I'm going to get me the earth and the moon and the stars. They said I can call the police. But all I have to do is go to the bathroom. I'm trying to fight 10 pounds. You would be able to say it, too. I'm I want to see a supervisor. You You can't take me one. Oh my god, please. You're probably going to jail today. We've all witnessed a Karen in public, yelling at her kids, bothering servers about their food taking too long, and pestering employees if they don't get their way. If they're that insufferable with regular people, imagine how they act when law enforcement gets involved. Here are seven times psycho supermarket Karens have public meltdowns. Heather, I don't want to >> No. Excuse me. Heather, don't start. Stop. On February 9th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a grocery store. A known serial shoplifter had returned to the store to steal after being previously trespassed. When the officer arrived, she quickly found the suspect, Heather, inside the store. Heather, come on, let's go. What happened? What do you mean, what happened? You know you're not supposed to be here. You saw me come back in. I Don't start. I bought soda. No. You're trespassed. They don't want you here. You're out there soliciting, asking for money. No, I was coming to buy a soda. Come on, Heather. >> I swear. Come on, let's go. >> I swear like I can't. Let's go. I can't. Heather, they don't want you here. Heather, there's We're going to step outside. Come on. Heather, don't start, Heather, please. Heather, let's go outside. Can I get your boss? You want to You You have the trespass card? Get away from me. And do you want to press charges? Okay. Get away from me. Let's go outside, Heather. Get away from me. Heather, please go outside. I'm not doing anything wrong. No. Heather, you're trespassed. >> doing anything wrong. Yes, you are. You're trespassed. This is a business. Yeah. Thank you, ma'am. This is a business, and they can refuse service and trespass you when they want. Yeah, and they want to press charges, so No, I'm just leaving. No, you're not free to go. Yes, I am. They just said You're not free to go. This back and forth continued with the officer following Heather around the store and begging her just to walk outside with her. Unsurprisingly, the female suspect refused to listen to the officer. So, it didn't take long before the situation escalated. Heather, I don't want to No. Excuse me. Heather, don't start. STOP. HEATHER, COME ON, HEATHER. GET AWAY from me. Heather, get away from me. Get down, Heather. >> No. Heather, stop. Heather, stop. >> Stop. I'm not doing anything wrong. No. I'm not doing anything wrong. Heather, stop. Can you just hold her right there? >> I'm not doing anything wrong. No. I'm not doing anything wrong. It became clear to the officer that she was not going to be able to detain Heather alone. While some of the butchers from the meat department stopped by to help, they could only stay away from the counter for so long. Soon enough, backup arrived to help the officer. There you go, sir. Turn her around. >> Heather, turn around. Get Get her feet. >> anything wrong. Get her feet. I got her. And then we'll start turning her. >> doing anything wrong. We'll turn her to the left. No. To the left. No, I'm not doing anything wrong. Heather, turn. I'm not doing anything wrong. No. Start turning. No. Heather, start turning. >> No. Heather, come on. No. I am not doing anything wrong. >> Heather, come on. No. There you go, Heather. I'm not doing anything wrong. Now Yeah, I got her. There you go. I'm not doing anything wrong. All right, ready? Let's sit you up. What? We're going to sit you up. Okay. Stand up. One, two, three. Okay. Get her up. What? Yeah, so All right, there you go, Crew. Heather was escorted to the squad unit. She continued her rhetoric of her not doing anything wrong and claimed she did not know she was trespassed from the store. However, being issued a trespass notice should not be that easy to forget. Her feigned ignorance would not get her very far. You're going to sit in the unit, is where you're going to go. Why? I did not do anything wrong. Just sit down. Okay, have a seat. Just sit down like right there? Sit inside. Sit inside. I did not do anything wrong. Just put your feet inside, Heather. You said just to sit. Put your feet inside. >> just to sit. Crew, please. >> I I've always been respectful to you. Just sit down. >> What do I do? You've been trespassed from here. I asked you, let's just go outside to talk so I can do what we have to do. >> Then let's do that. That's what we did. No, you ran. >> This is what You ran, Heather. >> Put your feet inside. What do we >> We'll talk about that right now. Can Can Can you sit right 1 second, okay? I'll talk to you in a second, okay? Thank you. The female officer did her best to remain respectful with Heather, even though she caused a huge scene in a public place. She made a good effort to get the suspect to sit in the car, but the male officer was ultimately the one who convinced her. I don't even know what at this point cuz Was it use of force? No, cuz like I was just like jogging. I was like, "Crew, stop." So, we're jogging around the Albertsons. People were seeing her run, so like they kind of like started They bumped her. The citizen bumped her. Then I was able to just grab her. And then the guy from the meats helped me put her on the floor. And we're on the floor from there. I was just like, "Okay, guys." Like that's when you came. And I was just like, "Okay." on top of her, but it wasn't like a Yeah, when I started they just use a wrist lock. Get her in handcuffs. I mean, you see if she's injured. If she's claiming injury, then we'll have to do a use of force, no matter what. Well, first, I have a quick question, Heather. Are you hurting in any way? Does anything hurt? No. Does anything bother you? No. No? No. Okay. You want to go sit in it? I mean, she's not complaining. It wasn't really like I didn't hit her. I didn't punch her or nothing. Just on top until you guys arrived. We're just maintaining control on top. All right. For context, the officers were debating whether or not the officers technically used force on the suspect. Since Heather did not claim to be in any pain, they could rule out use of force. Hey, miss. So, the reason why you got placed in handcuffs today is because um I don't know you've been trespassed from here, okay? Um store manager, um she provided me a trespass card with your information, and you have been advised that you've been trespassed from here, okay? So, that's why That's I just I want you to know that's why you're in cuffs today, okay? That's That's why we're here right now, okay? What's that? What happened? The officer searched Heather for contraband, placed her into a different car for transport, and took her to jail. The female suspect was arrested and presumably charged with resisting arrest and trespassing, although her final charges are unclear. On the evening of June 21st, 2023, officers in Ohio were dispatched to a local grocery store whose management reported a woman allegedly concealing items while walking around the store, and they suspected she would try to shoplift. I want my phone and stuff, and they took >> Okay, come over here. No, I didn't do nothing wrong. Come over here. anything. I want my belongings. They won't let me pay for my stuff without my belongings. They have my phone and stuff. That's not fair. I didn't do nothing wrong. It's in the cart. With the It's got the phone box and everything with the phone jack. What you I don't even know what the name of it is, but it's brand new. And my blanket and my damn um It's a raincoat, my dad's raincoat for his motorcycle. Now, that That's all That's not fair. I'm not I'm not stealing anything. I'm not I didn't even make it to the register. Okay. One of you want to probably go and get this stuff for him so Why stay out here while she goes in there? I'm not giving anybody my name or nothing. I didn't do nothing wrong. Hey, well, if you want us to help you Correct. How am I obstructing? Did we tell you to stop? I stopped. >> you to stop? Okay. I want to speak to your supervisor. No, I'm not going to be done this way. I was trying to pay for my stuff and they took my card. Yes, there is. information If you do not provide your information, you're getting arrested. Have a seat on here. Right here. Right Right there. Have a seat. Right there, where I'm pointing, if you look. Sit down. What's your name? Sarah Sarah, I can't sit on that. Sarah I want a supervisor. >> Okay. What is uh your date of birth? I want a supervisor, please. >> Supervisor, sign up. I don't care. I want one. You have to give me one. By this point, the officers knew that this woman was going to be a piece of work. Despite her entitled attitude, the officers were able to piece together that she felt she had done nothing wrong, since she apparently didn't even make it to the cash register. When they asked her what happened, she became defensive and started spouting lies to the officers. But I don't I don't know everything. I'm trying to buy some tampons. You would be upset, too. I'm I want a supervisor. You You have to give me one. You got Huh? You have body cams? Yeah, right here. They're on. Okay, just making sure. They They took my belongings back. That's the thing. They took my belongings and I've asked a different different hair color woman for an hour for my stuff back. I get what? I am This is not even fair. Not even fair. This is not fair. My house just burned down and I'm not going to be treated like this. I'm trying to buy stuff for it. I'm tired. I've worked all day and I'll be getting that they're going to steal my stuff and I get in trouble for it. I want a supervisor. I didn't do nothing wrong. >> No. I didn't do nothing wrong. How are you guys going to INVESTIGATE A THEFT WHEN I They didn't even They took my belongings. How is that fair? We're investigating it now. The female suspect was full of excuses, including one that was almost certainly a lie. Her house had just burned down. The officers could do nothing but sit and tolerate her temper tantrum. However, one manager had a different take on what really happened with the woman. I'm another manager here. Yeah. I think it's part of the fill up carts. Yeah. And then the Sunday everyone Really? I was told she took her phone. Okay. She stole some carts without her knowledge and she was running around looking for them. And stuff has been disappearing. She has been? Yeah. So, I don't I don't know everything. This is like from what I've heard, this is weird. Like we don't normally call you the way we did. So, then I don't know what she did and called you the way we did. For stealing carts? Okay. So, but I don't Unless there's something I don't know or something. >> Okay. I mean Yeah, I don't know. That's just I don't know I just want to let you know you might be I don't know if this is Okay. I just That's my That's my side of things. I'm going to investigate it first, so Yeah, I know 100%. I'm just I'm just letting you know what I'm at. I'm about I want my stuff. Okay. We told you how this goes already. >> told you I told you guys I didn't do nothing wrong. I never left the store. I never even made it to check out. I never once looked like I was stealing. I left the cart sitting and I walked off and got the rest of my stuff and came back and was trying to pay for it and they wouldn't give me my belongings. >> Okay. So, that's how this That's how they did I know my rights. I'm not I'm not a dummy. An officer returned from inside the store to confront the suspect about items she took. The female suspect once again tried to come up with excuses for her actions. When the employee came back with her belongings, her reaction was shocking. Did you drive here with somebody? No, I'm on the bus. But they have Why are you trying to go to the back door of the I was not. I was buying a flower. I bought a rose bush. Tomorrow's my mom's birthday. So, look, tomorrow I I didn't even take the cart outside. I've got a rose bush from there. That woman came out there and told me that I couldn't couldn't be out there. Hey, where are you going? No, you're not. Why? What What did I do? Please tell me what I've done wrong. Please. Please tell me what I did wrong. What? I didn't do nothing wrong. I didn't push no cart outside. I went out there and bought a rose bush for my mother. When the employee returned the suspect's belongings, the bag did not contain a wallet, which the suspect claimed contained her ID. With no wallet, the officers were even more suspicious of how she would pay for the items. And they even wondered how she would transport her cart full of items home. How did you get here? A bus. A bus? Yes. How are you going to take all that stuff On the bus? Take all that stuff You can take whatever you want on the bus. I don't I'm It's like literally two full carts. There's not two full carts. There's one and a half. So, there's four like eight boxes of donuts in the bottom of the cart. Okay. It's like literally two full carts. I know. How are you going to take all of that by yourself on the on the bus? I do all the time. Where Where is the bus over there? The bus comes right out there. Where are you staying? Where am I staying? I'm at my father's house when I'm here. Where's that? I want a supervisor. I didn't do nothing wrong. We told you you're not getting one. >> do nothing wrong. Hey, you have to tell us where you're staying. I have to You need to be charged. Yeah. What are you doing up here from Homewood Place? This is where the bus broke and I'm not from here. Is this far? Yeah, it's pretty far. Since she technically didn't steal anything, the officers informed her that the store was not going to press charges, but they were going to trespass her from the store. Then the officers found a picture of the suspect in the database based on the personal information she gave. But it did not look like her. Let me see your picture you're looking at. That's you? I have gained this much weight. That's not you? Is it not you? I have got 80 lbs on me. Where'd your mole go? What mole? Oh, it was removed by a doctor. Oh, you got it removed? Yes. Turn around, put your hands behind your back. We're done playing games. Are you serious? Yeah. No, I No, I did not do nothing. That is me. Look. Look, there's a store there. Drop your cigarette. I'm not. I want to SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. OKAY. I'm going to ask you again and then I'm going to force you. Drop the cigarette. I didn't do nothing wrong. Drop what's in your hand. They're They're They're trying TO SAY I WAS STEALING AND THEN NOW THEY'RE HARASSING ME. WHEN YOU I'M I'll have all your guys' jobs. Every single one of y'all. Every single one of y'all. I've got Turn around. I'M NOT. I DIDN'T DO NOTHING WRONG. I MEAN, IF SOMEBODY needs help, you could have asked somebody to buy it for you. That's not A LEGAL I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. THAT'S THE THING. Uh excuse you. My chest is hurting. I need to go to the hospital. Here we go. I need to go to the hospital. I My chest is hurting. I have four girlfriends, too, by the way. I need to go to the hospital. The woman reluctantly allowed the officers to detain her in handcuffs. She claimed she needed to go to the hospital. This is a common tactic amongst criminals to evade arrest. And based on their reaction, it seemed like the officers already expected it. >> Do you have any No. How do you have gloves on you? Mine are out. Uh no, put them Gloves? Now you're going to get me all dirty. I didn't say you're dirty. I just don't pat down anybody without gloves. You're hurting me. No, I'm not. I don't want to be touched by you. I'm not going No, I need to go to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. You guys I need to go to the hospital. You can stay on the ground. That's better. >> I need to go to the hospital. >> Okay. It's all dramatic. I guess we can tag on resisting. I'm not resisting. I I didn't do nothing wrong. I need to go to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. Roll over. No, I need to GO TO THE HOSPITAL. WE HAVE TO LIFT you up. You're going to get hurt. >> No, I'm not. I need to go TO THE HOSPITAL. OKAY. Are you choking me right now? I need to go to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. I need to go to the hospital. You're hurting me. I need to go to the hospital. I'm pregnant and I need to go to the hospital. Despite her earlier claims of being on her period, the female suspect claimed she was pregnant. That obviously didn't make sense, so the officers were even more convinced that she was just delaying her arrest. Regardless, they took her to the hospital as requested. Look, I know a lot of people. Like big people. What are you trying to say? Like I will help you if you help me. Okay. It It's not going to get you out of going to jail. It might help you with your charges. If you want to talk to someone. I don't want to go to jail tonight. Anyway, Butler County's going to want you on their wall. No, Butler County doesn't. And Butler County will come pick me up. Please. Okay. The suspect was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, falsification for lying about her identity, and obstructing official business. When she was taken to the hospital, she tried to flee. So, the officers put her in a hobble and transported her to jail. We all know not to leave babies in a hot car, but pets should be included in that as well. On the afternoon of July 15th, 2025, officers from the Sylvania Township Police Department responded to a Walmart store outside of Toledo. They were called for a simple animal welfare check as several animals have been left inside a hot car on a summer day. water for the dog, please. Thank you. After confirming the presence of the animals, the officer returned to her squad car and ran the license plate number of the car. After retrieving the name of the owner, she went inside the store. The officer approached the Walmart Customer Care Center to see if they could page the suspect. Hi. Can Are you able to say a name over the PA to have them come here? Do you have a Charles here? Come up here. Charles Attention Walmart shoppers. Can I have Charles to the front? Charles to the front. Thank you. Unsurprisingly, the suspect did not present himself. The officer returned to the suspect's car where backup had arrived. When the officer returned, the backup officers had some disturbing news regarding the animals. Well, there's cats in here. Look in that water bowl in this cage in this crate. I can't see. Look in that water bowl. I think so. Yeah, I think so, too. Hey, um So, there's a two animal crates in here as well and one of them has a bunch of kittens in them and I believe they're deceased. Who does the cats? You're clear. Who does the cats? So, has the Humane Society come out? Contact the Humane Society as well. 432, can you contact the Humane Society The Humane Society is an organization focused on animal welfare. Since the officers believed some of the animals to be deceased, they wanted to make sure that the rest of the animals would be rescued. Another officer was able to make contact with the owner of the vehicle. All right, thank you. All right, well, you can come outside with us then. I do I do know that we're taking the animals. So, either you come out with it. All right, good. We're going to Well, the dog warden's already out. So, it's either that or you come out there. >> my service dog? Do you have papers? Do you have papers? [Music] Do you have from Do you have papers? Do you have papers showing that it's a service dog? All right. From the suspect's body language and loud tone, the officer could tell it wouldn't be an easy case. It's odd that the suspect claimed the dog was a service dog, but neglected to take the animal inside the store with her in case she had a seizure. Are you refusing? Are you refusing to come out? No, I'm not. I'm going to go get my brother. No, you come out now or you're refusing. I'm going to get my brother. You're refusing, okay. Come here. Come here. Come here. No. Go down. Do it. You do it. Go down. Down. Get down on the ground. You do it. You going with your Hands behind your back. No. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back now. Put your hands behind YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS behind your back. I do not talk to you. Let go, Brooke. You do not take my dog. The keys are behind your back. Now. Now. my dog Now. You do not take my dog. Now. Give me your arm now. You touched me. Right there. You touched me. No, no one. No one. All right, no one. You all right, Brooke? The suspect, even though she was detained on the ground, continued to mouth off to the officers about her dog being her property. She failed to realize that because of her gross neglect and possible endangerment, what would happen to her animals was no longer up to her. Are they arresting? Yeah, she Yeah. No. Put my dog back. Hey. You can You can go in here. Let's go. I have my dog back. Watch your grip. Watch those cuffs there. Gap gap them. Gap them. Are they gapped? She's coming out of this one. It don't matter. That is not right. It's also not right hitting an officer. I did not hit the wrong officer. Finger space. Finger space. They had no right taking my animals. You had no right. They're They're here because we CALLED THEM. YOU HAD no right. Although she continued to resist, the officers were eventually able to detain her inside the vehicle. The dog was taken by the Humane Society and the kittens were rushed to an emergency vet. Although the suspect claimed she didn't assault an officer, the paramedics disagreed. Just off. He's lying. I just My forehead's burning. I think her nail clipped me. Yeah, I feel something over there. My ring finger is like We're good now. I just Hey, hold up for um what she What exactly Cuz when I turned around, she had you around the neck, so. Stroke choke, she saw more. I just remember an arm coming at me this way and I turned. Yeah, so when I saw the the girl was like this from when I saw and that's when I jumped in. And that's when my leg got stuck. She fell on top of my leg. So, pretty much assaulted by Yeah. No offense, but we like pets more than people, so Well, the dog's out. We'll do the charges. She's getting transported to Flower. Yeah. She's getting transported to Flower. She was choked. The officer who was assaulted was transported to the hospital and the animals were taken to safety. The suspect was arrested and charged with assault on a police officer and animal cruelty. Imagine grocery shopping on a normal day and some random person starts screaming at you. That's exactly what happened on November 11th, 2023. Officers were called to a local grocery store about a woman causing a scene and yelling at fellow customers. When the officers arrived, they were greeted by the owner who located the suspect for them. Hey, how's it going? Did you call us? Yeah, she has some Where she Is she still in the store? Let me just wait for my partner real quick. Come on out. Okay. Okay. Hey, man. What? What What's going on? Oh, no. Why are you seriously calling the cops? Oh, boy. Here, we just got told [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Oh, no. Let me Let me just talk to you. You're not You're not in trouble right now, but you're a little Okay. Hey, ma'am, do not walk away from us, okay? Let me talk to you. You're not in trouble right now, but we got called to make sure that you're okay and to check on you cuz you're you're pretty You're pretty erratic right now. Okay. Okay. We'll talk to you about it. Listen. Talk to me about it. Okay. You got your ID on you? Listen. Listen. Deep breaths. You're not accused of stealing anything. Okay, we're just checking on you cuz you're not acting normal. From the way she was acting, the officers knew that dealing with the suspect wouldn't be an easy feat. She was clearly under the influence of substances which were causing her to act extremely erratic. The officers needed to be careful in case the situation escalated. >> What's your name? Julia? Okay. You've been up for 2 days? That doesn't mean you got to be up for 2 days. Okay. Your Your behavior is not normal. Well, I need you to try better cuz you can't stand still, your nose is running, you're talking a million miles a minute. I can understand, but now it's time to calm down so I can help. No. We're standing right here till we figure everything out. You're walking around in a store. Okay, you're calm. Exactly, and that's what we're figuring out. I told You guys would not You guys couldn't understand any of that. How dare you accuse me of being on drugs because I'm going through a hard time right now. The suspect was freaking out and she may have been telling the truth when she claimed to have a panic attack. She also claimed to have PTSD from being assaulted and robbed since her house burned down, but it was no excuse for her behavior. Her restlessness made it hard for the officers to predict her next move. I don't know. Keep it in your pocket for me. Okay. We're figuring out with the warrants, okay? You're just being detained for the warrants. That's all. Stop. Ma'am. Stop. Ma'am, stop. No, we're figuring it out. Okay, stop fighting with us. Are they double locked? Stop. Stop. The officers decided to place the woman in handcuffs since she mentioned having a warrant for drug para- However, the suspect was extremely combative and argumentative with the officers claiming she was going through a hard time. Wait, no. I'm fine. >> You're You're under arrest for DCI. You're under arrest for DCI. NO. [Music] NO. WATCH YOUR HEAD. STOP. STOP. [Applause] HEY. [Applause] [Music] I GOT HER. STOP. THE suspect was clearly terrified of going to jail. Whether it was because she simply didn't like jail or because she was afraid of the crazy withdrawals she was about to go through, the officers were able to secure her in the back of the squad car after using a bit of force. Ma'am, calm down. [Music] [Music] Oh, no. YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. [Music] STOP KICKING. IT'S GOING TO BE ANOTHER CHARGE. It's going to be ANOTHER CHARGE. NO. LISTEN, WHEN WE GET TO THE JAIL, you need to calm down. The female officer is going to search you and then we're going to go from there, all right? We don't do that, okay? We didn't make you take drugs. [Music] [Music] The woman continued her frantic screaming and kicking all the way to jail. She was arrested and charged with resisting arrest without violence as well as criminal damaging for kicking in the squad car. On March 16th, 2023, officers were dispatched on reports of a shoplifting in progress. When officers arrived, they were met with a woman named Rakia Ray Spillers who was identified by the store manager. I'm sorry. You said You said what? You have what? Have you Have you guys told her not to come back? Okay. I'll just need I'll need a statement in reference to that, so. You're being detained right now. You're not free to leave. Can you come here, please? No. Don't go out that door. You're under arrest for trespass. YOU'RE UNDER ARREST I'M NOT UNDER YOU'RE NOT UNDER ARREST. [Music] OKAY, TIE YOUR ONE. Stay down. I'm putting the handcuffs on you. You're under arrest for resisting arrest. Okay, here. Stay on the ground. STAY ON THE GROUND. STAY ON THE GROUND. DO NOT FIGHT ME. DO NOT FIGHT ME. STAY ON THE GROUND. YES, YOU ARE. STAY ON THE GROUND. STAY ON THE GROUND. STAY ON THE GROUND. DOWN. STAY ON THE GROUND. I'M NOT under arrest. Okay. From her wild claims, it was clear that Rakia was not in her right mind. For obvious reasons, it was highly unlikely that she was given the moon and the universe. The officer was having a hard time keeping her still, let alone convincing her that she was actually under arrest. Do not resist and fight. DO NOT RESIST AND FIGHT. HEY, WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT LATER. CALM DOWN. YES, CALM DOWN. OKAY, CALM DOWN. CALM DOWN. I'M NOT GOING TO GET OFF OF YOU, BUT YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. I'M NOT GETTING OFF OF YOU. YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. LAY DOWN ON THE GROUND. [Music] LAY DOWN on the ground. Yes, you are. Stay on the ground. NO, I'M NOT. DON'T KICK ME. NO, I'M NOT UNDER ARREST. NO, I'M NOT. GET off of me. I'm not getting off of you. Stay down on the ground. >> No, I'm not under arrest. Stay down on the ground. >> No, you're an impostor. I'm not. I'm the police. >> No, you're not. >> Okay, stay on the ground. >> You're a liar. Liar. No. You're being hypnotized. You can't Stay on the ground. >> YOU CAN'T ARREST ME. WHAT'S YOUR NAME? NONE OF your business. Get off of me. Nope. How do you know that I'm not trespassing? You're a liar. You're going to get your job. Stay on the ground. No, he's a liar. He's a liar. Rikia was screaming and kicking beyond control, and it would definitely be a multi-person job detaining her. Soon, backup arrived on the scene. With another set of hands, the officers were able to place her in handcuffs and prepared to take her out of the store. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. WE NEED TO GET HER ON HER SIDE. >> GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. I'm not under I'm not UNDER ARREST. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER ARREST. [Music] I'M ROYALTY. They gave me the earth and the moon and the stars. They said no. They said I could call the governor. But all I have to do is go to the bathroom. And then I think my body camera's I just have to go to the bathroom. You want to go on her side? >> they gave me the universe. I The President of the United States gave me the permission. It's on the site. It's on the website. Rikia claimed that she was in contact with the President of the United States, who surely had better things to do than give thieves the universe. Even with the handcuffs on and the suspect detained, the officers came to the realization that she was not going to chill out easily. Stop hurting my foot. You're being rude. Sir, right now you're being hypnotized. There's red in the air. And I didn't do this to myself. I'm not a liar, and I'm NOT BEING MEAN. OW. OW. YOU JUST DID THAT ON PURPOSE. YOU don't do that to me. I'm not mean. I'm royalty. I'm not mean. [Music] Please be gentle. Oh, no, I don't want to be mean. I wasn't supposed to go to jail. That's what the President of the United States said. I didn't do anything wrong. I really did not do anything wrong. I have white coat syndrome. White coat syndrome is a medical condition where a person's blood pressure rises above normal levels in a clinical setting. Not only is this a completely irrelevant statement, since they were not in a medical office, it was likely a ploy to gain the officer's sympathy. I'm not a liar. No imposters. I'm not a liar. Please, no. No. Ow. I'm not working against you guys. Ow, my leg, my leg. My right leg. My left, right. Oh my god, get her away from me. Please get away from me. Please get away from me. No. That one's hurting. That one's on tight too tight. Please don't I had a vision. Please don't do this to me right now. Can you hurt my hurt my leg, please? [Music] Why are you doing this to me? The President said I didn't have But I didn't have to go. I wouldn't go to jail anymore for the rest of my life if it wasn't for because of what happened to me. Please, there's red in the air. You can't do this to me cuz there's red in the air. The woman claimed to have visions, but the only vision she should have been having is the view of jail in her near future. As the officers completed their task of getting her in full body restraints, they prepared to carry the strange woman out of the grocery store. You guys don't even notice when you're being hypnotized. You guys This is Mrs. McSwain's daughter. Too. No, I did not. This isn't my fault. You said I wasn't going to go to jail for the rest of my life. Oh my god. Why are you doing this to me? Please, stop. Please, let me go. I don't I'm not supposed to go to jail. And they promised. It's not a lie. You were hypnotized in a way because of those girls. Now, put me down and let me go, please. That's what happened, sir. No. No. I'm not supposed to go I'm not. President of the United States said that I wouldn't have to go to jail for the rest of my life for what because of what I did for this country. After quite a bit of verbal resistance from Rikia, the officers were able to place her in the squad car. They buckled her up whilst she was still inside the restraints in order to keep her from rolling around in the back of the unit. Then the manager of the store came outside to speak with the officers. So, this was found in her bag? Yeah, the ice cream's ours. I have >> Okay. I can scan the other ones to tell them that they're ours. Yeah, if you want to, let's do that. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I definitely know she picked up that She put a couple things back, but then she Okay. >> here, and she was just kind of all over the So, she definitely had the ice cream in her hand. in her hand, and that was found in her bag, I believe. >> Yeah, trespassed here, too. She was verbally trespassed by Greg a couple of months ago. So, she's been trespassed verbally twice, but never by us. But I don't That doesn't matter. Nope. He can that positive He can positively identify her as the person. Um, you already did on on body camera, so Yeah. Um, so the obviously the person that came out was the person we were talking about. >> Yeah. The flyer that you showed me. Yeah. And you guys are willing to pursue charges. Yep. Okay. What happened a couple months ago? On that flyer, uh, um, one of my employees saw her put on nail polish Okay. That she didn't purchase that. >> She was just doing it right in the aisle. And she stormed off. So, we trespassed her. Okay. Uh, then when I trespassed her, she had came in. She was in the bathroom for probably an hour, 2 hours. >> Hour or 2 hours? Okay. Yeah. And it was really hard to get her out. I recognized her. I was like, "Oh, I'm sorry." That's from the previous incident you told me about. I wasn't there for that, but I had the photo. It was the same person. So, Yeah. trespassed her, she got really upset, started cussing. And you physically told her you're trespassed, you're not willing to come back. What Do you remember what your words were I told her, "Don't come back. We'll call the police." Don't come Okay. Yeah, I just told her to have fun. Okay. The officers were certainly relieved to have her out of the store and off the streets. Rikia Rase Billers was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault, second-degree burglary, and resisting arrest. When confronted by cops, most people's first reaction is to be respectful to raise their chances of getting out of the situation. However, this instinct went out the window for a woman on September 15th, 2023 at a Walgreens store. Management called law enforcements because the woman was opening items and shoplifting. I'm just kind of looking cuz I know you guys have So, I'm just kind of looking for Perfect. That's perfect. I'll keep looking, but she's in the pharmacy right here, so it's way in the back. I think she Yes, sir. I'm Officer Boyton of the Farmington Police Department. The reason I'm contacting you is employees have seen you unpackaging some stuff and putting stuff in your purse. No, I didn't unpack anything. You guys can look. Okay. Do you have an ID on you, ma'am? No, I don't. No ID? I have not done anything wrong. Okay. So, >> No, no, no. What you're doing is you're accusing me of something now. Can I tell you something? I have not done any No, I'm not. Listen to me, please, sir. I have not done anything wrong. I'm showing you my bag. I have not done No, listen to me, please. I have not done anything wrong. What is your name, ma'am? No, you can tell me to leave the store. Listen, sir. Call your No, call your supervisor. Call your super No, call Don't put your bag down. >> No, no, no. I'm not going to put my I don't want to fight you. I don't want to fight you. >> going to fight you. Call your supervisor. >> going to detain you because of the way you're behaving. No, please do not. I'm I asked you call your supervisor. I'm not behaving in any type of way. The suspect was immediately combative with the officer, which he quickly picked up on. She was acting like she was the one in control, which was not the case at all. The officer tried to detain the woman before the situation got out of control. You can ask me to leave the store. No, listen. You can ask No, you do not. You have no right to identify me. You can look in my bag. I don't want to fight you. >> Please don't. Please don't. I'm not Turn around. We can walk We're walking. Turn around. I'm not No, no, no. We don't have to do this. You don't have to Yeah. I'm going to fight you. I'm not fighting you. I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not hitting you. I'm not I'm not >> are. Put your hands behind Stop. Stop. [Applause] [Music] I'll take you. You got to go to the back. I got the LAST TWO. ANDREW, HELP! >> MA'AM, PLEASE. >> ANDREW! I'll tell you who you are. I was the person with you. You didn't tell me you had weapons. All right. Andrew, you didn't even grab your things like that. You got Andrew, YOU DIDN'T WRONG. GET YOUR HAND OFF OF IT THEN IF you're not doing anything wrong. That's why I had to. You didn't have to even grab Yes, I did. Okay. Those were my shoes, by the way. What? I don't They're yours. You walked in with You saw that. She could have listened to the officer and put her hands behind her back, but she decided to try and run the show and caught a resisting charge. During the fiasco, she revealed she wasn't alone. Now the officers had to find the rest of her crew that she took with her to shoplift. She has your purse? >> Yeah, she has my This is yours? Yes. How did she She was taking forever, so I came to see what the clerk and then yeah, I couldn't even find her. So, ma'am, go ahead and put your hands behind your back. No. I'm going to detain you for right now. Okay. How old are you, ma'am? Um I'm 21. Okay. And what's your name? Um Alize. Alize? Yeah, Alize. Okay. How long were you in the store? I swear to god I heard that 10 minutes ago. Okay. So, I'm going to take her outside for now and sit her down. Yeah, let me unlock these up. She just tried to say right now that she doesn't know her, but Um Okay, she was asking her about stuff. Is the one here? Okay. Yes, sir. Right now, she's just being detained. We don't know what else to ask her. Like why am I being detained? I don't Also, we need to find out what car they came in. I didn't come with her. I walked. You walked here? >> Yeah, I walked here. She was taking forever. Have any weapons on you or anything like that? No. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and check your pockets. Well, they got her purse. So, when they inventory that, we'll get her name. Yeah. Because the second suspect, Alize Garcia, claimed to have been associated with the first unidentified suspect, the officers decided to detain and identify her just in case she was an accomplice. Meanwhile, the first suspect was waiting for the medics to arrive. Okay, ma'am, what's your first name? Alize. Allison? Alize. Alize? A L I Z E. A L I Z E. Okay, what's your last name? >> Garcia. Okay, what's a good phone number for you? I don't have a phone. No? Okay. What's your name? Can we start off with that? What's your name, ma'am? So, Boytano did use force. He's in there sweating away. We have two individuals. She's the one that he got into use of force with. That other female that showed up, they had like a bit of a miniature conversation in front of us, so she's actually being detained also. I don't know what crime we have yet, but uh she's complaining of being slammed on her face. The officers revealed that the first suspect had been opening and consuming food items, possibly concealing items in her purse, and had been in the restroom for over an hour, potentially doing nefarious activities. Meanwhile, Alize was Mirandized and prepared for questioning. Okay, so who's the lady right over there that we have detained? She's your friend? What's her name? What's that? Tiff? Is that short for anything? You just know her as Tiff? Okay, how long have you known her? Um quite a while. Quite a while? Okay. Take it out. Take it Hey, it's Tiffany Pope. Why? It's not You're obviously fine then, right? If you're running around. Okay. We'll put her in my car. And that right there Keep an eye on him. The first suspect, finally identified as Tiffany Pope, tried to flee on foot in order to escape from the officers. However, she was massively outnumbered and quickly caught. So much for needing medical attention. Soon, she was placed in a squad car and questioned. Ma'am? Yeah. Hey, I'm going to open the door real quick. I'm Sergeant Nes. I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Are you willing to talk to me? I'm fine. Are you willing to talk to me? >> What's up? Uh what happened inside? Um I didn't want to go to jail, and so um here I am now. Okay. Um why didn't you want to go to jail? Cuz I hate jail. Okay. But I knew I had warrants, and he started asking my name. I hadn't done anything wrong. Okay. Did you like try to walk away? Did you Did you >> I tried to, and he stopped me. How did he stop you? He like blocked me with his body. Did he ever Did he ever Did he ever identify himself as a police officer? >> He didn't do anything wrong. Can you just take me to jail, please? Just a couple more questions, and then you can then we can get you on your way. Um did you know he was a police officer? >> Yes, dude, I knew he was a cop. Okay. All right. Um are you hurt in any way? I'm fine. Any injuries? Anything? Please, no. Can we move on? I'm fine. Okay. Um I do have Well, so I do got to take a picture of you um and I'll have the officer do that once you get to the jail to take a picture of you, okay? Thank you. All right. Just thanks, ma'am. Watch your head. With Tiffany secured, it was time for the officers to turn their attention to her accomplices. During her arrest, Tiffany called out to a man named Andrew. The officers found him outside the store inhaling a tub of ice cream. Although he didn't assist Tiffany when she called out for him, the officers talked to him anyway. What are you doing? Hey, what are you doing? Where's the car at? Sit down, Mr. Weinberg. Andrew Weinberg. Uh we'll worry about the car here in a minute. Andrew, here's the deal. Listen. Listen. Listen. All right? Don't blow smoke. It's only going to get worse. That other girl That other girl that was here with you guys, she's about to get the [ __ ] end of the stick on this, too. All right? Listen, Andrew. Andrew, listen. Okay. Okay. Well, you're not on probation. So, don't worry about that. All right? And I know you ain't driving, right? Your buddy, Dino. Okay. You're eating that ice cream pretty dang hard, man. When's the last When's the last time you smoked? This morning? Okay. This ain't no big conspiracy, is it? Okay. The officers let Andrew leave under the condition that he didn't drive home since he was under the influence of He claimed he had come to the store with Tiffany, but didn't know she was going to shoplift. After this, the officers returned their attention to Tiffany. So, Andrew's a little bit upset right now. But we cut him loose. What do you mean a felony? What did I do? You got a felony. For what? The amount of stuff that you stole >> I didn't steal accumulates over 500 bucks. >> steal anything. Okay. Like I didn't bring anything out of the store, though. Okay. So, I >> even know how to accumulate $500 cuz Yeah, well, uh you haven't been advised of your Miranda rights yet or anything like that, okay? So, I'm just informing you that the stuff that they pulled out of your purse accumulates to a total of 500 over $500, which is a felony shoplifting charge. And then you ran cuz you knew about your two warrants. Okay, so you're going to get booked on those two, Tiffany. Tiffany refused to confirm Alize's involvement in the shoplifting. Alize's charges were unclear, but Tiffany was arrested on two felony warrants and charged with shoplifting, larceny, fourth-degree battery on a peace officer, third-degree disarming a peace officer, concealing identity, and resisting arrest. On April 10th, 2024, officers were called to a Target big box store by loss prevention employees on reports of a shoplifting in progress. Hey, you're not free to leave. You're under arrest. Both of you. Who? What did I do? What did I do? Do you not put your hands behind your back? >> Sir, what did I do? I didn't do anything, sir. What did I do? Quit resisting. Sir, what did I do? You're under arrest. Police, you're under arrest. You don't got to hold me. You're You're resisting. Put your hands behind your back. I'm not I'm not You're resisting. I'm sorry. So, I advised you were You're Advised I was the police. So, you're also under arrest for resisting arrest. Don't twist around on us. You do exactly what we tell you to do. You are under arrest. Body cameras are audio and video recording. Do you understand? Okay. I'm sorry. Please don't snatch me. Oh, you are under arrest. Okay, so I didn't We're going to talk about that in a second. We need to figure out your identity. Please, sir. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Please, sir. Listen. At this point in time, you have the right to remain silent. We're going to keep walking. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. The woman in white's clueless act would have been believable if the Target loss prevention team hadn't coordinated with the police about who the suspects were before they walked out of the store. Like the officer said, the woman needed a big-time attitude adjustment. >> haven't done anything, sir. I swear to God I haven't. So, I'm just going to advise you of your rights right now. Right there. Uh So, like I said, right now you're just being detained for reasonable suspicion of theft. We have probable cause for her to arrest her. Right now, we're just a reasonable suspicion for you. >> know. I don't I mean, I don't know cuz I've been literally was on the phone with my grandma. And everything and everything is recorded meticulously within the entire city of Lynnwood. It's not just inside the stores, it's everywhere. We have cameras everywhere watching everything. I'm sorry, sir. So, your entire your entire moves were being watched, recorded, and bookmarked. I mean, you can check the cameras. I haven't done anything. I have not I'm telling you I haven't even picked up anything. >> he's he's he's checking with his coworker right now. If his coworker says that you were concealing stuff in the bag that's in there that has all the stolen merchandise in it when you guys That's not my bag though, sir. That's >> that, but if you were concealing stuff into the bag No, sir. I haven't concealed anything. >> That's why I have him checking. I appreciate you being cool with me, but that's just why I have him checking. >> But that wasn't my bag, sir. >> If you were sticking it No, sir. I haven't stuck anything. >> That's why I'm having That's why I'm having him check. >> just a misunderstanding. I promise it is. >> I have him checking. While the woman in red, Sarah, remained relatively calm, she kept up her story that she had done no wrong. However, the officers had the Target loss prevention employee recheck the footage to confirm the truth. Meanwhile, her accomplice was having a breakdown. [Music] [Laughter] I'm sorry. Please. What do you think you were doing trying to turn around on cops? I wasn't trying to turn around. >> onto you and tell you you're under arrest, you don't start twisting around on us, okay? I'm sorry. >> Compliance is the only the only reaction to that. Anything else is resisting arrest. Do you understand me? >> Yes, sir. Okay. Now, the reason we're here, we already know what happened. We had someone watching the video. So, what items did you take and where are they? They're in the bags in the in the bottom of the cart. What are the items? Do you remember? >> Just the um clothes that's in the bag for my daughter. Do you have anything else from the store on your person? No. Okay. Is this your ID? Right there? No, that's not mine. Okay. The Jessica right here on the side. Whose ID is that? >> That's my cousin's. The one right there? No. No, that The Okay. I'm sorry. So, you said it's your ID is in here? >> Yes, it's on the side right there. Might be PS 3. Thank you. [Applause] Not only did the woman steal from Target, she was also possibly involved in some sort of fraud by having her cousin's identification inside her wallet. The woman was just racking up charges as the minutes went by. Back inside the store though, Sarah was pleading her case with the officer while they reviewed the security footage. Just got to figure out if he has video of you concealing. Okay. I'm You were cool with me. I'm not I'm not >> the basket's not mine though. You do know that, right? I what The basket she was pushing out that was that's not my basket. >> but what I'm saying is if you were sticking stuff inside the bag that was concealing stuff >> thing I did was put stuff in the basket, but that's the difference, right? Yeah, if you weren't sticking stuff inside the bag that can be used to conceal with that, then don't worry about it. But if you were sticking stuff inside the bag No. >> that was with all the concealed merchandise I didn't we're good. Um if you were sticking stuff inside there, I'm still not going to take you to jail today, okay? >> Okay. I promise you. >> nothing You've been nothing but cool with me. Yeah, I don't get in trouble, sir. I literally I work at I just got a promotion at my job at McDonald's. I I live in Bothell, and I work at the McDonald's right there in Mill Creek. And like you can ask like all the people at my job, they'll tell you like I'm a very good worker. Like I don't I go I literally go to work, come home, and babysit sometimes my little niece, and I don't bother nobody, sir. I don't. >> Okay. Go ahead and take a seat for me. The officer explained to Sarah that because she was calm and collected with the officers, that he wasn't going to take her to jail even if she did steal. Instead, if it turned out that she was guilty, he would send a citation ticket in the mail for a summons to court. >> Whose ID is that? She said Sarah gave it to her. Sarah met her on the bus. Originally, she You said it was your cousin. Then you said you were friends. Then you said you hadn't even met the guy. So, here's the deal. Sarah met her. That was found on your person, which means you're in possession of it. So, if we call and find out that you were Wow. And I took it from her. I'm serious. I took it from her because I thought she was messing with the girl, and I was like, "Who is this?" And she was like, "She met her on the bus." Wow. Oh my God. I don't need this. Well, regardless of what the outcome of the ID is, right? From the sounds of it, the other officer told you you were under arrest for resisting as well. >> I wasn't resisting. So, on top of that, I was Has she been read? So, on top of the resisting, you're also under arrest for theft at minimum third degree. Oh my God. You're probably going to jail today. The officer explained to the woman in white that she was the one who was caught on camera stealing, not Sarah. He advised her that she would be going to jail that night because she resisted the officers. With everything clear, the officers placed her in the car. Pull your shirt down in the front. I will pull your shirt down in Pull your shirt down in the front. I will pull your shirt down in the front. There you go. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to resist. I was just shocked. I didn't know what the hell was going on. I'm sorry. You got to understand when the police show up, the only response is immediate I was just turning around like, "What's going on?" I didn't I wouldn't jerk away. I didn't try to fight you. I didn't Okay. I'm sorry. Sorry, I really am. Well, I appreciate that. I believe you when you tell me you're sorry. >> Believe me. Please believe me. I am sorry. I do believe you. I mean, we got to hold you accountable tonight, obviously, but you know, I I hope this is a lesson learned that you probably should stop hanging out with Sarah. I I don't want carrying anybody else's ID, which to be honest, I I I don't I don't believe you that you're not using other people's other people's IDs. Okay. Whatever Sarah has done is what Sarah has done, but I don't want her around me no more. If you don't mind, please tell her that. Okay. >> want her around me no more. I don't. Well, I'm going to let you know right now that you know, using somebody else's ID uh that becomes identity theft, and that's a felony, and that's a big deal. It's sort of thing up here, all right? >> I understand that, sir. All right. The woman was charged with retail theft, identity theft, and resisting arrest. Sarah was not arrested for any charges as the video footage didn't show her stealing. It's probably for the best that the pair went their separate ways to avoid this happening again. Today, we've seen some of America's most psycho supermarket Karens. From grocery thieves to those who think they're conspiring with the president of the United States, these have been some of the most entertaining and disturbing public Karen meltdowns ever.
