death situations when hero cops nearly die to save lives go go go go go come on baby come is there on the morning of the 18th of February 2022 police were called to an apartment complex in Mesa area this one is this connected what about in the back where's they at they're in the back room being kids inside the back you're still on this point the officer could have called in for more backup or waited for fire crws to respond but instead he took the lead wasting no time and running to the source of the fire at the rear of the apartment complex it's already billowing smoke and turning out of attention she from the room unconscious no I need a medic over here over here than it's okay baby it's okay baby baby it's okay bab it's okay you're another kid in is not hey come here boss got out blue or black punch in the driver door open looking the driver door in the panel I got a window punch the driver door the officer retrieved a punch tool to get access to the submerged SUV this dripping wet officer is going far above and beyond the Call of Duty he's putting his own life and safety at risk to respond to this woman's emergency I got a punch here [Music] this sit situation is extremely serious the officer is using every ounce of his strength to use the punch tool to smash that window open once he does he can then get access to the imperil woman Inside time was also of the essence things could result in a fatal ending if he doesn't react in the few seconds he [Music] has get her up here get her up on hard the officer performs CPR the woman's surrounded by her family and Good Samaritans instead of waiting for medical Crews to arrive he's doing everything he can to save her life in the few precious moments he has left the distress of the woman's family and the onlookers is clearly evident the officers aren't just responding to a medical crisis and car accident they're also keeping their calm in the middle of a very psychologically stressful incident thankfully this woman survived the incident in a TV interview the primary responding officer epano munguia later opened up about how it felt to save her and then as soon as we were opening the door the front door I heard I got her and I felt like I won the lottery I I really don't know how to describe it to you other than just life started coming back into her this one was a truly heart stopping rescue story The heroism and Persistence of the officer ensured a successful outcome to what could have been a much worse situation on March 30th 2023 an officer in Beloit Wisconsin was on patrol he spotted a vehicle that had had been used in an armed theft the day before for this reason the officer tried to pull the car over for a traffic stop however that's when the driver fling up Street South in downt 70 mph heavy traffic couple people out on the [Music] sidewalk the chase continues through the streets of booy as the officer pursues the suspect's vehicle the driver is weaving Dangerously In and Out of traffic and this situation could escalate at any time into a life-threatening accident as there were civilians on the sidewalk and other vehicles in the street uh almost lost control of the vehicle 324 I don't know if the vehicle's slowing down or dying but we're at public 20 M hour West down public 324 the driver looks to be bailing and it looks to be a male black suspect just crashed he just jumped into the river he jumped head first into the river the officer was left flumix by the stunt the driver pulled the last thing he expected to see was the suspect jumping straight into the icy water of the river which of course could have deadly consequences meanwhile another cop goes to the crashed vehicle to secure the other suspect who was in the passenger seat me get out of the vehicle get out of the vehicle fire please yeah you're good bro I just I'm you're good you're good I'm going to put you in CS okay I'm can you swim he can't swim despatch 24 pass your yeah all crimes the priority for this officer is saving his life instead of letting him d at this point the suspect of course has not been proven guilty of any crime so he deserves his day in court and a fair trial you got me you got me yeah I go dude this doesn't seem like a good idea current too strong I don't know you got that rope you got not going anywhere hold on to that you're all good man if they you up the painful moans of the suspect illustrate just how cold the water is at this time of the year in Wisconsin while it may be tempting to invalidate the suffer of this suspect because of what he's accused of the officers remain fully professional and are diligently trying to save the man's life we're good you want to move for me sir all right let go me favor though hold on want to see a stump yeah someone's going to have to step in try I think okay I got right on both sides okay so we're going to pull him up onto this okay watch his head watch the ropes the longer he spins in the frigid Waters the higher the chance the suspect won't live due to hypothermia but these heroic officers are doing all they can to make sure he pulls out of this alive [Applause] pull that take him fleeing cops the suspect D'Angelo was in the water for approximately 19 minutes after being medically examined he was hit with numerous charges including fleeing an officer and jumping out of a car while driving he was given 18 months in jail and 2 years of extended supervision while that's a pretty harsh punishment dying in the river's icy Embrace is much worse on June 10th 2024 police in Utah responded to a disastrous accident after a trucker drove into an embankment at Little Cottonwood Canyon near the town of granite officers arrived on scene and immediately began trying to locate the victim of the accident trying to figure out which way the to yeah that's the fuel they said the driver never came out yeah nope with a fire burning around the explosive Fuel and the driver unaccounted for the cops are facing a situation that's like a ticking Time Bomb they could walk away and call for backup but of course they know that every second is crucial so they bravely go forward oh sir you where's he he's over here in the ditch yeah he has multiple compound fractures in the arm some lacerations in the legs if these heroic officers hadn't responded the way they did it's unlikely this trucker would have survived despite his injuries this man got off very lucky because this situation could have very well taken his life the final clip of this compilation is the most heroic of all it occurred on June 9th 2022 [Applause] [Applause] where's the baby at where's the baby where where where where wait where wait where is he at at this point officer sanderson's trying to rapidly find out the exact location of the baby instead of panicking and jumping in the water she takes a moment to find out exactly where the baby fell into the pond after identifying where the baby was she immediately sprung into action hold on move I'm getting I'm getting I'm getting them put down put him down put him down can you be mobile the officers were able to retrieve the baby and the female officer immediately performed CPR this situation is extremely nerve-wracking as the baby hovers on the brink of death tirelessly the officer does all she can to rescue the little one's life at that point nothing was certain as they might already be too late come on baby come on baby come on baby come on baby come on bab come on come on come on come on bab come on come on come on come H 792 me back 337 481 [Applause] come all right back yes I did Sir Sanderson behaved selflessly and Incredibly courageously that day rescuing the small baby despite not knowing how to swim herself fortunately the infant survived the ordeal because of her quick response and determination when America's bravest put on their uniform and Holster up for the day Anything Can Happen even if it's not always on the front page we could all do with a reminder of the kind of heroism that officers demonstrate in the line of duty sometimes selflessly risking their lives for others and demonstrating why protect and serve is far more than just an empty slogan
