I'm go get my if I smash that girl she going knocked out hands on your back I don't give try to you were expec that check for almost $24,000 I wasn't not really roll over roll over come on roll over keep going keep coming there are a lot of things you shouldn't do at work and getting arrested is definitely at the top of the list it might happen if you decide to go to the office drunk steal from the company inventory or lash out at your colleagues because you had a rough day some of the people you'll meet today unfortunately did just that and they got themselves in all sorts of trouble keep watching to see which one of these unhinged employees got his hands and legs Tied by law enforcement and which one ended up in jail for a bunch of Christmas presents in May of 2022 police officers from Atlanta Georgia were dispatched to a local office building A Certain aggressive suspect who'd been previously fired for repeatedly coming to work drunk allegedly came back with a vengeance he supposedly knocked one of his former colleagu cell phone out of her hand and got into a fight with another employee hey man I need you to roll over you going get tast you need to roll over need roll over you going to get taste roll over roll over roll over roll over roll over roll over roll over roll over roll over hey roll over roll over I'm telling you to roll over one you done you going to roll over roll over roll over come on roll over come on keep coming keep going keep coming the camera goes dark for a while as officers struggle with the suspect but taser was even used to help restrain him in the following footage we can begin to hear the man's voice and it's clear that he's highly intoxicated even though he was placed on the ground he's still using his legs to try and kick everyone take them for weapons watch your legs don't you put your arm over watch your legs come on now let's do this the right way now got do let's do this I was trying to do it the right way the whole time man let's do this the right way now man no no no no not my leg really leg got legs really taking this guy out of the building was certainly not going to be a walk in the park either the suspect refused to walk and started threatening the police officers since the man had already lost his job he probably thought there wasn't much left to lose at this point no hey come on man hey come on put me down are you going to walk are you going to walk are you going to walk put me down give him a chance to walk put me now now you going to walk cuz I'm going to fight put me down where you going to walk fight i d put me down man come on here get your hands off me man come on everybody that have a man put your hand off me the trip to the police car had to be delayed a bit you see cops have to take all the safety precautions necessary to avoid hurting someone even if they're being hostile a small break might have helped calm Spirits down and finally get this man to cooperate I don't give it down by it's over all right it's not over let's go ahead and let's walk out man it's over it's over it's not over when I tell you this is not over man 38 man can I get up off of these CS now cuz if I got snap over y'all I'm going to give a man get me the off these C man make these CS off cuz if you don't all right let's get you back here what I say what's your don't worry about my name all right just calm down man when they eventually made it to the police car officers were faced with another obstacle physically getting this man into the vehicle it took three officers to lift him completely off the ground and place him in the back seat put put my yeah we going to get that get my I'm go get my [ __ ] put them in hand first go get him on the other side come on bro you you you got a screen back there yeah uh on hey be be be careful the struggle didn't stop there either they'd only placed him there temporarily as transporting this man with his head down facing the backseat cushion was not going to be an option there was no way he could properly breathe officers needed to at least roll him over with his hands tied you'd think there wasn't much the suspect could do to harm the cops but think again all right let's roll over right no no oh that's that hey man don't try to bite me man if you hit me if I hit you if you hit me I will bite you I'm looking for my wallet roll over get you God damn 303 I will kick both of y'all 303 uh watch the back window make sure here try to kick it in you may end up having to go to the hospital all let me go in here and speak to him figure out what's going on one of the officers went back into the building to talk to the suspect's former colleagues fighting might have been a first-time occurrence but the drinking certainly wasn't the staff that came to the office that day were mostly female but thankfully there was one male employee who was able to keep things together until the cops showed up he soon as he go up to him he soon as he come around the corner he swings on him boom so he's really he ain't even trying to fight him back he really just holding him down right right right right yeah yeah and then he was just trying to is he all right where is he at he had to get on the bus and leave but he's okay he the one who hurt cuz he had to you know hit him upside the head a couple of times but he was just he was just tripping like all all because he uh he works here and he would go to the liquor store he come to work drunk yes yes and he would go to the liquor store and his breaks and it just it just escalated from there he knocked her phone he just so I asked him to leave and he just punch my phone out my hand and I asked the guy the only guy here to come get him and he could tell him down okay he was acting and he was even saying that he was going to slap everybody in the office if he got up and I'm doing this I'mma do that you know the suspect seems to have dialed down on the aggression just a bit at least for the time being he was now ious as to what his charges might be even if he doesn't clearly admit to having done anything he couldn't care less anyway what's that they charges they charges yeah charges is let's see you got obstruction okay that's between y'all and then also also you probably got terrorist you threaten to kill them no I ainat that's what they saying I'm really fight but all right so and also for for fighting with the guy too that's Battery Man at my friend all right and then also when we were trying to man I don't give a trying to get additional cops were called in to help with the transport the intoxicated man wasn't going to calm down enough for the officers to drive safely he continually kicked the inside of the police car and even gave an ultimatum to one of the officers he was either going to open the door for the suspect to leave or else what's going on man I asked you to open theing door we ain't doing that right now okay if you don't do it I'm F to kick the rest of [ __ ] how if you kick it out if you going if you kick it out I'm going to put restraint on your legs so you won't a all I ask for you to open door all I'm ask you is to stay cool can you open the door cuz the the buit ain't working open the door then you C some cool man please doing right one two hey come on here man that's all I'm asked to just open the door one of the cops that was called in to help with the transport gave it one last shot at talking to the suspect maybe he thought he could get some sense into this man but there was no use you can see the officer slowly losing his patience and his threat to tie up the suspect's legs was actually serious I'm trying to talk to you what's your name open the door what's your name take my ID I don't I wasn't there man take out my ID lay down open the door lay down you don't open the door or what I'm going to keep this [ __ ] and when I rip you out put you on the ground I don't want that open the door man I Ain did nothing to you that's up I asked you to do something and you can't do that that's how that works homie hey P pull in on that side one simple question I got I got I just asked you to open door and I asked you a simping question what's your name open the door shut it come over here man I just ask door to be open door all right pull pull him through pull him through all right right there the suspect had to be taken to the hospital first to assess his condition by the time he got there he'd calmed down quite a bit he still wasn't compliant sure but at least he'd stopped with the cussing Kicking and Screaming as most people do when they're being arrested he also started complaining about his cuffs being too tight man I got you bro come on look look look look look look step up man look what's up I don't want no nothing on my face step out okay I'm not going to spit all right okay you got you all right I'm I'm going carry with me now don't spit okay hey let me put your lighter inside your bag all right that way you don't lose it okay is that cool with you man just loosen these CS hold let me take this real quick all right brother how do you take these off you just you want me you want me to pull it off or no slide the lighter off the lighter the lighter I never seen [ __ ] that's some Zone 3 which one which one the one that's Ty both of them okay he still displayed aggressive behavior towards the doctors after being examined the Grady Memorial Hospital staff said they found no reason to delay his trip to jail any longer however before the cops walked him towards the police car a spit mask was placed over his head he was eventually charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a police officer this next body cam footage allows us to meet an Oklahoma woman who supposedly worked at a local Walmart officers were called in to have a chat with her after it was reported she'd been aggressive towards a couple of her co-workers the troubled employee later identified as Adrien Edwards said she was only letting out her frustration after her supervisor got on her nerves okay just relax I don't have sure there's ask it's going to hurt us so that we can talk okay okay all right another okay I'm going to go check all right man' turn around talk so what's going on today nothing I was irritated what were you irritated about you can clear yes they RI me up for that be NY yesterday they did what CU I was being nauy yesterday she does admit to being naughty sure but it still doesn't explain why her colleagues were frightened enough to call in law enforcement the female officer goes on with the questioning eager to find out if this woman had indeed threatened other Walmart staff the suspect goes on to mention she'd been sick the day prior and that her supervisors didn't treat her accordingly so what's the reason that you think the police have been I don't know cuz I haven't done anything I I just said it for frustration cuz I'm irritated what did you say to him that I didn't say anything to anybody okay so they they're saying that you threatened I was sh no I wasn't threatened for for that at all what did you say that maybe they misunderstood about cuz they don't understand me one bit cuz they thought I was uh cuz I always I always yesterday and they wouldn't let me go home at all okay it's hard to be at work you don't the woman's words might not have been empty threats because she lingered on in the parking lot even after her shift was over if she'd had a bad night at work you'd expect her to want to get out of there as soon as possible on the contrary she stayed on the premises almost an hour longer were you supposed to work today I was working last night yes okay you like the graveyard be there just a minute what time were you supposed to get off 7 7 time is it 7:50 okay what made you decide to just stay in your car I was smoking a cigarette cuz I don't smoke and drive okay and I don't uh drive while I'm irritated it's probably best you don't want to drive angry right right another officer arrived in the Walmart parking lot and began questioning the suspect himself here's where adrien's speech stops making a lot of sense the cop has to literally Translate what she's saying so we could piece together why the woman lashed out on her colleagues the night prior all right so you kind of telling her thisr didn't say anything we sure we didn't say anything to anyone about how pissed off you were nothing like that I was yes I was pissed off but I wasn't saying out I was saying out of frustration saying what about what the gun and everything what did you say about popping off but I was trying to how I feel without me doing with the Y with the threat you so how I want to put this with me by yelling that's that's so I want go uh post on but okay by with me being frustrated so if I understand correctly you're saying if you you believe that if you vent out your frustration with keep you from actually doing the action right so the woman does admit to yelling and threatening the suspect goes on to mention a crucial piece of information that explains why her colleagues may have had problems trusting her the officer goes on to check if the woman had previously been involved in any other crimes in the past how long have you worked here since June of this year it was like the 8th of June one started okay have been in trouble before with TOS police or any other police department anything like that no speed how was about it I have no war for an arrest okay one of the officers had to speak to the Walmart staff that had been directly involved in the altercation they also mentioned to the Walmart managers that Adrien would indeed be taken to jail cops would also need to see the security camera from the store to confirm what the staff members were claiming uh we'll go back in the store okay to your security office we are going to charge her since you g we're going to take your jail okay so I need a witness statement from you who all heard was two that heard there when she said it okay I'll get witness statements from can they be in your office for long enough to do that okay let's all go back inside and I'll get those can I go tell my roomate what's happened yeah of course of course meanwhile Adrien confirmed having a gun in her car a loaded one no less sure she did work night shifts so she may have thought carrying a loaded gun around would be better for her safety but it also made her seem way more dangerous to her co-workers at the supermarket I had no drugs on the party all you going I have is that clock for safety that's about it okay just the one just that one okay and yes it was loaded just for that reason for what reason but safety CU I work night can I come outside understandable in the area that I work in soon enough the suspect had to be placed in handcuffs which she complied with after she was taken to the police car she began quite a therapeutic conversation with one of the officers the man did his best to explain the difference between venting out because of stress and threatening people enough to make them scared for their lives are you still confused on that like what no I was been frustrated I can't say why I need to say that they are frustration well when cops well listen listen you can to an extent but when you when you threaten listen listen it doesn't matter it's the same as if somebody goes in and like threatens a school or something CU I wasn't actually going to do it especially when you have the ability to carry out the a when you actually have a gun your car was I wasn't going to really do it okay doesn't matter we don't we can't operate that way we can't operate that way cuz if we leave you here and then you go in get I was do doesn't matter you're an adult I was leave you no it doesn't matter you're an adult the words you say matter words matter and when you threaten and when you threaten someone it is not an empty statement that just kind of goes statement well that's you the rest of the world does not work that way so as her colleagues were giving out their statements one of them mentioned he'd gotten a ride before with Adrien after one of their shifts together ended the young man recalled seeing two firearms in the suspect's glove box another Walmart employee was able to give officers a direct quote from what Adrien had said the night before I have to yell at him or I'll shoot him the biggest thing that you'll need to understand is when you go to pick up the firearm you will want to call the property room beforehand you can look online and get that number um because uh it's state law that anytime a firearm is turned in whether it's evidence or not in this case it is evidence um it will need to be test fired okay want to make sure has been cleaned in a little while it's fine uh it they'll they'll test fire it make sure everything's good make sure it's a safe gun and then they're going to do a background check on you to make sure that you're going to be able to have the gun same as you would if you would have gone to a gun store like I said it's let me finish I'm almost done and then after that it depends whether or not the people here at Walmart or whoever it was that's the victim in this wants to press charges if they want to press charges on you for threatening a violent act it will be the gun will be held until after all the court stuff is done okay okay like I said people don't understand me once to in bit I just did out frustration yeah even if the suspect would eventually gain possession of her firearm it would be a long process to go go through she insisted she'd done nothing wrong and her choice of words was just her way of letting out day-to-day frustrations the officer patiently explained what it might feel like to be on the receiving end of those words exess myself well you need to find another way to express yourself a problem I can't then you might need to go talk to somebody because the people that Express stuff like that have extreme usually anger issues that's what I have well and listen and those people as you put it off and do stuff like shoot people in a parking lot yeah I'm That Kind of well but listen but listen the jump it takes between getting upset and verbally saying I'm going to do damage with this firearm and actually doing that firearm is much closer than people who don't say anything and just leave or just yell nonsense and then leave when you make a very tangible threat and then you have the capability of doing that because you do have have a gun right I wasn't going to like do it though but who nobody can know that for sure except you right right so everyone else that is involved believes you can right my mother but I'm not going to really do it but your mother's not here once they made it to the station Adrien had one last complaint the handcuffs unfortunately as the officer will go on to mention there's no such thing as a comfortable arrest thankfully for the suspect at least she was cooperative and didn't gain any additional charges because of her behavior with the cops all right Miss Edwards can barely feel my fingers yeah we'll get that fixed here in just second make sure you didn't drop anything into your pocket nope I wish I made hand up so you can feel your fingers yeah maybe you have to come up with anything like that no there's just really not any way to restrain hands and it not be uncomfortable that's really secure ouch yep all right go to the seat right there for because of her big mouth stunt that day Adrianne Edwards faced one charge of threatening a violent act it's unclear whether she was fired from the store but it's also a likely outcome next time maybe she'll try some medication or breathing exercises when dealing with her anger issues at work in late September 2023 Florida officers arrived at a pawn shop to have a conversation with a woman regarding a potential fake check she was trying to cash in almost $24,000 the shop employees iMed immediately contacted the police upon the cop's arrival her explanation for the surprisingly large amount on that check was that they were lost wages what's this all about um I had received a check in the mail and it was supposed to be a payback out from my bet PID for what unemployment you were expecting a check for almost $24,000 I wasn't not really what were you expecting to check at all I knew I was to be r a check but I didn't think they were supposed to that much okay what car did you show up in it was why did they leave because we was running late picking up my kids from school all right so why didn't you go pick up your kids from school then because I had told them I was coming back about 5:00 well before dance okay most officers probably don't have a lot of experience telling a F check apart from a real one to help with the situation a cop who' previously dealt with financial crimes was called in he wanted to hear the woman's story once more the more questions he's asking the less detailed her answers seem to be though what what's going on we we're we're here you're here the checks here what give me tell me tell me what happened basically okay I received a check in a mail that was supposed to be for back P when did you receive it last week where at your house yes okay so I haven't messed that stay home honestly and I called my aunt and I was asking her like hey have I got any mail she like yeah you know you got a couple of so your aunt stays with you yes I stay while I stay with you stay I okay yeah all right so she was like that I had a few pieces of meal in and this and the third so I had went to go pick it up okay so after that that's went on I noticed that the check had came okay so I was like oh well you know Bo so last week when I picked it up I never end up catching it because of to my right schedule I always got off right late okay and so then after that that's when I had came in today because I was off and to cash a check and when I tried to use my photo ID on my phone they was like no I needed a ID if she was telling the truth then she could have at least remembered how she'd filed for unemployment benefits you see these are pretty standard procedures everyone has to file the same documents at the same office or email address and then they'd receive the same type of confirmation her story didn't seem to make a lot of sense in that regard either so that check was for what for unemployment okay have you ever gotten unemployment before no I applied once but like I never received anything never heard anything El bet so it was just like so this is the first time you've ever done unemployment filed for it or anything like that you've never received checks before for unemployment or anything this is the first one yes okay where's the envelope that that came in you have it it was supposed to been up front if they didn't move it okay um do you remember who it came from what was on the envelope it was like it was a blank envelope with the clear slip and it was a paper in front of it and then like when you unfold it it was like the check the rest of the well you know how like you rip off a check that's how it was okay let's give her the benefit of the doubt let's pretend like she really doesn't remember what the envelope looked like it's a pretty mundane detail you have to admit but still she'd have to remember the website she used to file the paperwork or at least if she'd received any sort of notification about a lump sum of $24,000 I mean it's the US Treasury Office she's talking about not the national lottery when you filed for an employment how'd you do it what site did you go to what did you receive did you get like an email after you slide did you receive anything I had basically received a letter saying that I had to submit some more um information in but that was only thing it once I had un submitted everything that was it did you submit the paperwork yes okay that I did it online like at the time I was doing everything online but how I had like knew to do like the unemployment stuff my friend was telling me about it MH so she did you ever receive an approval or a denial from them for unemployment I basically I really didn't too much to hear nothing else and then it was like I had started doing hair so it was like I wasn't really too focus on it see how she dodged the question about the date she filed for unemployment she may not remember the exact date sure but she could have made a rough estimation she continues trying to bypass important questions asked by the officers that is until she admits to having filed for unemployment 3 years prior here's what the officers had to say about that 202 almost 20124 and you receive a check for supposedly what you applied for 3 years prior and I'm going to tell you right now unemployment doesn't give lump checks okay um unemployment is a payment as if you were working okay and those checks don't come from the treasury okay no but I'm letting you know that I know that well that's what I'm saying like I don't know like I never receive unemployment I never got a check from treasury or anything so this is like my first time actually receiving something like this I I promise you I'm not lying to just just so you know for four years I did fraudulent investigations for the department and I saw stuff like this all the time and I and I'll tell you right now the reason we're asking this he saying we're gauging uh how truthful you're going to be I'll tell you right now this this is your chance to be honest because I know exactly what's going on the officers knew the truth and now there was no way she could hide it the check was fake and there was no going back from this point still the cops tried to give this suspect a helping hand hoping she could provide law enforcement with more information they wanted to find out if she was part of an organized group that did these types of crimes um I can call it exactly like I I've seen it every other time before somehow someone came in contact with you male probably the male that's sitting in your car out there in the passenger seat the black Chevy Malibu and that person convinced you that you need to go in here and you need to cash his check and then payment would be to receive a portion of that check while they get the other you being a single mom I don't know if you're getting paid a lot right now I'm not going to worry about that but you would get a portion of that money and they would get the rest and all you had to do was go in here show your ID and here you go and this is what you got to say and these people will buy it and I say that because I recently arrested someone not too long ago for the same similar type of thing here there was no way the cops could guarantee that she'd get out of this situation without handcuffs but she could still benefit from telling the truth she did go on to give a bit of information about the person who was waiting for her outside the pawn shop now about the check let's see if she decides to Spill The Bean so you can sit here and tell us all day long that this is what you believe it is or this is what you think it is or whatever story they concocted for you but ultimately you need to tell us who the person is out there how they contact you and everything else maybe we can help you out I'm not promising we can but well this is your chance to be honest because I'm telling you right now I already know you're lying I'm going to be completely honest with you the person that's in a car that's my little brothers he's a minor okay 17 he has nothing absolutely nothing to do with this okay that's what number want I'm I promise you I'm completely honest you okay number two the check that came in the mail basically my friend helped me apply car on sadly she kept going with her initial story regardless of how much the officers insisted that her recollection made no sense when it comes to official documents government entities always have a paper trail either physical documents or emails yet she still couldn't provide any proof that she'd filed for unemployment or when I can give you my friend information that help me do it thing but you can't you can't show us anything about anything that you applied for any website any email nothing that said you ever going to get money back which doesn't make sense you get back from the treasury anyway the big lump sum of $224,000 3 years later after you file for unemployment that makes there's going to be they not just going to send you a check without some sort of notification especially for that amount and with unemployment you get approved or you get denied I've done unemployment before back in the day you get approved you get denied but it's all notifications to your email in the mail you have documentation for everything because that's that's a government entity and they have to keep records of everything these cops decide to go along with her version of the story since she was adamant that it was a friend who'd helped her file the paperwork officers decided to give this person a call just to see if the suspect was at least telling the truth about this part or maybe they were trying to see if this so-called friend was another member of their fraudulent group Hey listen um got a question for you we're down here with the uh a young lady who gave me your number and your name did you ever assist her uh years ago or anything with uh trying to help her file for unemployment did she did she mention anything to you about have you have you received any checks or anything like from the US Treasury you don't remember where you went through to apply for those this phone conversation didn't help the suspect much either the person the officer managed to reach told them that she had indeed helped the woman file some online paperwork some years prior but she'd only done it for covid-19 benefits the lies were piling off so it was time for this woman to get arrested thankfully she was compliant um based off of what we have here okay you're under arrest can I call um who do you want to call get hand we'll call before get my car you have anything that's going to poke me S stick me nothing illegal oh here's the envelope oh oh look at that that says FIS output Solutions that's not from the US truck well what do you know if it wasn't the elusive envelope everyone was looking for for her unsuccessful attempt at cashing in over $20,000 the woman was charged with Grand Theft and uttering forged instruments it's funny how she ever believed you could easily get that much money up front accept at a bank but I guess she learned that lesson the hard way not all of today's theft stories involve entitled staff members this next one is about a former Walmart employee of the year who seemed to have gone Rogue on October 23rd 2023 officers were called in to check it out thinking they'd get to question the suspect by the time they'd arrived at the location though she'd already confessed her backstory however is what made the cops pay special attention the coach that did the interview um she finally admitted to everything that she has done she did admitted that she also has I guess previous um charges that you guys have done she also admitted that she's been homeless that her mom picked her out and that's the reason why she was stealing and she also admitted that she multiple time to try to Comm your so I just figure I'll let you know because this also might take her chose that despite the fact that the female employee had stolen from the store her manager seemed genuinely concerned about her wellbeing she wanted to make sure officers had as much information as possible about the suspect especially in terms of her mental health and language preferences the manager also goes on to mention that she'll act as a translator for the cops if needed so my job is to inform you guys about suicide kind now she's oh she's doing a written statement she's not so I just fig you she is about this situation so she's writing everything in Spanish yeah yeah so I just figured I'll let you know because I don't think she can write in English okay she speaks Spanish as well primar she speaks um English um broken but I think in this situation I think she felt more comfortable in Spanish just to confirm one of the officers went to discuss with another Walmart employee about the stolen merchandise there were also multiple pieces of video footage showcasing the female suspect taking various objects from the store the Walmart staff figured something was off once they started seeing more expensive items going missing so we were given some information said that uh um we were missing two watches and an iPad how did you receive that information for one of our teamates um I actually have this is all of yours so this is actually all the receipts videos of everything that we've got I make a mess of everything tried to be nice and organized for you and what else uh so it is sitting at a little over $2,000 at the moment for when you first received it you said it was two watches and it was these three items what is so iPad mini um Apple watch and apple Sport and that's what you started doing all the day mhm exactly perfect to expedite things the Walmart team had already prepared the video evidence before the cops arrived at the scene out of all the things the employee had taken from the store there's one item that doesn't quite fit in with her heartbreaking backstory alcohol one may understand if you're taking food for yourself or your family but alcohol isn't a necessary item God Mak my job so she stole wine too she did she got wine uh she's gotten Corona egg rolls right and she's here right now y she just got back from lunch um I was actually the two people that were going to do the admission real quick so I was going to let you actually look at this stuff okay I'm going to give this so they can get their admission and how do I look at this without if you want to click here just go right in you can jump on the computer like click right here it has the video yep all right awesome evidence Locker everything there all right Co thank you the suspect's strategy was sneaky but not sneaky enough she'd stage objects as if they were due for pickup and let them sit there in the designated area until the end of her shift at the end of the day all she had to do was simply pick up the items sadly for her all these calculated steps were caught on camera I can't can you understand something of this hand cuz just some of it I'm getting a little L okay I have a situation yeah that I'm good I am asking for forgiveness what does she mean by that walm oh her family the statement she scribbled was hard to decipher being written in Spanish for the most part though the suspect seemed to be asking for forgiveness and expressing remorse she spoke of her colleagues at Walmart as if they were family even though she also asked for help in her statement there was little that the officers or her managers at the store could do for her at this point all this is yours mine yeah okay all right all right we good [Music] small R I don't want to make it too tight it's okay I be over [Music] there anything else in your pockets no the suspect was compliant during her arrest and even diligently took everything out of her Pockets before she was placed in handcuffs however what she really wanted to avoid was to be escorted out of Walmart through the front door she was probably too ashamed to face the other staff members considering her impeccable track record one we the back please was that the [Music] there our cars are in the front so she was equally obedient even as they took her to the police car part of the procedure was to also take off the suspect's jewelry before she was taken into the police station she wanted to make sure her belongings were stored some place safe as they' now officially become her only source of income you got nothing hiding on no you're good no I'm saying like you're bra everywhere no no off that but nothing crazy that drugs no no all she had left was to sell her earrings and necklace for cash the suspect later identified as Santana was charged with felony Grand Theft shoplifting the list of items she'd taken home from work was pretty diverse ranging from two men's shampoo bottles and two bottles of wine to a couple of Apple watches and two iPads the merchandise ended up costing the store a loss of over $2,000 a couple days after Christmas in 2022 officers from the Sunrise Police Department were dis attached to a store in Burlington New Jersey what they were about to investigate included fake returns unauthorized gift cards and some pretty lame excuses once they arrived at the location they were filled in by a manager what tipped you guys off to this um corporate okay corporate from the corporate system all right uh apologize but um how to call sunr stand up for me please find your back okay do you have anything on you that I need to know about that's going to stick me poke me or hurt me no no okay do you understand what's going on today yeah okay you might face that for a second the woman's system was so good that it didn't even alert any of her local managers it was only when their corporate Department reported seeing some fishy transactions at the store that they decided to do an internal investigation the suspect was detained and then officers tried to find out what her plan was you're detained at this point for Grand Theft okay based on what Elvis the lp has told me I'm going to read you your rights I'm going to get all your info ask you some questions and we go from there okay all right would you like to talk to me about what happened yeah if I return some of the cars will any of the money get taken out unfortunately no because it's already lost from my inventory um so we'll have no choice for Char for the whole amount that was lost during the return process so what happened how long have you been employed here for almost a month okay and what happened so I we can do like returns for stuff and then get credits from the store but I didn't realize like it was actual money I just thought it was Burlington credits like it wouldn't cause any loss or anything and I was just trying to get my some get bu okay but I didn't know it was actual money at this point in the investigation the officer seems eager to give her the benefit of the doubt the woman might have known that she was doing something wrong but maybe she didn't imagine it was an outright felony the cops wanted to find out just how many times she'd done such transactions before she was called how many times did you do this uh transaction return to get credits if you had to guess I've done it a couple of times but I haven't you I only bought stuff once after they told after I asked after I bought that stuff for Christmas I asked them and I was like what the person who was checking me out he was like oh you can't do that like that's actual money like he told me that I couldn't do it and I I haven't bought nothing else and I still have the gift cards haven't used them after that she mentioned generating five or six gift cards in total ranging from as little as 14 to over $200 at Christmas alone she'd spent almost $500 from those gift cards allegedly to buy presents for her family the next step in the investigation was to find out if she was the only employee doing these types of activities or if this was a team effort and when did this start when did you start doing this return stuff like I don't know like two weeks ago when I learned how to when someone who taught you one of the managers taught me how to do the returns were they teaching you because they do it as well yeah everybody does it they were teaching me how to do it like cuz I'm supposed to know how to do that okay so were do you think they were doing it for the same reasons like no you have you can have you give the customers a choice to either get brother credits or their money back from what they paid for the so at least she seemed to be the only one working at the store who was running around buying stuff with unauthorized gift cards what was also important for the officer to know was why she didn't report this alleged mistake to her managers once she'd figured out she'd done something illegal it might have saved her a trip to the station um prior to today and just be honest with thing you had these gift cards at home yes when you learned that it was um theft or or fraud whatever it is why didn't you bring it back or alert a manager like hey I've been making a mistake I honest didn't want I just wasn't going to do it again I didn't think anybody would notice okay were you on shift today yeah did you do any of that today yeah okay what about yesterday no I wasn't you weren't here yesterday okay the cops confirm with the store manager that they indeed want to prosecute the store manager goes on to detail how the woman managed to get all those gift cards without anyone in the store noticing sneaky and illegal sure but creative nonetheless so um have you seen the actual CCTV I did I saw a couple of transaction and see cuz it's about 10 of them but I saw a couple where she actually does she does a g reip that's how she does it so she doesn't keep the actual customer receip right before she getes the receipt she doesn't different receipt so that way she can so does that def the customer or the business that defs the business the business inventory I got chance to does the customer also get that money back uh the customer does not but the only the way it would actually def follow the customer is that they can't return it again the yeah once you do a return if you do a return you can't use that same receipt to do another return God she would reprint receipts from previous store customers and in the system she made it look like the person had asked for a return since customers could choose between store credit or their money back she'd create these gift cards to use for herself this was damaging for both the store which obviously lost money and the customer who would no longer be able to return the merchandise if they wanted to all right here's the deal okay because the dollar amount it's a felony okay we just basically have to process your paperwork take you down to the jail they process it and then they kick you out okay do you have any questions for me um what I would suggest is any gift cards you do have once you get out any gift card you do have I would say bring back because it will show maybe the state attorney who's going to prosecute the case that you're trying to give back the stuff I know listen has his handset he's an LP he's got to follow what corporate says but I'm talking about the court side of it it may help you just to give Burlington their stuff back okay the woman was then taken to the station where she was charged with Grand Theft for stealing just under $5,000 if that doesn't sound impressive just know that she did it within the span of 7 days which was precisely the amount of time it took for the financial department to figure out her sneaky scheme more so she was trespassed from the entire mall where the store was located for a whole year if you've already been caught drunk at work the last place you want to show up intoxicated is at the courthouse the same Courthouse where you've been summoned for showing up Tipsy at your shift in the first place unfortunately that's just what this next Oklahoma teacher did the courthouse officer explained to the woman why she's being apprehended as she seemed a bit confused cuz you showed up to a a public Courthouse intoxicated okay that's rep public intoxication that is uh charging in your statutes okay so have you had anything to drink today have you had stuff to drink today yes no I'm sorry what have you had anything to drink today I had class of wi this morning yes this morning yes bye like an hour ago this morning no this morning nice of her to admit that she' truly had something to drink earlier that day though she'd probably had more than a glass of wine officers went on to explain the details that gave her away either she really didn't understand or she was trying to play the fool the odor glass eyes slch speach Swang I can go home with my husband he's gonna take me home no you're You're Gonna Come With Me Now You're GNA be rest public intoxication I don't understand you're in public you're intoxicated you're going to go to jail is what he's telling I but I haven't done anything I don't I don't I don't understand you're intoxicated at this point ma'am you you are drunk and you have you have slurred speech okay you are very unsteady on your feet okay I can smell the order of alcohol on your breath as you're talking to me I can smell it okay we notice it at the front door when you came in well my husband's I can I can go home these cops couldn't let her go even if they wanted to their interaction had already been recorded and remember this wasn't the suspect's first offense when it came to public intoxication she kept saying she didn't understand why she was being arrested for what it's worth that might have been true if she was drunk enough she might have had problems understanding what the people around her were saying come on you being recorded again sorry gentlemen I I don't understand I don't understand I'm I'm so sorry you have anything else on your person like for your husband to take like a cell phone keys or anything I don't understand I I'm sorry could could you just tell me what's going on okay you're being under arrest for public intoxication okay unfortunately her husband couldn't come pick her up either maybe she thought the officers would just let this offense go given she was cooperative but the truth was this woman probably needed a reality check she'd already gone to work drunk at a school no less so it seemed like she wasn't remorseful at all I was just wondering if my husband cannot put phone in put in there have a seat in those very chairs right there okay there's nothing else on your person no earrings or anything get paper from you after she was cuffed she was taken straight to a jail cell which was just a couple of floors away if anything at least she didn't have to go through all this in public and she also skipped a pretty uncomfortable police car ride which most suspects have to experience after they've been arrested so we're going to go ahead and go through this door right here okay in between those two doors right there and your left just stand right there for him so that's that's why we're going to jail today you got to like what I explain okay first door on your left okay go step through okay first door on your right keep going back go and step in there and have a seat on the bench to your right good ultimately this Tipsy teacher earned herself another charge of public intoxication she was released on a $2,000 Bond after she was placed in the custody of her husband the suspect later identified as Kimberly coats also accepted being admitted to an impatient facility to address her ongoing drinking problem our next suspect is from Ohio and is a former daycare worker a couple of officers arrive at the location with a warrant for their arrest this person has been accused of previously assaulting children on the job with video footage to prove it local law enforcement decided it was time to take them in hi Michaela how are you I'm officer Bailey all right you mind stepping outside for a sec you go ahead and turn around for me keep turn turn around for me thank you put your hands on your back okay let's go down over here okay I'll chat real quick uh Annie can you grab my shoes shoes right now can we getes sure we're just going to hang out down there real quick we'll walk down yeah we'll I'll explain everything to you okay you just want to walk real quick do do we have slides or slipper hey dudes are downstairs dud after they were placed under arrest officers went on to detail some procedural steps they also wanted to find out if the suspect had any clue as to why they were being taken into custody I have to admit this person was especially calm and collected given they were being taken from their house and handcuffed at night time no less um so it looks like you got a warrant okay it's going to be for child endangering did you think something like this was coming down the pipeline somebody kind of I've talked to a detective fig quiet yeah hav heard anything in a couple months sure do you have anything on you that's going to poke or stick me any weapons anything like that okay can I leave my glasses here though absolutely sure sure um so we are going to have to place you under arrest okay we'll take you to Green County um is there anything only question I have is is Britney IR at saided Green County if so I have no idea okay that's my sister she was arrested from here and she's not allowed back at the house okay so they kind of knew it was coming still like any curious suspect would Michaela wanted to know what her immediate future would hold they also went on to confess to the officer that they didn't have any problems with the law before this particular incident do you have any idea how long I be here this is legitimately my first time being in being in any trouble ofou okay sure so right now grab okay I'll be right back and I'll kind of go over some stuff with you okay what's next is probably the most delicate discussion between these two cops and the family the suspect's parents wanted to check in with the officers to understand what might happen with their child they were worried about what section of the jail their kid might end up in even if their preferred name was Grayson they still had documents under their former one Michaela so did he kind of go over with you what was happening yeah so she is it's called warrant um so pretty much what happened was the detective gathered enough evidence brought it to FL a grand jury um and give convince them that they wanted to hear the case so right now it's still in the probable cause phase right which is we take her we take her to jail there's a warrant out for her we take her to jail she's proba going to see a judge um for Bond or whatever on Monday okay right now over yeah she doesn't have a bond right now so there's no bond right now um until she can see a judge but on Monday she going to go in the women's section or the men's section probably in the women's section um just because I mean I don't I don't know what the Jail's policy is okay that's not fairborne what we determine um but I think if I'm not mistaken and I'm and I'm not 100% sure on it if I'm not mistaken if legally like her legal sex is still female his legal sex is still female then yeah um so unfortunately like she would not be or he would not be allowed to be male sex apart from the gender identification issue the parents also wanted to make sure that their child would have access to their prescribed medication while in custody what's even more complicated for the family is the fact that this wasn't the first time talking with cops on behalf of one of their kids they have access to the pharmacy board the jail I don't think so well they pulled well we got notified our our young our autistic daughter B that y guys just have come down here she's been there for a while she's on she's on the third oh okay um yeah I remember Britney here she's on the third she's been she's been a court a couple times declar her incompetent and they won't give us custody because she's well guardi guardianship because of the attacks sister is taking her sister is going to take it gotcha Michaela got into the police car with no fuss whatsoever on the contrary they were even allowed to sit in the front seed given they'd been so compliant up until this point all the officers had left to do was to make sure the suspect's belongings were either stored safely or left at home we'll get in on this side is there any way I can have this switch to the front um if possible if not it's yeah we can do that that's fine I don't mind that at all you've been fine with us um do I need to leave this here if you want to take it off we can leave it here but the Jail's going to take it and put it in your property if you don't you'll have it when you get out of the jail nobody's going to steal it from you okay H problem cuz that thing was 80 bucks yeah all right go ahead and take a seat Michaela Grayson Curry was eventually charged with assault and child endangering this was based on an allegation that they were caught on video hitting toddlers on the head and pushing them to the ground regardless of how obedient they were with with the cops these were serious allegations that should never be ignored some physical abuse seems to have happened between a male customer and a female USPS employee back in 2013 as such officers were dispatched to the location to investigate at first they discussed this with the USPS staff but they also went on to talk with the unsatisfied customer who appeared to have started all this hey what's going on man what happened in the post office yeah I show you I show you I don't want to lie look that's her she came out from there you hear her he hit me look at my face so that she came after you yeah yeah I'm going to Sho then why would she come after you we look look why would she do that because we we T complaining about some package some delivery package so you have package delivered to there a package send we got a company we send package every day okay like uh dresses and everything who's your company uh let's stand in front of my car that way we don't get hit so you had a package from your company no it's not it's not me it's the other girl it's not me I just tried to aoid it's not me so you saying the female and her got into it yeah she want to hit the female I get in the middle H she left do you know her so yeah I didn't know her the altercation must have been pretty bad if the man was willing to Sue and go to all that trouble from what we can tell so far it all had to do with a package it's also clear that another person was involved too a female who simply vanished after the fight was over you trying to break it up yeah trying to break it up you want to get back to the I'm try to a minute you can do it on person because like I tell I'm living but I come back with my lawyer with a su because this is unprofessional so look at my face too so I start talking with the lady I think she's new because I never see her before so hey my package is delivering here then back to Atlanta they send it back from Miami so we always send packet I got like three packet loses and she said I got no information for you that's what the clerk said yeah that that girl that girl I said but I need some information about the package because like we expected the package delivery yeah we have to pay the package again no that's not by business like that's what the clerk said yeah that's that the the how you call color yeah post office that yeah the the the post office girls say and I said so I need some information and he said you guys say right there I don't want to talk to you because like you ask me things that I can say you I said okay fine looking for our manager so not talk to you anymore since the customer had little to no success finding out where his package was by talking to the clerk he obviously wanted to talk to one of the managers if what he was saying was true he'd already lost three company packages so it's understandable why he was a bit upset what's weird is that the clerk refused to offer any information and let's be honest that's her job please bring me a manone here bring me a man here because like I'm waiting right here she came back bring the bell and say stay at the door I go to the blue door at the side and I start for a for a lady a blond girl lady came out open the half door and she start getting UNC up with the package and everything tracking number and all that and she came back from the from the counter to that door to say hey you don't pay attention to this mother because they and she slam the door on my face that's the video you showed she coming out that's before that's before she slam the door of my face and this lady this lady right here we holding the door you see that the lady I was talking you see the che right my Che came out again you can look if the USPS employee really started cussing at these people that's pretty bad customer service if you ask me not only that but she also slammed a door on their face which this man claims to have video footage of it's interesting to see though how officers seem a bit reserved when it comes to watching the man's video just because it was caught on camera it didn't necessarily prove a point just yet you see so she came out to hit my my my girl so where's your girl at so she left I said left because I don't want to you she leave on foot or in a vehicle or what on a vehicle okay so what I've so you went there to get the package they didn't have the package they wouldn't give you the information you needed for the package so after that I I start talking with the BL lady that you see right there and then she start helping us problem solve so she came back from the counter to tell her like hey these [ __ ] don't pay attention on that and I slam the door on my face I get back and I try to get the video and she opened the door I said hey do you don't call us motherucker we are your a CLI and that's not your job you get unprofessional who called you that who called you that Dr okay so even though this man had his problem solved and he did eventually find out the information he needed about his packages he's still adamant that he wants to sue simply because of bad customer service which escalated into a full-on physical altercation that postal clerk must have gotten on his nerves pretty bad do you have an idea on you no no no man I lost my I get my wallet with my girl you can get my uh social security number and all that why didn't if your girl left in a in a car Why didn't you go with her H because I tried to avoid them to come back OS again and I talk with this guy right here he can talk to you I take a picture of his ID Christopher maybe the the maner and I say go away I'm going to handle it and say I come back tomorrow to talk to you if you are the manager because I need this with my lawyers I going to suit then the officer told the USPS customer that they'd already talked to the shipping company staff and the information is conflicting to say the least the postal clerk previously told the cops that she had been the one spoken to disrespectfully and then attacked by the couple well here's what I got to figure out I got conflicting stories okay I spoke with a manager up there before I came down here and he was saying that you and your girlfriend we coming across the counter towards them so I got two different stories they're going to show me the video or you can ask them to show the video and I can come to you and we outside so I'm not liying so I got to go talk to them and figure out what's what's yeah but I went for that report too that report going to be police I go and get him because like uh that's un respect all of this it's if I SM that girl she got knocked out in the discussion with USPS staff things were a bit less heated the employee who'd been involved in the fight had already calmed down and was in a better mood to talk to the officers she also had a manager next to her coaching her to use her words wisely so cops could get a better understanding of their side of the story you want to step over here so what happened I was trying to tell the customers that their package wasn't here so I tried to tell the customers that their package wasn't here so then they got up and started getting loud and disrespectful and I said you're being disrespectful I can't help you so I let them calm down and I started getting the other customers then they started yelling get us a manager get us a manager and I was like I can't do this like y'all are being really rude so I rang the bell three times they went to go talk to the manager so then the guy is talking to my other supervisor at the door and I was like tell them to not talk to me like that so then the dude started yelling bch so I went outside and I was like who are you calling a b you don't you don't have to be disrespectful he got in my face put his camera in my face so I took his phone and put it and threw it on the ground well it's already strike one for the USPS employee if you ask me regardless if you're cussed at or if you're spoken down to by a customer you should never under any circumstances touch their belongings which includes not throwing someone's phone on the ground even if they're filming you however the employee admitted that she'd lost her temper at some point during her interaction with the couple think he pushed me for then all I remember I just saw black and I hit him back then his girlfriend she jumped on me and I flipped them but when I flipped I ended up on the ground she was on top of me and he was pulling my hair he was hitting me and she was hitting me so they were both jumping me at the time and that's it okay you mind fill out a statement for him absolutely do you have your ID on you got some custom do you have your actual driver's license officers talked to the company manager as well she surely wanted to protect her colleague from any legal consequences but she agreed the girl was in the wrong at least partially not about throwing the phone though but about something way simpler are you manager yeah I came everybody was on the floor everybody's on the ground and I just tried to pull up a car I I heard one thing that was wrong what was she should have came out the door leave behind the door that was first question yeah she should have came out of the door came did she did you describe I wasn't out here I got you yeah she was talking to they were talking to the other supervisor which is 10 she's on the end so all I heard was screaming they fighting cops then confronted the employee with the information they' gathered from the customer the video footage clearly shows the USPS girl attacking so there was no way she could deny it it did help though that she was at least compliant with these two officers as they went on with their investigation so I went and spoke with him and he has video footage but he told me what happened he came in here he got upset about the package not being here he asked for a manager he said he was called a bunch of names by you uh he show the video you coming out the door attacking him is that when you hit him is that when you said you blacked out no cuz he put his hands on me first cuz he had his phone in my hand he has phone in my face so I took his phone and threw it then he pushed me and that's when I attacked him I never put it his phone was in your face and you took it and I push yes sir and then the female she came and she pushed me and when I grabbed her we flipped and she started hitting me and then the dude started punching me in my side and they were both tat tinging me okay now he's not wanting the personal char are you want to press char No I just don't want them to come back up here by now it was all a big he said she said situation so there was no use in going back and forth anymore for law enforcement all three of these people had done something wrong that day and they were all going to face the consequences the cops went on to explain to the USPS employee what she should do in case such a situation comes up again in the future she's Jane do right now yes sir um so as far as finding out who she is we're going to say that over to investigation see if they can contact her Edy who she is um I have his address so I'm going to go out there and surf him with a trespass notice saying he can't come back here yes sir if he does come back he'll go to jail yes sir okay but just be very detailed in there if I can't get him trespass today he said he might come back tomorrow I'll be here if he does just call us immediately don't let him know you're calling but just call us and um just a word to the wives if it does happen again a situation like this don't come out door just say the fact that they couldn't calm down enough to have a decent conversation about some lost packages meant charges for both sides the USPS employee was charged with simple battery while the customer was charged with criminal trespass remember folks someone filming with their phone isn't illegal you throwing their phone to the ground is and there you have it the creative ways you can get arrested at work Jokes Aside some of these people put themselves and the people they work with in danger so so they were rightfully taken into custody as for the petty thefts and the scams these employees might have thought that since they were stealing from large companies it wouldn't be such a big deal but hey a thief is a thief no matter who they take stuff from and with that we'll see you next time
