But when officers arrived, what they uncovered made the case anything but simple. >> I asked them not to come. I asked them not to come. >> Well, it's too late for that. >> Who the lady on the dispatcher? I asked her specifically not to come. And I was hesitant to give her my address. Specifically, no. Cuz I'm mad. I'm mad now. So, can you please? >> No. >> But here's the thing. Who Who's inside? Cuz you advised they were hitting you. Correct. >> We were fighting. We were fighting. I hit him also. >> Okay. So, what I'll have you do is come out here with me, >> ma'am. >> No. Yeah, but it's not an option at this point when you just said that you're hitting each other. So, that it's not an option at this point. So, if you want to come out to talk to us so we can get it figured out. >> So, what are the other options? >> Well, it depends on what's going on. That's what we have to figure out. >> Nothing's going the same. So, there is something going on cuz we could Well, the reason I knew where to come. >> Well, the reason I knew where to come is cuz I could hear you guys arguing out here. >> I'm sure cuz I don't have my >> Yeah. So, they didn't give us the exact address, but we had to figure it out. So, now we got to figure out while we're here what's going on. So, I get it. You're upset. Whoever else is inside is upset. >> Why you're here? Cuz I asked them not to come. >> But you called, right? >> To prove a point. >> Well, it's domestic. And I said and I said I wanted to cancel I wanted to cancel. >> Okay. But it's too late for that. So when it comes to domestic, >> why was it why is it too late now after I said I can't leave? Because what you told them on the phone and what you just told us that you both hit each other. So now it's domestic. It's not an option. >> Well, I'm right here. >> Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> Uh yeah. >> Don't Well, don't go back inside. So come out here. That's fine. Come out here with me. >> I'm I'm right here. >> Who's inside? >> Who's inside? >> My boyfriend. >> Okay. So we need to talk to him. So we want you guys separated right now so you guys aren't fighting while we're here. >> The fighting was about to be over. That That's why he could leave. >> So, can we let him leave? >> We're going to talk to you guys first so we can determine that. So, I'm going to have you walk over here with me so he can talk to your boyfriend. No, you're not going inside. >> I'm getting him. >> No, that's fine. You walk out here >> with me. >> Come right here. >> Hey, >> how's it going, boss? Okay. >> We were just having an argument. >> All right. What happened to your nose right there? >> Oh, that I was born with that bell thing. >> Okay. So, >> yeah, we were just having an argument, man. and she she just gets angry and I'm sorry she apologize. >> Okay. So, what run me through what happened cuz >> thing is I was I was trying to grab my stuff and go and she didn't want me to. >> It didn't it didn't get physical like that. >> Okay. >> She just she just was upset and we're just having >> Okay. So, what do you think she meant by physical? Was she like stopping you from leaving or what? What do you think? >> No, no, no. It it didn't get physical like that. She she was just she just gets iate and she gets very horrible. >> Okay. >> I mean, as you can see, >> but um I mean, it didn't it didn't even go that far. She just was getting very upset because I wasn't just It just wasn't. >> Mhm. And you're trying to leave. >> I was going to stay. >> Well, at this point, I mean, it sounds like you guys need to split up. >> I mean, I'll leave right for now if that's the case. But >> yeah, >> I mean, I was going to, but um she didn't want me to. >> Okay. Well, just uh hold tight for a minute. There's no weapons in the house, right? No firearms or anything. Just kitchen knives. Okay, cool. Just hold still for here for a minute. Okay. For me, boss. >> No, definitely not. It'll keep you guys split right now. If you could just stay right there. >> Is he okay? >> Yeah, we'll we'll do it. >> Come right over here with me. >> Right here. >> So, what's going on? You guys are just arguing >> and I want him to understand to just own up to some. It's an argument. We do this every other day. You can ask the neighbor. I'm sure he hears us yelling, too. It doesn't have to be that big of a deal. He found his keys. He's about to leave. That's it. >> Okay. So, that's all. >> Here's here's the thing. Now, you just admitted that you guys hit each other. The phone number you called from is your phone number, right? >> Uh, yeah. >> So, obviously something happened that made you want to call, correct? So, what exactly? What happened that made you want to call? >> Um, OPD. >> He faked his own police call and was talking about he was waiting for some cops. >> When now? >> Uh, earlier >> before you called 1029 P name, date of birth. Okay. But after I make my call, I realize that his [ __ ] was fake. Which why would you even want to do that? Like either you want to do this because you don't want to be here and you can like we can break up and we can go or you can actually do this because you're that upset. But don't fake this to try to prove a point. >> So So tell me what happened as you were calling. >> Nothing. He was standing there. He was he was looking for his keys. He was looking for his keys so that he could leave and I was giving him, you know, like keep playing with me. just leave or we can we can work this [ __ ] out. >> Get into it. Hitting each other. So, what exactly happened with that? >> Got too close. >> Like you guys both hit each other, push each other like explain. >> Yeah, I was just pushing. I just start it just started with pushing and grabbing >> like like you >> Yeah, pushing and grabbing. >> Okay. But you grabbed him, he grabbed you. >> Yes, we were both pushing and grabbing each other all over the body. Just like arms, whatever. Just around the waist, whatever. It was more or less just wrestling. You could you can call it wrestling. She's saying they just pushed each other more grabbing each other cuz they were too close like trying to get away. But >> of us just like breath. >> He's saying that it was all just verbal. >> Can you tend on your last transmission? I didn't hear. >> But a guy is a guy on and >> so does he >> I scratched him all over his stomach. There are scratches cuz I was grabbing him wrestling. >> Okay. >> So who put hands on who first? >> Can you can you have breakfast? >> Can you have him come out so she can grab her ID? So, does he have more? >> I wish it was for both. That's the problem. I I scratched him on his stomach >> today. Like during this? >> Yeah. Okay. >> This isn't like, you know, >> you guys both lived here, like both on the lease or how does that work? Or is it just yours or just his? >> He He's staying with me. But when this lease was over, we were going to >> But you guys are both on it right now. Who's just on it right now? Just you. >> Okay. All right. >> And I don't mind. You want to stay here? >> Well, hold on a second cuz I want you >> I'm not going anywhere. >> I want you to get your ID. I just want to >> No, I understand. But you want to come out first? I'm just pacing. >> Stay right here. >> I'm I'm pacing, ma'am. I'm not going anywhere. I'm pacing. >> We're going to go inside real quick. Grab your ID. >> It's just like this. >> I'm not going anywhere. >> No, I know. I just want to be separated between you guys right now cuz you're arguing. >> I I it it's fine. Nobody's going to do anything to each other. >> Is the policy. There is no issue. Just work the [ __ ] out. It's not that [ __ ] hard. I'm sorry. I have OCD. I need to get this taken care of. I don't want this. Can I step outside, please? I don't want bugs in my house. >> Just stay right here. >> Can I close the door? >> You can step right here. >> That's what I That's what I was asking. >> I'm sitting down. >> That's fine. So, she's saying they both pushed each other during this to get away from each other. >> He's saying it's just all verbal, but you said you did scratch him, right? >> I'm not saying anything anymore. Okay. >> I want this [ __ ] to be over with. >> I get that. The sooner we figure it out. >> I guess that's on him then. >> Yeah. I love you, too. That's why you just have to own up to your >> Let them Let them figure it out. Well, here's >> act like children. It becomes serious. So, I mean, we got to we got to figure this out. >> She's already admitted when I first got here that she scratched him. So, so at this point, but I was just verifying with Marley that he had marks before I seen her, but he does. >> And she said she >> when I first got here, she said that. Now, she's saying she's not saying anything. So, >> but she said that and you got that on body camera. >> Yeah. Okay. >> So, >> all right. What it is. >> I'm just trying to verify if he has anything. If they're both being 10:15. >> Well, if they're both saying nothing or he didn't do anything, if she said, "Yeah, I scratched him." Go ahead and stand up for me. >> So, >> are you gonna take me? >> Yes. Okay. >> Because you you admitted to me that you scratched me. >> It's fine. It's fine. But I don't because you guys are doing good. >> I could care if I have an opportunity to do something, but if you take me away, then there's nothing to care about. >> Baby, relax. >> Come on. >> Not how you win today. >> I said everything was fine. Yeah. Not anymore. Yeah, I am. This is where I am. >> I know. I got to search you. Just make sure you don't have anything that's going to poke me, anything like that in your pockets, right? >> No. >> Okay. I was seeing. >> She called us out here. She even said there was physical. She came out. She said she caused those scratches. I know you're saying that's not >> She thinks she did, bro. Like, she I swear. >> She's saying she did. She's saying she did. Put myself in the same shoes, man. I don't want to see my wife go down either. All right. I would I would not want to get that far. I get it. You could call the state. You can have you can talk with the state attorneys about the other side of this, but we are not allowed on our part to overlook clear evidence of of she's going to have to go see a judge and the judge is going to going to figure it out from there. All right. It it's our hands are tied. You got to understand if it's it's not a discretion thing on our side. If it was a little bit of weed, we you know, we do like that. >> I was just going to leave though. It was all just if it was legit just verbal. >> It was verbal. It was >> I'm sure it was very verbal. And I'm sure that verbal went physical. And I could tell the way she's hot in the trot that she probably, you know, it it is what she said it was when she first got up here that she caused those scratches. I'm sure that's accurate. >> She she >> clearly you have a very volatile relationship together. And maybe there needs to be some kind of discussion as to how that relationship. >> Jasmine was arrested and transported to the county jail. She was charged with battery.
