So, >> just ask. >> Both suspects were officially arrested, transported to police headquarters, and charged with shoplifting. Any other tattoo? >> No. >> No. >> He claims he moved from Texas 6 months ago, has never had an ID, never met police before, and even offers his tattoos as proof. That's creative. Apparently, tattoos now count as social security numbers. for do any of them have a tattoo on the right hand that says gods go apost >> can you send 22. >> Have you um have you been banned from here before or no? >> No. Okay. >> Yeah. Depending on um depending on what this officer decides, you might get a ticket for like trespassing because they have a agreement with us. But yeah. something. >> Officers kindly explain. This shoplifter is already a mess. Do you agree with this opinion? Tell it in the comment section. >> I could do it. Um, I'm having some issues with money right now. Um, I just like bought off a new car, so it's I haven't been working lately. >> The case begins in Florida where officers respond to a call from a clothing store owner who suspects one of their employees has been stealing from the cash register. >> How does she look? >> She's got a long tan khaki skirt. She's got a black leather jacket. She's the shorter of the two. She looks kind of laughing. [Music] >> I have the register tape, too, that she pulled it like the time stamp, too. >> Okay, you got that on video already? >> I just have me on video, but not her on video doing it, but I have the time, but she went over the time. >> Yeah, of course. What's your phone number? Excuse me. >> No. >> Okay. >> Okay. Perfect. All right. I'll get some pictures out to you. Okay. >> All right. Perfect. We'll give you a text. Okay. Um I'll try to get them at you today. >> Hello. Hey, how you doing? C Police Department. >> The reason why I'm here today is because we got a call in reference to someone. I was wondering if we could talk to you for a second. Okay. >> Yeah, of course. >> Is there somewhere we can talk to her? If you want to go private or you can just go in the back. >> Yeah, you show us >> just like at the very back. >> The officers start by reading the suspect her Miranda writes, making sure protocol is followed. But when they ask the first question, her response catches them completely off guard. >> Um, I was accused of stealing money at a party, that was it. Uh, got your car. All right, I'm just going to read this out to you. All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions. To have a lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed to you before questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you will still have the right to stop questioning at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand the rights that I just read? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Tell us about your >> I was just looking looking for a tampon. I I all I was doing was trying for a tampon. I thought I started my period and I had moved this girl's bag. I only paid her back cuz I didn't want anything to happen. I didn't want it to be put on me because I'm not that kind of person. >> I'm sorry. >> And the way she was talking to me, like it felt like it was going to be >> Who was the sheep? Was it your manager or? >> No, it was um a girl at the party that I guess she had messaged me and she said like I saw you the one doing that. >> Okay. Um what's this? What's this young lady's name? >> I I didn't get to know her. Um I have it on my phone. I can show it to you. >> Um I think it started with an A, but she said like either way I'm going to like put legal. >> Okay. Where was this party? It was at um like a new event center, Lake Mary. >> Lake Mary. Okay. >> Well, we appreciate it, but that's not necessarily why we're here today. We're here because you're being accused of theft. However, the theft is not in regards to that party. It's in regards to something that's happened here today. >> Okay. So you have a manager um who advised us that well not manager you have one of your other co-workers who advised us that they left a certain amount of dollars very identifying marks >> on that and you were the only person in the store. >> According to the manager, the woman had been stealing cash during her shifts. To confirm the suspicion, the manager marked several bills with the letter J and placed them in the register. She also has the receipts of the opening of when the drawer was open exact time. >> Okay. >> Where we're at right now is uh I can't promise you anything, >> but for me and I'm sure officer for same thing. Honesty is the best policy. Okay. So, could you tell us anything about that? >> I did do it. >> I'm having some issues with money right now. Um, I just like bought off a new car, so it's I haven't been working lately. Um, I will admit to that. So, >> was it just today or has it been in the past? >> It was today and then I've done it in the past before, but never like large amounts. >> How much would you sell? >> Probably like to >> 300 maybe was the most beforehand. It's in my bag. >> Okay. Can I go through that bag? >> Yes, sir. It's going to be in that pocket. >> If I'm wasting your time, I don't want to waste it. You guys have better things to do than this stuff. That makes sense. >> No, that's not where it's from, man. >> Your time is valuable. >> All right. Do you mind do you mind uh coming over here for me just to identify? That's not my Can I take a picture? >> I already have all the pictures. This is going on real quick. Can you identify these bills? >> I don't see any J so far. I have serial numbers of the others. I got to get the serial number. >> Well, the Js I know are winners. >> There's one J. There's my J's. >> There's another J here. This is the only J. But I'll get you the serial number. >> No problem. >> That's a J. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay, Kaitlin, I need the serial number. >> As the investigation unfolds, another officer remains by her side, calmly guiding her through each step and explaining what she needs to do next. >> It's a little bit. Like I said, for me, honesty is the best policy. Only thing I can do, have you ever been arrested? >> No. >> So with with situations that have happened, especially with things like death, you know, I can't promise you that. But you don't have a record. So that's there's no pattern there. Now that the situation out of Lake Mary, we don't that has nothing to do with us. >> Yeah. >> We're only here for for this that happened today and the stuff is happening all the time. Okay. So, like I said, you know, it's not for us to sit up there and be like, "Hey, you know, you did this to come in here and have somebody like that." Not wrong. You have to be accountable for it, right? But it's not a situation where, like I said, it's not foreseeable that you could have a future after this. Okay? >> So, I'm going to go talk with her. Um, and then uh I'll be uh cuz I don't want you to go back in there and I'll be better. And I have to tell you at this moment, you're being placed in investigative detention. I'm not going to put you in cuffs or nothing like that right now. We'll we'll get to that later. Make sure you uh can she have a seat for a minute? Of >> course. You have a seat. >> You have to go the door. So, just start with me. >> You have you have your customers and stuff. We'll do our best to keep it quiet. Okay. >> Does Does this go belong to you? >> The $5 >> that was given to me from her. I owe her money for coffee. The five samples. >> That's enough. Let me grab something. >> Yeah. How many you want charges? >> Yes, I do. I added it up. It's several thousand that's been going on. You're breaking my freaking heart. I have a documentation in my car. I wasn't prepared to turn it over cuz I was trying to rule it out, but I'll show you what I was preparing for my insurance company. >> Okay, let's see. >> It's It's well over what she has here. I was hoping she would show it all what you took this morning and you didn't. So, no. Let's not make it Let's make it. >> When questioned about the missing money, the woman produces even more cash hidden in her purse. The manager estimates the theft at over $22,000, noting suspicions first arose after she flaunted a brand new Gucci purse and car. >> Where's the other? >> I I told him it was in that back pocket of my bag. Like >> which one? >> The one with the zipper >> right here. >> Yeah. >> Is that the rest of it from today or? >> Yes, sir. >> She put the she put the J photograph. Is this all from this business? >> Yes, sir. Okay. I'm going to put your keys back in your purse so you don't fine. >> You think that much money is going to go missing and nobody's going to notice. >> I mean, this that ain't 20 bucks. >> I'm going to look out my door. I can tell you what I had. All right. All righty. What's your name? >> All right. Y do me a favor. Stand up. >> Right now, you're going to be placed under the arrest of death. Okay. Do me a favor. Lift your hands up. Put you anything. I'm not going to search you anything. I'll let them do that. Okay. >> 13 1360. Does that sound right? >> 371 250. >> Does that sound right, ma'am? 1360. I did. >> The officer asks the suspect what drove her to steal. And you won't believe what the suspect says. >> Before this, she took me like 300. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I was making good money before and I was working a lot of work. >> So, she cut your hours or something. Is there a reason why she did that? >> To me, I feel like it's cuz I wasn't doing anything right. So, kind of sucked. Okay. >> So, I'm like going to jail. >> Mhm. >> Because of the amount. Um, when she first called us, she made she gave us a number >> and you would have gotten a notice to appear because >> you would you could have got >> Yeah, that's our supervisor. >> You would have got a >> sorry memory. Despite being a longtime employee, she didn't hold back from stealing, blaming her actions on low wages. In the end, the manager chose to press charges. >> You can just look at all of it. You can have it. Um, >> and that 22,000 doesn't calculate. >> No, cuz I didn't know. I actually came in cuz I was planning on just interviewing her, >> right? >> She was not originally who I thought it was going to be. I was very shocked. I I got it down to just I rolled out everybody but her and another girl. And I actually just thought it was the other girl to be honest. I'm not going to lie to you. But now looking at all this evidence and the time clocks when she was here, it all lines up. >> Makes sense. >> Do you recollect any of those things? >> Okay. >> How much do you think you've taken over the years? >> It's just this year, by the way. >> It's just this year. >> How much? >> I didn't keep track. >> I mean, you got to have a ballpark in excess. >> How much How much was your purse? How much was your car? How much do you think? I want to hear what you think. >> That was >> at a time or she's missing $22,000. >> So, if you don't think you took that much, you got to have a ballpark of how much you do think. >> I have documentation here to show. I know. Go ahead and head north. Pick this up. send you a picture of it. When she's done that, we gives her time to >> All right. >> The woman was officially charged with grand theft for her actions. Stealing from your workplace, no matter the excuse, destroys trust and career opportunities. Short-term gain can lead to long-term legal and financial loss. She's already been busted at Walmart, Marshalls, and yes, this same TJ Maxx. Consistency is key, right? Officers find a bag filled with items from multiple stores. Uh I gave it to Haley. >> Where did you? >> Yeah. >> So, I'm going to read your rights real quick. Okay. You have the right to silent and you say can be used against you. You have the right to have an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be provided provided before you. Uh you can uh decide to waver these rights at any time. You understand? >> Okay. So, did you take items from TJ Maxx? [Music] >> Okay. Did you take items from other stores >> from Marshalls, but I gave them to them? >> Okay. Where did you put these items? >> Um they were in my bag. >> Which one? >> They ask for receipts. She claims she paid officers. Cool. Let's see them. Anna Lisa crickets. A few rounds later, she crumbles. Okay, fine. I stole it. Can you show me receipts? >> I didn't ask for a receipt. >> Usually you get a receipt though. >> So when I go bring you over there and we look at cameras, are they going to show me that you're stealing it or are they going to show me that you actually paid for it? >> This is cuz I'm going to bring you over there and I'm going to we're going to find you on camera and then what what going to happen? What's going to show me? That you actually went to register and pay for this stuff. Well, you didn't. Don't lie cuz there's no need to lie anymore. We're beyond that. Take it. >> What? >> You did it. That's what I thought. All right. So, what else is in there that you stole? >> Take everything out that's all stolen or taken without paying. This is best. I think they have >> I got good No. [Applause] >> All right. Let me see. The whole thing is you >> What's yours? >> That's mine. >> This is all yours. >> Uhhuh. >> Why is this still in the package? >> Because that's the way they sell them at Five Below. >> Where's the receipt? >> Where's the receipt for that? I didn't ask for. >> I know. That seems to be your MO. You didn't ask for it cuz you stole it. >> More stolen stuff surfaces. Walgreens check. Target check. Ana Lisa cycles through denial. Excuses. And finally, sigh confession. >> We don't have proof. >> From where? Just just take just take it. Just just take it. It's fine. I I can't remember. Just Just take it. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> Stand up. Turn around. Put your head back. >> You're not playing this home. >> Please. Please. >> I know. I know. My hand. I'm sorry. But you did sign that trespass not even a year ago. I told you don't come back to my stores. You don't listen. You need help. Get it. Coming back here is not helping. You're tiny. You're so tiny. >> Yeah, she got [Music] >> I can't help you. >> Please. Please. >> She's not. So, whatever belongs to Marshall is going to have a way for me to like help you out. >> I can separate it for you and then bring it that way or unless you want to do it. >> Call for it. Let me see. Give me one second. [Music] >> 40. Do we have a phone number for somebody from Marshalls? Um LP. Do >> you have anything on you? >> Where's that? What's going on in your corner? Right. >> Yeah. So, like anything. >> Are these guys yours, too? >> Uh, yeah. I don't think so. Oh, I like things like that. It might be for she said it is. Have a seat. >> Where'd you get all this from? >> I got them from Walgreens and Target. >> Where? >> In Jersey City. I paid for them. I didn't ask for a receipt. >> When did you buy When did you buy this stuff from Walgreens and Target? >> Earlier today. >> Earlier today. So if we go there and look at >> the best part, she finally gives up declaring, "I stole it all. Just take it all." That's one way to save time on paperwork. >> Cameras, what are we going to find? >> We're trying to make this early today. >> How much early today we talking? >> What time did you go to Target or whatever? >> Probably this morning. >> This morning? >> Mhm. employee of marshals. He's going to he's not on scene, but he's going to reach out to a supervisor and get someone over to your location. >> Obviously, >> some items were legit, confirmed via Apple Pay, but most stolen. TJ Maxx tally $122. Not exactly Oceans 11 money. And that's from you guys or that's from >> Some of it's from Marshalls. I know this is from Marshalls. And then a couple other smaller items are from Marshalls. I can tell that >> the um here is just pink out. We'll try to separate whatever >> it might be from. I don't know. I know this is one and this is the other one. I think that's one >> that's confirm >> everything else. This is more throws in the back. >> Hold on. Yeah, I got you. I didn't want I didn't know where you wanted, but yeah. Go ahead. Just >> hopefully they're going to come here or just say headquarters. >> Your value is still like 122, right? >> 122. Whatever's on there, obviously. But yeah. >> Yeah. >> Do you have a bag? >> I can barely go. >> I don't know. Well, let me call our boss real quick cuz if it was cash I'd be easier but because she >> Yeah, but you pay with Apple Pay, right? >> Yeah, that's why >> she paid for that with Apple Pay. I was watching it on camera. >> So, it's Apple. >> I have Let me debit it. >> Oh, >> officers discuss returns and her long list of open cases. Translation: Ma'am, your punch card for shoplifting arrests is full. You win a trip to county jail. She >> comes up with a receipt at some point. She could have a package, man. stereot. [Music] >> Thank you guys. >> It all depends on your criminal history. Do you have any pending cases? Last time you were arrested for by us, did you show up to court? >> Um, >> if it's pending, if it's pending, you're going to jail. >> No. >> And we're going to go to jail. Can I go in there? >> When we get the headquarters here are super mess around. >> Yeah. >> You want me to start that? Once you get the return, we're good to go. Right. >> Just confirm. We have a 255 on the way. >> I'm one for the one for the one for the stable. Total three should be in the front. I'll pass you the receipt from her >> in the front right by the door getting the return. It's up to you. >> Never mind. Yeah. >> So, it's $40.50 to me. Have them come. >> Can I use this bag? >> Yeah. Whatever you need to use. >> Can I have another small bag for the top? >> Actually, right behind you. Small garbage bags. >> Yeah. Right. >> Just going to put it properly. >> They're thin. So, you might want to double it just >> It's only going like 50, not even. Sorry. >> What? Oh, that's my >> That's my do. >> Thank you, bro. Appreciate that. >> I'll walk out. Yes. Location headquarters. one truck on the main bus driver show up on the service road. All right. >> Now, uh, do you want her to go to headquarters or to TJ Maxx? >> Headquarters. >> Headquarters. >> Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. >> I'm going to go to jail. >> Come on. 137. >> Am I going to go to jail? >> Am I going to go to jail? >> Maybe we could get a two that we have two now. >> Final count. Five Below, Walgreens, Marshalls, Target, TJ Maxx. Basically, a full shopping center crime spree. Analisa is cuffed, charged, and chauffeered to jail. Crime always catches up. No matter how many excuses or denials, the truth eventually comes out. Repeated theft only leads to harsher consequences, proving that change is the only real way forward. But this is still not the worst case. Just wait until you see this next one. >> And that's what I didn't do. >> Okay. >> Well, it's on video. >> Okay. I want to see video. >> Well, I'm telling you. >> Meet Deja Holly, a 20-year-old Walmart employee caught stealing in Florida. Not once, but five times during her shift. Her boss had seen enough and called the police to handle the situation. All right, D. So, uh, they got you on camera. Basically taking money from the register, putting in your pocket. >> Money? Where? >> Yeah, they got you on camera. [Music] >> Would you be able to empty out your pockets? Okay. Can you take that off? >> That's it. >> Anything else in your pocket? >> No, sir. >> Okay. I'm going to place your items right there. >> I'm going to have you turn and face the wall right here. I'm going to pat you down. >> You got nothing on you. Which pocket did she put? Do >> you think security is hard to like >> this one? >> It seems the seriousness of the situation hadn't quite sunk in for Deja. Even after being shown clear photos of her stealing from the register, she stayed surprisingly nonchalant and kept denying everything. She even started raising her voice at both store staff and police officers who were just trying to explain what she needed to do. If that's not peak oblivious behavior, I don't know what is. I didn't take anything. I have my own money. >> Okay. Well, I mean, it's on camera. >> Can I see for myself? >> I'm going to show you the pictures just to show there's a camera like literally right. >> I know. I know that. Of course. >> So, here's the times that I guess you were taking it uh the other days, right? The other days. Okay. >> I can't see nothing. I got his >> I see me putting taking money out [Music] >> and >> yeah, that's mine, sir. >> No problem. >> All right. So, I'm going to have her write a stand real quick. >> Okay. >> I was looking looking for something. >> So, you're going to listen to what this gentleman is going to tell you to do right now. Okay. >> Right now, you're at work. What I'm going to need you to do is uh write a statement about why you have this money and explain to us what has happened on these previous days of >> how how can I know what happened if it look like I'm taking money out the door. >> I'm just letting you know it's all on video. Okay. So I need you to write a statement about what is happening. >> Yeah. >> But this money that we had from your registers that you >> Okay. Like what do I right? >> I hear him. I hear him. Okay, >> now y'all going to make me mad. I'm being calm right now because I'm trying to see what's going on. >> I'm being calm, too. Just explain what you need to do. >> Okay. >> The staff then clarified to Da that the still images were taken from actual video footage showing her pocketing money and denying it wouldn't change the facts. That seemed to strike a nerve. Almost instantly, her attitude shifted and she became hostile toward the officers. She even refused to follow their instructions and picked up her belongings after being told not to. >> There still photos. Yes. And we do have videos of it. Okay. So, we're not just just cuz these still photos are showing what where your hands are at. >> This is not changing anything from the video. >> I didn't say anything. >> So, I'm just letting you know we already have it documented a video and everything of you getting the money. >> Okay. I'm confused. >> Can I put my stuff back up in here? >> No, just leave them. Just leave them up there. >> This is my that I bought for my money. Okay, ma'am. >> Write the statement. >> We're going to >> This is my stuff, though. What's wrong? >> Okay. Right now, you're in custody. Okay. So, I need you to get your stuff out. All right. Just write the statement. That's fine. >> Like, this is my stuff. I bought with my money. Why can't I >> So, write that on the statement. Okay. You don't need to yell at me. Do what they're doing. >> I'm grown as hell. Don't Don't talk to me. I'm not talking to you. I'm talking >> right now. You're still at work. So, you're going to do what work's going to ask you to do. Right. I am. But let them, my people, the people that I'm working for, let them talk to me. Please. Y'all don't have >> They called us to assist. So now we're here. So now you're going to write that statement. >> The back and forth continued, and Dja kept denying the accusations. She began talking back to the officers, saying she wouldn't speak to them, which sure is her legal right. But it didn't stop there. When asked to write a statement, Da refused again, handing back the paper with nothing on it but her initials. >> What happened? >> That's why I'm telling you what happened. >> I'm not talking to y'all. Please. I'm talking >> but I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to him. >> I'm telling you what's happened. Okay. >> Okay. But like >> video taking money from the registers and putting in your child seen. >> Okay. >> And that's what I didn't do. >> Okay. Well, it's on video. >> Okay. I want to see video. >> Well, I'm telling you. You're telling me what's on video. Okay. >> It's okay. I don't want no write no statement. >> You want to put in You don't want to write no statement, then you're going to put next. >> I don't want to write no statement. >> Well, then you you're going to initial it. >> You put it in there. I don't want to put no statement. You're going to initial it. >> Okay. Right. Right. No statement and initial statement. >> Right. No statement and then initial it. >> Okay. So this way I can't put in there that you go sir. >> Okay. >> DH. >> At this point it's clear DA still doesn't grasp the seriousness of the situation. She casually asked the officers, "What's your deal?" as if nothing major was happening. So it's no surprise she looked completely confused and shocked when they finally told her she was under arrest. But if you think that's wild, just wait because what she did next sealed the deal. >> You know, [Music] >> don't come here just to look at videos. >> So, what y'all do? >> Arrest you. >> Arrest me? >> Yeah. So, you're going to do what they told you to do is take get back home. >> Why is y'all arresting me? >> Because you're under arrest for stealing. >> I didn't steal anything. >> Okay. Just take off your vest so then we can get out of here. >> Okay. Can I go home? I didn't steal. Like I'm not even from out here. >> What? >> Bro, don't talk to me. I got to get my >> I got to get my stuff. >> Oh, I'm not in the room. Oh, I did not steal anything. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. I got Okay. Okay. Okay. I turn around. Stop. >> You hurting me. >> Give me your hands. >> Put your hands behind your head. >> You hurting me. >> No, he's hurting me. I'm not serious resisting. >> What you mean? I was going to turn around cuz I didn't buy my belongings. >> And from there, things went downhill fast. The officers had to use more force just to get Dja in handcuffs, and in the process, her nails were broken. Sure, it may have looked rough, but the officers were simply doing their job. When someone suspected of a crime becomes aggressive, police are trained to stand their ground and enforce the law. That's just how it works. You don't touch me. >> We can't touch it. >> Stop touching up your hands. >> I It burn me. Like I'm not doing any of y'all. I already got me in the handcuff. Where can I go? >> You're getting an ambulance to get checked out. Just calm down. >> What? Like that don't even make sense. Y'all hurt me and then put me in an ambulance. What? >> Once the chaos settled, the blame game began. Deja pointed fingers at the officers, insisting they were at fault for what happened. But the officers had a different story, noting that it was her resistance during the arrest that ultimately led to her injuries. >> I Oh my granny. Oh my Oh my cousin granny just turn it on me. G I did not hear her. >> Well, you're on body camera. So >> I Wait, y'all did all night. After the fact I chose politely, can I go in the back and get my thing? >> The officers were clearly having a tough time getting Da under control. She was still furious about her broken nails and upset that multiple cops were handling her at once. But honestly, you can't really blame them for being extra cautious given how uncooperative she had been. Fortunately, once they asked her to stay calm and the ambulance arrived, her attitude began to shift. Her demeanor softened and she even started showing respect toward the officers. [Music] >> Her nail. >> They broke my nail. >> Six. They broke my nail. >> Okay, >> that's really it. >> Behind you. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Thank you. >> Uh, you want to go to the hospital and get checked out? >> No. >> Okay. >> How about we cover that up so it doesn't bleed all over? Okay, sounds good. >> Now came the tougher questions. When asked why she had the money, Deja claimed she had bills to pay just like everyone else. But unlike most honest folks, she couldn't explain the other times she was seen pocketing cash during her shifts. That's when things took another turn. Her attitude grew aggressive again, especially after officers discovered she was carrying fake IDs, making her situation even worse. >> I have a I have a bill to pay and that's why I took it out of my transaction. >> Get out of your bank account. You show that transaction. We got our our videos. >> Yep. I'm taking yours and we'll get back to you. I don't go get I'm confused. >> So, you have fake IDs? >> Yeah, I do. I'm young. I'm 20 years old. >> Okay. >> I like to party. I like to >> Yeah, but this legal. >> Okay. I don't give a [ __ ] Y'all can throw them away. Y'all got my real ID. >> Oh, no. You're not They're not getting thrown away. >> Whatever y'all going to do. >> I'm getting charged with. >> In the end, the officers had reached their limit and gave DJ one final warning about her behavior. Still, she insisted she hadn't been resisting at all. Unfortunately for her, that excuse didn't fly with the cops. They weren't convinced. And without any more patience to spare, they walked her out of the store and straight to the police car. >> He right here. He broke my nail at some. And you >> put your hands behind your back when he told you to. >> I >> Okay. >> I was right here. When I was right there, I got up and that's why he did all this everything. I'm not going to have to lie about that. >> While being transported to jail, DA still couldn't wrap her head around what was happening. She questioned the officer, genuinely confused that photos alone could lead to her arrest. In an attempt to gain sympathy, she launched into a story about how poorly she was treated by the people at Walmart. Hoping to appeal to the officer's emotions, but by that point, the damage was already done. >> I mean, I I wasn't there, so I don't know. >> And then the Yeah. And then as me come like I know I I have I know my like I have not anger anger but like I can trigger off basically easy. And as as them talking to me the guy this police guy he just keep like being uh what is it? Aggressive towards me like keep listen to them listen to them. Like but I was telling him like I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to, you know, the security that's telling me. So, they telling me to do the the statement, but what statement do I supposed to put if y'all the one who saying y'all have the video this and that? So, let me see the video. And basically, I can tell my story, but how do I supposed to tell a story if y'all not showing me anything but a picture of me grabbing money out the cashier, the cash register? Like, that's why I'm like, that don't even make sense at all. And then as me as I'm like, "Okay, put your hands behind stuff like that." I'm like, "Can I get my things?" He know. And basically I'm trying to get up and trying to turn around. I'm asking him, "Can I get my things?" Cuz they they still have my coat in my purse. He like literally move my whole hand like my arm is hurting. >> Ultimately, Deja was charged with aggravated assault, theft, and resisting arrest. As for her nails, well, no one really knows. In Florida, aggravated assault, theft, and resisting arrest are serious offenses. Aggravated assault is a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison, while theft and resisting can add additional jail time and fines, leading to a potential multi-year sentence and a lasting criminal record. Denying the evidence won't change the outcome, especially when it's caught on camera. Staying calm and honest goes a lot further than defiance and excuses. All right, let's move to this next case where things might get even messier. When a Walmart shoplifter acts like an entitled brat, when she's caught.
