Okay, come on out. Want to take care of that? Uh, the car. I got you, man. Come on. Step out. Holy DUI. Let go. You're not You cannot have this. Will you put it back in my You're a jacket. I hope your wife and kids leave. Why were you guys young ladies? Because that was talking to my girl and I told her to get in the car. I already told you this. It seems excessive screen time has destroyed the minds of our youth. Cops often encounter teens who can't even focus enough to have a 5-minute conversation, even when their freedom depends on it. But being young should never be an excuse to be dumb, cuz one will eventually find out the hard way what happens when good cops humiliate the out of brain teens. Yeah, congratulations. Now you're going to sit in jail till tomorrow. I said that's enough. I'm not even resisting. Like, why are you doing all this? Like what the On February 3rd, 2024, police officers were dispatched to a Walmart after employees with the loss prevention department spotted and detained a shoplifter. Thank you, ma'am. The other party is still playing. Yeah. Now, please do not be on your phone right now. Okay. Ma'am, what? Do not be on your phone right now. You pain. Okay. If I forgot to scan some, you need to rescan. I'm not really sure why you yelling at me. I'm just asking you not to be on your phone. That's And my blood sugar is low. Well, so if I pass out in this Okay, we will call the ambulance for you. Okay. You don't need to call for me. Well, do you need one? Do you need an ambulance? It's just a simple. Do you need an ambulance? I'm not going to talk anymore. Okay. Well, if you don't need you don't need to talk anymore and do not be on your phone. Otherwise, I'm going to put you in my handcuffs right now. Okay. What is it that you want? Okay. You already know why you're here. Okay. If I forgot to I ask you to be off your I off my phone. Don't raise your voice at me. The Really? Yeah. Really? Cuz I'm off my phone. You don't see me on my phone no more. So, don't raise your voice at me and tell me that you told me story behind it. What you mean did you talk to? Talk about entitlement. Imagine getting caught stealing and having the nerve to shout at the police officer like she's inconveniencing you. While it initially seemed like the woman was simply suffering from a bad case of social media addiction, it turned out the device in her hands wasn't actually her phone. Still, it was no excuse to treat the officer so disrespectfully. And get off your phone. It's not a phone. It's for my blood sugar so I can see where my blood sugars are. Is that a problem? Yes, it is. I'm going to give you an ambulance if you need one. It's not a cell phone. I need I need to see how I'm going to make I'm going It's not a cell phone. I cannot make no calls on here. It's not a cell phone. I'm trying to see what my blood sugars are. The I worked in a pharmacy. Your blood sugar was just Okay. My blood sugar is not just fine. My blood sugar is dropping the whole time I'm in here. Like Okay. Because you got you want to [ __ ] Okay. Okay. So basically all my item. No, we're going to take the items that Okay, take this. I'm hot. Don't Don't even talk to her because she's already having attitude. So can you give my ID back now? No, I'm not going to give you your ID back. This is not going to be how you want it to be. Okay, but you're not going to be just coming up to me any type of way and then tell me to get the off my phone. Who are you? Because I'm telling you, you cannot. Okay, I can pick up my phone anytime I want to. You don't pay my bill. While the officer ran the suspect's ID, the loss prevention employees began tallying up the price of all the goods she attempted to steal. Throughout the entire process, the teenage suspect continued to berate both the officer and the employee who were simply trying to do their jobs. It wasn't long before the officer had finally had enough. Really hard to be doing this for 30. Thank you, my move faster. Talking about I'm moving a lot slower. If you move a lot slower, I'm going to pick my mother phone back up. So, how y'all want to play? Excuse me. Don't touch my girl. Don't touch my stuff. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. All I'm doing is putting my phone in my pocket. Put your hand behind your back. You'll never be charged with resisting for what? All I'm doing right now. And you are now charged with a Congratulations. Congratulations. is not going to sit in jail till tomorrow. I said that's enough. Well, I'm not even resisting. Like, why are you doing all this? Like, what the You do not have to do all that. Congratulations to you, too. Hey, now let me go down. Don't be touching my like girl. It's your gun. It's your gun. It's your gun. me. It's your gun. It's your gun. It's your gun. It's your Get the off me. Unfortunately for our entitled suspect, the officer was far from being done. She had no one to blame but herself for her predicament. If she had just owned up to her actions and politely allowed the officer and employees to do their jobs, the law enforcement officer would have been more gentle with her. Make some more threats because you're surely not going to get out of jail for a couple actually till Monday. You like what? You making threats. All you had to do was like All you had to do is shut your mouth. You talking about talking. You're going to sit in jail till Monday. What else we can do for you? You can kiss my black ass. That's what you can do for me. Well, that's not going to happen. But like you not going to happen. I didn't say I was on your best day. I did not say I was on your best day. I didn't say I was going to steal any. That's not what I said. You are not holding me. Like is you going to call the police and put me back in your car and take me where you taking me? Like I'm hot as I'm not going to keep sitting here. We're going through the groceries right now. Well, you're already under arrest. So don't worry. Okay. So hurry up. It's not going to get any you. Okay. What the you talking about? Like the officer said, if she wanted to get things over with as quickly as possible, she should have been patient and followed orders. She claimed that her outbursts were due to low blood sugar. But when asked if she required an ambulance, she declined. I am high. That's what I'm not getting. Like my blood sugar is low as I'm shaky as hell. None of y'all got diabetes. So you don't know where coming from you talking about. Do you need ambulance? Okay. And then you moving slow as on purpose. I know you is. You're moving slow as hell on purpose. She can't hear. Well, shut the up. I know what time you get up. I worked here before. That's another threat. Wow. Oh, congratulations. Count them. Count them. Count them. I'm counting. I didn't see your plenty of times in the street. I'm counting. So you dead ass going to keep me sitting right here while yall go through all these items. 0816. Bro, if I suing y'all in there now cuz I would like an ambulance. I told you multiple times an ambulance ain't going to do what am going to do? What do they have an ambulance that's going to help me? I don't have no sweets. I don't have no tablet. None of that. They don't have shut up. Okay, that means no. Don't question my suck my While the employees continued to tally the value of the stolen merchandise, the suspect continued to complain about everyone and everything from the temperature of the room to the handcuffs being too tight and to the slow process. Finally, she got her wish in the form of another arresting officer. She can go straight to the car. I don't dro everything up. Okay. Excuse me. That's going nice. I don't give a Start with me though. I'm not starting nothing with you. No, no, no. I don't care. I don't care. I don't give. Okay. Okay. I said he talking. I just said I will all y'all up. I don't give no That's what you're not getting. Okay. Talking about following like I don't have no problem with you, but her go. I don't give a She got 63. Don't touch my head cuz I know how to get in here myself. 634. What she said in here? She been searching. She been search Thank you. Does she have a phone in there? She have a phone. I'll go bring it. The suspect was charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. And although she was belligerent, at least she didn't put other lives at risk, unlike this next teenage suspect. On August 27th, 2023, officers from the Key West Police Department pulled over a heavily intoxicated teenage driver. When officers spoke to him, it was immediately clear that he was not in the right state of mind to be behind the wheel of a vehicle. Hey, Cubas Police Department. Officer Bernata, turn the uh the car off. What else? Holy Step for me, man. Yeah. No. Okay. Oh, no. Step out. Put it in park. Turn the car back on. Put it in park. You got your ID on you, bud? Yes, ma'am. All right. I'm just showing you. Okay. Do you want to take over? Nope. Is it? Push the brake down. Turn the car. Check it. We'll do We'll do that for you. Step up. I know. It's not in park. Okay. But he turned it off. He should have moved. Okay. Come on out. Want to take care of that? What's your Oh, the car. I got you, man. Come on. Step up. All right. Holy DUI. No, no, no. Come on. Come on. It's all right. I'll handle it. What's your name? Handle it. We got you. Okay. Come on. Step up. Step up. All right. All right. All right. All right. Just come with me. Okay. Hey. Hey. Relax. I know. You're good. We're the police. We're here to help. Okay. Come. Listen. Listen. Knock it off. I'm raising my hand. Yeah. Stop raising your hands. Where's Where's your ID? The suspect was extremely intoxicated, slurring his speech and babbling incoherently. Why he thought it was a good idea to drive a vehicle was anyone's guess. To make matters worse, the suspect told the officers he didn't have a driver's license because he was only 19 years old. So, what's going on? Why are you driving so fast? I mean, it's Key West. I'm just trying to get home. Where you coming from? Sorry. Don't be normal. Just don't put on your body. Where you coming from? I'm coming from that way, obviously. Okay. You guys know where uh Big Copa is? Mhm. Okay. I'm coming from that way to Big Cop. I live at uh three. You guys know where three is? Three. What? That's not very specific. Three. 13. 14. Okay. So, what's going on with you? What's going on with me? Yeah, you're obviously in distress. The car you're driving has damage. So, what happened? The suspect explained that he was driving his mother's car. The apple didn't fall far from the tree, though, because according to him, his mother couldn't drive it as she had recently got a DUI. The suspect was so drunk that he kept asking the officers if he should speak to them in Czech or English. English. Okay. English. I'm pretty. I have smoked tonight. Okay. I have not drink marijuana. Okay. That's put me on that. I was just But somebody else I'm going to continue. You ready? Go ahead. So I smoke tonight. That's it. Okay. I am on the way home. Mhm. I own a pressure washing machine. Okay. That's where I'm going. That's it. Okay. If you guys want to take me to the Jaws, it's fine. I understand. I asked you several times. Where are you coming from? You'll never answer. I'm coming from downtown. Okay. I smoked weed. Okay. And I'm high. I'm not going to lie to you. Okay. Why are you so filthy? Filthy. I work on auto mechanics. What happened to your toe? My toe 2106 Silverado. I'm not going to lie to you. Though he was proud to say that he owned a 2006 Silverado, it didn't help him explain why he was driving drunk. Furthermore, being high wasn't an acceptable excuse either. The officers also wanted to know why the vehicle had extensive front end damage and where it came from. Okay, so about this car. It is a fro in extensive damage. The other day when I was when I went to the house to serve your mom on that warrant today. She wants to know what happened to the car since the last time I saw it. I have no I have no I I know nothing about that. You know nothing about that. She's already gone to jail. You both know that. Who is my mother? Okay. She's already been to jail now. So So you're saying you don't know what happened to the car? Swear to God. Looked like this when you picked it up. Swear. Yes, ma'am. When was that? 2 days. So you've been driving driving this three three days. Okay. All right. So listen um right now I'm under impression that you're obviously under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Okay. You haven't told me that. So will you submit to the field soiety exercises to dispel my belief? There's no need to do field sobriety. I've been smoking the same. Turn around back. The suspect was put in cuffs and placed in the back of the squad car without incident. He was then escorted to the police station to be processed and breathalyzed. At the station, he continued to be uncooperative, although it seemed more alcohol induced than anything. I'm I'm going to fail the breathalyzer. You already won. You already won. Please. It's not about me winning. You cannot do anything. I know. I'm thirsty. I don't care. You can make it for 20 minutes, right? Okay. You stand up one more time. It's going to get much rougher. Loento, just relax, Chase. Yes, ma'am. I'm going to stand. Chase, you need to stay seated. Now, I'm going to stand right here and make sure you don't stand for the rest of this time. Understand? Great job. Okay. You're You want You want to know something? No, I don't. I don't want to know something. Okay. I want you to shut your mouth because I don't want to know anything that I don't want to know. Listen, I get it. Okay. You're a good I'm proud of you. I understand. Can I please just talk? Talk like an adult or talk like a 12. Talk like an adult. I'm 19 years old. Because right now I Listen, you're doing a great job. I get I get your papa. Trust me. I I'm in the co. Okay. Don't call me papa. That's weird. I didn't call you papa. I said bubba. Okay. I mean, you're I get it. I just graduated from the suspect was read his rights, claiming he was thirsty. He just couldn't seem to sit still, causing the officers to keep having to push him back into his chair over and over again. When it was time for the suspect to be breathalyzed, he made more inappropriate comments to the officer. You think these people understand you? Like they look at you as an immigrant. That's all they see you as. I know. I feel what they do. Please let me get some water. Listen, you can have water in about 5 minutes. All I need you to do, but you know they see you. You listen to me. They know you just see. You know they just see you as a student. I do. Okay, listen. Chase, you see how red? Look at him. Look at him. Chase, he's a weak. Chase, you don't even know. Chase. Chase, I just You want some water? Hey, what did you join the Marines like me? Search up my name, Chase. When they tell you know, you know what to do. I joined the Marines. They had to come to my house just to question my name. All right, Chase. Time for you to provide your stupid. He thinks he's smart. You're not making any sense, man. Can you look at me? Yes, ma'am. Okay. So, when I tell you to, you're going to put this in your mouth. These English doesn't think they know. I'm going to provide a Chase. Oh, you take these gloves off. These paws are moving quick. Mama Chase. The officer tried to explain how to operate the breathalyzer, but it was useless. It was as if it went in one ear and out the other. However, the suspect seemed to be nearing a breaking point when he started becoming emotional over the challenges of running his pressure washing business. You're a hardest one business. No, you're the hardest mother. [ __ ] little [ __ ] blue shirt. You're the hardest one. You're the hardest business down here. You know how hard it is. I'm a legitimate business owner and you think you should sit there and cut your life to run a business down here. It's hard. It's hard down here. Okay. It's hard to run a business down here. After more than half a dozen failed attempts, the suspect finally successfully blew into the breathalyzer. And to no one's surprise, he was way over the limit. But before releasing him, the officers faced the monumental task of reviewing paperwork with him. This guy in the blue is laughing all night. Yeah, because So you talking Sign a citation. That's all you need to do. I've signed plenty of citations in my life, but so it shouldn't be such a big deal, right? Signing three more is not nothing for you then, right? How many sign your life? Yeah. You think you're Mr. Big Dog, but you know you've been doing out to the You think you're Mr. Big dog. You know you've been doing stupid recording. I'm not calling you stupid. I'm saying you think I'm saying you think you're Mr. Big. We both know that you did stupid when you were young, too, right? You think you're All right, Chase. I'm over this. You signing it or not? I'm talking to him. You sign this or not? I'll sign it. Yeah, sign it now. Let me sign it now. I'll sign it if you want me to talk to him. No, I'm not going to let you talk to him. Sign it. Okay, we're done. What? Can I just stand up? Hold on. Can I Can I just talk to him? No. Proing. Stand up and go. Leave now. All right. I'll sign. I'll sign it for you. Settle down. Last check. You sign it now or I'm signing it. All I'm saying is sign it right now. We both know he's not. He thinks I mean All right. Whatever. Right here. Judging from his behavior, it won't be surprising if he gets arrested again. When that time comes, he should at least learn to shut his mouth and follow orders, and maybe things will go a little smoother for him. On November 27th, 2022, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying expired registration tags. However, the driver did not immediately stop and continued driving until coming to a halt in front of a liquor store. Hello. Step out of the car for me. What's the reason? Step out of the car. Hold on. Excuse me, sir. I I don't I don't need a reason. Step out of the car. What you do? I don't I don't feel safe. You have a warrant for your arrest. Step out of the car. You got a warrant for arrest. She has a warrant for arrest. Hold on. Can I see the warrant? You're going to get arrested, man. Tweaking on brain, man. Sit down. Sit down. Come and grab. Yes, I can. That's not how it works, buddy. Sit in the car. Can we see a warrant? Sit in the car. Hey, man. Call the police. I don't even know if you if you the right police or not, homie. You just going to pull up. Sit in the car. Can we see the warrant? That's not how it works. Can I see the warrant? No, you cannot. I don't know who you is, sir. I just see it. Say, you don't see the police car. Stop moving at home. You can't grab anything. You're going to get arrested. No, you're the police. Put your hands on your back. Can I see the warrant? That's not how it works. How? You have a warrant out of Oak County for traffic cuz you missed your court date again. No, I did not. They told me that I had to pay a fee. Okay, turn around so I can put the handcuffs on you correctly. Can you show me Can I Can I see? Sir, that's not how it works. I can't show you the lead's information. So, how do I know that this is true? Sir, I don't know if it's true or not. Cuz I tell you to step out of the car and then you grab my arm. Like, I don't know if this cuz I don't know what's going on here, sir. While the female suspect was escorted to the back of the squad car, the couple insisted that the officer needed a warrant to place her in cuffs. However, the officer explained multiple times she had an active warrant. So therefore, the officer had the right to take her in. So, we don't carry paper copies of it. When we get back, we can get that and show you guys. Hey, real quick, man. I don't want you be digging around in that car. Okay. Can you step out for me? Digging around for what? I don't know what she is in there. I'm not saying she's using any weapons, but I don't want you dig around. I was just in the car. No, I know. But you got to search the car. No, I'm just saying I don't know what I don't want to do. That's okay. I don't got no weapon for me. Most likely it's either going to be a new court date thing or maybe they'll say it's it's finished. Listen, Onisha, I can't figure that out. To me, okay. All right. I'm completely cool with you, but that's No, you have not because I asked you what was the reason why you was pulling me out the car. You just Yeah. In the state of Illinois, I can do that. I can tell you. Yes, I can. I just stopped you four literally two blocks back and you didn't stop. No, you did not. You just Yes, I did. I stopped you at the light and then you came went through two stop signs. Two stop signs. All right, we're done. With the woman in custody, the officers had some questions as to why the couple didn't pull over immediately when the officer initiated the traffic stop because they failed to do so. The officers thought they might be hiding something. Two things. If I come up to the car, I I p pull my lights on literally at that light and you guys continue to come all the way here. It's not you guys to decide. Understand real quick. Just let me speak by side and I'll let you talk. Okay? I'm going be completely decent with you. But obviously that's just the way it goes. I turn my lights on by the light. You guys pull into the parking lot. When I turn my lights on means pull the side of the road and I continue to go through two stop signs. We want to be honest. We want to be around. We want to be around people when we got pulled over. Okay. And then obviously with that being said, I'm not going to just come up to the car and be completely cool. I just got to know what you guys are doing. I don't know what child will be on y'all. The police, man. I don't know, man. I like I don't You see, I don't like I don't Man, I don't No. And And that's fine. And the other You just woke up, bro. Yeah. I I could arrest you right now, but I'm deciding not to cuz you grabbed my arm when I was inside the car. Like where I'm from. When people do the police do that, people be dying, man. You just walked up. Is that what happened here? No. Like I don't know what could happen though, man. The police are people, homie. I don't like like I don't even like being by y'all, man. Do you got an ID with you with us? Do you have an ID with you or No. No. Y'all don't got to have my ID, man. That just scared the out of me, man. You're not free to leave. Stay up there. Understandably, the male was frustrated that he couldn't leave the scene. As he didn't have a warrant, he thought he should be free to go. As one officer explained why he wasn't free to leave, things went from bad to worse real quick when the other officer approached the male suspect. So that from the sounds of it is that if you guys are taking this long to pull over, that's not normal. That's not what everyone else does in a traffic stop. Normally people immediately go to the right side of the road. So that way they get this stuff figured out. With you guys still going and obviously for tent, I'll be sure you tint probably illegal cuz in Illinois you got to have 35% in the sedan and that's probably close to five. So from our standpoint, there's two people in the car and we have no idea what's going on. Come on, man. Put your hand behind your back now. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. You're going to get another charge versus me, man. Y'all harassing me, man. Y'all harassing me, man. I ain't even had to do with this, man. Put your hands on your back, man. What do you have to do with this, man? Le all of a sudden I lock a mother up. Put your hands behind your back. Help. Put your hands behind your back. The suspect continued to cry out for help and only stopped resisting when the taser came out. With that, he stopped putting up a fight and officers were able to get him in cuffs. Much to the objections of the suspect, they got him onto his feet and began escorting him to the other police cruiser. Just pick him up. Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. Okay, that's fine. Give me my shirt, man. Go get your shoe. My hot shoe. All right, walk the second car. Only grave, man. Here's you. Let me go, dude. Stop. Let me holding me, homie. Not doing that. I don't want you holding me, man. I don't want too of me, man. Grace. That's fine. Come on. Mama get another try. Y'all lock me up. Every time I come out here. Every time y'all see me, y'all see me. Man, every time y'all see me, y'all lock me up. Man, stand still. Millie bra, man. All right. I don't want you dealing with Hey, homie. Could you deal with me and not him, sir? No. Huh? Could you please deal with me and not him? Calm down. All right. Could I'm telling you what I become. Could you deal with me and not him? All right. They got to search. All right. Could you Could you deal with me and not him? Okay. Maybe I can see what I can do. All right. Could you move him, man? Could you deal with me and not him, man? That's all I want, man. I don't want him dealing with me, man. Him. You got to deal with him. He touching my now, man. I don't want him dealing with me, man. Cuz you deal with me, man. All right. Let me go, man. Yes, man. I don't want grabbing me, man. I just don't want him touching me, man. Sit down. Goof, man. With both suspects secured in the back of the police cruiser, the officers took them to the station for processing. Throughout the drive, the male suspect claimed that the only reason he was in his predicament was because the police were racist, which in turn caused him to resist because he feared for his life. Okay, man. He just searched me, man. I'm fixing my underwear, man. You want that goofy, man? Goofy, man. That's goofy. He just search like I'm bring a knife like I got a knife or something. My underwear, man. He just grab my I'm trying to pull my underwear out my ass, man. What the he just searched me, man. He said search me, man. You search me. You Well, you were fine out there, too. You just searched me, man. Search me again. Pull him down so you can make sure I don't got nothing. Huh? Pull him down. Pull him down. Pull him down so you can see I don't got nothing. Huh? Pull him down. Pull him down. Pull him all the way down, man. You want me to squat and cough? Want me to bend over and close, sir? Huh? Pull it out. Pull up all the way down, man. Search it. One step away from you. Treat you like a child. No, I'm going to I'm going to take it off. Could you just stop? Okay. Okay. Come on, sir. Please. Please. Man, you already fought with us once. I'm not Cuz I'm feeling Cuz I'm telling you, I'm feeling scared. I'm feeling scared, man. I'm feeling scared, man. I'm feeling scared, man. I'm It's you. I'm feeling scared, man. I'm feeling Sir, I'm feeling scared, man. I don't I'm feeling scared. I'm not doing I'm willing to take it off, man. Could you just stop by getting up on me like that? So, I'm taking a step away. I'm going to take it off. Take your slides off. Put them right there. The woman was booked on her warrant and the man was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. If you thought he was bad at following orders, wait until you get a load of our next suspect. On June 23rd, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a report of two people passed out in a vehicle at a stoplight. When officers arrived, fire and rescue were already on the scene, attending to the male driver and his female passenger. To get to the bottom of things, officers separated the suspects and questioned them individually. Said he hasn't, you know, had anything to drink or he doesn't smoke, but his motor skills are a little slow. So, uh, okay. We'll figure it out. You want zero? Yeah, I'll put it in my car. Just stay over here, ma'am. Just Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can't. I'm You have to You have to sit on the bench. I can't. Just sit on the bench. You can sit on the bench. Who's your uncle? He's And he's director international cyber security. I just need your name. No, you have to sit down cuz I'm sorry. My name's Elise, but I can't. It's my baby. Listen, he's being fine right now. You can sit in the sit on the bench right now and you can watch him. Nobody said you were. Hang on. Okay. No. Anytime you pull somebody outside of their car, you guys can pull them over. You do realize that you were passed out in the car. I know that. I'm not the one driving, right? But you both were passed out. Both of us. Yeah. You don't remember that? No, I was passed out. What the? The officers told the woman to relax and take a seat while they questioned the man. But she was acting hysterical. She begged the officers that if there were going to be charges, she wanted them to be put under her name, even though she wasn't the one driving, but that's not how it works, and she was in no position to call the shots. Trust me, I get it. Just like stopping in the middle of the street, I totally understand. It's totally suspect. Yeah, let's just call Spain in Spain. Okay. What I'd like to do is I would like to check your eyes as far to make sure that you're okay to operate a motor vehicle. You all right with me doing that? Yes, sir. All right. What I'd like to do is step right over here because I want to get away from all these lights. No, man. No. That's too far for my because he has to do he has to do this. That's too far. Can I just stand on the corner? Yeah. Yeah, we can stand on the corner. You can watch him do his He's going to probably do the No, because if he gets pulled over, I'm going to like Whatever. All right. Stay here. I need to make sure. You're sure. You can stay on this side. Can you not body me then? Listen, don't bother me. Then listen, I'm not trying to be difficult. You are being very difficult. Okay, but if your wife was in this situation and it was your wife looking out for you, you would want her. No, because she's going to get in trouble. You're going to get yourself in trouble for no reason. Okay, let him do what he has to do. No, I can't. I'm sorry. The woman was being extremely overprotective. While we have no idea what she feared would happen to her boyfriend, as the officer said, her actions were only making things worse. If she kept it up, her boyfriend wouldn't be the only one in trouble. You said he what? He fell asleep. Yeah, he was passed out. We had to The fireman had to wake him up. You know, he works 95 hours a week. Then then that's that's what he's going to find out in his investigation. How these go? Because I've seen it on TikTok. How does these go? It goes the second they pull them over that you guys arrest. We didn't pull them over. Fire was here. They were here for a medical call. This gentleman here says you guys went through the light almost five times and nobody moved. How did we go through the same light almost five times? No, they kept going and you guys didn't move. It cycled five times. They said the second that tick Tik Tok said the second that you believe Tik Tok. Talk about brain rot. citing Tik Tok as a reference to question a traffic stop. Someone needs to tell this woman to get back to reading. Things weren't looking good for her boyfriend. Although she said he was tired from work, he was showing clear signs of intoxication throughout his field sobriety test. All right. So, you told my other officer that you didn't have anything to drink. All right. How much have you had? Sorry. Um, a couple cider. Couple cers. I saw on Tik Tok that you guys if he just fell asleep, it's not a problem. Has he been drinking tonight? No, he hasn't. I have 100%. I have. I know he's he's beyond exhaustion. I should have just gotten home, but instead I wanted to be selfish. All right. Not going to have any choice but to place you under arrest for DUI. So, what I'm going to do Nope. Stay right there. Come on over with me. Police. Yes. Oh. Hey, watch out. No. Back up. Right now. Back up. Back up. Back up. Don't back up. You're going to get yourself in trouble. He didn't do that. Stop. Stop. Stop. He didn't do that. Stop. No. Stop. Stop. Listen. He didn't do that. You're going to end up listen you're going to end up going yourself if you don't stop. I don't care. You should. Judging from her reaction, you would think that the officers just sentenced him to life behind bars. Although a DUI is a serious charge. It's not the end of the world. If she kept acting like a brat, she was going to wind up in cuffs next to her boyfriend. Hey, if she needs to go for resist, take her. Oh, for what? Just go. No, I'm not leaving you. You're going to need a ride home. I don't give a Please. No. Go home. Shut the up. I already got your badge number. That's great. How much is this bail? I don't know. I'll pay it right now. What is it? See a judge. You have to see a judge. How much? No. He has to see. No, because he put the food on the table. Back up. No. Back up. Back up. You're going to You're going to regret. You're a real strong man, right? Put your hands on a female, right? Oh, you're so scary. He's so in charge. Go stand over there. You're going to end up going. I don't care. Go over there. No. No. We didn't do stand over there, bro. You don't. You don't. You cannot have this. Will you put it back in my You're a jack. I hope your wife and kids leave me. The officers and her boyfriend both encouraged her to just walk away, but she couldn't resist sticking around to let the officers know what she thought about them. Since she kept insisting to be with her boyfriend, her wish was about to come true as they'll both be going to jail. Sway, it's not that hard to follow directions. Get off of me. Police, why are you making this so hard to follow directions? Get down. Get down. Lower it now. So now you're going to listen. No. No. You're a pathetic piece of It's not that hard to follow directions. You're a pathetic piece of You're going to You're going to catch a fell when you do that again. Let go of me. You're hurting me. You're hurting me. Stop. Stop turning around. Have a seat. Let go of me. No. Have a seat. All the way in. How the am I supposed to breathe when you have the door closed? I'll roll the window down for you. Really? Do that first. Nope. You're in first. Do it first because I have rights as a human being. You do. You also have to follow directions. Stop. Get in the car. It's not that hard. Being taken to the same place I said. Yes. Are you sure? Positive. 100%. In. Get in the car. You didn't do anything. Get in the car. Arrest me. You are. Get in the car. You're under arrest. Get in the car. Don't arrest him. Get in the car. Don't push me. Get in the car. Don't arrest him. I don't care if I get arrested. I know. Sorry. I don't know what's real and what's not. Everything on the internet. Stop watching Tik Tok. I'm sorry, though. Well, guess what? This is reality now. And that was how Tik Tok destroyed a young woman's brain. The man was charged with a DUI after he blew a blood alcohol content of.151. The woman was charged with resisting an officer without violence. On January 1st, 2023, police officers were called when a U-Haul truck was reported stolen after it wasn't returned by a group of brain rot teens. When the police finally caught up with them, one of them took off on foot. Stop. Please. Pull him over. [Music] Relax. Stop resisting. Stop. Why are we going to jail? [Music] All right. I got this. Why are we getting arrested for [Music] Can I get a It hurts. Please just relax. Why are we going to jail for? Why'd you run? Huh? Why'd you run? Cuz I was scared. The woman said the driver who took off in the U-Haul is her sister. Next, she pretended like she had no idea why the officers engaged her in a foot chase, chased her down, and placed her in cuffs. But as officers know, most people who aren't guilty don't run from the police. Next, the officers caught up with the driver. Driver, stay in the vehicle. Show me both hands. Show me both hands. Stay in the vehicle. Show me both hands. I can't see your left hand. Stop. Stop. Passenger, stop. Passenger's walking away. She's running out back. Bail out. Bail out. Running east. Stop. You're going to get 10. Stop. Passenger's running north. Better stop. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. What did I do? Chase is coming. What did I do? My was lasting for the 7-Eleven black tank top. Put your hands on your back. Do it now. Okay, put your hands on your back. Do it now. What did I do? What did I do? All right, I got this email over here right in front of the A71. We're good. [Music] The woman begged for leniency, pleading with the officer that they wouldn't take her to jail. If she didn't want jail time, then she shouldn't have run from the police when confronted. With two female suspects down, there was still one male on the loose. Okay. Do you want to talk about what's going on today? How you ended up in this situation? They literally just picked me up. Who's they? My sisters and and my boyfriend. Your sister? Your sister and her boyfriend just picked you up? Yeah. The two girls and him. They just picked me up from They picked you up in what? The U-Haul. In the U-Haul truck. Yes. Okay. And then you what? Drove down here to the gas station. Yeah, but they needed to stop and get gas. So, it was your sister, her boyfriend, and you? No, it's four. It's four of us all together. Who else? There's the other person. What do you mean? There was two. It's two of us. It's two of us. Me, Gabriella. Yeah, we are Ariana and that popping sound what we heard cuz you can ask him you heard. I got scared, right? Okay. I got that's what scared me. I don't know if it was gunshy. I don't know. I got scared obviously. I'm being honest with you, you know. And then you know obviously Okay. I didn't hear when you said you were going to tase me after. I didn't hear that right away. Well, I said stop. Yeah. I didn't hear you because adrenaline rush is going. You know, I'm I'm scared. You know, I'm trying to figure out what the hell's going on. I feel like we're getting bum rushed. I'm like But my thing is this. If you if you got scared, if you got scared and then you seen law enforcement, wouldn't you run to the law enforcement? Hey, I'm scared. I heard like maybe a possible gunshot or something. Listen. Okay. Not a big deal. All right. Not a big deal. So, you did you hear me say stop at all? No, I didn't hear the stop. I first stop when you tased me. When you tased me and I heard you the second time when you said it again, that's when I heard you heard the second time. Okay. Police officers found drug and paraphernalia in her purse, but she claimed it was her sisters. She said she was just holding on to it because some of her personal items were in it. But the woman's story wasn't adding up and the police weren't buying it and for good reason. Can I tell you something? Yes. You have a little bit of white powder on your nose right now that I'm looking at you. I don't have I don't know what that is though. You don't know what the powder on your nose is that you have right now. You want me to take a picture of your face so you can see it? No, you I don't have to You don't have No, you don't have to. You have You have white powder all up in your nose right here. I know you you don't have to. No, you don't have to take a picture. I don't I know you're not lying to me. Okay. Well, you're saying no. No. No. I don't. But you snort. No, I don't. Then what's the white powder substance that's all on your nose and everything? In your nose. Um, yes. Okay. So, it's um Yeah, I'm being honest with you. Okay. I'm not I'm not lying. Okay. So, you're saying no. No, no, no. is not good. But you do we off Okay. I'm just trying to because here's the thing. What I'm Okay, this this Okay, I appreciate what I'm getting at is I want to try and identify this powder substance that's in this bag because I don't want I'll make sure it's not another officer gets hurt out here. Okay, that's my concern cuz it really didn't look like but you had rock with the powder. So, I'm thinking it might be and there's a straw with it. Okay. So, you're telling me that the white powder in that bag that's your sisters is the rock. The rock. That's the rock was like You're saying the rock? We They What about the powder? We all did it. Powder. I don't know nothing about no powder. You don't know about the powder? No. This is that I just knew. We all We all do. We all do. Well, I'm going to test it and we'll go from there. As the woman continued to pretend that she didn't know why the officers were after her in the first place, the officer decided to slow it down and make things crystal clear to ensure there were no more misunderstandings. Okay. Like the you you said you when we first came out with you whatever you're like, "Oh, is this about the U-Haul?" Uhhuh. That's what you stated. You spontane said it was about U-Haul. Yes, it's about you. Uh stolen. That's under They said that's under his name. He's under Jeremiah. Yeah, he stole it. And you're in the truck. Okay. So that's the deal. You're in the truck. You're over here. All right. When you guys get out of the truck and you start walking away, the other officers attempt to do a stop on the truck. So then when we approached you guys to talk to you guys and detain you, reference the stolen vehicle, you fled at the sight of law enforcement. And when you fled from us, it's resisting. Okay. Then when I go through the bag that you have on your person, you have documents in there that have your name on it and in there. Okay. So that's pretty much the sum of it. As the officer explained the gravity of the situation, other officers caught up with Jeremiah, the alleged mastermind behind the U-Haul heist. And after reading him his rights, he was ready to answer some questions. Um, whose U-Haul is that? Uh, I've only rented it for How long did you rent it? It's been like a month. Okay. A month. When were you supposed to return it? Uh, from my knowledge that was basically Who you think? Uh my stepmom. She used to paint it. That's to my knowledge. Okay. What did they tell you as a return date? Uh cuz they don't just give you one forever. Yeah, I know. Uh she extended it. So she said she been she said she was still being there. When's the last time you talked to stepmom? Uh yesterday. And she told you yesterday that everything's good with that thing? I haven't I haven't been anywhere. I haven't been around you. the address my mom's house for. But it's rented under your name, not stepmom's, right? Yeah. So, why would she be the one handling all the payments? You realize you're responsible for it, right? You're the one checking. Young folks may not be as contracts savvy as grown-ups, but generally speaking, they know full well that signing something means they're responsible for it. What makes the suspect's claims even more questionable is he signed a certified letter demanding the vehicle be returned. Did you run from anyone? No, I did. Okay. See, I I just don't know for sure cuz I was over there obviously. You can ask. Yeah, I'm going to ask him. I just pulled up. He told me just get on the floor. I just got on the floor. Okay. So, you didn't run from no one? No, I was just standing there. Why do you think everybody else ran? I don't got nothing to hide. I'm not doing nothing wrong. I don't have nothing on me. I don't I never been arrested. I don't have no warrant. Okay. That's not what I asked. I asked why you think everyone else ran. Like they're running for a reason, right? I don't know if I see the police. I don't know. And you how long you been with them? One's your girlfriend, right? All right. So, you probably have a good idea why she was running, right? You've been hanging out with him in the vehicle. You probably have a good idea why she might run from the police. The man claimed that he had no idea why the woman ran from the police or that the U-Haul was stolen. Even though its return was long overdue, and he signed for a letter demanding him to return it. Even though the officer knew the suspect was lying, he still gave him a piece of advice. Well, for future, my man, if you're renting something, you need to make sure you stay in communication with them. I understand. Especially because they're going to give you a return date at the start, right? Especially if you're going past that. If you're extending something, then you need to be the one making sure that's getting paid for. I knew she was I knew she was extending it. Either either you're not telling me the whole truth or step mom did you dirty here. No, I'm telling you the whole truth. I I knew she extended a few days. So, I knew she extended it. How long was the original rent for? Uh, a week. A week. And this was back in November, right? So, a week from November. And you thought she's been extending it since then? It was like mid Novemberish. So, yeah. I thought she was I really thought she was extending it. I wasn't aware that she wasn't. We got one in yours. Yeah. I'm going to take it in. Okay. All right. Stand up with me. So, I'm being arrested. Yes. It's not the craziest thing in the world. It's just failure to return a lease vehicle is all it is. So, unfortunately, when they report a U-Haul stolen and we catch the guy that's with it, I really don't have much discretion on it cuz we got a victim saying they want to prosecute and some things went down. I will tell them that you're you're telling me everything you're telling me and uh hopefully they'll sort it out. Okay. In total, charges for the group included failure to return vehicle, vehicle theft, and possession of an illegal substance. On May 17th, 2023, officers were dispatched to a 7-Eleven after receiving a report that an employee was caught stealing. [Music] Hey, step down for me. Step down. Turn around. Got anything on you I need to know about? No, just my phone is closed. Okay. You got Where's your stuff at? I don't got my phone. Your phone. That's it. My phone and AirPod. Okay. All right. Come with me. I'll tell you what everything that's going on in a second. Okay. You ever been arrested before? Your phone? How long you been down here? Just your feet for me. Oh, I'm sorry. You want to check this out for me? What's up? I don't want to seem like it's disrespect. Oh, I know. It's a respect thing. I appreciate that. You were raised right? Yes, sir. As the officer noted, the suspect Shakari was extremely polite and cooperative. Everybody makes mistakes and there's often room for second chances. After securing Shakari in the back of the police cruiser, the officer spoke to the manager who provided him with evidence of the theft. All those transactions, it shows the basically the register opening and yes, he's doing it for everything. So, and there's no customer and no customer. So like uh I can show you one example like how does it look like you know just if I go over to play back okay you see him see he just this is his card Amazon he just scan that okay he put the money 200 that's a transaction he puts it there's no customer okay and he just did now and just shut the drawer yeah and just see he you need to confirm on the screen because he's ask you 200 he say confirm yeah and then receipt is going to print out see he just confirmed it that's his card okay that's who's this right here this another guy who works in the morning yeah is new. So like you know and so he he didn't know black PC he just took out the receipt and he's going to throw the receipt and he's going to put the card over here. So that's his Amazon card but then he was using his phone so he was doing his cash app. This is all cash app we direct. This is all cash app like 400 200 250. This is all cash app. The manager showed the officer more examples of theft caught on video. In total across nearly 30 fraudulent transactions Shikari was able to steal $8,790. It would appear as though he wasn't raised right after all. Uh, did he ever have permission or authorization to do this from you? Like, did he have permission or authorization to take money from you guys? No. No. You guys never gave him permission? No permission. Like, uh, the thing here, this is only for the customer. The customer ask you do that, you know, and you put So, how much right now? So, the right now your business is at loss of $8,700. Yeah. I'm almost like if if I show you here in my report. Uhhuh. And how does that get paid back or does that just come out of your guys' business? Yeah, that's my expense now. So yeah, that's my So see uh when I the responsible to all the money to put like everything go to 7-Eleven and they pay me back at the month end to cut all the cost and everything and I get the commission. 7-Eleven and we are the partners. They take 55% I take 45%. Yeah. Okay, guess is 71. It's not mine. Mine is inside the business. Okay, so now if I'm short, it's my responsibility. So we call them, what the hell is happening? Why we're coming short, you know, and then they did all the research from their side and they sent this. They have this guy Sikari, he's doing all this transaction, check him out. Okay. And then they giving me the whole list and then then I went inside and then how I figure out, okay, he's the one who's doing that. The officer asked the manager to send him a copy of the surveillance footage to be used as evidence. With the evidence stacked against him, Shakari confessed and told the officer he wanted to apologize to his manager in person. Hey, Shakari. Hey. So, here's the deal. Um, you she read you your marriage rights, right? Do you know what's going on? Uh, yes, sir. Okay. So, you we got a bunch of video and transactions and uh over the course of the last week, $8,500 in Cash App and Amazon cards have been uploaded by you. 85. Yeah. So, I got all the list and I was just reviewing all the video and stuff like that, too. Um, so I guess, you know, for me what I just, you know, I don't know, look, if if you're struggling or your mom's struggling to pay the bills or if you have somebody that's in need. So I always like to ask people at the beginning of our conversations the wise because it's kind of important to me to establish, you know, where you're coming from. um you know because I understand we all fall in hard times but the way you went about it obviously you know right now the business is is is in some negative net for for uh this month because of everything going on. Shakari was apologetic. He said that his little brother's graduation was coming up and that he wanted to do something special for him. But as the officer said $8,790 would be too much for a graduation gift. The officer was tired of playing games and wanted to know where the money went. Where's all that money now? I ain't going to lie, there's no more left. It's only $20 left. Where the hell did it go? It was only I'm not not even going to lie to you from just cash app. It was only a,000. I swear to God on my little brother Greg. I swear to God that that was it. And then I we got I got and I ain't going to lie, I got food with that. Half of that went to food. Um, what about your Amazon card? Them Amazon's gone. They uh when I put it in the whistle, it shut the whole account down. I swear to God, they shut up. You spend money on it? Uh, I spent like what? Here's the thing. We're going to we're going to forensically go through your phone and all your your apps associated with it and we're going to find out exactly where that money went to. So that's why, you know, to save yourself the embarrassment later, I, you know, cuz I can track down the subpoena or the bank routing numbers that it went to, credit cards that it went to, cash apps that it went to. They have to provide us all that. So we issue a subpoena and the financial institutions have to give us everything. Where where it went, who withdrew it, who produced identification to withdraw it, what phone number it's associated with, what Wi-Fi IP address it's associated with. Whether or not he told the officer where the money went made no difference as the police would find out one way or another. Knowing there was no way out, Shakari said that he had been sending money to his little brother and didn't want him to get in trouble. The officer explained that he wouldn't be in trouble if he didn't know it was stolen. So, everything obviously is on camera. We see you pick out your um whether it's your card or your phone, scan it. We even see you reach over to hit confirm on the thing. And then we watch you throw the receipts in the garbage. Like, you know, it is what it is. Everything's on camera for every single transaction. Yeah. Um, and trust me, they got every single transaction. Um, everything is recorded. Huh? Uh, not outside of myself. Okay. So, at this point, there's uh 28 transactions and $8,500. There's a few on the 11th, a bunch on the 14th, and a bunch on the 15th. Okay. So corporate contacted yesterday and uh and and we've been doing our little thing investigation on this since yesterday. I've seen all the video. I seen all the transactions. Um you know that's what that's what it is. So um you think I could talk to the manager? Like I I like I told her already that I want him to know like this feeling like anything. Uh this this is not for him bad intentions where I intend to hurt him or his company that you needed money for your family and now you're saying the money's gone. He said he would do everything in his power to pay the manager back. The officer told him that although that was admirable, restitution would have to be settled in court. Next, the officer wanted to know where Shakari learned to pull off the scheme. How did you figure out that you could do that? like scan the QR code and load cards. Not even going to lie. I seen a customer came in one day and he he had you know what prize pix is? What? Prize pics. You know what prospects is, right? No. Drag kings. Oh yeah. It's like it's prospect is like that. Whatever you bet on, you win a profit or whatever. I basically wanted to get put on, but I guess he weren't putting me on and he was like, "All right, bro. I'm going to need about 500 on this, 500 on that, and then 400 on this. And I'm just like, but he's giving cash. Yeah. But I'm just like, bro, how are you getting this? I'm I'm not telling him this, but I'm like, how are you getting this cash? So I'm like, bro, yeah. So you're thinking if I open up my own QR code on my cash app, I can scan it. But didn't you think that they were going to notice a shortage in the cash register? See me, I I'm ain't going to say I'm slow, but at times I'm I'm slow. Sometime I I don't I don't talk about a serious case of brain rot. He literally said he just doesn't think about the consequences. Unfortunately for him, being slow isn't a valid excuse for stealing thousands of dollars. Although Shakari was foolish, the officer could at least appreciate his honesty. Where's Where's Where's the gift cards that you wanted? Uh they're they're gone. I ain't What did you spend those on? I didn't spend those on anything. I just cuz they wasn't working. So, I was like, you know what? They might be lucky to find some in the trash can inside the building. Put a trash can over there on the side. Anything else you want to tell me? I don't want to be like that's it and then something else come up like it's going to be music. Is it Okay. All right. Uh, hopefully I want to say Yeah. Huh? I want to say Yeah. You want to say that's how? Yeah. I want to say that's how. Okay. All right. Just sit tight for me for a little bit. All right. And we we're going to try to get this done quickly. Shakari was charged with organized theft under $20,000 and grand theft over $5,000. At least he kept his composure and remained polite throughout the ordeal, which is way more than we can say for our next suspect. On November 13th, 2024, police were dispatched to a parking lot regarding a domestic disturbance. According to reports and multiple witnesses, an 18-year-old man lost his temper after another man talked to his girlfriend. Hey guys, what's the So, officer clip release. So, the reason why I'm making contact with you is because some random dude pulled by and I told him to go away if that's the issue. Okay. Well, we got a call saying that you guys were you were arguing with another girl and that you girlfriend. We can argue and probably Okay. Well, we just want to know what's going on. We got a call. So, we got to do our due diligence to come out here and investigate. Okay. Argument's gone. Okay. So, everything's done, right? No traffic stop. You never pulled me over. Nope. So, right now we're investigating because we got called out here for a reason, right? What's the reason you got called out here for? That it's a domestic relation. It's a domestic that you guys were yelling at each other. So, we just I was yelling at her. My car was broke. She got out. I'm telling you the story. Okay. Some dude pulled by, started yelling at her. I don't like guys talking to my girlfriend. So, I got in my car and told him pull away. And then after he left, he said, "I want Can you exit the vehicle for me? Can you exit the vehicle for me?" Oh, no. I'm fine. She's fine. My partner's going to come here and talk to you. So, if you can just exit out. I have to work, sir. And I really don't have I understand that. We have like other things. I understand that, but the faster you guys the faster you guys cooperate with us and what is really going on. What did I do wrong to cooperate with you about No, no. The thing is, could they could have called on another black male and a female in the car? How do you know it's me? Did they give you a license plate? The man belligerently explained that he was having car trouble, causing his muffler to fall off. When his girlfriend got out to inspect the damage, another man arrived and offered help, whether the John Doe was hitting on his girlfriend was up for debate. But what wasn't debatable was the suspect's extreme overreaction. Can I get out of my car, please, and I'll walk back there away from you guys? Cuz I do not like No. So, we need to talk to you. Okay. The whole time I've been talking to you, you've been arguing with me. Yeah, cuz you don't need toinging talk to me for what? Like, I got a call saying that you were yelling at a female. Okay. If you're talking to me about that situation, the situation's done and someone's coming to fix the car. So, what's the problem? Okay. So, why were you guys yelling at each other? Because that was talking to my girl and I told her to get in the car. I already told you this. Miss, can you exit the vehicle and talk to her? Let's exit the vehicle and go tell that happened. If he kept acting up, it wouldn't be long before he found himself in jail. And if it wasn't obvious enough, calming down was the last thing on his mind. What's the issue? You're a public servant. Shut the up. I'm not asking you a damn question. Okay. Get in your car. I want to talk to him. I don't want you by Martner. Shut the [ __ ] up. I did not ask you a question. According to the suspect, the man hitting on his girlfriend was one thing, but what really set him off was the officer's presence and the fact that they were stopping him from going to work. But if he really wanted to make it to work on time, all he had to do was cooperate for a few minutes and he'd be on his way. I don't want to be in my car anymore. And y'all forced me to sit in this. Bad told me I couldn't get out. Calm down. God, I didn't want to punch. Get that. Get out of this and close that face. Actually, I don't care. I'm getting out and I'm going to walk a safe distance for you. Okay. Hey, come here. What do you need? Don't walk towards me. Then go the away. All for you. Then come and talk. Also told me I couldn't get out of my car. So tell that he doesn't know what the he's talking about. No, I could tell you you can't get out of your car. Why did you tell me too? Why the every tell me a different wanted to? Calm down. What's the main issue here? It's one thing if he doesn't like the police, but he doesn't have the right to ignore basic questions that officers have probable cause to ask.
