You made me let her out. You're a sorry [ __ ] You go about your business. You are a sorry [ __ ] Car my dog. You made her let him. Okay, it's on the camera. Sorry, [ __ ] Your dog went by. I don't give a man. Tackle me. You sir, you fell to the ground. I told you my knees are up. I want to take everything right by the numbers and by the book, sir. Okay. Buy the numbers and buy the books, sir. That's what we do. That's correct. Maintaining high professional standards is important in every occupation. Not doing your job with integrity can lead to extremely negative outcomes. This is especially true for law enforcement officers. When corrupt cops make the worst decisions of their lives, it usually guarantees the end of their career. I asked him to go away. I understand. Where did I what did I do? Stop talking. I can talk if I want. I'm older than your ass. I don't care. Stop. Going, man. Tmacula, California. Deputy Robert Glazer was dispatched to a residential community on September 14th, 2022 to investigate after a woman called 911 to complain about a man who had been annoying her. At first, it looked like a classic case of neighbors getting on each other's nerves. Yeah, officer. You know, this has been an ongoing saga since I came in, uh, since I arrived here in July of 20. Okay. And so, uh, I was just about to get this thing out of here right now because I don't want to be towed away because I'm under terrible scrutiny for nothing. She continues to gossip and call me names and call me uh, dirty, nasty names. I forget what they were now. They were so awful. But I called her just now. I walk in the door and I hear her calling me a scumball soon as I walk. So I walked up the stairs and I confronted her. I said, "Don't you have anything better to do than to talk about my personal business in here?" And she snapped at me again. I go, "You're aing." And then and then I called her a [ __ ] Uh later after some more words were done. And then the after schools lady just immediately calls the management uh team leader, Bianca Hernandez. Very fine people. I have no squams with her. She has to do her job. I understand that. But here's the thing. They allow an a young man who's who's underage. They they want me out because I'm not of age. It's a 55 and over. Do you live here? Well, yes and no. Okay. Technically, I'm not on the lease and I'm not um I'm not a registered guest. Okay. But I'm an invited guest by a client by my my client. He has me come over. He asked her, he said, "Don't can I have a friend?" And she said, "Yeah, you can have a friend here." And so, uh, I have been his friend and I have been responsible and I have been forthright and I don't break the law and I don't do anything nefarious or whatsoever. I have a close relationship with God. I love people and God. I'm a good guy. All right. It's lame when officers have to act as referees in petty squables between neighbors. But this wasn't exactly a stressful case for Deputy Glazer. It was sounding more and more like a routine spat that residents could work out themselves without law enforcement's involvement. But all that changed in the blink of an eye. You know, I I continue to be harassed by some of the people in here, you know, telling me to, you know, you know, put on a shirt, you know, when I don't need to put on a shirt. There's no laws in California telling me I have to keep a shirt on wherever I go, officer. And he's worried about me being seen by the children over here by uh without a shirt on. This guy right here. This guy right here. Yeah. All right. Go over there. I'll I'll stop. Stop. Stop. Go over there. I'll deal with you in a minute. Hey, shut up. Go over there or you're going to end up in the back of my car. You don't think I will put you in my car? You won't. I bet you not with these. I will put you in the back of my car. Go over there. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. You're impeding my investigation, sir. True. The handicapped man was yelling, but he was also walking away as instructed. He posed no obstacle for Deputy Glazer. There was no objective threat nor disorderly conduct. In fact, it looked more like a power trip. One can't help but wonder if Glazer imagined himself as an apex predator stalking vulnerable prey. Put your hands behind your back or you're going to end up getting tased. Okay. Put your hands behind your back. For what? Cuz I said so. And you're impeding my investigation now. How am I impeding your investigation, man? Put your hands behind your back now. What did I do? Okay. You're going to get tased. What? Put your hands behind your back now. For what? I said so. You're impeding my investigation, sir. Put your hands behind your back now. I can't even walk, man. What are you doing? Sir, sir, put your hands behind your back now. What am I doing? Put your hands behind your back or you're going to get tased. Tased for what? I can't. You're not listening to me. Man, just put your cuffs on me, man. Damn. I just got to put cuffs on you, sir. What are you doing, man? In the back of my car cuz you're impeding my investigation. All I did was show you my knees. Stop. What the are you talking about? Stop. I have it all on video. I don't give a up, man. You going to tackle me? And sir, you felt a friend. I told you my knees areed up. This didn't need to be a stressful situation, but Officer Glazer made it stressful by needlessly escalating. Think about this. If he can't keep his cool in a routine interaction with citizens, how would he respond in a more dangerous setting? Mying knees are hurting, man. What did I do? I have already explained it to you. You're impinged my investigation. Now you're going to end up in the back of my car and arrested. I can't get up. We'll help you up. Go over there. You have to let him be able to get out. I'll wait till my partner gets here. Waiting for my partner to get here. I can't believe it. I asked him to go away. I understand. Where did I What did I stop talking? I can talk if I want. I'm older than your I don't care the [ __ ] Stop. Yes. What are you doing, man? Stop. What are you doing? Stay on it. Stay here. I can't walk. Stop trying to pull away from me, man. I'm not How the can I pull? Why you think I lay down, man? The is your problem. Stop. Is this me, man? Okay. Are you serious? They understand. Oh, you going to get it. Cal pur member. You going to get Oh, you going to get it. Your walkie-talkie is right there. Your thing. Stop. Look at No, get that camera and show what he's doing. I haven't done but walk right here where I live and you come do this to me, sir. I'm a resident. I don't care. I've been living in Tmacula for 12 years. The longer this forceful detention dragged on, the worse it got. It's also an unfortunate coincidence that the body cam visuals were cut for several minutes. Luckily, the audio remained clear, which captures residents speaking up to express their disapproval of the deputy's actions. That's how dump you look. Stupid resisting is because he can't like that. Well, as for my safety, he's going to have to. He didn't even come. Wow. I got tackled in mying place. for my safety. How is it for your safety? Because he keeps pulling his hands away from you, ma'am. I don't know him. That's because you came up. You came in and attacked me. What are you talking about? Seniors moving around. You're stupid, man. You're going to be in trouble. Y is going to be in trouble. Okay, great, sir. Several backup squads soon arrived, creating more tension where it wasn't needed. An ambulance also came to check out the handicapped man. After the altercation was finally over, Deputy Glazer recovered his body cam. I want him to walk away. He refused to keep going. He kept chipping back. Gary, go inside. You're making the matters much worse, ma'am. You okay? I'm good. I appreciate it. Okay. You are my partner all your information. Yeah, not a problem. I'm sorry he g you a problem, man. It's okay, man. Wow, that sucks. You good here, though? I'll be right back. Yeah. You know this guy? I just I talked to him 100 times. All right, I'll be right back. Yes, sir. Deputy Glazer was super out of breath. It took a lot of energy for him to subdue a handicapped man hobbling around on two crutches. Maybe if he had been in better physical condition, he wouldn't have felt so easily intimidated. He also lied about the handicapped man not walking away, but the footage doesn't lie. Okay. Hey. Hey, Ryan. Come over here. Okay. Just making matters worse. Would you like some? Yeah. No. Can I talk to you over here, please? Is there a lease agreement that says that he cannot be here? She's not saying he cannot be here, but he cannot be here. He's not Well, Bianca, she's not even that. Problem is, he's a tenant. He has all rights as a tenant. Unless a tenant, this guy isn't. The guy you're talking about, he has unless there's rules and regulations that say he can't have guests. There's an eviction in process. Doesn't matter. Okay. So until that eviction is done and he is no longer has standing, there is nothing you can do with him. In the end, police involvement was pointless. The handicapped man, George Whing, filed a false arrest lawsuit and was awarded $498,000 in compensation. He was a veteran who had undergone two knee surgeries before the incident. As for Deputy Glazer, he ended up being terminated after an internal investigation revealed it wasn't his first time using unnecessary force. On April 11th, 2022, Deputy Carl Lampin of the Sheriff's Department in Jacksonville, Florida, arrived at a home after a mother contacted 911 because her teenage son had been terrorized by their neighbor's Great Dne. There was a question over whether the boy had been trespassing. Good morning, ma'am. Hey, how you doing this morning? Just fine. Okay. Hey, reason why I'm out here about to call about a kid on your on your car being chased by dogs and your husband pulling the gun on. We don't even own a gun for one. Okay. Two, my husband never made it out of the house. My I got woke straight up from my dogs raising hell. I opened the door, my gate was open. There's no way for my gate to get open if somebody don't open my gate. So, I go out in my underwear, shut the gate, I turn around to come back in the house, and he's sitting on the back of the car. Mhm. I said, "Get off the car." "No, your dogs are chasing me." I said, "My dogs are in this fence. Get off the car." He refused to get off the car. Okay. So, I told him it was about to be a bad day for him and I come back in the back door and when I did, he took off running up the road. That's the last we seen of him. Okay. I was hoping his mama would come back down here. You don't send a kid out at 6:30 in the morning somebody's house opening a gate in their backyard. So, is he in your backyard? He was. He had to have been. The gate was open. My dogs would have been out. Our dogs surprised him when he stepped through that gate. That's what happened. I've only had heat pump stolen out here. I've had a table stolen out here. That's why those dogs And was he um was he standing on top of your car? Yes. On the back of the car and would not leave. Was his mother on the phone at any time? I don't know. He got down and ran and that's all we know is he ran around that road in the backyard. Did your dogs ever come outside? No. If the boy was chased by the dog while sneaking around their property, then the dog was innocent. As for the gun, it was possibly the tall tale of a scared child. Plus, the boy's mother, who contacted police, was not an eyewitness. At this point, Deputy Lampin should have taken a step back and realized there was zero evidence to determine what really happened. You can go back there. You can I'll go up here right now and they will not come out of that fence on you. Okay. Well, let me see him. How you doing, sir? I'm doing great. You suck. No, go ahead. You go open the gate. I'll be there. Besides getting woke the hell up. Okay. Did you pull Did you have something in your hand? Oh, no, sir. I had my fist and that's what I intended to use when I got to him. Mhm. Did you see them in your backyard or anything? No. Okay. But what my wife says is true. My dogs don't go outside that damn fence if it's open. It can be wide open and they don't go outside. To their credit, the family was trying to cooperate. However, the idea of letting the dog outside was preposterous. There was no public danger to anyone if the dog remained inside. Instead, Deputy Lampin decided to act as judge, jury, and executioner. For any dog lovers out there, you might want to cover your eyes. You stay right here. Ways out the gate. Hey, bud. Hey, come on. Get back. Get down. Why would you do that? Your dog didn't. Oh my god. You really just shot my dog. What the [ __ ] You mother. You will. You mother. Let him loose. Let him loose. I will [ __ ] you up. Let him loose. Mike 319. Give me 1033 units and send a story, buddy. Don't get yourself in trouble. Mother, you better get the [ __ ] out of my dog. Get the [ __ ] out of my dog. Why would you do that? Oh my [ __ ] dude. You going to get yourself in trouble. I'm trying to save you. You better leave my goddamn house. Get back. Staying now. Ma'am, get back. Leave my goddamn house. No, I'm not. Right now. It's okay. It's okay. You just stay until my kids die. You leave my goddamn house, sir. I'm trying to I'm trying to save you. [ __ ] you, sir. I'm trying to save you. I'm trying to save you. You let my dog out and you made me ma'am. Your dog bit me. Why open the gate? The family obeyed Deputy Lin's arguably unlawful and certainly unwise commands. And the result was a tragedy beyond their wildest imagination. Lanin might argue self-defense, but it's undeniable that this was all completely avoidable. You made me let her out. You're a sorry mother. You go about your business. You are a sorry mother car. My dog. You made her little. Okay, it's on the camera. Sorry, [ __ ] Your dog wouldn't bite. Her. I didn't say she wouldn't bite. I said she wouldn't come out. You said she's friendly. Oh my god. You see what you just did, ma'am? Or punch you in your goddamn mouth. You will not do that. You will not do that. I swear to God, I won't. I I listen. I say if you want, you will not. You will not. You will not punch me. You think I [ __ ] you? You will not. Take him in the house. You think I [ __ ] Come here. Do it. Come here, [ __ ] Take Get your son. Get your son. Get your son. I know you're upset. Calm down. Calm down. I know you're upset. He killed her. I know. I know he did. God, come. So, give me that tablet. Are you 77? Got an 18 to a dog. He did it. 18 to a dog. Shots fired. 77 bit upset. Get back in that [ __ ] house. I want to see my [ __ ] dog. I'm right here. I'm going you. No, you're not. The son's raw anger is understandable. Anyone who has loved a pet would empathize. The one-year-old dog was named Lucy. And while Lucy may not have been perfectly trained, Deputy Lampin's training was also far from satisfactory, he decided to arrest the son for throwing an empty can of soda at him. What's his deal? He was making a bunch of statements. Then he threw a can of soda or something at me. Like was by you and you moved or I moved, but he threw it as good enough. If it was 6 milesi away. Okay. He threw it at me with the intent to hit me. I just want to make sure that we have what we need. What was what was the original reason for the call? Original reason uh had a uh kid call said the dog was robbed of him. Got a defense. He was on the back of the car. Dad came out chasing down the street with a gun. Wife said um kid he was on sitting on the back of the car wouldn't move. Said the dog's rob of him. Denied the dad having the gun. She said her dogs would not come out the gate. And she said I can open the gate. The dogs will come out the gate. And she opened at the gate. Dog came out with head lord tail wagon. Bad dog. Yeah. Came out with head lord tail wagon. I put my hand down for normally sniff the back of your hand. Okay. So he bites my bites my finger then turns around bit bite at my back leg like Mchilles lower Achilles which he bites that too. Fired a couple shots hit him. Son comes out making all statements. Yeah man. One time he picks up the thing I back. He came he back. I had the gun out and I back and I'm like hey trying to save you. Trying to save you. As dad to get him get him in the house deescalated. I walked around the house when they were talking and u to get my tablet. He actually um threw something at me like a can soda. Homeboy did. Yeah. Where's the soda at? But but that's it. Okay. That that that's it for that dog is his or he has enough. He has enough. Listen, he threw something at me. No, I just I get it. I'm just I'm I'm going leave it at that. You already know. All right. Deputy Carl Lampin's conduct was internally investigated with the department's brass ultimately clearing him of wrongdoing. The family filed a civil suit against the Jacksonville Sheriff's Department in December of 2024 after the body cam footage had been released. The outcome of the case is not yet known. On August 8th, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah, police were dispatched after a homeless man called 911 upon discovering the lifeless body of another homeless man in a nearby tent. The deceased was eventually identified as 47-year-old Jason Lloyd. The body cam footage shows how responding officers treated the whole situation like a joke. He does have a bloody nose. [Music] Doesn't smell. So, I mean, there might maybe it might be a bad idea to have homicide coming. Perfect. All right. Well, let's get your tape. Yep. We need help. Right. This is going to be a and a half. So, what do you want assistance with? Right. So, there's going to be need to be notifications, right? There needs to be tape. Block it off. You try and ID him. Okay. So, pick something you would like them to do and have them do it so we can focus on someone else. Okay. Can you try and ID him or the girls won't eat douche? Okay. I'll have them um get in contact with homicide. As police cordined off the scene, they contacted the homicide division and also called for a medical examiner. As they discussed the process for identification and removal of the body, they exhibited an attitude that was less than professional. In civilized society, it's important to show respect to dead bodies. Absent this, we risk devolving into monsters. Let's be wary. When they move him, he might explode. Mhm. Good chance he will. You've been on No, this is the first one. So, you got to help move. No. Really? Yes. You helped move them? Yes. Okay. You didn't think that was a thing? No, I didn't know that. Does the job I've moved I've moved plenty of No, I didn't know that. Okay. So, okay. Um, just be aware. In the police report, it was revealed that one of the officers, Officer Smiggle, was a new recruit undergoing training. But the training officers looked at this not only as a teaching moment but also a chance to haze the rookie as it was his first time handling a corpse. They also openly discussed their contempt for the homeless this time in Salt Lake. Any time of year I was homeless. It definitely wouldn't be Salt Lake that I I pick about it. I don't think any of us would live the same way that the people here live when they're homeless. We'd probably have a tent and a backpack and like be out of sight, out of mind. Yeah. You know what I mean? Keep our stuff consolidated. There'd be a reason we were homeless though. Like not like these guys where they're all dopers and Yeah. addicted devices. Yeah. But I mean, a lot of it come down. They're just kind of [ __ ] And yeah, you can give them a diagnosis to explain it. Diagnosis is correct, but in layman's terms, that's why they can't stay house. With so many cops standing around bored with nothing to do but wait for the other agencies to arrive, these chatter boxes decided it was a good time to talk about the psychology of homeless people and homelessness as a social issue. Or just embrace the fire, man. You know what? If you do that, you take a breath. I'll give you five. Well, you give me a five on. I don't know yet. Something. You'll get a five. You'll get a Okay, it'll show up. I like I like that if you do that, you get a five and then you puke then it negates it. If you throw up, you get a Oh man. So I should just hold my breath and you do you both. You be and go forward. Embrace the fire and run the risk of the beginning. 35. It said Vegas. When are you losing? So, what do they do to break the seal on him? Moving. Moving. Okay. The movement is nothing. Slice him open here. Oh god. They start the autopsy. We'll get him. [Music] Does Does it look like he's been sitting for a while? You'd say he's been down for at least It's true. Many of us use humor as a coping mechanism to get through stressful situations. But at minimum, cops should be professional, courteous, and respectful around a dead body, regardless whether it's that of a wealthy person or a homeless man. Go help. I feel like you're pranking me. I'm not. Go help. Why are you smirking like that? Cuz it's just funny. You think it's a joke, but I giving you I feel like Oh my. Do you mind if we just do like some popping? Do you guys need any help lifting him or You want to help? I'm just They're ask they're telling me I think they're pranking me. Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. May not want to help, but we're going to allow him to help. There you go. You allow me to help. All right. Take this. All right. What do you want me to do? Shield your face. Shield. It looks like it's mostly gas. Go ahead and just pop all the blisters right there. Yes, sir. Anything inflated? Yeah, just poke it. It's gas. Yeah. Get them all. All right. Yeah. Aaron, do you want to see? Uh, baby. Yeah. Let me What's up? You can drive. Okay. You guys suck. That we had to do that. That's okay. I legitimately moved my first dead body. Really? I don't want him to stink, though. Of the eight officers involved, one resigned from the force. As for the others, they received slaps on the wrist, ranging from a warning to a 3-day suspension without pay. On the night of September 21st, 2024, a patrol in Springfield, Massachusetts, investigated the damage to a car with a missing tire parked in the restricted zone of the front entrance to the MGM casino. As it turned out, this car belonged to someone the officers knew intimately well. [Music] How you doing, Sheriff? Good. Very good. Good. Hi, Lieutenant Cory Maxi. Was that who's busting what? Change his tire. Okay, just to let you know, we came down to this. Uh, we are recording, just so you know. Uh, what happens? What's going on? I popped the tires. Do you know where? We're trying to We were looking to see where you were in the casino and everything. And it's all good. It's all good. Change the tire. Okay. Okay. All right. The problem is, hang on for a second. Were you the one driving it? No. You weren't driving it? No. Okay. Who is driving you? Friend of mine. A friend of your He's in the casino now. Yeah. Okay. We'll see that, too. All right. But I need you to stay here for a second. All right. Sir, none of us wants to be involved in this. All right. But I can I can I can smell I can smell alcohol coming from your breath. I've got this right here. Everything's on camera. I got to take it by the numbers. Change the tire. I got to take it by the numbers. Okay. Sit tight. In a flash, the responding officer, Lieutenant Corey Mackey, confronted Sheriff Nicholas Coochi, an elected official in Hampton County. Mackey had probable cause to believe the sheriff had been behind the wheel of the damaged car while drunk. After initially lying about who was driving, Coochi tried his best to weasel his way out of taking responsibility. Seriously? I'll tell you what. Leave the car here. Leave it. No, sir. I Sir, I'm going to ask you to stay here. Stay put. All right. Why? Till we figure this out because based on what I'm seeing here and and and smelling alcohol under your breath, I'm going to have to do an investigation through this. Okay. Okay. All right. And if everything is fine, you know, if if if it determines that there's no change the tire. No, he's not changing the tire right now. Absolutely not. You can change the tire. He's not changing the tire yet. Yeah. Okay. Why go down that road? Huh? Okay. I want to take everything right by the numbers and by the book, sir. Okay. By the numbers and by the book, sir. That's what we do. That's correct. While Sheriff Coochi tried to execute a power play, Lieutenant Mackey shut him down at every turn. He was on to Coochi's mind games and attempts to manipulate the situation. Lieutenant Mackey was firm about not turning off his body camera. Sir, sir, just stand over here for me. All right. Go back in. No, you're not going back into the sir. Sir, sir, I understand you are the sheriff. I respect that immensely. Right now, I'm conducting an investigation. Okay. I need you to stay here and follow the directions. Okay. All right. You can't pop the tire, huh? What's that? You can't pop a tire. You're not going to be able to put a tire on that rim anyways. That rim is completely and utterly destroyed. My guy. Okay, sir. Okay. Where uh do you know where you Where was it? Right up on the corner. And I I took the turn. Took the turn into here. Okay. There it looks like there's a plant on there. Was there a plant that might have been? Might have been. But that's where it was. So the remnants of the tire should be down. Should we down? You don't know. I have no idea. Okay. Can I ask you where you're coming from today? Springfield. All right. The golf tournament. Oh, no. No. We were just there. Playing golf. They're playing golf. Okay. Who are you waiting? I'm waiting for another another one of my supervisors. We can have two people here. Okay. All right. That way everything's everything's recorded, everything's inspected, everything's going to be nice and easy. Okay, sir. It couldn't have been easy for Lieutenant Mackey. The Blue Shield is an unwritten code of silence among officers that they will look out for each other and have each other's backs. But Lieutenant Mackey had high ethical standards. He believed in the powerful ideal that everyone should be treated equally before the law and that's a wonderful thing. Appreciate your understanding. You're a good man. I appreciate your understanding. Someone coming over from We're going to take a walk over where we're a little bit out of sight. Okay. No. How much you guys drink tonight? Couple beers. Couple beers. Yeah. Keep recording. We're not going over. Okay. I'd like to ask you to do field survival. Nope. Not going to not going to happen. I'm not driving. Feel soy for what? Well, you drove in. That was long time ago. It's weird to see high-ranking law enforcement agents on the other side of the law. Although Sheriff Coochi didn't resist, he still stubbornly refused to comply with several of Lieutenant Mackey's simple requests. You could tell his temper was on the verge of boiling over. All right, sir. Can you come over here? I want to talk to you a little bit more. All right. I'd like you I'm going to be very straightforward with you. All right. You came from East Columbus. You turned in here. We can't find the tire. That's fine. There's clear indications that that rim is pretty destroyed. Yeah. Okay. Um, you got here about 6:40 something 6:45. So maybe 25 25 minutes before you and I start interacting. Somewhere around a half hour. You've got clear indications of alcohol consumption%. All right. I can tell that you're you've had mid alcohol. You got your speech's a little bit slurred. All right. I can smell it coming off your breath. I can see the redness in your eyes. I'd ask you to I'm gonna ask you a second time if you will perform field soiety so I can determine if you are safe to drive. Okay. I have a PBT that can sort this out right now. Not going to happen. Okay. So, you're going to refuse field soiety. All right. You're not going to take the BBT. You're mid alcohol consumption. All right. A little bit driving. Okay. Okay. If that's what you're All right. Well, that assume then at that point. All right. Officer, can you take can you just sit with him for a minute? I'll take him to Mike Cruiser. Coochi was arrested, charged with OUI, and released. He reached an agreement with the court, which put him on probation for 1 year, after which charges would be dismissed. His driver's license was suspended for 1 year, and he was suspended from his job without pay for 3 days. Finally, he was ordered to attend an OUI education course. Being in a position of power can sometimes get into one's head, but as the corrupt cops from this episode have shown, abusing their power and inflated egos often lead to their own downfall. Thanks for watching.
