Step away. Step away. You're not doing this again. >> This go. >> No, you're not doing this again. This is >> No, you're done. >> Don't do this to me. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> I'm not a criminal. >> And we didn't do a goddamn thing wrong. And you're in my room and you have no business. >> It's a room I rented, so it's my room right now. >> Some people have no respect when staying on someone else's property, whether intoxicated or just downright rude. It's not going to end well when entitled Karens refuse to leave their hotel room. Lay on the bed on your stomach. Lay on the bed. >> LET ME PULL MY PANTS UP. CAN I >> then do it? You may >> lay down on your stomach. >> On May 5th, 2025, officer Shelby Johnson responded to a call about a woman who was staying at a hotel despite not being listed as a registered guest. Staff reported how she had been causing damage in her room and knocking on other guests doors. Bizarrely, she'd even moved the king-size bed frame into the hallway at one point. >> Hey there. >> Hi. >> How's it going? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. I'm good. I'm here just to talk to you. They wanted me to come and see what's going on. Sounds like you damaged a window in room 136. And >> No, that was already broken. >> Sounds like there's video of you. >> I'll go around the door there. >> No, I want to talk to you. Do you have an ID on you? >> Let's go right into We're talking right in front of the front desk. So, I have a witness. I'll go right with you. Yeah, >> I got video on my body camera as well. >> Do you have an ID on you? >> I do not. Do you have an ID? >> I do. It's right on my name tag. What's your name? >> Whatever you want it to be, right? >> Nope. I need to know your name. >> What's your name? >> Shelby. >> Shelby. What? >> Johnson. What's your name? >> Sheila. >> Sheila. What's your last name? >> Kennedy. >> Sheila Kennedy. If my dispatch looks for Sheila Kennedy, is that going to come back? >> It might. Yeah, >> it might. Or is it going to? cuz if it doesn't, we're going to have problems. >> Employees told the woman to leave and that they didn't need her excuses, but she continued making up stories anyway. She also denied knocking on other guests doors. When asked why she'd been doing that, she said she didn't know, but then decided she would leave as asked. >> You're going to leave? >> No problem. >> Okay, I'm going to follow you and make sure you do. >> Come on, follow me. >> Okay. She needs a card. She locked herself out. And I want to have a print out of my receipt. And I want to know who called her unless you guys did it. And let me speak to a key card. And you said these guys called you, right? >> I don't know the name of the person. >> Nobody. How do you even know what? You got the right person if you don't know who called you. >> I said I don't know the name of the person that called. >> What name? >> And this is >> Let's go. >> After you. You have a tap? >> Yeah, I follow you. >> No, you don't. >> Yes, I do. >> Let's go. >> I'll stand here all day. Let's go. >> I can, too. >> Okay. >> Turns out the woman was not named Sheila Kennedy like she claimed earlier. She would later be identified as a 40-year-old woman named Anne. She didn't respond and started walking away when confronted about the fake name. Ironically, she then accused Officer Johnson of being the one who was fake. >> They never called you, so then you don't need to be here. >> I never said they didn't call me. >> Who called you then? >> I don't know the name of the person. >> Well, then what are you doing here? >> An employee of the hotel called me. >> Really? >> Let's go to your room. >> Let's go to your room. >> You want to be >> Let's go to your room. >> Your room's right here. Where you going? >> This is the one I called, right? You have no sense. Victoria Stoa. >> You going to pack up? >> No, I don't need to have you here. I pack up and I can leave. >> I don't need to have you as a witness. >> They called me to get you out of here. >> No, they did not. >> Yes, they did. >> No, they did not. They They did not. So, I You really want me to do this? I've seen my >> Yeah, we need to pack up. When you need to go, >> go. >> What's that? >> Go. >> When you need to come with >> I don't need you, Jack. >> You pack up if you want. >> I don't need no pack up. >> I can help you. I'm offering to help you pack up so you can get out of here quicker. >> Don't need it. You go. Here. I'll leave this door right open. Start surfing. >> Why don't you start packing up? Or I can call someone to come pick you up, get you a taxi. What do you want? Sooner you start, sooner you can get out of here. I would rather not have to charge you for the window, but that's the way you want to go. >> Are you just you doing a script? How I'll How quick in my dress? >> That's weird. I mean, if you don't pack up, we'll just remove you from here, change the door locks, and you won't leave with your stuff. >> Go ahead. I don't need it. >> Despite Anne's attitude, Officer Johnson gave her plenty of opportunity to pack her stuff and leave peacefully. However, Anne seemed set on making everyone's life difficult. But she was about to find out where that bad attitude would get her. >> All right, Victoria. This is your last chance. You can go to jail or you can leave here willingly. Okay. What do you want to do? You want to do this the easy way or the hard way? What do you want to do? You want to go to jail or do you want to go with your stuff? You're just going to stay mute. Okay. You're going to be placed under arrest. Go ahead. Stand up. >> Don't touch me. >> Stand up. >> Don't touch. >> Stand up. >> Then don't touch. Get on the Get on your stomach. >> Stop. >> You stop. I'm going to tase you. >> You stop. All right. >> Face the wall. >> Stop. I ain't doing a thing wrong. >> You stop. >> Face the wall or you're gonna get tased. >> Then t Stop. >> I'll tase you if you do not face the wall. >> I am facing the wall. >> Stand up and face the wall. >> Let me go. >> Stop. >> I'll tase you again. >> Then stop. I ain't doing anything. >> Lay on the bed. >> Lay on the bed. >> I am on the bed. >> Lay on the bed on your stomach. Oh, >> lay on the bed. >> LET ME PULL MY PANTS UP. Can I? >> Then do it. >> Me. >> Lay down on your stomach. >> During the struggle, officer Johnson found two folding knives and couldn't be sure if Anne had more. It must have come as a relief when Anne finally decided to cooperate. Although in her mind, it was Officer Johnson who was being unreasonable. >> There you go. >> You don't put for criminal damage to property. damage out perfectly. >> Yes. >> Told you I did not have to go this way. >> No, there was no other way. What was the other way? >> Pack up your stuff and leave. >> The other way. >> Stand up. >> Keep up then. >> Face the wall. >> I don't need anything. >> I'm patting you down. >> You have anything on me that's going to on you that's going to stick or poke me? >> What are you going to stick or poke? Really? Come on. >> Needles. Knives. There's knives right there on the ground. I gave you so many chances. You didn't have to be a goddamn kid. You couldn't even tell me who you called. >> All right, let's go. >> Hurry up. Dan, >> do you want to be seen by medical? >> Seen by medical for you? >> Yes. Yes or no? >> Yes or no? >> An was taken out to the squad car. Then officer Johnson searched her room for ID. There were multiple IDs under various different names and officer Johnson also discovered a broken hotel alarm clock and a substance which later tested positive for. But there was nothing which could confirm Ann's identity. >> David, did you ever talk to her? >> This one? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She's a nut. >> Did she ever tell you her name? >> Oh god. >> She has nothing in that room. >> She just got tased. So I just need to check out before she goes to jail. Um, she won't identify. >> Hey there. Hi. My name's Abigail. I'm a medic at Tri-State Ambulance. Mind if I check you out real quick? Make sure you're okay. >> Come on, everybody. Let's see this. What do you want to see? >> What are you doing? Sit down. She did not tell you to get out. >> She said she said to look at it. >> Yeah. She did not tell you to get out. What the hell is your problem? >> What the hell is your problem? >> Do you want him to check you out or no? >> She said look at I stood up. >> She didn't tell you to get out. >> Well, then have her look at me. You got to answer my questions, right? >> You in pain anywhere? >> No, I'm not in pain. >> Where did she get these? >> Arms, stomach. I aim for the stomach area. >> Okay. >> And had to be medically cleared before she could go to jail. So, Officer Johnson took her straight to the hospital. It was the hospital security officers who were finally able to ID her using old booking photos from the Lacrosse County Jail. >> I'll take one security just I think she might have slipped a cuff. I can't tell. She's feisty. They're on the way down. Do you have her name? >> She's giving me like four different names. She won't even provide it to Tristay. There was absolutely no wallet in her hotel room. She's been working on her cuffs. Once I opened it up, I don't know if she slipped it or not. She's been working on them. >> Ready? >> What >> are you still in your cuffs? >> Do you see? I'm in this. >> You've been working on them the whole way here. Before you go to jail, you have to get checked out by Tri or Gunderson. >> Go to jail. >> Okay. >> Let's go. Are you going to tell the hospital your name? Yeah. What? You like this? >> Just having to figure out your name, man. It's okay. That's gone. >> All right, take a seat. >> Thank you. You, too. >> After she was identified, dispatch was able to find her on the system. She had an active probation warrant and a misdemeanor bond with conditions not to commit any new offenses. She was charged with felony battery threat to an officer and misdemeanor counts of resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and bail jumping. On January 12th, 2025, police were called to a hotel in Ohio about a woman who was refusing to leave her room after the agreed 10:30 checkout time. She told the manager her ride was coming at 11:00, but almost 40 minutes later, she was still there. >> Wednesday, it's the place. Open up. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Hi. Checkout's 10:30. >> I was unaware it was 10:30. >> Okay. Well, when you probably sign the contract, it probably said on there how long and when you have to be out of here, right? Okay. >> They have a lobby that you can wait in for your ride. So, you're going to have to collect your property >> right at 11:30. >> Okay. And it's 11:46. It's 11:46. >> He needs to clean this room so he can rent it back out. So, you're going to have to collect your property and go down to the lobby and wait. >> All right. >> And it's time to get dressed. >> I mean, I'm not quite sure why you weren't dressed already because I mean, if your car ride was supposed to be 11:30ish, you should have been dressed, right? Officers gave Lindsay 10 minutes to dress and pack her belongings, but when she answered the door again, she still wasn't dressed. They were left with little choice but to enter the room and detain her as she clearly had no intention of leaving anytime soon. >> All right, stop. >> Time to put my clothes on. >> Get out. Close the door so I can put my clothes on. >> I'm trying to put my clothes on. >> No, you're not. No, you weren't. >> No, I am. >> Stop. >> I'm trying to put my clothes on. >> No, you weren't. >> Yes, I am. >> You have a cuff on one of them or No. >> No. >> Okay. You're being silly. >> My clothes on. >> I'm trying to put my clothes on. >> No, you weren't. You were sitting here watching TV clothes on. >> Were you? >> Yeah, I am. >> Well, you're not anymore. Now you're going to jail. Have a seat. Lindsay asked if she could put her clothes on and go home as she claimed she had a friend trying to pick her up. Since it was evident she'd not been making any effort to get ready on her own, the cops decided to put her pants on for her. >> Hey, we're going to have to put your pants on. >> No. >> Yes, we are. >> My friend is picking me up. >> You're going to put you put your pants on. >> Put your leg up. >> Put your leg up. >> Put your leg up. >> Don't be silly. Just put your pants your foot in your >> She could just go to jail like this. I don't care. >> You've had plenty of time to have your mom come pick you up >> and my friend, two people that are on their way to pick me up. >> Then why aren't they here? You've had plenty of time >> and I have live in the opportunity >> to pick me up right away. >> Okay. You still got to gather up your stuff and go. You haven't gathered up anything. >> Do you have anything illegal in this room? >> No. >> Are you sure? >> No. Lindsay might have claimed she didn't have anything illegal, but the officer still had a duty to search the room. They asked her to sit while they conducted their search, but as far as Lindsay was concerned, she hadn't done anything wrong. >> Have a seat, please, on the chair. >> Can I just get picked up? >> No. Have a seat. Sit down in the chair. >> Get yourself by my ride. >> No, we told you no. We're not cutting you off now. I have a friend that I don't care and my mom. >> I don't care. >> You had plenty of opportunities to get your stuff together and you did not. You had plenty of time. >> Lindsay tried turning on the waterworks, but when that didn't work, she finally decided to cooperate. She was given one last chance to put her pants on and she verbally agreed. Unfortunately for the officers, it would turn out to be just an act. Here. Put your leg in. Put your leg in. >> We're not going to keep playing games. >> Test your respect for yourself. I'm >> not doing anything wrong. >> You are. >> Put your other leg in. What am I doing wrong? Put your other leg in. You're putting it in backwards. >> You refuse to leave. You said your clothes on. I didn't do that. >> That's not how this works. >> You were supposed to at 10:30. You >> I was unaware of what the time was. We told you. >> You have a phone. You were on your phone. You had your phone with you. I'm sure there's a phone charger in here somewhere as well. >> Put your foot in. >> Backwards. >> I don't care. >> Duh. >> They're not. >> After the officers finished searching the room, it was time to pat Lindsay down. Suddenly, she started asking for things she hadn't bothered to pack earlier. And somehow, she still thought she was in a position to make demands. Do you have something sharp in your bra? >> I wrote my phone. >> What? >> Your phone and my AirPod. >> I don't care. Do you have something? >> Yeah, I don't care. You're I'm feeling a little aggressive. >> Stop. >> Yeah, you're being a little aggressive >> cuz you keep pulling away. >> You're being a little aggressive. >> Stop pulling away. >> Being unreasonable with your >> No, you're sit down. >> You're all in my personal space. I don't care. Stop touching me. >> There might be something in there, but it >> stand up. >> Not leaving till I have my >> Put your flip flops on. >> No, I need my flip >> cuz you're going to the car. >> No, I not leaving till I have all my stuff. It was time to take Lindsay into custody. Based on how she had been acting so far, the officers were probably expecting her to put up a fight on the way to the squad car, and she didn't let them down. >> Yeah. >> No. >> No. Come on. NO, NO, NO. IT'S >> not a choice. >> It It is a choice. >> No, it's not. >> There we go. >> No, no, no. >> I just was leaving. >> Okay, you're good. >> Yeah. Get up. >> Let's go. >> Lindsay continued putting up a fight even as officers tried to get her into the car. Not only was she making it as hard as possible for them to shut her in there, but she was also starting to get violent. >> Get in the car. >> Get out. Get in the car. >> Enjoy your life. >> If you kick, I will tie you up. >> Officers needed Lindsay sitting upright with her seat belt on for her own safety. Since she wouldn't willingly sit for them, they tried moving her to the back of a wagon. It was at this point that she started spacing out, which made the assisting officer suspicious. >> Did you take something? Can >> I get myself? >> What' you take? >> Did I get all my stuff? >> What did you take? >> My mom is trying to >> What did you take? >> Okay, we'll put in the slides like this since the entire time. Sit up there. >> I'm not doing anything. >> Ma'am, you get in the back of this wagon. Let's go. >> Lindsay, stand up and get inside there, please. >> Lindsay, just follow his business. >> Get in there. You're going Oh. Oh, the compass. up. Get down. >> Just when the officers thought she was already secured, they realized she was lying with her face up, not down. Given the drugs in her system, there was a real danger she might vomit and choke, which meant the officers needed to move her again. >> Can I go? Can I go home? >> No. >> Bend your knee. That's why you can't move your foot. >> I was just trying to go home. >> Oh my goodness. >> Oh. I'm >> stop. >> Can I go my Can I go home? >> Put your shoe on. >> We are way beyond that right now, Lindsay. >> I don't want >> I know you don't, but you're beyond that right now. Okay. So, now we have to put you in this silly ghetto because you're want to kick people. >> I'm not doing it. I'm not doing I'm not doing anything. >> Not right now. You're not. You were a few minutes ago. >> I'm not doing anything. And then face down first. >> Okay. >> Do that first. >> This is sold for success. It's not all. >> That's not your bed. >> Same. Wasn't set up. >> I'm missing another one. Should you know? >> I got it. >> Got it. >> This one is that rolling. >> Not yet. >> Ready? >> Hang twist. >> There we go. Good. With Lindsay hog tied, officers were able to lift her onto the back seat of their car and finally get her into a safe upright position. Unfortunately, the restraints didn't help her realize her mistakes because she still denied doing anything wrong on the drive to jail. >> Ready? One, two, three. Look. >> What is the reason for being hog tied? >> Because you were kicking and you couldn't sit up. >> I was not. I was just in that car, not doing a thing. Can I ask you a question? >> No. No, you can't. >> What? I'm trying to ask you a question. >> I was just laying down not saying jack [ __ ] >> Ultimately, her excuses, blatant lies, and claims of innocence didn't get her anywhere. Lindsay was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and drug possession. Some Karens act out because of substance abuse, while others are just extremely entitled. On February 4th, 2023, officers were called about a woman causing a scene and refusing to leave her hotel room after being told she couldn't extend her stay. Back. >> All right. So, what's the deal? The deal is you guys are supposed to help me find a place because I put out applications to find a place to live. >> What? >> And to have my dog and find a job, >> but there's nothing. >> I'm a drug tested because I'm diabetic. I'm trying to get my CD up. I've asked for no smoking around me. There's a lot of drugs going on. I've asked for another week because I have stuff in storage and I'm moving stuff here and back and forth. My kids have learning disabilities. I have them on certain days of the week. So, I asked them not to go in my room. When they do, they search my bills. >> Okay. But you can't stay here. They have >> I asked them for another week >> and they told you no. >> Okay. Because they're going in and stealing. So, I had to wake up yesterday. I told you that I needed help finding a place that I can have my dog. >> Ma'am, that is not the point. >> That is the point. >> It's not. It's the county, but we're not the county. You're part of Lucas County. I lived in Lucas County. >> The lead officer kept explaining that it wasn't their responsibility to find her a place to live. But the woman kept interrupting and claimed nobody was helping because she didn't have her kids full-time. Her understanding of the law was problematic at best. >> But I can claim them because I'm divorced on my taxes. >> Okay. So, who's wrong? >> That has nothing to do. >> You guys aren't doing your job. They're not doing their job. You guys are not helping me find a place to live. YOU GUYS need to help me find a place to live. And I told you that yesterday. >> What places have you uh put applications in to work? >> I went through myself and asked them >> where >> um Cherry Street. I've asked them before. Is it um Cherry Street? Where? The one just on Cherry Street right across. I put in Well, I went there. I give them my ID and I give them all my information or I told them I have a pimple and I asked them if they take pipples. They said no and I told them that he is uh a national squared animal. They told me no, but there's pipples all over the property. I was given a list from Lucas County on where to go to put an application for apartments. So, I'm staying here because I'm trying to get a permit. I know you guys are listening. You guys think it's funny as something? >> The woman went on to act as though she owned the hotel room and told the cops she didn't want employees in her room. Again, she claimed they were going through her bills to get her name and her previous address and followed it up with an even stranger claim. >> So again, you guys need to help find me a place to live because I was properly on channel 11 news. I was not supposed to be when I was missing. I was in the hospital. So that's channel 11 news spot. The police spot I was not supposed to be. So again, you guys need to help me find a place to live where it stays for my kids and where I have my pets and where there's no drugs because if I have side effects on my medication, I do not want cigarette smoke around me. Okay, ma'am. I have a question for you. If you knew there were the drugs and the cigarettes and everything, why didn't you move to like another hotel? >> I didn't. No one saw I was here. I'm here for 3 weeks. I cannot be around drugs. I'm here because I'm putting stuff in storage. Okay, but there's >> Okay, since I have to go down, but knocking me out, >> okay, I'm not. >> No, I already No, I'm not playing this game. >> One of the male officers had concerns about the dog they could hear barking, prompting more crazy stories from the suspect. She continued to talk over the officers, especially when the conversation turned to how they'd already spoken to her the previous day. >> My dog got bit by whoever owns that van down there. That was a pitull just recently here. >> Told you yesterday. >> Okay. But my dog just GOT BIT A LITTLE WHILE ago before. No, >> you guys need to help find me. That's not the counties. >> Step away. Step up. >> NO, I'M NOT DOING THIS. YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN. YOU'RE >> YOU GUYS HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE. NO. >> NO. You're not doing THIS AGAIN. THIS IS WRONG. NO. I've already been You guys HAVE DONE THIS TO ME BEFORE. YEAH. You guys get off me. No. GET OFF ME. Damn it. No. YOU GUYS ARE NOT DOING this to me again. No. NO. YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS TO ME AGAIN. I'M NOT LOOKING AT EVERYTHING AGAIN. You guys wanted to just do it before. >> The suspect must have realized crying and screaming was getting her nowhere as she calmed down once officers had her secured on the ground. She decided to try a different approach, but it would prove just as ineffective. And then I got in the car accident and then I heard everything. So >> put this this up. Do you see that? >> I'm about to pee my pants up. Seriously. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> No. >> No. I'm not going through this again. No. Ty. No. No. You're lying. OH, YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BREAK MY ARMS. >> Stand up. >> I'm not standing up. I'm going to pee my pants. >> Stand up. No. >> That shit's late. Oh, I'm not going for this again. No. STOP. >> He did this to me before. [Music] You guys can't do this to me again. >> The suspect kept saying she needed to use the bathroom, but officers didn't allow her. She'd already been too combative, so they had no choice but to keep her cuffed. Plus, with her dog still in the hotel room, they couldn't risk letting her back in to use the bathroom. >> Okay, I can trouble him. >> Is he going to bite us? >> No. If one guy stand off to the side. >> No, he won't bite. >> Or if you lock yourself in the room. >> You guys have the handcuffs. I need to pee. Seriously. >> Don't videape us. Seriously, >> they have the right. >> No, they don't need to videape him. >> You've been yelling at everybody. >> Okay, I need to go pee. Seriously, you guys are lying. Seriously, I need to pee. They're lying. I need to go pee, you guys. I need to go pee. >> Just set the pockets. Stop. Let's get to the station and we can pee. >> So, let's get going. >> I'm going. >> I need to go pee. >> Stop. >> You guys have done this to me before. I need to go pee. >> Turn around. >> No, YOU GUYS ABANDONED IT. COME ON, TURN AROUND. >> Just do what we're asking you to do. Stop making it difficult. >> Hospital and I asked for help and you guys are doing it again. >> Nope. >> All you got to do is stand up. >> Nope. I've asked to go in the situation yourself. >> No, I'm not. You guys, >> I need to go pee. You guys are lying. >> The suspect continued to make things difficult for the officers. Suddenly, her focus shifted from needing to answer the call of nature to worrying about losing her dog. Despite being reassured that her pet was safe, >> I can't lose my dog. >> You're not going to lose your dog. [Music] >> Okay. Seriously, please. >> And you do this for a L shackle. >> Okay. I need to eat. I do not move. >> I do not want to get fed up. >> Listen to me. >> I need to go eat. You're we get Listen to me so I can tell you something about the dog. Okay. >> And we're gonna call our animal control officer. >> We'll get the dog because we have a kennel. >> Okay. >> Calm down. Let me explain to you. >> Seriously, I >> get to the station then. >> I mean, my stuff is in the bathroom. >> We can get you what you need before I >> No, you guys didn't know last time. I just need to go pee and >> we're not doing that here. >> I need to go pee. >> We're not doing that here. The drive to the station did nothing to dampen the suspect's fiery attitude. When turning the tears back on didn't work, she resorted to yelling more arguments and repeating the same bizarre excuses she'd given before and acting like she knew the law better than the cops. >> Yeah, never mind. I was asking for an extra day. I was ASKING FOR A GODDAMN EXTRA DAY AND I TOLD YOU GUYS THAT YESTERDAY. >> OH, YEAH. WELL, I TOLD YOU GUYS I NEEDED HELP FIND ANOTHER PLACE BECAUSE ALL THE EVERY GODDAMN PLACE IS SAYING, "OH, THEY CAN'T help me cuz I don't have a kids full time." >> Who is wrong? >> YEAH, EXACTLY. YOU GUYS ARE WRONG. >> How would you like if somebody came in and they took your stuff? >> We showed up. >> Yeah, you guys are lying. >> Lying. >> We showed up 14. >> ALL YOU DOING IS LYING. I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. >> SO, you had 14 extra. >> I need TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. YOU GUYS ARE GOING to make me lose my stuff. >> Yeah, you guys are lying. >> Lying. No, I didn't. Liars. >> She could call the officers liars and deny that any of this was her fault, but the video evidence said otherwise. In the end, she was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Even a vacation to the most magical place on earth can end on the wrong side of the law. It was August 2nd, 2023 when officers received a call from a Disney hotel about a guest identified as Chrysler, who refused to leave. They arrived to find her being loud and argumentative and shouting over them as they attempted to speak to the manager. >> Why are you yelling? >> Relax. BECAUSE HE'S REFUSING YELLING. >> NO, DON'T YELL AT ME. MY BROTHER'S A cop in New York. >> So, in the gym, >> I was doing a little train. I normally don't check people in, but I'm doing a little training. >> All I want to do is lay down in this WON'T LET ME STAY HERE. >> One second, MAN. >> NO, DON'T LISTEN TO HIM. JUSTIN, PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME. >> BACK UP. YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. >> You I will go to jail. >> I bet you will. >> Go yourself. Anyway, >> I don't >> It all started with a discrepancy on the reservation. >> Price line booked it for three nights. She said it was four. >> Disney made a mistake. I said I WOULD DEAL WITH IT AND HE GOT NASTY. He didn't like my answer. >> You want to trespass? >> I just wanted to leave. >> The manager finished giving his side of the story, remaining calm the whole time despite the abuse Chrysler was shouting at them. It didn't take long for the verbal harassment to escalate to threats of violence and for the situation to take a surprising turn. >> I would like to punch him in the face. >> She's trying to spit. >> He's wrong. >> I DIDN'T SPIT AT YOU. >> YOU'RE LUCKY I DIDN'T KICK YOU IN THE DON'T TOUCH ME. >> Get your hands off me. >> I'm going to put you on cuffs. >> I don't care. >> How about that? I don't care. >> Good. Now you need to leave the property. >> I can't. I HAVE NOWHERE TO GO. NO, I'M NOT. >> UNFORTUNATELY, if you're not leaving, you're going to jail. >> [ __ ] you. I'm not leaving. >> Okay, then you're going to jail. >> Don't come. >> I'M NOT A BAD OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. >> I GOT TO RUN UP MY BACK. STOP. I got to run in my back. Help me. Stop. >> I got to rot up my back. Please. >> That was That was not >> And then you hit me. Are you out of your mind? >> I GOT TO ROT UP MY BACK, PLEASE. Officers checked her wallet for an ID and found a license with the name Virginia. When asked if that was her, Chrysler simply said, "Maybe." She went back to pleading with the officers to make her more comfortable. As she brought up another medical condition of hers, >> "Please, >> please. I'M SO UPSET. I DON'T FEEL GOOD." >> All right. Can you take the cuffs OFF? I GOT TWO MORE. >> We already told you was happening. >> Okay, I get it. But I got two torn rotator cuffs, please. >> Unfortunately, you have to >> Can you tuck me in the front? I can't help. My arms hurt so bad. >> Do you want help standing up? Cuz you're going to go to the car. >> I can't get up myself. >> You need help? All right. Ready? >> Oh, no. I NEED TWO ARMS. I GOT fake knees. I'm going to rot up my back and shoot some rotator cuffs. >> Okay. >> Please put the cuffs in the front. Please. I won't do anything. Please. Please, I'll pop. >> Sir, please put the cuffs in the front. >> I HAVE TWO TO ROTATED CUFFS. I'M DYING IN PAIN. >> HEY, do you want to just pop her the car so she stops me as she is? Here, come here. I'll be >> 5 years old. Please. >> That's okay. >> Please put the CUFFS IN THE FRONT SO I CAN GET MYSELF UP. >> Pull it pretty close. >> We're going to We're going to We're going to pick you up. >> You can't. You don't know how bad my back is. >> Chrysler asked again if the officers could put her cuffs in front instead. But they explained how that would go against their protocol. This wasn't good enough for the hotheaded Karen, whose medical conditions suddenly became even worse. >> I'm so tired. I don't feel good. I just got diagnosed with cancer and a heart condition. Please. I just flew. >> She can't be hitting the police though. That's >> You're right. I'm wrong. They refuse her. >> Please just uncuff me to help me get out. >> She doing too much. It's not bad. I was hoping you would allow me to stay here tonight. >> Look, man. The the hotel asked her to leave. She doesn't want to leave. >> I have a rod up my whole back. >> Get this off without freaking just lift her up. Then we'll take it off. >> Pretty please. Can you just take I can't stand like that. >> You don't have to stand with my back. >> Good. Come on. >> Pretty please. >> This way, ma'am. >> Getting Chrysler to stand was the easy part. She walked with the officers readily enough to their vehicle, but when it came to securing her in the back seat, she made it far from easy. >> I can't believe you arrested me. It wasn't, >> sir. I'm so sorry. >> I didn't mean to. I'm so frustrated. I just wanted to go to sleep. >> To calm down. >> I just want to go to sleep. Pretty, please put the cups in front. I can't feel my arms right now. I truly look at my phone. You'll see in my medical docs. >> I have two torn rotator cuffs. It's no joke. Please, sir. Pretty, please. >> With the cuffs in front, I can't maneuver. I can't get in here with the cuffs like this. I got to hold on. >> Come, let's go. >> I can't. I have a rod up my whole back. Look at my spine. >> Use the step. >> I can't. I need to hold on. >> There's a step, >> sir. I need to hold on with the cuffs. You get in the car. >> I can't. >> Force me. >> I can't. I need your help. I'm not joking. >> Look, it's low enough. Lean back. You put your foot up there. >> It's impossible. It's >> not impossible. Lift your left foot. >> Oh my god. What part of this do you not [ __ ] understand? >> I have Are you hurting me? Stop hurting me. >> I'm barely touching you. Since Chrysler claimed she couldn't get in the car with her hands cuffed behind her, one of the officers went around to the other side and climbed across the back seat to help her from behind. >> I can't. I need to hold on. >> I'm not joking. >> Come on, man. >> I'ming handicap. My car's over there. You'll see it. >> Come on. >> Don't pull my arms. They're too short to rotator cuffs. WHY YOU BEING BASTARDS TO ME? WHY? I DON'T THINK YOU GET IT. I DON'T FUNCTION LIKE A normal person with my body. >> Almost there. You're almost there. >> I'm not almost there. >> Almost there. >> I'm dying in pain. Please take off the cuffs. >> That's not happening. You already hit me. >> Sir, I apologize. I'm so angry. >> My apology does not mean you get away scotfree. >> Can you lift up my leg? My light right leg doesn't work. You think I'm joking? I can't. >> I don't want to push the car. >> You're going to HAVE TO. I DON'T FUNCTION like a person. >> Chrysler may have been strapped into the back of the car, but that didn't stop her from running her mouth. She still had one last card to play, breaking down into tears and kicking the seat in front of her. An officer opened the door to see what the problem was. >> Oh my god, I'm having an asthma attack. I need my prevential. IT'S IN MY CAR. >> WHAT DO YOU NEED, MA'AM? I need my asthma medicine. It's in my car. >> Your pump? >> I need my pump. It's in my car. >> Sir, I need my medicine. I don't feel good. I told you that. >> I asked him not to put his hands on me. That's why I put I I hit him. He wouldn't listen. >> Thank you. >> You need an ambulance? >> No, I just need my puff. IT'S IN MY [ __ ] CAR. >> I HEARD YOU. STOP YELLING. Where are your car keys? >> They're over there, BUT I YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO FIND IT. THERE'S A 100 million things in my car. >> Okay. Well, then nothing I can do. You're going >> Sir, I need my prevental. >> I have Wait a minute. I can't do it like this. >> I'm trying to help you. >> You're really not helping me. I need my prevental. >> It is, but I I can't take it like that. I have to do it. >> It's not going to work like that. Please. I can't feel my arms anymore. Please take the the cuffs and put them in the front. Pretty please. Or cuff me to the side. I'm not going to do anything. I'm [ __ ] 65 years old. I'm a retired teacher. >> That guy was so mean to me and I overreacted. >> If Chrysler thought this latest stunt would get the officers to break protocol, she was sorely mistaken. Her cuffs were not moving to the front and that was final. No matter how many times she told them she needed to use the pump herself. >> Wait, I can't do it like this. >> It doesn't work like that. >> Wait, wait. See, you wasted it. There's hair in it. There's hair in my mouth now. Please. I'm begging. What the do you want? >> Better. You okay? >> No, I'm not. Okay. >> All right. Let me do now. >> Count to three. >> All right. One, two, three. >> Better. >> No, I need another one. And you didn't spray it enough. >> It doesn't work like this. You got to really press it hard. >> Last time. One, two, three. >> It's not enough. Are you HAPPY YOU'RE ARRESTING A [ __ ] OLD LADY? >> I'M NOT HAPPY. If you hadn't hit me and just listened, >> sir, ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS NOT PUT YOUR HANDS on me. >> All you had to do was leave the property and I went ahead. >> I was going to leave the property. >> NO, YOU WEREN'T. YOU LITERALLY SAID, "I'M not [ __ ] leaving." That's what you said. >> I was talking to Disney to try to get a room. >> You weren't. >> It's all in body cam. >> I don't care. I got hair in my mouth. Now I spit ON YOUR FLOOR CUZ I GOT HAIR IN my mouth. >> Okay, that's fine. Criminal sit back there anyway. >> Can you I'm not a criminal. I've never been arrested in my [ __ ] life. YOU MOTHER ARE YOU HAPPY? YOU [ __ ] ARE YOU HAPPY? YOU SHOULD [ __ ] ROD IN HELL. What was supposed to be a magical vacation in the happiest place on earth ended in unnecessary drama and charges that could easily have been avoided. Chrysler was taken into custody and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a law enforcement officer. If you thought the last two suspects were loud, just wait till you see the longs on the next one. On January 31st, 2025, a guest started yelling at the front desk of a hotel about the lack of towels in the pool. This went on for 10 minutes. So, the hotel cancelled her reservation and called the cops. She didn't take that kindly. >> I DIDN'T DO THAT. WHY AM I SITTING UP? GET OUT OF MY FACE. >> STOP. DON'T COME UP TO ME LIKE THAT. Don't do that. >> I CAME UP TO YOU. >> NO, DON'T DO THAT. >> I'M TRYING TO WALK AROUND YOU. >> NO, YOU'RE NOT doing that. >> I'm walking around you. >> No, you're not. Don't walk up to me like that. >> I didn't walk up. >> Get in the elevator. >> Get in the elevator. >> THAT IS WEIRD. I don't want to be here. There's not a black person inside. >> Let's go. out. >> You kicked us off because of that me. LET'S GO. >> Get off me. Get the [ __ ] OFF ME, OFFICER. GET OFF OF ME. I KNOW MY RIGHT. >> NO, YOU NEED TO GO. >> GET OFF ME. >> THIS is your last If you don't, you are going to get arrested >> BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND FOR WHAT? >> YOU HAVE BEEN told to leave numerous times. YOU HAVE TOLD ME THAT. >> YOU ARE NOT GOING TO STAND there and yell at her. >> I want to know what I did. >> You're not putting on pass. Look at the couch. YOU'RE PUTTING ME OUT WITHOUT EVEN GOING. >> WE DON'T NEED to do that. No, I DO NOT. I'M TELLING YOU DIFFERENT. >> SHE WANTS TO LEAVE. IT DOESN'T MATTER. >> IT DOES MATTER. >> That's not how this work. Does not matter. >> That's not how it work. YOU CAN'T ARREST ME. >> It didn't take long for the suspect to start calling the cops dumb and threatening to sue. A man walked in while she was yelling and informed the front desk of the reason he was wearing an ankle monitor. This led to a new accusation from the suspect. You steal ME ON AN ANGLE ON HERE. >> Who's putting you on an angle? >> Okay, I got some. >> You know what? He just committed a robber. Put your hands on me. >> Yeah, you need to go. >> You need to go. STOP. >> OKAY. Get the off. Come on. GET OFF OF ME. Get off of me. >> Let's go. Listen to me. I DIDN'T DO THAT. YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME. >> I CANNOT listen to you if you're going to yell at me the whole time. Hey, I don't EVEN STOP MY KIDS IN the hallway. NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME I got to leave. >> You have to leave. She wants that. >> SHE WANTS ME. >> SHE WANTS ME TO. THAT'S >> SHE DOESN'T NEED A REASON. >> The suspect seemed genuinely shocked that she could be told to leave without a reason and argued with the cop over whether the hotel was a private business. When that got her nowhere, she threw more accusations at the officer and used her daughter as an excuse. You don't need to leave. This is free will speech. I can act up my If my daughter is here, I don't have to leave. If my daughter is here, my kid, how many times do I need to keep telling you that my kid is here? >> You're not going. You're not going back. My kid is here. Based on how you >> My kid is here. How I reacted from the mistreatment that I'm dead. Her dad is up there. >> Her dad, >> he's going to be who no one is. >> YOU DON'T KNOW ME. YOU DON'T KNOW HER DAD. >> You're not going back. >> YOU'RE NOT EVEN NOBODY. >> That's fine. But you need to leave for the hundth time. >> For the hundth times, stop talking with me. I swear to God, zombie so racist though. That's how they have you back. IF I HEAR THAT >> the suspect finally appeared to be leaving as asked, but came back again seconds later. Apparently, she wasn't done yelling despite officers remaining calm and giving her plenty of opportunities to go. But that kind of attitude can only lead to worse outcomes. >> Don't make that out. YOU COME OUTSIDE. SHE WON'T DO THAT. COME OUTSIDE. COME OUTSIDE. >> HEY. Come outside. Come here. Come here. Right. Get the out. So, what you want to say something me too? >> YES. YOU NEED TO LEAVE. >> HERE. DON'T PUT HER HANDS ON Hey y'all. Stop. >> NO. MY DAUGHTER. THAT'S NOT HER DAD. >> THAT'S NOT HER DAD. I can't leave her. >> Just put your hands behind your back. >> You have my hair. >> Okay. >> Can you let go of my hair? >> I'm not. >> Let go of my hair. >> I don't want to. >> You're coming back with us. >> No, I'm not. >> You decide. You decided not TO WALK AWAY. >> I'M TRYING TO WALK AWAY WITH MY DAUGHTER. >> YOU DECIDED to come at us. >> Happy birthday. Please. >> Okay. Well, you could have handled a lot differently. Okay. >> LISTEN, SHUT YOUR HEAD OUT. YOU'RE HURTING ME. Then just relax your wrist. >> The lady in there. I didn't do nothing to watch the cameras. >> Relax your wrist. >> Watch the cameras. >> Yeah, >> you're not going to watch the camera. >> Perhaps the woman should have thought of her daughter's birthday before causing a scene and getting herself in deep trouble. She tried claiming she'd done nothing wrong, but it was too late to backtrack as she'd already earned herself a trip to jail. >> WHAT DID I DO? I'M TRYING TO I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. Please don't PUT ME IN CUSTODY BEFORE I GET MY DAUGHTER. PLEASE STOP. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Please stop. Okay, we're we're DONE RIGHT NOW. >> I'M DYING. I WON'T DO ANYTHING. >> PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I GOT TO CHECK ON MY DAUGHTER. >> SHE'S GRABBING US. YOUR DAUGHTER IS FINE. >> NO, THAT'S NOT MY DAD. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING TO THESE. >> YOUR MOM, YOU'RE BREAKING MY >> MOM. Your mom is up there with all the kids. They're getting ready to go. >> NO, THEY'RE NOT. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS I'M TRYING TO LEAVE. That's why I'm out here. Can I please leave? Please >> leave in cuffs now. >> Officer. >> Officer, PLEASE. THE LADY ASSAULTED ME. >> SHE VERBALLY ASSAULTED ME. >> YEAH, >> you guys, I didn't do nothing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WATCH MY CAMERAS AND YOU WILL SEE THAT. >> UNSURPRISINGLY, her behavior didn't get any better as the officers led her to their car. The reality of the situation finally seemed to be sinking in as her shouting turned to pleading. When that didn't work, she tried one final trick. >> Please, please, no. I'm sorry. >> No, we're past that. No, WE'RE NOT PAST THAT. >> We're past. >> Please >> do not catch another charge. >> Please leave me alone. >> No, she stand up. She going to stand up. Just come on. JUST STAND UP. STAND UP. STAND UP. >> PLEASE. >> SORRY. I'm sorry. >> I JUST WANTED MY BABY. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK IS SO WRONG. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. You saw me. YOU SAW ME. I SPOKE TO HER IN THE ELEVATOR. There's nothing wrong with me. Please. Please. I don't want to go to jail. >> PLEASE GET ME. PLEASE. WE'LL TALK AT THE STATION. OFFICER, >> NO. OFFICER. OFFICER. I got to CHECK ON MY BABY. >> OFFICER, PLEASE. >> Put your legs up. >> PLEASE. I GOT TO CHECK ON MY DAUGHTER. >> OFFICER, PLEASE. >> Stop kicking. >> No. >> OFFICER, LISTEN. NO. OFFICER. >> Please listen to me. >> The woman could have spent the rest of the day celebrating her daughter's birthday. Instead, she was charged with battery and resisting arrest. On May 17th, 2024, police in Ohio were called out to a hotel room for the second night running due to the occupants being extremely loud, disturbing other guests. From the moment officers arrived, it was clear the suspects were intoxicated. >> I understand. I was sleeping. And I woke up later and he was being >> sitting right there watching TV. >> Well, we've been standing outside your room for 2 minutes. You guys >> wait. You can disregard that call. Thank you. We got in contact with her. >> Do you have your room key? >> No, he does. >> No, I have something. >> What are we going to do? What's the What's the plan? >> She's She didn't call. >> That's what you told us two hours ago. >> We're leaving. >> Why don't you Why don't you call somebody to pick you up now? >> The suspects were escorted outside. The man, who had been referred to as Theodore, went quietly, but the woman kept insisting all she needed was a lighter. While the female officer supervised them, the male officer went to talk to an employee at the front desk who confirmed they wanted the suspects to leave. >> The front desk wants you to leave. You guys are done. >> I don't have a vehicle in the gym >> and I was being quiet sleeping. Can he leave or I can't sleep? >> Well, he's drunk. He's He's intoxicated. >> We dropped you off here yesterday. Um, I was there in with my parents. I'm divorced. >> Okay, that's not what I asked you. Who dropped you off at this? >> The police. >> How do you How do you plan on getting home? Because right now, she's the disturbance. You >> I am not the disturbance. >> You are. >> Cuz all he asked for was aing lighter. >> No. >> And he wouldn't even give me my lighter. >> You You woke her up. You woke the guy that had to carry all his stuff out and is leaving now. and several several other people in the hallway. >> I'm going where? Stop. Stop. >> You need to stay out here until we tell you >> how where are you going to get your stuff and where you going to go? >> I'm calling my parents and he is obviously not in my life anymore. >> Okay. So, >> because all I wanted to do is lay down and >> Where's your phone? >> It's your Are your parents going to pick you up? >> Are your parents going to pick you up? >> Are your parents going to pick you up? The woman went into a full-blown meltdown, crying and yelling that she needed to go home and sleep, and she was becoming increasingly upset with Theodore. She also repeatedly ignored the question of whether or not her parents were coming to pick her up. >> I literally need to sleep. >> Okay. Well, then you want to go back to the jail, you can sleep in our jail cell. How about that? >> Would you like, >> what do you think about that? >> No. You want to walk on me? Where are you guys walking to? You're not leaving right now. Where where are you walking to? >> Um, I literally am in the gym for a silver ride. >> What time is it? >> I would like to sleep before it was a lighter. >> You need to stop. >> Stop yelling. Stop. >> Sit there and be quiet until you can tell me who you're going to CALL FOR A RIDE. DO NOT SPEAK. MY PARENTS. And obviously, >> why don't you never talk to him again? >> Can you go in the room again? >> And we've given you three chances. >> First off, my wallet was missing, >> which you put in your freezer. >> There's two refrigerators. >> Who put their wallet in their freezer? No one. >> Um, wet money. >> That's not our issue. You caused a huge disturbance that we were here for 2 hours dealing with you yesterday. Then we were here 2 hours ago at 2:00 and now we're here back at 4:30. So this is your three strikes. So you need to figure out a way to get out of here. >> Officers were trying to figure out what belongings she actually had in her room. She claimed her whole life was in there. Yet when they asked her to name specific items, she couldn't name a single thing. She started accusing the officers of not letting her get her stuff. But when Theodore came back outside, she turned her anger back on him. >> I hate you, Ted. All I wanted was a lighter. >> Hey, stop. >> All I needed was a lighter. >> Stop. >> You did this. See your door. This is your fault. He works with me like this. >> You're acting crazy. Stop. >> He with me like this. >> Stop. >> Who wouldn't go crazy if you were with >> I don't want to look at you. >> I'm never talking to you again. >> You ruined a nice money on >> You ruined a nice evening. I hate you. >> I hate you. The officers escorted the suspects back inside to gather their things, staying calm and professional the whole time. Meanwhile, the woman wouldn't stop talking, blaming Theodore for getting them kicked out. >> And you're shooting your things as well, Theodore, cuz we're not together. >> Go. >> You ruined it. >> Go. >> All I needed was a lighter. Yeah. >> Stop talking. Any weapons in there? >> No. >> No. I just turned my pocket from what I'm aware. Put that away. >> There's nothing like you're not a criminal. And this is [ __ ] >> This is Listen to me. Stop yelling. Go. >> Why? >> She doesn't know how loud my voice is. Well, you should you later go. >> The suspects were given the opportunity to pack their belongings, but it seemed the woman was too drunk to realize just how fair the cops were being, despite the amount of problems she'd caused. Being the Karen that she is, it wasn't long before her behavior took another crazy turn. >> Back yourself up. >> Stop. I love you. Thank you. >> Back yourself up. >> Pack your stuff up. >> You need to pack your stuff. You need to get out of the space and pack yourself. >> Well, and don't you dare drink that. Put that down. >> I already got one at home. >> Do you Do you want your necklace and stuff? Do you care about any of this? Cuz once we leave, it's gone. >> Once the suspects had been escorted back outside, Theodore was taken away to be dropped at a male detox facility. The woman was offered the same option, but she still didn't seem to recognize the chances she was being given. >> You have two options. What do you want to do? >> I want to go home. >> Do you want to go to jail or do you want to go down to Akran and sleep off your sobriety? >> What do you want to do? >> Go home. >> What did I just say? What do you want to do? >> I paid for a ride. >> So, you want to go to jail? >> Where is he at? >> He's going to leave, too. So, what do you He's gone. >> Does he have a ride? >> What do you want to do? >> Why does he have a ride and I don't? >> Because I'm taking him to a different facility where males go. You are a female. It's a different facility. >> I have Do you want to go to jail? started a new job. >> We're going to go to jail. >> No. >> Turn around. Put your hands on your back. >> Please don't do this, officer. >> Then you got one more chance. Do you want to go to Akran or do you want to go to jail? >> The woman answered again that she wanted to go home. So, the female officer spelled her options out for her, highlighting the court costs that would come with jail. Eventually, the woman agreed to the detox center, but then went back to getting worked up about the lighter. It's >> over. Done. The room's gone. You have your stuff. >> I want to go home. >> That is not an option. >> Yes, it is. >> It's not >> in the morning. >> Call him and Yep. >> I've talked to him three times tonight. They do not want you at home because Rexwell removed you from their house for a domestic violence situation. >> There was no domestic violence situation. >> Their house. >> Let's go. >> I didn't do anything to their house. >> Let's go. >> I didn't do anything to their [ __ ] house. Are you going to go to the Akran facility? >> I just want out in 10 hours. >> Are you going to go to the Akran facility? >> Yeah, we're out in 10 hours. >> Are you going to be calm? >> Yeah. When I'm out in 10 hours? Yes. >> The woman went willingly into the car and was driven to the detox facility. Even though her request to make a call was denied, the officers let her have a cigarette. But that wasn't good enough for the entitled Karen. Did >> you hear what I said? >> Did you hear what I said? You're going to call that person. >> Please allow me. You're going to call that person to call one more person. >> You're going to call them up there. >> Please >> call them up there. >> Please. I will be out of your guys' here. >> Call them up there. >> Please don't do that. >> All right. Let's go. Come on. You're done. You're done smoking the cigarette. Let's go. Come on. Let's go. >> Can I get one more? Please >> go. >> Can I go? What is this like whiny baby please stuff? You're not 5 years old. Walk to the car. Go. Can I please have one more option? >> No. No. No. No. No. Please. >> No. >> When you get up there, you can call the person. >> Wow. >> The woman wasn't taking no for an answer. She didn't seem to realize the number of chances she'd already been given. And now she was asking for one too many. >> No. Don't arrest me, please. Please, please. I just was asking for an option, officer. Please >> stick your feet in the car. >> Please don't do this to me. >> It's done. You've already done. >> You tried working. >> HOW COME HE GETS TO GO HOME SCOT-FREE? >> Cuz he doesn't act like this. Due to all the hours she'd spent arguing with the cops over two nights running, the woman was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. The officers had been more than fair, but in the end, the woman had given them no options. She was taken to the local jail. On August 3rd, 2024, cops were called to deal with a woman who'd been behaving erratically since arriving at a hotel the previous day. Officers spoke with the hotel manager first to get a clearer picture of what was going on. >> All right, so we have Miss Jessica who's been with us since yesterday. She's just had a lot of erratic behavior. Yesterday, she was drinking at the rooftop, getting really intoxicated. We asked her to leave, she kept coming back three times. Um then she claimed that the guy that she's with stole $30,000 from her. I wanted immediate attention for that. Um, this morning I was walking barefoot grabbing pastries off the continental thing. So, long story short, we're going to kick her out. This morning, she was clicking the emergency button. So, I was answering it trying to figure out what happened, what the emergency is. She wouldn't answer me, which is why I called you guys. So, we're going to go see what the emergency is, and then we're going to ask her to leave. >> Do we want her out? Just >> in general, I just want her out. >> Okay. So, we're not doing a trespass. >> No, let's do a trespass. >> Let's do a trespass. At the manager's request, officers stayed back while she knocked on the door and spoke to the female guest, Jessica. It took a few moments for her to answer, but when she finally came to the door, she appeared very spaced out and didn't seem to know what was going on. >> Hello. >> Hi. You pressed the emergency button, so I wanted to come and see if you were okay. >> Oh, yeah. We're great. Thanks. >> Do you mind opening the door for me? I didn't know I pressed emergency. >> You're okay. But anytime somebody presses that, I have to enter the room. >> Button button. >> The emergency button on the phone. >> I So I had two people up here trying to help me figure out the phone's open. >> Okay. I have to enter though to make sure the room is okay and that you're okay. If the emergency button is pressed, >> I put some >> Please do. Thank you. >> Do you know if she has a car here or Uber or >> I don't know. What button is that? >> So, you press the emergency. There's a button that says emergency on the own. >> Officers followed the manager into the room, but continued to stay back while she talked to Jessica about pressing the emergency button. She also spotted another breach of hotel policy. On top of all the other problems Jessica had caused so far. >> Good morning. >> How you doing? Good. >> I'm doing better. I'm trying to get in touch with I I called emergency on my mother in Orlando. >> Oh, okay. So, you actually dialed emergency from here? >> Yeah, but they connected me to Orlando. My grandmother's in trouble. >> Oh, no. Okay. From our side, just looking around a little bit, it looks like you're smoking on the terrace, >> which we don't allow smoking in our property, so we're going to have to ask you to leave today. >> We're not going to charge you for tonight or anything like that, but we're not going to be able to keep you for another night. So, we're going to have to ask you to leave. Are we able to pack everything up within the next like 30 actually 15 20 minutes? >> Seriously? >> Yeah. I'm serious. >> We pay for a few nights. Can we just pay for this book? >> No. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. >> So, I'll step out and we'll give you guys a chance to kind of get things going. I'll get a bell cart up so we can take everything downstairs. Do you have a car with us? >> What? >> Do you have a vehicle with us? We have a card and a boot step on. >> Okay. We'll get those ready on the ramp for you then. Do you need help packing up? >> No. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. I'll just be right outside. You're welcome. >> The officers stood by the doorway to make sure the guests packed up and were ready to leave within the 15 to 20 minutes the manager had granted them. Unfortunately, Jessica wasn't having it. She acted like she was the one calling all the shots. >> You can leave now. You're not going to watch me dress and all that. >> Go outside. >> Yeah, we'll step outside and you can put something on, but then we're going to come and make sure that everything gets packed up and >> we'll go while we paid for our room today, >> right? So, >> go outside. >> You're going to pack because we're going to leave. >> But you're going to step outside. You're not going to be here while >> Right. Well, we she she'll get here so she can she can watch you put a shirt on. Listen, ma'am, let me let me explain something. >> Watch any of this. >> Let me explain something. Okay. You're being removed. You're going to be trespassed. >> I understand. You're going to wait outside while that happens. We have 30 minutes. All we did was smoke outside. Give me a >> going to be trespassed from the property. >> If we don't get out in 30 minutes, get the outside. >> First of all, >> you don't have any right to tell me what to do in my room that I paid for. >> As the male guest had yet to get out of bed and she was clearly intoxicated, officers couldn't trust them to pack up and leave as asked. They again explained to her that they needed to make sure she gathered up her belongings. However, she still acted like paying for the room somehow put her above the law. >> You have no business being involved in our property. So you guys >> Yeah, we can do that. But you wait outside while we do that. >> No, not going to happen. >> We're not doing that. >> This is my room. I paid for it. >> Are you going to Are you going to give me my money back? She already said that they're not going to charge you for the night. >> Are you going to charge me for the day that you're >> Sir Do you have an ID? >> No. >> Not anything for today. >> Why? >> Because we smoked on the patio. We have to deal with all this. >> I called the police on my grandmother who is being abused by my mother in Orlando >> in a completely different city. >> Acting up. >> Packing up. Let's start packing up. outside while I pack outside. >> You have no business being in here. >> Just put a shirt on and let's keep moving. Okay. >> You have no business. I would like you to >> We're not leaving. I know that's what you would like to happen, but that's not what's going to happen. >> Absolutely. >> Officers warned Jessica what would happen if she didn't start cooperating, but she continued to argue. It seemed like her sense of entitlement knew no bounds. >> If you don't start packing up and leaving now, I'll put you in handcuffs. No business being in my room. >> I will put you in handcuffs and I will take you to the county jail. >> You have no business being in my room for trespass after warning. Do you understand? >> Get the out of my room. >> You want to go to jail? Get out of my room. >> Last chance. >> You have no business. >> Start packing your belongings. >> I paid for this room. >> Start packing your >> Are you refusing to pack your belongings in? >> No, I asked you to wait outside. >> Can I explain that? That's not happening. Are you refusing to pack your things? me. You guys are the biggest I've ever met in my goddamn life. We actually like it. We paid for it to be. >> You're not paid to be here. >> Actually, that's going to be here. >> You're not even allowed to be here right now. >> This is highly illegal. >> It must have come as a relief that the male guest was being much more cooperative. He identified himself as Ryan and freely answered the officers when they also asked for his last name and how to spell it. But then Jessica had other ideas. >> You don't have to do anything in this room. Come here right now. >> Go put your shirt on. >> Come here. >> Ryan. >> Ryan. >> Please listen to us. >> In here not do anything that goddamn say. >> How much longer are we going to do? handcuffs. >> I'm ready to be ready. >> I'm ready. >> Well, that's what I was hoping was going to happen. >> Well, she took that off to put something else. >> Oh, Jesus. >> I can hear you whispering. >> And I know my rights >> and I'm explaining them to my friend. Do not answer one goddamn >> She's back. >> Our lawyer will answer every question you possibly have. >> Awesome. >> Cool. Do not answer a goddamn question you're asking. Nothing better to do with the time. Would you mind helping me with the suitcase or Mike? Uh, Michael O'Brien. >> Ryan. >> It's Ryan. >> Sorry. Yeah. I guess I might have been getting charged. >> After realizing that she might be facing criminal charges, Jessica should have been more willing to cooperate and avoid getting herself into more trouble. But instead, she wanted to light up a cigarette and tried claiming she'd done nothing wrong. >> I just tried to save my 90-year-old grandma from getting her feet. That's all I did. >> She's got her. >> I don't think the phone's cordless, so I don't I don't think that's how it works. >> It is actually cordless. That's how it works. >> It's 2024. What the And we didn't do a goddamn thing wrong. And you're in my room and you have no business. >> It's a room I rented. So it's my room right now. >> I paid for it. So it is right there. >> You can stay right there. >> Jessica then claimed she was on YouTube. She said the hotel had just opened and would soon be getting closed, implying that she had enough influence to force them to stop operating. But then her tales grew even taller, and her behavior became truly bizarre. >> Yeah, cuz we're from LA. And guess what? I am >> an investigative reporter. >> Congratulations. >> Yep. Do you or me? >> Would you like some cratom? Have you ever tried that? >> No, thank you. >> Sure. Yes. >> It's an illegal >> opium. Smell it. >> Dude, it's a joke. >> Stop. >> Come on now. It's a joke. >> You're going to jail. You're done. >> Spray me with that. >> I don't know what that is. >> Really? It's a powder. >> Doesn't matter. You're going to jail. >> Herb that heals. >> Yeah. You're done. >> Creepy intoxicated. I don't need that. >> You could be healed in jail. >> Hard as it might be to believe, Jessica seemed genuinely confused as to why she'd now been arrested. She claimed she'd bought the cratom at a gas station in Sarasota, even though it's illegal there. Unsurprisingly, the officers didn't believe her. >> It was a joke. >> It's That's not funny. Okay. Does anyone laughing? You're not even laughing. >> Why are you in my hotel room? >> Put your shoes on. We're going. I paid $250. >> I don't care how much you paid. You're going >> Are you good with good with MLT if we take her down? >> Yeah. >> All right. Come on. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. >> What am I going to? >> I already told you. >> Oh, you're all calm and you want to talk like a normal person now, right? Now that you're in handcuffs, right? But before when you're thrown around you >> because I was in my own hotel room that I paid a lot. >> I've never paid that much money for a hotel room. >> You probably shouldn't have. >> Jessica continued to argue even after being seated in the back of the police officer squad car. She could feel entitled to her expensive hotel room all she wanted, but her antics still earned her a trespassing charge. Officers need plenty of patience in their line of work, but when entitled Kairens repeatedly refuse to leave their hotel rooms, it's not going to end well.
