modern self checkout system is become almost the perfect Target for shoplifters but they also have terrific theft prevention systems so shoplifting there is actually one of the stupidest things you can do yet people still do it so join me as we meet the stupid people who got arrested at Target me wow I'm only 13 years old you can't do this my as we often do here on the hidden files we start off with a bang what looked like a normal day at Target was about to change theft prevention officers spotted a young woman shoplifting they quickly called the cops when the officers approached the suspect she looked very nervous yeah I mean you have an issue with the scanning machine no I had I went to the regular register and she scanned me out with the regular register okay I didn't have an issue she fixed it for me who'd you come with why does that matter because there's two of you guys that's why yeah cuz she came and brought me the rest of the money yeah so who' you come with that way we she brought me the rest of the money do you want to come talk to the lady that checked me out no I want you to answer my question let's go talk to the lady that checked me out please cuz I didn't we'll get there I just literally had to go to the second register and she helped me with the second register who' you come with like the person helped me at the regular register who get there who you why does that matter because you need to answer my question so it's my friend she has to go to her kids today it's her kids birthday today that's the reason why I came here do you want can we come talk to the register cuz she's literally just help me through the register I don't want see what the problem is all right so you can walk with this officer we're going to go back in the store I'm going to grab your shopping cart cool what we're going to go talk and figure it out SC everything and pay for everything she's trying to hide something she insisted on talking to the employee at the register probably hoping the cops would let her go once it was confirmed she paid for her stuff however the cops already knew she actually used two registers to cover her tracks excuse me yeah she paid she paid for every okay we got to talk to somebody over here and then we'll get things sorted out which one she didn't um pretty much so the vacuum the Legos um this and this stuff in here I have to go to two different registers I know you did I was watching you the whole time it's okay so there one what's the problem you didn't pay what do you mean I didn't pay yeah so gift pack is probably going to be these uh the water at the bottom and then wers shop is going to be this bag yep and the one she didn't pay for is all these this bath mat D I got the Legos at the first one I got the Legos at the first register no you yes I did and she finished helping me scare me out at that point the officer asked her where the second receipt was conveniently enough for her she doesn't have it the moment the officer's tell her to go in the office and sort things out she refuses and grabs her bag and then of course all hell breaks loose I'm not going in there yo can I have to St I'm not going in do you think she's really only 13 Even if she was imagine if police didn't have the authority to restrain 13-year-olds without the parents permission in real life 13 years old or not she's getting Tacoma she literally has to go pick up her kids that are like little kids the next step for the officers is to check the amount that was stolen while they're doing that they also need to investigate who that other person was that came in with the suspect and if she was involved as well the officers find her out in the parking lot and they start asking questions hello did you come with uh my friend friend yeah okay all right you're not in trouble but obviously um she's in trouble I mean I guess she sh but um what is her name um I don't answer questions sorry okay need your identification cuz you actually went in there hey and you guys both came together huh I went to theore I'm not asking if you went in the store I'm asking if you guys both came together so there's my driver's license it's a yes or no I don't cameras there's fine and that's fine you can see on camera then that you are so being uncooperative right now why is that I'm trying to be cool with you but you giving me a and offering to pay for the stuff she took just in doing that she practically admitted to stealing this might have ended up with just a slap on the wrist but now that she ran she was taken to the cop car and searched as it turned out this little girl was guilty of more than just shoplifting ja nobody even said you're going to jail cut the stand right there and spread your feet spread your feet he said I can be and I'll be hello I'm Sergeant Munos we're going to get you out and we're going to take you pictures real quick okay so we've already had one incident we don't want another okay thank you I appreciate you let's keep itad searching through her bag the officers found something wrapped in tinf foil presumably fenel she was arrested and charged with shoplifting Escape or attempt to escape from a peace officer possession of a controlled substance and resisting evading or obstructing an officer when young people get arrested we often wonder about their parents in this next story we might get an answer because these folks went shoplifting with their baby okay do do you have anything that's targets do you have anything that's targets no I have this is Target loss prevention charges right now for I know what I assuming felony order violation right probably I don't know what he has how many the uh they're chasing them right now once the trespass had been issued the woman was released in the meantime other units were pursuing DeAndre on a side note I don't know about you but I always find it funny when cops have to run after someone wearing all that clickey clack gear real quick okay thanks guys while on the way to Jail the officer brought up the felony charges at that point DeAndre started getting worked up again but the officer managed to C him down he even had some sobering words of advice for the man what's the word for we have a couple what yeah you got you got a couple they got a felony I have a what felony warrant what do you mean for what dude just chill the out like quit it like put your attitude with it you get all like hyped up man it's start to piss me up before that's why I'm saying I'm sorry okay well it is four looking you got like a few stopped today because you guys tried to steal from Target right if you never stole then yeah right then but none of this would ever happened or even if you you stole a loan right without her then you not one but three suspects this is the moment the officers arrive at the scene and try to round them up 104 he's got a bunch of merchand come here come here hey the white car back there is where their vehicles the officers decided to search their car thankfully they didn't find anything more still all three suspects were charged with felony theft contrary to what you might think not all crimes at Target involve shoplifting some people just get drunk and decide to have a joy ride in the parking lot like our next suspect what are you doing out there anything good concert concert gotta I was just
