Leave the property back. Leave the property. >> He's not He's not leaving. He's walking towards the property. >> Ma'am, back up. >> I just need to know if you're Excuse you. Excuse you. Excuse you. >> Absolutely not. >> Excuse you. Oh my god. >> You don't know where you're at. You're >> I do know where the I'm at. stupid. >> If you've never encountered a Karen in the wild, consider yourself lucky. Karens are the opposite of your average polite stranger. They have behavior patterns that are rude and off-putting. They are also the arch nemesis of law enforcement officers. And in every encounter, cops give entitled Karens a lesson they won't forget. >> Excuse me, sir. For what? I don't understand. >> No, sir. >> No, sir. >> On the afternoon of April 23rd, 2023, officers were dispatched to a Shell gas station parking lot. When they arrived, they were met with a middle-aged woman claiming to have been part of an alleged hit-and-run accident. However, the officers did not notice any damage to her vehicle. >> Hey, >> so explain to me what happened. Who did I talk to on the phone? >> You talked to him on the phone, but I'm the one who's working the wreck. I'm the one that was out here with the other party. >> So, I met Kroger and I wanted to go straight across and there was a whole big >> gap about four or five cars worth. >> Yeah. >> And she came up and still had a gap between her and the other car, but it wasn't enough for me to go across. >> Okay. >> And so when I wave, she looked over at me. Car's this way and I'm over here. Okay. >> Trying to go across. There's room. There's still like four or five cars back where she could have had plenty of time to back up. >> The light was just red. >> So, there's all this. >> So, you were expecting her to back up. >> I expect her to stop. First of all, when you already see a car there trying to go across, >> which most humans commonly would do? >> Yeah. >> Common sense and kindness would do. >> But it's not our requirement. Yeah. But Yeah. >> Well, I don't I don't It's my requirement. That's what I do. >> Gotcha. So what happened? >> So So she looked at me and moved up and shot me a bird when I said, "I was trying to go across." >> Yeah. >> The woman continued to explain to the officers that the woman in the other vehicle, which had stopped in front of the exit of the store she was trying to leave from, refused to give her the right of way. In America, there's no law that requires drivers on the road to yield to those exiting an establishment. It is common courtesy, but is by no means required. And then she took time. I said, then I beat and said, "Can you move back?" Because the car behind her that had just came up, just come up at that time still left plenty of room. Obviously, seeing that he would have let he whoever's in that car would have let somebody go across. >> Okay. >> To the other lane. >> Yeah. >> Cuz I was going to turn left or I could have gone right, wherever. >> Okay. Anyway, she shot me a bird and then just deliberately got out a cigarette lit, but it looked at me and just would not move at all. >> Okay. >> So then when the light turned, I got over there and I'm like, well, I then I can go in this lane and so I was going to go in this lane and come in here for some gas if I whatever. I'm running errands today, okay? I've been sick for a week and I >> Anyway, so then I felt a bubble. I didn't know if it was, you know, an animal or walks or whatever. And I'm like, and then I didn't think about it. So, I just got left. Like, I'm just going to go away from her. She's rude. Okay. >> So, I didn't want to go even near her. I don't know where she went. >> Apparently, she came here. I don't know that. >> So, then I went left and I got out and I'm like, well, I checked my car because I'm thinking, well, I felt a bump, but I didn't hit her. >> So, I'm looking damage on my car, so that's it. >> Okay. >> Even though she felt a bump while driving, the woman told the officers that there was no visible damage to her car, which the officer confirmed. The officer explained that there had been damage to the other driver's vehicle, but the woman just continued to rant about the incident. >> So, she deliberately pulled out a cigarette, lit a cigarette, shot me a bird, and I mean, that's just like, why would you not let somebody cross and you I just don't understand people like that. >> Is there any damage on her car? I haven't asked anything. >> What's that? >> Is there any damage on her car? There is. >> Where'd she go? What? Okay, so >> I've already got her statement and our guard already got photos and everything. >> The officer placed a call to one of his higherups. He explained both sides of the situation. Each woman claimed that the other gave her the middle finger. He also mentioned the fact that neither party wanted to take responsibility for the accident, even though there was more damage on one car than the other. >> How are you? >> Oh, just just hit over here. So yeah, she came back. Yeah, I'm I'm on the fence about uh 82 and her. I was thinking about doing it. I just wanted to run it by you first. Um she uh was coming out of uh Kroger as this other lady was going north on Bethl View. So supposedly the one that was going north on Bethl View stopped in front of the the entrance to that Kroger there. So that that's just where she stopped. traffic backed up. So, this lady couldn't get out and she, you know, they're both alleging that the other one gave them the bird. And anyway, whenever they went green and the one that was going north started moving, the one uh coming out of Kroger pulled out and and bumped her on the just the uh the rear passenger side as she was going by. and uh and then this lady came on out and then then took off went on toward uh toward downtown coming. >> The officer ended his phone call seemingly on the same page as his supervisor in terms of what to do going forward with the case. As he approached the other officer and the woman who could already be considered the suspect, he knew that she was most likely at fault. But uh back to this uh based on what all the totality of everything the way you're kind of elusive you you kind of let slip that that you knew that you were involved in something over here. >> I said I don't know it was the animal or what to me it wasn't >> ra incident and and a bump. So I mean based on that it's you I need you to turn around place. >> Excuse me sir for what? >> I don't understand. >> Well that's no sir. No sir hit. I need to hit Oh my god. You're kidding me. And now what? You've got to be kidding me. >> [ __ ] Wooden. >> What do you mean hit and run? I came back to you and >> No, you you left the scene and if we hadn't gotten a tag number to get a hold of you, you'd be gone. That's That's what it is. That's what it comes back to. >> No. What are you telling me? >> I need my purse. I need my >> You have anything on you? Any weapons? >> I would never have I just have to to check. >> No, I have no pockets. Nothing. Okay. That's that's >> Are you telling me I have to leave my my keys? And where where are my keys? You're telling me my cars? >> They're dangling on you right here. So that's that's what Are you going to let me That's all you got, right? >> Sir, are you going to let me call somebody? This is crazy. >> From the jail. Yes. >> Obviously, the woman was upset about her arrest, convinced she had done nothing wrong. However, her attempt to play off the accident as a little bump to her car had backfired on her. Her entitlement issues and Karenlike nature also made it harder to believe her as she feigned innocence. >> So this is this is all you have? >> I don't have anything. >> Okay, I'm just making sure. >> Are you not going to let me lock my car? My purse. >> I'll take care of the car. >> No, I don't want you in my car. I want my >> I need you to come this way. >> I want my purse. >> Okay. >> Am I Wait, am I nodding? >> Do you have a family member that can come get in the car? >> Yes, but No, not without the key. I mean, I'll have to Do you have someone that could come and >> Can we stop by my house? >> Can we stop by my house? Can you lock the car? >> I'll take care of this. Do you have I'm asking you. >> Do you have someone that can come get it in a reasonable amount of time and pick it up? >> Yes, if you give me the key. >> Yeah, I'm not going to give you the key, but I'll give the other person. >> Can we stop by my house? It's on the way. >> It's on the way. >> You were just there, sir. >> And give them the key. That'd be a lot quicker. and tell him to come get me because I can I can What's the time? Now you're going to keep me. >> There was no one at your house though when I stopped. >> There was nobody there earlier. >> My brother's doing stay work on the deck. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. We're fixing the house. >> All right. >> Okay. She's >> I'm just going to reach across you and plug this in. Okay. You'll just lean back. >> Thank you. >> The Karen was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. It's unclear what her sentencing or bond was. On June 2nd, 2025, officers in Washington State were dispatched to a McDonald's restaurant. A woman named Nicole called in to report that the McDonald's employees were refusing to hand her the food she paid for in the drive-through line. The officer called her back for more information before arriving at the establishment. >> Hi, this is uh Sergeant Pennington with the Arlington Police Department on a recorded line. May I speak to Nicole, please? This is Nicole. >> How can I help you, Nicole? >> Um, I went to McDonald's and I tried to order food and then they didn't give me my food. They said I was being rude. And I'm like, well, you know what? Like, you're kind of being rude for not giving me my food. And I paid for it. And then I said, "What? Are you illegal or something?" Like, you know, I did say that. And then they're like, "Oh." Oh, then everyone runs up, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, but can I have my food? They're like, no, you can't have your food. We're calling the police. And I'm like, why don't I call the police first? >> And half of them are probably not even legal, honestly. Like, so go check their IDs and like that's what I would recommend. >> We're not allowed to do that in our state. >> That's like That's why everyone needs guns. Like people up. I'm so sick of it. I got I got in a huge car accident from a illegal Mexican who didn't have car insurance and his interpreter said, "Oh, I went to Mexico." Like, so good lord. >> Yeah, >> I'm so sick of this. Take all I want is some to McDonald's. >> Over the phone, Nicole brought up several complaints she had with McDonald's. aside from the food she didn't receive. The officer advised her that she should have talked to the management of the McDonald's instead of law enforcement. But her retort was that the manager was probably illegal. The officer ended the call thinking it was the end of the story. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> You Nicole? >> Yes. I was trying to get my food and they wouldn't give it to me. >> Yeah. I'm the officer you were speaking to on the phone. >> Yeah. I thought we >> I I thought I made my point clear that it wasn't going to happen. The fact that you were getting your food today. >> Oh, and I didn't know that that was the actual case. >> I thought maybe they wouldn't or maybe they were, you know, I can go to Burger King, but I was just kind of offended because I just >> Well, your language is offending the them as well. I I hope you understand that. >> Okay. Well, I'll try to be nicer, but they weren't any mean. So, I'm not I used to mentor kids in Compton, Watts, East LA. Like, I'm not a mean person. >> I'm not racist. But I don't like when people are rude to me, >> right? >> And so, like I kind of got offended. Um, and so I probably said things that like maybe I shouldn't have, but I'm also sick of illegals. I got in a huge car accident from an illegal Mexican who shattered my window, almost killed me. got had no car insurance, >> only got a ticket. >> I freaking >> got assaulted by a Cuban. I'm just like sick of these people. >> The officer spent another few minutes speaking with her. She reiterated multiple times that she wasn't racist, but she thought most of the employees at the McDonald's were not US citizens. The officer then decided to speak with the manager of the McDonald's. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. What do we got? Um, I was told that she came in, started telling them she was going to get everyone deported, that she had AK-47 and guns on her, >> something along those lines. Okay. >> I don't know though. That's what multiple people were saying. Okay. >> I just walked in the door. >> Did she pay for her meal? >> I don't know. >> I couldn't find that out. So, >> she said she she placed an order and then uh she went I guess maybe a te one of the cashiers said that she was rude and then she became rude and started throwing out stuff about uh racial things against Hispanics. I think that's kind of what set >> Where did the gun come in? I don't know. Did she say anything about that? >> Uh she's like said all kinds of different things. After speaking with the manager, the officer returned to Nicole and the other officer. At that point, it seemed like Nicole was the one who instigated the conflict, but there wasn't much the officers could do for either party. However, the officers noticed something they should have guessed sooner. She had been driving drunk. >> No to the fields. No wanting to do the PBT. >> I'd rather just like park and walk out. >> So, here's where we're at. We were kind of investigation has kind of switched into whether or not um you're impaired or you're in physical control. Being in physical control is being in the vehicle with the ability to drive with it. I mean, it was on um and being >> You mentioned something to me on the phone about alcohol, about being home if you were drinking or something like that. What was that about? >> I wasn't going to drink till I get home. I bought alcohol here and then I got food and then I'm like I'm not going to drink till I get home. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> But we're smelling alcohol now. So, was that before you drove? >> I had two glasses. I mean, do you want to give me do I go for it? But all I want to do is get food and go home. >> Okay. >> Um I'm not I'll park my car right there, go home. I have no record. um these people are like illegals and they should be arrested. >> The officer tried to make it clear that they weren't concerned with the legal status of the McDonald's employees. The officer shifted the conversation back to the fact that Nicole was showing signs of impairment. Then the latter revealed that she had mixed her medication with [music] the alcohol. >> And you had medication mixed with a couple of drinks. >> I am on medication. >> Okay. What kind what kind is it? Anything that says on the bottle that you shouldn't be drinking with it like any kind of I know of pain medications anti >> I don't do I it's depression and anxiety but it's not I don't do I >> Nicole can you take your hands out of your pockets while we're Thanks. >> Okay. Do you know what the name of it is? >> Whatever you guys need me do. >> I asked you to just keep your hands out of your pocket. >> Sorry. It's just a safety thing for us. >> Oh, it's just in case. >> Okay. I think given what we have here, Nicole, I think I'm going to have you step step up here to the car and put your hands on the car for me and we are going to arrest you for physical control of a motor vehicle. There's just enough signs here, Nicole, that we just can't we can't look the other way on this. >> The officer spoke with the manager once again after securing Nicole into the squad car. The officer requested security camera footage in the drive-thru. Before the manager retrieved the footage, he introduced the officer to one of his employees, Ray, who dealt with Nicole in the drive-through line. >> This is Ray. He is >> Hey, Ray. >> Were you dealing with that gal? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And what was her story? Can you tell me what you know about it? >> Well, what happened is she came here in the in the front counter to take some nuggets and a cheeseburger and some stuff. And Daniel, one of my co co-workers, take her order and she's like trying to get a free food. She's like, "Can you guys give me the nuggets, 10 piece nuggets and a cheeseburger for free or I'm going to call the cops and get everybody deported?" Some some something like that. >> The officer returned to the parking [music] lot. The two original officers noted that the woman had blown a small situation way out of proportion, as well as lied about her intentions at the drive-thru window. Next, a female officer transferred Nicole to her car. >> Okay. Do you know? Do you understand that you're under arrest today for physical patrol DUI? Has anyone told you that yet? Uh, no. Okay. So, you're going to be under arrest today for a physical patrol DUI. What's going to happen is I'm going to take you to the jail. I'm going to get a warrant for your blood. Okay. And then that that warrant will be signed by a judge and then we're going to snag your blood and we'll go from there. Okay. >> Do you use any illicit substances? Do you use any? >> No. >> No. No fol, no meth. I don't even smoke weed. >> Okay. Do you have any oxy of any sort? >> I don't do oxyen. puppy. >> Drips. >> Okay, sounds good. Nicole. >> Oh, priorio. >> How long have you been a cop? >> Uh, just a little bit under two years. >> Yeah. You got to prove yourself a little bit. >> Oh, no, not at all. >> Oh, sure. There's got to be more press and cases going on around here. >> Oh, DUI is pretty impressive, actually. Pretty pretty good to get off the road. >> Well, you don't know if it's a DUI. That's an assumption. >> It's an investigation. >> It's an assumption. >> It's a pretty big assumption, too. So, if you're wrong, it's not going to be good for you. >> Is that a threat? >> Nope. It's just not going to be good for anyone if you make assumptions and it's not true. >> Not only did the female officer find an open bottle of penog grigio in Nicole's car, she also smelled alcohol on her breath. All the way to the police department and even during the blood test, Nicole was incredibly rude and combative with the officers. The next day, a Door Dash driver who was picking up an order at 7-Eleven reported Nicole again. >> So, I guess start to finish, what what happened? What did you see? What' you hear? What' you smell? Any kind of like the five senses if you can as you're going through it. >> Gotcha. So, um I I heard her being really belligerent when I walked in and I kind of stood back for a second and she looked at me and she was like just go get what you want and I was like I'm I'm here for Door Dash like and so I just like that was odd. >> Okay. I guess when you when you were talking her define belligerent >> belligerent as in like aggressive and rude and crude like she was really crude. She was she was >> she's 12. She had I get you like >> I make sure she have your keys though. That's what it's I guess she's 12. She don't like it. But okay. >> So she she was like, "What are you here for? Are you are you his girlfriend? Are you here for to get your wet or whatever?" And I was like I just gave her the look. She's what? And I was like, "No." And she wouldn't leave me alone. >> So I walked to the other side of the store and she went out the door and he was like chasing after her because I think he thought she was stealing something. She went to my car like like she was going to do something but then went to another car and like tried to get in the truck. >> Tried to get in a truck. She walked in. >> It was driving. The truck was leaving and she was trying to get in the truck and then she went back in. She was yelling something like I'm not with you or you're that kid. >> And I was like okay. And then she um then she went and got in her car. >> The woman was arrested again for DUI. This would make two DUI charges in the [music] span of 2 days. Not only was she rebooked, but her car was also impounded to prevent her from endangering the lives of other people anymore. Hopefully, Nicole chooses to participate in rehabilitation, [music] which would greatly benefit her. On January 27th, 2025, officers on a routine patrol noticed a vehicle pull a reckless move on the road. Instead of waiting at a stoplight like a normal person, the driver of the vehicle decided to cut through a parking lot in order to skip waiting at the red light. >> Hello, Officer Bear MKPD. The reason I pulled you over is because you're cutting through this. >> Good morning. So is everybody else. There's one right behind you. There was one right here that just turned, but you got me. So, good morning. >> All right. Well, actually, I've been sitting here the whole time doing traffic crash. >> Okay. Well, there's literally one right behind you, but yeah. And then there's one that just cut right in front of me, too. So, that's okay. Okay. >> You know what? I don't know what you're talking about. >> Of course. Okay. >> Because I've been sitting here the whole time. >> Okay, that's fine. >> All right. And there's no need to argue. >> Yes. Good morning. >> Do you have your registration insurance? >> That's >> And if you happen to be talking about the Jeep in the Hyanda, that was a traffic crash that I was taking care of. >> No, it wasn't that. It was >> the car would be. >> Oh, I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not arguing >> that's what I have on me right now. I'm sorry for the US defense or you found a blue. >> Okay, I'm going to tell you right now. You should know better then. >> I know we just moved here. So, I just came straight from the base. of all equals. I know that's not an excuse, but that's what I have right now on me. And I just switched my bag, so that's why. >> Okay. Not having a driver's license makes me believe that you don't have a valid driver's license. >> Okay. >> The officer informed the woman, Danielle, that being a smart mouth would only earn her a ticket. As a military spouse, she should have known better than to drive without a valid license, as well as not to talk back to a law enforcement officer. After checking their system, the officer cannot find any record of Danielle's valid driver's license. >> All right. Do you want to go ahead turn the vehicle off and step outside for me, please? >> Can I ask why? >> Well, right now you don't have a driver's license. All right. And I need to Why don't you step out here? That's why. All right. See bumped off. >> But I would like to know why I have to step out just cuz I don't have a license. >> Because I'm going to read you your rights and I'm going to talk to you. I'm not going to ask you again. Okay. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> That's all I want to tell you. >> All right. So, you're arresting me. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> No, I want to know. You're arresting me. >> I'm not going to ask you again. >> I just need to know if you're Excuse you. Excuse you. Excuse you. >> Absolutely not. >> Excuse you. Oh my god. >> Get out. Get out of the vehicle. How dare you? Oh my god. Stop. I'm scared. Oh my god. Stop. [screaming] Oh my god. [screaming] The bratty woman unsurprisingly made the situation way harder than it had to be. Instead of simply exiting the vehicle when the officer commanded her to, she decided to stay inside and let the officer take control. Then she called her husband while the officer called for backup. >> You're going to pick yourself up a resisting if you don't do as I say now. >> You There is no exceptions. >> You rigged me out of my car. >> All right. You got yourself a resisting. You are going to go to jail. I'm done. Out. Your husband can come pick up this car. I need you out now. [crying] >> I've asked her to step out of the vehicle multiple times. I can't get her out of the vehicle. She has no driver's license. Like >> I want to read her rights back here >> because I have a feeling she's never been issued one based on what talent types tell me. But who knows? I haven't even read her lights. >> I want to go. >> All right, ma'am. You need to step out of the car. >> All right. Step out of the car, ma'am. >> The show's over. Step out of the car. >> Cuz you're crying doesn't mean you can't walk. >> The male officer, who had just arrived on scene, definitely had a lower tolerance for nonsense than the female officer. It seemed like his presence was necessary to make Danielle understand that she was in serious trouble. Put your hands behind your back now. >> You have the right to remain silent. Any things that you say can be used against you in court. With that in mind, do you wish to speak to me? I'm not going to deal with this smart ass anymore. Yes or no question. >> You already ran her. >> Yeah. >> No license, >> nothing. >> Never issue. >> Play the game later. >> All right. >> You want to talk? Fine. You want driver's license? That's fine. >> Oh, am I asking am I answering your questions? I'm sorry. Am I literally No, we don't have time. We're done. Okay. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke and harm me in any way? >> The female officer finished conducting the search of Danielle's person and didn't find any contraband or weapons. Another officer arrived on the scene after a miscommunication over the radio. They discussed the situation while they waited for the suspect's husband to arrive. >> Hello. Hi, Daniel. I'm Officer Garc Police Department. >> What license do you are you driving out of? Do you have a license at all? >> I do. I It's Texas. >> Texas? >> Yeah, I can give you my social. I don't know why she didn't ask me for that. >> That's the So, what she's saying that she asked you and you gave her a extremely hard time. >> No, she asked me if I had a driver's license and she made me feel like I was lying to her. I literally showed her my bag. I just switched it. People forget. >> I literally don't have it on me, but I [music] >> Yeah. >> So, I would have I didn't really want her to have a head injury. I could have tried to pull her feet out and I grabbed him. I thought twice because I just I didn't have somebody else and I didn't want to risk that. >> Yeah. >> So, the reason why you were detained is because you gave her extremely hard [music] time. Okay. >> I wasn't resisting. I literally asked her if she was asked if she said, "Get out of your car so I can read your rights." I said, "Wait a minute. It clicked." And I said, "Well, why are you like She didn't say that before. She said that the second time." >> And then I said, "Well, wait. Are you arresting me?" And then she said, "I'm reading your rights. Get out of the car." And then I said, "What?" And she literally went into my car and forced herself in and started yanking me out. >> I just wanted to know why she was doing what she was doing. That's all I was asking her. and she got frustrated and upset and went into my car and yanked me out. >> The officers lamented about the fact that Danielle was only cooperative with the male officers. The woman named several [music] states that she could possibly have a license in, including Texas, Virginia, and Massachusetts. Her Texas license had expired for 3 years, and it was the only one that came up in the system. >> How can we help you? I was just wondering what the pause for the stop was. >> She's cutting through a lane. >> Okay. >> A little parking lot. >> Okay. And then uh the pause for pulling her out of her vehicle >> because I asked her to stop out of the vehicle and she refused. >> For what purpose? >> Well, she's going to jail right now cuz she has no driver's [music] license. >> Actually, she does have a driver's license. >> For where? >> Okay. >> Huh? >> From Texas. >> It's expired by more than 22 years. And as a military [music] service member >> that's also passed on to the spouse. I already have pulled up on my phone. It's on my bike. It's still valid. Can't use it as an ID, but it's a valid license. >> So, but you've been living in Florida since uh May of last year. Correct. >> That's correct. >> So, you can't have a Texas license if you're living in Florida. >> That's not true. As I'm active in the military, yes, you can. >> Okay. >> You can't have an expired driver's license by over six months. It's a criminal offense. It doesn't matter if you're in the military. I'm in the military, too. Then you should know >> it doesn't matter. You can have a a license out of another state. That is true. But you still have to have a valid license. >> It is valid. >> Is she deployed right now? No, she's not. That's the only excuse to not >> keep your license renewed. >> Do it right now. Then I I can tell you that you still have to have a valid license. >> Danielle's husband arrived on scene and [music] was just as argumentative as she was. Ultimately, there was nothing he could do to change the situation. Danielle was charged with resisting without violence and driving with a driver's license over 6 months expired. On the evening of June 7th, 2025, officers from the Flaggler County Sheriff's Office received reports of a woman driving an SUV on a pedestrian and bike [music] path. Apparently, the woman had been pursuing a teen who was riding an ebike. [music] A witness reported that he had cut off the vehicle before she could catch the teen. When the officers arrived, they were met with the witnesses. >> I was just driving like a teenager behind him. Situation at the same >> on the sidewalk. >> Yeah, I was like on the sidewalk. >> They had turned right here. I turned in front of her chas. Did you hear her saying anything when she was driving off on the >> Yeah, she said the kid was driving fast in the neighborhood almost which regardless. >> Yeah, I know. >> That's [clears throat] not how we deal with things as adults. >> Okay. >> You said you had video on her. I >> know. They sent it to us, but I didn't have time. So, we just brought it up. >> So, this is almost 3 minutes long. >> The footage continued for several minutes showing the vehicle speeding up to catch the teen and the bystander cutting off her path. The witnesses reported that the teen had fled the scene quickly. By checking the license plate, the officer was able to identify the suspect as a 65year-old woman from Palm Coast and went to speak with her. >> Here's what happened. >> Okay, >> they don't they didn't they don't know what's going on with their phones. They act like they know what happened. >> Okay, >> I live right there. I'm 65 years old. I have both of my hips replaced. >> Okay, >> I also have a dog who I was throwing the ball up the squeaking toy for him. He wasn't in the street. This boy comes down on the sidewalk 35 miles an hour. I'm not kidding you. Two nights ago or in the evening, I'm on the street that goes along there. He comes right at me and I was like, "You have to slow down when people are here." >> He thought that was funny. So they go more and so then tonight, so I get my car to try to catch him because I thought he lived in the neighborhood. I wanted to either see where he lived to talk to his mother nicely or I wanted to talk to him nicely >> because I thought he was my neighbor. No, he's doing guess what? He doesn't even live in here. So then I go after him to try to find him because I know you're never going to find him. >> And they're all like, "You're acting recklessly." I was like, "You don't even know what happened." First of all, if he hits me with two replaced hips and I can't walk anymore cuz believe me, if I go down, I'm not walking anymore. That's going to be bad enough. If he hits my dog, you I don't know if you have a dog, but that's my child. >> The woman, who identified herself as Julia, rattled off countless excuses as to why she chose to chase the teen down the road at a high speed. The teen hit neither her nor her dog, so there was no reason for her to retaliate. >> Julia, okay, so I got video of you driving up on the sidewalk recklessly. You would have hit that kid on a bike and killed him. You're going to jail for manslaughter. You understand? >> I hit him and him. >> You're You're driving recklessly on the sidewalk where people walk their dogs and ride their bikes. That video of you doing almost 30 mph up that sidewalk. >> I was trying to catch him. >> Ma'am, >> I'm listening. I'm listening. >> Cuz you're this close to going to jail. >> I'm listening. >> You understand? >> I understand you're concerned about kids driving. You call us. We do our best to find him. Right. You think 65 years old, right? You think it's a smart idea to be driving up on a sidewalk doing 30 m an hour chasing a kid on a bike? >> Answer the question. >> I don't consider that a sidewalk. >> What do you consider it? >> There's cars on there all the time. >> They're parked up on the grass so they can walk on the sidewalk. >> You are doing I got you for at least 3 minutes >> up on the sidewalk driving recklessly over 30 miles an hour from what my reporting party told me. >> And you can see he was going faster than me. >> Do you still think you're correct? >> That's how you do it again. You are going to jail for taking >> I will never do it again. >> Do you understand what your actions? >> I do understand. I was very emotional. >> Okay. So maybe you think you collect yourself as a 65-year-old woman about what you were doing. You would hit anybody else on that sidewalk besides this kid. If you didn't say there was no I I I'm not disagreeing with you, but I >> You're wrong for trying to >> make this sound correct on your end. Okay. You're 100% wrong. I won't. The officer remained firm in his stance as Julia continued to try to defend and excuse her actions. The officer was so bothered by her actions that he told her if the boy contacted the police, he would take her to jail for aggravated assault. As luck would have it, the boy indeed called 911 after speaking with his parents. >> How we doing? >> Yeah. >> How you doing, Mr. Sergeant? Sheriff's office. How are you today? I guess we had an incident a couple days ago with your son who was a victim of something that happened. >> Do you have any other video evidence other than what you provided with deputy butler yesterday? >> Looking at the video, I don't know what happened. My shift wasn't working. So I don't know why there was a lack followup or anything like that. So first of all, I apologize for that. >> Looking at the video, >> I'm not seeing assault. Okay. Okay. She's far enough away in the video from what we can tell. She's in a vehicle so if she really wanted to assault or do harm to somebody, she could very easily spit up. >> What I'm seeing the most of right now from the video that was provided yesterday is reckless driving. >> All right. So, she's driving on the sidewalk and she's driving. >> All right. So, what I'm seeing as of right now is what we can do. Like I said, that's why I was asking if there's any other video is file charges for reckless harm. >> All right. >> What about intent that child endangerment? >> Nothing else. >> The the other issue I have with the assault aspect. I think we might have been able to pursue that or press it a little bit if we were called that night. >> The officer informed the victim's parents that the video did not show assault even though the officer the previous night said otherwise. The victim's parents wanted the maximum charges Julia could receive, so they showed him the video the teen recorded. >> There's this lady trying to hit me. After hearing the victim's statement about Julia cutting him off instead of simply following him on the bike path, the officers knew she would likely get more charges than just reckless driving. The officers returned to Julia's house, verandized her, and questioned her again. >> With these rights, are you willing to talk to me? >> Yes. >> Okay. So when you were following him, did you ever get close to him? >> I don't think so. No, I couldn't catch up with him. >> So you were trying to catch up to him >> enough that I could talk to him. Yeah. Tell him what? >> So if he's speeding away and you're continuing to follow him. Why would you just Why would you keep on following? I I just >> That was stupid. >> So what was going on inside your your What was your emotions like? Um, mainly I think I know where he lives now. Like I said, I wanted to talk to him or, you know, let his mother know so that um, >> it wouldn't happen anymore. I should I shouldn't have done it. I should jump. >> So, when you were on the sidewalk, did you ever like jump in front of him? >> Nothing. Nothing like that. You didn't try to get in front of him before you started following him? >> Yeah. before I started filming >> or before you went on the sidewalk because that's the story I got that right before you hopped on the sidewalk or maybe as soon as it happened you kind of like tried to cut him off. >> I tried to come around. I didn't try to cut him off. >> So you try to go around him you're saying? >> Okay. And what was your goal to going around him? >> Okay. How fast were you going >> when you were as fast as he was? I don't know. >> Okay. So you were trying to catch up to him even though he was going pretty fast on a sidewalk with a bike. Okay. >> You understand where we're coming from here? >> I do. I do. cuz it's it's ridiculous. I'm going to be honest with you. >> The officers continued to question her, but once again, she tried to justify her actions. The officers agreed that her actions were out of line and she tried to talk her way out of trouble. However, the officers were not going to buy the woman's story. >> So, I need you to turn around for me. >> We'll do that. We'll do we'll do all that. My mother's in front of my neighbor. >> We can we can go in the door for you. >> Yep. That's fine. I'll give you that respect. >> Can I get my purse? >> Yep. We'll we'll get you your your ID. >> I have to. It's purple. So, just turn around for me. >> Put your hands behind your back like you're praying. >> I'm going to turn the lights on. >> Do you have anyone that can watch the dogs? >> Yeah. >> What happens when I go to jail? Well, they'll explain everything to that, too. I'll kind of give you a rundown, too. But you're going to need to talk to um your attorney if you have one. >> All right. Are those cuffs good? Not too tight. >> Okay. >> Yeah. [clears throat] >> It's okay. >> All right. Let's leave it in the car. Julia was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. She was also charged with reckless driving and issued a traffic citation for driving on the bike path. She was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall inmate detention facility and later released on a $3,000 bond. On the evening of April 17th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a Circle K gas station in Melbourne, Florida. The Circle K employees who were trying to close the store for the night reported a mother and a son who were refusing to leave the store because their car ran out of gas. >> Hello, ma'am. >> Yes. >> Officer Lou with the city of M Police Department. >> We got a call over here at Circle K and they're advising that they need to close and you're refusing to leave. I think it's probably because you're out of gas, right? Right. >> Okay. Let me see if you're allowed to maybe leave the vehicle here right now. >> I have the gas can. >> Okay. Do you have vehicle? Do you have gas in there? >> I'm waiting for my mom to come. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> Listen, I don't know what you're trying to do, but >> I am sitting at Circle K with no gas. >> Well, it's not my fault. >> No one said it is. It's not my fault about anything in your life and how you need mental health. >> Okay. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. I'm going to send the um mental health coordinator over. [snorts] I wish you would. >> Okay, ma'am. I'm not here to argue. I just want >> to evaluate you also. >> Okay, listen. I need gas. You're gonna help me or you're not. You told my friends figure it out. >> She says she's not going to help you. Okay. >> Nancy about me. Did you talk to my friend? >> I'll be right back. I'm going to ask him do they want this vehicle towed from their lot cuz it doesn't look like you got anything. >> I have AAA. >> Okay. Well, let me go ask. Okay. It was clear that the woman, Janet, and her mother were not on good terms, and it didn't look like the ladder would help her. The officer then talked to the gas [music] station employee to figure out what they wanted to do about the situation. >> Hello, ma'am. Officer Louis Mount Police Department. I think you were here the other day when I was here. Okay. So, they're out of gas. She apparently she I don't think she's going to get any gas. >> No, my system's I need a square upgrade right now. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, do you want are they allowed to wait for gas or >> No, I need them trespass because they've been caught stealing. Okay. This is the second night she's came up here yelling at me for >> Okay. So, what about this? Their vehicle is stuck here. Do you want to call a tow truck? I don't I can't call it for you. It's on your property. >> Yeah. >> But do you want to call a tow truck to have their vehicle towed somewhere? >> Okay. Yeah, I'll have I'll call my boss >> cuz I can't Their vehicle stuck. But, you know what I mean? >> Yeah. It was a hard like I wasn't even going to call but she kept like trying to yell at me and talk at me. I'm like >> I'm aware we we've dealt with her numerous time. That was the first time I dealt with her but the other officers dealt with her multiple times. >> So I do you want her just trespassed or the son as well? >> Both of them. Okay. Well, we'll we'll go ahead and trespass them. If they refuse to leave, would you like them arrested? >> Okay. The Circle K employee informed the officer that the motherson duo had been caught stealing previously and she wanted them trespassed from the property due to their rude behavior. Unsurprisingly, it didn't go very well when the officer informed them of this decision. >> They're close. Hello, ma'am. >> So, I understand that you don't have any gas. Okay, she's calling the tow truck, but for right now, she wants y'all trespass from this property. Okay, >> she's not trespassing. Listen, I already spoke to the manager. Him and I are like this. I understand that, but she wants you trespassed. Okay. >> I don't care if she's nobody. >> Why don't you call have her call the manager of the store? >> Is this vehicle racer to you? >> No, it's just my mom. >> Oh, okay. >> Why don't you have her call? >> Yeah, because I don't have to tell do what you're talking. >> Yeah. So, the gas can is here. I just need to get some gas now. I'll try and tell my car. >> The store manager is on the phone. >> And I'm the assistant and we are both saying that you have to leave. >> Did you hear that, ma'am? All right. Fine. Yes. >> Okay. She's saying if you don't leave the property, we're going to arrest you. Do you understand that? >> Oh, I didn't do anything for you to arrest me. Can I speak to uh >> No, she doesn't want to speak. Okay. So, I'm going to ask you now. >> She is the man. She's right now. She's an authorized person. Okay. So, I'm going to ask you to leave the property. I understand this is your vehicle. >> Your car. It's your mom's car, right? >> No, it's in both. >> No, you said it's You said it's not under your name. >> You said it's in both names. >> No, you said it's your mom's. >> You know what? You need to start recording stuff. >> I'm recording them. I said to >> ma'am, we're not going to argue with you. Okay, so now >> arguing, >> sir, that's you as well. Okay, so you got to leave the property. >> The officer informed the pair that they needed to leave the property immediately as they were being trespassed. Janet complained, stating they had no right to tow the car, even though the car wasn't hers. As the officers started to move in to remove them from the vehicle, the duo became more and more difficult to deal with. Where's my car? >> No, you're going to break my door. >> Step out. >> Hey. Hey, Matthew. Leave the property. Leave the property. Matthew is leaving the property. >> He's not He's not leaving. He's walking towards the property. Be arrested. >> Ma'am, [screaming] back up. >> Don't you touch my back. You just threw that in my face. It hurt my goddamn >> you are going to jail. >> Okay beat up white. >> You mother >> you mother. You slam my son's head. >> Mom got my phone. >> Matthew, why would you do that? >> You're not going to property. >> No, you're not. You're going to jail, too. >> I'm going off the property. >> You got two handcuffs. >> No, you're hurting me. Matt. Hey, you might off the property. >> I didn't do anything. >> Yes, you did. Drop your phone. >> I didn't do anything. >> Stop resisting. >> Break my arm. >> You better stop resisting. I'm not past you. I'm trying to >> Mom, I hate you. You >> That's not very nice. >> I don't give a mom. And that's it. >> Yeah. Just ask for her. >> You're the officers managed to detain Janet and her son Matthew in handcuffs. The entire time she rattled off racist remarks and threatened that the officers were going to go to jail for allegedly hurting her. She also threatened the life of her own mother as well as the life of the Circle K employee. >> Did you have that ID with you, ma'am? Do you mind if I get it? >> Did you reserve him throw that phone at me and hit me in the head? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm dead. That's a whole lot. >> Do you want to be Do you want her arrested for >> Oh, absolutely. >> Okay. >> Oh, yeah. >> I'll be right back with you. Yeah. Yeah, she hit me in the head. No, he hit me in the head. >> Recall we got fire rescue on the way. >> My son didn't touch you. >> They also see him. He threw a phone at me and it hit me right here. >> That's your fault. >> Okay. All right. So, we have fire rescue come check you out. Is that cuz you have heart issues? >> Yes. >> Yes, ma'am. All right. >> And my son's disabled. So, if you touch him, you go to jail automatically. >> Okay. >> Black, yellow, white, it don't matter. >> And you broke my arm. >> Okay. >> Okay. I can't. >> You don't have ID with you, right? >> I just want to stand up. >> You have ID with you? >> No. He's putting pressure on my back. Well, we don't want you to lean up. That's the thing. >> I don't I can't breathe. >> I have horror issues, you dumb ass. >> Okay. Well, what do you want me to do? We have >> I want you to let me stand up. You're standing up, but you're not >> You're hurting me. We're not trying to I didn't get a chance to call. You're pulling up my dress. You're looking at my ass. >> You are >> throwing a lot of things at us right now. We're not >> I didn't do >> My son dropped his phone because of you. Now, you can buy him a new phone. >> Okay. >> Yeah. What's your first name? >> Boogie. >> Are you refusing to identify yourself? >> Medics were called due to Janet's alleged heart problems, but it could have easily been a ploy to try and escape her charges. Still, she was charged with trespassing and resisting an officer without violence. The resisting charge was dropped in court and she was sentenced to 20 days in jail. On July 8th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a local Dollar General store. They arrived following reports of a woman who had trashed the entire store after the store denied her job application. >> What happened? she uh applied here for a job and I kept trying to get over and today she finally texted back and says I don't even get up till noon and I said unfortunately I thought that you wanted a job said I will have to hire someone else so she text me and said well I dodged a bullet thank you she came in here and she says What's what's corporate's number? I said it's right there on the door. And it's just one I'm calling every day. I said just calm down. And she says, who the think you are? Went out there and throw that around. If I ever see you outside, >> okay, >> need a little help. >> Okay. The officer took a moment to assess the damage that the woman had caused in the store. The employee noted that since she was an older woman, she did not feel comfortable confronting the suspect herself. He could tell that the elderly employee was trying to hold back her emotions. So, he promised her that he would do what he could. >> I know people don't like me. This is part a lot, but I'm just trying to be myself, >> right? Oh, I get it. Okay. Well, let me take the video. It's just in this area and then outside. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um >> I don't want to back in you. >> Okay. Conrad is wrong. If he thinks I'm going to have people threaten me and coming after me, >> right? >> I don't know what you can do to help me, but I would appreciate it. >> He will have charge charges pressed. Help me out. >> Y conduct and criminal damage. It's broke some stuff. So, >> okay. >> Appreciate it. >> Not a problem. I'll get back with you sometime. >> The officer went to locate the suspect in order to apprehend her for her actions. Since the suspect had applied for a job at the Dollar General store, the employee had the suspect's address on file. The officer followed the address and knocked on the woman's door. >> Oh, >> hi. >> Hi. What's going on? >> Nothing. >> What happened to Dollar General? >> Not a whole lot. >> Not a whole lot. She's a >> and she deserved to know it. [music] >> Okay. >> And I went down and told her that. >> Okay. Did you throw some stuff around? >> Some clothes on the ground? Yeah. >> Okay. Look like a lot more in clothes. >> No, she can clean it up. She deserves it. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, you're going to be placed under arrest. >> Why? >> Uh disorderly conduct and criminal damage. >> No. >> Yeah. >> No. >> Yep. >> Turn your hands on the back. >> Um I need to get Devin, >> nope. We're not playing this. We're not playing this. >> I was telling my husband. >> Okay. >> Get your hands off of me. >> No, that's not how it works. >> Get your how it works. >> Your guts. Stop. What are you doing? >> Stop. My face is hurting. My eyes are hurting. >> I said you're hurt. It's hurting. Stop. >> We're scaring my son. Well, you shouldn't ass down there. >> Well, she don't give a You shouldn't have went down there to that job was not a job good enough for you. >> That job was good enough. She's over there. >> Stay there. >> The suspect Jessica was entitled and rude even in front of her son. Even her mother was telling her off for even going to the Dollar General in the first place and stated that Jessica needed to learn her lesson. Despite the chaotic scene, the officer was able to get the suspect in handcuffs. [crying] >> Nothing else. No threats. >> And I hope to god she has fun here. >> [crying] >> should be processed conduct and criminal damage should be released [crying] for criminals. >> Lucky for Illinois, >> let's go. I'm ready. >> Central. >> Why did you let that little boy see that mom getting arrested? >> Yes, he will. I got to go see what >> the >> I'm secure now. I got everybody back off of me. >> Go calm my mom down. >> I will. >> I just come up to the insurance office. >> Don't let my [ __ ] cat out. >> I won't. >> Sorry. I'm not meaning to be a plant. I'm sorry. This is I mean you could have made this so much easier, Jessica. >> Seriously. >> The officer escorted Jessica to the police truck. He informed her that she was way out of line with the way she acted. Before she was placed in the truck, she asked the officer to put himself in her position and asked him how would he react if his job offer was rescended. >> I get it, but there was so many different ways this could have went and been handed. >> And I blacked out. Okay. I got pissed off and I blacked out. I didn't threaten her. I didn't touch her. I threw some [ __ ] on the ground. That's it. Because it felt really good to know that she is the only one there and she has to clean it up because how the are you going to do that to somebody? You don't just hire somebody and then a day before they start you're like, "Oh, I hired somebody else." You don't do that, right? >> Like I know I could have handled it better and I had a week left, but I blacked out. It just really upset me. >> Like how are you going to do that? >> I I get it. I do. >> And I'm not trying. >> There's consequences for it. So, >> I know. I wasn't trying to take it out on you, Clint. I'm sorry. >> It's all right. >> No, it's not. >> I mean, it's all It's all part of the job. >> I've acted like I've never acted like that. >> Well, I was course I haven't dealt with you a lot, but obviously, but you know, >> I have I'm sure you've heard. >> Okay. So, yep. Just careful stepping in there and then you get your seat belt on. Yeah. Safety first. >> Oh, see. >> Sorry. >> No, you're fine. I just got to find the There it is. >> I've lost weight, but my hips haven't. >> No, it got stuck down there between the the little gap and the seat. >> Okay. You good? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's good. I'm going to get >> All right. >> Jessica was charged with criminal damage to property as well as disorderly conduct. The officer should have charged her with resisting arrest as well, but he decided to be lenient with her since she was clearly having a bad day. Hopefully, her time in jail allows her to reflect on how to be a better person, especially a better role model for her son. On July 21st, 2025, officers were dispatched to [music] a parking lot. A caller had requested a wellness check on an elderly woman who appeared to be intoxicated. Not only was she attempting to drive a vehicle in her drunken state, she was also seen trying to get into the wrong car. >> Thought that was my car. >> Got blood all over. >> Come this way for me. Okay. >> Oh, I'm okay. >> Lady for 24 hours. >> Can I have my arm? >> Yeah, just cut my arm. >> Okay. >> Real bad. Have a seat for me just a second, honey. Okay. So, listen. >> Why would you bring me over? >> I I'm not pulling you over cuz you're >> I was backing up >> alter status and she's also covered in blood. >> So, >> what? >> That's correct. Okay. So, someone was saying that you were driving all over the roadway. You came in, you parked, you parked here. I see you stumbling through the parking lot and then you just try to get in this gentleman's car. Okay. So, >> Oh, I I thought that was my car. >> Okay. But so, I have concerns that you're not okay to drive right now. >> Oh, I'm okay. >> I don't think you are. You're You're not okay. >> She just tried The gentleman's in here trying to eat and she just went into his car. His vehicle's right there. Her vehicle's right there. >> No, sit down. >> No. Um, >> sit down. >> I'm fine. >> No, you're not. >> The woman [music] repeatedly tried to convince the officer that she was fit to drive. Although her speech was slurred and she fell over when she sat down, the woman thought she would be able to drive home safely. [music] The officers called for EMS to check her out since she was covered in blood, which she claimed [music] was from falling over at a friend's house. Okay. Well, we're going to have EMS take a look at you, honey. But you're not going to be okay to drive regardless. Okay. Do you have anyone at home? >> Yeah. >> That would be able to drive. Yeah. Okay. So, we'll have EMS take a look at you and then we'll figure that out in a minute. Okay. >> Why is I need EMS? Why are all these people? >> We're just worried about you, honey. >> I'm fine. >> But you're you're stumbling all over the place. You said you had medication, which is obviously making you >> I understand, but I don't think that you're okay to drive. >> Well, >> so I can't. >> So, >> we're going to have EMS look at you and they they'll probably wrap that up for you. So, we'll keep bleeding all over you. Okay. >> All right. >> Do you I'm gonna ask you some silly questions. Okay. Do you know who the president is? >> Whether you like him or not? >> All right. Do we have to go there? >> Yeah, we do. I'm sorry. >> There you go. I say you don't have to like him, but >> yeah. Come on, bro. Need a break. >> Do you know what year it is? >> Yeah, I do. Uh 2005. >> 2005. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> See, I'm supposed to go to Pan Park >> for to where? >> My doctor appointment. >> Oh, do you have an appointment today? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> So, I'm trying to get there. Okay. >> The female officer tried to assess the woman's [music] cognitive state by asking her some obvious questions that anyone would know the answer to. After blatantly getting them wrong, it was clear to the officer that she was in no condition to drive. Soon enough, EMS arrived on scene. >> Okay, so this is uh who she is. We had a witness that was watching her drive all over the road. Oh no. >> She was driving all over. Called it in. Obviously that's a lie. >> She's parked over here in that red car. She died out. They saw her stumbling through the parking lot. When I pull up, she's stumbling. Obviously slur speed. She's >> bleeding everywhere. Um she tried to get in these people's vehicle. >> Are you kidding? >> That's her vehicle. She's probably not skated, but she >> Why am I eating them? We just got >> You still think you're a merry camp? Mary camp ain't any anywhere is not anywhere near. >> Oh, you're just coming in here being a drug. >> No, I'm not. >> You just came into the city. >> You're the one here. >> You're the one that's being belligerent with everyone. Let them check out. >> I live in there. >> Let them check out. >> I know exactly where you're at. >> Let them check out. Okay. >> Let them do some vitals and check out. >> If you don't know where you're at, you're >> I do know where the I'm at. [screaming] Are you stupid? What the >> I [ __ ] people. >> You got to learn how to [ __ ] >> right now. You're being disorderly. >> I'm not I'm being >> You are You're not You're not even cooperating. I'm asking you nicely >> to go get checked. >> Okay. Listen, we're not playing with you anymore. You're going to let them check your vitals, okay? Or we're just going to take you to jail directly. Do you want to do that? >> The woman finally sat down on the back side of the ambulance so that [music] EMS could check her vitals. The entire time she insulted the officers and paramedics, only making it clearer that she was drunk out of her mind. She even threatened to sue the paramedics for allegedly testing for alcohol in her blood when they were simply checking her blood sugar levels. >> You can sue me all you want. You'd be sorry. You would not be happy. >> You just get three kids in a bunch of debt for me. I got >> you guys ain't got you guys too. >> That's why we That's why we work these stupid jobs. >> Yeah, this is job, guys. >> You're not going with them. You're coming with me. >> Why? >> Because I'm going with you. >> Yeah, you are. >> Why? >> Hospital or with me? >> Going with Why would I go with you? >> Because you're disorderly. >> I'm not. >> You are, my dear. >> No, I'm not.
