'RE IN MY GRANDMA'S GRANDMA'S HOUSE. I'M GRANDMA. >> [screaming] >> THE officers secured Gabriella in cuffs and escorted her to the back of a police cruiser. She could have walked away and chosen to fight for custody of her daughter through legal means, but instead, she chose to do things the hard way. >> [crying] [laughter] [crying] [screaming] >> Can I just talk? Get in the car. I just want my daughter, please. I'm okay. I'll stay. Let me stay. Yeah, she said she's going to take 10 or 15 of you. >> [music] >> Pick it up. Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Just do what I already said. Yeah, man. What's going on, man? Get off of me. Gabriella was charged with resisting arrest without violence and trespass after warning. And that's a wrap for today's video. Hope you give it a thumbs up and click the subscribe button while you're at it.
