On March 3rd, 2023, just before 10:00 a.m., Arkansas troopers were alerted to a fresh vehicle theft out of St. Francis County. A red 2016 GMC Sierra had just been stolen from Shell Lake Grocery, and the suspect was already heading eastbound on I40, flying down the wet interstate at nearly 100 mph. Troopers Folultz and Harper moved in to intercept. [Music] I'm behind it right now. 276. Speed's 93. Call it for 20. Successful pit. Successful pit. Trooper executed a high-speed TVI, spinning the truck into a guardrail and bringing it to a stop. Troopers performed a felony takedown on the driver, 19-year-old Jeremiah Green, out of Memphis, Tennessee. He had no valid license and worse, a full extradition warrant for felony theft out of Shelby County. Green was arrested, checked by EMS, and booked into the Kittinden County detention center. The truck was recovered and towed thanks to quick action and flawless execution by the troopers. A dangerous pursuit was ended before it could escalate further. It was January 17th, 2023 when a blue Ford F-150 blazing down I40 at 100 mph with no rear plate caught the attention of troopers in Arkansas. When a trooper attempted to stop the truck, the driver fled from Trooper with no intentions to stop or slow down. And what began as a routine traffic stop quickly unraveled into a chaotic pursuit through city streets, university grounds, and packed intersections where every turn put lives at risk. We're going to turn on Heat. Heat. [Music] Wow. [Music] As the trooper rammed the truck at the intersection, the impact didn't tear the vehicle apart, but it left its mark. From that point on, the truck began losing control every few moments, wobbling through turns and struggling to hold the road. But even with the damage, the suspect kept pushing, refusing to give up and turning the chase into a reckless sprint that put countless lives at risk. whale. Whale whale oil. [Music] While [Music] troopers made multiple attempts to end the chase with pit maneuvers, but each time the suspect pushed harder, slamming brakes, ramming a patrol car, and putting innocent bystanders at risk. Despite overheating brakes and close calls, including swerving near a cyclist, the trooper stayed on him. [Music] Turning Come back. [Music] Get out. Get out. Get off the ground now. Get off the ground. Get down. Pace down. >> Finally, the driver identified as Mr. Holland was taken into custody and hit with a laundry list of charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, felony fleeing, possession of meth, and reckless driving. This wasn't just a chase. It was a rolling crime scene. And thanks to determined troopers, it ended without loss of life, but not without damage. On February 29th, 2024, just after 8:30 in the morning, Arkansas State Police trooper James Booth spotted a silver Ford Mustang with a suspicious temporary tag. At first glance, it looked valid, but a closer inspection revealed the seal was tampered with and the tag had actually expired 2 years earlier. [Music] [Music] Thank you. [Music] right now. >> Even after getting rammed, the Mustang kept going, but the damage was done. The impact crippled the car, and the suspect could no longer outrun the trooper like before. Heat. Heat. [Music] Walk down. Good morning. Williams bailed out and fled on foot toward nearby houses. Williams was transported to the hospital for medical clearance before being booked into Palaski County Jail. He now faces a long list of charges, including felony fleeing, reckless driving, driving the wrong way, and using false registration. On March 10th, 2023, what started as a simple traffic stop for following too closely escalated into one of the most reckless and disturbing pursuits Arkansas troopers had seen in weeks. Trooper Killian attempted to stop a Hyundai Tibon, but the driver had no intention of pulling over. What do you do? That's secondary. The situation turned deadly when the Hyundai began heading the wrong way down the interstate. For everyone's safety, Trooper Killian backed off and moved onto the shoulder until trooper Duncan stepped in and performed a pit while the suspect was still driving eastbound in a westbound lane. I thought you hit him. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> The driver bailed out and ran, fleeing onto a nearby golf course, leaving behind a female passenger who claimed to be pregnant and said she didn't even know the driver. She told troopers she had just been picked up at a local Walmart. With the help of Little Rock PD and K9 Chico, the suspect identified as Brent Ellis was found lying in the woods. It was September 6th, 2023 in Sherwood, Arkansas when a man steals a Jeep from a hospital parking lot. But this isn't just a case of grand theft auto. The suspect, suffering from a clear mental health crisis, takes off, forcing local police and state troopers into a dangerous pursuit across the interstate. 76 primary [Music] for you southbound. His cruiser struck the barrier in the process, but the suspect was stopped. Trooper Davis then jumped out and moved in to arrest the suspect. No. [Music] >> Get up. Get out. Get down. Get down. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> The suspect refused to comply and had to be tased before finally being taken into custody by Sherwood PD and ASP working together. The man later told authorities he had taken the vehicle from a family member. With a history of mental health struggles, it's clear this was more than just a pursuit. It was a moment where quick thinking and restraint likely saved lives on both sides of the law. It was February 21st, 2023 in Faulner County, Arkansas, when Conway police tried to stop a black Dodge Charger. But instead of pulling over, the driver floored it, heading eastbound on Interstate 40 at over 120 mph. That's when Arkansas State Police stepped in. With traffic stacking up and the suspect weaving across lanes and even the shoulder, this wasn't just a simple pursuit. It was a race to stop a potential disaster before it hit the wrong person. There's something going to be secondary. 40 east 140 152. speed 90. But the moment he took the exit, everything changed. We're going to take We're going take JK. Take JK. [Music] [Music] Cory Simmons's reckless flight across multiple jurisdictions came to an end just steps away from a former police station. After pushing speeds past 120 mph, endangering drivers on the shoulder and resisting arrest, his luck ran out. Thanks to coordinated efforts between Conway PD and Arkansas State Police, Simmons was taken into custody and now faces the consequences of a chase that never should have started. On January 21st, 2023, a routine pursuit turns into something far more bizarre. [Music] Understanding [Music] the danger this reckless driver posed to everyone on the road, the trooper made his move. Jordan Cotner was pulled from the car and taken into custody without further incident. No bomb was found, just empty threats. A wrecked Audi and one more dangerous pursuit brought to an end on January 21st, 2023. On June 27th, 2025, Marian County deputies tried pulling over a vehicle for illegal tent and tag violations. The driver acted like he was about to cooperate until he floored it. Just like that, a reckless decision turned into a full-blown pursuit and nearly got him shot. >> Give me Give me your Show me your hands. >> Show me your hands. >> Get out the car. Show me your hands. [Applause] Get out the car. Get out the car. Get out the car. Get out the car. >> He just went through a fence. We're going northbound towards Merry Camp. [Music] We got 70 mph about to come out of Mary Cam. >> 70 mph pretty well. He's driving pretty carelessly with the advisor. They want me to continue [Music] 88. We got 88. Okay. >> The pit maneuver brought the suspect to a stop, but he made one last desperate attempt to flee, only to drive straight into a backyard with nowhere left to run. Deputies were right behind him, and they wasted no time ending it. >> On the ground. Get on the ground. >> M. White beanie hat, gray shorts, black shirt, camo pants. Get on the ground. That's when Arkansas State Trooper Mark positioned himself at the exit, ready to join the hunt the moment the suspect flew by. As the stolen SUV sped past, Trooper Mark jumped into action. 323 71's primary 15. It looks like a green. I don't know if it's somebody else. right now in front of y'all. Pit pit pit pit pit pit.
