reported that two women had entered one sneaking merchandise into her belongings while the other kept employees distracted with casual chatter under Florida statute retail theft shoplifting is a criminal offense that can be charged as either a misdemeanor or felony depending on the value of the stolen goods if the stolen merchandise is under $750 the charge is petite theft punishable by up to severity of the investigation inside they discovered approximately 62 G of Meth amphetamine and 11 G of marijuana along with several pipes and a scale commonly used for weighing drugs they also discovered a gold Fossil watch likely stolen and multiple prescription medications some of which were in Amber's name and others under a different individual's name according to the arrest report all of these items along with a large quantity of stolen goods were found together painting a picture of a much larger criminal operation the extent of the items uncovered indicated Amber's involvement in Far More Than Just petty theft meanwhile back in the patrol car Amber's story suddenly took a turn my boyfriend's car my boyfriend doesn't know that I steal and he doesn't know that I put all this car
