All right, we're getting a person shot at 3334 Evergreen. >> Get out of the police car. Get out OF THE CAR NOW. >> DROP YOUR GUN. >> HEY EVERYONE, this is me, the owner and host of Arrest Cam and Arrest Cam Fish and Wildlife. Before we get into today's video, I want to talk a little bit about myself. I haven't been on camera before, so this is a face reveal and you might as well get to know me a little bit better. Once upon a time, I trained as a firefighter and EMT before taking up a career working as a firefighter. Along the way, I met many great people, saved [music] some lives, and saw some pretty bad [ __ ] It is one of the most rewarding jobs on the planet and to be honest, I miss it just about every [music] day. However, as many of you can imagine, it's very difficult working 24-hour schedules, especially when you don't have family nearby and you have a newborn at home. So, I had to find something different. [music] Throughout my life, I've been boating and fishing. It's something I've always enjoyed and one day I was looking online and I saw an ad for boat insurance. Didn't sound glamorous, but it sounded pretty interesting and I figured [music] I like boats, so let's check it out. So, I applied for the job, worked there for nearly a decade, and along the way moved up to the position of manager. I was over an entire claims unit and the boat towing unit. So, when people needed help on the water, they called my team. While doing that job was great, I decided, you know what? Maybe I should start a YouTube channel. I've always been a big fan of police body camera footage and decided to start my own page. Along the way, I've always taken pride in running this channel the right way. I actually have two channels, the channel that you're watching right now and a Fish and Wildlife channel. Even if you're not interested in fishing and hunting content, I think you should check it out. There's a lot of cool content over there and you'll learn a few things and see a different side of law enforcement. [music] Now, onto today's video. Today's video involves a rapid escalation of the use of force by the Colorado Springs Police Department. On January 31st, 2026, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a call for service. According to the caller, there was an ongoing disturbance between two individuals. The caller believed that a rifle may have been involved and provided a description of the two suspects. When the officers arrived on scene, they found one of the two individuals matching the description provided by the caller. Despite the caller indicating that there was a rifle involved, she had a knife. When the officers attempted to make contact with her, she dropped the knife and began to flee. Now, where she decided to flee is what took this case from a routine foot patrol to a potentially lethal situation. She fled right to a CSPD marked cruiser and entered the driver's side door. She attempted to take off, but didn't put the vehicle in drive. As two officers attempted to pull her out of the vehicle, a third officer on the passenger side could see her reaching for and grabbing the shotgun located inside the vehicle. >> Put your hands up or you're going to get tased. DO IT NOW. OH, HELL NO. GET OUT OF THE POLICE CAR. GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. [ __ ] YOU. GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. >> WHEN THE officer on the passenger side noticed what she was doing, he fired three shots through the window, striking her twice. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> No. >> GUYS, GRAB HER. >> SHOTS FIRED. SHOTS FIRED. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. GET OUT OF THE CAR. GET OUT OF THE CAR. GIVE ME YOUR GUN. >> SHOTS [snorts] FIRED. SHOTS FIRED. Shots fired. Shots fired. >> The suspect was transported to the hospital where she was treated with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was later released from the hospital and booked into the El Paso Criminal Justice Center. At the time of this information being released, she was charged with felony menacing. The officers later recovered the knife that she dropped during the foot pursuit. That's it for today's video. If you like content like this, be sure to subscribe.
